Several days later Max and the crew arrive in São Paulo, a rough city of Brazil. Max getting a new apartment. Or least in this universe it's exceptionally dangerous. Max's new apartment at firs appears clean and somewhat new when Max first walks in. Like his Jersey apartment its split into three sections, fully stocked kitchen, small living area with TV, couch, a table with two chairs and a large coffee table, along with a small bedroom across from an even smaller bathroom. The longer he stays the apartment becomes extremely filthy, with ash trays, empty bottles and boxes, random trash scattered across the table and floor and a gun on said table. The room is actually very empty looking though, and all the others have almost identical rooms, but far cleaner, espically the one Seras and Carly share. Michael and Trevor have to share the other one, the place only had three rooms and Max had dibs on the single person one. He paid for most of it anyway, being a lot richer than he appears.

By the next day they are already assigned to a new mission, Max only bringing Michael this time, who leaves the girls to watch over Trevor, makes sure he behaves and doesn't make unnecessary enemies.

"Why the cop though!?" Trevor groaned.

"So you don't turn your room into a meth lab." Seras said, Trevor just flips her off annoyedly, Seras smirks back, more amused than anything.

Michael is seen coming out of the bathroom where he changed into his blue suit with the white undershirt. Part of the reason Michael was requested is that he already has suits to use. Michael hugs Carly good bye who wishes him good luck. Michael goes to meet Max who has the same grey suit Michael can wear, except with brown shoes, and Max having messy black hair and a long messy beard. Max doesn't really take care of himself in that way. Michael grabbing his M1911 and holsters it under his suit, giving Max his M1911 two, who does the same.

We now see Townley and Max in a large pent house, protecting the Bronte's during a fundraising party with many rich people and celebrities as well. Max was drinking as he looked upon the view of Sao Paulo. Max and Passos talk about the party discussing the people in the party before joining with his girlfriend, Giovanna. The sister of Rodrigo's trophy wife Fabiana.

Max observes the party to see the other Branco family members, Fabiana, Rodrigo's blonde trophy gold-digging wife who party's with Rodrigo's younger brother, Marcelo, who is party animal and kind of an idiot. Victor, a local politician, comes into the party and talks with Becker, head of the dirty police force, UFE. And both left the party as soon as they'd came in.

Michael goes to greet Max shortly after Passos left, holding a beer bottle.

"Man, I thought I was rich.. Nice party these people have."

"You robbed then Union place, I know can afford these places.. Anyway remember why we're here, we're watching Rodrigo." Max replied.

Michael insists it'll be fine, only for it to be a jinx, as almost immediately after a gang of African gangsters come in from the elevator wearing ski masks and bandana's. Shooting a nearby security guard and rant loudly in the local language, making they're presence as dramatic and public as possible as one of them leaps on a table, firing off a shotgun to scare all the guests into getting down. With that they grab Fabiana and Rodrigo, Michael, without thinking, grabs for his gun only for one of the gangsters to whack him in the face, breaking his nose as Michael falls down onto his knees, swearing angrily, though saying so in English, so it's ultimately pointless given the language barrier. For some reason they left him his pistol though. Probably didn't think to take it during the speed of everything.

Once getting there hostages, the intruders leave. But Max and Passos follow.

"Passos. The hell was that!?" Max cried.

"I don't know what the fuck that was but we gotta go get them." Passos said.

"I'll handle it, you fix Michael." Max said, pulling out his M1911.

"Be safe Max." Passos replied.

Max: It wasn't my own safety I was concerned with. Trophy Wife or not, I said I would protect the girl.

The Commondro Sombra should of killed Michael when they had the chance.. The two of them took down all the Anthony DeMarco missions (Carly and Seras only showing up around the church part), and they proved to be a two man army together.. As well as proving to be Max's best friend, despite the rough start. Many of their dialogue involves sarcasm battles..
