I'm Koran, a native teen from the planet Jora. My world was peaceful and prosperous until the Empire came and bombarded it, killing my friends, family and almost everyone I knew. I was at home with my parents when the sirens went off, signaling that the Empire was attacking. We immediately ran to the basement, hoping that we would be safe. But the bombs were too powerful and our house was destroyed in the blasts. I woke up in a daze, surrounded by rubble and debris. I was the only survivor of my immediate family.

I wandered through the streets, trying to find anyone who had survived. The destruction was widespread, and it seemed like there was no one left. But then, I heard a faint cry for help. I followed the sound and found a group of survivors, including a young girl named Lira, who had also lost her family in the bombings.

We knew we had to get out of the city and into the wilderness if we were going to survive. The Empire would be back to finish the job and we couldn't risk being captured.

"Come on, we have to keep moving," said Lira, her voice determined. "They'll be back to finish the job."

We set out on foot, trudging through the rough terrain and dodging debris. We were all in shock, but we knew we had to stick together if we were going to make it.

We traveled for days, trying to find shelter and food. We came across abandoned farms and empty towns, but everything had been destroyed by the Empire's bombs. It was a harsh environment, and we were constantly on the brink of starvation.

Just when we thought things couldn't get any worse, the stormtroopers came down, gathering up any survivors to be enslaved.

"We have to split up," Lira said, her voice shaking with fear. "They're going to take us if we stay together."

I didn't want to leave her, but I knew she was right. We parted ways, promising to find each other again if we could.

I evaded the stormtroopers, living off the land and trying to stay hidden. I thought about Lira and my lost family and friends every day, but I knew I had to keep going. I wouldn't let the Empire defeat me.

As the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months, I became more skilled at surviving in the wilderness. I learned how to hunt and gather food, how to build a shelter, and how to navigate the rugged terrain. But I never forgot about Lira and my people. I knew that the Empire would be back and I had to be ready to fight.

One day, I stumbled upon a group of rebels who were also fighting against the Empire. They welcomed me with open arms, and I finally felt like I had found a new family. Together, we planned and executed attacks against the Empire's bases, freeing enslaved citizens and gathering information about their plans.

It's been over a year since the bombardment, and I've managed to survive in the wilderness, but I know it's only a matter of time before the Empire comes for me. But I won't go down without a fight. I'll keep fighting for my freedom, for Jora, and for the memory of those I lost. I'll never stop fighting until the Empire is defeated and my people are free.
