"I can't believe the Republic would stoop so low," one of my friends, Jax, grumbled as he took a swig of his drink. "Blockading our trade routes and cutting off our resources."
"And don't even get me started on their use of clone troopers," another friend, Kara, chimed in. "It's just a way for them to avoid taking responsibility for their actions. They don't see us as individuals, just disposable pawns."
I couldn't help but nod in agreement. The actions of the Republic were unjust and inhumane. The blockade was causing widespread shortages and the use of clone troopers was a clear violation of basic rights.
But as a citizen of Raxus, I felt a sense of power and pride. Our planet was a leader among the Separatists, and we had the resources and military might to defend ourselves if the war were to reach us.
"We won't just sit back and take it," I said confidently. "We have the power to fight back and defend ourselves. The Republic will regret crossing us."
My friends raised their glasses in agreement, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of determination wash over me. We may not have been able to change the course of the war, but we would make sure our voices were heard and our rights were respected.
As we clinked our glasses together, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for what was to come. We were powerful, and we would not be pushed around by the Republic.
