Author's Note: (Me crawling out of a large hole in the middle of my room. I'm breathing roughly and shirt and pants are in ruin.) Phew! Sorry for the long wait, turns out I gave Lord Primeval to long a chapter so it took awhile for us to break it down….oh and the hole?...don't ask.
Anyway let chapter begin!
Chapter 16: Attack on Infant Island pt. 3
It had been an hour after Anguirus charged into the Elder Wall. Never before had the cleanup crew had as much work to do.
Marcus was ordered to keep watch by the hole for signs of Zeke, Gaira, and Gabara. But since dusk there hadn't been any signs of them. However, he kept watch for Dayo, silently praying for her safe return.
"Marcus?"
Niccolo carefully walked up to him, nervously looking at the wall for any surprise attacks.
"Any sign of them?"
Marcus shook his head.
"No. For all I know that spiked monster might have-"
"But it's the Beast Titan! What kind of animal could kill a Titan?" Niccolo asked trying to cover his worry of that possibility.
"Not an animal, a kaiju remember?"
Marcus looked back towards the jungle.
"These creatures are far more deadly than anything we've ever seen."
"It sounds like you think these monsters are going to wipe out Marley," Niccolo added, causing Marcus to think.
'Maybe it is the least we deserve.'
*BANG! BANG!*
The two turned their heads around.
"It sounded like it came from one of the zones!"
Marcus held is riffle and started running to the direction of the sound.
Niccolo was about to follow, but looked back at the wall
"But shouldn't we keep watch for-?"
"It could be another attack! Come on!"
Commander Nelson lowered his riffle after he fired his gun at the group. He aimed at certain spots to ensure he wouldn't hit the natives. Nelson wasn't shooting to kill, he just wanted to get a response. They didn't even flinch.
They just stood there...eyes shining an azure glow.
"And they haven't done anything else since this started?" Commander Nelson spoke to Cook.
"That's right sir," Cook nodded, keeping his eyes on his superior and off the natives.
"You also said that there was a swarm of insects making a formation in the sky, correct?"
Cook nodded again. Nelson pulled out another cigar and lit it as he looked back at the natives, then back at Cook.
"If we didn't live in a world of giant monsters and devils…I would have accused you of drinking on the job."
Nelson turned back and walked towards the group and stopped in front of a little girl. He then pointed his gun at her forehead.
Nelson smiled at them and spoke calmly.
"Alright savages. Return to your duties or I'll start killing you one by one, starting with this brat."
She nor the rest of the natives reacted, they just stared at Nelson with their shinning blue eyes.
"Sir?"
Nelson turned his head towards Marcus and Niccolo. Marcus stepped forward.
"Sir, is this necessary? They haven't done anything."
"Haven't done anything?" Cook glared at him. "Their eyes glowed! For all we know they could be trying to use their powers on us!"
"But sir, they're just standing there. I think we should focus more on keeping anything from escaping the forest," Marcus said, trying to get everyone's attention away from the Elias.
Commander Nelson removed the gun from the girl's head.
"You're right…Marcus was it?"
Marcus nodded.
"However, these savages have not obeyed a single order. As we've told them countless times: To disobey an order means punishment."
Nelson grabbed Cook by the collar of his shirt.
"I want all Elias locked up, Cook. We'll deal with this as soon as we get a barrier set up. And as for you and your friend there...Marcus: I want your weapons faces faced to the north side. As soon as a monster comes into view, I want it shot at! I. Will. Not. Be. Made a fool of again understand?!"
Not wanting to hear his response, Nelson pushed Cook away. Cook was quick to give out orders to the men to ready all weapons. As this was going on, Marcus looked back to the now destroyed Elder Wall, praying for Dayo's safety.
Kong kept his guard up for any signs of the enemy that dared look like him. Out of all the foes he faced, he really didn't care for that one.
He sniffed the air. He couldn't find his opponent's scent, but something else caught his attention; a smell he was unfamiliar with.
Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of rumbling coming his way. Kong stopped and steadied himself as the source of the commotion came in front of him, and out of the jungle came a round spiked ball.
Kong was ready to swat it but then it surprised him by unfolding itself, revealing Anguirus.
Anguirus began to gasp in heavy breaths. All of that time tumbling was exhausting, and he couldn't breathe in that state. He didn't even see Kong right by him.
Speaking of which, the massive ape didn't know what to make of this strange new thing. Having lived on this island for decades, he knew all creatures that lived here. What was this strange, panting thing?
While looking at Anguirus, Kong noticed the saurian's carapace was littered with loose vegetation ripped from it's roots that entangled itself in his spikes. To the primate's horror, flesh and full bodies of various creatures were also caught in the branches and vines. Some were impaled on his spines, others mashed on the shell. Entire lives destroyed inadvertently by Anguirus rushing into the jungle.
Kong then recalled Mothra's warning of an attacker coming their way. Seeing the death on Anguirus's back, he began to put pieces together. This creature MUST be it! The gorilla saw the reptile as a destructive force whose rampage is heading for his island's goddess.
This he couldn't allow.
Kong pounded his chest and roared at Anguirus, charging towards him. Anguirus took notice, lifting his head to see a furry mass heading towards him.
Anguirus roared at Kong, half heartedly. He didn't know that this was about, all he cared about was catching his breath and continuing his journey. The roar was just to try and scare the colossal mammal away.
It didn't work.
Kong just kept advancing.
He glared at Kong. If this creature was going to stand in his way from finding his friends, then this one won't stand for much longer!
Stomping his front legs, Anguirus lowered his head and hunched to raise his spiny back to his attacker.
Kong was about to pound his fists into Anguirus, but before Kong could react the spiky creature flipped it's body towards him, launching Anguirus's spiny back right at him with all its weight. The force slammed Kong into a rocky outcrop, sandwiching the ape between stone and a sharp carapace.
Even though the stunt only lasted a moment, the pain of sharp spines going into Kong's hide was still strong.
Stunned, Kong lay there with his back to the rock as Anguirus got back on his feet. The dinosaur was satisfied. That should keep this stranger at bay while he continues his quest.
Kong wasn't ready to give up just yet. He stayed still, watching his opponent's tail.
Quickly, Kong grabbed Anguirus by the tail, catching the saurian by surprise. Instantly Kong swung Anguirus's entire body over his head and slammed it into the ground. He repeated the process three more times.
The primate leaped into the air, landing both feet right into Anguirus's stomach. Kong alternated slamming his left and right fists into his foe's unarmored ribs at an alarming speed. Anguirus bit his fangs into Kong's left forearm. Kong tried punching Anguirus in the face with his remaining hand, but it was futile.
Anguirus tugged Kong's arm, forcing the gorilla into the dirt shoulder first. This helped Anguirus flip himself sideways and shove his front paw into Kong's face.
As they struggled, Kong searched for something to use to even the odds with his free hand. He found it; a stone loosened from the outcrop moments before! He slammed the rock into Anguirus's face, freeing Kong's hand from the creature's maw.
Kong got up and kicked Anguirus in his exposed underbelly. In retaliation, Anguirus tripped the beast with his tail.
Anguirus wanted to get out of the situation quickly and get back to finding his friend, so he tried to flee.
Kong learned from the first time and got back on his feet. He leapt up into the air again and again in attempt to slam into Anguirus as he ran. Eventually, Kong landed right in front of Anguirus. Kong grabbed Anguirus by the shoulders, forcing the dinosaur to stop.
The two used the peak of their strength to hold the other in place. Anger shown in their eyes, both fueled by a similar purpose.
Fine, Anguirus figured. If killing this opponent is what it takes, so be it.
"This is the last one," Mikasa said after slicing the last cocoon.
She saw a hand sticking out. As she pulled it, surprise took over seeing it attached to a little girl no older than 5.
Is Marley truly cruel enough that they'd turn a child into a titan?
Mikasa glared.
'Of course they would'
"And they call us devils." She whispered harshly.
She shook the girl's arm by the wrist, causing the child to wake up in her arms. The youngster immediately started crying, burying her in Mikasa's shirt.
Mikasa tried her best to sooth the child.
"I want my Mommy!" the child cried.
All Mikasa could do was hold her and comfort her as best as she can.
"Just when I thought I couldn't dislike those Marley guys more they pull a new one," Randy added.
He helped Jean pull a young woman the same age as Mikasa out of the silk.
"Ok, she was the last one," Jean said, guiding her with her fellows that were cured.
The victims all huddled together using the silk of the webs as security blankets.
Armin looked at them. Many of them were elders, some young adults and three children, counting the one Mikasa freed.
He watched as Moll and Lora stood in front of the group as Mikasa carried the child to them. Lora motioned her to place the girl in front of the others. Gently, Mikasa put the crying girl down as the twin's eyes glowed a bright blue again as they raised their hands over the group and stared to sing.
(Author's Note: The song is Sacred Springs form Godzilla vs Mothra 1992)
Moll and Lora: Naiintindihan mo ba? (Do you understand?)
Mayroon doong magandang balon (There is a beautiful well there)
Punta, ka lang dito (Just come here, Just come here)
Halika, at maupo (Come and sit)
Halika, at maupo (Come and sit)
As they sang, the victims, who lived in a never-ending nightmare for who knows how long, started to calm.
A feeling of peace radiated from the words. If you asked each one, they would swear that they could hear music all around them. The little girl ceased her crying and started breathing softly as the song soothed her body and soul.
"Amazing," Sanda watched as he too felt the calming effect of the song.
HRAAAAAAAH-HA!
GAAAAAROOOOO!
The sound of thrashing and rumbling startled all but the twins as they turned to the direction of the ruckus. It was difficult to make out muddled sounds, but they noticed in the same path that Kong and Mothra went.
"It.. it's the Thunder Guardian!" Dayo said with a worried tone. "Something is attacking him, but...I've never heard that sound before.
Armin listened carefully. Suddenly, it dawned on him.
"Hey, didn't that sound like... Anguirus?" Armin asked.
"WHAT?!" Jean and Mikasa said in unison.
"Umm, what on earth is a...An...Angilas?" Dayo asked.
"One of ours," Randy said. "Think of him as OUR island's Thunder Guardian."
"Yeah," Sanda nodded. "B-but w-w-why is he h-h-here?"
The Twins closed their eyes for a second. Lora opened her eyes in shock, the blue glow fading.
"Oh no! He must have heard my call out for help."
"What call for help?" Moll asked.
"It was... during the storm, when I fell overboard from the Gotengo! I let out a cry with my mind. I didn't know what else to do. I didn't...I had no idea the call could go that far! Poor thing swam all the way out here because of me."
Moll placed her hand on her sister in comfort.
"He came here to help us," Mikasa said. "No doubt he sees Kong as an enemy."
"We must stop them!" The twins said at once and already started running towards the fight.
"Wait, we should stay together!" Jean shouted but the twins already were out of sight.
They rushed through the jungle and soon Dayo ran after them causing Jean to groan.
"Damn it! Can nobody stay still for a second?!"
"What do we do?" Armin said looking at the huddled people clearly terrified of the roars. "We can't just leave them alone."
Jean looked at them and rubbed his face in frustration.
"Okay, you and Mikasa follow them while Randy, Sanda, and I guide these people to the cave with the others."
Armin and Mikasa nodded as they activated their 3D Gears to catch up with Dayo and the Twins.
Dayo kept running, trying to catch up to them but it seemed like they were running as fast as lighting. Truly Mosura has blessed them!
Soon Dayo spotted the twins, as well as Mothra!
Mothra had stopped in her tracks as the jungle started to shake.
Massive trees collapsed as Kong fell on his back, being knocked by a large round object. To Dayo's shock the object unrolled itself and became a spike-backed reptile.
"Is that...Angilas?" Dayo asked.
The twins as they nodded sadly.
Banging his chest, Kong ran to punch his foe in the face with his left fist, only for Anguiurs to dodge by rolling to his right side, missing the punch.
Anguirus warped his tail around Kong's arm and pulled, making the gorilla fall on his face.
Enraged, Kong was already starting to stand up only to painfully be knocked back down by Anguirus, running over him with his spiked.
"You have to stop him!" Dayo begged but Moll and Lora shook their heads.
"That will do no good," Lora said.
Moll nodded.
"Once Anguirus sets his sights on a foe, he won't stop till he wins."
"He is very stubborn," Lora sighed.
Anguirus immediately made a U-turn, about to ram Kong again. The ape quickly dodged the assault. Anguirus kept rolling in a circular formation. He couldn't hear Kong calling in pain anymore, so he unfurled himself.
He looked on the ground around him. Nobody in sight. Anguirus could smell Kong, but couldn't see him. He kept his guard up. It couldn't be that easy...right?
Above the Ankylosaur, in the branches of the gigantic tropical trees, Kong stayed still. While Anguirus was searching, the gorilla noticed a single enormous, cantaloupe-like fruit growing on a branch next to him.
With the skill of a surgeon Kong twisted the fruit, as pulling it would make too much noise. Successful in removing his prize from the branch, Kong took aim and threw it into another tree, causing a commotion above Anguirus's head.
In response, Anguirus rolled towards the tree where the fruit hit, knocking it down as well as three others. Anguirus uncoiled and stuck his tail in the air ready to strike.
Just what Kong was hoping for.
Kong jumped from his perch, grabbing Anguirus by his tail while midair and planting his feet onto the soil. Just as Anguirus knew what happened, Kong released an electric shock on the armored kaiju.
Anguirus bellowed in pain as the electric surge spread all over his body to the point of nearly paralyzing him. Kong kept the current going, Anguirus gritting his teeth in agony.
However, his strong determination allowed Anguirus to slowly turn around to look at Kong. The light of the crackling energy highlighted the fury in Anguirus's eyes.
Kong was surprised that this creature was fighting through the pain.
Anguirus glared at his foe, and started to take a deep breath.
The twin's eyes widened, they turned to Dayo in alarm.
"Dayo, cover your ears!"
Without question, Dayo quickly covered her ears just in time.
GAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOO!
Anguirus let loose his sonic roar. Even thought he wasn't close enough to make deafen Kong, it was still loud enough to make the ape let go of the tail and cover his own ears.
The loud blast allowed Armin and Mikasa to catch up with Dayo and the Twins just as Anguirus stopped.
Kong managed to stand up. Ignoring the ringing in his ear he roared at Anguirus.
Anguirus in turn, despite still feeling weak from the electric shock, stood his ground and roared back.
Finally having enough, Mothra moved a little closer to the two and screeched at them.
Despite the ringing in his ear, Kong managed to hear Mothra and calmed a little, but Anguirus turned to the larva and looked at her suspiciously.
The larva chirped at the two like a teacher lecturing two students after a fight. Kong bowed his head in shame.
But Anguirus was still on a mission, he roared at the larva and was about to attack her.
'Anguirus, don't!'
Anguirus paused and finally took notice of Armin, Mikasa, Moll, and Lora by Mothra. Since he has stopped fighting, he allowed the twins to communicate with him.
'We are alright, Anguirus,' Lora smiled.
'These two are our friends, Anguirus,' Moll assured him. 'You don't have to fight them.'
Seeing the members of his family safe, Anguirus sighed in relief and relaxed a little. But he still growled at Kong.
Kong glared back at him, only for Mothra to chirp at him again in disapproval making the ape winch.
"So wait, Mothra told Kong that Anguirus was the threat that would attack the base?" Armin asked.
The Twins shook their heads.
"Anguirus isn't the threat Mothra warned him about."
Mikasa looked back at the kaiju as Kong continued forward before asking the obvious question.
"Then what IS the threat?"
STOMP!

.
STOMP!
Nelson stood on top of the outer wall while on both sides of him rows upon rows of machine guns are armed and ready. Waiting below, inside the base is the latest instalment of weapons that were modeled off of the Middle Eastern Alliance's anti-Titan tanks.
They could only be supplied with five of these; with three facing the outer wall and the other two facing the Elder Wall, a very limited number but if these could bring down a Titan then it should be no trouble to take down a kaiju.
'This creature, whatever it is, will die like the rest of them,' Nelson thought.
In his confidence he was oblivious to the dark clouds already hovering over them like an omen.
The soldiers could feel it but kept their sights, ready to fire their weapons on command.
All was quiet, save for the stomping.
STOMP!

The soldier's tensed when the footsteps ceased. They could hear growling. Through the darkness they could see a pulsing red glow. Then from the clouds a bolt of lighting struck the wall, frightening the soldiers.
(Author's Note: Play Return of Godzilla from King Kong vs Godzilla)
Standing 55 meters in height the creature stands tall, its body sharp and rigid. Its tail long with a sharp spike at the end of it, dorsal plates sharp like a row of swords. The creature's face brandished sharp teeth in its maw, but the eyes were what the soldiers really noticed.
Pure red. No signs of pupils upon it, with a sign of rage on it's face.
They all knew that this was the creature responsible for all the attacks on almost every Marely outpost across the world.
The Great Predator.
Godzilla.
(Author's Note: For a better idea of the design, google Marco Peccon Godzilla Final Wars concept art)
GGGGGGYYYYYYYAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN!
"FIRE!" Nelson shouted, with a hint of fear.
At his command, the cannons upon the wall fired at Godzilla. However, as the barrage of bullets hit their target the shells only managed to shatter on his scaled hide.
The dorsal plates started to glow white, illuminating himself through the darkness. Godzilla's mouth glowed and his eyes glared upon the soldiers on the wall.
Nelson noticed this. It was like the creature was glaring at him.
Fear overtook the Commander. Just as he was about to abandon his soldiers out of fear…
Godzilla fired.
The sounds of a large explosion echoed across the island, a mushroom cloud could be seen even from far across the sea.
Commander Nelson was dead. Now Cook was in charge, and he felt this was the worst time for it.
At once Godzilla smashed through the wall, some of the soldiers already started running while the rest were petrified at the sight and power of this monster.
Cook shook that fear off and fired his pistol in the air.
"DON'T YOU STAND THERE, YOU BASTARDS! FIRE ALL WEAPONS!"
The frozen soldiers acted at once and started firing the tanks on Godzilla as the monster just continued walking through the base like one would be walking through a field of grass, crushing anything in its path.
Onyankopon looked at it in terror, but then his gaze turned to Yelena who was heading to the hole at the Elder Wall.
"Yelena, where are you going? We have to follow the other soldiers out of here!" Onyankopon shouted through the sounds of fire.
Yelena turned to shout back, "WE HAVE TO FIND ZEKE!"
She turned back and saw a large shadow coming out of the jungle beyond the Elder Wall.
"Zeke?!" she shouted.
Out of the jungle came Kong running towards the wall. Yelena would have been trampled by the ape if Onyankopon hadn't pushed her and himself out of the way as the ape knocked even more out the Elder wall.
Kong searched around and spotted Godzilla destroying the base, the rays from his mouth sending soldiers flying in the air or burning them alive. Kong then spotted the Zones where the Elias people were being contained...
...and that Godzilla was nearing it!
Kong roared and headed straight to him while Onyankopon stood up and looked at the ape in awe.
"So, I guess that's the one that was giving us trouble here huh?"
He turned to Yelena who was already running into jungle. Onyankopon cursed and reluctantly ran after her.
Godzilla swung his tail at a pair of tanks sending them flying; one landing and smashing the now deceased Commander Nelson's cabin and the other crashing in the jungle.
Niccolo was in a panic. This was the monster that he read about in newspapers and military reports. They all said hardly anyone survived an encounter with this beast!
He looked at the riffle in his hand and knew that this was useless. He was useless against that kaiju!
He was going to run when he saw Marcus running to the Elias Designated Zones. He moved towards him and managed to stop him by grabbing his shoulder.
"What are you doing?!"
"I'm going to get those people away from here!" Marcus shouted.
"Don't you see that thing?"
Niccolo pointed at Godzilla.
"Its headed there! We have to head for the emergency docks before it's too late!"
Marcus pushed Niccolo away from him.
"You go! We've taken their island, made them slaves, but I'm not going to leave them to die!"
Niccolo watched in shock as Marcus ran to the zone, despite everything that was happening.
Was he mad? Risking his neck for these people? This wasn't what Marlyan soldiers are supposed to do! So why the hell was he following him right now?!
'I MUST BE MAD!' Niccolo thought as he ran after his partner.
Godzilla roared as he continued his march, all the soldiers running from and or firing upon him. He proceeded to fire upon them in kind. Just as he was about to let loose another atomic breath a metal structure was tossed at his face. Ceasing the atomic charge, he turned his head at his attacker, Kong.
Kong beat his chest and issued a challenge to the intruder, but Godzilla turned away from him as if he wasn't even there.
Enraged at this Kong grabbed another piece of the destroyed metal wall and tossed it at Godzilla's head, but before it could make contact the intruder's tail knocked it away and sending it to the jungle.
Angered by this, Kong charged up what remaining electrical powers. He was going to make this foe regret turning his back on him. He rushed over, ignoring the man-made structures that collapsed beneath his hairy feet.
With electric bolts sparking from his chest, hands, and teeth he grabbed Godzilla's tail and immediately released an electric jolt onto Godzilla.
The reptilian behemoth bellowed in pain.
Mothra arrived just in time along with Moll, Lora, Dayo, Mikasa, and Armin safely ridding on Anguriurs' head as they witnessed the.
"Wh-what is that thing?" Dayo trembled at the sound of Godzilla's roar.
"It's Godzilla!" Armin answered, "He's alive!"
"But he looks different than last time," Mikasa observed noticing the great predator's new form.
"There's something wrong with him," Mikasa and Armin turned to Moll as she and Lora looked at Godzilla worryingly.
Godzilla roared in pain and anger as he tried to free his tail from Kong's grasp but ape held tightly on it. He tried to turn but the electric charge prevented him from turning around.
Kong then started to pull back in hopes of moving Godzilla away from the area and away from the Elias people that were still here, but as he pulled he was barely able to move him a couple of feet, but still Kong continued.
The ape kaiju took notice that Godzilla's dorsal plates started to glow white.
"Oh no," Armin knew what comes next.
"What?" Dayo asked.
"When Godzilla's dorsal plates glow it means he's going to release a powerful fire attack from his mouth," Mikasa explained.
"But Kong should be safe," Dayo said. "He's facing away from his mouth."
Despite the glow of plates, Kong kept pulling. But as he made one last tug on Godzilla's tail, to the surprise of all, a multitude of beams were fired from Godzilla's dorsal plates each one striking at different places on Kong's body. From his sides, shoulders, legs, and stomach, the contact from each beam caused Kong to release his grip and fall on the ground.
"The hell!?" Armin shouted as Mikasa shared his shocked expression.
"Isn't that something he could do before?" Dayo asked, but no one could give her an answer.
Furious, Godzilla turned around and roared at Kong. Kong while in pain from the strange assault stood up and roared back at Godzilla.
Now Kong had Godzilla's attention.
Instantly the two charged at each other. Claws scratching fur from flesh, an electric fist striking the hard scaly skull, each one dealing a powerful blow to the other and neither one backing down like two sumo wrestlers. They each held a grip with the other as they trampled thorough the base.
At this was happening, Mothra started moving away from the group and towards the two combatants.
"What is she doing?" Armin asked.
"She's going to try and convince Godzilla to leave," Moll and Lora both said.
"This is not going to go well," Mikasa said.
Anguriurs lowed his head down to the ground.
"Angurius wants to help Mothra," The Twins said as they hopped off allowing the others to follow.
"Good! Then I'll go help my people," Dayo said already sprinting to the Elias zones.
"Wait what about the Marely soldiers?" Armin said but saw Mikasa following Dayo.
"I think they might have other things to worry about," she said.
Armin sighed and followed his friend while Moll and Lora stayed where they were, not keeping their eyes off of Mothra.
"This way! Everyone, evacuate this way!" Marcus shouted.
He and Niccole opened the fence separating Elias interment zone from the rest of the base. It was easy since the guards have either fled, been trapped under rubble, or have been killed by Godzilla.
Niccole watched as many of the natives stopped to carry their young children, elderly, and wounded out but was more surprised on how calm they were evacuating, almost like they weren't in any real danger.
'What is wrong with these natives?'
"It's because Mothra is here!"
Niccole jumped in surprise while Marcus smiled at the Elias girl coming behind them.
"Dayo!"
Niccole was even more surprised when Marcus ran up to this Dayo and the immediately began kissing.
"Are you alright? What happened?"
Marcus held Dayo's shoulder and began to look over her for any signs of damage.
"It's alright," Dayo smiled. "Have the rest of my people escaped?"
"Looks like it."
Marcus looked back at the Zone.
"I just want to check it out to be sure."
"Maybe they've already escaped," Niccole said watching Godzilla and Kong fighting get very close to them.
"I still think we should check to be sure."
"Marcus, there's only three of us!"
"Make that five!" said woman's voice.
Niccole saw the black-haired woman and blonde-haired man running towards them, but they weren't natives and they weren't Marley soldiers.
"Are...you two Lora's friends?" Marcus asked.
Armin and Mikasa looked at the Marley soldiers, uneasy but Dayo looked at them with a smile.
'Don't worry, you can trust him.'
Armin nodded.
"Yes, and will help you."
"Wait a second!"
Niccole quickly held up his riffle and pointed at Armin and Mikasa.
"I've read about those objects on their waist. I know who they are, they're devils from Paradis Island!"
Before Mikasa could pull her blades out, Marcus stepped in front of them and knocked the riffle out of Niccole's hand.
"You idiot! We need their help!"
Niccole looked at Marcus as if he grown a second head.
"What? Didn't you hear me?! They're from PARADIS!"
Marcus grabbed Niccole's head.
"Niccole, what should you be more scared of, them?"
He made Niccole look at Armin and Mikasa.
"Or that!?"
"Now is not the time for this!" Armin shouted, getting everyone's attention. "We have to hurry and check for anyone left behind!"
Mikasa nodded as she and Armin ran ahead into the zone while Dayo looked back at Marcus and Niccole before following them.
Marcus released Niccole and grabbed his riffle. Niccole was expecting Marcus to shoot him; no doubt he's under the control of that native girl's powers. Instead, he gave the riffle back to him and was already to follow Dayo, but not before looking back at Niccole.
"Do what you want, I won't stop you. But I'm going to help people no matter what they are."
Niccole watched him go. His expression was completely dumbfounded. Just what the hell is going on? First, monsters start appearing all over the world, then Godzilla, then he was transferred to an island of psychic natives, and now the first nice person he meets on this god forsaken island is in love with one of them and is willing to work with devils?
What the hell is going on in this world?!
He placed his hand on top of his helmet, the kind that was given to prevent the islanders from reading minds. He checked if it was still on.
'It's still on…so why the hell am I about to do this!?'
Niccole ran after them, completely forgetting that he dropped his riffle.
Godzilla and Kong continued their struggle against each other. Godzilla would bite down on Kong's shoulder and Kong would slam his fist into his sides but neither one would release the other.
Then Godzilla released a nuclear pulse, thus forcing Kong to let go of him and also for Godzilla to let out an atomic breath onto his chest, pushing the ape painfully down on the ground.
As Kong roared in pain, Godzilla walked up to him and was ready to let out a more powerful blast from his jaws.
Cheerrnntt!
Godzilla paused and turned around for the source of the new roar and spotted a larva around the height of his knee crawled towards him.
Godzilla snarled at the new kaiju while Kong managed to crawl up and saw Mothra in front of Godzilla. He was ready to charge at him but Mothra chirped softly at him, telling him to stand down. Kong obeyed as Mothra started a conversing with Godzilla.
Mikasa and Armin both stopped their search as they witnessed the strange site of Mothra talking to Godzilla.
"I wonder what she's saying to him?" Armin asked aloud.
"She's trying to get him to leave the island in peace."
Armin and Mikasa jumped and turned around to see Moll and Lora behind them.
'Shit, that was fast!' Armin thought. "So, is it working? Is Godzilla going to listen?"
Moll and Lora looked at Godzilla, the mighty kaiju was just looking at Mothra as the divine worm continued to plead with him. All the while Godzilla's chest continued pulsing red.
The twins closed their eyes and reached into Godzilla's mind but suddenly they reeled back in pain. Both fell to their knees, clenching their heads.
"Lora? Moll?" Armin said, rushing to their side. "What's happening?!"
The twins writhed in pain in the dirt, screaming.
Author's Note: What an awesome kaiju battle right? Also what do you guys think of Godzilla's new form? I personally call it Sprit Godzilla myself, why you might guess? Well you'll find out in the next chapter, don't worry it won't take a month or year to finish.
