A/N: This one's long but I think it's one of my favourites! Enjoy xoxo
– Bella's POV –
"When this is over, where will we go?" I asked Jasper as he rubbed his face across my bare stomach, licking and nipping at my skin.
Just as we had for the last week, we spent all evening basking in our love for one another. If we weren't training and honing my abilities, we were making love.
This wasn't fucking. It wasn't fast and hard. After a long day of training, he'd bring me home to our cottage. We'd unwind for a while, shower together and then relax, curled up on the sofa or in our bed. We spent hours talking endlessly. Sometimes, if there was nothing to say, we'd simply lie together, enjoying the feeling of being in each other's arms. But the night always led to the two of us locked in an embrace as we made love. Slow. Gentle. Sensual. By the time the sun was rising every inch of me, inside and out, smelt like my Jasper.
It was during one of these evenings, about three nights ago, that Isa and I switched places once again. Being with Jasper made us feel safe and secure. It wasn't just the way he held us in his arms or the love that we could feel constantly pouring out of him it was . . . him.
During the day, he split his focus between helping the others become semi-competent fighters and broadening my skills. He was a patient teacher. Always kind when someone didn't understand or couldn't grasp a particular move.
He even went as far as to trust me to teach Esme, Rose, and Alice! I didn't expect him to ask for my help or trust that I'm capable of teaching them. It was a thrilling experience for me and Isa. And helped greatly with our trust issues. Don't get me wrong, I barely trust anyone but Jasper these days, and that likely won't change for a while. But in time, I know the members of the Whitlock Coven will become my family.
While she was in control, Isa bonded with Alice and Char. She knew and accepted that, above all others, those two would be the ones we could count on and trust.
Well, apart from Jasper. He comes before everyone.
For now, I was happy with my little group. The Whitlocks, Charlie, and Alice all saw me for me. They saw the differences between me and Isa. And the differences between the human Bella and the vampire I am now. Not everyone could grasp that I've changed, aged, and matured.
When Rosalie wasn't snarky and cold, she was harping on about babies and how lucky I am that I could conceive a child with my mate. Of course, the baby talk starts Carmen, Esme, and Tanya off, too! I'm so lucky to have such an amazing gift. When are we going to conceive? How could I not want children, every woman in the world must want children!
They couldn't seem to grasp that Jasper and I have discussed it, at length, and decided babies are not for us. We are vampires. Not humans. Besides, conceiving could kill me! Though, even that fact didn't stop them!
It took all my strength to keep Isa from tearing them apart when they decided my child will call Esme nana, Carmen will be abuela, and Rosalie will be my fictitious child's godmother!
It's all fine and dandy to pretend, to daydream, to fantasize, whatever! But when they start picking out my child's name, planning the nursery design in each of their houses, and shopping for baby clothes for a child that will never exist, it's a bit much!
When she wasn't lost in the baby madness, Esme was trying to mother me! Every time I said something she didn't approve of she'd scold me like I'm a child! Of course, that only encouraged Isa to broaden our already colorful repertoire.
Emmett still thought of me as a fragile, weak human. Jasper said to give him time. That all of this had likely come as a shock to him and he'd need a moment to digest it all and adjust his perspective.
It's been a week! Moment's over. I am a vampire. Not a human!
Thankfully, the others were keeping their distance. Eleazar was trying to keep Carlisle on a short leash, though from what I could tell, it wasn't going well. Despite being the Alpha in the relationship, Eleazar was pussy-footing around. He'd give Carlisle an order, then follow it up with something like 'if that's okay'. Don't give a fuckin' command and then ask if it's okay!
I swear, these vampires are all fuckin' nuts!
And I thought we were crazy! We're downright sane compared to this lot!
Distracting me from my thoughts, Jasper dragged his tongue down to my hip and began gently nipping. "Where would you like to go?" He mumbled against my skin.
I smiled. "As far from here as possible. Somewhere hot. Tropical. Fiji maybe. The villa in Greece. Guadeloupe. The house there is right on the beach. About fifty feet from the ocean. It's beautiful."
He looked up at me and I could see the worry in his eyes. "I've never been," he admitted.
"Because of the sun," I finished, running my fingers through his hair.
He looks so sad. Why did you have to make him sad? Quick, kiss him! That usually perks him up.
I have something better in mind.
Peeking out the window, I smiled.
Oh, is it time? We can show him?
"C'mon. I want to show you something." I wiggled out from under him and took his hand in mine.
Don't forget the head!
Right. Right. I grabbed Edward's head, too. Luckily, he was blindfolded and couldn't see a damn thing. I was also using a mini shield placed inside his ears, so he couldn't hear anything we were saying. Without his tongue, his gift, and now his eyes and ears, too, he was completely at my mercy. I'd considered plucking out his eyeballs but . . .
Eww. Gross!
"Babe, we're naked!" Jasper laughed, following me out of the cottage and into the surrounding forest. It was still dark, but there wasn't much time.
"I know, but it's necessary." I smiled, running with him at my side.
Ooh. I like this! Maybe we should become nudists!
If I get to stare at my mate's beautiful body, I'm open to it!
On second thought, I'm not sure I like the idea of other people seeing all his lovely nakedness.
Hmm. Good point! Maybe we could be private nudists. Just do it in the house or on our beach! Where only we get to enjoy his sexiness.
Guadalupe is looking better and better. The private beach. The house. We'd barely have to put on clothes!
True, but we were only there fifty years ago! Someone might recognize us.
Not if you use your gift to age yourself, or change completely! Or there are other ways to explain it. Bella Swan left Guadeloupe fifty years ago. So, you could easily pass for your own granddaughter. The story would be easy enough to fake. Keep it simple. You're nineteen. You've inherited the beach house from your grandmother, who's just passed. Jasper is your boyfriend. It's not like you made a lot of close friends on the island. And anyone who did know you back then is old and senile by now!
All good points. I've never played my own grandchild before. That'll be interesting. And it's not like I did a lot of interacting with the locals. Some, but I kept to myself for the most part. If I changed a few things about myself, it's unlikely anyone would recognize me.
I'll bring it up to Jasper after his surprise. I'd love to show him the beach.
We made it to the meadow Edward used to take me to in less than ten minutes. It wasn't ideal, but it was the only place I could think of that the family wouldn't follow if we were here for a while.
"What are we doing here, Darlin'?" He asked as I set Edward down in the grass and turned him to face away from us. No need to take the chance he might be able to see through the blindfold. For now, I didn't want anyone to know about this but my mate.
Once Edward was settled, I turned back to Jasper and smiled. "Just watch."
My eyes were drawn away from him. I tilted my head towards the rising sun and focused my mind on what I wanted to do. As the sun began to rise in the morning sky, Jasper began to sparkle. But as I wrapped my shield around him, the sparkling of his skin faded to a dim glow, just like mine in my hybrid form. I couldn't eliminate the sparkle, but I could turn it down, so to speak.
Jasper stared at his naked body in awe. "How did you . . ."
"It's my shield, just applied differently," I explained.
"This is amazing! How long can you hold it?" He wondered.
"Forever." I shrugged. "And I'm hoping, with time and practice, I'll be able to shield our Coven, too. I tried the other day, but I had difficulty focusing on everyone at once. I think shielding you is easier because you're my mate."
He was in awe. "This means we could go out into the sunshine together. You could show me all your favourite places without waitin' fer the sun to go down! We could live in the tropics! We could travel and see the world together. Darlin', this is amazing!"
Laughing and smiling, he pulled me into him and pressed his lips to mine in a passionate kiss. Unable to resist, and unwilling to hold back, we made love in Edward's meadow, surrounded by the wildflowers, our bodies gently glistening in the early morning sunlight.
Yes. I might've enjoyed that a little too much. Petty, maybe, but I was too happy and too in love with my mate to care!
– XOXO –
Hours later, we returned to the cottage. For now, we were both sated in our desire for one another. It wouldn't last long. As a newly mated couple, the need to mark and scent each other and the overwhelming emotions that come with mating would eventually draw us back together.
I can't say I mind that part. Just being with Jasper is the most wonderful thing I've ever experienced.
I agree. There's nothing in the world like it.
And to think, not so long ago, you were the one who didn't want to mate or have a relationship. Now, look at you!
And you were the one who didn't want to come to Forks. I told you something was drawing me back here. And I was right. We found Jasper and Charlie!
Okay. Okay. Coming back to this rainy little town was worth it. But once this shit is over and Vicky is dead, let's never come back. Deal?
Deal.
Jasper and I showered together—you know, to save water—and then dressed for the day before heading out to the training field, where everyone was sparring.
Esme, Rose, and Emmett were doing wonderfully. All three of them were able to defend themselves and, on occasion, could even best their opponent, too. They'd never won against Peter, Char, or Jasper. But then again, none of us had! Those three have more training and experience than all of us combined.
Kate and Garrett were another pair who were well-trained. They didn't need much help, so they spent their time helping others. Kate was especially vicious when she combined her combat skills with her gift. Though against me and Charlie, her gift was rendered useless.
Tanya and Carmen were coming along well. Eleazar already had the basics down and just needed a refresher and a little help here and there. I let Jasper and Peter deal with them, lest I lose control and someone ends up losing a head!
Carlisle and Irina were the worst fighters we had. At least Irina was trying. I'll give her that. She just seemed to lack the motivation to learn. Though that changed when Char near enough took her head off for whining about getting her designer jeans dirty.
Seems I wasn't the only one holding my tongue. Char went off on Irina, telling her to buck up or leave. But if she stayed, she needed to learn to fight because she could be responsible for saving a member of her Coven. If she couldn't find the motivation to learn for the rest of us, she could at least try to help her Coven, who've all stood by her for a thousand years!
After that, there was a change in Irina. Well, sort of. She was still snarky and cold, she still hated me and blamed me for Laurent's death, but now she was trying.
Yeah. It's great. Woo-fuckin'-who! You know why she's motivated, don't you? We're giving her the skills to kill us in a fight! She's a vindictive little bitch. And we're just handing her the tools to take out her enemy. US!
Yeah. That had crossed my mind, too. But, as Charlie says, one problem at a time.
Carlisle was a different matter altogether. He refused to learn how to defend himself! He still insisted Victoria wasn't coming and if she did come, he'd happily throw me to her to save his precious Edward.
Yes. It was still all about Edward!
If he wasn't arguing with Eleazar, still denying their bond, and scolding Esme for believing such nonsense, he was demanding I return his precious Edward.
Not happening! He's mine! All mine! Well, at least until the Volturi arrive. Then he's their problem!
About five days into our training, reinforcements arrived and, yet again, life was thrown into chaos when Esme was introduced to Axel, one of Jasper's long-time friends and a survivor of the southern wars.
Axel is huge! Massive! At least seven feet tall with shoulders wider than Emmett's! He had a lot of hair; thick and blonde, trailing down to his waist in an intricate plait. And a full, bushy beard, which was also plaited in parts. He wore a dark brown fur vest, revealing his bare chest that was covered in dark hair and scars, at least as many as my mate! His arms were, no joke, about the size of my waist and covered in intricate tattoos and bitemarks. He wore a pair of leather trousers, that molded to his body and did very little to hide his manhood!
Holy fuck! What are they feeding this beast?
He was intimidating and a little terrifying. I'm not scared of much, but the sight of this vampire had me shifting behind my mate and pulling my shield up around us and our Coven.
"It's all right, Darlin'," Jasper soothed, reaching back to take my hand in his. "Axel ain't gonna hurt ya. He might look like a mean son of a bitch, but he's a gentle giant."
Axel, as it turns out, was a Viking and over a thousand years old. He'd fought in every war he could since his change, both human and vampire alike! He'd met Jasper during his days in the southern wars, though at the time they'd been fighting on opposite sides.
Over the years he'd met Carlisle and Edward, as well as Eleazar and the Denali Coven. Though, from what I can gather, he didn't care for any of them. Especially Tanya and Irina, who just couldn't take no for an answer. Turns out, like the sisters, Axel is also an incubus vampire. The man's got an appetite for sex as big as he is! The sisters seemed to be under the impression he was meant for one of them, but he couldn't stand them and let them know it anytime they tried to seduce him! Kate was the only one he liked because she'd never tried to seduce him.
What none of us realized when Axel showed up was another of Carlisle's secrets was about to come to light. And this one would get him in a lot of trouble when the Volturi arrived. More than likely, even offering me up to the Volturi would not be enough to save Carlisle this time!
Axel had only been here ten minutes when Esme stepped out of the house. She was a little hesitant at first, Carlisle had told her about his old friend Axel, but he'd kept her away from the man he considered unrefined and a neanderthal! He'd filled her head with stories of a vicious brute who took whatever he wanted, pillaged, and raped innocent young girls. So, when the two finally locked eyes and their mating bond manifested, nobody was expecting it!
As soon as their bond registered, Axel let out a roar that bellowed across the entire town, scooped Esme up into his massive arms, and raced into the surrounding forest. The sounds of Esme's happy laughter filtered through the trees as they disappeared.
Having witnessed the entire thing, Carlisle tried to run but this time it was The Major who put him on his ass. Eleazar tried to reason with Jasper, and when that didn't work, he tried to fight The Major!
What. An. Idiot. I never thought Carlisle was stupid enough to purposefully keep a mated couple apart! And why? To continue living a lie?
Yes. That's exactly it. I think Carlisle Cullen will go to great lengths to deny the truth and continue living his perfect little fantasy life where all is well and normal. At least his skewed version of normal.
Axel and Esme were gone two days before they returned, both sporting satisfied smiles and fresh mating marks on their necks.
"There is a war on the horizon," Axel growled out, "but when our enemy is ash, I will deal with him, Major!"
When Pete and Char pulled Esme and Axel away from training, they told the newly mated couple what we had planned and the Volturi's pending arrival. I'm not sure what Axel has planned for Carlisle, and, to be honest, I don't care. Whatever punishment they come up with will likely be thawed by Eleazar and the Denali Coven to save Carlisle! I doubt the bastard will get what's coming to him. Somehow, he has a way of slipping through the cracks!
After Axel's arrival, came the other nomads. Randal, Mary, Makenna, and Charles. And to say Carlisle and Eleazar weren't happy was an understatement. Carlisle harped on about them being his friends not mine and they should be standing with him not me. I ignored him the best I could and kept my distance. But from what I could tell, the four nomads were getting their first look at the real Carlisle Cullen, and they didn't like what they saw!
I didn't bother telling anyone that I already knew Makenna and Charles, though only in passing. We were acquaintances. I liked them, they were good people. But we hadn't spent a lot of time together.
I met up with Randal and Mary a few times over the years. They're companions, not mates. And, like me, they're a little kinky and adventurous. I wasn't about to go into that with my mate around, nor did Carlisle Cullen need to know the sordid details of my past sexual exploits. Now I'm mated, it's all in the past anyway.
I did pull Jasper aside to tell him about my past with Randal and Mary. Not the details, he didn't need or want to hear that. But I wanted him to know in case it came out somehow. I didn't want him to be caught by surprise or, worse, think I was keeping secrets from him. He took it surprisingly well! He, like me, has a past. Neither of us is innocent! That virginity boat sailed a long time ago, for both of us!
Perhaps this is what it's like to be in a mature relationship . . .
It's a little odd. I keep expecting him to throw a temper tantrum and start making demands. On the other hand, it's kinda nice! I can tell him something and know that he's not going to lose his shit or become Mr. Possessive! I told him. He understood. And that was it. No muss. No fuss!
Now that we're bonded and he's settled into our mating, he's matured. He knows we're mated. We're his. As he is ours. Whatever's happened in our past is exactly that, in the past. it has no bearing on our future with him.
Why can't all vampires be this mature?
I think most of them are. Look at Charlie and Alice, Peter and Char, Axel, and the nomads! You just happen to associate with those who're stuck holding onto the past, unable to accept what they are, and take being immature dickheads to a whole new level!
Time to make some changes then. Once this is over, I think we should try avoiding all Denali and Cullen vampires for at least a century.
Maybe two. I don't think it'll take much to convince our mate, he's looking a little frazzled by this whole thing!
The Major's close to the surface. It won't take much more for him to rise and give Jasper a break.
They can only put up with so much shit! Maybe, to help him, you could try out that submitting thing . . . you know, give Jasper a break and let The Major take control for a bit.
I'll think about it.
Maybe.
I could feel my mate staring at me, his eyes boring into the side of my head as if he were trying to read my mind, so I focused on the four nomads. They were excellent editions to our army. They were all trained and could fight almost as well as Garrett and Kate!
That put our numbers at twenty, not including Carlisle and Edward's head.
Twenty seasoned, trained fighters. Hopefully, it would be enough.
The shifters in La Push had chosen not to join this fight. After eighty-five years, the original pack that interfered in my transformation was either dead or had stopped shifting decades ago. This pack was new. They were undisciplined, hated vampires with a fiery passion, and were untrained. From what I've been told, if they joined us, they'd be likely to kill indiscriminately, taking out us and Victoria's army. They were ready to protect their land—because that's all that mattered to them—but they refused to protect the innocent lives in Forks and the surrounding areas.
And they call themselves protectors. Ha! We're better off without the mutts butting into our business. We're a strong army. No need to add furballs to the mix.
I agree. Vamps and shifters don't mix well, best to keep them on their side of the treaty line than show any kind of weakness!
– XOXO –
The day before the battle, everything shifted once again.
We were all doing our own thing. Peter, Jasper, and a few others were going over tactics and battle plans. Some were training. Dad was practicing his shield with Ali. I was helping Char teach Makenna a few new moves.
Everything was coming along great. Until Alice let out a piercing scream. Charlie was the first to reach her. Unsure what was happening, his instincts took over and he dropped into a crouch, snarling at anyone who tried to go near his mate.
"Alice, what do you see?" Jasper asked, gently pulling me behind him.
Her eyes were glassy and she looked terrified. "Sh-She's coming . . ."
"Oh, fuck me," Peter breathed. "Uh, Major. We have a problem."
"I see that, Pete." He growled. "Who's coming?"
"Maria." Peter and Alice said at the same time.
The Major let out a roar and began to pace back and forth in front of me.
"Maria is coming here?" I asked. "When? Why?"
Alice shook her head and leaned into Charlie, seems whatever she'd seen wasn't all rainbows and sunshine.
This could work out in our favour. If she comes to us, we don't have to risk our mate's life by going to her! This could all be over by the end of the week and we can start our life with our mate!
That was true. Her coming to us, though unexpected, was better than us going to her and risking one of Jasper's former enemies trying to make a name for themselves by taking out the famed God of War!
Plus, it meant this would all be over. We could end this. I could get my revenge. And by next week, Jasper and I could be making love on the beach.
But it is odd . . .
Yep. Something sure does smell fishy . . .
Peter shook his head, frowning. "I didn't see this comin'."
"Victoria's pushed back her attack," Ali whispered. "She and her army will be here in three days. There will be snow on the ground. Their course is set."
A low, dangerous hiss slipped through Peter's bared teeth. "Maria knows you've found your mate, Major!"
How the hell did she find out we'd mated? We've only been together a week! It's not like we sent out a mass memo to the whole vampire community! The only ones who know are here!
Uh, Sunshine. I hate to be the one to suggest this, but I think we have a traitor in our midst.
Oh. Fuck.
"I . . ." Peter shook his head, looking utterly clueless, "I need more time, Jay."
Hmm. That's odd. Peter always calls him Major. I don't think I've ever heard him call our mate by his name. It's always Major. Never Jay!
Jasper gave a sharp nod. "All right, listen up," he commanded, bringing everyone's attention to him immediately. "If Maria's entering the fight, we need to regroup and re-strategize. We don't have a lot of time. For now; Charlie, Char, take your mates to hunt. But stay together and stay alert." The two nodded and took off without another word. "I think we could all use a break, so why don't the rest of you enjoy some downtime with your mates, companions, whatever. Go hunt. Relax. We'll reconvene in the morning when Pete and Alice can tell us more. Dismissed."
Nobody questioned his sudden lax attitude. Especially after hearing his Sire is on the way and potentially working with Victoria.
Amateurs.
Taking my hand in his, Jasper lifted it to his lips. "Why don't we hunt too, Darlin'?"
"Sure." I nodded, letting him lead me away from the Cullen house.
We did not hunt. What we did was run all over the place zigzagging through the forest, then we headed up into the mountains. We ran back and forth, here and there, then headed back down to Seattle.
Leaving a scent trail, in case we're being followed. Smart move.
We were running for hours. If anyone was following us, only a skilled tracker would be able to reach our true destination. Seattle. Peter and Charlotte's hotel room.
"What the fuck is going on?" Jasper demanded when Char let us in.
Charlie and Ali were snuggled up on the couch together, both sipping on warmed-up blood bags, their eyes bright red.
"Isa thinks we have an enemy in our midst," I said, taking a seat beside Charlie, who wrapped his arm around me, pulling me into his side. "And why did you call Jasper, Jay?" I asked Peter. "She thought that was odd, too."
Peter grinned. "It's our code word, so to speak. If I call him Jay, it means somethin' up and we need to talk privately right away."
I nodded.
"And our newest enemy? Who it is?" I asked.
"Not just one, Suga Bean," Peter said, sighing. "Two."
Jasper let out a low, dangerous growl. "Irina and Carlisle."
Well, duh. I'm not psychic, but even I could've told you that was coming! Are we surprised by this turn of events?
Not really. But damn. I'm not even a hundred years old and I already have two mortal enemies!
I suppose I should've been more concerned. Carlisle and Irina were plotting my death, after all. And using Maria and Victoria as their weapon of choice. But, I dunno, I just couldn't bring myself to be scared when I'm mated to the fiercest warrior in our world.
Jasper was livid. I've never seen him so angry. And yes, I did think that was incredibly sexy. If we weren't surrounded by our Coven, I would've happily submitted to him and spent the rest of the afternoon at his mercy.
I thought you said you'd never submit.
Well, a girl can change her mind, can't she? This sexy man beast deserves to be worshiped and taken care of! Look at him. He needs to be loved and shown the respect he's been missing for decades! Nobody's going to do that better than his mate.
I agree.
"What do we know?" Jasper demanded, his black eyes on me as he addressed the Coven.
"I can't see much," Alice admitted. "With Bella and Charlie involved, my visions are rendered useless. I'm surprised I caught that last vision. I'm not even sure who it came from!"
"What did you see, Ali?" I wondered.
"On Sunday night, a storm will roll in, temperatures will drop and by Monday morning there will be six inches of snow on the ground," she answered. "That night, their army will arrive. At twilight."
"In the baseball field." I assumed. "Where this mess started."
"Victoria seems to be sentimental," Alice agreed.
"And Maria?" Jasper hissed.
"She'll hang back," Peter answered this time, "let Victoria's army do its job. She's under the impression Victoria's in control of her army and they'll succeed in taking out most of us. She knows you'll be fine. Probably me and Char, too. But she believes Bella is nothin' but a weak vampire with no gift. She assumes once Bella falls, you'll be so distraught, The God of War will resurface and, as she's the only one who can control him, she'll be able to lure him back to her."
"How many is she comin' with?" Jasper asked.
Peter smirked. "Three seasoned fighters and her first in command. So, five, including her."
I frowned. "That's it?"
"It ain't easy travelin' across the country with a newborn army," Pete said. "Maria thinks Victoria's army is disciplined and strong."
"She's assuming they'll win and take us all out," Charlie growled.
She's wrong about that. Victoria has no control over her army. We've done our homework. She's constantly replacing soldiers due to infighting. At least in his day, The Major was able to control Maria's army!
"Victoria's overplaying her hand," Charlie laughed, "and Maria has no idea."
"Nope." Peter grinned. "By the time she realizes, it'll be too late." His eyes turned to Jasper. "But Major, if we don't take her out now, she'll try again, and keep tryin' until she gets what she wants." He warned his eyes shifted to me.
Oh damn. Do you mean to say, if we don't take her out now, she'll keep coming back until she eventually kills us?
Yep. I think that's what he's saying.
Jasper let out a raging snarl. His eyes went black as The Major rose to the surface and he darted to my side, pulling me onto his lap. Low growls reverberated through him as I curled into his body. "Shh. I'm here, Major. I'm safe. We're strong," I reminded him. "You, me, and our Coven. We're strong. Victoria and Maria will fall. We'll deal with Carlisle and Irina's betrayal. And then we'll leave Forks behind and spend the rest of our lives living in peace. No more war. No more battles. No more pain or fighting. Just us."
Nuzzling my throat, he purred and I felt him beginning to relax against me.
"Oh, Maria is so screwed!" Pete said as I stroked Jasper's soft hair and listened to him purr.
"How do you mean, Pete?"
"Maria thinks she's the only one who can control The Major and The God of War. She's wrong. Look at them." He tilted his head towards me and The Major. "He's a mated man now. That changes everythin'!"
A/N: I love the idea that Bella's shield could stop the sparkling. I'm not a fan of the sparkling. It's so cruel and restricting. So, anything I can come up with to get rid of the sparkle, I do! :)
Carlisle's been a very bad boy! Keeping Esme from her mate, conspiring to kill Bella with Irina. How will Eleazar possibly save his mate this time? Do you think he can?
The wolves won't be joining the fight. I figured we've got enough drama, we don't need them as well!
And Maria is on her way!
I can't wait to see what happens at the battle and what the Volturi will do when they arrive!
