Chapter 12: Preparation.
Ruins.
Normal POV.
All of them were waiting for the final member of their team, Bell.
Mikoto, Welf, Ryuu, Hestia and Hephaestus were there sitting and waiting for him.
"There he is!"
A white haired boy could be seen walking towards their direction, clad in red salamander wool.
"Bell-kun! We're waiting for you and also, Hephaestus got something to say to you!" She said as she tapped her fellow god's left shoulder.
"Since we've got some time, I would like you to do some meditation with your weapon..."
"Meditating? For what exactly? and what weapon?"
"The knife that I made for you, remember what Hestia said to you? That weapon is alive"
"So what should I do...?" He asked as he drew his black knife.
"First, take a sit and put that knife on your lap, and try communucating with it..." She told him and he did as he was told to.
Sitting in an empty space, he placed down his knife on his lap and closed his eyes.
Bell's POV.
I'm really concentrating my mind on this but I still couldn't feel anything so I tried opening up my eyes but when I did. I noticed that I'm on a completely different looking Orario.
For some reason, everyting was side ways and all things looks like glass for some reason, reflecting the beautiful skyscraper beside me.
"Where am I...?" I said in confusion.
"Welcome, I've been waiting for your arrival, my other half" A voice, similar to mine rang out but his voice have more vigor on it.
I turned around and saw a person. White hair, yellow fierce eyes. He's clad in white shirt that extends to his knee on his left side and gold shoulder guards and gold arm guards, he also have black pants, gold boots and black cape and lastly the golden sword with a gem on it's handle that he's carrying.
"Who are you?" I asked him.
"As I said, we are the same person, you are my other half from the future, and I am your other half from the past" He simply said while smiling to me.
"Um... I don't really get it..." I scratched my head lightly clearly not understanding what he just said before.
"Ahaha... You're really such a kid... Forget it, you're here so I'll show you the way, I'll give you the power and I your weapon shall grow as much as you do!" His hand glowed and he placed it in my chest and suddenly, I felt a surge of power inside me.
"My power is growing again...!!"
"This is just the beginning, but once you reached a certain level, you will feel it more and your potential will become limitless, now go on! You are not needed here anymore!" He pushed me back and I was flicked back to the Orario that I know.
"It's complete, look at what happened to the knife" I hear Hephaestus-sama's voice as I drifted back to the reality.
I saw my knife gain weight and length on it, it's no longer a knife, it looks like one of those short Katanas Ryu-san is always carrying around.
"Amazing..." I said in amazement as I look at my weapon.
"This is one of those weapons I made back then, I made weapons like this with my first child... He's not here anymore but he still have my falna engraved on his back" The red haired goddess said as she wore a sad look on her face.
"Can I ask who he is? Because I only know Tsubaki-san from your familia and only her, can I ask who your first child was?" Out of curiosity, I asked her what kind of person and how great of a smith that person is, since Kami-sama also doesn't know who he is, she also joined me on asking.
"I'll tell you, and you too Welf, after your wargame so you definitely have to win this alright?" She smiled at us proudly while placing a hand on our shoulders.
"Absolutely, how can I embarass you in front of all people of orario?" Welf said as he looked at Hephaestus-sama with his eyes full of confidence.
She also looked at me but I didn't say anything, I just looked at her with serious eyes, not full of confidence, but awareness that I have to be victorious no matter what.
"Ahaha... I like the look on your eyes, they've got power on it... And for the last part, Hestia! Update his status already before they go out"
"Oh! I almost forgot!" She removed my salamander wool and lifted up my shirt.
She pierced her index finger with a needle and dropped her blood on my back and in an instant, my status manifested.
She started to update my status but it's been taking a while now so I and everyone started to ask her what's going on.
"Kami-sama, something wrong?"
"Bell-kun, what kind of training did you do? and who the hell trained you!?" She asked with her eyes shot wide open.
"Promise me first that you won't get angry"
"Okay... I'm okay even if it's Wallenwhatwasit or that Autumn-kun cat girl..."
"Actually, not just the two of them but the whole Loki Familia executives trained me as well as Ottarl-san-"
"""HAA!?""" They all screamed in unison.
"The King trained you!? Then how did you survive!?" Mikoto-san said to me as if she couldn't believe what I just said.
"That was awesome! I bet you're the only person who they're willing to train!" Welf slapped my back furiously while laughing.
"So, what kind of training did they gave you, Cranel-san?" The elvel beauty Ryu-san asked me calmly but I can sense her curiosity even if she's hiding it.
"I just fought them for 3 days straight, I never slept, I just ate a bunch with Gareth-san and Ottarl-san while Aki-san, Narvi-san and Alicia-san cooked food for us"
"All of them!?" Asked the still shocked Mikoto-san.
"Yes, but can we talk about that later? let's finish this once and for all so we can all go back to our peaceful life" I said gripping my weapon tightly in my right hand.
"Cranel-san is right, I think we should all head out so please finish up, Hestia-sama" Ryu-san backed me up.
"Okay, Bell-kun, you're already a level 3 but we'll publish this while the war game is still ongoing so they will be surprised by your growth again!" She raised up my status in a sheet of paper and I noticed that the nudge was not there anymore, instead my rare skill was on full display.
"Everyone! Let's win our war game!" I said as I raised my hand up high and the others mimicked my movement as they shouted 'Yes'.
Normal POV.
"He's changed somehow, he's definitely more matured than yesterday..." the red haired god smith said as she crossed her arms.
"Yeah, I have a mixed feelings about this but for now, I think it's a good thing for now..." the shord goddess replied with a relaxed smile on her face.
"I think so too... but for now, give me that, I'll have tsubaki submit it to the guild before the war game starts"
Hestia handed over the paper with his status and current level, and went to their different directions, Hephaestus to the Babel and Hestia to the Denatus.
2 hours later.
Loki Familia's Twilight Manor.
Aki's POV.
All of us executives a long with Raul and Lefiya sat down to our living room waiting for Hermes-sama's divine power to show us the wargame being held outside the city.
"Now, Raul watch him closely and see for yourself what you need the most, I know you already saw it during us training him but I think you need to see him fight as well" The captain said as he gestured Raul to sit beside him.
"Let's see what's going to happen" Riveria-san said with a confident or to be precise, proud smile on her face.
"He better not lose this or I'll definitely kill him..!" our werewolf cheered on his own way.
"Please don't lose Bell-san" our little elf Lefiya prayed.
"Argonaut-kun will win this for sure!"
"He better do after all those sleepless night we spent to just train him" the twin sister said as they wait for the wargame to start.
A few seconds later, a white warp appeared in front of us all and we heard an announcement after that with Ganesha-sama doing the announcement.
"Okay! We just received an information and apparently, our rising adventurer, Little Rookie has ranked up! and he's now a level 3!!!!!! AND THAT'S BECAUSE! I! AM! GANE-"
"Okay that's enough! let the war game BEGIN!" As soon as the official commentator from Ganesha Familia announced, they also gave a signal to the attackers and defenders that they can now begin their fight.
War Game Castle.
Normal POV.
"Okay, for now let's just take it easy since we have 3 days for the war game... To be honest, I want to be the one attacking those weaklings but apparently, they have short members so they can't actually defend if a hundred adventurers attacked them all at once..." Hyakinthos said as he sat through the commander's throne.
"Um... Please be always on guard because I saw on my dreams that on the first day, this war game will end and we will lose if we act careless" The blue haired cynic beauty Cassandra said shyly.
"That again? how many times do I have to say this to you? It's just a stupid dream so stop saying that, it's impossible no matter how fast he grows up, he's still no match for an army of level 2 and one level 3" the short haired girl with a cool aura, Daphne.
"Emergency! A girl with two ridiculously powerful magic sword is attacking us outside!"
"So they've made their move huh? Where's Luan?" He looked around and he saw not even the shadow of the pallum boy he mentioned.
"Well whatever, they'll never reach me with that level of attack" He smirked as he closed his eyes and sat down comfortably to his chair.
Little did he know that a certain pallum in disguise of Mulan already let Bell and Welf inside the castle and was about to blow up the whole top floor.
A/N: A F*CKING BLEACH REFFERENCE!? HAHAHAH!
Yeah, Bell communicating with his knife and him seeing another version of him is a bleach ref and I like it, as well as the orario being sideways and whatnot.
