To Whomever it May Concern,
To all my Letter Writers, my Musicians, my Soul Searchers, my Ship Sailors, my Storm Dancers, and all of my amazing, beautiful readers:
It has been a long journey, a long tale that I've woven (or more typed on my laptop) and now it's done. Who would have thought it would be this long, this deep, this… indescribable? "Not I!" Said the authoress as she held her pen to scrawl this letter (yes it is hand written and then typed). And I say "Not I" with all sincerity because I did not believe myself to be so good a writer as you all say I am.
Heart by Heart began as a test, a test to see if I was a good writer and also to see if I could actually write a novel length book. Actually I was planning on making this just a short story, maybe 20000 words or so but now it has grown so much bigger than that, reaching almost 150,000 words. Who would have guessed? And through this whole story you have laughed with me, cried with me, complained with me, and all together been my friends and you have become my family on here. And I don't want it to end. But all good things must come to an end as we all know. And it was already becoming so long that it was getting out of hand. So it had to end while it was still good. Stop while you're ahead as people say.
So this is a short letter to you, my own letter to you about how amazing you are. About how you should never give up and how you should never stop trying. And please, please, no matter what you do, never forget this story. Never forget Heart by Heart and what it did to you, what memories it brought to you.

Words for the Wise: The ending is always the best. After all we never "skip" to the beginning in a book. We always skip to the end. And the endings bring our emotions to light. Endings are beautiful.
