I know most of you will be reading and thinking damn... my ship didn't win. Besides those who wanted a gay ship because that barely won. Not gonna lie I wanted Chase x Everest to win because it's a personal favorite but Chase x Skye completely stomped on it. I used to completely despise chase x Skye but now it's tolerable. VALENTINES DANCE
The males of the Paw Patrol were outside laying in the shade. Nothing like laying down after a long game of tug o war.
They all had the same thought on their mind. "So when is Valentine's Day?" Marshall shouted out.
"In 2 days..." Rocky replied.
"I know you've been planning on asking Skyyyye" Rubble teased.
"Me? What! I would never!" Chase replied defending himself.
Marshall joined in. "Chase has a little crush on her."
"Oh so like I haven't noticed you and Everest eyeing each other." Chase said trying to make the pups get onto his side.
"Yeah so... I'm planning on asking her on out Valentine's Day."
"Imagine he gets rejected." Rocky said causing them to chuckle a bit.
Marshall started to second guess himself. "Nah I doubt it." He semi lied. As much as he tried pushing that thought out it was glued to his head.
"I don't need any girls, too much work. AmIRight boys?" Rubble said looking at the silent Rocky and Zuma who shook their head.
"Why are you both so quiet?" Chase asked.
They looked at each other then looked at chase and shrugged.
"I know Chases plan failed, he tried to turn you guys on me but I'm too smart. Hence why I'm a better boyfriend than-"
"— if she even says yes." Rubble interrupted.
"I was going to say better boyfriend than Chase."
"I'm smarter than you." Rocky said
"Shh you're not part of this." Marshall said.
"Is that so? What if muggers come by and jump you and kidnap Everest? No girlfriend now." Chase said.
"What are you trying to say?" Marshall asked
"Expect the UNEXPECTED!" Chase said lunging at Marshall tackling him laughing as they went. Tumbled on the floor
It didn't last for long because Rubble hopped onto Chases back. Chase struggled to stand but he barely managed.
Marshall was up already and swept Chase's leg out from under him causing Rubble and Chase to hit the ground. Soon Zuma joined in and Rocky watched them wrestle.
Inside the lookout
From inside the lookout Skye and Everest watched the four pups roll around the grass.
"Do you think Marshall will ask you out on valentines?" Skye said hearing the doorbell ring.
"Maybe." Everest shrugged going to the door.
"Pups! Tuck and Ella are here!" Ryder called from the living room.
Skye and Everest made their way to the living room.
"Where are the other pups?" Ryder asked
"Out side wrestling."
"Wrestling?" Tuck asked.
He loved his time at the lookout or with the pups. He was the only male dog on his block and never got to play. Roughhousing wasn't a thing he gets to do much.
"Sorry." He said walking through them and heading to the backyard to join them
"We still have Tracker, Sylvia, and maybe the princess to arrive. Oh and Katie." Ryder said.
"I thought the party was inside the hall." Skye said
"It is but I want to give you guys time to enjoy yourselves." Ryder smiled.
"I'll be upstairs." Ryder said leaving the 3 to talk.
"Hey Ella, you've met Everest before right?" Skye asked
"No..."
"I'm Everest."
"I'm Ella."
"What do you guys do when you're bored?" Ella asked
"Talk, play, watch TV, and maybe a rescue here and there." Skye said
"Oh, okay." Ella replied looking around the lookout.
"So are you two excited for Valentines?" Ella said.
"Yeah." Everest replied
"The party is going to be awesome. The food, candy drinks. I can taste it already." Ella said dreaming of the sweets.
Skye found it odd. She had never seen a pup with such an appet-never mind rubble is also like that.
"So, do you have anyone in mind?" Skye asked walking to a beanbag chair.
"No, I still want to be single for now. Dedication isn't really my thing. Why? do you two want to be asked out?" Ella asked
"I know Skye does." Everest said. She wanted to mess around with Skye but she could be a bit much sometimes. She wanted to take her chance. "I think he likes Sylvia more though, it doesn't help she's coming over also." Everest joked.
"Very funny." Skye said not amused at all.
"Do you see how they play? He's always competitive." Everest said trying to drag it on.
"Because they're rivals. Plus the addition of the duo herding competition." Skye replied. She didn't let it get to her.
"I'm joking no need to get mad." Everest said
"I don't think she was mad at all." Ella said.
"Well I tried." Everest replied.
Tracker zoomed past them from behind with Chase and Marshall right on his tail. Tuck and Zuma were behind them.
"Hey Ella!" Zuma said as he ran by.
"When did Tracker arrive?" Skye asked in confusion.
Tracker ran outside past the glass door closing it on his way out to stall them.
Marshall didn't notice because Chase blocked his vision.
Chase stopped at the door and saw Marshall sprinting full speed at him.
"Marshall the door is clo!" Chase stopped bracing for impact.
Chase opened his eyes to see Marshall stopped dead in his tracks.
Marshall had a cocky impression on his face "Crisis avoi-"
"WATCH OOOUT!" Tuck and Zuma yelled before hitting Marshall and Chase causing all four of them to crash through the perfectly good glass door.
"Ooooh." Everest said
They all groan while getting to their feet.
"Ow that hurts." Marshall said not moving a muscle.
"I'm the one who got squished between the glass and you three." Chase replied to the complaints Marshall made.
"The door broke, you and Tuck didn't break." Marshall replied.
"So what do we do? Just stand here and wait for someone to pick up the glass?" Tuck questioned.
"Ouch!" Marshall exclaimed getting a small piece of glass in his foot.
"I'm jumping onto the concrete path." Chase said preparing himself to jump.
"I wanna shake but I'm gonna send glass everywhere." Tuck said
A thud was heard. They looked in Chase's direction and saw him shaking himself off. "I'll go get a broom." Chase said
"Did you just throw your body on the floor?" Tuck asked.
Chase was already gone.
"You guys awe in quite a pickle." Zuma said who was already free.
"I think if I step where you stepped I should be good." Tuck said slowly moving his paws over to the safe outline of Zuma's paws. It gave Marshall hope to so he waited to take his spot.
After Ryder found out, he wasn't stoked they had a broke his door. This wasn't the first time it happened. When the pups were out they had a break in. Ryder gave Robo dog a job which was rarely used. Clean and replace the old door. They caught the robber 3 days later robbing porters restaurant.
"Where's Tracker?" Rocky asked
"Hehe, they'll never find me."
"I'm not sure..." Chase replied.
They all looked at him. "Really?" Skye asked
"What did I do?"
"You really don't know do you." Marshall said pawing his face.
"Find him!" Rubble and Zuma exclaimed.
"Okay but you don't have to make it a guessing game." Chase replies as he walks out.
"Well then, Ella is here!" Skye said presenting her to the rest.
"Dang I thought Tuck just showed up on his own." Marshall joked pointing out the obvious.
"Ha! I still can't believe Sweetie is coming." Rubble sighed.
"It does suck, maybe she's changed." Zuma said trying to be optimistic.
"I doubt that." Rocky said
"What, it's been almost 9 months." Zuma added.
"You have a point." Rocky said giving him an unnecessary shove.
Zuma didn't mind it but some of the pups thought it was odd. Course they didn't express it because he didn't want to put them on the spot.
Chase and Tracker walked through the front door. This time with Sylvia.
"We're back! with Sylvia!" Chase exclaimed.
Everest noticed Sylvia's body language was a lot more stiff. Her tail was down and her eyes were quickly scanning the room.
"I'm pretty sure most of you know Sylvia. I beat her last year." Chase said in a friendly manner causing Sylvia to loosen a bit.
"Course we know." Rocky said. "Only ones who don't know is Tracker and Everest." He added.
"I was there dummy." Everest said giving Rocky a look.
Rocky searched for a comeback. "I got a lot on my mind. I doubt you would know." He said
Everest was going to continue but the twins interrupted them.
"We don't know her."
"Oh, well those are the twins Tuck and Ella and you've met Tracker right now and that's Everest." Chase said explaining the newest member.
"There is quite a few of us now." Marshall said looking around the room.
"So should we play big tug of war?" Rubble asked.
They all agreed with Rubble exiting first and Zuma exiting last.
The 10 pups got on random sides and picked up the rope. They really didn't have a start so when one pup started to pull they all pulled.
Each side seemed evenly matched but Skye and tracker had difficulty keeping their feet on the ground when the people around them are taller. Which left Chase, Marshall, and Zuma to do most of the pulling.
But just as any good lasting thing, it must fall. Marshall fell and knocked over Chase causing him to let go. Zuma held on for dear life. The other team slipped yanking the rope and dragging Zuma across grass.
"Sorry" Marshall said to Chase.
"I didn't think we were gonna win even if you stayed up." Chase replied.
Zuma got up and spat out grass. "Disgusting." He mumbled to himself.
Marshall went to go see if anyone was hurt. First person he went towards was obvious.
"He didn't even check on us" Tracker said
"Your English is a lot better." Chase complimented.
"Gracias"
"We started slipping." Skye said
"Both of you?"
They both nodded
"No wonder it felt extra hard." Chase said
"You okay?" Marshall said to Everest.
"Yeah I'm fine, I was in the front. Might want to check in whoever was behind Rubble." Everest said.
Marshall let out a chuckle.
He walked down and wondered where Rocky was. "Rocky is already with Zuma my guy." Tuck said.
Marshall saw the two already talking.
"I think they might be gay..." Marshall said
"Nah really good friends" Tuck said
"Wanna bet?" Marshall asked
"I'm good. You can go hang with Everest." Tuck said with a horrible wink.
"You suck at winking." Marshall said walking away.
Skye managed to drag Chase away for once.
"I feel like we should make sure everyone is fine. Ya know since we're the bridge between the separate... units? I don't know what to call their special jobs. Snow unit, jungle unit so on ya know." Chase said
"They can go a couple minutes without us." Skye said
She spoke a little too soon.
Sylvia jumped in between both of them.
"That was fun! Almost as fun as sheep herding." She said hanging onto Chase and Skye.
"Yeah, maybe even the teams a little more. Two of my teammates couldn't touch the floor." Chase said
"Maybe we should." Sylvia agreed.
"You're a lot more chatty now." Skye said
"I was nervous at first meeting the entire team. There's quite a lot of you guys." Sylvia replied.
"Everyone seemed to have split up." Sylvia said.
"I guess they have." Chase replied looking at the groups of pups.
Skye was a bit ticked off Sylvia ruined her chance to talk to chase. "I'll just try again later" she though to herself.
"Looks like Zuma and Rocky are enjoying themselves." Marshall said watching the two wrestle.
"I'm starting to think they're gay." Everest said
"That's what I said!" Marshall said
"Skye doesn't seem be as lucky." Everest said looking at Chase and Sylvia talk in front of her.
"She likes Chase?" Marshall said
"Yeah."
"I didn't know, she's pretty good at hiding it." Marshall said
"Im surprised Ryder is allowing everyone to sleep here." Everest added.
"Yeah..." Marshall agreed.
The next day
"Oh boy I got quite the breakfast." Ryder said running down stairs. He looked at the clock and saw that it read 6:43. "30 ish minutes I got this."He tossed on his apron and headed downstairs.
When he reached the bottom it was a whole nother ball game.
He stepped between each heavily sleeping pup. Mainly from the movie marathon they watched. Someone important was missing, more like 3. Marshall, Everest, and Chase.
"What are you doing?" Chase whispered to Ryder.
Ryder let out a silent gasp. "Jeez how about a heads up next time. Almost gave me a heart attack."
"Sorry sir." Chase whispered
"Can we take this to the back, I'm gonna use the grill for breakfast." Ryder said
Once they were in the back they used slightly higher tones.
"So, why are you awake? I thought you guys watched movies all night." Ryder asked
"They did, I fell asleep. I've been trying to find Marshall and Everest but turns out they went on a little adventure in adventure bay. I don't know where though." Chase said.
"Well since you're awake go get me some of the steak and seasonings." Ryder said
"Steak? In the morning?" Chase asked
"Why not, special days of love require special food." Ryder said.
"I guess." Chase said going to go fetch the needed items.
He noticed Rocky and Zuma incredibly close together. "Huh, that's new..."
Chase walked out and tried to find a place to put it without letting it touch the grass.
"You're a dog, I don't think the taste will change." Ryder said
"Oh well." Chase said running over the beach side of the lookout to see if he can spot the two love birds.
To his surprise he could barely make out two figures. What sold it was one of the figures seemed to have fallen. "Oh... hey Ryder I can see them in the beach!" Chase said sprinting back. Not once in a million years did he think that would happen. Although there's a chance it could've been some random dogs but he took it anyways.
Everest heard a thud. She looked over too some bushes she saw the top half of a very familiar German Shepherd wearing a black helmet.
Marshall noticed the face as well an they both rush over.
As they're sprinting to the bushes a bright blue light flashes where the shepherd is. "Chase!... Chase?" Everest said in confusion.
She looked around to try and find him but he was no where to be found. "He probably ran." Marshall said.
"Whatever, I'll ask him at the lookout." Everest said clinching her paw.
"It was peaceful out here." Everest said in annoyance.
"And cold." Marshall shivered.
"Maybe we should get going back to the lookout." Everest suggested
"Race ya!" Marshall challenged.
It didn't last long because the first step he took was a fail.
"I'm okay!" Marshall said getting back up.
Everest chuckled a little bit. The clumsiness was funny for now.
Marshall shook off the sand. "Okay I'm ready!" Marshall said getting into a running position.
Everest took off without a warning and had the early lead.
At the end of the bridge they saw Chase running around the lookout with Sylvia and Zuma playing what seems to be tag.
Chase noticed them and ran over. "How was you're beach stay?"
"I know you're protective and stuff but you need to relax. You're basically stalking us." Everest said "like really? The bushes!" Everest basically yelled.
"I saw you two from up here, I wasn't in any bushes." He replied in a low saddened tone.
Chase didn't know what to say after that. He opened his mouth but nothing came out. "You're right though ." Chase mumbled before hanging his head and asked walking away to think about what he did.
"Wow, I've never seen him like that." Marshall said.
Everest felt accomplished. Maybe she could be the new one to boss everyone around. "Just talk to them ya know."
"I guess, hopefully he didn't take it to hard" Marshall said.
Everest hoped he did. It would finally teach him to give people space.
"Hey Zuma!" Rocky said walking up to him leaving Sylvia to go socialize.
"Hey Wocky. Wanna play with us?" Zuma asked
"No, although I like it when say wocky. It's funny to hear." Rocky said
"Okay dude no need to be mean about it." Zuma said
"Oh... sorry." Rocky apologized quickly.
"Nah I was kidding." Zuma laughed while Rocky looked at him with an annoyed face.
Ryder wiped off his head and sat on the ground with Rubble. "Are you finally done?"
"Yeah. You guys have to eat from the grass, our table isn't big enough." Ryder said.
"Meat is meat." Rubble said rubbing his belly.
"Pups breakfast is ready!" Ryder called out and instantly the pups flooded in.
Ryder put on a latex gloves and picking up each stake and tossing one to each pup. Some missed and some caught it. Skye and Tracker weren't even gonna try it.
Ryder saw it hit chase on the head and almost bursted out laughing. "You *pause* you okay?" He spat out.
"Yeah I was just zoned out sir." Chase smiled.
"Okay."
Everyone chowed ate their steaks surprisingly fast.
Everyone finished and thanked Ryder as they walked away.
Everest noticed a hint of annoyance in Skye. Her posture and death stare towards Sylvia really said it.
"Skye you okay?" Everest asked.
"I simply don't think Sylvia will get away from Chase, this morning was the third time it got ruined." Skye said
"Well then talk to her. Say what comes to your head and let her know." Everest said
Skye was filled with hope. "Really? How do you know it'll work."
"Ive done it and it worked." Everest said thinking about her recent accomplishments. "Also when you see Chase he might be a lil bummed out." She added.
"Why?"
"I just have that feeling." Everest lied knowing the exact reason. "Tell him I'm partly sorry." She added
"Well I'll be back." Skye said getting up and walking towards Sylvia.
Everest couldn't bare to watch. She went away from what was about to happen. Most of the things she said were half hearted. She hoped it worked because if it doesn't Skye's trust for her would instantly drop.
"Hey Sylvia, I wanted to talk to you about Chase." Skye said walking up to her.
"Go for it." Sylvia said watching Rocky, Zuma and Tracker chase the ball around the yard.
Skye took a deep breath. "Do you see Chase as something greater than a friend?"
"Like a boyfriend?" She asked
"Y-yeah."
"No, do you?..." Sylvia asked.
Then Sylvia realized why her and Chase were always talking. "I've been getting in the way have I."
"So is that a no?" Skye asked
"Yeah, I'm already seeing someone else." Sylvia chuckled uncomfortably. She didn't like mentioning her dating life.
"Oh, wow. I really thought this was gonna be worse." Skye admits.
"I can probably hang with someone else. I haven't seen Chase though." Sylvia said
Skye thanked Sylvia and went to go search for the Shepherd.
12 paws stomped against the ground as 3 pups chased a ball. Zuma happened to be first. Ryder watched them race each other. He watched them turn into some bushes.
"WHOOAAHAHHHHHH" Zuma yelled before falling into a ditch. Rocky followed him down. Tracker heard Zuma's cry before the turn so he slowed down.
Zuma and Rocky ended up breathing distance away from each other. They had the urge to move but something told them not to.
"Are you guys okay?" Tracker called trying to find his way through the bushes. Zuma and Rocky rushed off each other and walked back up to meet tracker.
"Oh boy Rubble needs to patch that up." Rocky nervously chuckled.
"Yeah dude, could've been bad." Zuma sighed a fake sigh of relief.
"Well I got the ball!" Tracker said.
"We should play a game where whoever gets the ball gets to put it in the ball launcher." Rocky suggested.
"I wanna do some mowe of this fiwrst then that." Zuma said
They brought the ball back to Ryder. "Maybe whoever gets the ball is safe. Each round the person who doesn't get it gets eliminated." Tracker said upgrading Rocky's idea which they liked.
Skye saw Chase moving a blue ball with his logo on it. He wasn't in a normal posture, more slouched if anything. She watched as he went in a circle with it like a mindless zombie.
"Hey Chaaase." Skye said
"Hey Skye!" Chase replied letting the ball roll away.
Skye watched it go on its journey. "Whattaya doing?"
"Thinking."
"About what?"
"Some things..."
"What such things?" Skye asked
Chase thought about it. If he's going to ask her out on Valentine's Day might as well try being open. "Am I a good leader? Like the things I do."
Skye was caught of guard. She never expected him to doubt his leader ship. "For the most part. You can be a little nosey and make us do unnecessary stuff." She admitted.
"Oh..." Chase replied softly
"Doesn't mean you're a bad leader. You could work on some things." Skye suggested
"Everest also said she was sorry." Skye added
"For what?" Chase said.
Skye noticed his posture rise. "Guess I did something right." She thought to herself.
"Chase! Skye! We're gonna play a game!" Everest called out.
They looked at each other quickly. "Race ya!" Chase challenged.
"You know the outcome but might as well." Skye shrugged taking off unexpectedly.
"Oh Katie you're here!"
The day after the next day which is Valentine's Day.
The males of the paw patrol walked out of the dressing rooms in their tuxedos and matching colored bow ties. They looked to Ryder for his input.
"You guys looking fly." Ryder complimented.
"How did you wear this?" Rocky asked scratching himself.
"You have it inside out." Zuma laughed.
Rocky rushed back inside in embarrassment. The others laughed. "Good laugh before something special is always needed." Tuck said
"Oh boy there are a lot of us. Even when we aren't all here." Chase said looking at 6 other pups.
"Yeah there is a terrible male to female ratio. You guys almost double the girls." Ryder said
"Because the boys stay on top." Rubble said
"Guess we should get going. I'm pretty sure the girls are still getting ready." Marshall said trying not to sound weird.
They all walked out of the shop. "Oh and some of you will be needing these." Ryder said pulling out 5 bouquets of flowers.
"I know some you have bold plans." Ryder said looking to Chase and Marshall who were talking. "I notice you both. And You two as well." He said turning his head to Zuma and Rocky.
They all took one held it with their mouths till they got to the car. "What's the extra for?" Rubble asked
"I have plans of my own too." Ryder said
"Is it Katie?" Zuma asked
"The princess?"
"No it's Katie." Ryder said
"So many thing to watch!" Tracker said.
"Jake and Carlos might get here a bit late. And the princess couldn't make it so... yeah." Ryder said.
"I forgot I was even here." Tracker said
"if anyone attempts on asking Ella out I'm giving you a black eye." Tuck threatened.
"Got it." Rubble and tracker replied.
The pups and Ryder waited as people and dogs walked by with their dates. Some even asked for pictures. Chase did get some very noticeable looks from boyfriends when their "girl" asked for a photo.
Ryder and the pups watched as Katie's car pulled up.
"Finaally!" Rubble groaned.
They watched as the girls walked out with color coded flowers. Skye had her tufts of hair at the top of her head curled a bit.
"I really thought it would've been a dramatic change." Marshall said
"Yeah... at least the flower adds something." Chase said
They picked up their bouquets and quickly realized that they had the wrong ones.
"Give me that one!" Marshall said dropping Chase's pink one. Chase dropped the teal flowered one to get back at him before picking up the pink flowered one.
The girls giggled at their admirable tries at romance.
Marshall had a perfect plan to embarrass either Chase or himself. "I believe this is for you m'lady." Marshall said like a knight.
"Why thank you my knight in wooden armor." Everest said going along with it.
Chase looked at Marshall's rapid success. "He was really comfortable doing that." He thought to himself.
Chase nervously looked at Skye who was looking at him with the same look. "I brought these for you. The presentation wasn't as... flashy." Chase nervously chuckled hoping she would take them.
"You know, it's the thought that counts. Plus I know one way to out do them." Skye said with bright a smile.
"We'll see." Chase said
Zuma and Rocky tossed their bouquets into the bushes before walking into the huge ball room.
The pups looked around in amazement. They had never seen anything like it.
"Over here." Skye said dragging Chase through the crowd.
"Write our initials on it." Skye said
"I can't write." Chase said blankly.
"Right, neither of us can."
After they got someone to write "Chase and Skye" they walked to a wall.
"This is for the humans. Dogs are over here." Skye said showing Chase a wall shaped like a long triangle. "The highest couple is the best couple. To me, Plus everyone will see us at the top." Skye smiled
Chase looked at the wall that seemed to go forever. "So you're gonna stand on my back?"
"That's the plus to me being small." Skye said picking up the bouquet.
Chase lowered himself and let Skye jump on. He glanced up as much as he can and saw that they were barely anywhere. He had a risky idea. "Get near my head." Chase said
Skye inched as far as she could.
She felt herself rise almost double where she was. "Good thinking." Skye complimented.
She went onto her hind legs and placed the bouquet higher than every other one.
As Chase lowered he could feel Skye's feet loose balance.
Chase guess a random direction to turn his back for a landing.
He felt his back get heavier and let a out a huge sigh of relief.
"That was close!" Skye said looking at her surroundings in surprise.
"I know." He replied.
"I don't think anyone is beating that." Chase said looking at the height of their flowers.
"Nope, I think everyone here will know who we are." Skye said nudging Chase.
"C'monnn that doesn't deserve a kiss?" Chase asked in disappointment. "Really? Now you definitely don't get a kiss."
Chase nudged her back and they walking into the crowd to see where they end up.
Everest and Marshall laughed as they watched the TV played cringe one liners. "I have an idea." Marshall said
"Shoot it." Everest replied.
"Let's go see how much sugar we can consume." Marshall said
"I'm down."
They both ran across the ball room to find where the sweets were.
When they found the table Rubble, Tuck and Ella were already eating them all.
"There goes that idea." Everest sighed.
"Yeah! The music is getting kinda loud!" Marshall yelled
"It is!"
The song stopped and turned into a slow dance song. Marshall internally prepared himself. "May I take this dance?" He asked
"Sure but I swear if we fall I'm gonna hit you." Everest chuckled.
"Deal." Marshall said trying to find the dance floor.
When they got there they instantly saw Ryder and Katie rocking back an forth.
Ryder caught glimpse of them and threw up a thumbs up.
"He's having a good time." Marshall said
"Yep."
"Mhhh, can't really slow dance as a dog can we." Marshall said
"Nope."
The music changed to an upbeat song from a very common game they play. Pup pup boogie.
"You know this right?" Marshall said knowing the moves decently from heart.
"All I play back at the cabin." Everest smiled.
"This has a tail spin doesn't it." Marshall said remembering that part.
"Yep." Everest said shuffling her front paws.
They noticed Chase and Skye doing the same. Chase was clearly having a hard time. He slowly repeated Skyes speedy steps.
"C'mon!" Everest said dragging Marshall to them.
"Oh hello you two." Chase said getting the rhythm of the moves.
Marshall noticed Skye and Everest picking up their pace as the tempo picked up.
Marshall would've done the same with Chase but it was clear he would win.
The beat dropped and 3 of the 4 pups tail spun. Skye and Everest landed it smoothly. As for Marshall, he was headed right for Chase.

Chase and Marshall slid across the slippery laminated floor. "Sorry." Marshall apologized.
Chase got up and helped him up. "No need to be."
They walked back to Skye and Everest who were dancing. "Look who's back from the floor." Everest said.
"We should see who could tail spin the longest." Skye challenged.
"We'll watch." Marshall said not wanting another accident.
Skye and Everest looked at each other with determination. They got the song beat and started the sequence of moves.
The DJ noticed the two spinning, jumping and tapping their paws rapidly. He focused moving spotlights onto them raising the stakes. The crowd gave them a good distance to move. Chase and Marshall watched and chanted their new lovers names.
Skye and Everest both jumped and started to spin on their tails.
After a good amount of time they both spun out of control. The crowd let out gasp all at once. Chase and Marshall were the first to go try and stop them.
All at once Skye rolled into Marshall's arms and Everest rolled into Chases arms. The two best friends looked at each other before Marshall hinted to the laminated floor. Chase got the picture.
"Do you trust me?" They asked to the girls in their hands.
"I'm not su- wooaaAAAAH" they both shrieked as Marshall and Chase slid them across the slippery floor.
They landed in the right hands and both kissed their partners.
The crowd clapped and cheered as the amazing performance. "I wanna add that this was not staged. That's how you know you and your homie are homies. You can coordinate something like that!" The DJ said through the microphone.
The four got back together and shared some hugs of relief and laughs. "I really thought Chase was gonna kiss me for a second." Everest said.
"I would never." Chase replied.
"That was clever." Skye said looking a the two who were sharing a long look of "yeah I'm a badass"
"Dude that was cool! Me and you slid them across after catching them and I don't know what to say besides it was cool!" Marshall said trying to find the words.
"It was pretty cool." Chase said trying to hide his excitement.
"Hey you four, that was impressive. I got it on camera as well." Ryder said
"Really!" Marshall exclaimed.
"Yep, we'll view it back at the lookout." Ryder smiled. "I gotta go attend some things." He winked before walking back to the dance floor.
"I need to use the restroom." Chase said headed for the exit.
"Guess I'll go too." Marshall said catching up to Chase.
"So how's you and Skye going." Marshall asked
Chase looked to their bouquet as one couple got close to it. Theirs is still up top untouched.
"Besides our awesome performance it's pretty good."
"Cool." Marshall said.
They exited the building and the sound instantly muffled.
Chase went right and Marshall went left.
Chase heard yell that could pop someone's eardrums. Chase ran over to see Marshall facing Rocky and Zuma frozen in the position of a full make out session. If Marshall didn't appear things could've gotten...dirtier.
"We'll leave you too it." Marshall said said pushing Chase away.
"So... wanna not speak about this?"
Chase nodded with with no words.
They opened the door and entered. Preparing for the rest of the best night of their life.
Holy shit I'm done. Sprained finger stopped me for a bit but everything is all good. This was really long which means there might be errors. I'll try to catch them all. Spotify carried me through these tiring nights. Since it's a new year I'll probably reuse some old ships because those were last year. You'll be seeing this 16 days from now
