Chapter 4

The Gods cometh

Sasuke couldn't hold his irritation in the least. No, he was beyond angry and annoyed compared to the weeks prior. Ever since their near-death experience at the hands of the Basilisk, the class had become more and more enamored with their powers and started to either learn to draw them out more or just learn to be a greater burden. It was true that he respected some of them and a few of them as there, the rest couldn't hold value to him. More, Sasuke had strong resentment toward the fact they were thrown into this newfound mess due to Kouki and his arrogance.

FlashBack

"General we have returned from the plains victorious!"

The general smiled down at Kouki and the others and noticed there was minor tension in the Uchiha family.

From what the others have said it was due to the missing child that didn't appear alongside them during the appearance in the capital and while he did have his scouts looking for him he doubt they would find him. If he was as resourceful as the family believed then he was probably in the midst of another empire's grasp and he might be making his own head waves. He sighed,

'Not like I can tell them that because if I do who knows how the family will react.'

The General always thought summoning the children to fight their war was a horrible idea but the king and the church viewed it as necessary and something that was ordained by their god so who was he to question? But still, he could see that the Uchiha family was not blind to the state of the world and was questioning everything along with being secretive about their levels and skills. While he could order them to show him, he decided against this as the last thing he needed to possibly start a fight that could tear the hero party apart and he was not about to do that.

'With the Goddess of Fertility still having issues with us sending the children out and using them as warriors in our battles the last thing we need is more descension.'

"Good I'm glad," The general smiled and decided to focus on his new orders. "Since you kids have managed to handle yourselves well I have one final assignment for all of you before we can get to the main objective of helping us in the war against demons." He held up a map and marked a certain point in the plains, "Here is your target tomorrow."

"What is it?"

The general turned to Mikoto, he could see the annoyance in her eyes and she didn't want to go into this situation blind.

"This is the location of a Dungeon. We have been unable to breach the final floor due to the guards and adventurers saying the monster down there is incredibly powerful and not something they can handle. We have been trying to conquer this dungeon for years with no luck which is why the King thinks that you all might be able to."

"Why us?"

The general looked at Sasuke now who was looking on wearily, he really didn't trust them did he?

"Between the varied skills of your party and the power that you all have gained, I'm fairly confident to say that you can handle almost anything that is down there. It is one monster with probably a unique element so be ready for anything and everything understood?"

The group nodded their head but Sasuke sighed,

'This is going to be a pain in the ass isn't it?'

Flash Back Ends

Sasuke was right, it was annoying. Not only that most of the party had come into the midst of this fight but they were disorganized as fuck. They just couldn't work together effectively and the mages were almost hitting the melee fighters and the healers were being wasteful on minor wounds they could just use potions for rather than wasting their mana.

They had cleared out most of the floors and they were reaching what he could guess was the final floor given that it had a giant barrier blocking them from entering. More, he could tell while the monsters before were powerful this one had an aura even greater than the others by a large margin.

'It must be at least LV 60. This is not good, most of us are not trained and if this thing fights uniquely then we are going to be overwhelmed.'

Kouki turned to the group and shouted,

"We are on the final floor, everyone! Let's get ready for a grand battle!"

The kids all cheered and Sasuke could only shake his head while his brother too rolled his eyes and his mother was frowning.

"Children really shouldn't be so reckless."

Sasuke agreed.

The barrier broke, and soon everyone entered the room, while not massive it was big enough for the group to divide into two while waiting for the creature in question.

Sasuke was tense and already had his hand on his sword and was channeling his mana into his hand ready to cast out his lighting at a moment's notice.

Itachi had a kunai and some talismans ready in his off-hand.

Mikoto drew her two swords and looked around the room for the slightest distortion.

The group saw a purple hole open in front of the group, out of the portal emerged was a tall creature. What they could make out was that his skin was like granite; cracks showing all over his body. In his right hand, he was carrying a long curved scimitar sword, long white hair, and pointy ears with his eyes black as the darkest pits.

The creature in question walked up to them slowly, Sasuke pulled out his plate and all he saw was,

What? Sasuke didn't understand this and why it seems like this creature had no profile as he was able to read all the creatures on the surface. Putting this info to the side he saw Kouki take a deep breath,

'Please don't make a speech, please don't make-,'

"Creature today we claim this dungeon in the name of Humanity!"

'Fuck me.' Sasuke quickly readied his blade and not surprisingly it was most of the melee fighters in the front, most of them from his classroom while the rest came from the other classroom while the magic casters and healers were in the back.

The creature seemed to acknowledge their presence now as it turned to Kouki and it just stared for a second.

In a blur, it crossed the distance of half the arena in under a second and with a wild swing, slammed his blade into Kouki's who had barely enough time to block the strike. This moment allowed the creature to push him back slightly.

The creature then came back around with another wild swing straight down sending him almost to the floor with the amount of power that was being generated. His knees could be seen shaking and buckling under the power of the creature that just stared at him with pure boredom.

Sasuke gritted his teeth when he saw Kouki's friend rush the creature,

"I'll use this, my Herculean Strength!"

He quickly rush the creature and threw a powerful punch at the monster aiming for its head that was tilted downward.

But it almost glided around his punch with its entire body appearing behind the man.

Ryutarou tried to react to the creature by throwing another punch at him but sadly it failed as the creature just backstepped slightly making him off-balance from his punch.

The creature jumped away from the group after seeing a barrage of fire and lighting spells flying straight at him.

It glided back across the room and just tilted its head.

"Damn it!" Kouki gritted and quickly took his stance and shouted, "I'm coming for you we will free humanity!"

The creature didn't respond to his comment and just waited for him to come close.

HERO SLASH!

The creature seeing the attack tilted its head before disappearing in another glow of purple causing the slash to miss completely.

"Huh?" He looked around the room, "Where did it-,"

Sasuke shoved the teen when a blade was coming down directly for his head to split him in half. But luckily, Sasuke had saved the arrogant idiot before anything could truly happen to him.

Now, the creature's attention was on him and it was more curious, so it quickly took a few swings at the black-haired boy. But he was able to parry away or dodge the strikes completely while even landing some of his own against his hardened skin. Sasuke grunted seeing that his attacks were having no effect on him,

'Okay, plan B.'

Channeling Lighting into his hand he rolled under another of the creature's swings and quickly plunged the lighting fist forward,

Chidori!

The creature screamed in pain from the powerful lighting now coursing through its body and soon pulled itself free of the boy.

The group saw the creature now had a hole in its chest and it was showing the first signs of anger. It quickly lifted its hand up and within seconds rocks were pulled out of the ground and started spinning slowly around it.

Itachi seeing the danger quickly threw some talismans at the creature which landed at its feet and it looked.

Itachi held two fingers whispering,

Explosive Talisman.

The pieces of paper ignited and soon a massive explosion surrounded the creature making the stones fall to the ground. The creature was now on his knee with the sword in the ground to help stabilize himself.

Kouki seeing the chance quickly shouted,

"Fire all the spells we got at it! Give it everything you got!"

Sasuke saw the creature glowing purple and the aura expanding outward and he realized what it was doing.

"Shit! Everyone stop!"

The purple energy was released into the ground and through the room, everyone soon felt their bodies get heavier and most were on their knees or their stomachs due to the power that was being released.

Sasuke was on his knees and grunting,

'Fuck even at level 45 I can't stand it! This thing, it is something else! It has to be Gravity Magic but I didn't think that was a thing in this world. That was my mistake, never assume!'

Sasuke tried to look up at the creature but he couldn't see its face as now the creature was holding his hand up while his sword was stuck in the ground.

It was continuously releasing a pulse of purple energy through the room and now opening up what looked like black portals from his magic and he could sense something coming from it.

'If we don't do something we are going to be in trouble!'

Itachi who was struggling to look the creature in the eye decided he needed to do something so powering up his eyes he looked directly into the creature's eyes.

A scream erupts from the creature and soon is holding his hands to his face. It just waved its head around wildly, not sure what was happening and not sure how to stop it.

The sword stopped pulsing and soon, Mikoto tired of this rush through the crowd leaving a small dent in where her feet used to be. In a single motion, she had brought both of her twin's blades down in a criss-cross strike and soon the creature shook for a few seconds before its body crumbled.

Leaving nothing but stone remains of its body and the dark purple energy from before being released from the creature's remains.

Mikoto sighed and turned to everyone and saw most of the party was okay but a lot of them looked worse for wear due to the surprising fight and the near-death experience they almost had.

Mikoto saw something lingering around her body and saw the purple energy from before quickly enter her own body and she could feel something changing.

The energy disappeared as quickly as it came, and Mikoto had no time to figure it out as the dungeon soon glowed in bright white light. Everyone covered their eyes but soon, the entire group found themselves back outside on the surface with most of them noticing the general standing there with a proud smile on his face.

Kouki looking at him smiled and said,

"Dungeon conquered sir! We managed to slay the creature inside and now the dungeon is free to be explored!"

Sasuke growled,

"Kouki, how exactly did WE clear the dungeon as it seems like you were more useless than anyone else in the party."

The Hero turned to Sasuke and saw the dark glare in his eyes and he just stared back,

"Because as a party we managed to clear this entire place together, while true that your mother managed to kill the creature on the final floor we did all of this as a party."

Ryu nodded his head,

"Yeah man it was a team effort and we do consider you part of this team." He smiled, "So come on let's head back to the capital and party!"

Sasuke just looked at the two of them and the rest of the group. They all had smiles on their faces and were grinning like crazy with some even talking about how fun the party is going to be and the riches that were in the dungeon.

He just couldn't understand it, how were they this naïve and blind? Did they not see how they performed and how they were NOT ready for this? If not for him and his family, the group might have suffered several deaths! And there is no respawn in this world!

"You fucking morons." Sasuke glared harder at the group and finally, his rage took over, "Our performance in that place was shit! None of you realize how badly this went and how we were woefully underprepared for this! First of all; you wasted healing mana when you could use the numerous amount of supplies we have! We could have camped at points instead of rushing through the damn place! Then you rushed in blindly and recklessly to the point that we almost were killed by friendly fire! The final enemy was the least of our worries, he was as powerful as expected but no instead of taking time to evaluate and strategize you make a stupid speech and then charge headfirst without even thinking about what kind of enemy we might be facing! You saw a sword and thought, 'Oh he is a sword user this will be simple' and it wasn't was it you fucking moron?"

He pointed to the general, "HE told us that this is a place never conquered and it was not due to lack of trying. People died in this place! They died pursuing whatever treasures were down there and you are still sitting there thinking that this was a brilliant performance!" Sasuke shook his head, "Well sorry I'm not going to sit here and watch people die because of stupidity and blindness. Consider this me quitting the party and going out on my own!"

"You can't!" Sakura was the first to jump against this, "Sasuke we need you, the whole group needs you! We have to stick together if we ever hope to reach home!"

"Yeah!" Ino jumped in, "I mean you can't honestly say that everything has been bad?"

Sasuke shook his head,

"You two are worthless, you did nothing in that dungeon other than cheer on the others and make criticism of the other girls fighting. Who the fuck are you to judge, your only worth is that of meat shields."

The two were shocked by this comment, Minato frowned,

"You can't act like you didn't rush in there Sasuke?"

"Oh I'm sorry," He turned to the blond asshole, his thoughts, "Was I the one that decided to serve a country we have no knowledge of how this world fucking works I was forced into this position but unlike the rest of you I think, and in that one moment I thought, 'Jeez I don't want him dying might as well go save the tool.'" Sasuke then turned to the rest of them and walked to his mother and brother. "We are leaving consider this our farewell and any of you that are smart and don't have the stomach to kill creatures and people, you should probably find something more constructive to do. Like helping Ms. Aiko or something." Sasuke turned and started walking away from them and heading to the south given that is the opposite direction.

"Sasuke, as your teacher I'm ordering you to stay."

Mikoto glared at Kakashi,

"As his mother, I say we can leave and you can fuck off." Mikoto turned from them, "Sasuke is right there is no point in helping others that can't understand the situation. You can't bring back the dead fools."

Itachi nodded his head and stood in front of the group and the General who was watching everything unfold and opened his eyes to the group and his eyes turned into a three-pointed shuriken.

The entire group soon found themselves staring into space, not being able to move or make a sound and Itachi fell to the ground holding his eyes. The burning sensation was debilitating and he couldn't honestly move much.

Mikoto seeing her son's condition quickly helped him to his feet and soon the three of them departed the area as fast as they could.

This would mark their new adventure in learning about the land and finding their missing family member.

They wondered how he was doing?

Naruto

Traveling down the road, Naruto could honestly say he was bored.

"Why didn't we stay in that town?"

Naruto turned to Tomoe and gave her a blank stare,

"You know as well as I that town was suspicious of us after we mentioned the town was slaughtered by passing monsters. I think the girl and her father knew what we did which is one of the reasons they didn't say anything. Plus, after bringing back his daughter and making her look as proper as we could, I don't think us sticking around was something we could afford. If someone that works for that general or that princess is hanging around in town they will know what we did from the rumor mill."

"Come on you can't really think that?"

Yue shook her head at the dragon,

"Don't be fooled, humans are far more cunning than you think when it comes to knowing what is going on in their country. Especially when it means making sure they stay in power by any means."

Yue knew this from personal experience and she knew that whoever this princess was, she was a cutthroat from the spy's speech he gave before he died.

Tomoe sighed and rubbed the back of her head,

"Okay that makes sense but still, we could at least have taken something more than some basic supplies we put in my spatial space."

Naruto shook his head and just continued down the road with the dragon complaining more about the situation and not being able to use her new sword. He had crafted it from some precious metal they had found by a blacksmith in town and after showing him an outline of the work he agreed to make it while it was not the highest quality of steel Naruto was able to modify it a bit to make it sturdier and shaper. While he can't make weapons of nature like that he could at least alter the properties since she earned it.

The blacksmith however was not impressed in the least and wanted to know how to do that.

Good thing they left.

Back on the road Naruto sensed something in front of them and held his metal arm, and his two companions got tense.

"Something is ahead of us, prepare for combat." Naruto pulled out his pistol from his holster in his left hand and started increasing his pace. At first, started as a minor speed walk and now it is going almost into a full sprint that Tomoe and Yue were trying to keep up with.

Tomoe had an easier time than Yue but she used her magic to start flying to make up the difference in speed and time.

Arriving at the source of the energy Naruto saw something that made his blood boil.

Standing there was a man dressed in some dark gray tunic pants, brown boots, and wearing chainmail around his chest and a small metal helmet with a crest carved into it. The man was standing over a young woman with long brown hair and pointy ears wearing clothes that looked like leaves and a skirt that looked torn up.

The man was smiling wickedly at the woman and ranted,

"Such a shame you're a filthy elf but hey at least you can die knowing you died to a superior race."

The woman while terrified of dying decided to spite the man,

"Superior? Your kind pick on those that can't fight back but the minute you face something beyond you, you turn to others to help whether it be your pitiful gods or other races. You sacrifice others for your own vanity. I'll die knowing my people have managed to humiliate your so-called great General."

The man growled and his eyes turned wide,

"Shut your mouth, you filthy slave! Die!"

The blade was being brought down in a straight line to the woman and she closed her eyes in fear of the piercing of the flesh and the sinister look in his eyes as he killed her.

Bang

Looking up she saw that the sword's tip and most of the blade had shattered in half as something blurred through it. The blade fell helplessly to the ground and the man was shocked.

"W-w-w-what happened!?"

"Man I can't believe you made me waste my mana on you."

The two of them turned and saw an imposing man wearing what looked like a tattered uniform of some sort and was standing there glaring at the man. His golden eyes stared deep into the knights while his two companions brought up the rear and were just bored watching this mess.

"Who are you and how dare you-,"

Bang

The man fell to the ground screaming as another round went off and this time through his knee causing it to explode.

Naruto stared at the man, "You are filth and there is nothing I want to hear from filth." Naruto aimed his gun once more and without a word,

Bang

The man collapsed to the ground with a thud and Naruto sighed turning to the woman in question who was puzzled.

"Are you alright?"

"Um," the woman got to her feet and nodded her head. "Yes, I am, and thank you for the saving sir."

Naruto waved his hand.

"No problem I don't care for assholes that persecute innocent people just because they can. But if I had to guess from that conversation you're an elf who he was hunting to kill to prove his superiority or something?"

The woman lowered her head and shook for a few seconds.

"Yes my people, they are being victimized as we speak and I was running in the hope of finding help but that man followed me all the way out here and I feared that I would die without ever being able to save my people."

Her head snapped up and she stared straight at Naruto with fire in her eyes. He was honestly surprised after seeing her near-death a minute ago.

"Please, sir! We need your help please save my people if you can!"

Naruto rubbed the back of his head and sighed, "Man I hate being a bleeding heart." He smiled, "But then again I wouldn't be me if I didn't help others in need. Alright take me to your people and let's be quick about it."

Elf Village

The villagers were fighting hard and fighting fast, but it seemed to be pointless. The elves were first invaded by small groups of bandits from time to time and while they were annoying they were easy to dispatch. Most didn't have magic resistance and thus they would hit them with spells and get rid of them this way but others were just taken out with arrows and alike.

But now, they were facing a group of trained soldiers and they were proving more trouble than any of the other enemies they have faced in the past. They were at the gates and almost pounding their way through, their arrows weren't doing anything when they used crossbows against them, and worse, they were wearing items that negated most spells or gave them higher resistance or resistance against illusions.

So at this point, they were running into a problem and they were terrified they might breach the gate soon.

"My lady you must flee!"

One of the elven warriors who wore light golden armor around his body and carried a curved sword kneeled before an elven woman with long blond hair, long pointy ears, and is wearing white robes with a staff in her right hand that had a bell at the end of it. The woman differed from most in the village as her eyes were covered by a white cloth and she seemed to be very voluptuous compared to most rivaling what people would call an E-cup.

The woman smiled at her soldier, "All will be well, for we shall be delivered from this battle soon."

The soldier grimaced, the priestess was putting too much faith in their God and on his conscious he couldn't just let this happen. He turned to the nearest set of soldiers, "You lot! Take her out of her now! We need to prepare her retreat!"

The woman's lips twitched into a small frown and she lightly slammed her stick on the ground making her bell jingle ever so lightly. The sound alone almost deafened everyone,

"Our savior shall arrive soon I shall go nowhere," She pointed her staff forward, "Now leave me."

The warrior glared at the priestess but bowed his head before heading out the front door frustrated.

Why couldn't she just leave?

BANG

He felt his ears ring and his body going rigid. What was that peculiar sound? It was not something he had heard before and it was truly concerning did this mean that the humans brought something new to the table.

'How troubling.'

"SIR!" One of the archers waved to him, "The humans are fighting someone else!"

The soldier raised an eyebrow, "Who are they fighting!?"

"No idea sir!" The archer looked down and he could see a bright smile on his face, "But they are winning massively he is slaughtering them as we speak!"

The soldier turned back to the priestess who had a smile on her face and her bell jingled once more due to the breeze blowing on it.
She was right, their God truly had sent their savor.

On the outside of the gate, Naruto had arrived by using Yue's magic to fly allowing them to get to the battlefield as quickly as possible. From what the elf told her that the man that chased her, he was one of maybe 20 men that was attacking. While he was interested in the number of men as it seemed low, it would seem from the description they were well equipped.

So when landing there after the long flight he looked at the knights and sighed getting some of their attention.

"Stranger why are you here and what are those clothes you are wearing!"

Naruto rolled his neck, "It's not really your business, to be honest. But if you must know, I'm the guy who is going to kick all your asses."

The men looked at him and soon they all broke out into laughter at the mere notion that one person was going to defeat them all.

"Well, that is rude." Naruto pulled out one of his guns and held it in his left hand, aimed it at the soldier furthest in the back, and without hesitation, pulled the trigger.

The mana bullet soared through the air, past some of the troops, ripped through the skull of the man, and soon went through another man's face because he was standing right behind him.

The laughter came to an abrupt stop, the men watched as two of their comrades fell to the ground in a thud. The feeling washed over the group and they turned to the teen and he smiled,

"Come on then, don't keep me waiting."

The leading soldier growled, pointing his sword, "Kill this fool! Anyone that dares stand before us opposes the General and the Princess!"

The General and Princess?

'This is going to be fun.' Turning his head he whistled and soon Tomoe and Yue emerged from behind him.

"Do me a favor? Keep at least that idiot alive but for the rest kill them all. I have no need for mindless rabble."

Tomoe smiled and quickly put her hand on her new sword, "Finally some fun." She rushed forward and without hesitation unsheathed her sword in a flash. Doing this, the sword went sailing through the air in bright white light and she appeared behind the soldier leading the charge.

His sword fell to the ground, having been cut in two. His hand soon followed causing a gush of blood to be released onto the ground staining everything nearby. But when he tried to say anything, he found his face coming closer to the ground and within a few seconds he realized,

He had been decapitated.

His body fell with a slump and Tomoe showed them a dark gleam with her eyes glowing red.

"Now who's next?"

Several of the soldiers froze at the sight of her eyes but one shouted,

"Don't be fooled, men! She must be one of those filthy half-breed monsters we have heard about! Quick strike her down before she can get a chance to recover!"

Tomoe smiled what a foolish notion. Pulling out her sword and holding it next to her waist pointing outward she just waited for them to get close.

Yue, on the other hand, held out her hand and most of the men rushing her didn't bother to register this motion and if they did, they might have not tried this strategy.

Fireball

A ball of flame appeared out of her hand the size of a boulder and without waiting the ball rushed forward. The attack quickly engulfed most of the rushing troops leaving them screaming for a short time before soon nothing could be heard at all. The ball of flame vanished after it ran through the rest of the soldiers.

Yue could see that most of the men were charred to the point that they were just decaying skeletons that were burnt so bad the bone had turned to ash. The smell of burnt flesh was in the air, making Yue almost gag as it invaded her nose but she kept it to just a face of disgust.

The leading soldier was quaking, his twenty men were being slaughtered as if they were made of clay and he was not happy about it but he also knew that the General was not going to be pleased.

'He's going to kill me for sure!' The man trembled and he was shaking badly to the point that his armor was rattling around. 'He might make me into his next-,'

His world turned black.

Naruto used the distraction the girls were making and got behind the leading man and knew that due to his shaking and how he was acting, something was on his mind. But this provided an opening to get behind him so as to capture him. While he wanted the girls to do this part, it was more fortunate than he did it as he was not sure if Tomoe knew the word restraint.

As he looked over to the pile of corpses that she had straight out eviscerated he was not sure if it was a good idea to let her have this much action. The bodies were either cut to pieces or they were so destroyed that there was nothing left of them that could figure out which body started and where one body ended.

He really, REALLY needed to talk to her about restraint in situations like this.

Yue on the other hand was standing there just turning the charred bodies into ash and using the wind to send them into the sky to be forgotten.

Not as brutal but kinda morbid.

'Who the hell am I to judge? I did that horrible shit to the village and I'm judging them for this? Man, I need to check myself before I judge.'

Turning to the gates he smiled at the archer watching him, "Hey! One of your villagers said you could use some help so here we are! Can we come in please?"

The archer turned panicky for a second but then he shouted something in a different language he didn't understand, probably the language of their race.

Soon the gate opened and he was greeted by several golden soldiers aiming their weapons at him and some archers having their bows trained on him. Honestly, after what he and his companions did to people that were probably giving them immense trouble he would be hesitant too.

"Tomoe, Yue come on we shouldn't be rude."

The two girls came to his sides and while Yue bowed, Tomoe didn't and she just stared on at the villagers in boredom.

One of the soldiers whispered something but before he could say anything to Naruto, a woman appeared from the crowd. It took everything he had not to stare at her massive breasts that were almost on full display and bouncing without restraint.

"Greetings Chosen One it is an honor to have you here."

"Huh?" Naruto was immensely confused. Chosen one?

"Ah, you are an otherworlder no?"

Naruto's eyes shot up and now he was on edge. His body tensed and his metal arm clicked making the guards around him tighten their grips on their swords.

"How do you know about that?"

The woman smiled, "Because our God had foretold your coming and had shown me that you are the one that shall shape this world as it is meant to be; free from those that would manipulate all as if it is a game of amusement."

Naruto narrowed his eyes, "I don't know about some stupid prophecy or whatnot, but I am interested in how you think I'm this person what proof do you have other than just a lucky guess?"

The woman just continued smiling, "Simple I know that you are from another world for sure."

"Someone told you about my clothes which is a clear indication that I'm not from around here, possibly not the first time someone like me has appeared either so you are just guessing. Next."

"You also have weapons that are not common around here."

"Foreign nation."

"Then how about the Dark Power that dwells inside of you and allows you to defy the natural order of this world?"

"What are you-,"

"The dark energy, the thing that comes out when your rage is at its peak?"

Naruto narrowed his eyes and without hesitation, he drops the soldier face first on the ground and walks briskly to the woman. The guards pointed their swords at him and he could hear the straining of lines for the marksmen in the tree.

"Tell me right fucking now, is your god responsible for my appearance in this world?"

The woman smiled bashfully and with a tap of her staff, she turned slightly from him leaving him to look at her from the side. Whether she can actually see him through her blindfold he was unsure but he was sure that she was standing tall as she had something he wanted.

"Tell me, would you be willing to do something for me?"

Naruto growled, "Don't fuck with me lady, I lost my arm, I have had little to no sleep, I fought a dragon recently, and now I'm stuck in the middle of a country deep in shit and hypocrisy that it is driving me up a fucking wall. So how about you start telling me what I want to know or," He pulled out his pistol and clicked the hammer, "I make you talk."

Soon one of the guards rushed him swinging his blade in a circular motion but when he aimed to slash his neck Naruto raised his right arm in defense.

A crack was heard and everyone saw the priestess hit the man in the face with her staff sending the man to his knees holding his bleeding nose.

"You will do well not to raise your weapon to him again." The woman turned to Naruto, "I understand your frustration and as much as I want to tell you more, we need your help. The General, a ruthless man has been harassing my people for ages but sadly we have not been able to do anything about it."

"So you want me to kill him for you?"

The woman nodded, "Yes, if you were to kill him our village can find some semblance of peace and I would tell you everything you wanted to know about your current situation."

Naruto narrowed his eyes for a second, he hated being manipulated but he decided for now,

'I'll play along.'

"Alright let's go somewhere more private so we can talk to the new 'guest.'" Pointing to the man on the ground.

The priestess nodded her head and motioned him to follow while he dragged the unconscious man by his ankle.
