I think the next ship I'll do is MarshallxEverest since someone asked for it. Anyways let's get into it.

SIMPLE MINDED

"Ughh, do we have to go to the queen royal dinner?" Rocky complained knowing there definitely going to be trouble.

Chase turned around glancing at Rocky for making Ryder's already complicated life harder.

"Look rocky, I know none of us like that mutt but can you just not complain? For Ryder." Chase said looking at Rocky with serious eyes.

"I know your loyal to him and everything but you don't need to lie to yourself about going to the palace." Rocky objected.

Chase didn't nothing but sighed and walk away probably to find the others.

"Jeez, what a-"

"Whatta ya talking to yourself about?" Everest said running up to rocky excited that she was coming along.

"Nothing... just packing up some things if I get bored or something. I don't get how chase can stand going over there." Rocky said putting a drill into the bag.

Everest questioned his odd action before wondering why they hated her so much. "Why would chase especially dislike her?" Everest asked knowing they knew something they never told her about.

"She trapped him in a dungeon. We wouldn't have found him if it wasn't for Zuma." Rocky said dropping some screws inside.

"You know, you always have your opinions. I know the others have opinions but you have opinions on everything. I know you think-"

"Don't go into the dating subject. It's pointless." Rocky said blocking her for the 5th time this morning.

"I was just gonna say, you probably won't find anyone because you are just to smart for them to keep up." Everest said forcing herself to stop before mentioning an unwanted name.

"Okay... go kiss Marshall or something." Rocky suggested trying to shoo her away.

"Okay... byee." Everest said before walking away in frustration and embarrassment while mumbling something's under her breath.

"Jeez, I can't catch a break here." Rocky said finally zipping up his heavy suitcase.

He looked at chase walking out the others and most of them didn't have much with them. Some didn't have anything at all.

He looked down at his heavy bag and decided to throw it into his pup house. For convenience...

"Okay pup, we ready to see the princess become the queen of barkingburg?" Ryder asked walking out with robo dog.

They all started barking and howling to hear the mention of the princesses. They loved her. Especially chase since between them 2. She had a favorite.

"Okay." Ryder said walking over to the back of the lookout and pulling out a small remote. He scanned over the button and made a grump of approval before clicking a button.

Soon a silver circle opened up from the ground and popped up the new and improved air patroller. It had a more sleek design with a repaint after the last time they went on it they found out one of the reasons why skye didn't like eagles. The windows were now bulletproof and the vehicle bay was removed for more space since they already have a set of vehicles at barkingburg.

"Wow, this looks awesome!" Rubble said running inside and jumping into his seat.

Soon the others followed and sat into their designated seats.

"These awe comfy." Zuma said pushing his weight onto the leather seats.

"I know, this thing is awesome." Skye agreed.

Rocky has been wondering around the plane looking the wiring and still in awe how ryder does this. He helped him with the plane but what he did was very little compared to what Ryder did.

"Okay pups! Take your seat and barkingburg right go! Take us away robo dog." Ryder said as the pups out their matching colored seat belts.

They were getting closer to the palace. They played board games to pass time. Rocky beat them 3 times in monopoly and rubble got lucky in exploding kittens. They played many others as well.

"Hey Ryder." Marshall said

"Yep."

"Is this a formal dinner or a fancy dinner?" Marshall asked looking for an answer.

"This is a fancy one. I was gonna let you guys pick out your favorite when we get there if you want to, you can go to the back and look at the tuxedos and dresses." Ryder said focusing back on the Sky in front.

The pups rushed to the back where the vehicles used to be.

There were separate color coordinated wardrobes with their classic symbols.

The boys were underwhelmed with their simple black tuxedos and matching colored bow ties but the girls were excited at the least. They picked up their dresses and went to go put them on.

"Looks like they are having fun..." Rocky said with his tuxedo already on.

"When did you... never mind but. At least we look kinda good." Rubble said slipping his onto himself as well.

Soon the others followed in suit and soon they looked at each other with a grin.

"You look quite well sir..." chase said in an over exaggerated British accent.

"Yes indeed. You look quite well yourself." Rocky replied in the same accent.

"Ahh yes, what a magnificent day for some crumpets filled with marvelous jelly with a cup of the sweat tea." Marshall replied causing them to break character and snicker.

"Anyways... after the party wanna find some dates?" Zuma winked.

"Hey hey hey... I know you guys are mature now but don't go around breaking hearts." Ryder interrupted hearing zumas comment.

"Okay, but can we still go on a boys night out?" Zuma asked

"Yeah, what's the worst that could happen?" Marshall pointed out.

"You're dating Everest." Rubble laughed while pinching Marshall.

"Besides that. I won't go out with anyone. I'll just watch. Everest is all I need." Marshall said feeling proud that he was the first to get a girlfriend out of them.

Everest was silently listening. She almost busted out and hit Marshall.

"I don't know. Barkingburg has always been sketchy in some parts." Ryder said not even looking back.

"Ohh come on. Pleeeease." Rubble said begging for this. "I won't eat any treats for a week." He added

Chase knew when rubble brought up not eating the situation had gone dire.

"Look Ryder. I promise to keep everyone in check and in order. I'll make sure none of us stray AWAY." Chase said giving a nervous faced Zuma a stare due to the previous time they went out.

"Fine..."

The pups cheered and howled as for they have never been out in the classy streets of barkingburg. The stone sidewalks and old school lights were already cool but mixed in with the modern arcades and restaurants it was a place stuck in the past and the present.

"BUT, I want all of you back before midnight. Don't do anything dumb either and if you see a cop don't act suspicious." Ryder said hitting a button.

Soon the pups felt the affect of it after they had flew forward and landed on top of each other. Then came a loud thud from where the Skye and Everest were.

Ryder started dying of laughter. Soon robo dog tried to join in but it didn't make sense to him.

"Not funny." Rocky said jumping up and dusting himself off.

"Oooh that was unexpected." Zuma said rubbing his head from the tumble.

"Little help here..." Marshall said trying to push the heavy bulldog off of him.

With all their strength they managed to push rubble off and Marshall gasped for air.

"Phew, I almost because a Whoopi Cushion." Marshall joked.

"Alright.." Ryder said standing up from his seat as the bay door rolled down and the pups rushed outside not noticing Skye and Everest joining them.

"Finally, we are here." Zuma sighed.

"Mhm, the castle is just in front of us as well." Rubble said loving that part about the special parking location they get.

They made their way across the fancy stone bridge as the huge wooden doors opened up revealing the princess in her usual dress and tiara with her criminal mastermind dog.

"Why hello paw patrol." Sweetie said looking at them showing no form of threat or danger.

"Ryder, you made it!" She said giving him and hug and looking over to the pups. "And you guys. I picked out the best treats for the best pups in the world!" She said pulling out a bag of treats and handing them to each one pausing at Everest.

"Hello your highness." Everest greeted.

"Why hello. Is this Everest your snow paw patroller you tell me great things about?" She asked admiring her light blue and grey dress.

"Yeah, she's the best at what she does." Ryder complimented.

"Ahh, finally nice to meet you!" The queen said handing her the treat and petting her head. "You don't need to call me your highness either."

"Your highnessesness." Chase said butchering the name again. "Are the royal kittens about?" He asked since his allergies to them has gone from sneezing to puffing up. Luckily there hasn't been any close calls with Callie or the cat-astrophe crew and mayor humdinger.

"Yeah, why do you ask?" The queen questioned what seemed to be his sudden disliking towards them.

"His allergies to them has gotten mildly worse." Ryder said stepping in to save chase from imminent danger.

"Okay, come inside. I'll put them out back so they can play." The queen said leading them inside with sweetie by her side.

The pups all seemed to dislike her but one had a deeper thought about it.

"These are your bedrooms for the night." The queen said pointing upstairs but continued to walk somewhere else. "And this is the great dining hall where my parents, friends and of course you guys will be eating." She said in a gleeful voice.

"Wow, this place only gets better!" Rubble commented.

"Yeah, plus we still have an extra day to just hang out." Marshall said

"Race you to the wooms!" Zuma exclaimed giving him a head start.

Everyone joined him on the race besides rocky. He decided to stay with Ryder, the almost queen and sweetie.

"Rocky, you like building stuff right? Like helping Ryder and his inventions." The queen asked and sweetie instantly knowing where this was going and went wide eyed trying to give hints to stop.

"Yeahh." Rocky said in an unsure manner noticing sweeties sudden attempt to block the queen from speaking.

"If you want you could look in sweeties room and look her gadgets." The queen offered as sweetie looked defeated.

Rocky was about to deny the offer but "you should go look. Maybe you could learn a thing or two." Happened and now 2 important people want him to check it out.

"Guess I'll go." Rocky shrugged regretting it. He saw sweetie's face go from defeated to annoyed.

"Cool, we'll be down here." Ryder said.

"Okay." Sweetie and rocky said as they walked up some stairs.

When they got to the top sweetie turned around.

"You idiot... why would you agree to that?" She asked trying to wrap her head around in.

"I don't know, they both seemed like they wanted me to do it." Rocky defended.

Sweetie let out a sigh before opening the door to her room.

Rocky was surprised at what he saw.

There was a nice white and purple finish but what had surprised him were all the random objects lying around. Drills, hammers, nails, screws, and more were just sitting there.

"Wow." Rocky said looking at sweetie. Noticing it's easier to see her natural beauty when she's not trying to steal anything.

"Do you just wake up like that?" Rocky asked curiously.

"Yeah, why?" She asked back

Rocky realized another reason why the girls could possibly dislike sweetie.

"Nothing, so where do you build your actual stuff." Rocky said looking at small robots.

Sweetie rolled her eyes and pressed on the wall and a secret door popped up.

Rocky followed her down and met her Chew toy bugsby. "Bugsby go charge."

Rocky watched the small robot run of to a small box.

"Wow, I don't know what to say. Your creations are on the same level as Ryder!" Rocky complimented making sweetie give a true smile.

"I'm sure your not that bad." Sweetie said giving back some praise.

"Oh, I really just help Ryder with wiring and coding the system. The building part is what I'm still trying to learn from him." Rocky explained feeling comfortable to speak. Like someone finally understands.

"Cool, rugsby helps me with coding. He's good at it." Sweetie explained looking at the small robot.

"Did he teach himself?" Rocky asked in amazement.

Sweetie just nodded in pride.

"Wow, it must get lonely." Rocky said feeling the same feeling on the inside.

"Yeah, nobody can really keep up." Sweetie sighed

"That's how it feels at the lookout." Rocky said

"Yeah but at least you have other people who are willing to talk to you. I'm stuck here with my AI chew toy and 2 cats that can't talk. They don't want to speak to me because of the bad image I put on myself." Sweetie said swiftly wiping away a tear so rocky doesn't notice.

This made rocky take everything he had for granted. If Ryder wanted to he could easily get rid of him. Even if he did have him rocky still has the pups to talk to. They would do anything for him.

"Your the first person I've ever told you that. Your probably here to spy." Sweetie said seeing what his response would be.

"No no no, I enjoy talking to you when your not stealing." Rocky said looking at unfinished projects feeling bad that she has nobody to help her.

"Not like anyone else would be willing to talk to me." Sweetie joked

"I think if Ryder told chase to he would. Chase is like a mindless goon that will do anything for Ryder." Rocky said hoping she wouldn't blackmail him.

"Can't blame him. That german Shepards do best." Sweetie said feeling pressured to say something.

"So, this is out of the blue but do you wanna make something? Or finish on of your unfinished projects?" Rocky asked

"Sure!" Sweetie jumping up to her feet before going back to her calm manner.

Rocky stood up and followed her to a small rover like build.

"We'll work on this. It's cool when you see the end product." Sweetie said picking him up.

"Okay, I need to know what it is so I can help." Rocky said

"Oh, yeah." Sweetie said

They worked on the project for the rest of the day. Almost finishing it but as the night took over they couldn't work anymore.

"We can finish it tomorrow." Sweetie said walking up the stairs as rocky followed. They shared thoughts and opinions and realized they had much in common.

Sweetie closed the door back up and turned around.

"That was fun." Rocky smiled feeling an unusual feeling.

They slowly moved their heads together as the silence took over.

They locked their muzzles and made it quick.

They looked at each other before rocky kissed her again.

Soon they kissed their worries and opinions away.

"That was fun!" Marshall said walking inside.

"Yeah, especially that one arcade." Rubble said

Chase made his way to his room to fall asleep.

"Maybe we should go to bed as well." Zuma suggested.

"Yeah, everyone is probably asleep." Marshall said leading them up the stairs.

"Rocky should have went." Rubble said walking into his room.

Marshall heard a suction cup like noise from... sweeties room.

Marshall got closer and realized what it was. Mainly because he knows from experience with a certain husky.

"There goes his favorite pup spot." Marshall thought to himself with a wide smile as he made his way to his room.
