Washington D.C., December 30, 9:16 A.M.

Hunter glanced around the room he was once in earlier in the year, the day he met the others. Since then, the team has grown beyond the five of them. M'gann, Artemis, Starfire, and Zatanna have proven to be great allies and loyal friends. Red Inferno and Red Torpedo have proven themselves to be trustworthy on the one mission they were on.

Lastly, the newest addition to the team, Rocket had just joined them, being Icon's protégé. Icon is one of the heroes who is joining the league today along with others. Hunter was glad to have a new addition to the team, as were the others. The only downside is that, with twelve members, there were too many of them to fit in the Bio-ship meaning that they always had to take the Invisible Jet as well.

"So." Conner pulled Hunter down to his lap, "How long do you think it'll take us to get one of these ceremonies?"

"Well, Icon's been a hero for a little over a year, Red Arrow's been going solo for less than that, Plastic Man is an ex-con, so I'd say we could do it in a similar time frame." Hunter smirked as Conner buried his face in his neck. He began to squirm as Conner peppered his skin with kisses.

"Guys." Artemis sighed, interrupting them, "I thought you guys already performed your daily P.D.A. session."

Starfire quickly shushed the blonde as the camera focused on Superman, "The Justice League was formed for two reasons." He began, "First, as an acknowledgment that no single individual, no matter how powerful, can solve all the world's problems alone. And second, to uphold the values of truth, liberty and justice." The Man of Steel flashed a bashful smile, "That uh last one's even in the name." He said gaining a series of laughter from the press.

Conner groaned as Wally turned to him, "Hey, at least he's got the dad jokes down."

The rest of the team, aside from Starfire and the Reds laughed, "What differentiates a joke to a dad joke?" The princess asked.

"I'll explain later." Robin muttered.

Hunter wrapped an arm around Conner's neck and rested his cheek on his black hair. He knew deep down Conner wasn't too embarrassed by the joke. He and his mother spent Christmas with the Kent family. There, he saw the way the clone's face burned with embarrassment whenever Clark made an attempt at humor, but he also saw the small smiles he allowed himself to have afterward.

The camera cut to Cat Grant reporting on the ceremony, "You are watching live coverage of the Justice League's induction of its five newest members." The screen cut to a panning shot of the older members of the League, "Looks like the entire league has shown up to welcome the new blood. Everyone from Batman to Captain Marvel."

"I'm glad they didn't kick Billy out." Wally bit into his apple before speaking with his mouth full, "And I love the fact that there's a ten-year-old in the league."

"There is?" Raquel suddenly asked.

Robin elbowed Wally's ribs gaining a groan from him, "Way to keep a secret, genius." The Boy Wonder scolded.

"Hey, she's on the team now, right?" He shot back before they looked back up at the screen.

"Superman is now handing out official league membership cards, starting with Doctor Fate."

Zatanna grimaced at the sight of Doctor Fate, looking away from the screen. Kori immediately put a comforting arm around her friend's shoulder. Koriand'r and Zatanna have grown close in their time at the cave, both having suffered deep personal losses recently. Hunter wished he could patrol with his Star Sapphire ring so he could help Hal and Carol search for her brother, but he was never given leave to go.

"The Atom." The camera zeroed in on the Atom who struggled to hold up the card with his miniature size. The picture zoomed out revealing that he stood on Plastic Man's shoulder, "Plastic Man."

Superman then handed a card to Icon, "And Icon."

"You know, I was the one who convinced Icon to become a hero in the first place." Raquel said, "I should be outside celebrating with him, not hidden away in here."

"Welcome to our world." Kaldur replied with a friendly smile.

"Well, I suppose there's an upside, too." She added, gazing at Kaldur.

The screen then cut to Green Arrow handing a card to Red Arrow, "Finally, Green Arrow welcomes his former protégé, Speedy, now known as Red Arrow to this roster of heroes." The two archers shook hands and Wally raised his fist to the sky.

"Way to go, Roy!" The speedster exclaimed.

Kaldur then said, "At last, he has his wish."

"The first of us to make it." Robin turned to the two of them, "No one will call him a sidekick anymore."

"Wait." Roquel suddenly spoke, "Since when is being a sidekick a bad thing? You sidekicks were my inspiration."

"Well, see, six months ago – " Robin began to apply before his wrist began to beep. He quickly raised it and looked down at the holoscreen.

"What is it?" Hunter asked, getting to his feet.

"Cheshire's been sighted." He replied looking up at Aqualad, "This might be our only chance."

"Suit up." Their leader ordered without a second thought.

Smokey Mountains, 10:48 A.M.

The Bio-Ship and the Invisible Jet flew over the snowcapped landscape. The team split into two groups that consisted of six members. Aqualad, Robin, Artemis, Miss Martian, Starfire and Rocket rode in the Bio-Ship and Wonder Warrior, Superboy, Kid Flash, Zatanna, Red Inferno and Red Torpedo followed them in the Invisible Jet.

"I still think you're being ridiculous." Hunter said over his shoulder towards Wally.

"She jeopardized the mission all because she was jealous of Red Arrow!" The speedster exclaimed.

Hunter scoffed, "Maybe she felt threatened because you, Kaldur and Robin have been begging on your knees for him to join the team despite the fact he continued to belittle us from day one."

"Roy is our friend, why wouldn't we want someone we trust on the team?"

"Maybe because he's a dick." Conner replied from the co-pilot's seat.

"Oh look who's talking!" Wally exclaimed.

"Perhaps this conversation should be postponed for when we are not on a mission." Red Torpedo suggested.

Wally crossed his arms and leaned back on his seat, "Fine."

Turning around he glanced over at Conner. The clone had his hand in his left pocket. Hunter knew that he was holding the box holding his last shield. He used a good few of them on his mission where he encountered Parasite.

"I know what you're going to say." Conner muttered, returning his hand on the controls.

"Then you obviously know I don't want you to use the last one." He replied, "Especially since you stuck that last few on yourself like they were unicorn stickers."

"Guys, look up ahead." Robin said through the comp.

Hunter looked down and immediately tenses at the sight of a crashed plane. He immediately slowed the jet before landing it as the Bio-Ship landed behind it. He gave Superboy one last glance before they stood up. Lowering the ramp Kid Flash dashed out to search the area.

"I don't like this." Wonder Warrior said as they joined the rest of the team, "Cheshire is too good to be taken out like this."

"You think she's alive?" Artemis asked.

Hunter caught a hint of anxiety in her voice, "I'm certain. She probably parachuted out."

"We cannot be certain of anything." Aqualad said, "Search the wreckage." He ordered.

The team scavenged through the wreckage, looking for Cheshire or the case she was carrying. Red Torpedo turned the nearby snow into water and cleared the plane so the team didn't have to dig through. Wonder Warrior and Superboy lifted debris too heavy for the others so Robin and scan for anything to do with Jade. Odds of finding her or the case diminished as they continued to investigate the wreckage.

"How come Homeland Security and the NTCB aren't all over this?" KF asked.

"Cheshire's ID was a League alert." Robin answered, "Authorities didn't pick it up and her plan didn't follow its flight plan. It flew under the radar. Literally. But the Watchtower auto-tracked it and recorded the crash."

"So why isn't the League here?" Rocket asked.

"Because our Boy Wonder has some mighty hacking skills and arranged to get the alert first." Zatanna replied.

"And because Cheshire and that case represent our unfinished business." Aqualad added.

Conner tossed aside a piece of debris, "Where are the bodies?"

"Here's one!"

Everyone looked up to see Cheshire in her gear standing on a ridge above them, "And it is stunning."

Starfire glanced down at her body before saying, "It truly is!"

"Oh you flatter me, though that won't save you." She replied.

"Riddle me this!" A voice said from above them.

Everyone looked up to see that they're surrounded by ninjas clad in white, each holding Apokoliptan weapons. With them stood Riddler, Mammoth and Shimmer. A loud roar caught everyone's attention before Cheetah landed next to Riddler.

"I am flora, not fauna. I am foliage, not trees. What am I?" He asked as he snapped his fingers.

Large pylons sprouted out from the snow. They formed a circle around everyone. They sparked to life, forming a green force field and trapping them inside.

"Hey, come on, you can get this." Riddler mocked, "I am shrubbery, not grass. What am I? I. . ."

"Ambush." Robin answered, glaring at Riddler.

"Didn't you think we'd be tipped that you were on Cheshire's trail?" Riddler asked, "We're tired of you interference, kiddies. This is the end game. Ordered from above and executed by their master strategist, moi."

"More like a self-aggrandizing fool." Wonder Warrior replied.

"Miss Martian, is everyone linked?" Kaldur asked through the link.

"All except for the Reds." She replied.

"They'll follow our lead, go!" He ordered.

All at once the entire team moved and less than a millisecond later so did Red Torpedo and Red Inferno.

Zatanna immediately casted a spell, "Ekahs siht ebolgwons!" A snowstorm kicked up within the forcefield causing the ninjas to hesitate.

Kid Flash dashed through the storm knocking down any enemies in his way. Aqualad leapt over the swing of a spear and knocked down its owner with his maces. Cheetah dived down to pounce on Wonder Warrior from behind, but a torrent of water sent her flying into the ground. She quickly rolled on all fours before a cage made of fire trapped her. Cheetah looked up to see Red Inferno entrapping many of her allies in fire cages.

"Superboy, Wonder Warrior, the pylons!" Kaldur ordered, "Starfire, clear a path for them."

"Let's go." Wonder Warrior grabbed Superboy by the hand and flew up, following Starfire.

They landed at the top of the ridge before they split up and began to destroy the pylons. Mammoth jumped after them but was quickly intercepted by Starfire. She blasted a beam of green energy at him, sending him flying to the opposite ridge. She blasted him into the mountain side before flying down tackling him into the stone.

Starfire's unwavering attack caused the cliffside to weaken causing a landslide. Stone and snow drifted downward where Artemis stood. The archer was too engrossed by her fight that she failed to notice. Her opponent, however, did.

"Artemis!" Cheshire exclaimed tackling the blond out of the way. Artemis looked up in shock, "Ok, fine. We're sisters I don't actually want you dead." She said before she disappeared in a gust of snow.

Both Superboy and Wonder Warrior smashed through the rest of the pylons, freeing them. With the field down Wonder Warrior flew down and like a comet smashed down onto Cheetah. She was the cause of so many of his troubles, she poisoned him, had him sent to prison and taunted him the entire time. He relentlessly beat her down into the ground before he drew a dagger from his hip.

"Do it, boy, you know she deserves it." The voice in his head, sounding eerily like Ares echoed through his mind.

He glared down at Cheetah's unconscious body, the dagger shaking in his hand, "I shouldn't."

"She killed before, your Amazon sisters and many before and after them, she'll kill again. Think of how many you will save." A second voice, similar to Onryo's spoke.

It's true all of it. How many lives has she taken? How many more will she end? They could all be saved by this one act. What's one life compared to hundreds more?

Hunter glared down at her, steadying his hand before he drove the dagger down. Before he could pierce her skin, he was tackled down by Superboy and Aqualad. He was then telekinetically held down by Miss Martian.

"Wonder Warrior, what were you doing?" M'gann asked concerned.

The prince blinked as if he remembered where he was, "I don't know. It was like. . .I was inside my own head watching everything my body was doing."

First it was visions of the future and now this.

What is happening to him?

Mount Justice, 3:45 PM

Back at the cave the team was gathered in the mission room. Across from them stood Batman, Black Canary, Red Tornado and Icon. At the center of the room lay the case on a pedestal. Artemis had retrieved it, making up for their failed mission.

"Tell me if this sounds familiar. You hacked league systems. Disobeyed protocol and endangered your lives." Batman listed, "And your initiative resulted in the capture of four escaped villains, proving Warden Strange runs Belle Rev as a cover for criminal activity." The team stood in tense silence, waiting to be reprimanded, "Well done."

The team looked at each other in varying states of relief and confusion.

"And then there's this." Batman looked down at the open case, "Biotechnology integrated with some form of nanocircuitry."

Icon picked up one of red pieces of technology, "Though I am unfamiliar with the species, the biocomponent is clearly not of Earth."

"We'll take it to the Watchtower for further study." Batman replied, closing the case and picking it up.

The league members made their way to the zeta-tube before Rocket flew up to Icon, "Congratulations on the League thing. Sorry I skipped out."

"Yes, well it seems we both found teams that suit us." Icon replied getting a smile from Rocket.

"We should go too." Black Canary said, "We wouldn't want to miss the League's induction party."

The two last league members walked into the zeta-tube.

With a flash they vanished.

"You realized we were set up." Robin immediately said.

"Yes, Cheshire and Riddler were tipped and ready for us." Kaldur replied.

Artemis groaned, "Not the mole thing."

"Mole thing?" Rocket suddenly asked, "Again?"

"You have a mole?" Starfire asked excitedly, "May I see it?"

"Not that kind of mole, Kori." Robin supplied.

"We had intel that there was a traitor on the team." Wally explained.

"Namely me, Artemis and M'gann." Conner said, stepping to the front of the group.

"It's not that simple." Kaldur replied.

"Like hell it isn't." Hunter snapped, "You let your friend throw around baseless accusations and didn't so much as utter a defense for any of them."

"Yes we did!" Wally shot back, "Besides you're not one to talk after going kookoo earlier."

"Your behavior is concerning, Hunter. You nearly killed Cheetah." Kaldur said, "You know that's not how we do things."

Hunter scoffed before walking away, "So what if I had, it's not like any of you would be mourning her death."

Suddenly Conner grabbed his arm, "Hunter, this isn't like you." Hunter refused to look up at him, "Are you hiding something?" What aren't you telling us?"

"That's my business, Connor." He tried to rip his arm away, but Conner tightened his hold.

"It's my business too when you start acting like a completely different person." He countered causing Hunter to glare up at them.

"That's ironic given that you want to keep the team from knowing about those things despite how you behave with them on." He nodded towards Conner's pocket, "This is my business Conner and I'd appreciate it if you leave it be." He finally got out of Conner's grip and walked away.

"Hunter!" He yelled but the prince continued to walk away, "Fine god dammit!" Hunter stopped and turned to face him, "Fine." He sighed, pulling the box out of his pocket before tossing it to Robin who easily caught it.

Robin opened it to see a single shield inside, "What is this?"

"It suppresses my human DNA." He replied gaining shocked looks from the team, "That's why I don't. . .will never have full kryptonian powers. With them I'm stronger. Flight, heat vision, freeze breath, all of it and I get angry. . .angrier."

"Them? As in plural?" Wally asked.

"How did you acquire them?" Kaldur asked as Robin scanned the shield.

"From my human donor." Conner met Hunter's eyes when he answered, "Lex Luthor." He said as the team looked absolutely baffled.

"Holy shit." Wally breaking the tense silence.

"Lex is your – "

"He is not my father!" Conner sneered before he looked back at Hunter, "I came clean, now so do you."

Hunter glanced between Conner and the rest of the team, "I've been having. . .doubts about myself." The team remained quiet, listening, "It started when the Reds attacked. When I was unconscious, I had what I thought were dreams but I've since come to understand that they were visions."

"What did these visions contain?" Koriand'r asked.

"War, all across the planet. So many of our friends and allies were dead. Everyone on earth, friend and foe alike fought against invaders from another world and. . .we were losing, badly." His closed his eyes as his hands began to shake, "Gotham was a wasteland. Pits of fire larger and deeper than I've ever seen burned, sapping away all life. Winged creatures, killing anyone in their path."

"How are you certain that these visions are real?" Kaldur asked.

"As you know I am the blood of Zeus, but that also means I am the blood of Kronos." He said, "Kronos is the Titan of time, he has the ability to peer into the future at will and it seems that ability like many others I have is hereditary. And I spoke of Starfire in the vision."

The princess looked shocked, "What happened?"

Hunter didn't meet her gaze but turned away. Everyone seemed to understand what he meant, "It's also why I've been coming and going lately." He said, pulling out his phone.

The team watched as the prince tapped away on his phone before pictures appeared around the room. The pictures were of Hunter sitting down and drinking coffee as well as walking around amusement parks and eating cotton candy. These pictures wouldn't have aroused any suspicion except his companion in the pictures was no other than Harleen Quinzel aka Harley Quinn.

"Harley Quinn." Robin said, breaking the tense silence, "You've been hanging out with Harley Quinn?!" He exclaimed.

"She's not as bad as you guys think she is." Hunter replied.

"Of course not, she's worse!" Wally waved his hands around dramatically, "Let's list all the crimes she's done. Kidnapping, burglary, mutilation, torture, assault, murder and vandalism."

"Why did you say vandalism last?" Rocket asked.

Wally shrugged, "It doesn't matter."

"Ok, but you made sound like it was worse than murder." Rocket replied.

"Look guys, I understand your reasons but in my vision, she was on our side." He reasoned, "And in Belle Reve she was one of the few people I actually trusted. Not to mention she's super fun to be around."

"I'm sure she is, until she blows something up!" Robin exclaims.

Artemis sighed, "Well as long as we're confessing things." He walked over to the terminal and a holographic keyboard appeared, "Superboy isn't the only one suffering from bad DNA." Three photos appeared of known villains, Huntress, Sportsmaster and Cheshire, "Huntress is my mother, an ex-con. The rest of my family isn't even ex, my father is Sportsmaster and my sister is Cheshire. He's sending her to fly me to Santa Prisca."

It clicked in Wally's mind, "That's why – "

"Yeah." Artemis scoffed at herself, "I was so desperate to make sure none of you found out."

"I knew." Robin declared much to Artemis' shock, "Hey I am a detective, but it never mattered. You aren't your family, you're one of us."

Wally dashed to Artemis' side and put a comforting hand on her shoulder, "So, who's next?"

"I am." M'gann said softly.

"I was just kidding." Wally said, petrified.

"Queen Bee's been blackmailing me." She confessed, "She wants me at Santa Prisca too."

"Blackmailing. . .how?" Kaldur asked.

"She knows my true Martian form." She answered, her eyes drifting to the ground, avoiding everyone's gazes.

"Bald M'gann?" Robin asked, "Who cares if – "

"No." She shook her head before taking a deep breath.

The team watched in horror as M'gann transformed. Her skin turned white, her arms elongated, her legs bent backward, her lips disappeared revealing sharp teeth, her hair and clothes were gone leaving only the X across her chest. Almost everyone, aside from Hunter and the Reds took a step back.

"I knew none of you could accept me if you knew the truth." M'gann wrapped her long arms around yourself.

"M'gann, did we truly seem so shallow?" Kaldur asked.

She looked down again, "I couldn't take the chance. Being a White Martian among the green on Mars, I endured constantly rejection, I couldn't face that from you, all of you."

"M'gann, we'd never do that." Hunter said, "You're our friend, green or white, it doesn't matter."

"I suggest we move on to the most pressing matter." Red Torpedo chimed, "Cheshire and Queen Bee wish for Artemis and Miss Martian to go to Santa Prisca."

"Yes, this suggest that Lex Luthor will no doubt ask Superboy to go to the island as well." Red Inferno added, "But why hasn't he?"

"Because I still have one more shield." Superboy said, "He has a tracker in that box, I wouldn't put past him to track how many shields are inside."

"Let's see what these are made of." Robin said, opening the box and taking the last shield out, "I'm going to run a scan, see what these things are made of and how it affects you."

Robin scanned the shield and almost immediately a screen popped up, showing the chemical components of the shield, "It's made of tungsten."

"The best element to use for solar radiation absorption?" Wally stepped forward, "What's up with that?"

"This is what's up." Robin replied as the image changed, revealing radiation within the shield, "Concentrated blue sun radiation. Of all the solar radiation types this one empowers kryptonians the most. Not to mention outright killing any human DNA in Superboy."

"A half-truth, typical." Superboy glared at the screen, "But how don't I have some type of cancer."

"You're kryptonian DNA, it heals whatever damage is done to your human DNA." Wally explained, "I bet you anything if you were exposed to this long enough your DNA would eventually be too unstable."

"Bastard." Hunter scoffed, "When I get my hands on him – "

"Then let's get him in arm's reach." Robin said, holding out the shield to Conner.

"No, you said it yourself, prolonged exposure could destabilize his DNA." Hunter argued before Conner put a hand on his shoulder.

"It's fine." He assured, "Trust me." He took the shield from Robin before rolling up his sleeve and slapping it on. His entire body tensed as he felt the power surging throughout his body. His feet left the floor as he levitated in the air. His eyes opened as he glared at the tin box, "Let's get these bastards."

Santa Prisca, 5:57 P.M.

It was just as Red Inferno predicted. After the shield's effects wore off Lex contacted Superboy and asked him to come to Santa Prisca. Artemis left with Cheshire, M'gann took the Bio-Ship, and Conner took the super-cycle. The rest of the team followed in the Invisible Jet with Wonder Warrior and Robin piloting.

"Looks like everyone's here." Robin, looking though his binoculars, "Luthor, Queen Bee, Sportsmaster, Bane, his goons, even Blockbuster."

"Desmond." Wonder Warrior scoffed, "I'll enjoy defeating him again."

"Is everyone in position?" Robin asked through the comm.

"Red Inferno, Zatanna and I are ready." Starfire replied.

"Rocket and I are waiting for the signal." Kid Flash said.

"Aqualad and I are in position." Red Torpedo added.

Now all they have to do is wait.

Soon they saw Artemis lifted into the air before she fired an explosive arrow at the ground. Soon smoke and dust lifted above the trees before they heard the sounds of gunfire.

"Guys we have to go now." Wally urged.

"No, we wait for their signal." Robin replied.

"Guys, reinforcements time." Artemis said.

"Now." Robin said.

Rocket swooped down and grabbed one of Bane's men before flying away and throwing him against a cliff. Kid Flash sped out of the forests in his stealth mode, knocking everyone in his way down. Starfire and Red Inferno flew out of the trees before throwing starbolts and fireballs down at Blockbuster, forcing the monster to stumble back. Wonder Warrior and Robin jumped out of the jungle and easily dispatched the rest of Bane's men.

Lex, taking advantage of the commotion, picked up Queen Bee and began to sneak away from the scene before Aqualad and Red Torpedo got in their way, "Halt, Lex Luthor." Red Torpedo ordered, raising his hands towards the

"Neither you or Queen Bee is going anywhere!" Aqualad declared.

"I see you've got a toy, well so do I. Mercy." He ordered and his assistant's arm transformed into a laser cannon before firing at Aqualad, knocking him back. Red Torpedo immediately fired a jet of water at Mercy, sending her flying through a tree.

The android ran to apprehend the robot, giving Lex a chance to escape.

Superboy wrestled with Bane before throwing the villain into the mud. The venom fueled criminal tried to get back up, but Robin cut through his tubes, stopping the venom from entering his system. Superboy grabbed him by the collar and without the venom, Bane couldn't break free from his grip. The kryptonian smirked before he knocked the masked man with a powerful punch.

"I don't think I'll ever get tired of that." He dropped Bane to floor.

Blockbuster roared in frustration as he was pelted with fireballs and starbolts. Just then a golden lasso ensnared his neck before tightening. The monster roared as he struggled to breathe, pulling the lasso and Wonder Warrior towards him. Using the momentum, the prince slammed his knee against Desmond's face.

Just then the propellers of a helicopter were heard before it rose above the trees. Inside was Lex piloting he smirked down at the scene before flying away.

"All flyers on Luthor now!" Aqualad ordered.

Wonder Warrior, Rocket, Starfire, Miss Martian, and Red Inferno flew in pursuit of the chopper. Just then a piercing screech echoed through the sky before Wonder Warrior was knocked down. The rest of the team looked up to see three people floating in the air between them and the chopper, Silver Swan, Weather Wizard, Silver Banshee, and Firefly.

"I love working for a guy like Luthor, back up plans for his back up plans." Silver Swan smirked before she unleashed another sonic scream, but Rocket quickly created a shield, protecting them.

The sky blackened as Weather Wizard raises his wand, "Let's see how you handle the weather!"

Bolts of lightning came down and zapped Rocket's shield. She held it together before Silver Swan and Silver Banshee let out supersonic screams causing her shield to shatter. Rocket, Starfire and Miss Martian covered their ears, attempting to shield themselves from the sound. Red Inferno was unfazed by the sound and her metal body was durable enough to withstand the force of their attack.

"Enough!" The android exclaimed before blasting a pillar of fire at the two villains, forcing them to stop their attack and dodge.

"Swan!"

Silver Swan barley had an opportunity to react before a golden lasso ensnared her ankles, pulling her down to the ground. Starfire quickly fired a starbolt at Silver Banshee and the cursed woman turned into a cloud of smoke before appearing behind the alien princess. She was about to unleash her death wail once more but Starfire, quick to react, spun around and unleashed a starbolt beam, sending the Banshee flying.

"Hey, robot, ready to see what fire can really do!?" Firefly taunted as Red Inferno chased him.

The pyromaniac dived down before using his flamethrower to set the jungle ablaze. Red Inferno quickly moved to stop the forest fire, but Firefly used the opportunity to attack her from behind and fired his Flamethrower at her. The flames engulfed the android but didn't faze her. She quickly took control of the flames, morphing them into the shape of a dragon and using it to chase Firefly.

"You'll have to do better than that." Firefly said before he flew off.

Car-sized hail came down from the sky towards Rocket. She easily kept herself safe with her bubble shield, the kinetic energy from the hail making the bubble stronger. She smirked before flying up to Weather Wizard, smashing through the hail like a wrecking ball. She slammed into him before releasing the bubble, sending him falling into the jungle.

On the ground Blockbuster sank into the ground as it turned to mud, swallowing the beast until his head remained above ground. Desmond looked up to see Aqualad and Red Torpedo feeding their water into the ground before Superboy knocked him out. They then turned their attention to Sportsmaster who was bearing down on Artemis with Cheshire at his side.

"Artemis now!"

Artemis jumped up and held onto a branch as Sportsmaster sank into the ground. He tried to get out of the mud hole but the more he struggled the faster he sank. Knowing it was hopeless he looked up at his masked daughter, "Jade!" He reached out to her.

"Sorry, dad." She took off her mask, looking over at Artemis, "In this family, it's every girl for herself." She put her mask back on before walking back into the shadows of the jungle.

"Jade!" Sportsmaster called out to her, but it was futile. He then turned around and glared at his younger daughter before she kicked him in the face.

Artemis took his hockey mask before tossing it to Kid Flash. He caught it and looked down at it before his eyes met Artemis', confused, "Souvenir." She simply said.

The sound of metal clanging came from the jungle before Silver Swan was thrown out of the jungle. The winged criminal tried to get up, but she fell back, unconscious. Next Silver Banshee plummeted to the ground next to her, but she still had enough energy to let out another death wail, but Starfire quickly silenced her with a starbolt to the face. The princess landed and sighed in relief.

"Her voice was quite unpleasant." She said, looking down at Silver Banshee, "I did not wish for any of you to be subjected to it."

"Thanks." Robin laughed.

"No!" Firefly's gravelly voice came from the sky as he crashed to the ground with Red Inferno on his back.

The android smashed her hands into Firefly's jet back before tearing it in two, "I've clipped your wings." She declared before knocking him out with a backhanded slap.

"It really is always like this." Rocket said as she landed with Weather Wizard trapped in her bubble.

"Told ya." Zatanna said.

"Crisis averted." Robin sighed, "Feeling the aster."

"Please stop trying to make aster happen." Wonder Warrior said.

"Either way I agree, this has been a good day." Aqualad replied with a pleased smile.

"At this rate we'll all be members of the League in no time." Kid Flash declared raising Sportmaster's mask, "How about an ice cream party to celebrate."
