Growing up, I spent most of my time exploring the vast forests that surrounded my home. I remember my father would take me with him on his woodsman trips and teach me everything he knew. "Alec, remember always to respect the trees, they are our livelihood and must be taken care of," he would tell me.
As I grew older, I decided to follow in his footsteps and become a woodsman like him. I was determined to make him proud. He would always tell me "You have the skills, you just need experience." So, I started working with him and other experienced woodsmen in the community.
One day, while on a trip, we encountered a group of illegal loggers cutting down our precious yellow trees. My father immediately confronted them and said, "You can't just come here and destroy our trees like this. These trees are our livelihood, they sustain us."
The leader of the illegal loggers, a tall man with a thick beard, replied, "Your trees are worth a lot of money on the black market. We're just here to make a quick profit."
My father didn't back down and said, "We have laws and regulations here. You can't just take what you want without permission."
The man sneered and said, "We don't care about your laws. We'll do what we want."
My father, with the help of other woodsmen, was able to stop the illegal loggers and call the authorities. The tall man and his group were arrested and charged for their illegal actions.
After that day, I was even more determined to protect our trees and our planet. I knew that it was up to people like my father and me to ensure that Markania remained prosperous for generations to come.
From that day on, I made it my personal mission to protect the yellow trees and the planet of Markania, following my father's steps and teachings, and making sure that our planet remains a thriving and beautiful place for all to enjoy.
