Ruby Rose and Cinnabar Rose

Or

Red, White, Black, Yellow, and Crimson

A woman's voice is heard:

Legends...

Stories scattered and forgotten through time.

Man, born from dust, was strong, wise, and resourceful.

An inevitable darkness-creatures of destruction-The creatures of Grimm-

set their sight on man and all of his creations. Man was hunted by the Grimm,

and just when it seemed like man's brief existence might return to void.

the smallest spark of hope brought forth a great change.

Man used his passion, resourcefulness, and ingenuity to uncover a new power, appropriately called Dust.

Man thus lit their way through darkness in the shadow's absent, came civilization and life.

A Father's Voice is heard: Alright girls, champ, one story and then it's bedtime. Okay? I mean it.

A Young Girl's voice: Okay, daddy.

A Young Boy's voice: Yes, dad.

A Older Girl's Voice: Is it fill-

Father: Yes Yang, I promise you, it is filled with monsters and fighting.

Young Yang: (excited) Yes!

Young Girl: (shouts) Monsters and fighting!

Young Boy: Monsters better lose.

Father: Alright, alright, get in bed. Now...

The father clears his throat.

Father: (narrating) A long time ago, there was a village surrounded by an enormous forest. A village that had been safe from the creatures of Grimm for as long as anyone could remember. It had been so long, that the villagers believe that their forest had been charmed and would keep the monsters at bay, so long as no one entered it.

As a boy was running with his kite at the village until he trips himself from a rock. The boy falls onto the grass and the kite flies away. He stands up before looking back at his village and runs after his kite.

Father: (narrating) But as time went on, the people became complacent.

Young Girl & Boy: Complacent?

Father: Oh, uh, careless.

Young Girl & Boy: Oh.

The boy finds his kite, but he gets distracted by a glowing moth and chases after it to the nighttime where the boy keeps chasing after the glowing moth. He hears growling sounds and becomes afraid when he is confronted by a Beowolf, who is about to pounce on him. Suddenly, a black-haired girl shoves the boy aside and slays the Beowolf. A black mist disappears from the now boney remains of the

Warrior: Go home.

The boy just stares at the warrior, who turns around.

Warrior: You never saw me.

The warrior begins to walk away.

Boy: Wait! Thank you.

The boy watches the warrior walk away.

Father: (narrating) When the boy made it back to his village, he told no one of the warrior who had saved him, but he described the terrible monster he had narrowly escaped. Those who believed him took his safe return as proof that the woods protected them. Everyone continued living exactly as they had. Everyone, except the boy.

The boy started whittling to the sunset as the boy sharpens his knife with a wood statue resembles the warrior. After he sharpens and examines his knife, he sheathes it. The boy heads to the woods to search for the warrior. The boy hears the growling and confronts a Beowolf before it was slain by the warrior, once again. The warrior sheathes her weapon.

Warrior: You again?

Boy: You remember me?

Warrior: I remember everyone I've saved... and everyone I didn't. I told you not to come back.

Boy: I had to find you. To bring you this.

The boy gives the warrior a baggage.

Warrior: I'll take it, if it means you'll leave.

Boy: Thank you.

Warrior: Next time you enter the woods, you're on your own.

The boy watches the warrior walk away once more before he looks down at his knife and sheathes it.

Some time later, the boy now wielding a machete confronting three Stygians. The boy manages to cut down two Stygians but the third Stygian attacks the boy. The boy holds his wounded shoulder. The Stygian attempts to attack the boy but it is cut down. The boy realizes as he stands up.

Boy: I knew you'd still come to my rescue. Thank you.

The warrior comes out from the trees.

Warrior: I told you I wouldn't save you this time. Why do you keep coming back here?

The boy walks toward the tree and picks up a curved sword.

Boy: I have a question for you.

Warrior: Go ahead and ask. I don't promise an answer.

Boy: Why? Why do you live in the woods alone? Why do you risk your life to save strangers? Why do you protect the village? Why?

The warrior takes the sword from the boy.

Warrior: That's five questions. (stares at herself in a reflection of the sword) But they all have the same answer. I live here alone because I am alone. And as a general rule, I don't like people. Most of my own people were killed long ago. My family, everyone I've ever known, is dead. And if there are other survivors like me, they're scattered all over Remnant.

Boy: Killed by the Grimm?

Warrior: Murdered by other people.

Boy: Oh... But then why do you protect others?

Warrior: Because I can. Because no one else will. And because some people are good like you. And that gives me hope.

The warrior gives the sword back to the boy.

Warrior: Why do you keep coming back to the woods?

Boy: You spent all these years looking after us. I thought maybe it would be nice if someone looked after you for a change.

Warrior: (smiles) Well, don't come back.

The boy smiles back at the warrior.

Father: (narrating) Of course, he would come back, but not for another year.

After some time has passed, a girl playing with her kite. The girl becomes scared as she encounters three beowolves.

Father: (narrating) The villagers wondered why the monsters had returned. But the young boy, now a young man, he knew that they had never left. That until now, the village had been protected by an unseen warrior.

The girl is still afraid until the young man came to protect her and fought the beowolves.

Father: (narrating) And on the appointed day of his annual visit, he fought tirelessly to find her. Only this time, she was nowhere to be found.

The young man arrives at the abandoned home.

Father: The woods would become too dangerous without their guardian. But the young man was going to do his best to protect the village in her place.

The young man picks up the warrior's sword and stares his reflection. The scene transitions to the villagers at the campfire.

Father: (narrating) And finally tell others of her story. So they would always know who they had to thank for the many years of good days that they'd enjoyed.

The young man hears the Grimm growling and prepares to confront with two swords.

Villager: Why did you keep going back there, year after year?

Young Man: Because that's what I could do. Because no one else would. Because... I fell for her.

Thinking back to where the boy first encountered the warrior.

Young Man: The moment I saw her silver eyes.

The warrior turns around, now revealing her silver eyes.

The story ends as a young Ruby Rose and a year-older Cinnabar Rose was both sitting next to each other, while a young Yang Xiao Long is fast asleep. Cinnabar was holding a teddy bear in his hands.

Young Ruby: What's wrong, Daddy?

Taiyang Xiao Long is sitting on his chair, reading a story to Ruby and Cinnabar.

Taiyang: (rubs his face) Oh, it's, uh, it's nothing, baby. Do you two want to hear another story?

Young Ruby: (smiles) Nope. That one was perfect.

Young Cinnabar: (yawning) Yep.

Taiyang: Alright champ, time for you to be in your bed.

Taiyang started to stand up to pick up Cinnabar, and carry him to his bedroom.

Young Cinnabar: Okay... (tiredly spoke) Goodnight, Ruby.

Young Ruby: Goodnight Cin.

Taiyang soon closed the bedroom door, as Ruby getting ready to sleep with her big sister for the night. As Taiyang was walking his son to his bedroom, Cinnabar was holding onto him tightly.

Taiyang: Still don't like those monsters do you, Champ?

Young Cinnabar: No. (slightly gloomy)

They've soon went into Cinnabar's bedroom. Taiyang than gently tucked in Cinnabar.

Taiyang: I Know, I also know you don't have to be a huntsman if really don't want to when you get older, to be like the heroes in the stories your sisters wants to be, but there's lots of time to about things like that, with all that said, I'd remembered how much you did like The Hunter's Children, so why don't I read that story next, to you and girls tomorrow night, would like that?

Young Cinnabar: (yawning) Maybe... Night, Dad.

Taiyang: (leans in to kiss Cinnabar on the forehead) Goodnight, Cinnabar

Cinnabar rested his head on his pillow, closing his eyes, starting to have a good sleep, as Taiyang left and quietly shut Cinnabar's door... However, Cinnabar opened his eyes, making sure the coast was clear. Cinnabar than moved his sheets and quietly stepped out of bed, walking towards his bedroom windows. Looking upon his refection and noticing his own silver eyes, with a very concerned look, only to entranced by the sight of the shattered moon of Remnant and it's majestic glow. But Cinnabar soon closed his eyes and soon took a deep breath, as he went back to bed with his teddy bear to finally have a good rest to ease his slightly troubled thoughts for another time.

Years later, upon the golden sun in an clear blue sky over the tall grass and trees, In front of Summer's Gravestone is a young girl with a red cloak billowing petals in the breeze. Hands clasped and hood up, Ruby is standing over the white stone memorial.

Ruby: "Hey, Mom! It's been a while. Oh! Guess what? Yang got accepted into Beacon Academy! How cool is that? (looks down at the inscription: "Summer Rose – Thus Kindly I Scatter") She always said she wanted to be an huntress, and she did it! I just can't believe it! (lowering her head a bit) But if I'm being honest, it is kind of annoying. Oh, of course I'm happy for my big sister, but I want to be a Huntress too. I still have two more years at Signal. Oh, why can't I be more like her? (she quickly shakes it off, and takes out her inactive weapon Crescent Rose) Anyway, when it comes to weapons, I'm as good as anyone, better even. I'm gonna work hard, so I can fight to protect the people from Grimm. (giving a confident wink) Just like you did, Mom!"

Ruby than suddenly heard Yang's motorcycle Bumblebee approaching the gravesite, with Cinnabar sitting in the sidecar, Honeycomb. Yang Xiao Long soon stops to park Bumblebee, both getting off, and taking off their helmets and sunglasses.

Cinnabar's new outfit is a fusion of Western-style attire with parts of samurai armor. He wears a decorative, red and dark brown cropped jacket over a black shirt, along with a silver dog tag named "Zwei" hanging around his neck, and pair of metal wristband bracelets, and the 4 types of dust crystals in the slots. The buttoned cuffs of his gold-trimmed kote-like sleeves are patterned with a Welsh Dragon same crest is marked on the poleyns of his boot-laced suneate (shin guards) with red shoes with grey laces and a pale green lining on the bottom just above the purple soles.

Ruby: "Yang, Cin, you both came!" (running towards her older sister and brother, with great excitement, as she, Cinnabar, and Yang share a hug together.)

Yang: "You giving Mom the good news, huh?"

Ruby: "I told her you got into Beacon, oh why can't I go?"

Yang: "Oh Ruby, don't worry, your time will come, Isn't that right, Mom?" (smiling as she looks at their mother's gravestone, giving it a wink)

Cinnabar: "Alright! (excited) come on! let's get going to Vale! can't wait to enjoy there before Beacon starts it's school year." (already walking back to Bumblebee, leaving Yang and Ruby slightly shocked)

Ruby: "Hold on, Cin! You and Yang just got here, don't you wanna just see to Mom, even for a little bit?"

Cinnabar stopped and turned, seeing his little sister saying this. He then looked towards Summer's grave from the distance. he felt a bit unsure to considering the little time they've have before leaving on their trip to the kingdom of Vale. He'd than turned to his older sister.

Yang: (smiling) "Go on, It's okay."

Cinnabar: Um... okay then...

Cinnabar started walking towards the gravestone. He than took a deep breath half-way there. Cinnabar had always felt emotionally heavy, seeing his adopted mother's gravestone, being reminded of the few years he had with her, her husband, her stepdaughter, and her newborn daughter. Cinnabar soon where Ruby once stood.

Cinnabar: Hi... Mom, I guess Ruby already you about Yang, huh? (tears starts to rolls down on both sides of his cheeks) So yeah, I still have one more year at Signal, and Ruby would still be around, I know It'll still be hard for both of us with Yang leaving for Beacon, than Ruby will have to wait one more alone, but I'll try to watch over her in Yang's place for a while. (wiping the tears, and takes out his inactive weapons Ddraig Goch and Ddraig Wen) My weapons still work pretty good after the years we've have them for, making sure they're still good and proficient, and I've doing quite well in studies of Dust. (lowering his head a bit) Just... still need to improve my combat and social skills... (putting his weapons away) It's been hard at times to keeping without you, after everything you and Dad had done for me... giving me another chance to have a new... (breaking down in tears again) A new family... And I'll be sure to make you and even my birth parents proud of me... I promise.

Ruby and Yang soon comforted Cinnabar, sharing another hug with him, seeing him being overwhelmed with grief. the three soon started walking back to Bumblebee.

Ruby: Don't worry Cin, We'll promise to always be by your side...

Yang: ...Even if we're far apart at times, the three of us will always be family.

Cinnabar: (feeling better, wiping away more tears, and took another deep breath) Right.

Yang: Okay, Ruby? Cin? (raising her fist, with enthusiasm) Ready to go to Vale?

Ruby & Cin: Yeah!

Yang: Great! The sooner we get to Vale, and sooner I can finally put aside Honeycomb.

Ruby: (getting on Bumblebee with Yang) Oh, but I like Honeycomb, and there's no room for the three of us with just Bumblebee.

Cinnabar: (siting down in Honeycomb) I know Ruby, I agree with Yang of it's cramping Bumblebee's style.

Ruby: (putting on her helmet) Whatever, so Yang, is there anything you had in mind doing, once we've arrive in Vale?

Yang: (she paused for moment before reaching the handle) I was thinking... of sightseeing around Vale with Bumblebee on my own for while, you guys okay with that?

Cinnabar: Sure, makes sense.

Ruby: (smiling) And Me and Cin could just check at some places not to far from the hotel we're staying in.

Yang: (smiling back) Sounds like a plan, then.

Yang and Cinnabar put back on their sunglasses and helmets, as Yang started up Bumblebee and drove back to the woods for their soon departure to Vale.

Meanwhile, in Atlas, The heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, Weiss Schnee was preparing herself with her rapier Myrtenaster outside of her mansion, as the family's butler Klein Sieben approaches her.

Klein: "The arrangements you've requested have been made, Miss Weiss. Your father is waiting."

Weiss: "Shall we get going, Klein?"

Klein: "Yes." (answering with a bow)

Weiss and Klein walked in the hallway, and walked by the family portrait. Clockwise they are Jacques Schnee, Weiss, Whitley, Winter, and Mrs. Schnee. Mrs. Schnee has a stern look on her face, Winter and Weiss are frowning, Whitley is smiling, and Jacques has a neutral expression. Weiss looked outside to see her mother Mother Willow Schnee, sitting on a chair facing only a fountain, drinking a cup of red wine.

Weiss: "Day drinking already, Mother? I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

Weiss and Klein soon see Weiss's youngest brother Whitley Schnee, standing in one of the dark shadows of the hallway.

Whitley: "Presenting Weiss Schnee. our future Huntress."

Weiss: "Whitley, what are you doing here?"

Whitley: "I'm worried about you of course. A test this dangerous isn't normal. We wouldn't want you getting hurt. would we?"

Weiss: "No. This is hardly enough to be intimidating. (she and Klein walk pass Whitley, as she than said to him) So just shut up and watch."

Weiss and Klein were both approaching the end of the hallway, towards the door to the Schnee Training Room, as Whitley soon said to himself.

Whitley: "I've always watched you, my fearless, foolhardy sister."

Weiss and Klein finally stepped in the training room, as the door slams shut behind them. Weiss steps forward towards the center of the stadium. From of the two corners of the stadium balcony, Weiss's oldest sister Winter Schnee and their father Jacque Schnee are going to observe Weiss's performance for her test. Weiss than bowed to them both.

Weiss: "I am ready to take my test. Dear Father. Sister. I hope you'll be true to your word."

Jacque: "This is all utterly preposterous."

Winter: "As I recall, this was your idea, Father, Weiss is prepared to do it."

Whitley than arrived, standing next to his father, and also watching Weiss's final test.

Weiss: "I 'am, now, please unleash the Grimm."

Jacque: "Very well, but if I decide it's impossible, you will fail. That will be the end of this foolishness."

Weiss: "I'm not going to fail."

Weiss turns to Klein, as he approaches a lever. Weiss gives him a confident nod, and Klein pulls the lever. a platform floor suddenly began to lit up, as it lowers down to a lower floor. Weiss placed her hand on the hilt of Myrtenaster, as the platform was rising up again, only for an massive suit of armor wielding a huge sword to now be on it, an Arma Gigas. Weiss now draws out her weapon, ready to fight.

The fight starts as the Arma Gigas stands up and swings its massive sword down at Weiss, which she narrowly evades by back-flipping out of the way. Weiss then draws her rapier, Myrtenaster, and darts forward, landing a hit onto the Armor before briefly twirling and landing.

The Arma Gigas swings again, but Weiss darts behind her opponent, landing several slashes on her foe as she spins. The Arma Gigas responds by swinging its sword horizontally at her, but she manages to block the attack, bringing Myrtenaster up just in time. She is, however, unable to prevent herself from being sent sliding back.

Upon recovering from the attack, Weiss looks up just in time to see her foe in the air preparing to strike at her. As the Grimm swings, she quickly dodges, but it persists in its attack, sending her tumbling back. With white energy gathered on her fingertips, Weiss makes a downward motion to the ground, and a white glyph appears underneath her.

She then dashes forward with inhuman speed, preventing the Arma Gigas from landing a blow, and seemingly teleports around it several times with the assistance of her glyphs, striking it many times in the process. However, when she had Myrtenaster glowing red, deflecting a heavy blow from the sword, she was about to strike at it, but is caught off-guard by the subsequent punch, which sends her flying and landed on the floor, wounded.

Whitley: "Uh-Huh..." (said smugly)

Jacque: "Come to your senses yet? Call it off."

Winter: "Not quite yet, she's not done."

Weiss then stands back up and faces the Arma Gigas, blood flowing down the left side of her face. She then assumes her combat stance.

Elsewhere, in the Forever fall Forest, Blake Belladonna is siting on a rock outcrop watching red leaves drift down in the Forest together.

Adam Taurus walks up to her.

Adam: "Blake, it's time."

She slowly turns to Adam.

Blake: "Okay."

The duo started running through the forest.

Blake: "Adam, are we really doing this, alone?"

Adam: "The guards are just mindless drones. The Humans fear the White Fang too much to face us. You're not scared, are you?"

Blake: "Do you think I scare easily?"

Adam: "Hardly, I'm aware of your bravery."

Blake doesn't response to Adam's complement, wanting focus this mission. They've reach a cliff, and stopped by the edge of to see a train rushing through the forest along some tracks.

Adam: "That's the Schnee Dust Company's train. Just think about how mush dust is on board."

Adam and Blake slide down the hill and jump onto the top of the train, digging their weapons into the roof as they land. Upon boarding it the two jump onto another car, Adam slashes at a hatch before lifting it as they enter a car full of AK-130 Androids.

Adam: "Well, this is going to get a little messy."

The Androids activate and circle the duo.

Blake: "Don't have too much fun."

An Android activates the guns on its arms.

Android: UNABLE TO COMFORM I.D. PLEASE STATE AFFILIATION AND PURPOSE.

Adam pulls the trigger on Blush, firing Wilt out of the sheath into the head of the robot. He then dashes forward, catching the sword mid-air before slashing the robot, cutting it clean from neck to under its left shoulder as Adam resheaths Wilt.

Adam: "We're Thieves."

The remaining robots switch their arms to a blade mode and begin charging at Adam and Blake. Two come up behind Blake, but she jumps backwards and uses Gambol Shroud to split them both at the chest. She leaps forward to cover Adam's back as he slices at several advancing robots. Adam uses Blush to fire at the robots as Blake backflips to evade another robot.

They cut down several more robots before one switches its arms into a minigun mode. It fires rapidly at Adam and Blake, but Adam is able to deflect the bullets that get too close. After Adam sheathes Wilt, Blake charges towards the robot and it resumes firing. She is able to deflect the bullets and gets close enough to decapitate the robot. She immediately slices down another robot and cuts off another's legs. She rapidly unsheathes Gambol Shroud to begin dual wielding the sheath and the katana before striking another robot, then leaps into the air and slams it into the floor.

Blake charges towards the remaining robots and begins cutting them down rapidly, slicing off one's arm and shoving her sword through another. She reaches the last robot in the train car, knocks it into the air, then proceeds to slice it several times before landing on the floor. The robot is still in the air when Adam leaps up and kicks the robot out the door of that train car and onto the flatcar ahead.

Back to Weiss Schnee, who is on her knees, alone in a snowy courtyard, facing an ornate fountain that features the Schnee snowflake. The full moon remains broken, snow gently falling down, and a practically cloudless sky... Winter is not pleased as she's approaching her sister.

Winter: "Your Aura can only shield you from once or twice direct attacks at the most. When your Aura is gone another attack will finish you. Those without power will return to dust. That is the law of this world."

Winter leaves Weiss after saying this to her. This was Weiss's memory as a drop of blood falls to the floor of the Schnee Training room, as Weiss still assumes her combat stance. The Armas Gigas proceeds to charge at Weiss, she quickly changes to another slot on Myrtenaster's revolver and stabs the blade into the ground, which sends a wave of ice forward. This freezes one of the Grimm's feet in place, immobilizing it. Weiss than turns the revolver to the red Dust and releases the Dust onto her rapier's blade. The Arma Gigas swinged his sword at her, only for Weiss to quickly jump and landed onto the flat side of the sword, with Weiss now charging towards it's hand. Klein was barly able to dodge the sword, which stuck at a wall with the Arma Giga's hand still held onto.

The Arma Giga become now furious and start to charge at Weiss once more. Only Weiss had created a glyph on the ground, as the Arma Gigas, stepped onto it, and causes the glyph on the ground to explode, launching her foe into the air. Weiss then sends six beams of blue energy at the Grimm, locking it in midair. With one final glyph-augmented leap into the air, Myrtenaster glows with white markings along its blade and Weiss creates yet another glyph, which she uses to dash at the Arma Gigas, cutting right through it. As the Grimm falls through the air, some sort of white energy is emitted from its joints and helm. Weiss lands in a crouch, but stands up as the suit of armor hits the ground and shatters into ice shards.

Klein: "Miss Schnee, you passed, I knew you do it!"

Weiss stood back up and looked at her father.

Weiss: "So Father? Now that I've finished this foolish test, will you let me go to Beacon?"

Jacque was furious and snarled to see that Weiss had succeeded in her final test. Winter turns to him.

Winter: "Well Father?"

Jacque: "Have it your way!"

Jacque than walked away, while Whitley just grinned. Weiss turned Klein, and smiled and she than basked in the bright sunshine from one of the windows. She relieved and happy to be have been strong enough to go to soon go to Vale.

Onboard the Schnee Dust Company train, A number of other robots run towards them from the other end of the flatcar.

Adam hits a couple of robots up into the air, Blake leaps up towards them to slice them up, and Adam partly unsheathes Wilt to knock them away with the hilt. Blake switches Gambol Shroud to its kusarigama-pistol form, throws the sickle part past one of the robots, and pulls on the ribbon while using the pistol shot to launch the blade back towards her, cutting the robot in half.

Adam jumps forward and kicks the upper half of the robot away while it is falling as Blake swings her sickle around to cut down another robot. Blake jumps in the air and swings the sickle blade around in a spherical motion several times using its gunfire, cutting down three more robots and getting the sickle wrapped around the neck of a fourth. Adam leaps forward and slices the fourth robot as Blake fires off the pistol, pulling the robot's upper half into the air.

Rushing forward, Adam slices up six more robots, causing five of them to explode. Blake charges up from behind, cuts off the sixth robot's head, and then knocks another robot up into the air using Gambol Shroud's katana form. She lunges forward as Adam takes down another robot, using the kusarigama form of Gambol Shroud to perform a continuous pinwheel attack that launches two other robots into the air. Adam then fires a shot from Blush to send one of the robots flying back.

Adam jumps up and slices the other robot further up into the air as two robots approaching from behind are kicked into the air by Blake. The three robots are then sliced repeatedly by Wilt, keeping them in the air until Blake jumps up and slices through all three, with one going further up into the air with her. Blake kicks the robot down, while Adam slices another as it is falling then shoots it with Blush as it falls behind him, and the two enter into a second freight car.

Adam opens a box and examines the contents inside, seeing many vials containing blue dust.

Adam: "Perfect. Now we crash the train."

Blake: "But you said this is just a robbery. There are human engineers on board."

Adam: (examining the Dust) "Just human. Not Faunus like us."

Blake: (looking disheartened behind Adam) "Not like us..."

Adam and Blake suddenly turns their heads around as they sees a Spider Droid climbing down from the ceiling of the car.

Blake (anxiously): "Adam."

The Spider Droid swiftly attacks, using its quartet of cannons to shoot at Adam, who either deflects or dodges every shot, using Wilt and Blush. Blake then lunges forward, launching her own attack, only to be head-butted by the massive robot.

As the Spider Droid advances upon her, Adam suddenly unleashes a flurry of blows, each only momentarily stunning his enemy. When he finishes his attack, he takes a moment to glance over his shoulder at Blake. The Droid then kicks Adam away, distracts him with a barrage of cannon fire before moving to crush Blake beneath one of its massive feet. However, Adam quickly moves in, grabbing Blake and fleeing to the other end of the car. After he sets her down...

Blake: "We need to get out of here!"

...The Droid quickly combines its cannons to unleash a massive energy barrage, which sends the trio crashing through a metal bulkhead, and out onto a flatbed car. the Droid begins to close the gap between the two.

Adam: "Blake, Buy me some time!"

Blake: "But That's- Are you sure?"

Adam: "I just need a second. Do it!"

As Blake rushes the Spider, it continuously launches barrages of energy at her, which she swiftly dodges. She then uses Gambol Shroud to divert one cannon, while embedding the blade into the thick armor, allowing her to launch herself far into the air, before swiftly coming back down with two furious slashes from her weapon. She then equips both the sheath and katana form of Gambol before attacking two leg joints and the head in rapid succession, forcing the Spider Droid to stumble. This gives Blake an opportunity to slam her katana into and through the base of the Droid's skull and rapidly open fire, causing no effects other than slight disorientation.

As Blake regroups with Adam, the Droid combines its cannons again.

Adam: "Move!"

Just in time for the barrage to be launched at Adam, who absorbs all of the energy fired at him using his weapon's blade. Adam laughs as his body's red colorings glow intensely, along with a sinister laugh. The Droid leaps at Adam, and when it comes mere inches from impact, Adam unleashes all of his energy in one blow, causing the Spider to slowly recoil and disintegrate.

The droid fires a powerful beam. Adam catches the beam with Wilt. As his body starts to glow, the droid jumps toward him. Adam chuckles then slashes out with his sword, disintegrating the droid and even affecting the trees in the Red Forest causing their leaves to fly into the air.

As Adam walks back towards Blake, he sees her on a separate train car standing near the coupler between the cars. As he reaches out to her...

Blake: "Adam, Goodbye."

She severs the coupler and lets the released cars slow down as she lets the rest of the train continue en-route, as she leave.

Adam: "Blake! You betraying the White Fang? (yelling angrier) Betraying me?"

Blake: ""I'm sorry, I have to find my own path."

As the train was getting farther and farther away from Adam and released cars, disappearing from their sights now. Blake throws out their White Fang flags as a sign that they are no longer part of the organization. Later as the released cars finally comes to a complete halt, more members of the White Fang start to appear, some running on the top of the cars, rendezvousing with Adam.

White Fang Soldier: "Should we go after them?"

Adam: "There's no need. Once they see more about the world, She'll realize that we're in the right."

Several moments later, Yang Xiao Long is shown riding her motorcycle through the streets of Vale. Yang eventually stops in front of a club that is blasting music. As she walks through the club, she sees Roman Torchwick and Jack Plum ending a conversation with Junior, the owner of the club. Jack Plum was taller and older than Roman is with a more tanned complexion, he has a silver rose bob haircut and violet eyes. He wears a loose shirt that is lilac in the front and violet in the back and black pants secured by a black belt with a purple pie belt buckle. The legs of his pants are tucked into knee-high lilac boots with swirling lavender designs on the back, and designs vaguely resembling parts of the a fleur-de-lis sigil on the toes. After Roman and Jack left Junior at the bar with Melanie and Miltia Malachite, Yang makes her way to the bar where Junior stands after he send the two sisters away.

Yang: "Strawberry Sunrise. No ice. Oh, and one of those little umbrellas."

Junior: "Aren't you a little young to be in this club, Blondie?"

Yang (giggles): "Aren't you a little old to have a name like Junior?"

Junior: "So you know who I am. You got a name, sweetheart?"

Yang: "Yes, Junior, I've got several. But instead of sweetheart, you can just call me sir."

She brings her scroll up to his face, showing him a picture.

Yang: "People say you know everything. Tell me where I can find her."

Junior: "I've never seen her before."

Yang than playfully flicks to the next picture on her scroll, which just happens to be a picture that she took coming in him, Roman, and Jack having a conversation.

Yang: "Well you better know, or I'll be more than happy to let this slip to the police and media, if I don't get the answers I want."

Suddenly, Junior's henchmen begin to gather around.

Yang: "Hmm, looks like we have an audience."

Junior "Listen, blondie. If you want to make it out of this club alive, I suggest you let me keep that scroll of yours."

As of the henchmen attempted to take Yang's phone, while she seemed distracted, only Yang caught him off guard instead and grabbed him by tossed him over the bar counter, breaking a few bottles.

Junior: You'll pay for that! Empty this club now! Clear this room with no witnesses!"

He puts on his sunglasses and walks away from her. Yang follows closely behind, as the henchmen start to close in on Yang.

Yang: "Oh Junior, I was just playing with you! Don't be so sensitive! Come on, lets kiss and make up, okay?"

Junior stops and turns around.

Junior: "Huh? Uh, okay."

As he leans in, she punches him in the face sending him flying across the room. Junior was now unconscious, especially when a huge glass bottle fell on top of his head. The surrounding henchmen respond by charging at Yang, who deploys Ember Celica and jumps up into the air only to slam a fiery punch into the ground, sending a ripple through the dance floor, knocking the incoming henchmen off their feet.

As the henchmen get up, Yang charges at one, jumping into the air and performing a somersault kick on her first opponent. She then turns around and uppercuts a second one, following it up with a spinning kick that sends another two tumbling away.

As the rest charge at her, Yang shoots at the first one in front of her and kicks behind her at another. Another henchman swings at her from behind, but she sweeps his legs out from under him and punches him up into the air, only to slam him into the ground. She then takes a couple steps toward an oncoming henchman to jump up and launch herself off of him, allowing her to deliver a flying punch to another henchman. This is quickly followed by her rushing forward as she defeats yet another nearby opponent. As the fallen henchman collapses, he lands on the henchman behind him, sending him stumbling back. He attempts to block the oncoming punch from Yang, but to no avail, as Yang simply breaks straight through her opponent's guard before delivering an uppercut.

She then notices several more assailants approaching from behind and fires a shot, using the recoil to send her flying towards yet another group of enemies. She elbows the first henchman and kicks him away while another attempts to swing at her, but is promptly blocked and shot in the face. Yang then swings around under his arm and punches him once more. This is followed by another spin as she kicks, punches, and kicks him again, with the final hit sending him flying backwards through a glass pillar.

Yang turns around to see the final henchman charge and swing at her. She promptly blocks the blow and punches his chin, stunning him and allowing her to follow up with a flurry of blows that conclude with an uppercut that launches him into the air. Yang then delivers a final punch that sends him flying back.

Upon clearing the dance floor, she spots the DJ pulling out a machine gun before firing down at her from his booth. Yang charges towards the booth, dashing from side to side in order to avoid the incoming fire. Once close enough, she jumps up, firing her shotgun-gauntlets at the floor for additional propulsion. As she lands, she places a hand on the mixing desk before swinging her legs around, kicking the DJ in the face. This sends him stumbling back. Yang then spins and lands with her back facing him, only to fire once more to send her elbow into his face. She then slams his face into the table, picks him up, and launches him off by firing. He lands at Melanie and Miltia Malachite's feet, unconscious, with his "helmet" rolling away.

Miltia: "Melanie, who is this girl?"

Melanie: "I dunno Miltia but we should teach her a lesson."

Yang loads another belt of ammunition into Ember Celica, tossing them in the air and landed perfectly into her gauntlet gun chambers. Yang jumps from the podium, unleashing a barrage of shell-shots in mid-air at the Malachite Sisters, which they evade by backflipping away. After recomposing, the sisters charge at Yang as she lands on the dance floor, continuing her barrage. As the sisters split to opposing sides, with Yang focusing her barrage on Melanie, they begin their counterattack, with Melanie dodging and deflecting Yang's bullets while Miltia takes a swipe at Yang from behind.

Ducking to avoid Miltia's strike at the last second, Yang turns and fires at her, only to have Miltia jump to avoid it as Melanie lands behind Yang and retaliates with a heel-kick. Yang blocks the kick with her gauntlets forcing herself back a distance away from the sisters.

Yang quickly grounds herself and fires a round at them, which Melanie deflects with a frontflip heel-kick off into a pillar. Miltia quickly closes in on Yang and delivers a couple of swipes that Yang defends against, only to have Melanie follow up with a series of jump-kicks while Yang is off-balanced. Blocking each attack, Yang quickly fires a round in response, which Melanie ducks to avoid. Miltia swoops in with a downwards swipe while Melanie sweeps Yang's right leg and finishes with a series of kicks that make contact, launching Yang across the stage.

Yang rolls and quickly regains her footing, firing both gauntlets to propel her back across the stage and landing a hard right punch onto Melanie's face, knocking her down. While Melanie lies stunned on the floor, Yang confronts Miltia in close-range melee combat, with Yang firing rounds with each punch thrown and Miltia defending with her claws. However, Yang overwhelms her with a low kick, a series of boosted body shots, and a final round from Ember Celica, blasting Miltia off the stage.

Melanie finally recovers from Yang's punch just in time to see her sister get flung into a pillar overhead. Yang confronts her by firing off a round at close-range, which Melanie again avoids by backflipping. After avoiding another round into the ground, Melanie retaliates with an upward leg swipe before kicking a third round point-blank in order to deflect it. Both Yang and Melanie resort to close-range melee combat, with Yang throwing boosted punches and blocking with her gauntlets while Melanie kicks and swipes as she defends with the blades of her boots. A hard side-kick pushes Yang away as each take a second of reprieve before Melanie closes in on Yang.

Feinting with her boots to keep Yang off-balanced, Melanie shifts herself along the stage, forcing Yang to back-step continuously. This leaves Yang unable to ground herself while defending against Melanie's feints and kicks. A longer series of kicks from Melanie allows Yang to finally ground herself, spin to dodge Melanie's last kick while retracting Ember Celica, and land a body blow with her left elbow. Yang quickly grabs Melanie's right arm and uses it to twist and spin the rest of Melanie's body, using the built-up momentum to land a final devastating jump-kick to Melanie's face.

The holograms in the club suddenly turn off and a spotlight shines on Junior as he brings out his Bazooka.

Junior: "You're gonna pay for this."

Junior fires off a stream of rockets from his weapon's bazooka form, and Yang backflips and siderolls to dodge several. Upon righting herself, Yang then destroys several more incoming rockets with well-placed shots from Ember Celica.

Advancing, Junior changes his weapon to its bat form and strikes at Yang multiple times, with the latter managing to defend and block all but one, causing her to recoil and stumble. This gives Junior an opening to hit her in the face, sending her flying backwards into a glass structure.

Yang pushes herself to her feet, her hair ablaze and shining gold. She then slams her fists together, creating a minor shockwave, before dashing forward. Junior arms his rocket launcher and starts firing wildly, each shot missing as Yang sidesteps and evades them. She quickly closes the gap between them, dodging a strike from Junior before laying into him, landing seven punches, each amplified by her weaponry. The final punch sends Junior flying back, his weapon broken in two, one piece of it in one hand, a lock of Yang's hair in the other.

The sight enrages Yang, who promptly engulfs herself in a huge explosion of fire, which shatters the dance floor. She then charges Junior at a rapid speed, landing one final blow square in the jaw, which sends him flying through a window into the street, incapacitated, ending the fight. He flies out the window, landing in front of Tai Xiao Long and the family corgi Zwei. Yang comes outside shortly after.

Tai: "Yang? Is that you?"

Yang: "Dad?"

Tai: (arms crossed, with an upset look) "What are you doing here?"

Yang sighs.

Yang: (Sighs) "It's a long story."

Elsewhere in the streets of Vale, Ruby and Cinnabar was walking along the sidewalk. with her hood up and her headphones, while both of them we're enjoying the sights in the city. Cinnabar was moongazing as always by an open park of Vale for a better sighting of the moon, only for Ruby dragging him away from moongazing by the sleeve.

Ruby: Come, Cin! You can always see the moon back at home, there so much to see here! Remember our plan!

Cinnabar: Okay, Okay Ruby!

Ruby and Cinnabar soon continued their long walk down the bright, crowded, and busy sidewalks of Vale.

Ruby: "I forgot how big the city of Vale is! It's way more fun than Patch Island. (both rocking out in front of a T.V. setup showing Black Rock Shooter.) They've got the best music, (both sitting in a café, sipping a cup of tea, while Cin was having a muffin) oh and the cafés and (both struggling to hold onto an standard battle-axe in a weapons store) and the weapons! I don't know how we're gonna see it all. Oh, and we still have get a gift for Yang, too?

Cinnabar: "Yeah-"

Ruby & Cinnabar: "Oh?"

Ruby and Cinnabar suddenly noticed a Dust shop across the holographic traffic signs, called From Dust Till Dawn.

Ruby: "The Dust shop still open! Come on!"

Ruby and Cinnabar quickly ran into the shop with great excitement, and had a look around the store. Showing an assortment of glass jars, containers and boxes, likely meant for containing Dust. They also offer magazines and a newspaper called "Vale Times". Ruby was very happy to have noticed one of the magazines.

Ruby: "The next issue of Weapon Magazine! Oh this is the coolest!" (picks up and reads the magazine) "Patch Island doesn't have this yet. Vale really does have everything, huh?"

Cinnabar: Yeah, they sure do, I'm just gonna check out the Dust here, just stay here, okay?"

Ruby: "Kay." (busy reading, with her headphones on)

He smiled, seeing how happy his little sister was. Cinnabar was soon checking out the Dust crystals in the display, eyeing at the Dust crystals.

Inside of the hotel, Yang was reading her notice of acceptance to Beacon.

Yang: "We are delighted to accept you into our school." (walking into the next room) "Hey Dad, did Ruby and Cin come home yet?"

Tai: "Nope, Not yet."

Yang: "It's not like them to be gone for so long, that's weird."

Tai: "Rumor has it, They're secretly buying you a going-away present, Yang."

Yang: "Dad! Why would you tell me that, I've been trying to play dumb."

Tai: "I like presents! It's gonna be alot harder to regard as a family after you're gone.

Yang: (petting Zwei) "I really hope Cin and Ruby will be okay without me around. She tends to get caught in her own little world sometimes, you know? And Cin, well... At least they'll still have each other."

Tai: "A little independence will do them good. I love that you three support each other, but they can't rely on you for everything, you know?"

Yang: "I know, I know, you're right Dad."

Tai: (looking at the clock saying 18:05) "Like being on time for instance. Till then, you still need to do explaining back at Junior's."

Yang: "Oh yeah... (replied, nervously) That..."

In one of the dark alleys of Vale, Roman Torchwick, Jack Plum, and four of their henchmen head down an alley from the shadows. They stop behind the two, Roman, who reignites his cigar without touching it and grins before walking down the road, as they make their way towards the shop; From Dust Till Dawn.

Roman, Jack and his henchmen enter the shop. The henchmen look around and at the Dust crystals in the display when Jack pushes Cinnabar out of his way and approaches the elderly shopkeeper.

Shopkeeper: "Yes?-"

Roman pushes the young buyer out of his way and approaches the elderly shopkeeper.

Roman: (flicking his cigar) "Do you have any idea how hard it is... to find a Dust shop open this late?"

One of the henchman points his gun at the shopkeeper, forcing the shopkeeper and Bleu to rise his hands and frightening nearby citizens to run out of the store.

Shopkeeper: (raising his hands) "P-please! Just take my Lien and leave!"

Roman: "Shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh, calm down, we're not here for your money. (to the henchmen) Help yourselves and grab the Dust."

A henchman opens a case and removes one of several cylinders, which the group uses to take Dust from the tube containers on the walls.

Jack: (placing another open case on the display to the shopkeeper) "Crystals. Burn. Uncut." (chuckling wickedly)

Another henchman noticed Cinnabar's wristband bracelets.

Henchman 3: "Quite the jewelry you got there, now be a good boy and hand it over."

The Henchman grab hold of the Young man's wrist, trying to take his bracelet off him.

The shopkeeper proceeds to fill the case.

As another henchman goes for another tube, he hears the muted This Will Be the Day song from the girl's direction, and unsheathes his sword.

Ruby (reading): "The first stage of a weapon's transformation should combine both offensive and defensive strategies." "Yeah Totally!"

Henchman 2: (pointing his sword at her back) "Alright kid, Hands up! (no response) Hey, I said hands in the air! You got a death wish or something!?"

He goes over to her and turns her around, the hood dropping to reveal a surprised Ruby Rose wearing headphones. He motions for her to lower them.

Ruby: (doing so) "Yes? Can I help you?"

Henchman 2: "I said, put your hands in the air, now!"

Ruby: "Are you... robbing me?"

Henchman 2: "Yeah!"

Ruby: "Ooohhh..."

Roman is waiting for his men to finish the heist when a "Hey!" and "Hyah!" are heard, and the threatening henchman flies past him. Roman calmly motions for another to handle Ruby.

The Henchman holding Cinnabar's wrist was caught off guard for that moment. Not letting this window of opportunity pass, as the henchman had his hand on Cinnabar's wrist. Cinnabar started to use his semblance; as his aura gives off a grey glow and the red dust crystal from his bracelet started to glow brightly, burning the henchman's hand, which he'd quickly let go waving and cooling down his hand.

Henchman 3: Ouch, you bast...

The henchman's words we're cut short, as he's in shock to see Cinnabar's skin was now covered in a red transparent scales; cracking his knuckles.

The henchman quickly pulled out his sword and rushes towards Cinnabar...

...only for once his red sword clashes at Cinnabar's new scales; and force and impact bounces back to him, strong enough for him to crash through one of the store's window.

Henchman 1: "You punk!" (raising his gun at them both) "Freeze!"

Ruby than suddenly dash with an inhuman speed in, leaving trails of rose petals in her wake, passing through the henchmen, Jack, and Roman, with Cinnabar follows after Ruby.

Roman: "Wow, a Semblance. (sarcastically) Is she a Beacon Academy student?"

Ruby crash through the window. Cinnabar quickly runs outside to be at Ruby's side. The other men look outside as Ruby gets up and unfolds Crescent Rose into its scythe form, & Cinnabar draws out his twin swords Ddraig Goch and Ddraig Wen. Ruby twirling the weapon around, striking it into the ground and turning off her headphones.

Jack: Okayyy... (to his remaining henchmen) Get em!

The henchmen head out of the shop and run at Ruby, who spins around on top of her scythe and kicks the first approaching criminal in the face. She gets Crescent Rose out of the ground and fires it off to hit another one with the butt of her weapon, sending him flying.

While Cinnabar's semblance Dragon Scales protected him from the fiery blasts of the henchmen's guns, as some of the shoots reflected back at them, he was close enough get a sweeping attack with Ddraig Goch, extending to reach and slashing at the Henchman's arm, dropping his gun and spins around, using Ddraig Wen to trip the attacker down to the ground.

She fires again and brings the side down on one attacker and dodges the next's gunfire with her rifle's speed, getting close enough to knock him into the air and follow him upwards so she can beat him away to Roman's feet.

Roman: "You were worth every cent. Truly, you were." (to Ruby and Cinnabar, dropping his cigar and crushing it with his cane as approaching police sirens are heard) "Well, Reds, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening, and as much as I'd love to stick around..." (raises his cane and opens the bottom to reveal a rifle with a cross grid) ...I'm afraid this is where we part ways."

Roman unleashes a purple blast at Ruby and Cinnabar, a purple smoke bomb explodes, and they've both coughing. As the smoke starts to clear up, Roman and Jack isn't there.

Cinnabar: Where did they go?

Ruby looked around to spot Roman, and his Melodic Cudgel's hook to climb up a nearby building. While Jack had his two weapons, Good Boy I and Good Boy II, a pair of wrist gauntlets each containing a concealed assassin's blade for close range combat. One gauntlet houses a handgun for medium to long range fire, while the other houses a double barrel shotgun for close range fire. But he could also use them as grappling claws, as he's close behind Roman.

Ruby: (to the onlooking shopkeeper) "You okay if we go after them?"

The shopkeeper gives a short "Uh huh", and Ruby sets off, with Cinnabar following after her. His crimson aura started appear, as his purple soles & pale green lining of his shoes started to glow...

Cinnabar: Ruby!

Roman and Jack makes it to the roof, with Ruby and Cinnabar high-flying again and landing right behind Them.

Jack: Cramps! Cramps!

Cinnabar: Hey!

Ruby: "You won't get away!" You Thieves!"

Roman: (stopping at the edge) Persistent...

Ruby and Cinnabar readies to fight them both, but a getaway Bullhead rises up blinding Ruby and Cinnabar with it's spotlights and opens the hatch to allow Roman and Jack inside.

Roman: (turning around and holding up a red Dust gem) End of the line, Reds.

He throws it out at their feet and fires at them, resulting in a large explosion.

Yang, Tai, and Zwei, meanwhile we're all hurrying down the streets come looking for Ruby and Cinnabar. Zwei was snuffing around for them, and soon caught a scent, and ran after it.

Tai: "They're close!"

Yang: "Ruby, Cin, where have you wandered off to?"

Tai and Yang soon see several victims lying on the ground outside the Dust Shop, two officers we're talking to the shopkeeper, and Zwei barking at the crooks.

Tai: "What's going on?"

Yang: "What in the world did you two do this time?"

Suddenly all of them soon heard and saw the explosion created by Roman.

Roman: Whoa-ho-ho-ho! (stops laughing when he sees something on the roof) Huh?

A woman in a purple cape is now in front of Ruby and Cinnabar, casting a circle of protection over them with her wand. As Ruby and Cinnabar looks on, Glynda Goodwitch waves her weapon and summons several streaks of purple at the craft. Roman is thrown around in the back until he and Jack goes to the cockpit, where a woman in red, her face unseen, is struggling with the controls.

Jack: We got a Huntress!

The woman gets up and heads toward the back as Roman takes the controls. While Jack panicky sits beside Roman, stuggling to get his sitbelt.

Glynda glows purple for a moment and aims another blast above the craft, resulting in a dark storm-cloud right over the jet.

Roman: The hell...?

With a flick of her wand, large jagged hail starts falling that pummels the jet and even breaks through the window, narrowly missing Roman's head.

The woman reaches the back and her arms and chest light up like fire, aiming a burst of energy at Glynda. The Huntress blocks it, but the flame splatters behind her and glows hot with the enemy's raised hand. Glynda back-flips out of the explosion, which destroys part of the roof, and magically gathers the shards to create a large arrow, which she throws at the craft. The fiery woman shatters the arrow with several blasts, but it reforms just in time to hit the side of the jet due to Roman's quick aerial lean. The wreckage separates and reshapes into more arrows that encircle the jet, but the woman summons several glowing rings around herself that expand and destroy the shards.

Ruby and Cinnabar, both finally acting, reverts her scythe into its rifle form, and reverts his swords into it's firearm forms, to both fire at the woman, who blocks each shot and creates several blazing circles around her two opponents. Glynda telekinetically pushes Ruby and Cinnabar and rolls themselves out of the explosion's radius; looking up to see the hatch close and the craft fly away.

Ruby: (looking at Glynda) You're a Huntress! (putting on a pleading, awe-stricken face) Can I have your autograph?!

Ruby's amazed face turn to one of shame as Glynda, with a tablet computer, paces around the table Ruby and Cinnabar is seated at, right underneath a bright light in the otherwise dark interrogation room.

Glynda: "Did you both not stop to think about how your actions put others in great danger? And on top of that, was your Auras even strong enough to stop all the attacks?"

Ruby: "Well uh... no."

Glynda: I hope that you two realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, young lady and man. You put yourselves and others in great danger.

Ruby: They started it!

Cinnabar: Yeah! And she roped me into this!

Cinnabar pointed at Ruby, trying to get himself out of more trouble, only for Ruby to punch Cinnabar's arm in response.

Cinnabar: Ow!

Ruby: You fought them too!

At the front office of the police station, a man in green steps inside, and the officers salute to him.

Chief: "Oh sir, Professor Ozpin!"

Ozpin: "Just stopping by for a quick visit."

Yang, her father, and Zwei we're at the waiting room for Ruby and Cinnabar.

Ozpin: "Good evening, Tai."

Tai: (Standing up) "Professor! Uh..."

Ozpin: "Don't worry." "I merely wish to speak with your daughter and Son for a little while." (walking pass Yang)

Yang: (standing up next to her dad) "Uh, is that who I think it is?"

Tai: "Yep, That the head of Beacon Academy."

Glynda: If it were up to me, you'd both be sent home... With a pat on the back... (she notices Ruby's smile) ...And a slap on the wrist." (she demonstrates with her riding crop, which Ruby barely avoids as she gives out an "Eeek! and Cinnabar gave out a small "Eep!") But... there is someone here who would like to meet you both.

Glynda moves out of the way so a surprised Ruby and a surprised Cinnabar can see a man in green come through the doorway, holding a mug and a plate of cookies.

Ozpin: Ruby & Cinnabar Rose (leans in to look at her face) You... have silver eyes.

Ruby: Uh, um...

Ozpin than noticed Cinnabar's face as well.

Ozpin: You both do.

Ruby & Cinnabar: Uh... (In unison)

Ozpin: So! Where did you learn to do this? (gesturing with his head at the tablet showing Ruby's and Cinnabar fighting)

Ruby & Cinnabar: S-Signal Academy.

Ozpin turned his attention to Ruby.

Ozpin: They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?

Ruby: Well, one teacher in particular.

Ozpin: I see...

He puts the cookies on the table in front of Ruby and Cinnabar. They both tentatively picks one up, eats it in a single bite, and then, not seeing any rebuttal, shovels the rest into their mouths.

Ozpin: It's just that I've only seen one other scythe-wielder of that skill before. A dusty, old crow...

Ruby: (mumbles through her full mouth) Oh! That's our uncle!

Cinnabar: Yeah, Our uncle! (mumbles through his full mouth)

Ruby: (she then swallows and wipes her mouth, embarrassed) Sorry. That's our Uncle Qrow! He's a teacher at Signal. I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now, I'm all like— Hooowaaah! Witchaaaa! (proceeds to make some karate-style poses and noises)

Ozpin: So I've noticed. (placing his cup on the table as he leans in, then sits down opposite Ruby) And what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors?

Ruby: Well... I want to be a Huntress.

Ozpin: You want to slay monsters?

Ruby: Yeah! I only have two more years of training left at Signal! And Cin here has only one more year of training at Signal! And then We're going to apply to Beacon! (talking faster and faster with her enthusiasm growing) You see, our sister's starting there this year, and she's trying to become a Huntress, and I'm trying to become a Huntress 'cause I wanna help people. Our parents always taught us to help others, so I thought, Hey, I might as well make a career out of it! (giggles) I mean the police are alright, but Huntsmen and Huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting and cool and really, gosh, you know! (flips out at the last part, staring at the two with a wide, crazy smile)

Glynda and Ozpin study her.

Ozpin: Do you know who I am?

Ruby: You're Professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster at Beacon.

Ozpin: (smiling) Hello.

Ruby: Nice to meet you.

Cinnabar: Uh.. Hi (lightly waved his hand)

Ozpin: (turning back at Cinnabar.) Do not think, I'm only impressed with your sister's skills, you've also shown quite swordsmanship, with two swords. Not to mention quite a powerful semblance, young man.

Cinnabar: Well.. um, uh... thank you, Our Dad taught to use them.

Ozpin: Indeed, and you too want to slay monsters?.

Cinnabar: I... I just want to be strong enough to protect most important to me. (looking at Ruby)

Ozpin: A very fair and admirable reason, many monsters have truly hurt too many good people out there, and we'll always welcome those who wish to grow strong but also wise enough to use our own gifts to share with others, and inspiring others with their bravery, heart, wisdom, and humility. May we learn that working together, we can surely accomplish more than each of us can alone... So... You two want to come to my school?

Ruby: More than anything.

Cinnabar: "Wa-Wait, What? Now?"

Ozpin: (exchanging glances with Glynda, who shows her disapproval with a "Hmmph" before he turns back to Ruby & Cinnabar) Well, okay.

Ruby smiles, wide-eyed and open-mouthed, while Cinnabar was just dumb-founded.

Outside the interrogation room, Yang is delighted to know that she can attend school with her little sister and her baby brother.

Yang: "You're coming with me? I can't believe it!" (giving her siblings a bear hug)

Ruby: "Yeah. Professor Ozpin said he'd let us skip ahead to get in."

Yang: "Amazing! Now I can go to Beacon together! Aren't you happy, Cin?"

Cinnabar: It's... just alot to take in.

Elsewhere Ozpin and Taiyang we're standing outside of the police station.

Ozpin: "They're gifted, Taiyang, she reminds me of you and the rest of team STRQ."

Tai: "She's still just a child, though... And Cin..."

Ozpin: "All birds eventually leave the nest."

Tai: "Yeah, yeah, I know, I just never thought they leave together, all three of them."

Elsewhere outside the kingdom of Vale, a small farmland was mostly demolished by several huge grizzly bear-like Grimms Ursa Minors. However high in some trees, Blake Belladonna easily swing through tree to tree, with Gambol Shroud in its Kama form with a ribbon, making it grappling hook, while carrying her backpack. Blake soon noticed and finds an abandoned wooden house, while in disrepair, was still standing good enough for a temporary shelter. Blake saw an opening on top of the roof, and went inside the attic to rest for after traveling through Forever Fall Forest. As Blake set her backpack and opened it to take out some apples to eat, her scroll suddenly ringed. She took it to soon see in shock, an Notice of Acceptance into Beacon Academy.

Blake: "Notice of Acceptance... Now I... now I can take a different path."

Tears of joy started to appear in Blake's eyes.

It was morning now, at the front of the Schnee Manor, Weiss was standing by the gates, with Klein seeing her off for her departure.

Klein: "Your remaining luggage has been sent to Beacon, Miss Schnee."

Weiss: "Thank you Klein, I'd better go."

Klein: "Would you wait just a little bit longer?"

Weiss: "Looks like Winter was... too busy to come, and of course, Father and Whitley couldn't be bothered to see me off. But... I'm really happy that you came to say goodbye to me, Klein. Thank you so much for everything."

Klein: "Please do take care of yourself, Miss Schnee. I am certain you will become a fine huntress, remember who you are and will carry on the legacy of Master Nicholas. I believe in you."

Weiss smiled happily from Klein's words of encouragement, and make her way to Beacon with her luggage.

Ruby and Cinnabar was placing a bouquet of flowers on their mother's grave.

Ruby: "It's time for us to go, Mom."

Cinnabar: "Time to become Huntress and Huntsman."

Finally, the day comes as young students we're now at a docking bay of the Airship station, steeping inside the cabin of the airship. Blake was in a hurry to get onboard, but she able to make in time.

Blake: "Phew! I made it!"

She noticed her reflection from the window, and smiled for how much she'd accomplished so far. As Weiss was pushing along her stacks of luggage inside the cabin.

Weiss: "Phew... Pushing my own luggage?"

Weiss soon looked at her refection also, and smiled for her accomplishments too. Elsewhere Ruby, Cinnabar and Yang we're saying their goodbyes to Tai and Zwei at the docking bay. With Cinnabar holding both hands on the shoulder straps of his backpack.

Ruby: "Thanks, Dad! Okay! For you and Mom and Uncle Qrow, I'll try my hardest... Not much time for friends though. But I can't wait! I'll be as good as the best Huntsmen and Huntresses ever! I've dreamed about this my whole life!"

Cinnabar: "Um... What she said." (pointing at Ruby with his thumb)

Tai: "haha, That's the spirit. But remember, you don't have to overdo it to be the best. I'm your dad, and I'm proud of you just the way you are. You got it?

Yang: "We know, Dad! We should really get going."

Tai: "Okay, Write to me, Yeah?"

Ruby: "Hm." (nodding "yes")

Cinnabar: "Uh hum! Uh hum!" (nodding "yes" too)

Yang: "See you later!"

Zwei barks as the airship flies up high. Tai watches the airship leave as well. For soon many new students like Pyrrha Niko, Lie Rin, Nora Valkyrie, an Air-sick Jaune Arc, Bloo Grijalee, Rukmini Tara, Leandra Nesneia, Blake, Weiss, Yang, and Ruby will starting their first semester at Beacon Academy to learn of becoming Huntsmen and Huntresses.

The woman's voice is heard again:

But even the most brilliant lights

will eventfully flicker and die.

And when they are gone...

darkness will return.

So you may prepare your guardians

of the light, but take heed.

There will be no victory in strength.

...

A man's voice is heard:

But perhaps victory is in the simpler things.

That you've long forgotten...

Things that require a smaller, more honest soul.

An older voice is heard:

While other souls that we're never meant to be there... would appear.

Making the smallest choices into create grand changes.

It took a while, I've finally finished my 1st new chapter of RWBY & CNBR!

I've decided to call the Owl Grimm from the fairy tale Stygian, after the Stygian owl and their infamous red eyes from reflecting lights. With some other new Grimm like the mantis and eel in the anime opening, I might have some new Grimm appearing in some chapters.

Jack Plum's weapons Good Boy I and II we're inspired by 'Azure Talons' - RWBY OC Weapon Commission, made by DenalCC1010, with original concept design and creative direction from Deadmaninc285.

I've finally created new improved semblances, in which would love and hope to might see my semblances appear in the Existing Semblance of the rwbyfanon wiki.

Profiles are also in my DeviantArt page, and be updating them both here at times.
