It was the first morning in their new ninja headquarters. Everything was peaceful... until Sensei Wu got his gong and started to bang it throughout the ship and even in the ninja's room. "Evil doesn't sleep and neither should you." They all groaned loudly. Kai covered his face with a pillow. Zane covered himself back up with a blanket and covered his ears. Jay turned to his side with his back facing Sensei Wu. "In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity." Cole just covered his ears. Sensei Wu eventually stopped banging his gong once he knew they were awake.
"Okay, okay, we're up," Kai told him as he jumped off his top bunk. Zane was getting out of his bed as Kai told him, "But if you want us to reach our full potential, shouldn't we at least get a full night of rest?" Kai yawned then tried to open the blinds but they fell off the window seal.
"Ugh, you call that rest? I think my back has more lumps than the mattress," Cole said as he stretched out his back.
Jay walked over to the sink and got ready to brush his teeth. "We were up so late talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters I guess we lost track of time." Jay turned on the sink, not knowing that dirt went on his toothbrush instead of water. "Since the Serpentine burned down the monastery, I'm just glad we have a roof over our heads..." Jay began to brush his 2 but he instantly spits out the toothpaste since it was covered in dirt.
Zane, who was stretch his arms, legs, and tail, asked, "What are we doing today, Sensei? Mastering the strike of the scorpion?" He got into a pose that he had seen various scorpions and scorpions hybrids do. "Or perhaps the grace of a..." Zane was unable to finish his sentence since after doing a small jump, he crashed through the wooden floor. He was not stuck from his hips to his legs and dust spread all around. He coughed some since dust got into his throat.
The others came over to Zane and Sensei Wu told them, "I think today's lesson will be chores."
"Chores?!" All of them say shocked.
"Ninja fight, Sensei. They do not clean," Cole told him.
"In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from. And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters." The others looked at each other as Sensei Wu was talking to them. He began to walk out of their room as he said, "I expect things to be spotless when I return. And put your backs into it." Sensei Wu banged the gong once more than left them.
Cole helped Zane out of the hole and Zane used his tail to clean the dust of his legs. "Ah, this place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up," Kai complained.
Jay then had an idea. "Unless we put more than our backs into it, huh?" He winked at Kai who had a feeling he knew what Jay was talking about.
After getting their ninja suits on, Cole went to a room that was full of junk, dirt, and cobwebs. "Ninja go!" Cole used his spinjitzu to clean up all the junk and brought it outside and put a garage sale sign up.
Kai and Zane entered the room with their Golden Weapons. Zane threw the Shurikens of Ice to the ground which covered the entire room with ice. Kai used the Sword of Fire to melt part of the ice. "Ninja, go!" Kai and Zane shouted then they did their spinjitzu. Together, they cleaned up the rest of the room of dirt and cobwebs.
A little later, Kai and Cole were fixing up some electronics and Jay noticed something covered with a big white sheet. He removed it to reveal a big computer system. He used his Nunchucks of Lightning to bring it back to life and now the whole ship had power.
On deck, Kai, Cole, and Zane, who was off the ground, were pulled a rope to opened the sails of the ship, which released a bunch of dust. "Ninja, go!" Jay used his spinjitzu to remove all the dust off of the ship.
The ninja used their spinjitzu to clean the entire spin top to bottom and were finish just over an hour before Sensei Wu and Nya came back. They opted to play video games until they came home.
Nya and Sensei Wu arrived to find the ship cleaned and the ninja playing video games, Kai, Cole, and Jay were sitting on pillows while Zane was standing up. "What took you so long?" Kai asked turning around to them for a brief moment.
"Wow! This place looks amazing. You guys did all this?" Nya asked.
"Ninja don't just fight, Nya. We clean," Cole said, turning to her.
"Oh. You have exceeded my expectations, but can you keep it up?" Sensei Wu asked them, very impressed and hopeful for them.
A car honk took Nya out of her thoughts. She walked over to the window and saw a car approaching them, as the car honk again. "It looks like we're about to have some visitors. And loud ones at that," She told them.
Zane felt his heart drop. Sure, he was used to his human friends, but if more humans came and they didn't like hybrids then what? He felt relieved when Jay told her, "Oh, it's my parents. Please, if they start yapping, just don't get them going, okay? They don't know when to quit and if you start talking then they'll start talking, and suddenly, half the day is gone before you know it ends..."
"We get it. They talk a lot," Kai said, cutting in Jay's sentence. "The cherry doesn't fall far from its blossom."
'Good. It's just Jay's parents. Jay said that his parents like hybrids and respected them so I shouldn't worry. Well... if they talk as much as he does, then I may need earplugs.'
Jay's parents stopped in front of the Ninja's garage sale. "Oh, take a note, Edna. Either better brakes or a better bumper." Jay's father then noticed the garage sale once he removed his hat and goggles. "Oh, well you look at all this great stuff. They can't just get rid of it. We should have brought the trailer, Edna."
Edna removed her hat and goggles and told him, "This ain't a flea market, Ed. We're here for Jay."
Ed put his hand to his ear and asked, "How's that? Did you take the note?"
"I'm writing it down, Ed," She told him as she wrote it down on a notepad.
Jay, acting happy that his parents were visiting, said, "Mom, Dad, what are you doing here?" He walked towards them with his arms up towards the sky.
Edna, oblivious to her son's actions, said happily standing up, "Oh, look, it's my baby boy! It's been so long since we've heard from you."
"Ma, I called you two days ago," He told her as the others joined him.
Ed laughed a bit. "Well, it's not soon enough, son. When are you coming out to the junkyard? You say you're coming, and then you don't."
Jay winced then said, "Dad, do we have to talk about the junkyard in front of my friends?"
"He hates it when we tell people he was born in a junkyard," Edna told them. She looked at Nya and smiled happily. "Ooh. And who are you? You are so cute. You're just my son's type."
Jay blushed embarrassed. "MOM!"
"It's a pleasure meeting you. I'm sure if you want, Jay can give you a tour. He worked very hard on it" Nya said feeling a bit awkward but she didn't show it.
"We'd love a tour," They both said excitedly as much to Jay's dismay. He sighed as he shook his head. 'This is gonna be so embarrassing.'
Jay proceeded to show his parents around the bounty. He showed them the kitchen, their room, Sensei's room, the deck, the training room, heck, they even wanted to see the bathroom. Jay was worried that his parents would ask Zane questions about him being a hybrid but he was relieved that they didn't.
Jay finished up the tour with the bridge. "And this is the bridge." He gestured to the periscope. "This extends into a periscope." He jumped to it and looked through it. "This tells us what's going on in Ninjago." He spun the periscope then walked over to a machine he made. "And this... If a Serpentine's not giving us the answers we want, and we're up late at night..."
Jay's parents interrupted him with their guesses. "A neuro apparatus to read their minds?" Edna asked.
"An audio appliance to make talk?" Ed asked as Nya, Sensei Wu, and the others entered the bridge.
"No, a cappuccino machine." He filled a cup with coffee and he smiled.
"Ha-ha. Amazing, son. We're so proud of you," Ed told him.
"Why don't you tell them about the button?" Cole asked as he walked over to a red button in front of a radar.
Jay walked over to him and said a bit annoyed, "Ha-ha. It's not ready yet."
"Oh, what's the button?" Edna asked excitedly.
"He's working on a special defense system," Zane told them.
"Something every ninja headquarters needs," Kai told them.
"Oh really?" Ed said impressed. "What does it do? Can I help?"
Ed bent down to the buttons compartment but Jay told him as he held him back, "No, it's okay. I don't need your help, Dad. Let's just leave it alone." Jay faked looked at a watch and said, "Hey, look at the time." Jay started to help his parents leave the ship. "Don't you need to get back before it gets dark? I told you, there's dangerous Serpentine out there."
Ed sighed. "Uh, I suppose we could get back."
Cole walked up to Jay and said, "Edna, it was a pleasure hearing about Jay's first potty time." As he was saying this, he patted Jay on the back.
"Oh, if you thought that was good, wait until you hear the story about the time I caught him kissing his pillow," Edna said happily, not knowing she was embarrassing Jay, as she pinched his cheeks.
"Ugh. Snakes, Ma, snakes," Jay told her as he removed her hands from his face and ready for them to go home and stop embarrassing him in front of the others.
"Okay. We're going, we're going." Edna and Ed walked outside with the others following them as well. Ed and Edna entered their car and Edna asked, "So you promise to come to the junkyard and visit your mother and father?"
"Yes. I promise. But only if you leave," Jay told them a bit annoyed. "I don't want you to get hurt. It's getting dark." Then he remembered something important. "Uh, your headlights are working, right?"
Edu turned on the lights nearly blinding everyone. Zane probably had it worse with his enhanced sight. "Heh. Like 'em? I used a little extra juice." Ed turned off the lights. "Yep. Bye, son. I couldn't be more proud."
Ed and Edna started to leave. As they were, Edna shouted, "And bring Nya with you, will you? I can see why you like her."
"Mom!" Jay shouted with his teeth clenched. 'Things can not get any more embarrassing.'
"Now that they have left, perhaps Jay can teach us the art of... kissing pillows," Sensei Wu snickered.
Jay groaned in frustration as he walked back onto the ship with the others laughing at him.
The sun was setting as Ed and Edna were driving back home. Ed tells his wife, "I don't think he's coming, dear." For Ed, Jay always said that he would visit them but he never did. Sure, Jay called and sent them letters but nothing more than that. In fact, they knew that one of his friends was a hybrid but they had no idea that he was a snow leopard hybrid.
Edna wanted to keep her hopes high and told Ed, "Stop it, Ed. He's coming."
Ed wasn't so sure. Jay was an adult now so he was able to make his own decisions. "No, he doesn't need us anymore. I just have to remember that. " He tried not to be so upset at the sound of that. "Uh, write it down for me, would you?"
"Oh, dear." Edna wrote down what Ed said then she told him, "Lights, dear, it's getting dark."
Ed turned on the car's headlights. "Right, heh. Thanks, sugarplum."
It was night time. The sun was had just set since the moon had barely hit its peak. Lloyd was reading the map that he stole from the Serpentine that betrayed him. He was trying to find another tribe. He found an abandoned cemetery deep in a dark forest. Even though he was scared, he kept telling himself that it wasn't. "It's not scary. Um, maybe just a little, but I like scary. Yeah, that's it. I'm the son of the Dark Lord, I love the dark." Lloyd kept looking around and even though he was trying to make himself feel brave, he wasn't. "I eat this stuff for breakfast."
Lloyd turned around and screamed in fear at the dead tree. It looked like a two-headed snake that didn't help quench his fear. He calmed down about a minute later when he remembered his mission. "I'm gonna make those Hypnobrai pay for betraying me. I have to find the Fangpyres. If there's anything a snake doesn't like, it's another snake." Lloyd walked closer to the tree until he found what he was looking for. "Here. By the mutated tree, I found it." Lloyd removed the dust over the tomb of the Fangpyres as he said, "Soon, the Serpentine will know who their master is, and it will be I, Lloyd Garmadon!" Lightning cracked which startled Lloyd. Once things had calmed down, Lloyd pressed the button on the tomb.
Just seconds after opening up the tomb, many red snakes came out. This action also started Lloyd since they all hissed like they were vampires or something. A two-headed snake came out "And who..." A deep voice said first.
"...may I say released us..." A high pitched one said.
"...from our captivity?" The deep voice finished. (Fun fact, in case you didn't know, the Fangpyre general's name is Fangtom and his brother, who is his second-in-command, is named, Fangdam. I didn't know this at all. The right head is the high pitched voice and the left head has a deep voice.)
Lloyd, who was understandably nervous, said, "Uh, Lloyd. I released you to make the Hypnobrai pay for betraying me."
"The Hypnobrai?" Fangtom's right head said.
"Those hypnotizing deceivers." Fangtom's left head said angrily.
Fangtom looked at Lloyd and the right head told him, "It'll be..."
"...our pleasure," The left head finished.
"Oh, good. I'll lead the way. Then after that, there's some ninja I want dealt with," Lloyd told him.
Fangtom was impressed with Lloyd. "Sounds like..." Fangtom's left head started.
"...you know..." The right head continued.
"...what you want."
"But the Hypnobrai are strong," Fangtom's right head told him.
"And we are few in numbers."
"We need..."
"...reinforcements," Fangtom's left head told him.
"What did you have in mind?" Lloyd asked a bit confused about how they were going to succeed in their endeavors. Fangtom just hissed at him with no answer.
Ed and Edna arrived back to their junkyard. The sign said Ed & Edna's scrap n junk in different colors and the s flickered every so often. The junkyard was full of tires and metal scraps. Ed parked the car then he and Edna removed their hats and goggles. "Home, sweet home." Ed got out of the car and picked up his toolbox. He walked over to a giant machine that he was working on. "And back to the grind."
Edna walked to their small home and said, "Oh, sweetie, you've been working on that thing day and night."
"Well, you never know when Jay may show up," He told her. Even though Jay was an adult now, he still had hopes that Jay would visit them.
"Oh, you're right. You never know." Edna walked in the house, closed the door, and turned on the light. Ed got to work on the large robot that he was building for Jay. He took out a mask and a burner and started to work.
All of a sudden, he heard a sound behind him. He removed the mask and asked Edna, "Uh, Edna? Was that you?"
Edna opened the front door and asked, "What, Ed? Are you hearing things again?"
He asked her a bit nervously, "Uh, you uh, you turned on the security alarm before you left, didn't ya, hun?"
Edna got out to check the alarm, but nothing happened. "Uh, must be broken."
Suddenly the power went out. "Whoever's there, my son knows Spinjitzu!" Ed just hoped it was a hybrid or a family of hybrids needing food or a place to stay for a while since it was something that had often occurred in the junkyard.
He saw something that did not look like any hybrid that he had ever seen before. He saw a saw of something with two heads and heard a snake hissing. "What is it, Ed? Oh, why are the lights out?"
Ed ran over to his wife worried and told her, "Call Jay, hun. Someone's broken in!"
"How about we wait until he calls you?" They turned around saw Lloyd standing next to Fangtom and Lloyd was holding the phone with a broken cord. Lloyd laughed evilly
"Ed..." Edna said scared.
"Be strong, Edna. I won't let them hurt you." Ed held his wife closer to her.
"If we plan..." Fangtom's left head started.
"...to attack..."
"...the Hypnobrai..."
"...we'll need to grow..."
"...our army," The left head finished.
"And uh, how do we do that?" Lloyd asked him.
"Let's just say..." Fangtom's right head started.
"...we Fangpyre bite off more..."
"... than we can chew."
"Have at it, boys!" Fangtom's left head shouted. Many Fangpyres came out and they started to bite various items from motorcycles, helicopters, and even cars. They all turned into snake-like creatures.
Ed was mortified at the sight. "My creations! They are turning them into..."
"An army?" Fangtom left head told him startling him.
"You are correct."
"But we can also..."
"...turn people too." Ed and Edna hugged each other in fear as the Fangpyres started to surround them.
The next day on the ship. The other ninja had a plan to convince Jay to visit his parents at the junkyard. As Jay was working on the special defense system, Kai and Zane walked by Jay while holding some trash and Kai said out loud, "Sure got a lot of junk piling up. If only there was a place we could get rid of it."
"If you don't mind, I'm trying to focus," Jay told them then he returned to working on his special defense system.
"Hi, Mom and Dad, of course, I'd love to visit What kind of son would I be I didn't want to?" Cole said fake calling his parents in front of Jay.
Jay laughed sarcastically. "I know what you're trying to do." Jay stood up and looked at his friends. "Okay, look. I might have promised to visit my parents. But there's a lot of stuff on my plate." Nya entered the bridge and Jay quickly wiped the oil stain off his face. "Heh-heh. Hi, Nya."
"You gonna visit your parents today?" Nya asked him.
Wanting to impress Nya, Jay said, "Uh, sure am. Just about to leave."
"Tell 'em I say hi," Nya said then she left the bridge.
Cole, Kai, and Zane looked at Jay annoyed. "What? So my plate's not that full."
They went outside and Jay was pulling at Wisp's reins but he wasn't moving at all. "Come on, It'll be a quick visit. Just in and out. Nothing more."
Sensei Wu walked up to Jay with a large thermometer in his hands. "Hm, it is as I suspected. The dragons are molting. They're shedding their scales."
"What does that mean?" Jay asked him, releasing Wisp's rein.
"Every adolescent Dragon goes through a transformation before it becomes an adult. We must allow them to migrate east to the Spirit Coves for their transformation."
"Will we see them again?"
"It is hard to say. But we need to allow them to follow their path."
Cole, along with Kai, Zane, and Nya, were passing by and Cole asked, "Rocky's going east?" He ran over to his dragon and hugged him. "Say it isn't so, Rocky?"
Zane and Kai did the same with their dragons. They were sad to see them leave.
Jay walked over to Kai and Nya, who were petting Flame. "Well, I guess I gotta go on this long walk all by myself. Sure be nice to have company."
Nya began to nod. "Of course we'll go, buddy," Kai said not getting that Jay wanted alone time with Nya.
"I could use a break," Cole told him as he walked over to the group.
"All you had to do was ask," Zane added as well.
Jay sighed in annoyance. 'This is going to be a long day.'
Before leaving on their long walk, Zane had to grab a hat and fan. Even though he could tolerate warm weather, he did not like it when it was hot outside. Since Sensei Wu was also accompanying them, he brought his flute to play so Zane brought a pair of earplugs to dim the noise of the flute but not enough to where he couldn't hear his friends talking.
As they were walking through the desert, Cole watched as the dragons flew away. Jay sighed. "Of all the days to lose our ride."
Zane walked closer to Sensei Wu and said, "That flute, you've never told us why it's so special."
"Long ago there were many flutes, created to combat the powers of the Serpentine and drive them underground."
"But why does it hurt Zane? If those flutes were made to combat the Serpentine, then wouldn't they be made to not hurt hybrids?" Kai asked him still concerned for their hybrid friend and all other hybrids.
Sensei Wu sighed. "No matter how hard the ancestors tried, they were unable to create a flute to combat the Serpentine and not harm hybrids since as I mentioned before the Serpentine are reptilian humanoids and hybrids are humans with animal parts. The two are similar in some ways but they are also differentSadly, over time, Ninjago's forgotten its ancestors' wisdom, and now this is the only one."
Sensei Wu played the flute directly in Jay's face and Jay got the message. "I get the lesson. Respect your elders or else suffer the consequences. Boy, you guys are laying it on thick." Jay walked ahead of the group since they were close to the junkyard.
Sensei Wu chuckled. "Perhaps you are only hearing what you need to hear."
Jay stopped in front of the junkyard. "Zane, can you hear anything inside the junkyard?" Zane removed his earplugs and shook his head.
Nya walked closer to Jay, who looked very worried. "What is it?"
"It's quiet. Zane can't hear anything inside. My family is never quiet." Jay and the other ninja put on their hoods and ran into the junkyard to search for Jay's parents. When they got closer, everyone could hear two muffled screams and sounds of a struggle. Jay ran to a beat-up green fridge. He opened it to reveal his parents tied and gagged with duck tape. "What happened? Who did this?"
Jay removed the tape on Edna to reveal that she now had snake fangs. "Sweetheart, you came."
Jay removed the tape on Ed to reveal that he also had snake fangs. "You gotta get out of here. You shouldn't have come. It's the ssssnakes!" Jay freed his parents once he ungagged them.
Sensei Wu immediately knew which Serpentine tribe they were dealing with. "The bite of the Fangpyre. Once they sink their teeth, their venom can turn anything into a serpent. It's only a matter of time the full transformation is complete." Ed turned and to his and Edna's horror, he was starting to grow a tail.
Zane sniffed the air and his ear flickered. "My friends, I don't think we're alone."
Just as he said that the Fangpyre appeared from behind a mountain of tires with a wreaking ball machine that looked like a serpent.
The Ninja got into a fighting position and prepared their golden weapons. "Uh, is that wreaking ball staring at me?" Cole asked.
The Fangpyre swung the wrecking ball and everyone quickly moved out of the way. "DUCK!" Jay pushed his parents out of the way so they would get hurt.
"Thankssss, sssson," Ed told Jay.
"Lloyd!" Sensei Wu said noticing Lloyd with Fangtom.
"Hello, uncle. Looks like we're not the only family reunion. I'm glad you brought the Ninja. I could use some help taking out the trash." Lloyd laughed evilly.
"If we want to turn your parents back, we need the antivenom in the staff," Nya told Jay.
The wrecking ball swung and was about to hit them but Cole pointed it and shouted, "Second dose, hit the dirt!" Everyone dodged that attack and no one was hurt. Dust was everywhere and once it was cleared, more Fangpyre appeared ready to attack.
Kai took out his sword and told Nya, "Easier said than done, sis. We're a bit outnumbered."
"Nobody messes with my family," Jay said determined with his nunchucks over his head. Jay ran forward, he jumped in the air and attacked the group of Fangpyre. "Ninja, go!" Jay did his spinjitzu and as the wrecking ball was coming at him, he dodged it by sliding under it. The wrecking ball got stuck behind some metal bar stuck inside the tire.
"Ninja, go!" As the others were running to help Jay, they did their spinjitzu at the oncoming Fangpyre.
A group of Fangpyre started to surround Sensei Wu but knowing that Zane was out of range for his flute, he started to play it. It caused the Serpentine pain in their ears. This gave Nya the opportunity to attack two of the Serpentine. She ran over to him and told him, "I don't know, Sensei. I think we make a pretty good duet."
Lloyd started playing loud rock music from a serpent-like boombox. "Young nephew, must I teach you whose side you should be on?"
Lloyd just increased the volume on the boombox. "Sorry uncle, can't hear you!" He shouted.
A serpent was about to bite Sensei Wu but Edna hit the Fangpyre with her frying pan. "Yeah, way to go, Edna."
"Ninja, go!" The ninja used their spinjitzu to chase after the fleeing Fangpyre. Those Fangpyre, however, ran to the large robot that Ed was building for Jay and bit it, turning it into a weapon for them.
The ninja stopped their spinjitzu when they felt the ground move. They watched as the pebbles on the ground were moving. A green foot came from behind the mountain of tires. They looked up and saw a large green robot that was holding a pair of nunchucks and it sort of resembled Jay, except this one was green and had red snake eyes. They were confused and a bit mortified. "Ah! What is that thing?" Jay said freaked out.
"It was supposed to be in your honor, son, but do you like it?" Ed asked him.
"Thanks, but no thanks." The robot was about to swing his nunchuck at the Ninja and they all ran away as fast as they could.
Cole noticed that they were heading towards the wrecking ball. He groaned then looked ar Jay as they were running. "Why'd you have to be born in a junkyard?"
"I know. Tell me about it."
The wrecking ball came towards them and they all dodged it before it hit them. Kai, Zane, and Cole landed on the ground and Kai noticed that Jay was missing. "Uh, wasn't there four of us?"
Jay was on the wrecking ball and just as the wreaking ball went over the wreaking ball car, Jay jumped off and landed on top of the car. He kicked the Fangpyre driving out and started to drive the wrecking ball car himself. The car hissed at him and Jay scratched his head in confusion. "Let's see if I can work this." Jay just pushed a lever just to see what it would do.
The robot ninja swung his nunchuck at Cole but he was able to use his scythe to catch it. "Don't worry. I've got it." Cole was starting to struggle with holding up the nunchuck. By this time, Jay had figured out how the wrecking ball car worked. He swung it at the robot ninja and it flew into a mountain of tires. Jay joined the others and Cole told him, "I told you, I had it."
Lloyd looked at the downed robot ninja then at the ninja who had their weapons at the ready. "Retreat!" A snake helicopter came from behind him and Fangtom. The two got onto a small platform that came from the helicopter. The rest of the Fangpyres fled as well along with everything they turned into a serpent.
"He's getting away with the staff!" Nya shouted in fear.
Jay sighed. "Right now would be a good time to have those dragons."
Ed and Edna was were now looking more serpent-like with their clothes turning green, and they were developing scales. "It'ssss okay, sssson."
"There is still a way," Sensei Wu told him.
"How?" Jay asked him.
"Part of reaching your own full potential is understanding your weapon's full potential. Once it is in tune with a focused heart, its secrets and powers can be unlocked."
"Oh, this is not the time to be cryptic," Jay told him frustrated.
"He's saying our weapons are vehicles themselves," Zane told him.
"Don't tell me I have to ride this like a broomstick?" Kai asked while looking at his sword. 'It would hurt to ride this like a broomstick.'
Sensei Wu ignored Kai's comment and said, "Jay, concentrate on unlocking your Golden Weapon. Let your heart guide you. Imagine you're taking flight."
Jay took a deep breath. The others backed away from him as Jay concentrated on taking flight. Lightning started to flash around him and using his nunchucks, he spun in a blue ball of light. A flash of light happened and Jay was in a blue vehicle that could fly. He opened the hood and said shocked, "Whoa! Ha-ha! Did I just do that?"
Kai looked at his sword and did the same. He imagined his sword taking flight. He waved his sword around then waved his hand over his sword and flames appeared around it. He threw his sword up in the air then a mound of dirt appeared under him. Once his sword returned to his hand, a flash of light appeared and a red motorcycle with two golden swords in front of it appeared. 'Awesome!'
Zane made ice crystals around himself then formed more until they made a shape. Once they broke apart, it formed a white motorcycle with ice in the front and back. There was even a bit of room for his tail to lay comfortably which wasn't something he expected. 'This is nice.'
Cole spun his scythe in his hands then threw it into the air. Rocks started to surround it, and a mountain of dirt came up. Cole hit it with his scythe and a golden car appeared. "Ha! I hate to hurt Rocky's feelings, but I think he's been replaced."
Jay powered up the Storm Fighter and took flight. He cheered loudly as he flew through the sky. The other Ninja followed him in pursuit on their vehicles.
Nya walked to Sensei Wu and asked, "Does your flute turn into anything?"
He looked at his flute then back to her. "I wish."
Jay flew past Lloyd and Fangtom faster then they could see. "Whoa! What the heck was that?!"
"Oops. Ha-ha. Overshot that a little." Jay turned around the Storm Fighter. He set up the targeting system on Lloyd and the Fangtom. "Let's see what this baby can do." Jay pushed a button but the jet started to malfunction.
"Duck!" Fangtom's right head shouted. Lloyd and Fangtom ducked as Jay flew past them. When Fangtom opened his eyes, he noticed that the staff was gone. "The staff!"
Jay noticed that the staff was in his hands and he was thrilled. "I got it? I got it!" He laughed in victory but this proved to be a mistake since the Storm Fighter disappeared. "Uh-oh." Jay started to fall from the sky.
"Jay, you have to concentrate!" Kai shouted at him.
"I can't!"
"I think we're gonna have to catch him."
"I got him," Kai told them.
"No, I got him!" Cole
"He's mine!" Because Kai, Cole, Zane were so focused on trying to save Jay, once they crashed into each other, their vehicles disappear and turn back into the Golden Weapons.
Jay continued to scream as he fell from the sky. 'Oh, great. This is how I die!' Jay closed his eyes then he opened them once he landed on something soft. It was his parents' car. "Heh, nice." Nya was driving it as fast as she could.
"Aw, I knew I liked thissss girl," Edna said. Ed and Edna looked more like Serpertine with scales covering their whole bodies, long snake tails, and their whole body was green.
The Fangpyres, along with their serpent vehicles were now gathered together. "Everyone!" Fangtom's right head shouted.
"Attack!" Fangtom's left head shouted. The Fangpyre started to come after the Ninja with one goal in mind, retrieve the staff.
Kai shook his sword and asked Sensei Wu, who was parked next to the other Ninja, "Huh? Why isn't this thing working?"
"Your weapon is merely an extension of your mind. If your mind is immobile, so is your weapon," Sensei Wu told him.
"Oh, boy. Oh, gosh. Oh, golly, oh, duh. Get in, boys!" Ed told Kai, Zane, and Cole. They jumped in the very back as fast as they could.
"We have to get back to headquarters!" Jay shouted. Nya drove as fast as she could.
"Go! They're getting away!" Lloyd shouted. The helicopter started to fly much faster in order to catch up to the Ninja.
Luckily The Ninja got back to the ship before the Fangpyre. On deck, Nya told Ed and Edna, "Come with me. Once we reverse the venom, we can fix you." They nodded as Nya lead them downstairs to make the antivenom.
The Ninja and Sensei Wu rushed into the bridge. Jay told them, "Man the stations, everyone!" Jay ran over to his button and waited for the right moment.
Kai looked out the window and noticed that the Fangpyre were getting closer. "Jay, we better hurry."
"I've been waiting for this moment." Jay pushed the button but nothing happened. Cole, Zane and Sensei Wu looked around expecting something to happen. 'What?! I've been working on this for hours! How is it not working?!
"They're gaining on us!" Kai shouted.
Nya handed Ed and Edna the antivenom. "Bottoms, up!" They drank the antivenom and they laughed and shook as they turned back into humans. "Oh, that's good," Ed said once he and Edna were human once more.
Jay banged his fist on the button. "Ugh, I don't get what's wrong. I spent forever on this. It's supposed to work!"
"Uh, son? Maybe I can help?" Ed asked him.
Jay gasped and smiled under his mask. "Dad! You're okay!"
"You're darn tooting. Oh, let's have a look." Ed fixed the wiring in just a few seconds. "Oh, yeah. Uh-huh. Oh, that should do it. Now try it."
Jay pushed the button. This caused the ship to open its wings and rocket boosters and allowed it to fly away.
"No, no, no, no!" Lloyd coughed as some dust started to get into his lungs.
The ship was about to fly away and it tilted on its side just slightly. This caused Nya to lose her balance and drop the staff. It hit the head of one of the Fangpyre and Fangtom picked it up.
"These Ninja..." Fangtom's right head said.
"...they must be stopped." Fangtom's left head finished.
Lloyd groaned as if he was about to throw up. "Oh, tell me about it."
'I'm going to defeat those Ninja if it's the last thing I do,' Lloyd thought to himself.
Back on the ship, Jay told his parents, "We'll get you back to the Junkyard just as soon as we see the coast is clear. But stay as long as you'd like. It's nice having you here."
"Oh, take a note Edna: of all our inventions, this one is our greatest!"
"I already know, dear." Edna threw notepad away. The trio embraced each other as Wu watched them.
I wanted to get this one out a bit faster since I wanted to let Y'all know that certain episodes might take me longer since the Falcon is not in this AU, I have to make some major adjustments to certain episodes, this includes season three but I'll worry about it when I get there. Especially the next one, I have an idea of how I want it to go, I just need to work out the details.
Anyway, please stay safe, wash your hands, and wear your mask. Don't forget to fav, follow, and review, please. Bye! :)
