Kicking into full gear. 3 weeks of break. Maybe 3-5 more chapters... maybe the end I'm not sure.

TOOTH FAIRY

"So... do you like anyone?" Everest asked feeling confident enough to bring up the conversation with her best friend.

Skye was caught off guard. It seemed like she forgot how to speak normally. "No..." she said in a weird tone.

Everest caught on. "Oh stop it, I know your lying." She laughed

There were loud muffled noises coming from inside the tower. Almost like people were arguing. "What's going on in there?"

"Maybe there playing a game?" Everest shrugged.

"Must be a harsh game." Skye said as she started walking towards the lookout to see what the commotion was. Everest followed.

They opened the door and saw something they never thought they would have seen. Zuma, rocky and tracker arguing about who knows what.

"You pointy eaw --"

"Oh be quiet! You can't even speak right!" Tracker insulted

"Oh look, goody miss two shoes" rocky said sighing and looking at skye.

"What did I do? You're the one who digs in trash bins" skye said back

Chase, Marshall, and rubble watched the sight unravel.

"Guys!" Marshall yelled.

His effort meant nothing as they ignored him and kept on arguing.

They couldn't do anything but watch as the paw patrol broke down into pieces. Until Ryder walked in.

"Wha- why are you arguing?!?" He asked. He got the same response as Marshall...Ignored.

One by one they each noticed him and fell silent. "Where's chase?" Ryder asked

"Right here sir." He said sheepishly.

"What happened? We were perfectly fine when I left..." Ryder said looking at the mess in front of him.

"We were fine... I went upstairs to get rubble and when I came down stairs they were arguing. Then Marshall walked in. Then skye and everest walked in and they got dragged in." Chase described.

"Mhm, okay"

Present time

"So how are the others doing?" Marshall asked looking at a screen with Ryders face.

"Oh yeah, they just needed to let out some steam, and secrets they've been hiding about others." Ryder said to Marshall.

"What kinds of secrets?" Chase asked

"Its internal between the pups, don't ask them about it either." Ryder said.

"Alright sir." Chase responded.

"So is everything fine now or..." Marshall asked

"They just had to let some things out, they bottled up their emotions and soon they got full of it and let it out. They seem to be doing fine now. Which leads me to now. Do you guys have anything to say?" Ryder asked

"N-no, why?" Chase asked.

"If it happened to the pups it could be going on with you 3 as well." Ryder said.

The all looked at each other. "No we're fine." Rubble said

"Okay, if ya say so. While we're here can you guys clean up the lookout a little bit?" Ryder asked

"Okay" Marshall said wagging his tail. He personally likes cleaning and keeping things neat.

"Okay, see you guys in a couple of days." Ryder said lifting up the camera showing the pups in an empty room playing tug of war with each other before hanging up.

Marshall almost felt a tear come out. The process of seeing people rebuild was magnificent to him. "At least when they are done we can find out what the secrets were." Rubble said

"Ryder said not to say anything about their secrets. Like we even know them." Chase said

"What do they know are about us? What if we're the ones doing something wrong?!?" Marshall said taking it somewhere else.

"As if, they would have talked to us. They aren't scared of us or anything." Chase said

Marshall left it at that not wanting to bring down chase as well.

"Let's get to cleaning!" Marshall said walking down stairs.

The other 2 followed suit.

Later that night

"Hey Marshall, I'm heading to bed." Chase said with an extra heavy yawn.

"Okay, I'll be out here." Marshall replied.

"Good night."

"Night"

A few minutes later rubble comes running down with an expression you can never forget. "I lost my first tooth!"

"You did? I thought you already lost them." Marshall said.

"Well guess i lost them now!" Rubble said excitedly.

Marshall decided to play along with it. "Go put it under your bed for the tooth fairy." Marshall said

"Okay!" Rubble said running up stairs and doing what he said.

Marshall turned around to see the money jar. You only use it during an emergency. "His first tooth is an emergency." Marshall said to himself before taking a dollar out.

He gave it some time before going up. He passed all of the empty rooms besides chases room which was the first down the hall. Then his room and so on.

He slid open rubbles door so quiet not even tracker could hear it. There he was peacefully asleep. Marshall checked under the pillow and there was no tooth to be found.

"Marshall?" Rubble asked

"Where your tooth?" Marshall asked

"The tooth fairy already came." Rubble explained.

"Oh..." Marshall said in confusion. "Looks like she beat me." Marshall replied.

"The tooth fairy is a guy." Rubble corrected.

"Sorry... guy then." Marshall said walking out and wondering what just happened. He shrugged it off and went to bed himself.

The next day

Marshall looked around the empty lookout and sighed. "The lookout looks sad when there's only 3 people here."

"Yeah, rubble lost his tooth." Marshall said

"Wow, that's good, I think." Chase shrugged

"Yep, we should head to the park, since no one is here and all. And rubble is asleep so it won't be that long." Marshall said

"Sure I guess, maybe Ella or Sylvia might be around there." Chase said

"And tuck." Marshall added

"...and tuck." Chase said

Marshall chuckled. "You really are gullible" he said

"I'm not gullible at all" chase defended as they walked out.

"You truly are, you probably like every girl we've met so far as the paw patrol, heck even sweetie." Marshall said with a wide grin on his face.

"Hey- b-but-that's no where near the truth!" Chase said with a mad blush on his face.

"Dude just pick one and go for it, or none at all." Marshall said.

"I'll go with n-none because I don't like anyone that way, NObody." Chase said squinting as Marshall for embarrassing him. "Plus I can't just pick them"

Marshall looked at chase and smiled. "You probably can, there's no cons into someone dating you." Marshall said trying to win this argument.

"I could say the same for you." Chase replied.

"I'm clumsy for one." Marshall said

"I uhhh... I dunno." Chase said in defeat not being able to find something bad about him.

"Yeah, what I thought." Marshall said pushing chase a little bit.

Chase shoved him back and started running away.

Before they knew it they were at the park. Tuck and Ella seemed to already be playing something.

"Hey guys!" Chase said before getting tackled by Marshall. Chase tried to move the Dalmatian but when all 4 paws are pinned you can do much.

"Where is skye and everest?" Ella asked

"Ryder took everyone else but me, Marshall and rubble somewhere because they had a big argument." Chase explained while trying to wriggle his paw out.

Soon tuck joined in and there was no escape for chase or Marshall.

"P-please g-get offffah." Chase said trying to relieve the pressure.

They both jumped off and chase felt lighter than a feather again.

"Did you hear about that girl who went missing?" Tuck said trying to scare them.

"Someone went missing?" Chase asked curiously.

"Yeah, she went missing yesterday." Tuck added

"Maybe--"

"No chase, they probably have people on the job. They don't need your help." Marshall said closing chases muzzle.

"Mhmm mmh!" Chase mumbled

"What?" Tuck said

Chase didn't attempt to speak this time.

Marshall lifted his paw and chase pushed him lightly.

"So what brings you two here?" Ella asked

"Nothing to do at the lookout." Marshall responded. "It looks sad over there." He added

"We should watch a movie at the lookout." Ella suggested.

"Should we?" Marshall asked chase for confirmation.

"Why you asking me?" Chase asked back.

"Because your like the 2nd leader." Marshall replied.

"Yeah but your like the 3rd leader." Chase said back.

"I think rocky would be that." Marshall said

"Fine sure." Chase said not wanting to get out smarted for a second time.

"Race ya to the look out!" Tuck said as he took off.

A chime could be heard at the top of the tower. "Ryder is probably calling." Chase said

"Let's take the elevator." Marshall suggested

Chase rolled his eyes and motioned for tuck and Ella to come in.

When they got the the TV answered on its own.

"Ryder sir!" Chase said his usual phrase.

"Oh, tuck, Ella nice to see you both." Ryder said

"Hello sir?" Ella said

"Just call me Ryder, what are you two doing here?" Ryder asked

"We were going to watch a movie." Marshall said wagging his tail.

Ryder looked at the 4 with a concerned look. "Okay..."

"You can trust us Ryder." Chase assured.

"Okay. I'll leave you guys too it then." Ryder said before hanging up.

They all ran down stairs and picked out 3 movies. "Someone is going to fall asleep." Tuck said

"Probably." Chase agreed.

7 hours later

"I'm surprised no one fell asleep." Tuck said at the door.

"Me too." Chase replied with a yawn.

"Well See ya later!" Ella said

"Byeeee!." Marshall replied

They both left and everything fell silent once again. "That was fun." Marshall said.

"Yeah."

They both walked upstairs.

"Night."

The next next day

"Hey Marshall, I'm gonna go buy some candy!" Chase yelled upstairs before leaving the lookout.

Marshall walked down and started to watch some TV. He switched through each channel. "Marshall!"

Marshall snapped his head around thinking something was wrong. "What!"

"I lost another tooth!" Rubble said holding it up and showing it to Marshall

"Maybe the tooth fairy will come by again." Marshall said suspiciously

"Okay!" Rubble said running up stairs.

Marshall turned around and switched through the channels again.

After 10 minutes of switching the news came up.

"Welcome back to channel 7"

"Mhm"

"Tragedy strikes once again today as Nancy White an 8 year old girl who went missing 3 days ago found dead with all her teeth missing. Her parents say she saw the tooth fairy before going missing..."

Marshall's eyes shot open and he dropped the remote and ran up stairs. What he saw shocked him.

A husky man in a plaid shirt and blue pants with a beard and fake fairy wings on his back.

"Rubble get over here!" Marshall yelled. Rubble scurried over to Marshall.

The man didn't speak a word, only walked towards Marshall.

Marshall prepared to fight back. Something he wouldn't ever do. This time it was necessary.

The burly man raised his hand and brought it down. He didn't hit Marshall but grabbed him and threw him.

Marshall hit the wall causing it to break and leave a hole.

Marshall bounced up and latched onto the mans arm causing him to grunt. He repeatedly punched Marshall's gut.

Chase walked in and heard the loud thuds upstairs. He put the bag of candy down and grabbed a knife just in case.

Before he got in he saw the door bang. He opened the door and saw that the shelves were broken and everything was a mess.

He opened the door and saw Marshall being choked by the man.

Chase ran in and bit the mans leg causing him to drop Marshall. He lost track of the knife somehow.

Now they had a fighting chance.

Chase and Marshall moved quickly around the man biting him and running.

Marshall tripped on a shovel and gave the man the chance to grab him. Chase lunged at him but to no luck. He now had chase and Marshall by the neck and now lifting both of them.

They both watched as a sharp, skinny silver object slid through the mans neck. Blood covered it and exited from his mouth as he let go.

Marshall ran to the hallway and grabbed the phone.

"911 this is an emergency, some guy came in a-and he's dead..." Marshall said trying to find the words

"Where is your location?" The girl asked calmly

"We're at the lookout."

"We'll be on our way" she said

Marshall walked back in to see chase talking to rubble.

"What happened?" Chase said standing up

"I think that guy is a killer." Marshall responded looking at the limp man.

"Wha-how?" Chase asked

"Wait for the cops to come." Marshall said

"What about Ryder! Me being a cop.." chase raced these questions through his head.

"Chase chase calm down, as long as we're okay everything is fine." Marshall said

"I'm gonna go call Ryder." Chase said walking out to the phone.

Sirens filled the air with Their deafening noise.

Chase walked back into the blood stained room. "Ryder said he's on his way back."

"What kind of tooth fairy was that?" Marshall mumbled to himself

"Tooth fairy?"
