Chapter 4: High Travoltage
Chris stood on the Dock Of Shame, with his elimination methods standing tall before him. He sported a 1950s style leather jacket with black sunglasses to top the look all off. The camera panned over him as he opened the show. "Last time on Total Drama Nostalgia, the contestants got a real knock out of the challenges, courtesy of yours truly. We saw Cody, Noah, Amy, Carbon Copy Samey, Duncan and his spiteful old flame, Gwen, have fun in a game of dodgeball," Chris laughed. "Then we saw these groovy kids hunt each other down in a game of manhunt dodgeball with sternums needing ice packs, faces getting bruised and more. All this led to our ultimate tiebreak challenge where they fought hard for the control of balls in a muddy arena to hurl into opposing basket. In the end, fate once again proves that Villainy prevails when the Villainous Lions won and The Tigers lost...again! In the end, Sierra was the ultimate loser and thanks to some scheming by Amy and her lackeys, she got the boot."
The camera panned on Chris once more and specifically on the key parts of his 1950s greaser style outfit. "I won't lie, a very small part of me will miss that crazy blogger, she has better pictures of me than my camera crew, anyways, no time to dwell on the past, time to focus on the now," Suddenly, a 1950s style tune began to play. "Will this week's challenge be as smooth as Grease?" The host began dancing in an awkward manner that made the interns chuckle, until he glared. "Or will they be as painful as Lightning? You'll have to sit your summer loving butts down and find out here, only on, Total...Drama...Nostalgia! Man I love this show."
Back in the Loser Cabin, the blackmailed axis consisting of Cody, Mike and Amy were all inside the guy's side of the cabin. Tyler and Owen weren't present as they had gone off somewhere together.
"Okay, so here's who we're going to target next, that loser of an athlete, Tyler."
Mike and Cody had immediate looks of defiance of their faces. More so Cody than Mike. "The dude's my friend, no way man!"
Amy merely grinned before reminding Cody and Mike of their alliance 'agreement'. "You two forgot your deal? Unless you guys had a change of heart and want to see Gwen and Zoey suffer my wrath."
Both guys sighed with defeat while Amy smiled with dishonest sincerity.
Confessional (Amy): "This is totally fun, with Mike and Cody slavishly obeying my commands, I've got an automatic two votes in my favor every time our team loses. Technically four if you count Cody's weird crush and friendship Gothy, and her annoying lawyer BFF. In the end, they're all going down."
Static*
All of the girls, minus Amy, were on the girl's side of the Loser Cabin, discussing a common concern amongst themselves. Dawn was very expressive about her concerns.
"My dear friends, we must act now if we are to rid ourselves of this evil on our team, i sensed something very strange and fishy about Sierra's elimination."
"Yeah for sure, something ain't right about that." Leshawna looked very angry. "And I know it had something to to do with that flat butted rich witch, Amy."
"I agree." Gwen added. "The next chance we get, we vote her off, no questions asked, right Courtney?"
Surprisingly, "Big deal girls, I don't see what all the concern's for. To me, she seems like nothing more than another lame brain, blonde haired bimbo like Lindsay, I'm certain we'll vote her off eventually. Either that, or she'll take herself out of the game. We should eliminate the weak-links on our team like Mike and Tyler, and what we really should be doing is trying to get inside that spa hotel "
Courtney took account to Leshawna and Gwen glaring. "What?" She then realized the rudeness of her comments. "Oh, sorry, force of habit."
"Moving on..."
Later, Alejandro and Scott were having a fine breakfast in the Spa Hotel as The Villainous Lions were the winners of the last challenge. Alejandro and Scott were making strategic conversation with each other regarding their alliance.
"Scott my friend, I believe this alliance is running smoothly thus far, we're almost guaranteed a trip to the merge and finale."
"I agree man, but I gotta say, we've gotta get to work before they notice."
A curious Alejandro took a bite of his pancakes and bacon. "What do you have in mind amigo?"
Scott took a huge bite out of his steak. "What I mean is, we've gotta start picking off our teammates before they realize me, you and Lightning are in an alliance."
"Who do you have in mind Scott?"
"I'm thinking we should target the weaklings on our team, mainly blondie, the nerdy guy and the set of sisters we got. Jo, Heather, Duncan and Zoey are far to smart to fall for any of our tactics."
Alejandro nodded and smiled. "I'm inclined to agree with you Scott, we shall start off small, then work our way to our much stronger enemies."
But what they did not know was that Jo was doing jumping jacks in a corner away from them and heard everything that they had said.
Confessional (Jo): "Suspicions confirmed, so it looks like Farmer Boy, Lightless and The Latin Loser formed an alliance. Interesting...if I can get in that alliance somehow and start running it with an iron fist, I can do two things, one, get rid of that skimpy little twig, Heather, and two, use them until they're all eliminated before or by the time the merge happens...nobody outsmarts me..." Jo pointed at the camera and grinned menacingly. "Nobody."
Static*
Away from Jo, Alejandro, Scott and Lightning, Emma eyed all four of them with cautious thinking. Although she could not hear anything the guys were saying, she easily figured it out.
Confessional (Emma): "If I'm gonna be a successful lawyer in the future, I've gotta point out all facts in a possible case. Judging by how secretive those three dimwits were, and how much Jo was staring at them, I'm guessing the guys are in an alliance and Jo's probably coming up with a plan with to either sabotage or get in the alliance for herself...I know, I'm good at what I do."
Static*
Emma continued to read her book about the history of law after she took her eyes off of the guys. She decided to spend some down time away from Noah and her sister to refresh her mind.
That was until, "You know, don't think just because you did good in the last challenge, that means you can dominate this team, that's my job, got it, newbie?"
Emma sighed in annoyance. She looked up from her law history book to see Heather, standing over her, and trying to assort her dominance like her rival Jo. She closed the book. "Listen here, if you and Jo want to run around like dingbats and try and take over the team, I don't care, all that matters is that I'm here to win, and no one's gonna stop me, i.e, you." Emma took her book and walked off, leaving behind a bewildered Heather in the process.
Confessional (Heather): "Who does that little BIT.-UGH!"
Static*
Zoey and Duncan sat on the long couch, both eating apples and conversing with one another. Zoey genuinely enjoyed talking to Duncan about stuff.
"...So, you mean to tell me that someone as sickly nice, naive and gullible as you, grew up basically a dorkette with no friends in a small town?"
Zoey was slightly taken aback by the semi harsh comment. "Uhh, yeah Duncan, I grew up in a small town, without many friends, and I'm an only child, but that was before I met Mike, Cam, Brick, Gwen and you."
Suddenly Duncan faked coughed. "You consider me a friend? Never got the chance to finish asking you why last time?"
Zoey didn't look bothered this time. "Well I mean, yeah aren't we? We hang out with each other and talk to each other a lot, after all I'm still trying to help you out with your Gwen problem. And I thought you helping figure out 'Mike' wasn't who he seems during season five was one of the sweetest things someone's ever done for me."
"Please...don't."
"Don't what?" Zoey asked, clearly confused.
"Say things like sweet, sweetie and a bunch of other girlie junk like that, it doesn't feel right." Duncan started shuddering as if he were creeped out.
This only caused Zoey to laugh quietly at him. Duncan looked at her, clearly annoyed that he was being laughed at.
Confessional (Zoey): "I think me and Duncan are making great progress as friends, even if he won't outright say it. He's fun and easy to get to know, I just wish he and Gwen could fix their issues as easy as this."
Static*
Kitty and Samey sat across from each other eating plates of cookies and having some girl talk. Noah sat not to far away from the girls, completely focused on whatever book he happened to be reading.
"Soo, who do you think is the cutest guy on our team?"
Samey thought about it for a minute, then gave her response. "I'll say Alejandro, he's cute in all ways, but he's just too evil and manipulative, I'm surprised he and my sister aren't best friends. Also, I know about his reputation from World Tour. And besides that, he's got Heather. What about you, Kit?"
"I say Duncan..." Samey was a little surprised, but listened to her friend's reasoning. "He tries so hard to be seen as sour on the outside, but he's a really sweet guy. Lightning is just to..."
Suddenly Lightning's voice was heard, "Alright chicken and waffles, time for you to meet the Lightning's stomach! S...Uh, T-U...M...This ain't a spelling bee! It's pure protein time!"
"You see my point?"
"Yeah." Samey quickly replied.
Almost instantly, the voice of Chris roared through the intercom. "Good day competitors, report to the Dock Of Shame for today's challenge! Don't flip your wig yet guys and gals, I'm the man of this show and I promise you'll have a groovy digging time."
The two girls were completely confused by Chris using an odd phrase like 'Don't flip your wig' and 'groovy digging'.
The two teams soon arrived at the Dock Of Shame, but there was no Chris there.
Noah broke the silence first. "So uh, does anybody know where our deranged middle aged reality show host is at today? He needs to hurry up and reveal what life threatening he has in store for us today." Most of the competitors shrugged it off.
Shortly after Noah's remark about Chris, Chef appeared, but he wasn't wearing his normal clothes. Instead he was dressed up in a yellow skirt and sweater set, complete with a white shirt underneath it and white shoes. He even had a wig, which was a dirty blonde like texture. Some of the contestants had a look of either horror or disgust while others were laughing hysterically at Chef, particularly Gwen, Courtney, Duncan, Heather, Jo, Noah, etc. Chef just gave the kids a dull glare.
"Oh man!" Duncan's hands were on his knees. "That's messed up, Chef, is there something special your trying to tell us?"
The Ex-Con's comment caused even more laughter to erupt. Chef twitched in anger.
"Chef, dude that is sick," Cody added.
"Seriously man, what's with the getup." Owen added.
"Yo Chef, you are one weird dude." Lightning said.
"Seriously bro," Tyler was grossed out as well.
Scott didn't look shocked. "Meh, looks like one of papi's friends on the barn."
Chef couldn't take anymore of the nonsense, "SHUT IT MAGGOTS!" Almost instantly, the competitors stopped laughing and were now a little frightened by the anger of Chef. "Now why am I wearing these ridiculous clothes? Shut the heck up and I'll tell ya! The reason I'm wearing this is because of today's challenge, it will now be brought upon, but the one and only, Chris McZuko!"
On cue, some of the interns appeared carrying a large cardboard box. The box had a drawing of a 1950s style car on it, with the different parts of the car respectively drawn on each part of the box as if it were actually a car. Chris suddenly shot out from the box, started dancing, which greatly confused the heck out of the competitors. Music started playing and then he started singing.
To the tune of Greased Lightning 1978:
"I am supreme! The chicks'll scream..."
"For Drama and Teens Fightinggggggg!"
"I am the host with the most and you all are jokes.
Interns:
"ALL JOKES...ALL-ALL JOOKKEEEES!"
Chris:
"WHO IS A MULTI TIME GEMMIE AWARD WINNER?!
Interns:
"GEMMIE! OH OH, GEMMIE!"
Chris:
"I AM SUPREME, CHICKS'll SCREAM, FOR CHRIS LIGHTNINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!"
The brief musical number from Chris ended with Chris, Chef and the interns posing as if they were in an actual musical. Chris noticed the dead silence he got and was partially offended that no one had clapped. He gave a small glare, then a fake cough towards the interns and then they started clapping and cheering, even if they didn't mean it.
"Why thank you, at least someone's appreciative." The competitors and even Chef all looked annoyed. "Anyways, here's a little throwback to the season concept of Total... Drama...Action!" Once again no one cared enough to respond. "You guys are lame, like seriously, really lame. Anyways, welcome to today's challenge, it'll be centered around the musical classic movie Grease, which was released in 1978, if you youngsters haven't guessed it already."
"We get it grandpa, your old and like torching us inferior youth." Chris dully glared at Jo for her comments, especially the 'grandpa' bit of it.
"Alright enough over-dramatics and petty insults, save them for later, before I get In to today's movie themed challenges, I have two exciting announcements to make. The first one being something classic, this season, the McLean Invincibility statue is making its return. It's hidden somewhere on the Island. It could be in an area on the Island we've already been in, or an area we haven't checked out yet. Remember, this Island aka animal reserve is hugeeee, so it could be anywhere. Find that bad boy, and you're guaranteed safety from elimination at the one elimination ceremony of your choosing this season."
Some of the competitors seemed happy with this, especially Scott.
Confessional (Scott): "Once I get my hands on that statue, again, I'll have full control over my alliance with Alejandro and Lightning." He rubbed his hands together and laughed as if he were a supervillain.
Static*
Chris then made his second 'exciting' announcement. "And now for my second announcement, you'll love this one. I've decided that since we're paying homage to the all time musical classic of Grease, today, you'll all be dressing up in the style of 1950s greaser culture!"
The groans of annoyance were heard from the competitors, but this rarely fazed Chris, who had the biggest smile on his face. Soon Chef, who was still in his woman's attire from before had a good sized box in his hands. He dropped it on the ground and began handing everyone their outfits, starting the gals of both teams.
"For the gals, you'll be wearing these stylish female 1950s greaser outfits fitted with the iconic black leather jackets, a black women's shirt along with the matching black pants to top it all off." The girls on both teams received their brand new outfits from Chef, courtesy of Chris. The gals seemed happy enough with the outfits, well, all except Jo. She absolutely loathed the girly-ness of the outfit.
Confessional (Jo): "I wanted barf so badly, but host man would probably try to cheat me and disqualify or something like that."
Static*
"And for you young and cool dudes," Chris looked at the male competitors, he grinned. "Since the ladies outfits alone sliced my pockets in half a bit, you'll all be wearing used greaser outfits from wherever clearance place me and Chef got this stuff from." Chris and Chef chuckled quietly. The guys received their outfits consisting of used loafer shoes, much more smellier and disgusting leather jackets than what the girls had got and finally a pair of decent looking black pants. The guys on both teams immediately began protesting in defiance.
"Like I'm ever gonna put this piece of crap on McLean, forget it." Duncan was about to throw away the entire outfit, as were some of the other guys on his team, and the other, but Chris stopped them immediately.
"Not so fast, if the guys don't put on their clothes, two players from each team will both be immediately disqualified and have a one way trip down The Dock Of Shame and out of the competition. So what's it gonna be, dudes?"
The guys now looked nervous, it was either wear the crappy outfit or be automatically disqualified.
Courtney for one, wasn't gonna let her team lose three episodes in a row. Before they even said anything, she gave them a piece of her mind. "Come on, your big boys, suck it up and wear the flipping clothes! We are not losing three in a row because of your stupid manhood, so your gonna pick up these stupid attires and where them like your momma told you to."
Owen, Cody, Tyler and Mike all gulped as they knew Courtney wasn't playing any games. And they all knew better than to get on Courtney's bad side.
"Oh alright." Owen started.
"Fine." Mike and Tyler added, begrudgingly.
"If it's for the good of our team, I'll do it," Mike now had a look of confidence.
"Nice leadership Courtney, that's what I'm talking about." Gwen high-fived her friend.
"Now that's what I'm talking about girlfriend, give me something!" Leshawna hugged Courtney.
"Your aura shines very brightly Courtney," The three looked at Dawn. "You have a fiery spirit and the heart of a true queen, your great leadership proves this."
Amy continuously ignored her teammates, having a bigger plan in mind.
Confessional (Amy): "If I can somehow find that invincibility statue, and take it for myself, my insurance policy is secured and I'll practically be untouchable for the entire season."
Static*
After the guys decided that risking elimination was not worth it, Chris began to explain today's challenges properly. "Alright, finally, with all of that out of the way, I can tell you all what today's challenges will be. Your first challenge will be a nod to one of our challenges from season two, building a set. You'll have to race back and forth bringing your set pieces to the beach. Then after you've done that, you'll have to build whatever it is I intended the sets to be. First team to do that, wins. For the second challenge, it'll be a trivia game about the movie Grease." Chris winked at the camera. "Are we all clear?" The competitors nodded. "Good, now go put your outfits on and report back here in ten minutes."
The ten minutes had gone by and the teams were all dressed in their 'greaser' attires.
"Alright guys, the set pieces are all located near the Loser Cabin and Spa Hotel. If I remember correctly, they should be at the foot of both cabins. Are you guys ready?"
Everyone nodded.
"Good, now on your marks, get set, gooo!" Chris sounded off an airhorn and the contestants immediately began running towards the campgrounds. Once they were gone, Chris turned over to Chef, who was still in his women's attire from before, and began to take a jab. "What's new, Cheffy Olsson?"
Chef grumbled under his breath before walking away out of irritation.
Chris just chuckled before taking a deep breath.
Heather was initially the first to show up at her team's pile of set pieces. She went for one straight ahead and didn't waste anytime trying to life it. But the only problem was, it was too heavy for her to get off of the ground.
"Heather, allow me to be of assistance."
She looked up to see Alejandro behind her and lifting the heavy set piece with little to no effort.
"Thank yo-I mean, finally your making yourself useful instead of being a charming jerk. Now move it!"
Alejandro wasn't bothered by her tone. In fact, he looked like he wanted her to yell more. "You make a beautiful Greaser Heather." Alejandro just left her there, absolutely perplexed.
A short time later, Scott and Lightning had arrived at there pile and had two pieces each in their hands.
"Aw yeah! Team Dude 2.0 for the win, Sha-Bam!" Lightning offered a fist bump for Scott, who reluctantly returned it. Scott rolled his eyes once he saw the opportunity. Lightning disappeared away from his alliance member. And a nearby Jo saw this as the perfect opportunity to execute her plan.
Confessional (Jo): "And that's where my brilliant plan begun."
Static*
"Hey, dirt boy?"
Scott turned over and saw Jo, and he didn't look happy to see her. "What do you want Jo?"
"I know about your little alliance with Alejandro and old Brightening over there. I'll make this short and sweet, I want In. Ditch Lightning and let me take his place."
Scott merely laughed, "And why should we let you in our alliance, you ain't exactly trustworthy Jo, and besides, I like our chances with muscle head."
"Because for one, I'm much stronger, faster and obviously smarter than him. If I were you, I wouldn't bet on muscle power over brain power. He's more idiotic than a bag of bricks."
Suddenly, Lightning was heard nearby from the chatting pair. "Oh yeah! The Lightning train has left the station! S-T-A...-Uhh, S..."
Jo only laughed and grinned, quietly, proving her point to Scott. "Like I said, bag...of...bricks." Jo ran off with her set piece, leaving Scott thinking about just what to do regarding his alliance.
Zoey had a very heavy set prop in her hands. While she was managing to carry it, it was a lot difficult than she had anticipated. She was sweating at this point, and nearly fell over.
Confessional (Zoey): "Who knew fake props could be so heavy, ouch."
Static*
Mike, who was nearby had saw that his girlfriend was about to fall over, immediately tried rushing to her side until.
"Got you."
"Thanks Duncan, your a life saver."
"Uh, sure whatever."
Mike was absolutely bewildered and screaming on the inside.
Confessional (Mike): "So not only am I being blackmailed into helping Amy, for the well-being of my girlfriend, but Duncan's now the life saver of said girlfriend now? Seriously, life stinks right now!"
Static*
Gwen and Courtney were racing and carrying a large set piece together. Judging by how long it looked, the girls guessed it must have been a wall of some sort.
"What the heck do you think Chris has a building? A life sized bear trap?"
Gwen laughed. "Is that even possible?"
"Gwen, we should know as veterans on this stupid show, anything can be possible with Chris as the show's host. But enough about that middle aged wannabe, you look smoking as a girl greaser."
"Really? Nah, I like it, but it's not something I'd wear regularly."
"Nonsense, you look great."
The two smiled and laughed while moving with the piece they were carrying together. It feels good to be friends again. Gwen eyes fell upon Courtney, as did hers in return. Before anything else could happen. Gwen saw her other friend, Cody coming in from the opposite direction.
"Hey, Cody, what's up? Sierra going home really helped boost up your game, am I right?"
Instead of the typical relived quip, Cody's face fell through sadness. He looked away from Gwen and continued running, confusing Gwen, and even Courtney in the process.
"What was that about?"
"Not sure Gwen, he's your friend, I thought you'd know everything about him."
Confessional (Cody): "Gwen won't understand it yet, but it's for her own good, I always defend the people I care about."
Static*
Noah, Kitty and Samey saw Emma carrying an unhealthy amount of props and pieces of whatever set they were supposed to building. The three of them greatly looked concerned about the well-being of the young law student, but she had insisted she was fine.
Noah relentlessly tried to assist her. "Uh Emma, babe, your gonna kill yourself, there's four of us here, just let me, Kit and Goldilocks over here help you."
"Seriously Em, I get that your motivated and want to win, believe me sis, so do I, but you don't have to break your back to prove it. We all know your very capable."
Samey stood between Kitty and Noah, absolutely astounded by how far her friend's older sister was willing to go. Being the polite person she is, "Um, hi, are you sure you don't want our help, Emma?"
Emma refused to budge. "No thanks...I'm fine.." One of her pieces fell from the top. "Totally fine, just focus on the challenge."
Samey, Kitty and Noah just shrugged and walked off, absolutely baffled.
Confessional (Emma): "I can't have people like Heather trying to step over me, so I'm sending a message to her and everybody else that this girl's in it to win it. I'm not showing any signs of weakness." Ironically, this is when Emma's hands started to hurt and she shook them to lose the pain.
Static*
Owen was lugging pieces of his team's set back and forth and Tyler was along for the ride. Since Owen was a bigger guy then everybody else competing this season, he didn't struggle as much as the rest of the competitors.
Owen was running, in the process dragging a piece on the ground with him while carrying Tyler and some other set pieces as well. "Oh yeah, way to go Owen!"
Owen was too distracted by his running and gasps of air. Once he reached his team's pile, he wasted no time in dropping what was already in his hands, as well as Tyler, who was now buried under a ton of props as well. Owen didn't even realize this, or the groans of pain that followed from Tyler afterwards.
Chris later stood before both piles as competitors were bringing in the lasts bits and whatnot. The challenge had went by surprisingly smooth. Some were even wondering why Chris hadn't done something to halt their efforts.
Confessional (Owen): "No Chef throwing things at us from some other place..." Owen shuddered remembering the time his jaw was broken.
Static*
Confessional (Samey): "Something's not right here, Chris didn't interfere with the challenge..."
Static*
The competitors soon finished bringing everything to the two large piles of unbuilt sets. This is when Chris spoke up.
"Alright guys, you should all remember what I told you earlier, get to building these things, first one wins, move it Let's get on with it."
Immediately, the two teams began assessing their respective piles.
At the assembly pile of the Villainous Lions, things weren't going well, as nearly everyone was bickering with each other about how they should go about building this stuff.
Heather as usual was forcibly trying to take charge of the operation. "I say we should have two of us each working together on something, it's the only thing that makes sense people!"
"No, we should all grab a piece of junk and start building whatever crap it's supposed to be." Jo moved her hands together. "Then we all come together and put the whole thing together, just like that. No way am I taking orders from you queeny, so back off, I'm taking charge."
"Well you should all stand back, let Lightning take charge and be the champion of this team!"
"Shut up jockstrap!" Heather and Jo snarled at the same time. The two realized what happened and immediately went back to yelling at each other, with Lightning joining the party. Then Scott and Alejandro joined the argument, followed by Noah, Emma and Duncan joining it as well, leaving only Zoey, Samey and Kitty standing there, with looks of worry on each of their faces.
Confessional (Kitty): "Our team is so dead if we don't get it together, it was one thing when me and Emma couldn't work together properly for some parts of the race, but with ten other people who can't cooperate with each other, this is gonna be a very long season."
Static*
Over at the assembly pile of the Heroic Tigers, it was going much smoother than the other team. Besides the occasional glares Amy shot at Dawn and Leshawna, both of whom shot one back, the operation was overall smooth, thanks to the leadership of Courtney.
"Alright guys, if we work as a very cohesive team, we should get this challenge done in no time, here's what we're gonna do, Me, Gwen and Owen will assemble the wall looking things, since Owen's the biggest, he'll help me and Gwen hold up these heavy things, and keep them in place. Leshawna, Amy and Dawn will assemble the obviously fake looking furniture, Chris is such a cheapskate." This caused Gwen to chuckle. "And Mike, Cody and Tyler will just piece together whatever is leftover, got it?"
They all nodded and then immediately got to work.
Confessional (Courtney): "I actually have a shot at winning the million this year, if I can stay focused and motivated, as well as eliminate all distractions, I'll finally get what's rightfully mines."
Static*
A few minutes had passed by and the competitors had managed to get somewhere with building the sets. Needless to say, Chris was impressed with the progress. "Way to go guys, you all may have a future is production." The competitors grimaced.
With the dude trio consisting of Cody, Mike and Tyler, the random props lying around were getting put together. What was constructed was door, a school locker and other various items.
"Oh yeah, we're rocking out this challenge am I right dudes?" Tyler expected a high five from the both of his friends. He received them, but they looked like they were having a bad day.
"Yeah, we are. Totally." Mike said, in the most enthusiastic way possible. He was in another world, thinking about two particular individuals, his girlfriend and Amy.
"Right on," An unemotional Cody added.
Tyler was a little confused, "Uh, you guys alright? You sound bummed out."
Cody and Mike merely nodded, giving a false impression. It was enough to convince the jock to go back to assembling more props.
With Gwen and Courtney, they were working well together. Owen had just finished hammering down the large walls of the set. He saw how well the two girls were getting along with each other.
"Aw, you guys are like the cutest little pair of girl greasers ever."
As he chuckled like he normally would, he failed to notice Courtney had hidden her face from Gwen and was now blushing. Gwen to had failed to notice the expression on the faces of the CIT.
"Gee," Gwen started. "Thanks Owen, you know, I still think the outfit stinks and isn't my style, but I do like the leather jacket, I might keep it, but the rest of it can burn, am I right, Courtney? Hey Court, you in there?"
That was a close call. Once Courtney was certain the red on her face was gone, she regained her composure to talk to Gwen and Owen, "Yeah, yeah, but, I for one tend to like the whole outfit, it fits me in a weird way."
"Me to!" Owen enthusiastically added. "At first I wasn't a fan of it because of the stench, but after a while, It makes me feel so much cooler." Owen began to dance, causing Gwen and Courtney to give looks of amusement, Amy to roll her eyes in annoyance, Mike, Cody and Tyler to look perplexed and Leshawna and Dawn to look astounded and amused.
"No, I still say we should do it my way!"
"No, my way is better, Heather-less, now back off!"
The Villainous Lions had stopped arguing with each other for the most part, but the tension was still present. While Heather and Jo continued to bicker like children, everyone else was piecing together whatever it was they could build on their own, disregarding the teamwork factor the other team had gone for.
Most of the team had failed to notice that Scott wasn't doing anything. He looked like he was looking for something. In fact, that's exactly what he was doing.
Confessional (Scott): He had an annoyed face. His arms were folded. "No matter what, I gots to get me that invincibility statue, once I get it, just maybe, I can start throwing the challenges and putting the blame on my teammates."
Static*
Scott hadn't seemed to notice that his fellow alliance member, Alejandro was looking at him with caution and curiosity. "Scott my friend, looking for something?"
Scott quickly dismissed. "Just trying to keep an eye out for bears man, don't want anything bad to happen to our team."
Alejandro wasn't sold, but obliged. "That is very generous of you."
Confessional (Alejandro): "Of course I don't believe Scott." He put his hand on his chin. "Looks like I'll have to keep a much closer eye on my farm-based alliance member."
Static*
"So if we lose here, are we still booting her?"
"Yes Leshawna, her days of evil mustn't lengthen." Dawn looked at Amy, whom was not paying attention to either of them.
Amy noticed Leshawna was glaring at her and returned the glare back.
Confessional (Amy): "They're trying to gang up on me, not that I'm worried, but I've got to make sure that doesn't happen. Leshawna has got to go, I'll deal with that dollar store fortune teller later. If I can somehow gain another vote along with mines, Cody and Mike's..."
Static*
Amy looked at all of her occupied teammates. Gothy and The Wannabe Lawyer are inseparable. Then she realized something. The Twin smiled as her eyes fell upon Owen...
More time had passed and the teams were nearly done with their sets. Chef and Chris had decided to inspect the sets and so far, they were impressed with the Heroic Tigers thus far.
"Sweet work Tigers, you guys look like you know what your doing." Chris looked at the Villainous Lions a few feet away and his smile fell. "Lions, what's going on, pick up the pace,"
the Villainous Lions ignored him and continued to work on their set.
Samey realized something. She pulled out a prop from the remainder of her team's pile. It was a averaged sized locker. She put two and two together and realized exactly what they were building: A high school hallway. "Hey guys, I know what were supposed to be making." Soon her confident grin fell when all eyes were directed towards her.
"Well, spit it out, Goldilocks." Jo replied.
Samey did just that. "We're supposed to be making a high school hallway, I mean look at the stuff we've got so far, lockers, doors, walls? I mean it's pretty obvious and it all adds up when you think about it."
"Blondie's right, It looks exactly like our average school hallways," Noah then gave it more thought. "That must mean the final challenge is gonna revolve around a scene from the movie."
Suddenly Chris's voice was heard. "And The Heroic Tigers win the first challenge!"
As the said team cheered, the Villainous Lions looked absolutely baffled. How could they have won so fast?
"What?! How?!"
Chris tuned over to Jo and explained. "Well Jo, had you and your entire team hadn't spent most of your time arguing with one another, you guys might've actually finished building what Samey said, the set of a high school hallway! And like Noah said, these sets will be used as a part of the final challenge."
"Great, just great." Heather looked at Samey and glared. "Why didn't you say anything sooner? I guess what they say is true, blondes are dumb."
Samey looked disappointed. But at the same time she was shocked that she was getting blamed.
Confessional (Samey): She sighed, her voice filled with disappointment. "I was just trying to help, why did I get blamed?"
Static*
"Cut her some slack, at least she figured it out!" Samey turned to see Kitty, who was directly in the face of Heather, pointing at her. "I won't sit idly by and let you talk to my friend like she isn't a human being."
Heather glared at Kitty. "Oh, go jump off a Cliff, and take your loser blonde friend and lame sister with you."
Instead of being offended, Kitty said. "Wow, how does your boyfriend put up with you. You've got to be a bad girlfriend."
As Heather went wide eyed, Chris smiled and Alejandro walked towards Heather. "Ignore her Heather, she does not know how true of a Queen you are."
"Oh shut it, Alejandro." Heather walked away from Alejandro, Kitty and Samey. "I will ruin you all."
"Alright settle down." Chris chuckled under his breath. "As much as I would love to see you guys prove to the entire viewing world that you all need some professional consulting, we've gotta get on with the show. Since the Lions failed to finish building their set, Chef and the interns will have to finish it up for them, and then some, so everyone stand aside for now."
After a while, Chef and a few of the other interns finished assembling the set the Villainous Lions had failed to complete. Now the competitors had two huge complete sets of enclosed high school looking hallways.
Chris spoke. "Now that Chef and the interns are finished, this is your final challenge. Players from each team will have to enter the self made sets completed in the last challenge and answer trivia questions revolving around the 1978 classical musical, Grease..."
"And cue the unwanted twist..." Zoey adds.
Right on cue, Chris said exactly what that was. Two monitors lowered from the 'school front entrances' and showed a digital figure in distress. "An incorrect answer will result in a little 'surprise' happening, and trust me, some of those are real day-ruiners." Chris laughed, while the competitors were annoyed. "Whichever team has the most points at the end of the buzzer wins, and I shouldn't have to talk about what'll happen to the losers. Now, before we begin..."
A brief bell jingle was heard. Most of the first generation cast members groaned upon immediate realization. Chris was unbothered, he smiled.
"What's that mean?" Samey asked.
Duncan and Noah answered, "It means we have to sing." They both grumbled.
Chris was heard. "That's right guys, I probably should've brought this up in episode one, but who cares, this season, due to popular demand from the viewers at home, and because I like bugging you guys a lot, I'm bringing back the musical numbers from World Tour. Now before you say anything, here's how it'll work this season, I will decide when the musical numbers happen. Some episodes COULD have a song, others could not, maybe this'll probably be the first and last musical number this season. Now, let's hear it, I need two ready and willing volunteers for a duet."
"Pick me! Pick me! I wanna sing." The voice of Courtney was heard, but was ignored.
Chris kept looking around, ignoring her pleas to let her sing.
"Let me sing, I demand to be chosen!"
Chris kept looking, until. "Duncan and Alejandro, I'm glad your ready and willing to provide your loyal fans with the gift of your singing."
Naturally, the mentioned contestants both protested immediately.
"Esto es un atropello! I didn't volunteer to sing, I was silent."
Duncan was infuriated. "You can take your song and shove it, McLean!"
Courtney was mad because she was purposely ignored. "J wanted to sing, why not me?!"
Chris was annoyed with her constant whining. "Because, Courtney, it's not as fun for me if someone willingly wants to sing, irritation equals ratings, now, start singing or it's a one way trip out of the game for the both of you." He was pointing at Al and Duncan.
The Latin sighed in defeat, "We shall sing Chris,"
"Whatever, let's get this crap over with."
The music started playing and everyone that wasn't Duncan and Alejandro moved out of the way.
To the tune of Summer Nights, 1978:
Duncan:
Dude, I love summer, but this show ain't a blast
Alejandro:
Summer torture, Chris has no class
Duncan:
My ex-girls, crazily hate me
Everyone gave weird looks towards Duncan, even Chris and Chef, but they continued the song anyways.
Alejandro:
Heather is, as cute as can be
Both:
This show really needs to be drifting away
Maybe then we can sleep off the pain
In those summer nights
Bum-A-Bum-A-Bum-A-Uh
Alejandro:
Tell me more, tell me more
Duncan:
This show is mediocreeee
Alejandro:
Duncan tell us more, tell us more
Duncan:
Chris is middle aged with poresss
Everyone (Excluding Chris, Chef, Heather, Jo, Lightning, Scott and Amy):
Uh-huh, Uh-huh
Uh-huh, Uh-huh
Duncan:
It all started, at a crappy summer camp
With a host and cook giving me everyday crampssss
Alejandro:
Tell us more, tell us more
Duncan:
This show is mediocre
Alejandro:
Tell us more, tell us more
Everyone:
This show will forever be mediocreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Yeah!
The musical number was finished and Chris just stood there, mouth agape, almost in a paralytic like trance. Everyone was laughing at the misfortune of the host. On the other hand, Duncan stopped laughing at noticed something. Gwen was laughing.
Confessional (Duncan): "Yeah the singing part sucked, but sticking it to Chris never gets old," He then gained a look of uncertainty. "And Gwen...she laughed at my zingers towards Chris...that's got to be a good thing...right?"
Static*
As Chef patted him on the back in support, Chris regained his composure from the humiliating song, looking more angry than ever. "Now that our...musical number is done, we can start the challenge. It'll go one by one, a player from each team will enter the set at a time to answer a question about Grease. Just walk down the hall, you'll see a red button on a stand. Press it and your question will be given to you. I don't need to remind you about what'll happen if you guess wrong." Chris chuckled. "Anyways, let's get to it, who's going first?"
The competitors huddled up with their teams. Quickly, two players volunteered themselves.
"I'll do it." Samey quickly said. Her team looked at her strangely.
Confessional (Samey): "I don't want my team thinking I'm completely useless, the lying low strategy won't work forever."
Static*
"I'll take one for the team guys, extreme circumstances are meant for me," Tyler volunteered as well.
Chris stood before the two. "Alright we have our first two, Tyler and Samey, you may go to school, get it? Go to school." No one laughed, and this annoyed Chris. "Whatever, just get to it." Samey and Tyler entered their team's respective sets.
Tyler quickly ran down the 'hallway', failing to notice the lockers on the walls. His eyes fell upon the red button. He immediately slammed down on it. A monitor lowered from the ceiling and Chris appeared on it. It spoke.
"Greetings lucky winner or unlucky loser, in a few moments, you'll be given your question about the movie."
Tyler was about to ask a question, but was cut off by the recording. "If you have any questions, I cannot answer them because I am an automated recording. Anyways, your question is simple: How old was John Travolta when he first filmed Grease? You've got 30 seconds to answer, starting now, go."
The timer began counting down and Tyler's heart raced. He thought hard about it.
Confessional (Tyler): "Man, maybe I should've payed more attention to the movies Lindsay made us watch on date night."
Static*
With another ten seconds left, Tyler quickly answered. "Uhh, 24."
A buzzer went off, indicating that Tyler had incorrectly answered the question. The recording of Chris appeared. "Incorrect, he was 23 when the movie was filmed. So close, your punishment is...the grease gun!"
Suddenly, one of the lockers burst open and pointed a water gun in front of Tyler. Immediately, it fired an excessive amount of kitchen grease onto Tyler. "Aw come on dude! I was close, that's gotta mean something."
The Heroic Tigers saw the buzzer on the outside monitor and immediately knew Tyler had blown it and failed to get them a point. For further emphasis, they saw his face covered in kitchen grease as he stepped out of the gimmicked hallway.
Samey had pressed the red button and like Tyler, saw a monitor lower from the ceiling and an automated message of Chris played. "Greetings lucky winner or unlucky loser, in a few moments you'll receive your question about the movie. If you have any questions, I cannot answer them because I am an automated recording. Your question is simple: How old was Olivia Newton-John when she began filming for Grease? You have 30 seconds to answer this question, now go."
As the timer began counting down, Samey thought hard about it. She had remembered watching the movie countless times with her mother as a child and learning a few things about the actors outside of their fiction roles.
"Uh, 28 I Think."
Samey waited to be pelted with some sort of outrageous thing by Chris but instead, "...that is correct!"
Realizing that she was right, she felt excited and screamed internally. Yes, thanks mommy.
The Villainous Lions saw the green check mark on the monitor on the outside. Some of them were genuinely taken by surprise.
"She actually did it?" Heather asked, astounded as the twin walked out of the gimmicked hallway.
With the score 1-0, Lions, Leshawna went in for her team, with Jo doing the same for hers. Leshawna's question was to state the original location of the high school in the movie.
"...Honey, that's easy, Venice Blvd,"
The pre-recording of Chris played. "That is correct."
As Leshawna exited, her teammates saw the green check mark on the outside monitor indicating that they had gotten a point and the score was now tied, 1-1.
"Way to go Leshawna," She had received a high five from Gwen, Owen and Tyler.
Jo on the other hand had failed to snatch a point for her team. What she had received instead of a point, was a face full of bird feathers, which annoyed her greatly.
Some of her teammates snickered at her misfortune and in return received a glare from her.
Confessional (Jo): "How the heck am I supposed to know how much money some stupid geriatric dude made back in the 70s?" She coughed up a few small feathers. "I really hate McLean and his stupid show."
Static*
Owen and Noah stepped it up for their respective teams. Before Owen disappeared into his team's set, he called out to Noah. "Good luck Noah buddy,"
Noah turned over and at least acknowledged his presence of his friend, nodded and then headed inside to do the challenge.
"Owen, may I need to remind you that Noah isn't even on our team, we can't let our personal feelings hinder our game." The former turned over to see Courtney with her hands on her hips and with a look of uncertainty. "Just try and focus on the game, okay?"
The defeated Owen sighed and walked inside the gimmicked school hallway. Unknown to either one of them, Amy watched this with a evil smile. She a good plan for Owen down the line.
I've figured it out. Amy went on with watching the challenge go on, knowing exactly what to do later with Owen.
After Owen and Noah finished taking their turn, they had managed to each earn a point for their teams, making 2-2 and proving that the 'TV-Pros' part of their name wasn't a joke. Dawn and Scott had went inside for their teams.
"Your question is: What is the name of the dude that turned down the leading guy role of movie? You have 30 seconds, go."
Scott thought long and hard about the question. "Uhhh let's see here,"
"You have fifteen seconds left before time's up."
The timer got smaller and smaller, and Scott not knowing what to do spurred a random answer, which he had no idea was right or wrong. "I don't know, Henry! Henry!"
Surprisingly, "...that is correct, well done." Scott sighed with full relief.
Confessional (Scott): "Okay yeah, that was a total guess on my part, but Papi always did tell me that you don't get through life by waiting and wasting time, you just wing it and hope for the best."
Static*
Meanwhile with Dawn, like Scott, she had to, also scored a point for her team and was unharmed by any of the hidden surprises. The total score so far was now 3-3. Chris was enjoying the humiliation brought upon the competitors. Every time someone came out after an incorrect answer, he'd let out an occasional laugh with Chef. The next two people to go were Mike and of course, his girlfriend on the opposite team.
Once inside his team's hallway, he pressed the button and the monitor lowered again with a pre-recorded message from Chris. "...Your question is: What year was Grease released in? You have 30 seconds, go."
Mike was to focused on his inner guilt, that he hadn't even listened to the question. This season just sucks, seriously. He soon felt a cold and sticky substance all over himself as a result of failing to answer the question. What the heck is this cold goo? "Ew, what is this?"
The automated response of Chris spoke. "For failing to complete the question in 30 seconds or less, you get the cold jelly!"
"Gross," When Mike returned to his team, one particular person wasn't very happy, and her name was Courtney.
"What the heck happened in there?"
"Nothing." Mike responded, "Just didn't get it right, that's all," He gritted through his teeth. "Nothing to worry about?"
"I don't believe it, we were doing perfectly fine until you and your girlfriend came along, are you throwing challenges in her favor again?"
"What, no I wasn't! I'd never do something like that!"
"Yeah right, if we lose here, I'm gonna keep my previous promise of personally making sure you are eliminated,"
Mike just gulped. Zoey whom, was with her team saw this whole ordeal and wanted to say something to help out her boyfriend, but felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't, you'll just make it worse for him than it already is." It was Duncan. Zoey deep down wanted to ignore his warnings, but she knew inside, that he was right.
"Yeah, your right."
Later, it was Cody who was inside the gimmicked school hallway and trying to answer his question about the movie. He wasn't really knowing about Grease, but he was sure that he had probably seen it once or twice.
"Your question is: Where does Grease rank on the list of the highest cheddar making musical films, you have 30 seconds, go."
Cody had a confident grin. "That's easy dude, twenty sixth, right behind Sing Along Two: The Musical Coming."
"Correct!"
Confessional (Cody): "I'm apart of the Drama Brothers, music is our life, of course I'd know stuff about a musical, it's no big."
Static*
With the score now 4-3 in the favor of the Heroic Tigers, it was now Heather's turn, and she did not look happy. The sound of the Chris recording played when she slammed down on the button. "Your question is: Why was Frenchy named Frenchy? You have 30 seconds, go."
"Pathetic, it's because of her weird obsession of inhaling cigarettes."
"Correct."
Heather strutted out of the gimmicked school hallway like the diva that she was. The score was now tied at 4-4.
Over at the gimmicked hallway of the Heroic Tigers, Amy was trying her hardest to figure out what the answer was to her question. She thought everything about today's challenge was lame from the outfits to the actual challenge itself.
"Your question is: What is the name of the high school in the movie? Rydell, Ryders, Nothern or Southern? You have 30 seconds, now go."
"Uhhhh, Ryders?"
The pre-automated recording of Chris sounded off a buzzer. "Incorrect," then it laughed. "Only an idiot would get a question as simple as this wrong, your punishment is, The Paintball Gun!"
Right on cue, a controlled paintball gun burst out of one of the lockers and immediately opened fire upon Amy, who ran like her life depended upon it. Paint was all over her her. As she shot out of the door, Leshawna, Gwen, Courtney and even Samey laughed at her. Her entire look was ruined and covered in various different colors of paint.
Confessional (Amy): "Ugh, who do those losers think they are, I will ruin them all."
Static*
It was Emma's chance to get a crack at the challenge, and she looked determined and motived. She rushed in there and slammed down upon the red button. The monitor lowered and the automated message of Chris gave the law student her question.
"Your question is: Where were the two main characters located when the movie first started? You have thirty seconds, now go."
Emma wasn't bothered. "No need, that's easy, they were at the beach bidding each other farewell before they eventually found out they attended the same school together a few scenes later."
"Correct!"
Emma exited with a confident look. She high fived her sister and her boyfriend in the process.
A little while after Emma scored a point, Kitty did the same thing and scored another point.
"...The name of the dance that they shared together was called blue moon."
"Correct!"
The score was now 6-5, and it was anyone's game at this point.
Gwen had entered the gimmicked school hallway and immediately pressed the button. Like everyone else before her, the monitor appeared before her and Chris appeared. "Your question is: What class did Frenchy return to high school for in order to make her own cosmetics? You have 30 seconds to answer, now go."
Gwen was putting her mind into it as the timer counted down. It took her some time before she figured it out. "Chemistry, she returned to high school for chemistry, and it wasn't the first movie, it was the sequel that everyone tends to forget about."
"...Correct!"
The game was now tied up thanks to Gwen's knowledge on forgettable sequels to classic movies. She smiled proudly at herself.
Confessional (Gwen): "Everyone always forgets about those sequels that suck after the first one, that's how I figured it out, I've gotta say...well played Chris, well played."
Static*
Shortly after Gwen departed the set, Courtney raced in afterwards. She slammed down on the red button with full force and here came her question. "Your question will be: Who is the new dude in the sequel related to in the first movie? 30 seconds, go."
As the timer counted down, Courtney paced back and forth, hand on chin and all. She knew she didn't have a lot of time on her hands. The timer now read fifteen seconds were left. Without much time left, Courtney gave her final answer. "He's...the cousin of the girl protagonist."
"...Correct!"
"Yes!" Courtney shot her fist in the air as she departed from the set. As soon as she exited, a loud buzzer rung. The sound did two things, one, it ringed through everybody's ears, and two, it signaled that the game was finally over.
Chris appeared before both teams to let them in on who had won the challenge. "Are you guys ready to learn who won?" Judging by the looks on some of the competitors faces, he had assumed they were. "Okay good,"
"I know we won, obviously," Jo arrogantly stated.
Chris merely laughed at her like she had just said the dumbest thing in the world. "Actually Jo, that's where your dead wrong, because the Heroic Tigers are the winners!"
The former team cheered, and rightfully so as they had yet to have won an entire challenge. The Villainous Lions groaned in defeat.
"But how?" Noah and a few other Lions got up in Chris's face. "We were literally murdering that challenge,"
Chris explained. "Well yeah, you guys were, until,-" Chris rolled some footage taken during the challenge. It revealed Lightning on the screen.
"Your question is: What is the full name of the actress that played the main female character in the movie? You have 30 seconds, go."
"Uhhhh let's see, Sha-Yeah! The Lightning's got this! Oliver Newton-John!"
"...Incorrect!"
Sha-What?! I got that right dude, this is an outrage, Total Drama is out to make Lightning look bad!"
"Your punishment is, the leech gun!"
A leech gun burst out of one of the lockers and immediately opened fire on Lightning, nailing him in multiple places on his entire body. He fell down on the ground in pain and exhaustion as the leeches from the gun sucked the blood out of him.
Now most of the Villainous Lions looked more so pissed off as they glared at the footage. Chris chuckled lightly, "Yeah, that happened, anyways, Lions, i'll be seeing your butts tonight at the elimination ceremony for the first time, in the meantime, go get changed and cleaned up until then."
Later that night, Scott was still busy trying to find out where that invincibility statue was, hours after the challenges had concluded. So far, he hadn't found any luck in finding it. Come on, where is it? It's got to be here somewhere. Scott's search was soon to be interrupted.
"So dirt boy, after today, do you now see my point?"
He stopped searching and saw Jo, now in her regular clothing, staring at him with full force confidence. She had her hands on her hips, knowing full and well her plan was picking up the pace.
"Yeah your were right Jo, he's not much upstairs, should've listened to your suggestion earlier."
The jockette's smile widened even more, "Good, now am I in?" Her hand reached out.
"Your in." Scott returned the handshake.
"Good, so here's who we're gonna vote for..."
At the elimination ceremony, Chris had the usual plate of marshmallows in hand and the eight by ten photo of the person who was going home. "Today has truly be spectacular, and by spectacular I mean fun for me to watch, not so fun to partake in. Lions, what happened, I was almost certain that you guys were gonna go for the three nada sweep, I lost two hundred bucks to Chef in a side bet we had going on."
No one cared for the ignorant negligence of Chris during his speech.
"There's a few reasons you guys are here, mainly in the form of Jo and Lightning, neither of you could get a point in the trivia challenge, Lightning, you disappointed not only your team, but me as well, seriously bro, you had the easiest question in the world and missed the opportunity for a tiebreaker."
"It's a conspiracy," He shouted in defiance. "I never lose, Lightning doesn't miss, I always strike twice!"
Chris just ignored him. "Whatever, with that settled, the following players are safe...Duncan, Heather and Noah."
The three mentioned players caught the marshmallows hurled in their direction.
"Alejandro, Scott and Zoey..."
The three of them caught their marshmallows like the others. Chris had fewer of the campfire treats left.
"And finally, Samey, Emma and Kitty, you gals are safe as well..."
The twin and the sisters caught theirs as well, and that left only one marshmallow left for two players. Lightning and Jo. Naturally, the prideful players in the two of them had confident and unbothered looks. Chris took notice of this. "You two feeling confident? Good, the last marshmallow of the night goes to..."

"Jo, your safe, Lightning looks like your the one going home tonight!" Chris revealed the photo of Lightning with a red X across it.
"Sha-What?!" The jock was absolutely blown away by his former teammates. Then he looked towards his former alliance members, Scott and Alejandro, the latter of whom looked confused. "You traitors, how dare you vote off the Lightning!"
"Bye-bye jock strap, pleasure doing business with you." Jo laughed hysterically at her rival's humiliation. Soon Chef came by and forcibly picked up Lightning and took him to the dock, then finally tossed him inside the Hurl Of Shame.
Chris appeared before the eliminated Lightning. "Lightning, since you made it to the finale of Revenge Of The Island, and you already took the Flush Of Shame before, I've decided that you should take the Hurl Of Shame instead! Any last words?"
"Sha-Yeah, first off, Jo stinks, and so does this team, they'll fail witho,-" Chris pulled the leaver and in mid-sentence, Lightning was hurled away from the island, soaring into the night. Screams echoed until they were silenced completely. "These people should really be much faster with their parting words." He chuckled under his breath. "Another competitor bites the dust, twenty players are left, but for how long? Find out next time, here, only on, Total...Drama...Nostalgia!"

A/N: Hiya, it's GoatedReads again and we're through yet another chapter. Stayed up VERY LATE at night to complete the chapter. We're four chapters into TDN and so far I can say, I like the Rewrite much better than the original one I wrote in 2021, (Which is being marked incomplete/discontinued, and will probably be taken down at a later point in time). So far so good, and yeah, Lightning's gone, in all honesty, I had intentions on him being a Pre-Merge elimination anyways, and I thought this was the best why to go about it, Lightning's thick airhead got the better of him and his own alliance betrayed him. I saw that as something that'd actually happen on the show.
Especially with the characters that partook in the betrayal as well.
My favorite parts to write in this chapter was easily the musical number, in fact, if you all must know, I got the idea for this chapter while I was actually watching the classic musical Grease not to long ago, so I thought, why not adapt the movie Into a challenge theme, And also pay a little homage to the late great, beautiful Olivia Newton John, god bless her soul :) I'm happy with the way it turned out overall, hope you all are to. Now for some quick fun questions for you guys:
1: Who's your favorite character in Total Drama Nostalgia thus far?
2: Are you all ready for Scream VI? I sure am
3: Guess the next chapter's challenge (or challenges)?
Now, let's respond to some reviews from the last chapter.
gman5846: No hate over here, I'm not particularly fond of Sierra as a character myself, but she did have her good moments on the show.
leo45: We'll just have to wait and see, Amy's been on an evil mission since Pahkitew Island concluded, who knows what's in store for in the future, great review btw.
Adeycoola1234: So far it's looking good, Duncan's been slowly warming up, it'll take a lot more time, but progress is being made.
With the reviews responded to, in the meantime, have fun, stay safe, and don't forget, be good people ;)
