I have started school which means, sadly, slower updates. Yeah, I'll be in my dorm most of the time since most of my classes are online but I still need to focus on school. Sorry. Anyway, Enjoy the new chapter. :)

Deep in the desert, Skales and Pythor are digging for something. Annoyed, Skales told Pythor, "We're wasting our time, Pythor. There's nothing here but sand and dust."

"Keep digging. The Lost City of Ouroboros is under us. I know it." Pythor was not going to let one setback from the Ninja stop him for uniting the Serpentine and unleashing the Great Devourer.

"Oh, face it, your first attempt to unite the tribes failed, and now that you have lost your flock, you've become desperate." Skales has noticed this over the course of time he has known Pythor. With the Anacondrai gone, Pythor was desperate for anything.

"I am desperate, my disloyal number two, but only to bring our kind together so that we can unleash the Great Devourer."

"You put too much faith in legends. Besides, all the Serpentine know is to be at war with one another."

Pythor ignored Skales and kept digging until he heard a metal clang. He moved the sand around and he found a dial. He laughed evilly at the sight of it. "Skales, I believe we've found it." Pythor turned the dial and slowly, but surely, the Lost City of Ouroboros had risen once more. "I present to you the city formerly known as the Lost City of Ouroboros."

Up in the sky, the Bounty was flying over Ninjago making sure that there were no Serpentine were around causing havoc. The mailman was trying to catch up to them with a package. "Wait! Slow down! I have a package for Sensei Wu!"

In the dining room, the Ninja, along with Nya and Lloyd were drinking tea. "First, I'll stomp on his tail. Then when he turns, a thunderclap to his ears. Then when he's stunned, I'll disarm him." As Lloyd was talking about how he would beat a Serpentine, Sensei Wu entered with a package in his hands.

Cole scoffed. "Too late, he's already hypnotized you and now you're under his control."

"Or he's already put you in a squeeze," Zane told him as he demonstrated by wrapping his tail around his arm and giving it a light squeeze.

"Or spit on you with his hallucinatory venom. Trust me, bad stuff," Kai said as he remembered when he got hit with the venom from the Venomari tribe.

Lloyd groaned. "Uncle, what's the best way to stun a Serpentine if you don't know what kind they are?"

Sensei Wu sighed as he sat down at the edge of the table. "Sadly, it was the Sacred Flute you four carelessly lost."

"Hey, no, no, no, we didn't lose it. Pythor stole it," Jay told him.

"Whatever the case, without it I fear we have nothing to combat their powers. We may have prevented them from uniting in the past, but they will try again, and one day they will be stronger," Sensei Wu said as he poured himself a cup of tea.

"Don't worry. I've almost reached my Full Potential, and when I become the Green Ninja, we're not gonna need any magic flute," Cole said with confidence in his voice.

"You're gonna be the Green Ninja? Hahaha, don't make me laugh," Kai told him.

Jay then said, "Guys, come on, the closest color to green is blue so naturally, I'm gonna be the Green Ninja." Kai, Jay, and Cole started to argue about who would be the Green Ninja and Zane stayed out of it. He still didn't care about being the Green Ninja and he had learned that once they start arguing about it, there was no point in stopping it.

Lloyd walked up to Sensei Wu and said, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's in the box?"

"Your new uniforms." The Ninja gasps in awe as they grabbed the small boxes with their new uniforms.

"Whoa! They've got, like, armor," Jay said excitedly.

"I love the gold highlights," Kai said admiring the gold with the red.

"Battle claws!"

"The material is really light and breathable. There is also a hole for my ears and tail. And it will keep me cool, even in the hot weather." In Zane's previous uniform, the hole for his ears and tail were not there so Sensei Wu had to cut them in. He fixed them with his little knowledge of sewing but to have a uniform with them in was going to make it more comfortable.

Lloyd groaned sadly. "Oh, nothing for me?"

"Um, you get, uh, the box." Sensei Wu slid the empty box to Lloyd. Just then, the alarm started to go off.

Everyone ran to the bridge to see what the danger was and not surprisingly, it was the Serpentine. "Sorry to break up the moment, boys, but a small faction of our slithering friends are stirring up trouble at Mega Monster Amusement Park." cole loaded up images of the Serpentine attack innocent humans and hybrids at the amusement park.

Lloyd gasped excitedly. He was so bored staying inside all day. "Amusement park? Can I go? Can I go with you, please? Let me make things up. I can help." Lloyd pleaded with everyone. He wanted to go, he had never been to the amusement park.

"I'm sorry, nephew. You will stay here, where it's safe," Sensei Wu told him.

Lloyd groaned. "Oh, Ninja get all the fun."

"What do you say, guys? Time to try out the new merchandise?" Jay asked his friends.

In just a few minutes, the Ninja had changed into their new uniforms. "All right. This new stuff feels like it'll really protect us," Cole commented.

"Yet, provides more mobility and doesn't tear if my claws hit it." That was always a problem with his last uniform. Whenever Zane put his uniform on, he would accidentally tear a hole in the material with his claws.

"You wanna strut your stuff on the catwalk, or get down to that amusement park so we can go on some rides?" Jay said with some excitement in his voice.

"I love a good old fashioned roller coaster, but nothing beats this." They jumped off the Bounty and used their vehicles to land, posing to show off their new uniforms to the public.

"Haha! Check that out. And not a scratch on me." Cole said as they put their weapons away. They saw a crowd cheering loudly so they walked over to them.

Jay, thinking they were screaming in terror, said, "Haha, ladies, relax, relax, we have arrived." The crowd moved out of the way and the Ninja were surprised to see the Serpentine tied up.

"Uh, what just happened?" Kai asked.

"Oh, you totally missed it. There were like, icky snakes, and then this mysterious Samurai came in and saved everyone."

"He was, like, gorgeous."

"You saw his face?" Kai asked, ready to fight the man who beat them easily and is taking the spotlight from them.

"No, but we could totally tell. Besides, he doesn't have anything to indicate that he was a hybrid, so we know he's human."

Jay saw Nya approaching them with ice cream in her hands. She gave the ice cream to the two girls who were in love with the Samurai. "Nya, you're here."

"Yeah, you just missed all the action. He just flew in, took care of business, and then flew off. It was pretty cool," She tells him.

"I don't wanna be a Ninja. I wanna be a Samurai," A young boy said as his father dragged him across the park.

"The Samurai is my new hero. We finally have a human hero and one who isn't a hybrid."

"I knew the Samurai could kick the Ninjas' butts."

Zane didn't show off his emotions when he heard a few humans say they prefer the Samurai instead of the Ninja since he was human and one of the Ninja wasn't. It hurt but he wasn't surprised. He knew there will always be humans who hated hybrids.

"Ugh, who is this guy?" Kai said, clearly angry at the Samurai.

"Whoever he is, he's stealing our thunder," Cole said also angry at the Samurai as the crowd started to disperse.

"And we just got these cool new Ninja suits. Argh! I'm gonna say it: I hate Samurai." Jay crossed his arms in anger

Sensei Wu walked up to them with cotton candy in his hands, "Do I hear a hint of jealousy? Maybe this can be a lesson for you."

Jay groaned, "Oh! Not another lesson." Jay then asked curiously, "Hey, how'd you get here so quick?"

Instead of answering Jay's question, Sensei Wu said, "The lesson is iron sharpens iron."

"I do not follow, Sensei," Zane said confused.

"Healthy competition can help you reach your True Potential faster. Do not be jealous of this Samurai, let it inspire you. Oh, Ferris Wheel!" Sensei Wu ran towards the Ferris Wheel.

"Inspire?" Jay said confused.

"Wait a minute. Maybe the old man's right," Kai said with an idea in mind.

"You want us to compete with the Samurai? He's got all the cool gadgets, we don't stand a chance," Cole told him thinking he was nuts to compete with the Samurai.

Kai shook his head. "No, not with him. With us. I say we turn this into our own competition. Whichever of us is skilled enough to catch this mysterious Samurai is probably the best of the bunch." As Kai was talking he took out his sword, scaring someone and they backed away from the golden sword.

"So whoever learns the identity of this Samurai is the one who will become the destined Green Ninja. Ha! I love it," Jay said agreeing with Kai's idea.

"Then it's a bet. May the Green Ninja win," Cole said liking Kai's idea as well.

Reluctantly, Zane agreed to their competition, even though he didn't care about being the Green Ninja. "Ninja, go!"

The alarm in the Bounty blared.

"Multiple snake sightings! They're everywhere!" Nya told them. The Ninja decided to spilt up to fight off the Serpentine.

Zane went to the cold mountains to help some penguin hybrids. He rushed to fight the snakes on his Snowmobile. Once he got there, the Samurai had already taken care of the snakes.

"Huh?" The Samurai laughed at him then flew off. Zane ran to where the Samurai stood and tried to get his scent but to his surprise, it was different from when he first snelled it. 'Odd. Humans can't change their scent, not even hybrids can do this. Even then, how does he know where the Serpentine are attacking?' Zane pondered these questions as he rode back to the Bounty.

In the Forest of Tranquility, Kai encountered three Constrictai.

"Go, Ninja, go!" A trio of girls cheered on Kai but before he could do anything, the Samurai threw a net over the Serpentine. "Oh, Samurai, oh."

"Ninja, go!" Kai tried to fight the Samurai with spinjitzu but the captured him with another net. "Aah! Hey, what's going on?"

Underground, the Samurai fought off more snakes. Cole came out of the shadows, ready to fight the Samurai. "Now I've got you." Cole jumped on the Samurai's robot arm. "Haha!" Apparently, the Samurai was prepared for this. He fired his mech's arm at the wall, knocking Cole out. "Whoa!"

Jay, in women's clothing and holding a blonde wig, looks along a train track before putting the wig on. He jumped onto the track and laid down on it as a train approaches.

In a girly voice, he shouted, "Help! Samurai, where are you? Oh!"

The Samurai X Mech appeared and he was holding some train track lines. Jay, who was in shock by his sudden presence, watched as Samurai X laid the tracks down and moves his mech's arms to its hips as the train moves on the new track as Jay looked on and the mech flew away.

In his normal voice, Jay shouted in anger, "Gah! STUPID SAMURAI!"

Later that day, Kai had to watch Lloyd but instead of doing that, he dropped him off at the Kiddle Arcade.

"Okay, I know it's my turn to look after you, but just play a few games and stay put while I look around. I have a feeling the Samurai may show up." Kai gave Lloyd a few coins to keep him occupied.

"Oh, let me help," Lloyd begged, he wanted to do something besides his normal routine of being on the Bounty all day.

"No."

"Come on. At least drop me off at a decent arcade," Lloyd told him. While this arcade had some decent games, there were better arcades with better games.

"Sorry, shorty." Kai drove off leaving Lloyd in the dust and with dust in his face.

"Kai, wait!" Lloyd coughed the dirt out of his mouth. 'Man, when am I going to have some fun?' Lloyd was about to enter the arcade when he heard a very familiar voice.

"I hear he found it. And everyone is gathering again," Skales told a group of Serpentine. Lloyd hid from behind a corner and saw Skales talking to a small group of Serpentine.

"Impossible. The Lost City does not exist," Fang-Suei told him.

"Well, it isn't lost anymore. Haha. And I heard there's gonna be a fight," Skales told them.

"A fight? Count me in," Fang-Suei said ready to see a fight.

Lloyd followed the Serpentine quietly, wanting to find out what they were up too. He hid in an alleyway as he watched the Serpentine enter a snake-like bus. "All aboard. Next stop, Ouroboros."

Lloyd walked out of the alley. He knew that he couldn't follow Skales and the other Serpentine without getting caught. When he looked up from the ground, he saw a Serpentine disguise in a costume store. 'Perfect!' Using the money Kai gave him, Lloyd bought the Serpentine disguise and got on the bus.

"Hey, you, hold it there," Skales told him.

"Huh?" Lloyd jumped back in fear a bit. 'Have I been caught?!'

"Last one in closes the door," Skales told him, not catching on to Lloyd's disguise.

"Uh, sure thing." Once Lloyd closed the door, he sat down on the bus then bus left Ninjago. Lloyd watched as the bus drove through the desert for about a day and arrives in the City by night. 'Whoa! This must be their new base. I need to inform the others, just as soon as I can find a way back.'

Once they arrived, Skales went to meet with Pythor, while everyone else went to the stands, cheering loudly and ready for a fight. "Just do as I've said, and I promise you will be my second-in-command. Forever," Pythor told Skales. They put cotton in their ears just before Pythor went out to the other Serpentine. "I bring you together to the Lost City of Ouroboros, before the statue of our very own Great Devourer, to speak of unity."

"Where are the fights?" Bytar shouted.

"Where is the big show?" Spitta asked itching to see a fight as well.

"Slither Pit! Slither Pit! Slither Pit! Slither Pit!"

Pythor, getting angry at the shouting Serpentine, jumped off the small platform and shouted, "You want a show? You want to see a fight? I ask for your allegiance but you will not give it. So I will take it." Pythor slithered to the other Serpentine Generals as Skales joined them

"What are you saying?" Fangtom's left head asked.

"I challenge the four tribe Generals for their staffs and their allegiance. At once!" Pythor said with confidence in his voice.

"I fought hard for this staff and will not give it up easily," Acidicus said as he made his way to Pythor

"There's no way he can defeat the four of us at once," Skalidor said, knowing that Pythor will lose this fight.

Pythor hit Skalidor with his tail, knocking him back. Acidicus tried to hit Pythor with his staff but Pythor dodged the attack and punch him. Fangtom also tried to attack him, but Pythor also dodged the attack and was able to hit him with his tail. Banding together, Fangtom, Acidicus, and Skalidor got on top of Pythor, forcing him to the ground. However, with no one looking, Skales secretly handed Pythor the Sacred Flute and he immediately started playing.

While none of the other Serpentine noticed this, Lloyd did. "Oh, he's using the Sacred Flute against his own."

While Skales pretends to cover his ears in pain, the other Serpentine General's cover their ears and get off of Pythor. "My ears!" Skalidor shouted.

"It hurts!" Acidicus shouted in pain.

Skales threw his staff down and Pythor quickly defeats the other Generals.

With the Generals defeated, Pythor shouted, "Bow to your master. Bow to your master, Serpentine!" All the Serpentine bowed and Lloyd tried to but hid hat became loose and he fixed it but he accidentally dropped his rattles. 'Uh, oh.'

Lloyd tried to run off by Memzo grabbed him. "Where do you think you're going?"

With his disguise gone, Pythor immediately recognized him, "Lloyd?" Lloyd gulped in fear. 'Maybe my uncle and the Ninja were right. Maybe I'm not ready for stuff like this yet.'

The next day, the Ninja and Nya are flying in the Bounty while enjoying some tea.

"Trying to find out the Samurai's identity is more of a nuisance than the snakes. Any luck with you?" Cole asked, obviously frustrated that they haven't been able to find out who the Samurai is.

"The guy's elusive. He's like a ghost. One moment he's there, the next he's gone," Jay told him.

"My friends, maybe we shouldn't worry about the identity of the Samurai. After all, he is working to stop the Serpentine, just like we are. Besides, his scent is different with each encounter we face with him, so I do not think we will find out who he is."

Kai sighed in defeat. "I think it's safe to say, none of us are closer to proving we're the Green Ninja."

Sensei Wu entered the room and he seemed pleased, "Looks like iron is sharpening iron. I feel you are getting closer to your True Potential." Sensei Wu lightly squeezed Cole's arm.

"Ow!" Cole lightly moved his arm away from Sensei Wu since it hurt when he squeezed it.

"Where is my nephew? I thought you were looking after him," Sensei Wu said, noticing that Lloyd was missing.

"I thought Cole was gonna pick him up," Kai told him.

"I went to the arcade, but he wasn't there. Jay was..." Cole started but Jay quickly said, "Don't bring me into this. I babysat yesterday."

"Sensei, we have not seen him," Zane told him.

"We must find the boy," Sensei Wu said knowing how much trouble Lloyd could get in if he was alone.

On their vehicles and Kai lead them to the arcade he dropped Lloyd off at. Kai got out of his vehicle and ran inside the arcade "Lloyd? Lloyd?" The others came over once Kai came back outside. "He was right here. Someone must have seen him. Zane, think you can find his scent?"

"I can try." Zane took off his hood to catch Lloyd's scent. Zane walked to the door then started to walk down an alley with the others following him.

"I don't get it, why would the pipsqueak come down the alley?" Jay asked.

"Lloyd went down the alley twice. I can tell that he stopped just around this corner, walked back up then came back down again."

"Any idea why?" Cole asked.

"I am unsure myself, although, you can see his footprints right here then they disappear, along with his scent."

"Great. Now how are we going to find him?" Kai asked.

"Lloyd's scent is not the only thing here. I can also smell Skales along with the other Serpentine tribes. I think they went that way." Zane pointed down the road, in a direction leading out of the city.

"Something tells me we're going for a ride. Come on, boys," Kai told them then they got into their vehicles rode to the City of Ouroboros.

Once they got closer, Cole asked, "What is that place?"

"Looks like snake city," Jay told him.

"Let's get a closer look," Kai suggested.

Guards were all over the city so the Ninja had to sneak around on top of the rocks and snakeheads. They went to the shadows of a colosseum and saw the Serpentine in the Slither Pit. "It appears Pythor has successfully united all of the tribes," Zane said, noticing that all the Serpentine seemed to be getting along.

"I know we ruined their last get-together, but that's no reason to not get an invitation. My feelings are hurt," Cole joked.

Kai looked around and then he spotted Lloyd in a cage. "There's Lloyd." Lloyd was sitting down and he looked miserable.

"Whoa. And look at who they worship." Jay pointed at the large statue in the colosseum.

"Let me guess: the Great Devourer," Cole guessed.

"All the more reason to get Lloyd out of here. This comes to an end today," Kai told them as he took his sword out. The others took their weapons out and rushed out to save Lloyd but they ran into a trap and dropped the Golden Weapons.

Everyone gasped at the sight of the caught Ninja, even Lloyd was shocked. "The Ninja..."

"Looks like we've caught the main event," Pythor said then he laughed evilly. The Serpentine took the Ninja's Golden Weapons away and brought them to the arena.

"Main event? What do you think he meant by "main event"?" Jay asked nervously.

"I have a feeling we're the main event," Kai told him.

The Serpentine were shouting and cheering at the capture, and possible destruction, of the Ninja. "Or the main course," Cole told them.

"Kai, you may be right. Things really may come to an end today," Zane told him.

"Uh, don't worry. The Samurai could still come around to save us," Jay said hopefully.

The Ninja turned to the sound of Pythor's voice as he said, "You say you wanted a battle, and I give you one. I give you Ninja versus Samurai!"

A large gate opens to reveal The Samurai chained up. A few Serpentine came over and removed the chained from The Samurai, freeing him from his prison. "What?! We have to fight the Samurai? But we don't even have our Golden Weapons and he has that hulking thing of armor. It's not fair," Jay complained.

"I want to see once and for all who is the greatest hero. Is it Samurai, or Ninja? Only the victor will be allowed to leave," Pythor announced.

"Stay together," Kai told his friends.

"Perhaps he can join our team to fight our way out? After all, he hates the Serpentine too," Zane suggested. Unfortunately, instead of working with them, The Samurai attacked them by throwing a large metal spike rings at them. The Ninja were able to dodge the attack by ducking but the metal ring hit one of the snake pillars.

"Scratch that. He is not on our team," Cole told them.

The Samurai charged at them and swung his Samurai X mech's hand at them but all of them dodged the attack but jumping over him. Once they were back together in a fighting position, The Samurai immdiatelly turned around and fired another metal ring at them. Cole, Kai, and Zane moved out of the way but Jay just ducked. "Haha, missed me!" He bragged but, like a boomerang, the weapon returned, hitting Jay in the back of his head, and returned to the Samurai.

All of the Serpentine were cheering loudly, even Skales and Pythor were impressed, the Ninja were going to lose the fight.

The Samurai took out his sword and started swinging it at the Ninja. They were forced to split up for a minute with the Samurai swinging his sword at them but eventually managed to get back together. "Tornado of Creation?" Zane asked with a feeling that his friends were down with his idea. They all nodded in agreement. The Tornado of Creation was their only option right now and with it being very powerful, the Samurai didn't even stand a chance.

"Earth!" Cole did his spinjitzu.

"Fire!" Kai did his spinjitzu.

"Ice!" Zane did his spinjitzu.

"Lightning!" Jay did his spinjitzu.

"Ninja, go!" Together, the Ninja made the Tornado of Creation and the Samurai back up, knowing he was outmatched.

Bytar, who lost his lollipop, shouted, "Hey, wait!"

The Ninja were attracting everything from tools to candy and even the rocks themselves. The Samurai even lost his sword. When the Ninja were finished, they made a slingshot. They fired a spiked ball at the Samurai causing him to be flung back near Pythor and Skales. The Ninja were about to attack the two Serpentine but Pythor activated spikes all around the arena.

"Argh! Why can't anyone play fair?" Jay shouted frustratedly.

To add another level of difficultly, Pythor tilted the arena, causing the Ninja to roll down but they caught a spike so they wouldn't fall into the hole below. Even the Samurai nearly fell but he too, caught a spike to keep himself from falling.

"Can this get any worse?" Cole asked, hoping that nothing worse would happen.

"We must continue to make it appear that we are fighting for real," The Samurai told the Ninja.

"Huh, we're not fighting for real?" Jay asked confused, considering that the Samurai tried to kill them.

"Keep up the charade and hold on to my exo-suit." The Ninja jumped on the exo-suit and they tried to fly away but something was wrong.

"There's too much weight!" Kai shouted as they were getting closer to the ground. The Samurai jumped out and the mech blasted off, allowing the Ninja to flee and leaving Samurai alone with the Serpentine.

"I can't believe he just saved us," Cole said with anger in his voice.

"He stole our thunder again!" Kai shouted angrily.

"Argh! I hate that Samurai!" Jay shouted angrily.

"Go, Ninja, go!" Lloyd cheered on the Ninja as they fled.

The Samurai may have been alone, but he certainly wasn't outmatched. He landed on the stands and knocked out a Fangpyre and a Venomari. He jumped to the ground and rushed to help Lloyd. However, that proved to be impossible since Pythor grabbed Lloyd and held him hostage. "Get him!"

Surrounded and unable to save Lloyd, The Samurai decided that he would get the Golden Weapon, "Magnetizer activated." The Samurai took the Golden Weapons, wrapped them up in a big cloth, then flew away but before he left, the Samurai activated the tilting floor, causing a few snakes to fall into the pit. The Samurai landed on top of the statue of the Great Devourer and did a small bow before taking off. Pythor growled in anger at the defeat of both of his enemies. 'I will destroy the Ninja and the Samurai one day. The Devourer will devour them all and all those humans who forced us in those vile tombs.'

The Ninja were not doing great since the Samurai's mech suit was flying out of control. "How do you turn this thing off?" Kai shouted.

Since no one knew how to turn it off, the mech swan dived and crashed in the desert. Jay stood up and dusted the sand off his body. He looked and saw Zane standing up and was getting sand off his tail and his ears. He eventually saw Cole standing up as well. looked around and he couldn't find Kai so he asked, "Where's Kai?" He hoped the others knew and maybe Zane could find him like how he found Lloyd.

Kai landed somewhere else with his head down in the sand. He eventually was able to get out but his hood was down and he had sand in his hair and mouth. Kai spit the sand out of his mouth and got the sand out of his hair as best as he could. Kai soon noticed that he was alone, Jay, Cole, and Zane were missing. "Guys!" Suddenly, Kai noticed the Samurai flying pass him. "Huh? The Samurai?

The Samurai jet pack started to fail and, he too crashed into the desert. Kai ran to the Samurai, hoping to finally see who was under the mask. Kai hid behind a rock and watched as the Samurai was talking to himself. "Testing. Testing? One, two." The Samurai took their helmet off, revealing themselves to be none other than, "Nya?" Kai asked as he walked towards her.

Nya quickly put her helmet back on and tried to make Kai go away. "Steer clear, Ninja! Don't look..." She took the helmet off, knowing that it was of no use, Kai now knew that she was the Samurai."...at me."

"I don't understand. You're the Samurai?" Kai asked her.

"It was always a boy's club. You never let me try to help, so I found my own way to be a hero. Are you mad?" She asked, hoping he wasn't because now that he knew, he might make her stop.

"Mad? Of course not. It's just, all this time, I've been trying to protect you and you've never needed it. You're amazing," He told her. He had been protecting his sister since their parents left them and seeing that she can take care of herself made him feel more at ease.

Nya punched his arm and said, "Girl power." Then she asked, "You're not gonna tell the others, are you?"

"But we had a bet. We said whoever caught the Samurai would be the Green..." The look on his sister's face said otherwise. Kai knew better than to betray his sister. He sighed then told her, "Of course I won't say anything. How'd you make all this stuff? More importantly, how did you disguise your scent from Zane? I was sure he would have found out by now."

You'd be surprised how much spare time I have waiting for you guys to come back from your missions and I just use scents powerful enough to block my own. Which is probably why Zane says that the Samurai smells different with each encounter." Nya handed Kai the Golden Weapons and told him, "You better head back before anyone gets suspicious. We'll have to rescue Lloyd another day."

"Nya, whenever I get in trouble, the other three always have my back. But you...just be careful, will you?"

Nya nodded and told him, "Promise."

Then Kai realized something, "How are you gonna get back?"

"I have my ways." Nya pressed a button on her helmet to get the mech suit back.

Back with the others, Jay was calling Kai's name, hoping he had fallen off the mech suit close by, "Kai? Zane, can you get his scent?"

"Unfortunately, no. There is too much sand in the air for me to catch it. Kai?"

From behind the Ninja, the Samurai's mech stood up. Jay, Cole, and Zane noticed this and ran towards it. "Quick. Get it. It's gonna get away!" They tried to get it but it was too late, the mech had flown back to Nya. "Great. Now we lost Kai, the Samurai suit is gone, and we have no way to get home," Jay complained.

"I wouldn't say that." Cole pointed to Kai, who was waving Cole's scythe at them.

The Ninja returned to the Bounty and were brushing their teeth as Kai was telling them about his encounter with the Samurai. "He was all mysterious. Never said a word. Then handed me the Golden Weapons and poof, he was gone."

"Poof? He just poofed?" Cole asked skeptically.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a minute, Kai. If the Samurai had his hands on the most powerful weapons in the whole wide world, why would he just give them back to you?" Jay asked, wondering why the Samurai wouldn't want the most powerful weapons in Ninjago to himself.

"Um, I don't know. Maybe she..." From behind Sensei Wu, Nya was shaking her head, as if she was telling Kai not to give away the true identity of the Samurai. "I mean, he's not so bad after all. All I do know is that we owe him our lives. Maybe he has made is all a little better."

"I sense this means the bet is off," Zane said which he was grateful for. He thought the bet was pointless anyway. How would figuring out the identity of the Samurai make one of them the Green Ninja?

"More importantly, my nephew has found his way into the den of all snakes. I fear there may be no way of rescuing him now."

"Sensei, there's always a way," Kai reassured Sensei Wu.

"And don't worry. We'll find it," Cole told him.

Sensei Wu left the Ninja's room and walked over to Nya, who was about to enter her room. "I think you forgot this." Sensei Wu gave her a Samurai weapon. "Iron sharpens iron, and sibling sharpens sibling." He left her to her thoughts as she went to her room.

'Should have known Sensei Wu would have figured out I was the Samurai.'

So kind of a heads up, I am going to have Zane reach his true potential first. Since that is the case, the next episode might take a while. I already know what I want to do, I will just need some time to figure it out and make it a good chapter. Trust me, it may be a tear-jerker.

Anyway, thanks for reading. Don't forget to fav, follow, and review, please. :)
