Christmas Special.

WARNING: This chapter is not canon, meaning it has no connection to the original story. Aki never knew that Bell was the mysterious adventurer. This is just a special chapter I came up with.

Aki's POV.

It was just a normal dungeon exploration, right before the holy night festival so that I can have a money for myself and get a expensive dinner since I don't like to eat with the others like Bete or Gareth-san. Especially that werewolf since his attitude when he's drunk is the worst.

I just reached the 23rd floor and was prepairing to head back, reflecting on how scary it is to become a level 5 adventurer. The huge jump on power, speed and everything is tremendous.

"I should get going, the sun is about to set I think..." I said to my self as I walk towards the floor entrance.

The trip back to the surface was not that long as I reached the higher floor in just an hour and a few minutes after that, I got out of the dungeon and Babel. But I was surprised by what I saw as I went out of the streets.

The decorations for the holy night festival were very beautiful but what caught my attention was the beautiful snow that's slowly falling and covering everything. Thanks to the salamander jacket I'm currently wearing right now that I'm not feeling cold but if I remove this, I think I might feel that my bones might freeze.

I took my time to walk back to our home, I even took a detour and went to the Hearth Fire mantions direction even though the person I want to see so badly was not even there anymore.

"What am I thinking...?" I sighed to my self as I looked at the beautiful home of Hestia Familia. There might only be 3 members and 1 god in here but it sure feels like it's completely fine.

As I continued to space out in front of their gate. A girl suddenly called out to me from behind. She has a long black hair that's tied in a side ponytail by what looked like a guard used for katanas. She also has this very fierce and yet kind look on her eyes and she's also exceptionally beautiful. She wore a purple winter jacket and black skirt with tights. A simple yet good pair of boots and her turtle neck yellow shirt on the inside. Her name is Yamato Mikoto, a level 2 adventurer and was considered by the gods a genius because of her outstanding performance against their fight to the now disbanded Apollo Familia.

"Oh! Aki-san, good evening. Do you need something? How are you?" She asked me politely while giving me a very gentle smile. I returned her kind smile and answered her question.

"Good evening, I'm fine thanks. I'm just taking a walk to cool off since I just went to the dungeon earlier.." I smiled at her again but this time, with more familiarity since I view her as one of my friends now.

Ever since Bell left, I thought my connection to his former familia will be cut off but I'm wrong. Ever since then, I slowly became friends with both Welf and Mikoto-san. Since she and I share some hobbies and interests, at first we only talked about stuffs that only involves their former captain but as the time goes by. We became close and started talking about personal matters like who likes who and stuffs like that.

Welf on the other hand was just a very good person, a straight forward man and is very honorable. He's like Gareth-san but without his bad eating habbits as well as not being addicted to alchohol. He's also very kind to take a look and sometimes, repair my equipments once in a while even though sometimes, I want to give him some valis to pay for the maintenance. He politely refuses them everytime while saying "Don't worry about small things".

"I see, why don't you come inside for a bit? I'm sure Welf-dono have prepaired a nice hot drink!"

As she opened the gate, I gladly followed her inside and Welf welcomed us with a huge smile on his face as he waves to both of us.

We placed our jackets to the stand next to the door of their living room and sat at the sofa. Welf offered us a hot chocolate to drink and it tastes really good. I thought that Mikoto-san was the only good cook here but it looks like Welf also have some cooking skills.

"Thank you very much Welf-dono. It's a little too cold outside." She said as she takes a sip on her drink.

We just talked casually about things we find interesting while Welf would throw out jokes here and there until Hestia-sama and Lily appeared.

"Oh, Aki-sama. I didn't know you were here." The pallum supporter smiled at me and sat beside Welf while eyeing him suspiciously. Seconds later, she starts starring daggers at him while whispering something to him which I just ignored.

"Hello, Aki-kun. How are you?" The goddess of hearth asked me.

As I looked at her, I noticed that she still haven't recovered from the loss. Well, who can blame her? He's her first child afterall. She must've been missing him more than I do.

"I'm okay, thanks for asking."

The night goes on and I left their home before the celebration starts. I don't want to intrude other familia's celebration so I headed home.

I arrived shortly and was welcomed by Aiz that's currently dressed in a very weird manner. Shortly, Loki appeared and explained what is this.

It looks like her clothes were inspired by a character from a picture book that gives gifts to good childrens every holy night. I admit that it looks cute on her but it's still weird.

Shortly, I entered the home and was surprised by the sight. Everyone was wearing the same thing just a different style to fit them and as my eyes land upon Riveria-san, I can't help but smile on her.

Even though the clothes were supposed to look cute and fluffy. It still looks elegant on her, like wearing a gown. She's so beautiful.

"Aki!! Here's yours! I saved the best for you!" Tiona dashed to me with clothes on her hands.

I thought it was the same red with some white designs at first but when I wore it. I noticed that it has a very different design from the others.

The top was an off-shoulder dress. It retains the red colors with some furry like white design on the shoulders but on the middle of it, was a ribbon with a star in the middle of it. It also has some black parts and green and gold lining.

Black gloves with red ribbons as a design and a black and green skirt. And a golden star hairclips.

I looked at myself in the mirror and spun around 360 to take a look at my outfit. Tiona was right, I think this is the best outfit but why give it to me though?

I went out of my room after the finishing touches and helped Alicia and Narvi to prepare for the feast tonight and as we finished cooking and prepairing the table, I went to where captain, Riveria-san and Loki is.

"Umm... Excuse me but can I go out alone tonight? I don't want to stay here since you know how wild those two can get when they get drunk." I sweat dropped as I looked at the two who's already having a contest as to who can drink the most.

"Are you sure? Why not just stay here?"

"Aw... How unfair for Riveria-san to give me those puppy dog eyes... HOW CAN I REFUSE SOMEONE AS CUTE AS YOU!? " I screamed inside my head.

"O-Okay... I'll stay but please stop them when they get too much okay..?"

"Sure, I'll send them to the depths of hell if they dare to defy me." Her cute aura was suddenly nowhere to be found. Only her aura when she's about to kill someone was a I could feel right now. It's so funny how her mood can shift so fast.

The celebration came to a close and everyone was already cleaning the mess. But kept the decorations on because of a certain flat-chested goddess' request until new years arrived which the captain also agreed on. Clearing only took a few minutes and now everyone was already asleep.

I don't feel sleepy yet so I opened the window and went to the balcony of our room. Feeling the cold breeze of winter while looking at the snow that piled up to the ground below.

As I continued to look at the white road. A certain boy with pure white hair just like the snow popped up to my mind. And the more I see the color. The more I remember everything I love about him.

"haahh... I really miss him... I wonder if he feels lonely right now..? Spending the night alone..."

An arrow flew to my direction but I noticed that it wasn't aimed on me so I didn't bother to move. When it landed behind me, I reached out to it and noticed the letter attached near to the head.

I cautiously opened the letter and was expecting to read a threat to our familia or something a long those lines but what I read was something I did not expect.

"To: Anakitty Autumn,

Please come to the city wall behind your home. I'll be waiting"

I grabbed my sword and went there, I can feel no danger and ill intent to it but I can't afford to be careless. Just in case, that's why I brought my Regal Force with me.

I arrived at the place said in the letter. After looking around, I found someone clad in black cloak. But he immediately removed his hood the moment he saw me and that's when I realized.

This is a very special place not only for me but also for him, the boy that I missed so much. The person who stole my heart as well as my first kiss. The record holder, Bell Cranel was walking slowly towards me.

The snow starts falling again. Slowly, I felt waters on my eyes while I unconciously also started walking towards him but a few seconds later, we both started running and when we reached each other. We embraced tightly, and through each other's touch. We can feel our emotions flowing and our hearts screaming how we missed each other.

"Bell..."

"Aki-san..." Our voice was cracking.

An hour have passed before we let go of each other, now only our hands were joined with eyes locked towards each other as the snow slowly falls upon us.

""I've missed you so much..."" We said in unison which surprised both of us and made us laugh a bit.

"You haven't changed... Bell..."

"Well, it's only've been a few months since I left..."

We locked eyes, and slowly embraced each other again. And slowly, I can feel my heart already screaming to say something to him. But it looks like I'm not the only one who wants to say something.

"Um... A-Aki... The truth is I have something to say to you... I just realized this recently... The truth is I love you! I've been in love with you the first time I met you at the 18th floor...!"

I felt the whole world stop with his confession. Who would've thought that he also felt the same for me? I must've been the luckiest women in the whole world.

"Bell... Is that true?"

"Yes..."

"I'm glad because I feel the same for you Bell, I love you too..!!" I couldn't hold myself back anymore so I burried my face on his chest and started crying out of joy. In the middle of the Holy Night Festival, I was reunited by the person I love the most.

A minute later, he lifted my face and wiped out my tears while smiling at me, a second then. We started to close the gap between us little by little until our lips met.

I could feel my heart thumping so loud but I don't care, as long as I'm with him. I feel like I could do and overcome anything.

Our kiss lasted shortly, that's how I felt even though it's been a few minutes.

"Bell, where have you been? If you are still an adventurer, why didn't you notify me sooner? Not only me but Welf and Mikoto also misses you... You should see them"

"Sorry, I can't do that. This is just an exception, but normally I'm not allowed to reveal my identity to anyone... I'm sorry for the short time but I should be going, the sun is about to rise..." He was about to pull out but I pulled him in once again and looked into his eyes and I can see sadness in them.

"Why are you doing this...? Why are you hiding and for what reason..?" I asked him.

"To help you and the Loki Familia, don't worry. We'll meet each other from time to time but I'm sorry if I won't be able to interact with you the way we want during those times... For the sake of peace..."

"Then, when everything is over. Would you go back to being a normal adventurer again? Or will you leave the city for real?" He held my hand tightly while looking straight into my eyes. Even though he physicaly did not change, he became more matured on the inside.

"I will be returning as a normal adventurer again under a different Familia which right now only houses me. But it's necessary for me to be alone during this time... I'll be going now, Sorry for everything. I wish I could spend the whole evening with you but I can't. Good bye for now"

"Wai-Hmpp!!??" He pulled me again for another kiss but this time, it's a deep one even though it's shorter.

He then finally left as he vanishes through the thin air after seperating from me.

"See you... Bell... I love you..."

Merry Christmas!!! It's currently december 25 here in my country! I hope you all are doing well!

After being rejected by the women I love for these whole past 5 years. I decided to rewrite my christmas chapter and now here it is.

The original was supposed to be a joint celebration between Hestia and Loki Familias with lots of comedies and some love stories here and there but after getting rejected and watching a little bit of Korean Drama. I ended up with this.

Anyway that's all, happy holidays everyone!
