Normal POV

As soon as Lefiya dropped down into a safer location with nothing but the weak acid, Bell went straight to the monster and opened his hands, pointing it straight to the monster's core.

"Firebolt!! " He shouted as a mix of yellow lightning and red fire shoots out of his hand.

"What's that!? Just now he cast a magic in an instant!! I've never heard something like that, is this some kind of a joke!? "

She couldn't comprehend what happened, she knew magics like Aiz's Ariel/Tempest could be activated in an instant but it takes time to unleash it's full power Lil'Rafaga but Bell's magic is for her in a comepletely different level.

"Lefiya-san! Your magic please! Mine won't hold it down..!" He said as he tried to snap Lefiya back to reality which worked.

"I've changed my mind... I really do hate you" She said with a straight face.

"Despite being lower level adventurer... How could you cheat with magic like that...?" Was what her thoughts were screaming.

"But..." She then closed her eyes and started to channel all of her magic into her staff, creating a giant yellow circle around her.

"I'll believe in you... Because you are an Adventurer-"

"And you are a Mage!" He finished as he shifts his stance to an offensive one.

""Let's go!!"" They shouted in unison as both of them started to move or to be precise, Dance around, with Bell both attacking and blocking the attacks directed to Lefiya.

By acting as a Decoy, She allowed Bell plenty of safe chances to counter because it reacts to magic and they are currently using it to their own advantage.

But the problem is they've only known each other for so long and never fought side by side, this kind of strategy only works between longtime partners but despite this.

They work in perfect sync.

"Hyaah!!" Bell launched towards the attacks directed to Lefiya, cutting the huge vines while charging forward to try destroy the shield that's guarding it's core.

"You are the master of arrows! " She started to move towards the opposite direction Bell was currently charging to redirect it's attention back to her.

""Somehow... I understand his/her movement!!""

With the same person in their minds, they worked perfectly together that it looks like they are dancing in the water instead of fighting in a pool full of acid.

""And it somehow reminds me of... Aiz-san!!""

The two synchronized in both mind and body as they move around, but the monster suddenly launched a surprise attack on Bell which surprised him.

"Two at once-Ack!!"

SHATTER

Bell's axe suddenly broke into pieces by the force of the new species's vicious attacks but he doesn't seemed to be bothered by it because he already bought Lefiya enough time and now, she finished her chant.

"Pierce arrow of accuracy... ARCS RAY!! "

She fired of her full chant Arcs Ray hoping to pierce it's barrier and destroy it's core.

"It managed to block my magic!? It must have some strong magic resistance to keep adventurers here! a adventurer's prison! But... "

"I need to keep pushing forward!!" She screamed as she keeps increasing the power of her magic to it's absolute limit.

She then noticed that the walls are also a part of this monster's trap and now it's trying to close it to trap them inside.

"Trying to fight till your last breath? But... We won't lose here!" Bell said as the light surrounding his arms grow larger and the bell's sounds became louder and louder.

"I'll shoot-"

"Wait Bell-san! Hold come here and hold my staff too! Let us combine our magic and use this to increase it's power!" She said as she looked at Bell with a very determined look on her eyes.

"ARGONAUT 20 SECONDS CHARGE... "

" FULL POWER...! "

" FIREBOLT/ARCS RAY!!!! "

As both pointed the staff they are holding straight to the monster's core which is it's eyes.

As they release they're most powerful attack, the monster's barrier shattered in an instant and destroyed it's core along with it. comepletely destroying the monster and evaporating the acid pool surrounding them.

Lefiya's POV.

After destroying the monster, Bell Cranel suddenly collapsed on the floor and he's currently panting heavily to what I can only guess is the side effect of his charge skill.

PANT PANT PANT.

"Hey..! Are you alright!?" I asked him worriedly as I grabbed him and gave him a piggy back ride.

"Yes... This is... Nothing..." He muttered under his breath.

I knew that he's not really okay especially when smoke are coming out of his body like some sort of overheating.

" That final attack was really something else but... It left you in such a sorry state..."

"You really push yourself too much..!" I said to him, as if I knew he was normaly this reckless which is weird since I never saw him fight.

Suddenly a group of what I can tell is Evilus members appeared in front of us, there are 3 of them in total and they are wearing this plain white and black robes.

"Thousand Elf from Loki familia!? You defeated Venenthes..!? However if it's just you and that injured adventurer... VIOLAS!" the man summoned the plant like looking snake, total of 10.

" 10 of those monsters that's about level 3 or 4 at maximum... honestly this situation could never get worse but... I swear I'll protect him..! "

"This is where you die... Adventurer scum!!!!"

I closed my eyes as the Violas starts to charged towards us and I expected it to hit us but it didn't, I only heard a loud smashing sound.

FWOOSH!

"Eh!?" Was all I could mutter when I saw a figure holding a sword attacking the monsters at an increadible speed.

"I thought I heard something... Are these the new species??" She looked at our direction, asking the two of us.

"Ryu..-san..?" He said as he returned her gaze.

"You know her?!"

"Don't move elf, please stay there with Cranel-san" She said as she charged forward again towards the monsters.

She moved around flawlessly, she attacks with perfect precision and dodged at the same time, Slamming her wooden sword to these monsters easily.

"So fast!"

"This is...!"

I already knew that she's strong and I can say that she's comepletely on the same level with Aiz-san but usinga weapon like that with no edge wouldn't do any damage to those monsters so I gave her the best information I could say.

"Just hitting them won't stop them! You have to cut them down! and also, they respond to magic!" I screamed at her.

"Well then... Distant sky above the forest." She started to chant her magic.

I watched her in disbelief because she's not only a skilled sword user but also a powerful magic user, using concurent chanting while attacking and dodging all at the same time feels impossible but when I look at her, she seems very used to doing it, proof that she's a veteran adventurer who always fought in the frontlines.

"To think that there is such an adventurer..! "

" Luminous Wind "

Her magic is also in a very different level and probably stronger than my version of Rea Laevateinn.

"With the lack of magic circle, she's completely not a mage nor a magic swordsman... She's more beautiful, more intense and a bit lonely... It should be appropriate to call this person... An Elven Warrior! "

"Perhaps, that was a bit too much..." She said as she looked around.

The members of Evilus already ran away as soon as they saw her movement, they already knew that they would lose so they escaped as soon as they saw the right opportunity.

"T-Thank you for.. saving us! May I ask your name my sister?" I bowed.

"Later... We should treat your w-actually..I think you should cover up first..." The mysterious elf said while trying to look away to hide her completely red face.

I noticed that the top portion of my clothes wete already gone and the only thing that covers my chest is Bell-san's arms.

"Bell-san please close your eyes! and also my robe!" I said to him as I grabbed the robe and handed her over to the elf.

I wrapped around the robe towards my upper body and tied the sleeves in my front to cover my private parts.

" Noah Heal..."

"You can use healing magic as well!?" I said in complete surprise because imagine if you are that strong and you have a very powerful magic and a healing at the same time, you'll be invincible and the only thing that you have to worry about is you having a mind down.

"Yes but it can only be used as a first aid because it can't rival a potion in potency..." she then shifted her gaze towards Bell-san who's currently resting his back towards a big crystal.

"Well then Cranel-san... I may not know the situation but I'm dissapointed in your actions because if my memory serves me correctly, I sent you back to the camp a few hours ago, yes? I thought I told you how dangerous the forest gets when it's night"

"P-Please wait...!" I decided to interrupt them because I know that I'm the one at fault here and not him.

"Everything is my fault because... I dragged him into this mess and he's done nothing wrong so please... my sister don't misunderstand... He saved me..!"

Suddenly, a very soft smile appeared on her very beautiful face, a kind of smile that I could only see on Riveria-sama.

"You don't know how happy it makes me to meet an another elf like you" She pats my head before kneeling down to take a look at Bell-san once more.

"I apologize Cranel-san, it appears like I spoke too soon" As I noticed her features, she looks oddly familiar for some reason as if I already saw her from a bar above.

"Lefiya!!" I suddenly heard a very familiar voice calling my name.

"Aiz-san!" I said as soon as I saw her gold hair and eyes.

"Kenki huh... You should be fine if she's here with her group... I have other things to attend to so farewell and take care of yourselves as well" She smiled at us before running of to the woods.

Aki's POV.

As we reached our location, Aiz was the first to reach them and to call out to them.

"Something happened didn't it?" She said as she went to check them up.

As soon as I saw Bell sitting on the ground full of burns and cuts, before I realized it, I'm already running towards him with a potion in my hand.

"Here! drink up!" I opened his mouth and shoved the potion in panick.

"Oy! Slow down Aki!" Riveria-san said as she grabs my hand that's holding his jaws.

"I'm sorry! I'm just worried about you because your condition looks terrible!" I said as I tried to calm myself down.

The captain then asked them what the hell happened here and why is there a very huge pit on this area which didn't exist before.

It turns out that the Evilus placed a monster in this part as a trap for those who try to come here, as if they were hiding something they don't want anybody to see.

"Thanks for filling me up, now Riveria, Tiona, Tione, Gareth, and Raul are to remain here to investigate while Aki, Aiz and I shall escort this two back to the camp" Finn-san said as he gestured us to help them if they needed.

I can't help but notice how close the two of them became because Lefiya said that they should focus on treating just him because compared to her, he sustained more damage so I decided to tease her a bit.

"Hey Lefiya... Looks like you two are close now... How's he?" I whispered to her ears in a very teasing tone and I'm glad I earned a cute response as her ears starts to twitch around.

"You've got it all wrong... I still don't like him but atleast I already know that he's not really a bad person... It's just my imagination running wild..." She said as she looked at me with a very apologetic smile.

"See? He's just a very good natured person, he's so kind that sometimes, people take advantage of it and tricks him into doing something that he would normaly not do"

I went to his direction and tapped his shoulders, and it looks like he's already fine since he can walk straight now unlike earlier.

"Bell?"

"What is it Aki-san?"

"Nothing... I'm just glad that you are safe..." I gave him my full smile which he reciprocated.

We walked in comeplete but very comfortable silence before we reach the camp and as soon as we got there, I faced him and punched his chest lightly.

"Never do something reckless again alright...?" I whispered while looking down because I don't want him to see my face like this. I'm so worried about him earlier that I almost went there myself just to check out if he's fine.

"Seriously... what the hell is this feeling...? "
