Chapter 13: War Game.
Normal POV.
All the gods are watching at the war game that was currently happening. They watch in fascination at Ryu's attack using the 2 Crozzo Magic Sword.
"Hoh...?? Not a bad strategy, but not enough since those swords will break eventually" the sun god Apollo smirked to the short goddess beside him.
"Wait isn't that adventurer a wanted one? Her name is Gale I think? not that I care though.." one of the deities said as he watched in the elf's incredible performance.
"What!? Tch! I guess that's alright as long as she doesn't reach my general!"
"Don't worry Apollo the one who'll face your lovely commander isn't gale wind herself but the rabbit you've been bullying lately..." A very familiar seductive voice rang out and the whole room went silent as they saw the goddess of beauty enter the scene. Goddess Freya.
"Hmph! As if he can beat my Hyakinthos! He may have already reached level 3 but he's still no match for my captain who's already close to ranking up!" He boasted as he laughed maniacally.
"Are you sure about that? Haven't you seen what's posted on the guild earlier?" the short goddess asked plainly.
"Ofcourse not! I've been here all the time!"
"Then here, take a look" Hestia handed over a brown paper containing just the stats of Bell before ranking up, she removed all of his skills and magic to avoid anyone seeing it.

"What the hell is this!? It's clearly obvious that you cheated his stats! HOW CAN THIS BE POSSIBLE WITH OUR FALNA!?" The sun god panicked as soon as he saw the rank EX status written on it.
"I know that shorty is not cheating on this, I saw it with my own two eyes what transpired after all, my childrens trained him for this upcoming war game" the goddess of mischief entered the conversation casually as she walks towards Freya's left side.
"What? Loki helped Hestia!?"
"Is the world going to end!?"
"Is this ragnarok!? ARMAGEDON!? IS THIS THE RUPTURE!?"
The gods starts to gossip around as soon as they heard Loki helped Hestia's child prepare for the war game.
"Please keep quiet everyone, Loki's not the only one who helped our little rabbit, my Ottarl also participated on this since we both hate the idea on picking up a fight on weaker and smaller familia, we decided to help him increase his status and rank up for this occassion and also, this is our compensation for what transpired earlier in his early days when he's still a level 1 and before he reached level 2" The silver haired goddess stated as she placed a hand on Loki's shoulder.
"Wait what do you mean by that? I didn't know that you got involved with Bell-kun when he's still a level 1 Freya, mind telling me why and how? And what also happened when he's still a fresh adventurer?" She asked in curiosity.
"What now Loki? Should I also say your part or you go ahead and say it first?"
"Yaahh... The truth is I didn't know about all of this until yesterday before he left our home, but. Apparently, the minotaur incident that happened in the fifth floor where your rabbit got caught up is due to my amazoness' carelessness in battle, they pretty much went very wild in the 17th floor when fighting a monster party of minotaurs there so those bulls panicked and ran away from them to the higher floors" The trickster goddess said hesitantly.
"And mine happened to be the irregular minotaur he faced during his adventure towards level 2 on the ninth floor, my Ottarl said that he's doing some testing on the dungeon's monsters if they can learn to wield a human's weapons, he said he got bored of it and left it there so it climbed up all the way there, we apologize for that" She bowed her head slightly and smiled again.
"I see... Thank god he's alive right now because if something happened to him during those times, I'll never forgive you two you got it?"
"Aren't you also a god? You're really an idiot aren't you shorty?" the red haired goddess said smugly.
"Ofcourse, I don't mind if you hate me, it's my child's fault after all" Freya said simply before leaving the whole denatus because she said that she's already sure that he'll win this for sure.
They went back on watching the fight and they were surprised by the performance of the former Takemikazuchi Familia member Mikoto.
"Isn't that Take's child? She's really really good! She'll definitely become one of the top female adventurers in the future!" A god said to his fellow as soon as Mikoto activated her gravity magic 'Futsu No Mitama'.
War Game.
Normal POV.
Mikoto just activated her trump card freezing half of the enemy force's movement and preventing them to stop what Lily was about to do.
Lily in disguise of Luan opened the main gate letting both Welf and Bell enter the castle with no problem.
"Thanks a bunch Lil'Lily!" The red haired smith smirked
"Thanks for your hard work, you can leave the rest to us" He smiled to his first companion as he entered.
"Okay, I'll just cause some more chaos in here so please be on your way!" She dashed off leaving the two at the entrance door.
"You ready?" Welf asked brushing off his playfulness.
"More than enough"
They went to their destination and was blocked by some weak mobs of adventurers before reaching the bridge that leads to the throne room and there, they met the short haired girl leading a group of mage.
"They're here! Now release your magic and make sure they never reach Hyakinthos!"
They started to chant their magics but welf activated his ace card.
"Will o Wisp!" He made their magics self destruct, leaving them unconcious aside from Daphne.
"Bell! Go ahead and fight that bastard! It's payback time!" He ordered Bell.
"I got it!" He dashed off to the now clear path ahead of them, leaving the astounded Daphne and Welf behind.
Daphne finally recovered from what happened and was about to chase Bell but Welf blocked her way.
"Wait up... Can't we do this the way normal adventurers do it...!?" He roared as he charge towards her direction.
Bell got inside and was one floor below the throne room, there, he decided that instead of breaking his way through tge corridor ahead, he'll just blast them from below using his Argonaut enhanced Firebolt.
"Everyone, please lend me your strength...!"
He reminded himself of every person who helped him to reach this point and how he can't disappoint them while charging up his skill.
"Let's go... FIREBOLT!!! "
BOOM!
A huge explosion can be seen through every portal Hermes opened earlier, blasting the top of the castle and reducing everything to ashes.
Twilight Manor.
There the Loki Familia saw a very familiar looking pillar of light.
"There's no mistaking it...! That's Bell Cranel's skill and magic!" Riveria stood up as soon as she saw the overwhelming power of it.
"Wait WHAT!? THAT KID GOT SOMETHING LIKE THAT!?" Bete couldn't believe what he just saw and heard from everyone around him.
"Yes, he had a skill called Argonaut I think that let's him concentrate all the excilia in the air and charge it up to empower his next attack but it needs time to be powered up like that, I saw it with my own two eyes as he used it when we defeated that brightly colored monster in the 18th floor" Lefiya explained while still focusing on the fight.
"That bastard...!"
Castle.
The walls and the roof was destroyed, only the ground was still intact with a very huge hole in the middle of it.
"How did this happen!?" Hyakinthos looked everywhere but saw nothing but rubble.
Then, a Bell emerged from the hole who already had his Hestia Blade drawn out.
"You!! I don't know how you did this but you're still no match for me! SUURYA!"
He charged toward the white haired boy who easily dodged all of his slashes and kicks.
Bell who's finally done reading his moves decided to finally go on offensive.
He first parried his attack and then proceeded to break his sword by slashing it with his Hestia Blade.
"Hyah!"
SLASH
"YOU'RE TOO FAST! HOW DID THIS EVEN HAPPEN!?" He started to panick while trying to dodge his attacks desperately.
"YAAAH!!!" A blue haired girl suddenly appeared pushing and pinning Bell down.
"Please get away from me!" Bell pleaded to the girl but she won't let go.
"Good! My name is love! " Hyakinthos started chanting his magic to blow up both Bell and Cassandra but before he could release his magic, Lily appeared seperating Cassandra from Bell.
"Thanks Lily!" He got up and prepared himself for the upcoming attack.
" ARO ZEPHYROS!! "
The enemt general finally unleashed his homing magic, chasing Bell around wherever he go. He tried to shake it off many times but failed so he tried canceling it with his own magic.
"HAH!"
"It's useless!"
He tried to fire his Firebolt on the magic that's chasing him around but it simply passed through.
The magic caught up to him and finally reached him but he was prepared for it and covered himself up with the salamander wool to reduce the impact of it's explosion.
The smoke finally died down and Bell emerged unscratched.
"How did you survive that!? YOU'RE CLEARLY NOT THE SAME WHEN I FOUGHT YOU BACK THEN! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?" Hyakinthos slowly backed away in fear when he saw him emerge with his Hestia Blade in hand.
"I'm Bell Cranel, second class level 3 adventurer from Hestia Familia!" He charged a Firebolt without Argonaut on his hand before running to Hyakinthos and punching him to the face.
Orario
"THE BATTLE IS OOOOOVEEEEEERRR!!!!"
Everyone in Orario rejoiced at the victory of Hestia familia because they were actually rooting for them but simply couldn't help but feel hopeless for their numbers. It is truly a fight of Quantity versus Quality.
"What can you say about this Ganesha-sama!?" The anouncer who's also a member of the mentioned God's familia asked his deity.
"OREGA GANESHA DA!!!"
"Would you please take this seriously!?"
Denatus
"HYIIIIIIIIIIIIHHHHH!!!!!!" A scream of a god can be heard by everyone in the room and they all covered their ears, even Asfi being used to monsters screeching all over the dungeon couldn't handle how high the pitch of Apollo's voice is.
"Apollo... You're ready for my condition I suppose...!!??" Hestia smiled demonically as she slowly stood up while looking down on the sun god.
"I...!! Hestia! Forgive me! I'm just joking! I just couldn't resist the cuteness of yo-"
"SHUT UP! FROM NOW ON! YOU'RE BANNED FROM ORARIO! YOUR FAMILIA IS DISBANDED AND ALL OF YOUR AND YOUR FAMILIA'S PROPERTIES WILL BE OURS!!"
The gods roared in amusement as soon as they heard the brutal condition Hestia said to the losing Apollo.
"Hermes-sama, there's clearly something wrong with the Apollo Familia's movement earlier... It's like someone's giving them the right instruction but Hestia Familia looks always ready for it... What's your thought about it?" The blue haired beauty asked his own deity who's also thinking about the same thing.
"You're definitely right but we already saw who it is right? Lily-chan has the ability to mimic someone's appearance and voice and I assume it's her magic, she gave her own familia the instructions she'll give to their opponent so they could be ready for it, if you look at it from everyone's perspective, every instruction she gave to Apollo familia about stopping the attack from the outside and intercepting the intruder is clearly correct. But Hestia Familia also knew what kind of actions they'll take that's why they sent the level 4 Ryu-chan to lure half of the enemy forces out while the level 2 Mikoto-chan will stop the remaining ones with her gravity magic. But what surprised me is how ready Bell and how strong he is right now. I felt like I'm looking at a very different person" The playful god laughed slightly as his favorite rookie adventurer Bell won the fight.
"Yeah, bringing a salamander wool definitely helped him especially at the last attack Phoebus Apollo did, and also his knife also grew on size and it now looks like a small Katana. He's gotten stronger again..." Asfi smiled softly as she remembered their small talk in the 18th floor.
"Oh? Look at you, that smile of yours is really something... Are you perhaps in love with him?" Hermes teased wich earned him a very strong elbow from Asfi who's now blushing slightly.
Twilight Manor.
"That's our Bell" The cat girl executive said and smiled proudly.
Gareth, Finn and the twin amazons looked at her direction except for Riveria who's just smiling with her eyes closed.
Aiz on the other hand was just spacing out, thinking about welcoming him back.
"Tss.. I'll go out for a bit..." Bete said weakly as he exited the room.
"Maybe he's going to dungeon?" Tiona said simply as she could feel he's itching for a good fight after watching Bell defeat Hyakinthos by punching him to the face.
Lefiya on the other hand was silent the whole time, she couldn't believe that he breached two levels in just one year, many adventurers rank up to level 3 after two or three years but him to rank up again in just two months is just unbelievable.
Aiz and Aki saw this and went to her direction to snap her out.
"Lefiya? Are you alright?" Aki waved a hand in front of her eyes but got no response.
"Lefiya, do you want to do some training with me?" This got her attention which clearly made Aki unamused.
"Aiz-san, let's do some training but first, I need to go out and buy some new equipment" She replied as she went outside.
"Alright, he's about to return at any moment so how about we welcome him back here to Orario?" Finn suddenly proposed as he stood up.
"Yeah, I really wanna congratulate the kid! You gonna come with us Riveria?" The dwarf asked.
"Obviously, I can't actually wait for his arrival you see, I really want to congratulate him for his victory and rank up" The high elf princess smiled very brightly before turning away.
This didn't go unnoticed by Finn.
"Wanna welcome your crush back?" the braver teased.
"Riveria-san!? You don't mean... The person you said when we were bathing was..!" Aki said in surprise.
"No! Stop this nonsense Finn! You know what will happen if you don't right...?" Riveria's aura suddenly shifted from a maiden in love to a very menacing evil of humanity as she threatened the know shivering Finn.
"A-Alright..."
"Anyway, let's go and also Aki"
"Yes?"
"Do you know the answer?" Riveria looked in to her shiny gray eyes.
"I still don't know... But I know one thing..! I know he's a very important person to me"
"Alright then let's go" Riveria opened the door and went out. Everyone followed her including the two amazons and Aiz.
A/N: Okay! That's it for now and hooo... I just watched the season 3 of the anime and I'm very dissapointed on it ... They did cut way too many scenes and rushed the whole shit again to fit it in just 12 f*cking episodes again! Can't we have a 24 episode danmachi!? Why can't they gave us that!? The Anime, LN and Manga are all selling very well so why can't they do that!? I'm sure they have more than enough budget but the J.C staff looks like they're way too lazy to do that... Seriously...
