So, the votes are in and the mailman will not be a hybrid. Anyway, updates will be a bit slow for now, since I have other stories to work on and I'm about to do my finals for college. If you are new, Zane is the only hybrid on the team and he's a snow leopard hybrid, also please read Way of the Ninja first. It explains my entire hybrid universe. I can explain it again if need be. Anyway, I hope Y'all enjoy my story.

Long before time had a name, the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago using the four elemental weapons. But when he passed, a dark presence sought out to collect them all: Lord Garmadon.

So I Sensei Wu, his brother, sought out to find four ninja to collect them first. (Not gonna lie. Watching the first episodes brings back memories from when this show came out.)

It has been a few weeks since Lord Garmadon has been banished to the Shadow Realm. Peace was all over Ninjago.

Sensei Wu was meditating with his spirit smokes. He was also prepared for danger throughout Ninjago but he just hoped the ninja were prepared. Suddenly, he was taken out of his thoughts by the ninja's shouting.

"Fire Strike!" Sensei Wu lifted his head at the sound of Kai's voice. "Oh, my gosh, is that the greatest move you've ever seen?"

"Stop trying to do it yourself. We need to attack as a team," Cole told them.

Sensei Wu went outside to the training room and it was bare. No one was training. He looked all around for them but he could not find them but he could hear them

"Two things, Zane. One, why are you using your special attack on me? Second, be careful to not scratch that with your claws," Jay said.

"My apologies, sometimes, my claws have a mind of their own."

Sensei Wu could hear the ninjas grunting as if they were fighting but if they weren't in the training room, then where were they? He walked out and followed the sound of their voices which lead him to the video game room.

"Fantastic, I'm out of lives," Jay said annoyed.

"But the lesson and I think I am getting the hang of it," Zane said with a bit of joy in his voice.

"Okay, now!" Cole shouted.

Without any of the ninja noticing, Sensei Wu went behind the TV and unplugged it, much to their dismay. They all groaned in disappointment. "What happened?" Jay asked.

"It took us three hours to get there!" Cole complained.

"Why would you do that? Why?" Jay asked annoyed.

"Just because Lord Garmadon escaped through a vortex doesn't mean he won't return one day for the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu," Sensei Wu told them in a serious voice.

"But Sensei Wu, ever since he's been gone, Ninjago has had nothing but peace. Well, as peaceful as it can be." Truth be told, even though Zane helped stop Lord Garmadon, there were some people who still didn't care for hybrids. Sure, they weren't that famous yet but it would be nice if humans and hybrids started to get along more then Ninjago would truly be at peace.

"Yeah, peace if boring. There's no one to save. There's nothing to do," Jay told him casually. Unbeknownst to the ninja, a piece of pizza was sizzling on the Sword of Fire behind them.

"We can train tomorrow," Cole told him as he laid down.

"Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today."

"Well, I was gonna eat this pizza tomorrow, so if that's the case..."

Cole tried to eat the pizza in his hands but Sensei Wu kicked it away. "No pizza for you!" He spun back to his original spot and said, "In order to reach your full potential, you must train."

"Uh, remember when we did a little thing called the Tornado of Creation? I thought that was pretty insane," Kai said with a smirk on his face.

Sensei Wu sighed. "You four have merely scratched the surface to your full potential. There are still so many secrets you have yet to unlock. You haven't even begun to tap into what powers your golden weapons hold." Sensei Wu was talking to the ninja, but none of them were paying attention. Kai was eating a slice of pizza, Zane was lying back with his tail flickering back and forth, Jay was on his stomach playing with the game controller, and Cole was causally lying back with his feet propped up. He was glad that they all trusted each other, even Zane who already had a hard time trusting other humans and even the other ninja including himself and Nya, but even this was a bit much for him.

"You wanna talk about secret powers? Check this out," Cole said as he grabbed the Scythe of Quakes. He used it to pick up the plug to the TV and he plugged it back in with his weapon.

The ninja returned to their video game as much to Sensei Wu's dismay and disappointment. He brushed his long white mustache with his hands as Zane said, "Don't worry, master. We will be ready when Lord Garmadon returns."

Just as Zane finished that sentence, and with the flickering of his ear, Nya came running into the room shouting, "Guys, Lord Garmadon, he's returned! He was spotted approaching Jamanakai Village."

Sensei Wu had a look of worry and all of the ninja rushing to get up quickly. Kai tripped over a wire and ran into Jay and they both fell onto the ground. Cole tripped over Zane's tail causing him to fall to the ground and Zane to fall to the ground on his butt. Cole quickly grabbed the Scythe of Quakes and Zane grabbed the shurikens of ice then the two left after putting their hoods on. Nya walked over to Jay and handed him the Nunchucks of Lightning. "Uh, th-thanks, uh..."

"Hurry!"

"Okay!" Jay ran out along with Kai after putting their hoods on.

They all ran outside their dragon pens. Kai opened the pens and one of the doors nearly crushed Zane but he was able to stop it before it did any real damage. Cole ran and jumped onto his dragon, Rocky, but the Scythe of Quakes fell off from his back. Jay tried to jump on his dragon, Wisp, but he failed and jumped onto his head then fell flat on his face on the ground.

Sensei Wu watched from the sidelines and shook his head. 'They have much to learn.'

"Uh, can I help?" Nya asked Kai.

Kai jumped onto Blaze and told Nya, "Sorry, sis, where we go, danger abounds. This is the job for the ninja." Kai tried to bend down and grab the reins but he wasn't able to. "Uh... uh, a little help? heh-heh." Nya handed him the reins and off they flew to Jaamankai Village to stop Lord Garmadon.

Nya walked over to Sensei Wu's side and asked, "Will they ever reach their full potential?"

"In time. Maybe long time, but in time."

"Just like old times, eh, Rocky?" Cole asked his dragon who did a small roar in agreement.

"You guys believe what sensei said about unlocking our full potential?" Kai asked.

"He may be onto something. I mean, since we got these golden weapons, it's not like we've ever had to use them," Jay said as he took out the Nunchucks of Lightning.

"I, for one, look forward to the future. If there is more for us to accomplish, let it be. It would be nice for all of Ninjago to be at complete peace with no fighting."

"Don't know about you, but is anyone else a little excited about battling Lord Garmadon. I've been looking forward trying out some new Spinjitzu moves," Cole said as he jumped into the air and did a little spin then back down to Rocky. "Could be the perfect opportunity."

"Ha-ha. Race you there?" Jay asked.

Everyone started to have their dragons go faster to win the race except for Zane. While he was going about as faster as the others, he was fine with being a little bit behind. He liked the wind blowing in his ear and on his tail. It was very calming for him.

The four did various tricks with their dragons as they flew through the clouds and over mountains until Kai nodded to Jay as he spotted Jamanakai Village. "Jamanakai Village. First ninja there wins!" Kai had Blaze go faster as the others joined him in having their own dragon go faster.

The dragons landed right outside the village and they started to fight about who won the race.

"Ha! I was first," Kai bragged.

"No! No one was faster than me," Jay told him.

"My feet were down before yours," Cole told Zane.

"I am part cat so naturally, I landed on my feet first as I always do."

They stopped their fighting at the sound of the villagers screaming and closing the doors to their homes and stores. Many dragonfly and bird hybrids flew into the clouds to hide from Lord Garmadon. A large shadow figure was behind a small mountain pass near the village and was waving his arms evilly.

The ninja came out with their weapons at the ready. They could hear Lord Garmadon's evil laughter as he approached Jamanakai Village. "Stay sharp, fellas. Whatever happens, never let your guard down," Kai told them.

The laughter died down and the large shadow was revealed to be a young boy in a black skeleton hoodie with a green S on the top left corner. "It is I, Lloyd Garmadon!" He jumped onto the fountain and shouted, "I demand all the candy in town, or else!"

"Lloyd Garmadon? I thought we were gonna face Lord Garmadon," Jay said confused.

"It's his son," Cole told him. Jay sighed in defeat. "Looks like he escaped his boarding school for bad boys again. And to think we could have been doing Spinjitzu already." Cole stepped forward with the others following to get Lloyd before he caused any more unnecessary trouble.

"Uh, give me your candy, or else I'll release the Serpentine on you!" Lloyd shouted clearly getting nervous now.

Everyone in Jamanakai Village had come out of hiding, including the dragonfly and bird hybrids hiding in the sky and started to through food at the young Garmadon.

The villagers jeering at him even when he opened a can of fake snakes and shot them at everyone. They soon started to throw vegetables at him. "Unh! No, wait! I asked for candy, not vegetables! I hate vegetables!" He shouted as he threw the now empty toy can at them.

Kai picked up a fake green snake and said, "He's gonna have to do a lot better than use an old bedtime story to scare people." He shot the fake rubber snake into the air like a rubber band once he finished his sentence.

"The Serpentine are real, Kai. As a hybrid who has heard many stories about them, many of which have yet to be recorded or proven, they are not something to joke about. Many snakes hybrids truly fear their return," Zane told him.

"Serpentine? Real? We're talking about the ancient race of snake people who once rules Ninjago, and were supposedly locked underground?" Kai said.

"Uh, sealed in five different tombs to separate the warring tribes, and ensure they don't unify to exact their revenge upon those who put them there," Jay said with fear in his voice.

Kai, still not believing it, says, "It was an old wives' tale to teach kids not to poke our noses where they don't belong. Don't you think it's a little suspicious no one's ever found one of their tombs?"

"That's because you'd be a fool to look for one," Cole told him and he continued talking and they all grabbed Lloyd. "If there was anything I hated more than dragons, it was snakes, not snake hybrids, but real snakes, rubber or not."

Each ninja grabbed one part of Lloyd's body, Kai and Zane had the feet and Cole and Jay had the upper body. "Hey! Bow down to me or suffer my wrath! I'll give you to the count of three. One, two..."

"What are we supposed to do? Spank him?" Kai asked.

"Two and a half."

To make things even more embarrassing for Lloyd, they hung him by his cape on a sigh above the candy shop. He screamed in anger and discomfort as he shouted, "You've just made me your nemesis! Mark my words, you'll pay for this!"

The ninja, along with the rest of the village, just laughed at the young Garmadon who was screaming threats that didn't bother them one bit. Zane then removed his hood and bought the candy from a nice old turtle hybrid that was selling the candy. Zane came back with lollipops, cotton candy, a chocolate bar, a candy cane, and various other candies for them to enjoy.

The other removed their own hoods to enjoy the candy that Zane brought them. "Next time, try paying for your candy," Cole told him.

"Crime doesn't pay, muchacho. You can take that to the bank," Kai told him.

Jay ate a bit of his cotton candy and said, "Hmm, cotton candy."

Lloyd grunted in anger but eventually gave up.

Later, everyone in the village returned to their normal duties and the ninja returned to their dragons. Kai adjusted his bag then jumped onto his dragon but a scroll fell out of the bag. Zane picked it up and handed it back to Kai. "Huh? I don't remember putting this here."

Zane sniffed it and said, "That is Sensei's bag. You must have accidentally taken it in the rush."

Kai opened the scroll and looked at it while Jay asked, "What is it?"

"It's a scroll, windbag," Cole told him.

"I know it's a scroll. But what does it say? It's written in chicken scratch," Jay said as he and Zane gathered around Kai to read the scroll.

"Not chicken scratch. The ancient language of our ancestors," Zane told them.

"Uh, can you read it?" Kai asked hoping he didn't offend Zane. He had been told that Zane knew how to read and write a bit but was still trying to get better at it.

"Well, I can try. I have read a few of Sensei's old books to improve my reading skills." Kai showed Zane the scroll a bit more and he started to read it as best as he could. He pointed to one symbol, without touching the paper with his claws. "This symbol means prophecy?"

"Prophecy?" Jay asked.

"It means it tells the future," Kai told him.

"Course. Ha-Ha! I knew that."

Zane continued to read as the scroll revealed four ninjas wearing blue, red, black, and white surrounding one ninja wearing green. "One ninja will rise above the others and become the Green Ninja, the ninja destined to defeat the dark lord."

"Oh, look a picture!" Jay said excitedly.

"Dark lord? Hold on. You think they mean Lord Garmadon?" Cole asked shocked. (No joke. This sounds like Cole. If you rewatch the episode, this line sounds like Cole because the next line is Kai's)

"Wait a minute. Is that us? Is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking?" Kai asked.

"Like how good I'm gonna look in green?" Jay asked with confidence in his voice.

"Ha! Isn't it obvious I'm gonna be the Green Ninja?" Kai said.

"The color obviously suits me," Jay countered back.

Zane would have said something but decided to stay out of it. He didn't want to become the Green Ninja. Sure, he was good but he didn't think that he was that good, especially at fighting Lord Garmadon. That fight should be left to someone else, he was just happy being a hero to the hybrids of Ninjago who needed a hero like him right now.

"Guys, stop it! Remember why sensei brought us together in the first place: we're a team. We weren't meant to see this and probably for good reason," Cole told them as Kai handed him the scroll. "Come on, let's head back home. We have training to do."

Everyone returned to their dragons and as Jay jumped onto Wisp, he said, "It's about time I added some finesse to my routine."

"I could use some exercise," Zane added as he jumped on Shard.

"Yeah, I've gotta work on some new moves," Cole added.

The three flew away leaving Kai behind who whispered to himself, "Could I be the Green Ninja?"

Lloyd got off the sign after a while and was currently traveling through some snowy mountains muttering angrily to himself. He kicked a rock on the mountain as he said, "Stupid ninja. I'll show them who they're dealing with." He continued to kick rocks until he heard a metal clang. 'This is definitely not normal.' He ran over to the source and said, "Hey, what is..." He tried dusted off the snow but once he got a better look, he noticed that it looked like a tomb. 'Whoa!' He soon saw the golden lever that looked like a snake and pushed it. This caused the tomb to open with a horrific smell to come out and since Lloyd was top of the tomb, he fell down the hole.

He hit the ground hard and slid on the ice. He stood up, looked around, and knew that he was in trouble the moment he heard a voice. "You are out of your mind to venture so far away from home, little one." A big green Serpentine came out with red swirly eyes and a white, green, and yellow belly. He was also holding a golden staff in the shape of a snake with a blue gem in it. Lloyd started to back away in fear as the Serpentine started to approach him. "Look into my eyes." The Serpentine's tail rattled as he tried to hypnotized Lloyd. Lloyd, on the other hand, was backing away from him and was trying to find a way to avoid getting hypnotized. "Give up your mind." Lloyd soon hit an ice beam as the Serpentine said, "I will control you."

Lloyd was nearly hypnotized but he ducked at the last minute causing the Serpentine's hypnosis to hit his reflection, hypnotizing himself. Once Lloyd realized this, he smiled evilly and said, "No, I will control you from now on."

"What shall you have us do, master?"

"Us?" Lloyd asked confused. Lloyd looked around and saw many more Serpentines come out who looked almost like the Serpentine in front of him except the one in front of him had a long tail. He smiled and said, "My own army of snakes." He laughed evilly at the thought of using them for evil.

Outside the monastery, the ninja had just finished their discussion of who is the Green Ninja. "The prophecy states that one of us will become the Green Ninja, and the issue will not rest until it is decided," Jay told them.

"May I suggest a tournament? Last ninja standing is the best," Zane suggested.

"And will be declared the Green Ninja. I love it," Kai finished.

They opened the door and saw Nya training. She was going through all the training equipment until she was hit with one of the axes. Jay walked over to her and asked nervously, "Hey, Nya, closer to beating your brother's speed record?"

Jay helped her up as she said, "Ah. I'm getting there. Heard what happened in town. Just a false alarm?"

"Yeah. Uh, but we're gonna need the space. Sorry, sis."

Cole grabbed armor from the training closet and threw a helmet at Jay's head. "Two matches, then the winners of each face off for the title. Armor's for our own protection. It's time to see what these babies can do," Cole told him.

Kai, who already had his armor on, asked Nya, "Hey, Nya, wanna stay and watch me mop the floor with them?"

"No, thanks. I think I'll just visit Jamanakai Village. Knock yourselves out."

"All right, first up: Kai versus Jay." Kai and Jay bowed to each other and pulled out their golden weapons. "Ninja, go!"

The fight begins! The two started their fight causing Cole to spin around and land on the ground. Jay spun his nunchucks around his body and soon spun them in the air but this proved to be a mistake since they electrified them. Kai, who was waiting for Jay to attack, attacked him after the was shocked by his own weapon. The two fought and their weapons clashed each time. Kai even climbed up the pole and ran across the wall and he used his sword to attack Jay but he blocked every attack. Once again, Jay spun his nunchucks in the air, give Kai the opportunity to attack with a fireball from his sword.

Jay and Zane were now sitting on the sidelines since Zane had said earlier that he didn't want to fight for the title of Green Ninja. The others tried to encourage him but he said that he was happy with just being the White Ninja. (I know, Y'all probably wanted to see him fight, but this Zane is different. He's just happy being the White Ninja. He's not as confident as the show's version but he will show more signs of confidence soon. I promise.)

Now it was Cole versus Kai. "For the prize and the title of best ninja, blah, blah, ninja, go," Jay said not caring about the fight anymore.

The two fought as if it was life or death. Weapons clashing over and over, Cole nearly tripped but he jumped in the air, spun a few times then landed on the ground. He jumped into the air and slammed his Scythe into the ground causing a small earthquake that made Kai trip to the ground.

"Very impressive," Zane told him.

"Yes!" Cole said pleased with himself.

Kai got back and growled in anger. He waved his sword around and did spinjitzu but this proved to be fatal because the sword of fire started to live up to its name. "It's too hot!" Kai lost control of his sword as it lit itself on fire.

"It's burning," Zane said in amazement.

"Fire!" Jay shouted.

Kai did spinjitzu uncontrollably until he let go of his sword and it dropped to the ground which started a fire in the dojo. Jay and Zane joined to help stop the fire. Zane, though, was being a bit more careful since he didn't want to burn the fur off of his tail.

Cole was trying to stop the fire by banging his weapon against the fire which proved to be futile. Kai tried to get out of the ring of fire that he was trapped in but was unable to. The doors opened revealing Sensei Wu who saw the fire and immediately knew what to do. He walked forward, grabbed the Shurikens of Ice, and threw them into the air. He willed them to stop the fire by making it rain over and it worked. Jay was also soaked since his butt caught on fire.

The shurikens returned to Sensei Wu who asked, clearly unhappy with the ninja, "What were you thinking?!"

"Uh, we were trying to figure out who was the Green Ninja," Jay told him. Zane hit Jay in the back of his head with his tail and Jay corrected himself, "Ow! Uh, heh, did I say Green Ninja? No, sorry..." Jay cleared his throat and said, "what I said was lean."

Sensei Wu sighed. "You were not supposed to see this."

"But Sensei, we wanna know. Which one of us is the chosen one?" Kai asked.

"None of you, if you don't unlock your full potential." Sensei Wu started to walk away then Kai asked, "But my sword, it was so bright. Is this what you meant by unlocking our golden weapons?"

"You are only at the beginning, and the road is long and winding. But yes, this is what I meant. If this is what it must take for you to train, then so be it. But none of you are near the level of what it takes to be the Green Ninja."

Nya was in Jamanakai Village doing some shopping when she heard people screaming. "What now?" She followed the screaming and found Lloyd stealing candy.

"Take the candy. Take it all!" Lloyd laughed evilly and Nya was about to stop him when she saw the green Serpentine behind him. The bigger Serpentine who was seemed to be the leader, had the others gather the humans and other hybrids in a big group and hypnotized them. They all either walked or flew away to obey the Serpentine's orders.

Nya hid behind a fruit stand and listened to the conversation between the two Serpentine who seemed to be in charge. "This makes no sense, general. Raiding a town for sweets?" The Serpentine asked confused.

"You will do as I command because I hold the staff!" The General told him.

The Ninja were currently training with their golden weapons while Sensei Wu was meditating with his essence. He soon saw a vision of the Serpentine and Lloyd raiding the village for candy. He ran to the ninja and shouted, "The Serpentine are back! Everyone in Jamanakai Village is in danger!"

"Calm down, sensei. We were just there. It was some kid who says he's..."

"The spirit smoke does not lie. An ancient evil has been released," Sensei Wu said with urgency in his voice.

"Nya's there right now," Kai told them.

"Nya?" Jay said with worry in his voice.

The ninja returned to their dragons with a more successful attempt at getting on them. Zane wasn't nearly crushed by the first door. Cole got on Rocky without his weapon coming off. Jay landed on Wisp easily and Kai was able to grab the reigns easily to Flame.

They took off and Kai told them, "Stay close. Stay together."

"Would we do it any other way?" Cole answered.

In Jamanakai Village, people and hybrids were still running away. Many dragonfly hybrids were even helping some humans getaway by picking them up and flying away.

Lloyd was even sugar high from all the candy he ate. "I'm never coming down from this sugar high." Lloyd cheered loudly until the ninja came out in front of him.

"Sorry to bust your buzz, little Garmadon," Cole started.

"But it's already past your bedtime," Jay finished.

Lloyd turned around and shouted, "Get them!"

The ninja looked up and saw the General of the Serpentine and his second-in-command. The general's tail rattled and he shouted, "Seize them!"

"The Serpentine? They're real?" Kai said shocked.

Not only the Serpentine started to come after them but also the hypnotized villagers were coming after them.

"It's not just them we have to worry about," Cole said as he looked at the hypnotized humans and hybrids. "The whole village has been hypnotized."

Jay started to charge up his nunchucks but Zane stopped him. "No. Our weapons are too unstable. We could do more harm than good," Zane said with concern in his voice.

"I guess that leaves us with: run!" Jay shouted. Everyone jumped over the villagers and they all went in a different direction. Jay jumped on a fruit stand and over a roof. Zane and Cole run on the rooftops. Kai also jumped on the rooftops then he slid down from the roof. Eventually, they all met back up behind one of the buildings. They soon jumped over and wheel barrel and hid behind that. Zane even had to keep his tail still by holding onto it since it had the tendency to move often.

Nya soon came out of hiding surprising all of them. "Nya?" Kai said shocked and relieved.

"You're okay," Jay relieved.

"Barely. They've hypnotized everyone in town, Both humans and hybrids," Nya told them.

"Mind control. How is this possible?" Jay asked.

"When you hear them rattle their tails, don't look them in the eyes. That's how they get you."

"Well, what are we supposed to do? We can't use our weapons and now we gotta fight with our eyes closed. I know Zane could possibly do it with his enhanced senses but the rest of us. Ha! Perfect."

"The snakes with the staff is the general. He's the one in charge. If we can get the staff from him, it holds the antivenom. If we get that, we can save everyone," Nya told them.

"Look, guys. Forget about the whole Green Ninja thing. Let's make Sensei proud. The four of us, we're a team," Kai told them.

"Now you're talking," Cole said in agreement.

"Oh, and Nya, you can be our honorary member," Jay told her trying to be nice.

This gesture didn't really work as she crossed her arms in annoyance then said, "Gee, thanks."

Now everyone was on the rooftops to stop Lloyd and the Serpentine and save the villagers.

Kai jumped off the rooftop in front of two Serpentine who were about to gang up on him but Kai turned around and said, "You wanna play? How about a little Spinjitzu? Ninja, go!" Kai did Spinjitzu on the Serpentine around him but he spun out and hit the wall.

"Okay, we're really out of shape," Jay said after face-palming himself. In the background, Zane was seen jumping off the rooftop and onto another one.

Kai got up quickly though and punched the two Serpentine who tried to attack him. Lloyd, though, was running away with his candy. "Ha! Consider this a warning, ninja." Lloyd laughed evilly but before he got away, Zane threw his shurikens just in front of Lloyd. This caused him to lose all of his candy.

Zane landed on the ground and did his spinjitzu. "Ninja, go!"

"My candy!" Lloyd shouted in dispair.

Zane got in front of Lloyd and said, "Sensei was right. Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today. We should've dealt with you the first time around."

Lloyd, now scared, he shouted, "Aah! Retreat!"

"Retreat!" The general shouted. The other Serpentine started to run away.

The general was about to flee too but Cole came out of hiding, kicked the general, causing him to release his staff. The staff landed on the ground and Cole said, "Go ahead, give me a reason."

The general fled in fear then Cole proceeded to pick up the staff. After getting a good look at it, he looked up but to be hypnotized by the general's second-in-command. His tail rattled and look his eyes. "Look into my eyes. I control you."

Cole's eyes turned red. "You control..."

"Cole!" Nya shouted taking Cole out of his trance. Nya came from behind him and kicked him hard. Cole started to walk away and Nya shouted, "You have the antivenom"

Cole shook his head. "By golly, you're right!"

"Quick, the fountain!" Nya said as she pointed at the fountain.

"Good idea!" Cole ran to the fountain and stuck the staff on the top row of it. The caused smoke to emit and spread all over the village curing everyone of their hypnosis. The villagers even helped still hypnotized villagers by helping them breathing it in. The dragonfly hybrids even used their wings to spread it around.

Sensei Wu arrived soon after and Kai, who had retrieved the staff, walked over him and said, "We're sorry, Sensei. If we had dealt with Lloyd before he became a problem, none of this would have been necessary."

"Even lessons learned the hard way are lessons learned. Hm. A great evil has been released. I fear troubling times will come. This is only the beginning."

Zane walked over to the two and said, "Then we will train and be ready for the Serpentine."

"It may not be Lord Garmadon, but that doesn't mean we won't bring our A game," Cole told him.

"Help us train, help us realize our potential," Kai pleaded.

"Yeah, teach us the secrets behind the weapons of Spinjitzu."

"Hm. There is much to teach. We must return to the monastery."

They started to go home then Nya sighed sadly. "When am I gonna get my own dragon?"

"Patience, Nya. Your time will come."

In the Serpentine's home, Lloyd was complaining about his want for candy. "Ugh, candy. I need candy."

"The boy set us free," The general said.

"He is a child! He is not one of us! Not even snake hybrids are one of us!"

"I may not have the staff, but I am still your general. Stand down!"

The snake walked away obviously annoyed with the general when another snake come up to him and said, "You coward. We all know he is under Lloyd's spell. You are second in command, and still you do nothing?"

The snake smiled evilly and said, "Now was not the time. I still hold the key to destroy the ninja, and when I do that everyone will see it is I who should be in control." In his line of vision, he could see the inside of the monastery from Cole's point of view. He saw Nya standing next to him and he turned as Kai was walking closer to Jay, Zane, and Sensei Wu. Zane's tail was waving over his eyesight as he watched him. He laughed evilly at the thought of his plan working.

Okay, so I was going into high school when this show came out and now I'm a junior in college. I feel so old. Anyway, I've got college finals coming up, yay me. Then I got summer classes.
