Yay! Chapter 2 is out! It's also a bit longer than chapter 1. Fun! Anyway, enjoy. I'll try to update every week or so now. Again, classes are starting up for me again so, I may not be able to update right on time all the time.

The familiar sound of static rang in Leon's ears. He picked it up to find himself talking to Hunnigan again. He explained that he found the body of one of the police officers that brought him there tied and burned at the stake in the center of town. Unfortunate as that may sound, Hunnigan brought up the fact that finding the missing girl was his main objective. He was then ordered to find a bell tower and follow the trail near it. A beeping noise was heard as they both signed off. Leon began to walk over near the tower as he put away his transmission device again. He passed by some empty houses to find more ammunition and another note, something about an American and a change of plans but keeping the girl separated from the American man. That's what he could get mostly with the chicken scratch. Maybe later, he could find someone who could translate the scratchy handwriting. He finally came up to another gate in the back. He went through to find another dirt path curving downwards to the right. He continued down, gun ready in hand.

He then heard a small rumbling noise. Curiously he looked up to see some more villagers who didn't get the memo that it was church time pushing a giant boulder in his direction.

"SHIT!"

Leon began to run toward the end of the path. He quickly ducked out into the corner at the end as the boulder passed by and smacked against the curved entrance pathway into smaller rocks. He moved from his spot to look back at where the three villagers stood. They quickly realized their act failed and ran off in a direction Leon couldn't see them. He moved forward some more to find an old shed a small bar and another two-story house. The town farmers possibly. He could see some more villagers doing daily tasks such as sweeping or tending the animals in the area. He walked farther up gun in hand as he heard the chickens squawk at each other. That one of the villagers noticed him. With a shovel in hand, he began walking toward Leon. Leon took notice and quickly shot the man. It alerted another around the corner of that opened barn. He quickly shot him in the head and he fell dead. The funky smell in the barn was atrocious. Leon covered his nose in disgust as he looked in a barrel to the side to find some type of liquid infested with maggots. He quickly exited the barn through the next pair of doors to find a different type of unpleasing smell. There in front of him was a small shed with another tub of spoiled liquid. To the left of Leon's side, Was a large barrel wagon, it has seen that most of the extent was coming from it. bodies upon bodies piled in the wagon. All the corpses are almost sickly. He quickly walked away wanting to get away from this stench. The blonde man kept walking and made his way over to the Farmhouse. He walked around the corner to the other side and found a man grabbing hay from a truck parked right next to him and sprinkling it on the ground. Leon stopped as he finished rounding the corner step on a stick that made it loud crunch noise. The man tending to his chicken looked up in surprise. Anger started to contort the man's face as he grabbed a pitchfork lying against the wall. Leon watched as the man murmured something to himself as he slowly approached him. Leon gave no chance though as shot the man a few times in his abdomen and fell instantly. That's when he realized he already alerted two more men inside the house. He shot both before they could reach him too. He stood for a few moments making sure nobody else came. Knowing that the coast was clear, he put his gun back in his holster and decided to look around for more supplies. He found some ammo and some jewelry in the downstairs area. He then remembered seeing a ladder in the house so he walked back to check it out. He found it led "upstairs" and some money lying in the corner. He had no use for it yet but he took it anyway. Leon climbed out a nearby window to find a makeshift wooden pathway attached to the side of the house. It lead to another secluded part of the little farm. He found the door to be locked and only could be opened from the other side. He decided that he would come back later knowing if he had a second person with him, he would be able to pass right through. He waved the thought away as he headed back up. He found a smaller gate at the end of this part of town. Made out of metal instead of thick wood.

Another pathway leading down. Looks like some more walking to do. He found this arched stone tunnel. Walking through he looked up to find two small lights shining at him on the top of the stone ceiling. he quickly shot both of them down to realize that they were both Gems. Spinnel to be exact. He grabbed them at quickly pocketed them. Who knows maybe he could sell them later. He emerged from the end of the tunnel to find a wooden fence right at the exit. He moved forward to the part of the fence that was opened permanently. In front of him were an old rundown house and another right next to him. Back to the house in front of him, he noticed another one of those villagers standing there by the corner in a trance. Leon didn't hesitate to shoot him down. The man fell instantly. Leon moved forward until he heard a loud explosion where he shot the man. Leon quickly trotted over to where the man once stood. Bits of dynamite were laying scattered across the floor. Along with two bear traps hidden in the unkept tall grass. Glad he caught that before he stepped in it.

"SSSSSSS…"

Blue eyes widened. He whipped around to find another man holding igniting more dynamite. He quickly shot the man who was 10 feet away from him. Exploding him in the process. He then checked out the house that was right next to him originally to find two rigged bombs protecting a wooden box on an old shelf inside. He shot it quickly igniting the other. He found some money stuffed inside the box. He moved over to the other rickety house to the front entrance only to find it broken and boarded up. That's when he started to hear a distant noise coming from the house in the back. The sound of constant hard knocking eas being repeated over and over. Before he went to go check out the noise he went to check the other house, he first saw two more men waiting inside the house also with dynamite as he hid right next to a window on the other side. One seemed to be quietly grumbling to himself while the other was muttering to himself. He couldn't quite make it out. Noticing from where he was standing the man inside was at the perfect angle for him to shoot. Leon positioned his gun and fired at the dynamite in the man's hand, exploding both men inside in the process. He peaked his head from the window. Seeing nobody inside he hopped in to check it out. Nothing much to see-he couldn't find many clues about the missing woman. He hopped back out the window and made his way to the last house in the back. The banging noise got louder as he moved closer to the front door. He saw a lock on the door and quickly shot the rusty metal. The door slowly creaked as it opened slightly. Leon cautiously walked in, his gun up prepared to shoot an enemy. The house seemed to be desolate besides the consistent knocking and rumbling sound. Looking around he found himself to be in an abandoned dining room. He found an old pack of bullets that just so happened to be the right ones for his gun. He continued out of the dining room into a hallway to find another red laser connected to a rigged bomb on the wall. He quickly ducked under it to find one more in the next room which seemed to be a living room or at least what was left of one. It was off to the side no need to pay heed to it just as long as he didn't back up into it. Over there saw another old table with some money on it. He quickly collected it to find a bookshelf over to the left side of him. The noise was much louder than before. He decided to push to bookshelf into another corner of the room. It revealed another doorway into the next room. He cautiously stepped in and turned to the corner to find the noise was coming from a singular closet at the end of the mostly empty room. Seemed this room was used for storage. His steps turned into strides as he went to the closet. He pressed his back against the moving closet and reached for the handle. He held his breath as he unlatched it and threw the door open.

THUMP!

"Mmmm...MMmm…MMMMM!"

Leon quickly pointed his gun at the mysterious man that fell out of the closet. The man shook his head furiously seeing the handgun pointed at him. Leon quickly bent down to the tied man on the ground and reached for the ducktape in his mouth.

"Ow…Little rough don't you think" The man hissed. "I think you pulled some of my beard hairs off" The man finished.

"I'll take that as a thank you," Leon spoke as he grabbed the man's arm and turned him over.

The tan man obeyed allowing the blond hair to untie his hands. Once he was done the tan man quickly rolled away and sat up rubbing his wrists.

"I suppose this isn't a trick right? You're not one of them?" The man questioned.

"Nope, you?" Leon questioned back.

The other man sighed, "Okay, I just have one important question."

Leon nodded at the tan man, letting him continue.

"So, do you…got any cigs?"

"I mean, I got gum."

The tan man contemplated his answer standing up. Leon followed suit. Soon heavy footsteps were heard. They both looked up to see two angry townsmen holding pitchforks. Another man came walking in last minute. He stood tall, quite literally and figuratively.

"Perfect…The Big Cheese" The tan-skinned man grumbled.

"What?" The blond hair man asked shocked.

The tall man with pale grey skin and a long black curly beard scowled at the tan man. That's when he made eye contact with the blond man. His scowl turned neutral but Leon could feel the eyes of curiosity drawn on him. He honestly thought he would get a scowl too. He had to think about why that happened later. The blond ran towards the pale grey man and quickly turned to give a back kick. Though the other man had different plans as the caught the other man's kick mid-air.

Leon looked shocked again. Though the man just stood holding Leon's foot in mid-air. Leon started to get impatient as he struggled to get free. The tan man just watched silently in the back.

"Let go!" Leon shouted as reached for the hand holding him captive.

That's when the 'Big Cheese' seemed to pop out of his trance and quickly picked up the foot he was holding onto forcing the blond attached to the foot to begin hanging upside down in the air. The tan man still watched in the back horrified at what he was going to see next. That's when the blond was flipped over now his neck was being held in the pale gray man's hand. The taller man started to squeeze. Leon choked and gasped as he held onto the hand attacking him. The taller man held Leon in his hand for a few moments until the blond finally quieted down. He was now knocked unconscious. The gray-skinned man loosened his grip and handed the sleeping body to the villagers behind him. The tanned-skinned man watched as the blond man was now being held bridal style. One villager held the blond while the other now held two pitchforks. The 'Big Cheese' turned his attention to the tan man still standing quietly in the back.

"Don't suppose you can take me out nicely?" The tan man nervously chuckled.

A low growl sound was heard from the grey man as he lifted his fist and punched the tan man sending him flying into the wall behind him. He was out like a light, slouched over-sitting on the floor once again. He grabbed the man by the collar and began to drag him out. The two villagers followed right behind, the blond still asleep as well.

-At another undisclosed location-

The villager from before walked into this 'lab' type room still holding the blond unconscious man. The same purple-robed man from before stood in the middle his back turned away from the local. Following after was the same grey-skinned man now empty-handed.

"My lord, I have done what you wished" The grey man kneeled to the robed man. The local simply bowed his head staring into nothing.

The purple-robed man turned revealing an empty syringe.

"Thank you, Mr. Mendez. You have done well. Im sure you haven't done any damage to him, correct?" He questioned.

"No, my lord" Mr. Mendez answered quickly looking at the floor.

"Good, you may put him on the gurney," He told pointing at the lab table off to the side. The local nodded as he went to put the American on the table. The robed man walked over to the 'sleeping beauty' laying on the gurney. Not even looking at the local he waved him away. The villager man left.

The robed man continued to look at the sleeping man raising his cold hand to stroke the cheek of the sleeping one. Mendez stood up looking over to what his master was doing with the American. The robed man turned and walked over to a counter holding a series of cups and test cylinders all filled with colorful liquids. Mendez continued to watch as he saw his master moving things around and grabbing other things and missing them together. What he didn't see was his master was almost finished making a purple bubbly liquid. He then watched as he grabbed a knife and pricked his finger. He then hovered his hand over the mysterious purple liquid, dropping his own blood into it. A chemical reaction occurred turning the liquid from purple to vibrant violet.

"Make sure to use the sleeping gas on him." The robed man told as starting filling the syringe. The taller man obeyed connecting a breathing mask to a large tin cylinder. He quickly put the mask up on the sleeping person allowing him to take a few breaths. The man stirred at the unwelcome mask but quickly calmed upon taking in the gas. After he quickly took the mask off turning off the gas. The robbed man turned again heading back to the sleeping man.

"Take off his coat." The man holding the syringe ordered. Mendez obeyed. That's when he noticed the color of the syringe. Mendez's jaw dropped as he dropped the American's coat. Is this what his lord meant by having something different planned in store for the American?

"Master! Do you truly wish to choose him as you're mate? He is a man! There are plenty of beautiful women in the area for you to choose from, do you really-"

"SILENCE!"

Mendez stopped.

"Are you questioning me?" The robed man growled as he lifted his empty hand. Mendez dropped to his knees in pain as he gasped holding his chest.

"No..my Lord…" Mendez managed out. The pain immediately stopped as he stood up slowly still holding his chest. His lord lowered his hand.

"Besides, I know he is a man. He may not be able to hold a fetus-but with this", he held the syringe proudly to his minion. "He will be able to as well as hold Los Illuminados's power!" He exclaimed as he pushed the blond's hair stands away tilting his neck to the side and injecting the serum into his victim's body. The blond continued to sleep as Mendez looked unsure of the circumstances at hand. Mendez then watched as his master pulled out the syringe again to lift the unconscious person to a sitting position.

"Keep him like this"

Mendez obeyed once again holding the unconscious person as told. The robed man went and grabbed the knife he used before and cleaned the leftover blood from himself on his robe as he walked back. The man now holding the knife positioning the man to look down exposing the back of his neck. The robed man grabbed the sleeping person tight fit collar and pulled it down and began carving the religious cult's insignia finishing with what looked like a cross on top of the insignia. Mendez now knew that this American just became an important figure within the cult without an initiation. The cult leader played the knife over on another counter nearby. He watched his sleeping beauty with awe. Realizing now that removing the coat revealed a tight-fit black t-shirt that hugged the man's curves perfectly. He smirked knowing that this was all going to be his soon.

"Mendez"

"Yes, my Lord?"

"Go take him and leave him at the house where you left that scientist. I'll come to retrieve him in a bit I have important work to tend to before I join my new mate. If he wakes make sure he doesn't leave. We both know his mission is to retrieve that brat we have locked up. Make sure to keep them separate and kill that traitor scientist when you have the chance" His Lord finished.

Mendez nodded and quickly bowed grabbing the sleeping blond bridal style once again and disappearing into the doorway.

"Soon my bride…Soon.." The robed man watched as his minion took the unconscious person away. He looked down at the floor moving around the gurney to find the American's jacket still on the floor. A slimy tentacle slithered out from under the robes grabbing the jacket. He quickly sniffed it. He took in the leftover smell of the blond enjoying his natural musk. He decided to keep the jacket.

Leon stirred in his sleep. Dreaming about a pain in his neck and the word power kept echoing in his head. Uncertainty flowed around his brain. He gasped, awaking startled. Taking in the scenery seeing old walls with peeling wallpaper. Old shelves with small cardboard boxes on top. A bunch of sandbags stacked up on another wall along with a shovel laying on the wall. He moved but realized his hand was chained behind him together. He struggled as he moved his leg to find his right leg was chained to another wall closest to him. He moved his leg to find he was given a lot of room to move his leg, he could possibly be able to move around the room had he not been tied up and sitting on the ground. He also realized that a stinging sensation was occurring on the back of his neck. He struggled again to realize his back hit something soft behind him. He turned his kneck to find the tan man from earlier sleeping behind him. He began to nudge the man with his shoulder.

"Hey," Leon spoke. "Hey! …Wake Up!" Leon nudged the other man harder this time. The other tan man lifted his head.

"Ayyy….Crawl out of one hole and into another" The tan man spoke. Leon turned his head facing away from the other man once again.

"So maybe could you start explaining what's going on?" Leon asked.

"Americano, si? Now, what brings a bloke like you to this part of the world?" The tan man chuckled. Leon pulled his wrists again forcing the tan man back a little.

"Whoa-Easy! Whoever you are…"

Leon sighed as he pulled out a picture of a girl from his back pocket. "My name is Leon. I was wondering if you might have seen this girl around here somewhere." The tan man turned and looked at the hand holding the picture on the floor.

"What, are you supposed to be a cop or something?" The tan man joked looking up at the back of Leon's head. "Nah, you don't look the type."

"Hmph…Maybe" Leon joked back.

"Okay let me guess…She's the president's daughter?" The tan man questioned.

"That's too good for a guess. Wanna start explaining?" Leon questioned.

"Psychic powers."

Leon turned his head confused looking at the back of the tan man's curly black hair.

"Nah, just kidding with you, amigo." The curly hair man joked again. "I overheard one of the villagers talking about the President's daughter in the church."

Leon quietly nodded. "So, who might you be?"

"Me llamo, Luis Sera. I used to be a cop in Madrid. Now I'm just a good-for-nothing guy, who happens to be quite the ladies' man."

(Translation for Me llamo: My name is)

"Why'd you quit?" Leon asked.

The tan man scoffed, "Policia...you put your life on the line, and no one really appreciates you enough for it. Being a hero isn't what it's cracked up to be anymore."

Leon began to think back to his past as he spoke, "Used to be cop myself. Only for a day though."

"Psshh, I thought I was bad." The curly-haired man laughed.

"Somehow I managed to get myself involved with the incident in Raccoon City, on my first day in the force," Leon said.

"That is the incident with the viral outbreak right? I think I might have seen a sample of the virus in the lab at my department."

Before Leon continued their lovely conversation a loud bang was heard. Both heads turned towards the metal door that was now open. One of the villagers walked through dragging an axe behind him as he grunted walking toward the two captives.

The tan man began to scootch away dragging the blond along with him. Leon had noticed the local slowly walking toward Luis and not him.

"Voy a matarte" The villager spoke in a low voice.

(Translation: I'm going to kill you)

"Do something cop!" Luis exclaimed, worried for his life.

Leon looked down puzzled about what to do feeling himself get scooted away.

"When I say now, you move forward in front of you, got it?" Leon yelled. Luis nodded.

The local raised his axe into the air, a few seconds away from slashing Luis.

"...NOW!"

Both prisoners pulled on the chains keeping them secured on the ground.

The sound of metal breaking shook in the air. Now free Leon quickly stood up, side-kicking the man to a pulp as he landed on the floor dead. Leon hadn't expected his kick to be that hard but a win nevertheless. He looked around to see Luis just barely getting up. That's when Leon noticed Luis didn't have any chains on his legs. He seemed to be the only one. He couldn't understand it like they knew he was going to get free of his arm bonds so they added an extra chain to keep him there.

"Shit." Leon cursed. Luis continued fixing his sleeves while striding toward the exit. Leon looked up at Luis noticing him about to leave.

"Wait!" Leon asked walking over to the end of the room where Luis now stood. Leon felt he finally met the end of the chain.

"What is it? I kinda want to leave, you know sitting in one place here isn't the best idea" Luis finished looking up at Leon's new awkward standing position. It was then he realized Leon's leg was caught in something. He looked over to find his hostage partner still chained.

"Could you help me get out of this" Leon pleaded annoyed as tugged on the chain once more.

"Man, mi amigo. It sure seems like they want to keep you here." Luis teased walking toward the fallen axe on the ground. Leon stayed quiet unsure of what to say, knowing he was just as confused. Luis grabbed the axe and swung it over his head. "Okay, I'm going to break it" Luis warned.

Another metal-breaking sound was heard which echoed in the room. Leon's foot still had the cuff the chain still around his ankle but the chain keeping him there was completely gone. Glad he could freely move again he thanked Luis.

"You're welcome, okay I got to go goodbye-"

"Hold on, I have one more thing to ask." Leon stopped Luis once again. Luis seemed to start getting annoyed but obliged the blond man's last request. "When I first woke up I realized there was a stinging sensation on the back of my neck, just please could you check to make sure that there is nothing wrong" Leon then turned his back to Luis. Luis thought it was a questionable request but he excused the thought knowing in this place anything could happen. The tan man walked over to the blond.

"Okay, I'm going to check it now" Luis grabbed the tight black collar of the blond man's shirt and pulled it down. Realization kicked in, horrified to see the scar marks of the cult insignia along with a cross on top. He stood quiet. Luis had heard about the religious cult leader having to go find a 'seed bearer' to continue to the next generation. Something he had heard from past co-workers said that whoever was chosen-male or female, would become a 'holy' person and have to stand side-by-side always right next to the cult leader himself to show loyalty and bring 'prosperity' to the cult. A female was more preferred because they were born with what was needed to hold a life but if a male was chosen they give the chosen male a serum of some sort which was given to change their biology just a tiny bit. In the end, males would kind of become hermaphrodites or at least something along the lines of that.

"You've been quiet for too long. What are you seeing? Is it bad?" Leon asked with slight worry.

"I-I...No amigo nothing is wrong. Just looked like you got scratched on your neck really hard."

(I'm sure you guys might already know what amigo means but hears the translation anyway. Translation: Friend)

Luis let go of the collar, allowing it to hug Leon's neck again. Leon turned around to see the worried look still plastered on Luis's face.

"Luis?"

Luis looked at Leon directly noticing his pale blue eyes staring back at his deep brown ones. Luis took a deep breath as he put a helping hand on the blond's shoulder.

"Okay, amigo… I lied… there aren't scratch marks on your neck" Luis finished keeping direct eye contact with Leon.

"Then, what is it?" Leon asked as he brushed Luis's hand off his shoulder.

"You may not believe me when I tell you this," Luis began. "But it seems you were chosen."

"Chosen? Chosen for what?" Leon looked unpleased with the answer. Being chosen for something didn't sound good. "Am I like, an offering to some nasty monster there hiding somewhere in town? Or am I going to be forced to sacrifice my life for something?"

"No. No death of any kind unless you resist. But you were chosen to become the spouse and seed bearer of Osmund Saddler."

See yall next time.
