Lincoln Loud was very excited. This was because today he would finally be able to get married. As he was the sixth of the Loud children to be born, he had to wait until all his older sisters – Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, and Lynn Jr. – were married. And since there was a two-year age gap between Lynn Jr. and Lincoln, this meant that he had to wait two years until he could get married.

The original agreement between the Loud kids was that all of them would get married in the order from oldest to youngest. Given that Lori was the first to marry and did so at age 23, the Loud kids all added to the agreement that each one must wait until they turned 23 to marry the ones they loved.

And today, Lincoln was marrying Ronnie Anne Santiago, who he first met at age 11. They didn't get off to the best start, as Ronnie Anne frequently bullied Lincoln early on. His sisters claimed this was evidence she loved him. Him making efforts to avoid Ronnie Anne almost destroyed the relationship between Lincoln's older sister Lori and Ronnie Anne's older brother Bobby.

But eventually, Lincoln formed a close friendship with Ronnie Anne, which stayed strong even as the Santiagos moved to Great Lakes City to live with relatives that had the surname Casagrande.

For four years, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne claimed they were just friends. But no one in their lives believed them. Especially not Bobby or Lori, who thought the idea of their siblings who were six years their juniors dating was cute.

Finally, Ronnie Anne had her quinceañera at age 15, and the Loud family was among the invitees. It was at the quinceañera that Lincoln and Ronnie Anne publicly admitted their feelings for each other, finally admitting they were more than just friends, which drew applause from everyone at the quinceañera.

Having officially dated for 8 years, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne were finally going to become husband and wife. Ronnie Anne's favorite of Lincoln's sisters surprisingly wasn't Lori, who was Bobby's wife, but rather, Lynn Jr., who was a tomboy like her. The two became friends after Lynn Jr. won tickets to see a Lions road game at the team in Great Lakes City, and Lincoln suggested she hang out with Ronnie Anne while there.

The suggestion paid off, and Ronnie Anne and Lynn Jr. became good friends, with the former even picking up a number of habits from the latter, especially being superstitious. This in turn served to strengthen Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's own bond.

Everyone from previous Loud sibling weddings was in attendance except for Mick Swagger. His appearance at Luna and Sam's wedding was a one-time deal to relieve the Moon Goats from having to be the musical entertainment, as Luna and Sam were members of that band. The Moon Goats also skipped being the musical entertainment at Benny and Luan's wedding because it was a Jewish wedding, opting to allow traditional Jewish music instead.

This time, the Moon Goats would be back to being the musical entertainment. By this time, they had become international superstars, but they did not ask for an insane fee for performing at the wedding because Lincoln and Luna were family.

After not making food for Benny and Luan's wedding, Lynn Sr. and Rosa returned to being the caterers for Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's wedding, two years after doing so for Lynn Jr.'s wedding. And once again, Lynn Sr. was expected to have an extreme emotional breakdown.

By this time, the friend circles of Lincoln and Ronnie Anne from their respective schools had become one, with Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's respective BFFs Clyde McBride and Sid Chang set to get married themselves the following month. The month after that, two more of Lincoln's friends, Liam Hunnicutt and Stella Zhau, were also to get married.

The priest who wed Lori, Leni, Luna and Lynn Jr. to their spouses would now have the honor of wedding Lincoln and Ronnie Anne together.

The priest began to speak. "As is custom for members of the Loud family and their spouses, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne have written their own vows."

Lincoln began to speak first. "The past 12 years of my life have been the best years of my life thus far. In less than a year, we went from having an antagonistic relationship to being good friends, and four years after that, we became more than just friends, and officially a couple. Being the second one in my family to marry a member of your family is my greatest pleasure. So now we have the rest of our lives to spend together. Because I, Lincoln Albert Loud, take you, Ronalda Anne Santiago, to be my lawfully-wedded wife."

Ronnie Anne spoke next. "Our families have always had the strongest of bonds. Seeing our oldest siblings marry one another made us even more excited to tie the knot one day. Before we officially became a couple, our families and friends had always suspected we were more than just friends. That day at my quinceañera was the greatest day of my life before today. Today now becomes the greatest day of my life. It is today that I, Ronalda Anne Santiago, take you, Lincoln Albert Loud, to be my lawfully-wedded husband."

The priest said, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Lincoln and Ronnie Anne had kissed each other many times before, but this was the first time they had kissed as husband and wife. From this day forward, Lincoln's bride would go by Ronnie Anne Loud, making Ronnie Anne only the second person to marry a Loud kid and take the Loud name. The former Sam Sharp agreed to do so when marrying Luna so that Lincoln wouldn't be alone in having the Loud name in marriage.

As was expected, Lynn Sr. had his extreme emotional breakdown. Six of his kids were now married. Before he knew it, all 11 of them would be married.

The Moon Goats performed as other people at the wedding danced, while enjoying delicious food from Lynn Sr. and Rosa.

Among the classic rock love songs that the Moon Goats performed, the one that symbolized the relationship between Lincoln and Ronnie Anne the most was "Can't Fight This Feeling" by REO Speedwagon. It was a song about how a friendship evolved into a romance. That's exactly what Lincoln and Ronnie Anne went through.

Five more Loud kids – Lucy, now 20, Lana and Lola, both now 18, Lisa, now 16, and Lily, now 14 – had yet to get married. Lucy, Lana, and Lola were now all attending the University of Michigan, the same college as all their older siblings except Lori. Lucy and Lana's respective boyfriends, Rocky Spokes and Carl Casagrande, were attending UM with them. None of them were doing sports like Lynn Jr. did. Meanwhile Lily was a freshman at Royal Woods High School, and Lisa, who started kindergarten at only age 4, was now a senior at Royal Woods High School.

There were still two more weddings this summer of significance to the Loud family yet to occur before the remaining Loud kids all got married. In July, Lincoln's best friend, Clyde McBride, was set to marry Ronnie Anne's best friend, Sid Chang. The two had met at Bobby and Lori's wedding and immediately felt a connection, much to the excitement of Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's respective friend circles.

Then in August, Liam Hunnicutt and Stella Zhau, both originally just friends of Lincoln, would themselves get married. When Stella first met the male members of Lincoln's friend circle, each of them speculated Stella wanted to date one of them. But at the time, Stella said she just wanted to be friends. But in their sophomore year of high school, or 10th grade, Liam and Stella began dating. After seven years of being boyfriend and girlfriend, Liam and Stella were set to get married.
