Hey, it's been a while. I know that it has been a long time since I've either my laptop or this story, and I understand that some of you may be angry because I was just trying to relax. Well guess what, my break from this Fan Fiction is finally over! I am going to be making chapters for everyone here to read!

I also want to tell you how long this story is going to be, or how long I want to make this Fan Fiction anyway. I honestly want to end this story by the time we reach chapter 100, and that the story is most definitely going to exceed 1 million words by the time we reach the ending. I know that may sound long, but I'll try to make those chapters the best that they can possibly be! Thank you for sticking by this whole time!

Have a Happy Halloween!

Disclaimer: I do not, have not, or ever will own Pokémon. All right's go to they're respective owners. I recommend watching/playing Pokémon in general.

Chapter 11:

A Fire Type, Sister Argument, And A Boy Named Damian

Opening (If you really want to): Ready, Steady, Go! (From Fullmetal Alchemist, cover by AmaLee)

It had been a full day since our group had not only had to say goodbye to Melanie, but also Butterfree as well. It was quite clear that everyone still hasn't fully recovered from the whole thing, and both Brock and Ryan were the perfect example of this. Both of the boys were easily the most affected by this, and it wasn't that hard to see why. Luckily, they had some hope for the future. Ryan had been able to train and build a bond with his new Grass type, and Brock still had the phone number that Melanie had given him. Even though they still haven't fully gone past all of that, they at least had something to look forward to.

During this time, Ryan had fought against Brock for another chance to get the Boulder Badge. Unlike every other time that they had battled each other, Ryan had actually won against Brock! Bulbasaur was actually quite strong for only being level 14, and she was even able to bring down Brock's newly obtained Graveler with her Vine Whip. Ryan now had his very first badge, and it only took a single Pokémon to do it. Ryan then declared that he wasn't immediately going to battle Misty for the Cascade Badge, not until he had reached level 20 with his new Pokémon. A choice that everyone the group had respected.

Everyone was now by a large rock in the middle of the forest, waiting to figure out where they were. Brock has told them that a Pokémon Center should be down the path, a place that the former Gym Leader was especially looking forward to. However, the fifteen year was struggling to figure out their location on the map. So everyone had taken this time too relax, and for Ash to train up his Wartortle. The Water type was now gathering up energy for his Ice Beam attack, something that Misty had decided to help with.

"Wartortle!" The Water type was done charging up the ball of energy in his hand's, releasing the energy as quickly as he could as sweat when down his face. The Ice type attack was able to reach it's target in only one second, it's target was a small tree in front of the Pokémon attack hit the tree with full force.

Ice began to quickly cover up the small tree, surrounding the plant very quickly. It only took about ten seconds before the Ice type attack had completely engulfed the tree, Ash began to quickly clap his hands, happy by his Pokémon's power.

"That was pretty good, Wartortle." Misty commented with a smile. "But you shoot release your Ice Beam's more quickly next time. The last thing you should do is give your opponent the advantage in a fight."

"Wartortle." The Pokémon responded with a nod and a smile, trying to show that it wasn't even slightly tired after all of these attacks.

"Any luck so far, Brock?" Ryan asked as he looked up at the sky, seeing that rain was most likely going to hit their area soon.

"I'm working on it." Brock said with some force. Sakura was currently reading one of her books as she saw the fifteen struggle to figure out a solution, and this made the girl stand up as she put her book away.

Sakura sat down right beside Brock, something the former Gym Leader wasn't expecting. "Let me take a look at it."

"I guess you can try." Brock gave the map over to Sakura as his eyes faced the ground, his mind focusing on Melanie. Sakura took a quick look at the map and was able to quickly figure out what the problem was. The pink haired girl took a red marker from her bag and began to write stuff down on the map.

"Since we are currently in this location, that means the path towards Vermillion would be in the west." Sakura began to explain as she circled a spot on the map, her finger pointing to a direction away from them. "We should find a path in that direction, and the Pokémon Center should be further down that specific path."

Brock was quite shocked by how quickly Sakura was able to figure out where they were. "How did you know all of that?"

"I took a Cartography class my first year at Pokémon Tech." Sakura answered in a very bored way. "It was definitely boring, but it turns out that it had use after all."

"Are we now ready to leave?" Ash questioned as he put his backpack back on, Wartortle resting on his shoulder.

"It sure seems that way now." Brock responded with a smile.

"Then let's go!" Misty said in a excited way, happy about leaving this area that they have been in for a while. Since the girl was looking behind her, she didn't notice the huge object that was right in front of her.

"Misty wait!" Ash tried to stop the girl, but Misty had accidently walked right into the object.

It turns out that the object was a large rock that was in the middle of the forest. The rock itself seemed to be about 8 feet tall and was quite imposing to the group. Ash quickly ran over to Misty, seeing if his friend was accidently harmed.

"Are you okay?" Ash asked in deep concern as he walked up, everyone right besides them.

"Wartortle?" The Water type also asked his friend.

"I think I'm fine." Misty answered as he began to fell if there was any nosebleed or bumps on her face.

"How did we not see this before?" Ryan questioned with folded arms.

Sakura just shrugged after seeing the rock. "Let's just walk around it."

"Char."

All of a sudden, a noise had come from the top of the large rock. Everyone had heard this little voice and began to look up so that they could see what it was. Sakura had decided to take a few steps back to see the top of the rock, something that everyone else did as well. On the rock wasn't a person or some common Pokémon that you could find anywhere in this Region.

It was actually a Charmander that was yawning.

"A Charmander?" Ryan asked in surprise.

"Char. Char." The Pokémon said as it looked down at the group of Trainer's.

"It's probably best that Green isn't here right now." Ash thought to himself as he saw the little Fire type laying on the large rock in front of them. "Do you think it belongs to someone?"

"A Charmander's natural habitat is Cinnabar Island, and I doubt this specific Charmander came all the way here just to sit on a rock." Sakura answered in her usual emotionless way. "I think the Pokémon is just waiting patiently for it's Trainer."

"Then let's just leave the Charmander alone then." Brock suggested as he pulled out his map. "The Trainer is bound to come at one point."

"I don't think we should, Brock." Ash responded in concern as he pointed at the Fire type. "Look at it's tail."

Every Charmander had a fire at the end of their tail, but this one was much smaller then it really should be. Brock had also noticed that the Charmander had dirt all over it, the Pokémon would be luck to even stand up straight.

"It doesn't even look like it could fight right now." Ryan commented as he still had his arms folded. "We should at least keep it safe from the rain that is going to happen soon."

"Then I guess I have to capture it." Ash proudly declared as he took out a Great Ball from his pocket, ready to throw the ball at the weak Fire type. Suddenly, someone grabbed his hand and stopped the eleven year old from throwing the ball. ash was surprised to see that Misty was the one who stopped him.

"Sorry, but that isn't your Pokémon to capture." Misty said in a serious way, her own Great Ball in her hand.

"What do you mean that this isn't my Pokémon to capture?" The eleven year old questioned as he removed Misty's arm from him.

"Both you and Ryan just caught new Pokémon very recently, while I only have two Pokémon in my whole team." Misty answered with a smile, knowing that she was completely right. "And you wouldn't dare defy your own teacher, would you?"

"You act like I'm scared." Ash said in a somewhat serious way as he took a step forward, the two kids only one foot away from each other.

Before this argument could escalate any more, there was a sound that made everyone turn there heads. Both Ash and Misty looked at the top of the rock to see what had happened, and their eyes widened after seeing no Pokémon up there. There was no longer a Charmander on the rock anymore, but instead a glowing Great Ball.

It turns out that Sakura had thrown her own Great Ball during the argument, resulting in the Charmander being stuck within the blue ball. The ball began to shake as it button glowed red, Sakura looking at the situation in a bored way. Everyone watched as the ball shake 5 times and stood still, now no longer glowing as well.

The Charmander had been caught by Sakura.

"You idiots took too long." Sakura told them as she climbed up to get the Great Ball on top of the rock. "Besides, I only have one Pokémon in my team right now."

"She really just did that." Ryan thought to himself as he watched the pink haired girl climb with very little issue. All of a sudden, the boy felt a drop of something fall upon his hair. Ryan moved his hand to his head so that he could see what it was. His eyes saw that it water that had landed on him, and his mind finally realized what was happening.

Rain was now upon this area.

"We need to leave now, the Charmander is now safely with us." Brock announced to the other 5 members of the group, the fifteen year old also knowing that rain had reached this part of the Region. Ryan quickly followed the former Gym Leader, but both Ash and Misty stopped Sakura from going any furter. They wanted to talk about what happened.

"Did you really just have to go do that?" Misty asked the blank face girl.

Sakura just gave a shrug. "Does it really matter who captures it?"

"You could of at least given us a warning." Ash responded.

"Wartortle." The Pokémon said as well from the back of Ash Ketchum.

"Well, neither of you can always be the first for everything." Sakura answered, turning her back from the pair. "Come on, don't we have a Pokémon to bring to Nurse Joy."

"I think that girl enjoys messing with us." Misty thought to herself as she, along with the rest of the team, began to finally head to the Pokémon Center that was around this area.

Just as the drops of rain began to slowly become more rapid.

It only took the group 5 minutes to reach the Pokémon Center, and also finding the path once again. The rain had taken full effect outside of the building, and both Ash and Ryan's jacket had suffered from the falling water. They all eventually made there so that their Pokémon could rest, but for Charmander to finally get better. Wartortle was currently taking a long nap with the other Pokémon, and the Nurse Joy there had made everyone in the group wait in the lobby. Even though this place was small, it was a very cozy place to in. There was not only a big fire place inside, but there was also a soup stand for anyone who was hungry.

Now Ryan, Ash, and Sakura were sitting at a table right by the large window. Sakura was just staring aimlessly at the rain going on outside, Ryan was drinking some water, and Ash was now just looking down in thought. Misty came up to the table, a silver tray that hold bowls of sup in her hands.

"Here some nice, hot soup." Misty said in a happy way as she placed the bowls in front of everyone.

"Thank you, Misty." Ryan replied in a grateful way as he began to have some soup.

Misty had taken a seat and was ready to enjoy the soup here, but then realized that someone is missing. "Where's Brock?"

"He's calling Melanie over there." The eleven year old answered as he pointed to the computer that the former Gym Leader was at. Brock was listening to every last word that Melanie was saying, Brock's face was literally 2 inches away from the screen of the computer. It was obvious that Brock had missed Melanie in the full day that that they have been apart from each other.

"Someone missed their girlfriend." Misty commented after she saw what Brock was doing, this sentence got a little chuckle from Ash and Ryan.

"Misty, do you think it was the right choice to take Charmander with us?" Ryan asked the girl in a curious way.

Misty began to think, trying to figure out a good answer. "While it may not have been the best choice to remove the Pokémon from it's spot, we at least know it's safe. And even it's Trainer were to come back for it, how do we know if they were going to appear before the rain came down."

"Ryan nodded after hearing this. "I guess your right."

Suddenly, the group turned their heads after hearing some loud laughter come from the coaches near the fire place. A group of 3 boy were currently paying attention to something on the table, and praising a boy that was sitting on the coach.

On the coach was a twelve year old boy that a very stylized blue hair, and his outfit told you everything about him. He had on black pants with some boots, and a brown belt around his waist. He had on a brown vest underneath a pink button up shirt, and red bandana around his neck. Finally, some sunglasses on his head with a cocky expression all over his face.

"That's quite an impressive collection you got there, Damian!" One of the boys said in amazement, looking down at the 6 Poke Balls on the table.

"What can I say?" Damian asked in a very brash way. "I'm just that good."

"Hey didn't you have a Charmander on your team?" A different boy asked in curiosity. Everyone at Ash's table froze after hearing that, even Sakura stopped looking out the window to see what was going on.

"I did, but that thing was to weak to even battle properly." Damian responded like it was nothing. "I kept trying to get rid of that little twerp, but it just kept coming back to me no matter how far I went. But finally, I was able to get rid of that thing once and for all."

Ash began to become angry after hearing that. "He's the Trainer that abandoned Charmander."

"Let's not jump to any conclusions." Ryan tried to calm down the group so that they wouldn't get into any trouble, but the next sentence that came out of Damian's mouth only confirmed their suspicions.

"So, how did I get rid of that pathetic thing?" Damian asked the group in a cocky way. "I just left the Charmander on some rock in the woods, promising that I'd come back for him!"

"Never mind. He's the one who left Charmander behind." Ryan said after hearing those words.

It was Ash or Misty to stand up first, it was actually Sakura that stood up after hearing that. Sakura calmly walked away from the group to walk up to Damian, something that everyone in the group stopped moving to watch. Sakura walked up to the younger boy in a very relaxed way, and Damian saw the twelve year right next to him.

"What do you want?" Damian asked Sakura in an annoyed way.

Everything after that sentence happened very quickly.

Sakura slapped the blue haired boy across the face, something that instantly left an imprint on the Damian's face. Sakura quickly followed this up by grabbing his pink shirt and slamming him onto the ground, an action that the girl did with ease. Damian saw that Sakura was right above him on the ground, the girl's eyes only showed the emotion of anger.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

Her loud question was heard by everyone in that room, and made everyone stopped what they were doing. Brock, already don with Melanie's call, saw that Sakura was actually the one who did this. Nurse Joy looked up from her paperwork to see what was going on, and neither Ash or Damian's group had any idea what to say.

Damian began to growl at the girl. "Why do you care about what I do, huh?! It's not my fault that Charmander was too weak!"

Sakura stood up to glare at the friend's of Damian, who became scared after seeing Sakura looking at them. "Do you really want this guy to be your friend? This disgusting excuse for a Trainer who just leaves his Pokémon behind without even trying to care?" These two questions made all three of the boys begin to think, wondering if being with Damian was actually a good idea.

Damian stood up to give a downright hatful stare at the girl wearing glasses. "You dare defy me?!" Damian launched his fist to hit the girl's face.

Everyone saw Damian throwing the punch at Sakura and were shocked, especially Ash's group. However, Sakura didn't even seem that fazed by the incoming punch. Just as Damian was about to hit her, she quickly took a step sideways to completely avoid the attack. Just as Damian was about to fall over from the attack, something had grabbed both of his arm and something was now on his back.

Now Sakura had not only placed her foot on the back of Damian, but had also grabbed both of his arms with her hand. People were shocked by how quick Sakura was, even Ash's group was wondering if this was even Sakura or not. Sakura began to pull on the arms of the helpless Damian. The blue haired boy let out a small scream, sweat forming on his face.

"You know, I could easily break your arm right here and now." Sakura told him in a very merciless way as she had a strong grip on both of Damian's arms, sweat now pouring on the boy's face. "And there would be nothing you could do about it."

Damian was now downright scared for his life after hearing that, a tear going down his face. Literally everyone was stunned by how brutal Sakura truly was, even Ash was now wondering if this was how Sakura was really like underneath her usually calm demeanor. Sakura then let go of Damian's arm, the boy quickly getting away from the girl in panic.

"Leave this place, or you'll regret it." There was only pure distaste in that sentence.

"Crazy bitch!" Damian furiously thought to himself as he walked away with fear in his eyes, quickly grabbing his Poke Balls from the table. Damian was breathing rapidly as he walked towards the front door, keeping his eyes glued on Sakura. Damian gave off one last glare as he was closing the front door, only pure hatred was all over his once cocky face.

Damian was now gone from the Pokémon Center.

Sakura let out a deep sigh after all that, now seeing that everyone was looking at her like she had grown a second head. "Why are you people paying attention to me? Am I not allowed to just stand here?" Everyone, besides Ash's group, looked away from the girl so that they wouldn't get hurt. Sakura quietly walked over to her table and took a seat, seeing that everyone was looking at her. "What?"

"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Ash instantly asked his friend in a loud way. "Where did that come from?"

"Even a girl like me has emotions." Sakura answered in her usual stoic way, picking the spoon next to her.

"I know that you were angry at that kid, but did you have to threaten him like that?" Ryan retaliated as his eyes focused on Sakura, Brock now sitting down at the table.

"He made a terrible mistake, and someone had to teach him a lesson." Sakura said in a bored way as she began to drink the soup in front of her "Don't worry, I won't use that kind force on you."

"I wonder how long that is going to last." Brock thought to himself as a sweat drop went down his face.

"Excuse me."

Everyone turned to see that someone was standing by their table. He appeared to be about ten years old and had on a simple outfit of jeans and a red shirt. A smile on his face, but he was clearly not trying to make eye contact with Sakura.

"Are you one of Damian's friend's?" Misty asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I am. Or rather, I was his friend." The boy answered in a surprisingly kind way. "After what that pink haired girl told me and my friend's, were no longer going to be friend's with Damian."

"I would have done the same thing." Brock commented in a sort of proud way.

"The three of us knew that he had very little respect for us or his Pokémon, but I didn't think he would be okay with just abandoning his own teammate like that." The boy explained to the group. "I have no idea why he acts like that, but it's probably because of what happened during the war."

Both Ash and Sakura froze after hearing that, but no one seemed to notice. Everyone was now interested in what this boy had to say. "Are you talking about the Kanto War?" Ryan asked in a curious way.

"Of course I am. If he was telling the truth, then he apparently lose his parents in it." The boy said in a somewhat sad way. "I guess that is why he acted the way he did. I guess anyone would be like that if they didn't have someone to guide him for his entire life."

"Now I kind of feel bad. What do you think, Ash?" No answer came from the elven year old, confusing Ryan. "Ash?"

Everyone was shocked at the face that Ash had now. Ash's breathing was now very rapid and uneven, sweat now falling down his face, and his eyes were now very widened and frozen in fear. Gone was the once happy expression on the boy's face, there was only emotional instability on his face. Misty put his hand on Ash's hand, felling the boy's very shaky arm. "Ash! Are you okay?"

"I'm fine!" Ash quick assured his friend before standing up, a forced smile on his face. "I just need to go the bathroom really quick."

Misty looked at her best friend in a very skeptical way, watching as he disappeared behind the door to the bathroom. "What was that about?" Both Brock and Ryan just gave a shrug as a answer. Sakura still looked a bit distressed, but she was able to hide her emotions so that no one could instantly notice. Misty was now concerned about Ash, wondering what was going in his mind.

"I'll leave you alone." The boy said before walking away from the group, Brock giving a small wave goodbye. Misty stood after watching the guy leave.

"I need to go do something." Before Misty could leave the group, Ryan had gently touched her shoulder.

"Would mind if I joined you?" Ryan asked the orange haired girl

Misty just gave a shrug. "It's not going to be anything that special."

Brock watched as the two younger members left the table, only leaving him and Sakura behind. "So, do you like rain?" The former Gym Leader asked as he saw the twelve year old look out the window.

"I don't do small talk." Sakura instantly responded, removing any possibility for a good conversation.

Misty was now currently sitting at the computer in this Pokémon Center, Ryan right beside her as bend down to look at what the girl was doing. "Why are you going into your PC."

"Well, I've realized that I'm basically the second weakest Trainer out of the group." Misty began to explain as she opened up one of her boxes on the PC. "And how can I be a good teacher when my student has more Pokémon than I do?"

"Wait, you have other Pokémon besides the two that you have?" Ryan asked in mild surprise.

"I do. It my box there in not only a Magikarp, but also a Seel as well." Misty said before clicking a button that was shaped like a Poke Ball on the keyboard.

A bright light appeared for a brief moment on a container device, a Poke Ball now in spot where the light once was. Misty grabbed the Poke Ball in an excited way, happy to finally hold Seal after so long. Another light quickly appeared and was replaced with a different Poke Ball, The ten year old quickly took this one as well. Misty suddenly took a Poke Ball out of her pocket and placed it into the device, an action that made Ryan gasp a little.

"You really don't want Goldeen anymore?" Misty just gave a small, somewhat sad at the question.

"I really did want to keep her on the team, but then I checked her stats with Ash's Pokédex. Goldeen's evolve at level 33, mine isn't even level 20 at this point." Misty placed the ball into the container, disappearing along with the light. "But don't worry, she'll be safe back in Cerulean."

"It's a good thing that your Goldeen at least is strong enough to hold it's own." Ryan said as he looked down at the ground in some embarrassment. "I wish my Paras was as strong as your Pokémon."

"Do you think Paras is weak?" Misty asked with a raised eyebrow.

"You've seen the fights that I've had with Brock, Paras couldn't even put his Rock types to sleep." Ryan told her before letting out a sigh. "But I can't just get leave him out in the woods, I could never do that to one of my own Pokémon!"

Misty felt a bit bad for her friend, Ryan just wanted to be strong as well. Even though she was the one helping Ash with his journey, she still wanted to help with anything that the group had. All of a sudden, an idea came to her mind.

"You known, I could help you get another Pokémon of your own when we reach Vermillion." Misty proposed with a smile, something that made Ryan look up at her. "You could use a Water Pokémon of your own, and you'll finally have a counter to those annoying Fire types."

"You would really help me?" Ryan asked with a now hopeful smile.

"We are friend's, aren't we?" Misty asked with a smile still on her face. "And when we do get you a new Pokémon for your team, then we can simply sent Paras to Cerulean with everyone else." The two then shake hands with each other, happy that they could make a deal like this.

"What did I miss?" Ash asked as he walked up to the pair, now looking like himself again.

"Don't worry, I just decided to help him with something." Misty simply explained as they were now ready to be with two other members of their group.

Before the group could leave, the computer showed a message that someone was calling the device. The three young kids looked at the now ringing computer with surprise, watching as the message kept telling that they had a phone call. Ash was going to be the one to investigate this, but Misty had stopped him so that she could pick up the phone. As soon Misty took the phone out, the screen became a bright black.

"Hello?" Misty instantly asked after putting the phone to her ear.

"Misty, is that you?" A very familiar voice questioned over the phone, a voice that made Misty's eyes widened.

"DAISY?!"

The screen shifted into a video camera to show the person on the other side of the line. On the screen was a beautiful blonded haired girl that now wore normal cloths, and was much older than any of three kids that she was looking at on the computer.

It was Daisy herself.

"What? No hello for your sister?" Daisy asked with some fake sadness.

"Why did you call me?" Misty quickly demanded from her sister, sitting back down at the computer.

Daisy just gave a small scoff at this question. "I'm glad to see that your as rude as ever, you didn't even ask where your other sisters were." Daisy pointed out with a sly smile. "So, have you been enjoying your time away from your home?"

"Sorry that I haven't talk to you in a while, but I have a life of my own." Misty responded with some seriousness.

"Oh yeah, your traveling with that black haired kid. The same one who beat you." Daisy responded with a smile still on her face.

"I've gotten stronger since I've seen you!" Misty finally said out loud in growing anger. "It's not my fault that you can't see that!"

"And it's not my fault you aren't as beautiful as the three of us." Daisy retaliated in a very factual way. "And stop looking so angry, it's somehow makes you look worse."

Misty was very obviously angry at this point, but Ash was also becoming mad as well. The eleven year old just couldn't help but become furious at the way she was still treating her sister, it was clear that she hasn't changed at all. Ash just had to intervene, he didn't care if this was between family.

And what came next was something that no one would have predicted.

"HEY!" Ash finally said in anger as he pointed at Daisy in anger, stopping the conversation between the sisters. "Shut the fuck up!"

Both Ryan and Misty were completely surprised that Ash would ever say that, Daisy was downright in shock. Ash realized what he had just said to Daisy, the sibling of his own teacher! Ash began to slowly walk away from them in complete embarrassment. The eleven year then ran towards the door, letting it close behind him.

Misty still looking at him with surprise.

Ash was sitting at the bench outside underneath the roof, a regretful frown as he looked down at the ground. The boy still had no idea why he just said that to one of the gym leaders of Kanto, was he really that angry with how Daisy treated her own sister? But one thing was clear, and that Misty probably hates him now. The rain was still pouring down outside.

"I just messed everything up." Ash thought to himself in a dreadful way as he covered his face with both of his hands.

Suddenly, the door that led outside opened, and of course it had to be Misty. Ash kept his head low as the girl silently walked up to him, a unreadable expression on her face. She sat down right next to Ash, keeping her eyes on him. Misty wasn't sure how to begin.

"Ash, I know that friends are meant to help each other no matter what." Misty began, keeping her eyes on the boy. "But this is my conflict, not yours or anyone else's in the group."

"I know that I was wrong, but I could not just stand there while your sister mocked you like that!" Ash told her in a somewhat serious way, Misty just gave a smile in response.

"I'm glad that you care, but I want to handle this by myself." Misty told Ash in the most kindest way she could think of at that moment. "Just promise me that you won't do something like that again."

Ash wanted to say something else, but he knew that Misty was right at the end of the day. This was not his family that he should be worrying about, and he knew that saying something like that was never good. Even though he wanted to help his teacher, this was not the place to do it.

"Alright. I'll never interfere between you and your sisters again." Ash promised his best friend, looking at her with a smile.

"Thank you." Misty responded in a grateful way. The girl then remembered the question that she had been meaning to ash Ash since before Daisy called. "Ash, can I ask you something?"

"Of course." Ash responded with a smile still on his face.

"Why did you seem so scared when that guy mentioned the Kanto War?"

Ash smiled vanished as he let out a deep sigh after hearing the question, this was something he didn't want to talk about right now. "I rather not talk about."

Misty gave a sympathetic frown to the eleven year old. "Is it that bad?"

"It's personal." Ash instantly answered as he looked down at the ground. "And let's be honest, this night hasn't exactly been a good one so far. I'll tell you when I'm ready for it."

Misty stood up, taking Ash's hand so that he could stand up as well. "Let's just go back inside then, okay?"

Ash nodded after hearing that. The two walked back inside the Pokémon Center, holding each other's hand as they did so.

"So that's how Misty really feels about us." Daisy admitted as she looked down at desk that held up the computer.

While Ash and Misty were talking outside, Ryan had decided to take over the call with Daisy. The boy had told the older sister about how Misty really felt after having no respect from her own family, and it was something that Daisy was still trying to think about. Ryan let out a sigh after hearing the girl speak.

"Look, I know you love Misty." Ryan began in the most gentle way he could. "But it often feels like you just treat like an object instead of an actual sibling, or even just a person."

"We didn't mean to make her feel bad about herself, but I guess we really are that terrible." Daisy responded in a rather dejected way. "What is wrong with me?"

That last sentence made Ryan feel pity for the Gym Leader. "Even though she has not said it to you, Misty does want to fix your relationship. The problem is that you just don't seem interested in that."

"Of course we want to help our little sister!" Daisy declared as she looked up at Ryan. "I just wish we knew how to do that."

Ryan now felt very bad for the girl. He could now see that underneath the beauty and the fame, Daisy was a caring person at heart. Even though he may not any siblings of his won, he could still feel the pain coming from her.

"You know, I personally recommended fixing the problems in your personal lives before you focus on Misty's." Ryan suggest with a small smile. "Then after you have fixed your own problems, you can finally mend the bond between you two."

"Are you sure about that?" The blonde asked in curiosity.

Ryan decided to tell here the true answer. "I am not really sure, but you could at least try it."

Daisy gave a small, but thankful nod. "We'll try to become better sisters. Thank you for talking with me."

"Anytime." Ryan told her with a smile still present on his face.

The screen then became black as the call had now ended. The boy took a much more further seat back in the chair, letting out an exhale through his nose. Ryan wasn't quite sure if he made the right choice talking to Daisy like that, but he seemed to have at least influence her, and hopefully Violet and Lily as well, to become better siblings. However, that will take time for a result to appear.

"I hope everything becomes better for you, Daisy." Ryan thought to himself as he sat back in the seat.

"Hey, Ryan?" The ten year old turned his head to see that both Misty and Ash were standing right by him. "Is Daisy still on the phone?"

"Sorry, but I just ended the call with her a few minutes ago." Ryan quickly apologized to the girl as he stood up to walk away from the computer.

"It's probably best that she didn't see me, I could only image what he would have said to me." Ash remarked as he sat down at the computer now, grabbing the phone with his hand.

Misty was confused by this. "Who are you calling?"

"I need to call Professor Oak." Ash answered like it was nothing. "I need to tell him about how my journey has been so far, and about Charmander." Misty silently nodded after hearing that, understanding why Ash was doing this. Ash waited patiently after he pressed all the buttons for the phone number, hearing the ringing noise come from the phone. It only took about ten seconds before the call finally began.

"Hello?" A voice asked from the phone, Professor Oak's voice.

"It's Ash." That was all the eleven year needed to say to get a reaction out of Oak. The once black screen was now replaced with a video camera that showed the Region's Professor in all of his glory. His face quickly lit up after seeing Ash.

"It's great to see you after so long, Ash." Oak remarked in a kind way.

"Hi, Professor Oak!" Ash greeted in a joyful manner. "Did you miss me?"

"Of course I missed you! Do you think I could ever forget someone as brash as you?" Oak asked him with a smile.

"I'm happy that you still care about us." Ash responded as he rested his head on the open palm of his hand. "Sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to tell you about what has happened since we last saw each other."

Oak gave a nod after hearing the explanation. "Well, tell me what has happened since I last spoke with you?"

"First off, I would like to show you my-" Before Ash was allowed to finish his sentence, someone had interrupted him from the other side.

"Ash?" A new voice questioned as they saw the professor and Trainer talking through the computer. "Is that really you?"

The three kids didn't know why, but the voice sounded oddly familiar. "Who is there?"

Everyone watched as Oak moved out of the way so that this new person could be seen, and on the screen was a person that Ash, along with everyone besides Sakura, had not seen in such a long time. It was the scientist that they had meet all the way back in Mt Moon.

It was Seymour himself.

"SEYMOUR!" The three yelled out in excitement, happy to see the quirky scientist after so long.

"Oh! It's so great to see you all again!" Seymour exclaimed in a very joyful way as he looked at the kids he considered to be friends, but he noticed that one of them was missing. "Is Brock with you?"

"I am very much present." Brock told them as he walked up to the computer, the group surprised that Brock was able to hear their conversation.

"So it's true. The Pewter Gym Leader really did leave his position to go out on a journey." Oak told the group as he sat right beside the standing Seymour. "Of course a former Gym Leader like you joined Ash's journey."

"Brock just wanted to go explore the Region with us." Misty explained in a kind way.

"I know who you are." Oak told the girl as he pointed at her. "You are Misty, the younger sister of the Cerulean Gym Leader."

"That is correct, professor." Misty responded, a little surprised that Oak actually knew that.

"That's means that you are Ryan." Oak finished off as he pointed to the boy, who gave a small nod in response. "My assistant has told me all of about your group, Ash."

Ash gave out a small gasp after hearing that sentence. "Wait. Seymour is your assistant now?"

"That's right." Oak exclaimed with a smile. "And he told me that is was you that gave him the courage to come here."

"Congratulations. Seymour." Ryan praised the man, something that everyone else did as well. Seymour wasn't expecting all the praise that he was getting, hiding his face behind a book in his hands.

"I am grateful for your praise." Seymour told them, his face no longer behind the book. "Well, I have to go finish some paperwork now. Thank you for leading me here, guys."

"Goodbye, Seymour." Ash told the scientist as he walked away from the screen, everyone else saying goodbye as well. Now it was just Oak and the group again. "Seymour seems to be enjoying his time with you."

"He really does like working with me, even if he is sometimes clumsy." Oak responded as looked at the screen. "So, what were trying to tell me earlier?"

Ash then remembered what he was about to show Oak, and opened up his jacket. "I just wanted to show you the two badges that I have gotten so far!" Ash exclaimed as he pointed to both the Boulder and Cascade Badge.

"Great job so far, Ash." Oak responded. "And congratulations on being 11, since your birthday was back in May."

"Thank you, but I'm not the only one in my group that is going after the badges." Ash then pointed up to Ryan. "This guy is also collecting badges now."

"That's right, and I so far have the Boulder Badge." Ryan answered in a confident way.

Oak was quite thrilled by this. "Well, I'm very excited to see what this group of 4 will be doing in the future."

"It's actually a group of 5, Professor Oak." Ash corrected, Sakura walking up right behind them.

"And I'm the 5th member." Sakura told the professor her usual calm way, sitting down right beside Ash.

"This is Sakura, and she want to be a Pokémon Professor like you." Misty told Oak as he pointed to her companion.

"Really?" Oak asked as his eyes focused on Sakura. "Well, make sure to study and know everything you can if you really do want that position."

"I appreciate the advice." Sakura said in an emotionless way, but giving a small bow at the professor.

"I must say, it's been nice speaking with you. But I have to leave now" Before Oak could exit the call, Ash realized one more thing.

"Wait." This simple word made Oak stop what he was doing. "I forgot to tell you about the Charmander that we just found,"

"And what happened to the Charmander?" Oak questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"It's Trainer has left it behind, calling it too weak." Ash began to tell the Region's professor. "We brought it to this Pokémon Center, but it doesn't know that his Trainer has left him behind. What do you think we should do?

Oak thought about this for a second, a hand placed on his chin. He began to think about a good solution to this kind of a problem, because he knew that this would have a huge impact on the Pokémon. He had heard of stuff like this before, and came up with an answer.

"If you want my answer, I would just the Charmander the truth." Oak finally told the group in a very honest way. "It's best to be honest with these kind of things, even if the truth itself hurts."

"Is that what we should really do?" Ash questioned in an uneasy way, not liking this idea that much.

"There's no point in lying, it will only make things worse." Oak let out a sigh as his were still focused on the screen. "I need to go right now, but it was nice talking with all of you."

"Goodbye, professor." The 5 members of the group said as they waved farewell to Oak. They watched as he waved back as well, silently pressing a button on his keyboard. The screen then became black once again, and for the last time now.

Ash let out a sigh as he just stood there for a good minute. He eventually got up to go walk up to the Nurse Joy there, wanting to request a talk with the still healing Charmander. Everyone watched as the boy went to go tell Charmander the sad truth, none of them even trying to interfere with this.

It was clear that Ash really did no want to do this to the Charmander, but the Fire type needed to know the truth. Ash began to think as he was walking with Nurse Joy, wondering if there was any good way of saying this. Honestly, he could not tell what the Pokémon will do after hearing the new of his Trainer. But one thing was for sure.

This was something that Charmander wouldn't take well.

"I can't believe that bitch had the nerve to mess with someone like me!" Damian growled between his teeth as he walked across the woods, not even caring that the rain was pouring down on him. "And for what, some worthless Charmander?!"

Damian was still obviously furious at the group of random Trainers that not only scared him out of the Pokémon Center, but for also exposing him and making him loss any kind of respect from his friends. The boy was now downright aggressive at this point, and was ready to harm any Trainer or Pokémon that stood within his path.

"I'll make that garbage pay for what they did t-"

All of a sudden, something had stabbed itself into the neck of Damian. Instead of blood gushing out from his neck, his world began to become distorted around him. Damian moved his arm, a limb that was starting to loss the ability to move, and was able to quickly take out whatever had him in the neck. The blue haired boy saw what it was with his somewhat blurry vision.

It looked to be some kind of dart.

"What the hell?" Damian could barley think at this point as his vision began to become too blurry to even see properly. Everything began to become dark around him, his body slowly falling to the ground. Damian fell down to the ground, his body now motionless.

The twelve year was now unconscious on the ground, the dart right by his unmoving hand. Suddenly, two people began to walk towards the knocked out body of Damian. It was quite clear that one was a boy and the other was a girl, both appeared to be around their late 20's. You could see that they had white rain coats, black boots, and white pants.

A large 'R' on their coats.

"Dang it. I accidently hit some kid." The woman said in a disappointed way, a scoped tranquilizer gun that was pointed to the sky in her hand. The girl let out a sigh before looking at her partner. "Should we just leave him out here?"

The male began to think, keeping both of his eyes on Damian. "I think we should take him with us. We have recruited much worse before."

"But he's a kid." The girl stated as he pointed at Damian's motionless body. "Not exactly the kind of people were looking for."

"It's a good thing that he's a kid, that means it will be that much more easier to manipulate him." The male explained with a smile. "Besides, our Captain isn't one to judge age."

The girl shrugged after hearing this, placing the gun on her back. "You make a pretty good point." The girl was able to easily pick up Damian's unconscious body, silently thinking about how light he was.

"We can throw him in with the others. I think it's time that we head back to Base." Both of them began to walk away from the scene, the girl quickly picking up the dart from the ground. The pair disappeared behind the large trees, still holding onto the knocked out form of Damian with them. They were now hoping that their Captain was going to be pleased with the collection of future Grunts that they would personally bring back to Base.

The only noise that came from that area was the rain quickly falling down from the dark sky.

The morning sun was now out, the rain no longer falling from the sky. Everyone in the group had decided to sleep on the coach's in the Pokémon Center, something that the Nurse Joy allowed. All of them were still sleeping, and it wasn't exactly a comfortable rest. It was yesterday when the group spoke with Oak, and since Ash had told Charmander the truth about his Trainer.

Ash had told the Pokémon in the most direct way possible, not wanting to keep the truth from the Fire type. Charmander was understandably in denial, anger, and sadness all at once. The poor Pokémon began to lash out in completely rage, setting fire to stuff of the things in the room it was in. It took Ash's Oddish to use Sleep Powder in order to stop Charmander, and Ash now felt bad for doing this in the first place.

But now Ash was fast asleep, his Wartortle sleeping right by him. All of them were now just trying to enjoy their rest before they would continue on their journey, and eventually arriving to a place called Mitis Town before Vermillion.

All of a sudden, Nurse joy ran into the room with a very distressed face. "Everyone, wake up!"

This simple shout made everyone open their eyes and begin to sit up. "What?" Sakura asked in the most patient voice she could use, putting on her classes.

"Charmander is gone!"

This simple sentence made everyone fully wake up, their eyes now widened. "Wait, how?" Ash immediately asked as he walked up to Nurse Joy, putting on his shows as he walked up to her. "What happened?"

"I went to go check up on him a few minutes ago, but Charmander wasn't there and the window was wide open." Nurse Joy tried to explained in the most calm way she could. "There's no way to tell how far he has gotten at this point."

"Is Charmander still trying to look for Damian, even though Ash had told him the truth?" Ryan asked out loud, a question that no one could give a solid answer to.

"Well, we need to go and bring Charmander back here." Brock declared as he took a step forward. "It's very likely that he is still angry about the whole situation, and it would be terrible if Charmander accidently attacked someone."

Sakura then thought of an idea, a place that Charmander was most likely going to be at. "I'll check in the forest." She offered in her usual calm way.

"Alright, you can check the forest." Ash permitted with a nod, Wartortle now on his back. "The rest of us are going to check the nearby area's." All of them quickly went out the door, leaving behind the still worried Nurse Joy.

Everyone split up as soon as they left the building, Sakura instantly running away. Instead of checking the nearby tree's or exterior of the Pokémon Center, Sakura instantly went into the woods near the path. Sakura had thought of a reasonable location for the Fire type to be, and she was certain that the Pokémon was going to be there.

She just felt like she was going to find something there.

Sakura had ran all the way out into the woods, now far away from the group and Pokémon center. The twelve year thought that Charmander might go back to the same place that's Trainer had left him at. It may not be the right answer, but it was a very strong possibility.

She was now at the rock that the group had found the Fire type in the first place. Sakura wasted no time in climbing up the rock, not having any real difficulties as she did so. The girl reached the top, seeing that her prediction was right.

At the top was a sad, unmoving Charmander that stared off into nothingness.

"I knew I would find you here." Sakura stated in her emotionless way, Charmander not even showing a bit of reaction. "I won't force you to return to the Pokémon Center if you don't want me to."

"Char." Was the only response the Fire type said.

"I'll just be taking a seat right next to you." Sakura told the Fire type as she sat right by the Pokémon, her legs dangling off the edge of the rock.

The two just sat there, neither of even trying to make any subtle noise or movement. A gentle breeze went through that area of the woods, moving some of Sakura's hair and the dead leaves on the ground. Sakura moved her eyes towards the Charmander, a small look of pity from the usually emotionless girl.

"I get that you are mad and confused right now, that is the kind of emotions anyone would be feeling during something like this." Sakura told him in a still calm way. "However, do you think that just sitting here with a frown is going to solve all of your problems?"

"Charmander." The Pokémon responded, not even caring about the answer it gave.

Sakura let out a sigh after hearing that answer. "Listen, life isn't fair in the slightest. Everyone suffers from something, no matter how big or small it is." Sakura began to explain in a calm way. "Learning to let go of your hatred and move past your problems is something that everyone must do, and those who aren't able to do that don't make that far in this world."

Charmander began to actually look at Sakura, now actually interested in what she was going to say. Even though Charmander still wanted to be left alone, he would at least listen to Sakura for a little bit.

"You act this is the end of the world, but that is not even remotely true for you. You now have a chance to actually try again with a Trainer that will respect you, or to have a life of your own again." Sakura told the Pokémon, still trying to hide her emotions from everything. "You are still able to makes things great again. I wasn't given that choice with my problem."

Charmander was now very curious on what Sakura was trying to tell him. He was wondering what has Sakura went through that was even worse then getting abandoned by a Trainer, the closest thing that a Pokémon had to family.

"I have seen hundred's of people die in front of me, all of them had their lives taken away from them in an instant. " Sakura began to explain to the Fire type, her trying not to show any expression. "They all died. And guess what? I could not do a single damn thing about it."

Charmander was actually horrified after hearing that, the poor Pokémon was struggling to even image her sentence. The fire type thought that she was lying at first, but the amount of emotion now present in her voice suggested otherwise. There was even a tear forming on her left eye.

"But for some reason, I was allowed to live. I was allowed to actually continue my life while everyone else had perished." Sakura wiped away the tear that was threating to escape from her eye. "Even though I have moved past all of that, I still wonder why I was allowed to stay on this world."

The Charmander now realized just how truly lucky he was. Even though his Trainer had left him behind, he at least knew that his Trainer was still alive thanks to Ash. Sakura had personally seen so much death, and she was somehow able to move past that. The Pokémon now felt like a fool at this point.

Sakura let out a sigh, an emotionless expression back on her face. "I'll leave you alone now." She quickly jumped off the the rock with little difficulty, walking away from the Fire type. "Good luck with your life."

Charmander saw the pink haired girl walk away from him, hearing the last sentence that she gave him. The Pokémon was now alone once again, new thoughts going through his mind. The things that Sakura had told him was still in his mind, and he now realized just how good he actually had it.

The Pokémon had meet someone else that suffered more than he could ever could have. He now saw that he can move on from this, and he now had a choice presented right in front of him. All of a sudden, Charmander quickly climbed down the rock and ran in the direction that the twelve year old went. If he really was in charge of his life now, then he had the ability to finally join someone who will treat him with kindness. He wanted to join the person that had talked to him in the first place.

He wanted to join Sakura's team.

Everyone in the group, besides Sakura, were now waiting outside of the Pokémon Center. No one had any luck at finding the Fire type and everyone had agreed that it was time to call off the search. They were all just waiting for Sakura to come back to them, and they did see that the pink haired girl was walking up to them.

"Did you find him?" Ash questioned as soon as Sakura walked up to them, hoping that there was a slim chance that they had found the Pokémon.

"No. I was not able to find him." Sakura lied in a very calm way, shaking her head as she said it.

Ash let out a sad sigh, disappointed that they couldn't find the hurt Charmander. "I think we should just continue our journey now."

"Ash is right." Misty agreed as she took a step forward. "It was his choice to leave us, and we can not force him to return if he truly doesn't want to."

Both Ryan and Brock knew that was truth, and it's not like Charmander was their Pokémon in the first place. They all began to finally walk down the path again, still trying to make it to Vermillion City. Everyone was still worried for Charmander, but they tried to bury that thought in their mind. All they had to focus on was the path again.

"Charmander!"

Everyone stopped completely after hearing that behind them. They all turned to see where that actually came from, and they had their eyes widened after what they saw was on the path.

Charmander was looking right at them, panting after all the running it had done to get here

"I-It's Charmander." Misty said out loud in surprise, watching as Brock walked up to the Pokémon.

Brock knelled down in front of the Fire type. "Why did you come back?" The former Gym Leader asked in a kind way.

"Char. Char. Char." The Fire type responded as he pointed at Sakura, something that confused everyone at first.

"Why is he pointing to Sakura?" Ryan thought to himself as he saw Charmander walk up to the twelve year old.

Sakura watch the Pokémon slowly walk up to her. "What?"

What came next was something that no one expected. Charmander had hugged the legs of Sakura in a very loving way. Sakura was quite confused about this, even raising an eyebrow at the Fire type.

"Charmander." The Pokémon pointed up to the girl's face. Everyone had now figured out what Charmander was actually trying to say to them.

"I think Charmander want to be with you, Sakura." Ash told his friend, causing Sakura to actually seemed surprised.

She looked down at the Fire type. "Is that your choice?"

"Charmander." The Pokémon gave a very sure nod, no doubt whatsoever.

Sakura took out a Great Ball from her Satchel, the same one she had used to capture Charmander in the first place. She said nothing as she clicked the button on the ball, shooting a red beam of light at Charmander. The Pokémon went inside the Great Ball without any issue and Sakura looked at the now occupied ball with some satisfaction.

Charmander was now officially her Pokémon.

"Congratulations, Sakura!" Misty instantly told her in a cheerful way. "You now have a starter of your own."

Sakura placed the ball in her bag, a small look of content on her face. "I guess I do."

"That was great, Sakura." Ash told the quiet girl with a smile. "But I think it's time we do continue down the path."

"So, what is our next stop?" Ryan asked Brock with a smile.

Brock took the map out of his backpack, examining it more closely this time. "We should be in a place called Mitis Town by tomorrow, and it's going to be the last major stop before we finally reach Vermillion!"

"Then let's go!" Ash yelled out in his usual enthusiastic way, running ahead with a big smile on his face. He was excited that his group was growing as Pokémon Trainer's, and that they were recruiting Pokémon that he thought were strong. He was excited because he, Ryan, and Sakura were all going to be at the Pokémon League next year. The ten year old was going to defeat any opponent to protect the people that he cared about, no matter how powerful they truly were.

But none of them could've predicted was going to happen when they made it there, and none of them were ever going to forget about it.

Going through the forest was a car that was going at quite a fast speed, the sun right above the car. The car itself was black and was quite long in size, it almost seemed like a mini limo. This vehicle was still going down the path, trying to reach it's destination as soon as possible.

Even though you couldn't see through the windows of the vehicle, it was clear that someone was in it. In the large backseat of the area were three people wearing cloaks, two wore white while one wore black. All of them were merely just sitting around in the back seat, a window behind the one black cloaked that led to the driver of this car.

"How much time until we get to Mitis Town?" One of the white cloaked men asked in a patient way.

"We should arrive by tomorrow afternoon." The man in the black cloaked responded, the captain of this operation. "Remember, we are only to finish the mission as quickly as possible. We are not going there to cause chaos."

"Don't worry, I'll try not to kill anyone while were there." The other white cloaked man promised in a very half-assed manner. "But don't blame me if someone tries to attack us."

The white cloaked then opened up a bottle of wine, pouring himself a glass cup. "Why don't we have a good cup of wine before our mission then? Would you care for any, Captain?"

"No thanks."

The man said as he looked up at his two Lieutenant's. There was no face on him, but rather a mask that had eye holes on it. The mask itself was the darkest black and had human face features on it, it also seemed to have a very crystal like appearance to it. No one could see what his face or hair color was, but his eye color looked to be gray.

The Lieutenant just gave a small shrug after this, giving the second cup to the other Lieutenant. "Guess your not a big fan of this kind of wine."

The two white cloaked man quickly bought their glasses together before drinking the fine wine. Even though they may seem ordinary people on the outside, they were also some of the most dangerous people in this Region. Underneath the cloaks were some of the highest ranking members of Team Rocket itself, and people that could defeat any obstacle in their path. They were going to complete this mission and bring the item back to Base.

No matter what it takes.

Let's see how Green is doing so far!

Bonus Scene:

"I think were lost, Charmeleon." Green said in a very casual way, looking at the trees around her.

"Charmeleon!" The Pokémon responded in an angry way.

It was quite clear that both Green and her Pokémon were lost in the forest. During the past ten minute Charmeleon to tell her Trainer that they were lost. It was only now that the ten year old figured out that they were off-track, and it was understandable why the Fire type was angry right now.

"I know. I'm angry that were lost too." Green said to her Pokémon, not understanding what her Fire type was trying to tell her. Green tried to think about what to do right now, wondering how far they were from the path.

"Never thought I was going to see you here."

A voice had said from behind her, a very familiar voice. The paired had turned around and were surprised to see who it was, especially Green. Only a few feet away from was someone that she had known for years, and a boy that she lived in Pallet Town with.

It was not only Red himself, but his Pikachu that was sitting on his shoulder as well.

"RED!"

Green wasted no time running over to her friend, giving him a very joyful hug like it was nothing. Red wasn't slightly fazed by this action, and even wrapped a single arm around her. Pikachu saw that Charmeleon was nearby and happily waved at the Fire type, a gesture that the other Pokémon returned in a less enthusiastic way.

"I guess your that happy to see me after all this time." Red commented as he and Green broke their hug.

"Of course I'm happy to see you again!" Green stated in a joyful way. That is when the girl saw the Pikachu on Red's shoulder, and the girl was dazzled by the Pokémon's cute face. "Is that your Pokémon?!"

"He is. His name is Pikachu." Red answered as he looked at his Electric type, seeing that the Pokémon was proud with all of the attention it had now.

"Can I pet him?" Green asked in with a big smile.

"It's best if you don't. You might accidently get harmed if you do." Red told her in a calm way, hands in his pocket. "So, what are you doing out here?"

"I got lost on the way to Mitis Town." Green answered with a frown on he face. "Now I have no idea what to do now."

"I guess I did take the wrong turn then." Red thought to himself as he watched Green lay on the ground with as began to let out a forced whine.

"We're going to stuck out here forever now!" Green said as she began to roll around on the ground like a child, something that made Red slightly snicker to himself.

"How about we both walk to Mitis Town?" Red suggested as Pikachu was now standing right by him on the ground. "It should only take about two days to actually get there."

"Your really okay with that?!" Green asked in a very hopeful way.

"Of course." Red responded in a stoic, but still kind way. "Your going to need someone to keep you from getting lost again."

Green stood up gave the boy the happiest hug she could give, smiling at these new turn of events. "I'm so happy that your my friend!"

"I don't think I was given a choice." Red responded in a humorous manner, a small smile on his face.

And it seemed like the answer was quite clear now. Not only were the two Trainers going to go to the same town together, but the two Pokémon now had to opportunity to get to know each other. Even though they may be rivals during their journeys, but that doesn't mean they couldn't help each other. The newly formed group walked together, the bright stars right above their heads.
