Floating Labyrinth Block Puzzle

After winning the battle against Menace, he has also unintentionally won her heart as the desert princess took his first kiss and declare herself to be his lover following him wherever he goes. Although, this is shocking to the Fire Dragon Slayer as he is confused of what to do about this and the five girls of the group have been giving him some angry stares for some reason, but Romeo quickly reminded them of the tasks at hand.

Now they are looking at the strange structure Leina saw earlier before Menace appeared.

"What do you think this weird looking thing is?" Happy asked.

"I agree about the weird part, how exactly is it out in the middle of the desert like that?" Elina puzzled as well.

"I'm not sure, but if I had to make a guess…" Romeo paused.

"It's some sort of strange door, isn't it?" Michelle asked.

"Even if it is a door, how exactly do we open it?" Claudette wondered.

"Hey Menace, have you seen this door before?" Natsu asked the young woman clinging onto his right arm.

"No, I've only been exploring this desert for the past few days since I was taken by the strange light and just saw it after you won my heart." Menace explained and cuddled him more which made him blush of embarrassment.

"Although, I am picking up something strange about this door. Perhaps it could lead to something great." Setra chuckled with a pervert look and drooling a bit.

"Dude, keep those thoughts to yourself." Romeo weirded out of this guy.

"There must be something we can do, maybe find a key?" Leina guessed.

"That's a foolish plan, you maybe a strong warrior but you brain is still that of a child." Menace mocked.

"Well, I don't you coming up with any better ideas!" Leina angered.

"Menace, if you're going to be a part of this group then you need to start treating others a little nicer." Natsu scolded.

"Forgive me, my love, but I had some bad history with the two Vance sisters and that maybe hard to get over. But I will promise to work with them at least for you." Menace promised with a kiss on the cheek.

"Shall I add myself as the third." Lucy cracked her whip.

"Easy Lucy, let just focus on the lock." Leina said.

"Okay, give me some room you guys!" Natsu decided to open the lock by brute as he ignited his right fist into fire.

"Wait, Natsu!" Leina tried to stop him.

But it was too late as Natsu jumped at the weird floating lock and punch it with his Fire Dragon Iron Fist, using nearly his full power causing a shockwave around him and nearly blew away the others.

"You never listen!" Lucy yelled.

Then three seconds later, Natsu let out the most painful scream that can be heard a little over a mile away and is groaning in pain holding his red bruised hand.

"I'm sorry buddy, but your attack didn't even leave a mark." Happy said.

"Not even your mighty dragon strength could open it." Menace comforted Natsu.

"We should be graceful that nothing serious happened like a trap or something sprung on us." Claudette sighed.

"Seriously, you need to learn that not everything can be solve by destroying them." Lucy scolded.

"Hey now, as one of his women, you should at least be more supportive of him." Menace said.

"Wh-Wh-What?! One of his… where the fuck did you get that idea?" Lucy asked, gasp while blushing.

"A-A-And what did you mean by one of his women?" Leina asked while she, Elina, and Claudette are blushing a little. Michelle is the only one not blushing because she is busy trying to figure out how to open the door with Romeo.

"Oh, I thought King Natsu have made you girls his women when I saw you all together." Menace recalled the scene.

"Just because there are more girls than guys in this group doesn't mean any romantic involvement." Lucy pointed out as her four older sisters nodded.

"But that doesn't mean you want to bang them in bed." Setra whispered to Natsu's ears making him blush and earned a punch that sent the cat-ward flying toward the strange door structure.

"Oh, are you here to help us with the keyhole?" Michelle asked.

"Uh, keyhole, what are you talking about?" Setra asked.

"Right here." Romeo pointed at the small keyhole.

"Oh, so you need to unlock it. Perhaps I could give it a try, just give me some room." Setra extended his tail-like handle, making it thinner and started picking the lock.

"Wow, you're like a camping multi-tool." Romeo commented.

"Setra is the best servant a princess could ask for, besides wanting to go perverted on women, he always gets the job done." Menace bragged.

"That's pretty cool." Natsu impressed.

"Except for being a pervert part." Happy said.

"Okay, I think I… got it!" Setra cheered as he picked the lock, and it glows brightly

"Well done, Setra!" Menace hugged.

The door starts to turn like a wheel going round and around, and the ground beneath them starts to shake a little.

"Guy, I'm getting a really bad feeling about this." Lucy said.

Suddenly the whole group fell right into a hole that just appeared as they scream for their life.

(With Gray's Group)

"Okay, that mountain peak should be where to find the clock piece, right?" Nanael pointed at.

"Yes, this should be where the ruin is." Luvia remembered from Lucy's information.

"Okay, so do either of you two know where to start looking?" Gray asked hoping Juvia or even Lyon would have an answer.

"I'm afraid not." Lyon admitted immediately.

"Yeah, me too." Juvia said.

"Then why did you bother coming here at all?!" Gray yelled.

"Hey Nanael, I know you don't like being boss around, but could go on ahead and see if you can find something?" Gray asked the angel girl.

"I figured it would lead to that, I did promise Leina I would help you guys and so she wouldn't scold me for being lazy or whatever." Nanael shrugged ad flew ahead to the ruin.

"My image is what Angels are like is different when I first met her." Lyon said.

"Life is full of surprises, man." Gray stated as Lyon agreed.

Nanael flew over the rocky mountain peak searching around the area to find something or anything that would be a clue for the ancient ruin, though to her all the rocks here look the same and wonder if Lucy messed up the location until something caught her eyes.

"Oh, now that looks like something important." Nanael grinned.

Gray, Juvia, and Lyon are walking up the path to the rocky mountain peak as they see Nanael flying up to them.

"Hey, I think I found something that maybe connected to the ruin." Nanael informed before turning back.

"Okay, let's see it." Gray said as they follow her.

They arrive what appears to be a structure of some kind of giant rock creature with a yellow triangle at the bottom.

"So, what do you think?" Nanael asked.

"It looks like an entrance to me." Lyon stated.

"Then going in is our only option." Juvie said.

"I will not allow it!" The giant rock creature shouted as it comes out of the rocky wall, surprising the four.

"I forbid you scoundrels from entering!" The rock creature said.

"Looks like that's the guardian." Nanael scared a bit.

"And we'll have to fight our way through as well." Juvia said as she prepared herself to fight.

"Guess, so." Gray signed and got into his ice fighting stance as Lyon does the same. "Sorry, pal…"

"But we don't have time to play with you!" Lyon finished Gray's sentence.

Gray and Lyon unleash their ice magic to freeze the two rock fists that are coming at them, but for some reason nothing happened, and they quickly dodge the punches.

"Why didn't it work?" Gray confused.

"Our magic must not have any affect on it!" Lyon guessed.

"You shall not pass under my watchful eye!" The rock guardian shouted.

"It's nullifying their magic somehow." Juvia worried.

"Maybe I can try cutting it into pieces." Nanael summoned her magic sword.

"Hold on, I think I might have an idea. Keep it busy." Juvia said running to the left.

Nanael isn't sure what the water mage has in mind but the Angel warrior decided to go along with it and attack the rock guardian keeping it distracted for Juvia to unleash a water arrow attack right at the glowing eye of the rock guardian causing it to wince in pain.

"Whoa, so the eye was the weak point!" Nanael surprised.

"When he said, "under my watchful eye", I figured that had to be it." Juvia explained her theory.

"Look, the door is opening." Lyon alerted as the yellow door opened.

"Your brilliant plan worked, Juvy!" Lyon praised to the water girl.

"Uh, please don't ever call me that again." Juvia flustered and weirded out from the compliment.

"How sad do you think he'll be if he found out Juvia's heart is already spoken for?" Nanael whispered to Gray.

"Probably ice shattered and all but let just go inside already." Gray said.

The four friends enter the entrance and inside is a giant stone and wooden structure along with some floating blocks around the room as well.

"These are the ruins of a church…" Lyon surprised.

"I didn't think churches would go for the rock-hard places." Nananel commented, seeing the churches of this world might be different than Gaino.

"Hey look, isn't that Zentopia's emblem?" Gray pointed at the structure.

"What are those floating rock cubes?" Juvia wondered.

"Maybe they're for decorations?" Nanael guessed.

"They have strange markings on every side of them." Lyon noticed that as well.

"If you take a look at them, the marking appears to be arrows." Nanael said floating next to one closely.

"Arrows, huh?" Lyon looked at the other floating rocks curiously.

"I think we're gonna have a better chance of this if we split up." Gray suggested.

"Hold on a minute, Gray." Nanael said and flew to the emblem getting a closer inspection.

"You found something?" Gray asked.

"Yeah, I think this emblem is wrong. It's not the right shape." Nanael informed.

"Hmm, she is right. The outside part is supposed to be a diamond shape." Juvia remembered the Zentopia.

"Yeah, you're right." Gray started to see that.

"And maybe…" Juvia moved one block using her magic and placed it inside one of the squares.

"And that does what?" Gray asked.

"If we move the rocks like this…" Juvia started to explain a little.

"We might be able to open the door!" Lyon quickly caught on moving another rock into a square.

"Cool! Let me try!" Nanael channeled her angel magic to one block.

"Oh, I get it now!" Gray realized what they are doing and move one block with his magic.

"Well, it certainly took you long enough, dimwit." Lyon insulted.

All four rocks are inside the square as Nanael check to see if each of them is pointing in the direction they want them to go, she smiles at gave the others a thumb up.

"Good, now let's try applying our power to all four of the arrows at once." Lyon said.

All four friends channel their magic into the blocks which makes the arrow glows brightly, but nothing happened so far.

"What's wrong, nothing happens." Juvia worried.

"Give it a second." Lyon said.

"He's right, sometimes these sorts of things take a moment." Nanael nodded.

And soon enough, the square of the emblem turns into a diamond shape correcting the Zentopia emblem.

"It worked! And it's all thanks to you, Juvia!" Gray smirked.

"Oh, thank you! Juvia promise to do her very best!" Juvia excited.

"Well, of course, who else would solve the puzzle but you, Juvy!" Lyon complimented.

"It was only a gut feeling and-Wait, didn't Juvia tell you not to call me that again!" Juvia yelled a little.

"Oh no, has my compliment have not been polite enough? In that case…" Lyon leaned closer to Juvia.

"Miss Juvy!" Lyon said.

"That's not any better!" Juvia creeped out a bit.

"This guy doesn't know when to get a hint." Nanael deadpanned.

"Yeah, guess you could say he's an idiot of love." Gray exclaimed.

"I wonder if we might have also triggered something?" Nanael asked.

Then the emblem starts to glow bright golden light nearly blinding the four as they cover their eyes.

"Is this light or magic power?" Lyon asked.

"It's so bright." Juvia wondered what's going on.

"You just had to say something?" Gray glared at Nanael.

"Hey, it was a harmless question!" Nanael yelled.

Before they knew it, the light grew brighter consuming the entire room for a moment until it dies down and the four friends are nowhere to be seen as they have been teleported elsewhere.

Nanael groans a little from how bright the light was and slowly open one eye to see that it has stopped and look around seeing where are no longer in the ruin room anymore.

"Whoa, freaky!" Nanael surprised seeing the giant dark green space around.

"Where are we, Gray?" Juvia asked.

"I dunno, I'm not even sure how we ended up in this place." Gray said.

"It would appear that this giant structure is intended to be used for teleportation." Lyon figured out.

"Hey look, it's those floating arrow rocks like before." Nanael pointed at one of them.

"There's so many of them, far more than last time. Are we supposed to pass through those gate things somehow?" Juvia wondered.

"Hmm, they definitely look like something important." Nanael said.

"I'd bet the clock piece we're looking for is at the end of them." Lyon believed.

"Maybe we can use those rocks to make a path." Gray followed Lyon's led to use his magic on the rocks.

"Guess there's nothing better to do then to move forward." Nanael shrugged.

"But I'd still love to get my hands on whoever thought up all this elaborate nonsense." Gray said, not liking how they were taken by the bright light and brought to this weird place.

"Hot dog!" A familiar voice shouted.

Everyone looks up seeing a man standing on top of one floating gate thing, a man both Nanael and Gray know while Juvia and Lyon never seen him before.

"It's that disco weirdo!" Nanael surprised to see him here.

"Sugarboy!" Gray shocked.

"You know it, the one and only!" Sugarboy chuckled.

"I knew I could get to the church on time, but I'll you what, getting in was a whole other story altogether. But I'm not one for crying in the chapel, baby." Sugarboy strike a groovy pose.

"Thanks for getting me in; you may be shabby wizards, but you sure helped me out!" Sugarboy bragged.

"I take it he's the enemy?" Lyon asked.

"Yeah, and be careful. He may look like an idiot, but he got a weird magic power that can trap you in." Nanael warned.

"Sneaky bastard! You followed us in here, didn't you?" Gray asked angry.

"Oh, come on, don't be cruel, baby. After all, I was just doing my job!" Sugarboy proclaimed.

"I've got no use for you now that I'm in Zentopia's territory. That clock piece is as good as mine." Sugarboy smirked.

"No, we won't let that happen!" Juvia prepared herself to fight.

"Spicy! What a hard-hearted woman!" Sugarboy commented.

"How about I put on a little show for you folks? Ya'll ready? Gonna be some good rockin' tonight!" Sugarboy unleashed his Dog Whistle magic goo at a fast rate.

"No, you don't!" Nanael summoned her sword and sliced the goo into pieces.

"Ha, did you forget that my sword and cut through you slime like paper?" Nanael asked sarcastically with a smirk.

"You might as well give up and-HEY!" Nanael snapped when she sees Sugarboy running away while making a path with the floating arrow rocks.

"Sorry, little sugar angel, but I got a schedule to maintain. Sugarboy's leaving the building!" Sugarboy said.

"Why that creep! How dare he!" Nanael angered.

"Come on, we can't let him get away!" Gray charged after Sugarboy with the others following as this has now turned into a race for the clock piece.
