It had been a tough fortnight,

Herah Adaar's workload was high due to the high demand of inquisitions required from the quartermaster, she found out that her Dalish Allbred horse Delilah was sick (abscessed tooth), she discovered that her former friend from before she became Inquisitor was attempting to stir up trouble again and she was struggling to grasp the idea of becoming herald and inquisitor.

It only took a small amount of overdue paperwork to send her into a fit of tears, luckily she was alone in her quarters where no one could see nor hear her sobs.

She decides to go to bed a little earlier and attempt to catch up on some much-needed sleep.

The next morning however she wakes up feeling like her body is filled with lead, her stomach is burning and churning and there is a faint ache in her back and limbs, she feels her heart racing and her hand where the anchor is burning and throbbing with a vengeance.

She feels like dragon dung, she doesn't even want to get out of bed, but she stumbles out to the balcony to get some fresh air.

Cullen, Leliana and Josephine notice her absence in the war room and send Iron Bull to go check in on her.

Bull finds her collapsed on the couch, curled up into a ball, well as much as she can for a quinari.

He notices the puffiness of her eyes, he notices the tension of her shoulders and the rapid movements of her body as she breathes. He notices that her left hand is tightened in a fist, knuckles are white from over gripping it.

Kadan? Please tell me what's wrong. Says Iron Bull.

Herah slowly sits herself up, feeling slightly dizzy she takes her time to adjust herself before Iron Bull guides her to her bed and lets her rest her head on his shoulder.

She tries to explain what's happening but she struggles to keep her tears from falling, her breathing becoming a little more rapid as she tries to quell her nausea.

Her nausea subsides a little which allows her to lift her head and Iron Bull tries to soothe her.

With her permission, he helps her to remove her clothes and asks her to lie down on her stomach, he then proceeds to grab some oil and massages the tension from her back, shoulders, legs and neck.

He then covers her up with a towel and proceeds to get a bath drawn for her.

As she soaks in the tub, he begins to massage her temples and works some of the tension out of her body.

The warmth of the water and the aromas of the bathwater help ease her anxieties.

Bull organises a servant to drop off some tea and he gets Josephine to clear her schedule for a few days.

Herah gets dried off and gets into some loose clothes, she drinks her tea and thanks Bull, for helping her ease her tension.

She lays down on the bad as Iron Bull draws circles on her exposed stomach, it calms her further.

Herah notices that her eyes start to grow heavy, she still feels like dragon dung but appreciates that Bull trying to help. She drifts off into the fade as Iron Bull lulls her to sleep with his gentle touch.

Cole pops by to drop off some sweetcakes and tries to ease some of her anxieties.

It helps, she notices that her nausea has disappeared and that her appetite has returned.

Iron Bull and Herah share a meal in her quarters and Herah realises that she feels well enough to give Bull a shoulder rub. They spend the day relaxing in her quarters, just intimacy, no lovemaking.

She discusses her concerns, Iron Bull listens and provides support.

She rests on top of his chest as he holds her close, whispering reassurances in her ear.
