Disclaimer:

For some storyline purposes, I am using the original script from the original game the one by Headcrook for reference. But where I found the script was posted by Raxyz on "Steam". Each chapter is divided into its own sections. If you fine readers want to go look for it got the steam app or website and of course into the community section then into guides. The title is "RE4 Story Transcript." (Spelled just like that.)

Also, I recommend if you have not finished the game or even started it, or possibly have not watched gameplay of it, please do not read this because there are spoilers ahead! If you don't care about spoilers then go ahead and read, nobody's stopping you.

In other news, this fanfiction will be a one-sided ship of Osmund Saddler x Leon Kennedy and if you read the title already you might know what you're going to expect, so of course most plot points will be slightly altered or changed completely for this story. There is light at the end of the tunnel for Leon though. There might be slight pairings between Luis and Leon as well as Ada and Leon but that's mostly it.

This story will also be posted on, Ao3, and Wattpad all under the same title name and username as Egyptian Queenz/EgyptianQueenz15.

Lastly, enjoy.

"1998…" Leon thought as a quiet sigh escaped his lips.

"I'll never forget it. It was the year when these grisly murders occurred in the Arklay Mountains. Soon after, the news was out to the whole world revealing that it was the fault of a secret viral experiment conducted by the international pharmaceutical enterprise, Umbrella. The virus broke out in a nearby mountain community, Raccoon City. It hit the peaceful little town with a devastating blow crippling its very foundation. Not taking any chances, the President of the United States ordered a contingency plan - to sterilize Raccoon City. With the whole affair gone public, the United States government issued an indefinite suspension of a business decree to Umbrella. Soon its stock prices crashed and for all intents and purposes, Umbrella was finished. Six years had passed since that horrendous incident…"

Pale Blue eyes focused again on the moving trees outside the window only after fazing back out again.

"I received special training via a secret organization working under the direct control of the President. I was to assume the responsibility of protecting the new President's family." Leon's thoughts were interrupted by the laughter of the first officer driving the car.

"Why am I the one who always gets the short end of the stick?" He snickered staring at the road.

The second cop in the passenger seat looked at the rearview mirror as he spoke, "Yo, who are you really? Come on and tell us. You are a long way from home, cowboy. You have my sympathies." He laughed.

The blond man rolled his eyes as he continued looking out the backseat window, "Guess that's a local's way of breaking the ice. Anyway, you know what this is all about. My assignment is to search for the President's missing daughter." he finished with his head resting in the palm of his hand and elbow on the backseat door.

"What, all by yourself?" The driver chuckled.

"I'm sure you boys didn't just tag along so we could sing Kumbiyah together at some Boy Scout bonfire. Then again, maybe you did." Leon retorted.

The other man in the front passenger seat scoffed, "Oh, you crazy American. It's a direct order from the chief himself. I tell you it's no picnic."

"I'm counting on you guys." The blond said flatly.

The car slowed to a stop for the second cop to get out and use the restroom. At this time Leon began thinking quietly again… "It was right before I was to take on my duties of protecting the President's daughter when she was abducted." Leon turned his attention to the driver offering him a cigarette, but he declined.

"That's the ultimate reason I'm in this lonely and rural part of Europe. According to our intelligence, there's reliable information of a sighting of a girl that looks very similar to the President's daughter."

The officer relieving himself felt a sudden chill up his spine as he finished. He looked around and assumed it must have been an animal or something. Though not taking any chances he walked back into the car and apologized for taking so long. The driver excused his partner and continued driving.

"Apparently, she's being withheld by some unidentified group of people. Who would have thought my first job would be a rescue mission?" Leon finished thinking.

It was quiet again until Leon felt the car come to a stop again.

"Just up ahead is the village." The driver cop pointed.

"I'll go and have a look around."

The front passenger added "We'll stay and watch the car. Don't want to get any

parking tickets."

"Right...parking tickets." Leon agreed facetiously while stepping out of the car.

"Good luck, you're going to need it," the driver told.

Leon stayed quiet as he closed the car door while muttering to himself "Geez, who are these guys?"

The driver spoke again, "Did you say something?"

Leon sighed. "Nope." He finished as he walked away.

A static noise was heard. Leon grabbed his intercom. A woman by the name of Ingrid Hunnigan introduced herself as Leon's info supporter on this mission. Leon nodded as he cracked a joke about how he thought she was going to be a bit older. Ingrid rolled her eyes. She added that there was a girl seen here with similar features to the president's daughter that was seen with an unknown group. His task? Check out the village to see any clues that might lead to the missing girl. Leon accepted as the transmission ended.

With his trusty handgun, he walked down the dirt path to find an old shabby house. Everything about screamed decay. To his right seemed to be another pathway but it was blocked by a shabby-looking truck. Leon then walked inside, it felt a bit warmer than outside but still much too cold to take off his coat. He walked forward though, and to his right, he found what seemed to be a dining room. Across the room was a fireplace with a man standing in front turning the burning wood. Leon put his gun back in its holster and grabbed a picture from his back pocket and walked over to the man.

"Uh, excuse me, sir? Sorry to barge in unannounced but have seen this girl?" Leon lifted the picture in his hand to the man who hadn't even turned to look at him yet. Though as Leon finished speaking, the man slowly turned to face Leon.

"¿Quién eres tú para irrumpir en forastero! ¡Dejar! ¡DEJAR!" The man yelled angerily.

(Translation: Who are you to barge in outsider! Leave! LEAVE!)

Without understanding a single word, Leon got the gist but the villager's angry face and raised tone with him. "Sorry to have bothered you." Leon raised his hands in defense. He then turned to put the picture away not noticing the man grabbing a knife and aiming it at him. The man raised his arm and swung. Leon caught on last minute and hurridly ducked out of the way. Grabbing his gun he aimed it at the man.

"Freeze!" The man kept walking. "I said freeze!" Leon repeated. Knowing this wasn't working he fired four shots and the man dropped dead to the ground. A sudden screeching noise was heard. Leon quickly ran to an unbarricaded window to see the truck that he saw parked earlier was now heading down the pathway to the bridge.

"Shit!" Leon spat.

The same static noise was heard again as the blond reached for the intercom. Hunnigan appeared asking if everything was okay. Leon began to explain that there was a hostile local and had no choice but to neutralize as well as he is also currently being surrounded by more locals. Hunnigan responded to take any necessary measure, their prime mission was to find the missing girl. Leon agreed as he put the intercom back on his belt again.

Three townspeople were making their way toward the house. Leon quickly looked around the house for supplies or anything else. He found some ammo upstairs and an unsettling shrine at the corner bottom of the stairs. The front door was locked. The only thing left to do was to jump out of a window. As Leon caught himself he backed away as the villagers were heading towards him.

"Agarrarlo!" One of the men said as they closed in on the American.

(Translation: Grab him!)

Leon quickly fired his gun. First blowing the head off the one that was closest to him. The body still moved towards him but in sluggish movements until finally dropping to the floor. Then shot the other two in the chest. It took a few bullets but managed to finally neutralize them. Leon then saw a green herb in a flower pot off to the side. He quickly picked it up as he ran back in the direction of the cop car. Seeing no cars parked he ran towards the ledge to find both cars crashed onto the bottom floor. The bridge seemed to have collapsed too, guess he had to turn around and find another way out. He moved back towards the house to find the previously blocked pathway unblocked. He started to run through it finding some discarded supplies on the way. Soon the faint sound of whimpers was heard. Confused he continued running towards the sound to find a white and greyish dog caught in a trap. Leon quickly went to go help. He crouched and grabbed both sides and pulled it open. The dog quickly moved its leg out with another whimper. Its leg looked like it had been cut into. Its blood oozed out onto its greyish-white fur. The dog quickly turned and limped towards Leon and gave him a thank you kiss on his cheek. Leon cupped his cheek as he gave a small chuckle. He then watched the wolf-like dog run and disappear back into the woods. He continued forward to find the entrance to the village Hunnigan told him about. He pulled out his binoculars. The townspeople seemed to be walking around doing their own thing. In the middle were a large bonfire and a person tied to a wooden post in the middle of the fire. Damn. It was one of the cops Leon thought. He put away his binoculars grabbed his gun once again and walked into the small town.

"AHI ESTA!"

(Translation: There he is)

Leon looked towards another local pointing at him as he alerted the other townsfolk.

"Oh great."

Farther away in a bell tower, a man in a dark purple robe looked down at his people as they went to go terrorize the American. His original order was to kill him. Can't have some American "hero" coming in to save the day now, can he? He stared into the battlefield. The man fought well. To well. He thought. In all honesty, he thought he was going to end him here and now. When he first looked at the earlier pictures of the man stored somewhere at an undisclosed location. The hooded man felt something look at this other man. The way the picture captured his blond hair swaying in the air as he shot someone. His intense blue eyes stared at the enemy. His plump dusty rose lips curled into s sneer as he kicked another zombie. He stopped thinking about those pictures as he remember some of the information he got on the blond.

"Occupation: S.S.A." It read. Must have stood for "secret service agent". He was a secret agent for the Americans. It was definitely some good information. Though that was most of the information he got. He looked at the townsfolk again trying to murder the Hero. He could tell the hero was almost at his end wits. Seeing him in person was much better than seeing him in a photograph. He could almost feel a lustful hunger towards the younger more youthful blond. The way his coat sometimes fluttered in the air as he ran showed his small waist. Even though his broad shoulders showed his masculinity, the robbed man could tell his body was curvier than a normal man's waist size. It might have to do with how much exercise he gets on a daily basis, but he could care less about that. It was then he decided he had new plans for the blond struggling to stay alive down there. He left the bell tower quietly and walked into the church. Another servant of his waited inside for his next command. The robed man signaled for the bell to ring. The man quickly ran off to do said task. The robed man walked into the passage where his servant just disappeared, excited about this new asset to his wonderful cult family. He licked his lips in anticipation as he soon heard the church bells ringing, all he had to do was make sure the rest of his subjects knew the new plan for his newly chosen…spouse….

Back outside Leon quickly ran for cover behind a house. Unknown to him, a pair of yellow eyes followed his every move. He soon heard the sound of church bells in the distance.

"What?"

The townspeople were put into a sudden trance.

"Las campanas están sonando." An old man whispered.

(Translation: The bells are ringing)

"Oh, es hora de la iglesia…" Another old man muttered.

(Translation: Oh, it's time for church…)

"Lord Saddler…" A woman murmured.

Soon all the townsfolk in the area walked into the church. The sound of footsteps soon faded away as they moved across the dirt path. Then the sound of metal slamming was heard. Leon stepped out from his hiding place. Confused he walked to the middle of the path.

"Where is everyone going?... Bingo?" He scoffed.

Hello again. Hopefully, you like chapter 1. The second chapter is in production right now. I'll try to update every week or so or maybe within a couple of days. But no promises, because stuff sometimes pops up on my schedule, and of course, classes will soon be starting up for me again this upcoming spring.
