Lots of thanks to the degenerate that commissioned this chapter, 'TheXinoz'! Hope ya enjoy it buddy!
P.S. It's 24k long, so grab some snacks...
I breathe out as I put on my lab coat, mostly because it's very comfy, and because it makes me feel cool.
"Alright." I wet my lips and toss everything off my workshop table, then call over Shiny and several drones and Droids.
"Shiny, two meter long and one meter thick cube, please." The little Spirit swiftly creates my request as I turn towards my Droids. "Go and grab some Spiritual Crystals. Five fist sized ones, and one around my size." The Droids nod and march off to gather my second request, then I turn towards the large cube of smart metal just as I rest Excalibur Transparency on my workshop table.
I breathe out and trace my hands alongside the flat side of the blade, swiftly creating several dozen miniature magical circles all around Excalibur, then a few bigger ones floating above it.
The metal is neither iron nor steel, nor any metal league I know about.
Any Enchantment placed on this type of metal seems to grow several times stronger, depending on the quality, and if the blade has been processed perfectly.
Is this Fay Metal? I've heard about this from Freya, but never managed to get my hands on it.
How does the church have it? They keep farming out more Excaliburs when the previous ones are broken, so they must have some kind of supply, or they just pay the Fays to make- Yeah no, the Fays don't like it when their creations are broken, so it's not them.
This also means that this Excalibur isn't the Original One… What happened to the original one? Was it destroyed and fully lost, then the morons of the church just went and said that they found it and repaired it?
No, that can't be right either. The Arthur Karna nuked had Excalibur Ruler, and it was passed down by the family, so…
I hum, then pull Excalibur Ruler out of my spatial storage and place it on the table, then place the same magical circle I placed around Transparency around it too.
And yeah, this is clearly part of the original.
The Fay Metal on Excalibur Ruler is dozens of times purer and far better smelted and forged than Excalibur Transparency.
The Enchantment is powerful, but mind control stuff is shit that I highly hate, so I swiftly destroy it and let Shiny eat it so to add Fay Metal to his mix.
The block of metal he created earlier is swiftly swallowed, then spat out improved, much to my delight.
I give him a pat as the Spiritual Crystal are delivered, and suddenly get a strange idea.
Actually no, better not let him try and absorb a Spiritual Crystal, else he might die on me, and I don't want that.
I swiftly remove the useless Transparency enchantment on the remaining Excalibur, then activate my Balance Breaker and break it down to tiny little particles together with the large cube of advanced materials made by Shiny.
I don't remove the old particles, but let them be absorbed and fused into Shiny's Smart Metal, then slowly construct a new and far superior Excalibur, though I don't let it take form just yet.
One thing I've learned recently is that I can control Spiritual Crystals with my Balance Breaker. Which honestly is a thing I can do even without it.
Spiritual Crystals keep existing even if destroyed into tiny powder, they only fade away once the Spiritual Energy inside of them is sucked dry, and it doesn't escape if they are broken.
And since I've discovered that new element recently… I think I can make use of them.
A minuscule portion of Spiritual Energy and Mana mixing together bought forth an explosion with enough power to hurt even Karna herself, with her bullshit armor on!
Fuck being careful dealing with Ajuka, if I can make a weapon out of this new power, I can just fucking erase him from existence with ease since I sure as fuck know that he can't divert this power with his dumb calculation powers.
Still, I wonder what bought forth that kind of energy…
Mana could be some kind of pure, raw and infinite fuel, and Spiritual Energy might be the weapon that is used to split the atom and unleash the true horrifying power of that fuel.
Whatever I discovered is… It's exactly what I need to gain even more of an edge against the Devils, and start my Space Age program and build my Orbital Station.
And that is what I want to use to power this new Excalibur, albeit it'll be more for the Excalibur release.
I doubt the current metal that Shiny can produce can even come close to withstanding the sheer fucking might that power holds.
Hm…
I think… I'll call it 'Ether' for now…
Heh, now I really want to go all Rick and be like "If God exists, it's fucking me!" since it very much fits the situation.
I build and shape the new Excalibur in the shape and looks of the Excalibur from the Nasuverse, hoping that maybe holding it might help Artoria gain more of her memories.
I turn some of the Spiritual Crystal into powder, then add said powder along the incredibly sharp edges of the sword. Not enough to create enough power to kill, but enough to cause quite a bit of pain.
But now comes the hard part… The Noble Phantasm release that is pretty much voice activated… and make sure it doesn't create and unleash Ether without the proper activation method, and that it doesn't explode and collapse on itself during the release.
Thank Azazel that he managed to make me study under Freya.
Bless that wonderful Milf.
I'm not a master with them, but I can inscribe some of the Primordial Runes upon the new Excalibur, so to make it so much stronger, then add even more enchantments to make it be able to bear the sheer might released by the Ether.
The Metal Rune for sharpness, Earth Rune for toughness, Fire Rune for additional fire power, Wind Rune for additional speed, Steel Rune for even more toughness, the Wood Rune to give it some healing capabilities, the Water Rune to make it capable of releasing even more power without breaking, and… that's it.
The Lightning Rune won't be of much use other for additional speed, and I doubt someone like Artoria will need that speed to keep up with Kokabiel.
Neither will the remaining Primordial Runes be of much help.
I breathe out and sit on the chair one of my droids brought over, then float the incomplete Excalibur in front of me as I make a thin but long needle out of Shiny's metal.
I slowly breathe in and become aware of Artoria's presence, her steps slow and quiet as she approaches, but I decide to ignore her for now and start inscribing the runes.
Usually, lower level runes would be easy for me to create and put out, but Primordial Runes are different. They are the very first runes to grace the world and hold enormous amounts of power, so much so that the ones me and Freya inscribe are mere fakes, which are connected to the real ones, thus can use some of that power.
And to make use of that connection, one needs to have permission. Which Freya gave me.
That woman just loves me too damn much, and Odin really doesn't deserve even one of her hair.
I shake away those thoughts and focus on inscribing the Primordial Rune, starting with Fire due to it being the hardest since it's wild and strong.
The shape of the rune is simple, the problem is controlling it's flow of energy and finding a good enough level to stop it at, else the object the rune is placed on could collapse, then explode violently.
I've learned that the bad way.
I feel my head start to throb painfully as I keep my Balance Breaker active, using that so to make extra sure that I don't fuck up the process of inscribing the runes.
Strong heat and a blinding red glow swallow my face as I finish inscribing the Primordial Flame Rune, then swiftly find the right amount of power to stop it at before quickly moving onto the next.
I start inscribing the Earth Rune next, then faintly notice Artoria leaving by the time I start inscribing the Metal Rune, but again, I don't pay attention to that.
The one thing I realize once I finish the third rune is that I can't possibly turn this Excalibur into a Noble Phantasms due to the magic systems of the two worlds being completely different.
There is no Mystery here, there is no Human Belief power that can create them… And thankfully, I already made sure that it won't matter.
I'll still pour my heart and Soul into creating this sword, and leave the rest to the Ether, hoping that the Release is actually very powerful, and not just a pathetic fluke.
And if the release destroys it… then so be it. It's time I let go of my past. Of my mother.
To think that I know so little of my own mother… But I guess that's to be expected. Why would she tell her growing kid about her past?
There has to be a reason on why she hid it, on why she had an Excalibur just hanging off the damn wall.
Is it truly a family heirloom, or did she take it?
So many questions, and I have a way to get answers through Yasaka, but I'd rather not ruin the good memories I have of my mother.
Of her trying to be the best mother she can be, and succeeding with ease.
Of her silly and dumb jokes. Her airhead moments and stupid questions that made even my brain cringe.
Of our shared passion for the stars and our nights spent just staring at the stars through a telescope.
I blink, then watch as the blade before me slowly changes, growing darker and darker… until small, glowing stars and swirling galaxies appear along the flat side of the blade, as if alive.
I couldn't help but smile at the sight.
I've been subconsciously using my Spiritual Strength during the Rune transcription, so does that have anything to do with this change?
I blink again when a small towel gently touches my face, and I turn my gaze and notice that Artoria has come back, her calm, emotionless gaze still present as she is crouched beside me, her hands gently holding a towel.
It's at that moment that I realized that my face is drenched in sweat, and that my headache has grown a lot worse, but I swiftly give the breathtaking blonde a warm smile before turning back to finish my job.
Thankfully, it doesn't take me long to finish the remaining Runes, and I lean back with grunt as Artoria lives the towel in my hands.
I swiftly dry my face, then stand and marvel at my handiwork.
A bit longer than an arm, a sharp edge and thick blade with swirling seas of stars and galaxies on it, a golden guard and a dark blue grip.
I guess it can have a passing grade, for now.
The finishing touch is a sheath that can hold it safely, as I can physically feel the Mana thrum and flow around the enchanted and improved Excalibur.
"And here we go." I lift it up, then offer it to Artoria with a smile on my face. "This should do the job." She stares at the blade, then at me, then back at the blade before finally lifting both of her hands and gingerly accepting it.
She breathes out, her hands shaking slightly as her gaze traces the guard, which I made it look a bit similar to the Nasuverse's Excalibur's guard, though my memory isn't too perfect on that small detail so I might have gotten it a bit wrong.
"Master." Artoria speaks up and reverently lifts the blade up, then kneels down and lowers her head, much to my surprise. "Please, give this fantastic blade a name." I blink, then smile softly.
I trace my fingers along the sheath, then hum softly. "Excalibur Astra." She lifts her gaze, her bright eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"It means 'Star' in Greek." My smile grows a bit warmer. "And it was my mother's name."
Her eyes light up before she lowers her head. "I'll make good use of it." I smile, amused at her antics, then help her stand.
"I know you will." I pat her arm as I say that, then give the reforged Excalibur one last look before turning back towards my workshop table.
Working on it gave me an idea, one that is kind of crazy, but I'll need some testing first.
I have one of my Droids bring a couch for Artoria to sit on since she wants to stay around, then create a small, yet quite though metallic room for my tests.
During my spar with Karna, when I tried to mix Spiritual Energy and Mana together, I did it so with non-elemental Mana.
So what I want to discover now… does Elemental Mana bring forth Elemental Ether? If so, I can make use of this by using the Primordial Runes.
I toss a small Spirit Crystal inside the room, then create a red magic circle below it, and slowly insert the fire Mana inside i-
Boom!
I wince and duck as the small room swells and glows a blinding and insanely hot white.
Jesus fuckin' Christ-
I quickly calculate and check out the power output caused by a small finger sized Spiritual Crystal, and holy fucking shit, that bitch could have erased Kuoh off the damn map.
The problem is… why is the creation of Ether so damn explosive?
I want to incorporate Ether into my battle suits, and army of Droids and machines, but other than an insanely powerful kill-switch…
Wait, maybe I've been going at it the wrong way.
So far I only inserted Mana into Spiritual Energy, will things change if I do the opposite?
With that thought in mind, I swiftly fix the test room and have a Droid bring me a fist sized Quartz, which I proceeded to fill with Mana before tossing it inside the room.
I then slowly and gently guide a strand of my own Spiritual Energy into the Mana filled Quartz, get ready for an explosion…
But instead get a blinding flash and a surge of immense and pure energy, like none I've ever felt before.
It was dense, pure, powerful.
How has no one ever discovered this?
No, I can't fault the Supernatural races. With their long lives they don't strive to improve themselves at the same rate the short lived Humans do.
We do everything in our power to discover something new, something that gives us an edge, something that is just more.
And the Supernatural races grew reliant on that, stealing off our inventions and making them 'theirs' in different ways.
Like the shit the Devils do with their DevilNet or whatever the fuck that thing is called, the phones and whatnot.
Fucking 'Smartest Devil in History' my ass. Retard stole everything off of us.
I shake my head and return to studying the Ether that I just created, which surprisingly enough I can control.
It's… rough, heavy, and feels different from both Mana and Spiritual Energy, but in a way that I can't find words to describe.
Luckily, I don't need to control it myself. I just need to find the right frequency and build a machine that can control it in my steed, then incorporate it in my armor.
I hum, then toss a Spiritual Crystal inside the room and direct the Ether inside of it, out of curiosity.
What I get is not an explosion, but a slight improvement to the Ether output. Not massive enough to make a difference, but enough to make me grin like a maniac.
I finally got what I need to kick-start my Space Age!
I have an unlimited amount of Spiritual Crystals, and now I can just buy all the Quartz that I need through Azazel, but I have enough to make a Supermassive Ether Dyson Sphere- Long fucking name but whatever.
Man, that thing is gonna make so much raw power…
I can't even make a quick raw estimate of the numbers, but either way, it should be more than enough for me to build and keep the Orbital Station afloat.
And for my battle suit. I could incorporate the Primordial Runes and Circle in it, and I already have an idea, but I'll work on those things tonight, once I cleared out my schedule.
I straighten myself and stretch my back, then snort when I notice that Artoria fell asleep on the couch. She's so fucking adorable…
I gently set the upgraded Excalibur aside, then gently pick her much bigger body up, open a portal to her room, then gently place her on her comfy bed, where she instantly melts against the pillow.
I smile warmly and brush some of her blonde locks aside before pulling back, happy that she can now at least enjoy things again.
She went so long without feeling anything that now she needs to relearn how to even sleep.
I shake my head, give her one last glance, then go back through the opened portal just in time to find a sneaky little fox and cat scurrying around.
My lips twitch as I sneak up behind them, then crouch down with an amused smile on my face.
"Where did he go?" Kunou whispers as she glances towards Kuroka, both of their tails dancing side by side, looking like two preys ready to pounce.
Kuroka purrs and scrunches up her nose, then gives the air a few sniffs. "He's scent is close-" I grab her tail. "NYAAAAAAAAAA-" I blink and look up as she reaches the massive ceiling in a single leap and somehow hangs off of it.
Kunou instead is currently trying and failing to mimic an opossum faking death.
Actually those fuckers do actually die and start to stink badly, hence why their tactic works…
"So…" I drawl out as I poke Kunou's feat, then start tickling them, making her shiver, snort, then giggle and wiggle around as she tries to escape them. "Why might you two be sneaking around, hm?" I question as a flushed up Kuroka finally drops down, her face all but glowing red.
"She wanted to jump-scare you." Kuroka instantly snitches on Kunou, who squeaks at the plain betrayal. "I joined in for the fun, and not to get a life scared out of me." She glares at me, but I just grin brightly at her.
Still, weird that she's around Kunou now. Did Yasaka perhaps make Kuroka one of Kunou's bodyguards?
Quite the good idea. I can tell at a glance that Kuroka is very, very strong. Ultimate Class, give or take, maybe around Lavinia's level.
"I have no catnip for you." Kuroka squeaks in indignation at my words, her face growing even more red as Kunou giggles at her.
"That stuff doesn't work on us!" She protests, and I give her a look.
"So you actually tried it?" She freezes.
Then swiftly turns her face away while clenching her fists.
"I'm telling Shirone when I see her again." I shake my head in disapproval, then sidestep to the side as Kuroka flies past the place where I was standing and proceeds to face plant against the machine they were hiding behind.
I snort as she groans, then crouch down to pick up the adorable Kunou, then scratch her behind her ears.
She instantly melts and smiles a smile so bright that it could put the sun to shame.
"What about me?!" Kuroka whines in protest, rubbing her slightly red nose as her slitted eyes glare at me.
I hum, then shrug. "Want a spanking?" I offer, and she pauses.
She's actually fucking considering it…
But she swiftly gives up on that train of thought with just a small flush on her cheeks. "Tch." And a click of her tongue. Cute.
She then looks back at me and sniffs the air a few times, stands up, sniffs again, then approaches me and sniffs me again. She pulls back, the slight flush on her cheeks a bit stronger as she narrows her eyes. "Why do nya smell so good?" What?
Did Yasaka do something or what?
Or… Is this some harem bullshit power I awakened?
Nah, that's just dumb… Unless…
"Hell if I know." I shrug and pick Kunou up, then bring her to the couch and sit her on my lap as Kuroka sprawls down right beside us, her huge breasts bouncing lewdly everywhere due to her kimono being so very loose.
She notices my gaze, even though it was just a glance, and a cheshire grin instantly splits across her face.
I ignore her teasing looks as I fix Kunou's messed up hair and clothes, then resume scratching the back of her ear just as I get an idea.
"I just thought of something." I hum as Kuroka steps up her teasing my lowering her kimono slightly, making the tip of her areolas slightly visible as she leans against me. "How would you like to meet your sister tonight?" And she instantly locks up.
I look up to meet her very intense, nearly glowing gaze, her nose nearly touching mine. "You can do that?" She asks slowly and softly, with no small amount of hope in her voice.
I shrug. "Just gotta wait till the bitch that holds her leash goes to sleep, then it should be easy." And with Rias's current emotional state, I bet she's gonna go to sleep early.
Especially since Miss Levi-tan is gonna pop up tomorrow morning.
Imagine being so incompetent that you wait a whole day before going to check on the girl whose slave rebelled and nearly killed the Queen slave.
Oh well, what can you expect from expired products…
"I could kiss you right now." Kuroka states very seriously, her eyes all but glowing with growing happiness and a hint of lust, her words making Kunou squeak and flush in my lap.
I merely shrug. "Take me out for dinner first." I snort out, but blink when she actually narrows her eyes and thinks about it.
I blink again when a notification reaches me, and I tilt my head to the side just in time to see Yasaka walk into my workshop through the portal, led by one of the many Droids I gifted her to make her job easier.
She looks around for a second before her gaze finally lands on us. Specifically on me, and the little happy, nearly glowing, fox girl on my lap.
The air around her instantly changes at the sight as a deep, strong blush covers her cheeks.
A… Are those hearts that I see in her pupils?
Our eyes meet, and I already feel my hips aching. Oh boy, I'm in danger.
The good type of danger.
I poke Kunou's cheek, then point towards her mother, making her gaze light up even more.
Yasaka visibly melts at the sight, and she swiftly picks up her daughter into her tight embrace once the little fox barrels into her for a hug.
She walks over and takes a seat beside me, then leans down to give me a very hungry but quick kiss. What a woman.
Kuroka makes a choking sound at sight. "Get a room." She whines, but Yasaka hums and gives her a challenging stare.
"I'm sure you'd love to join us inside the room." Kuroka squeaks and flushes while Kunou merely blinks curiously. She hasn't had the talk yet, huh?
I hum, then suddenly remember something. "Say, what's your relationship with the Yoinozaka Clan?" I ask Yasaka, and her expression instantly falls into a harsh frown while Kuroka hisses slightly.
Not good then.
"We aren't on… 'speaking' terms with them." Yasaka grinds out through gritted teeth. "They are a group of prideful and uncivilized animals that want to have everything their way, and will do all kinds of atrocities to do just that." Huh, so I can nuke them without any remorse. Good to know. "Why do you ask?"
I hum. "They got a big portion of the Demon Slaying Ninja Corps on their payroll." Hoshou Clan or something, I didn't bother to remember the name. I'll check those that are standing with Sagiri's mom, and then aim the guns at those that aren't. "I have a meeting with the Ninja Corps in a while. I'll put my foot down and a collar around their necks, then give the leash to you. If you want it." Yasaka's eyes widen, and the look she gives me promises me an even greater fucking than before.
Yeah, my hips ain't gonna make it.
"I have a friend in the Ninja Corps. The head of the Ameno Clan, Fubuki Ameno." I hum, recognizing the name of Sagiri's mother from the quick research I made.
Once Fubuki Azuma, then became an Ameno after getting married into the family through an arranged marriage, then grew to power after her husband's death in battle and has since then been at the head of the Clan.
Surprisingly enough, nobody complained that she is an outsider.
"Want me to give the leash to her?" I ask, and she nods, leaning against my side with a beautiful smile on her face.
Ask and it shall be done, especially since those guys are useless to me.
I lean back and enjoy her warm company as I wrap an arm around her curvaceous waist so to hold her close, then blink at the pouting Kuroka.
I snort, then pat my lap as invitation.
She blinks, blushes, contemplates it for a few seconds… then drops her head on my lap.
I instantly reach up to pat her head and scratch her ears, making her purr and mewl in a way that is utterly adorable.
Are all Youkai's like this?
I should test on Shirone.
XxX
The construction of the Orbital Station is going quite smoothly, but it'll take a few more days to fully complete for two reason.
First one is that it's bigger than Kuoh itself.
And the second one is because Shiny needs to take breaks to fully recover after providing as much material as he can.
Plus, I still need to build the Ether Dyson Sphere, which will power the whole Orbital Station.
Both the protection field around it – which will be able to tank anything – and the weapon array for protection.
With an immense surplus of energy too.
After the Orbital Station is set and finished, I'll get started on the Orbital Cannon Array around the planet, which won't take more than a day to set up since they aren't that big to make.
I should make some Ether Orbital Cannons though… Just to be safe, and as an extra 'Fuck you.'.
I perk up when my phone rings just as I grab a bag of chips to snack on, then hum once I notice the message on it.
I swiftly call for a droid to bring some snacks to Kuroka, who is still lazing around in my workshop, before I swiftly send a drone to the coordinates written down on the message Sagiri just sent me.
A few seconds later, I have the spatial coordinates and have already set up a non-magical illusion around the grassy field before opening a portal in front of me.
I lazily walk through as I pop open the bag of chips in my hands, then munch on a chip as I inspect the people a dozen meters ahead of me.
They even set their tables up on a hill so to look down on me. How cute.
There's five groups in total, two sitting by the right, and three sitting by the left.
Those on the left clearly had an old man with a bald head and big mustache as the leader, while those on the right had a beautiful mature woman with long dark blue hair and hair, and a very similar appearance to Sagiri.
Speaking of which, said Sagiri is kneeling down right beside the woman.
Their ally is a blonde woman, but I don't remember much about her other than her Clan being responsible for the communication side of things in the Ninja Corps.
"What a warm welcome." I drawl out lazily before tossing another chip in my mouth. "Sagiri." I nod towards my schoolmate, her face a bit awkward from the tense atmosphere, but she relaxes once she sees my attitude and offers me a friendly smile and nod.
"Ma'am." I nod towards Sagiri's mother, who smiles gently and nods back.
And then I turn towards the opposing faction. "Lapdog of the Yoinozaka." I smile towards the mustached old man as I walk around the small tea table in front of me as his whole body locks up at my words.
I don't have time to waste with pretenses and flowery words, so I'll go straight to the jugular.
"Selling your own daughter and female clan members to the Yoinozaka for monetary gain and Spiritual Artifacts and weapons of mediocre power, just so you can use them to buy over other Clans." I click my tongue and shake my head in clear disgust as I slowly walk up the hill towards the old man's table.
I still can't remember the name of his Clan. He is just that irrelevant.
Sagiri's mother, Fubuki, slowly turns a very intense gaze towards the old man not far from her, clear killing intent glowing in her dark blue eyes.
"Oh yeah, you thought they died in fights against Evil Spirits? Nope, they are written off as casualties when in reality they are being raped by the Yoinozaka on a daily basis." I pull out my phone and flip it up, creating a large hologram that showcases some rather… disturbing and disgusting images.
Sagiri instantly goes green and turns away while her mother's Spiritual Energy bursts out in a bout of anger, nearly cratering the ground below her as her table and teacups go flying.
"Hm?" I blink when the old man just sat there, sweating profusely and pale like paper. I'd half expected him to stand up and shout at me to shut the fuck up, but this…
Hell, even his lackeys are just sitting there, quivering.
"Cat got your tongue?" I put down my bag of chips and slap the old man several times, but his eyes merely quiver from that.
The fuck is wrong with him?
Oh, wait…
"Jack, control your killing intent." Jack instantly appears right behind the old man, her knife held at his throat and her form being the adult one.
Her eyes were cold and murderous, and the killing intent rolling off of her body made everyone other than me pale and quiver.
Her eyes flicker up to mine, and she silently begs me to let her take his life.
He sold girls and let them be raped for his own gain. Of course she'd want to murder him.
"No." I shake my head, then nod towards Fubuki. "Their torture methods are what he deserves. Death is a mercy for filth like him." Her gaze instantly lights up at that, and she swiftly pulls away her knife and killing intent before hopping behind me, letting the old man and his lackeys finally gasp for breath.
Yay! We can finally talk shit!
"Y-You…" Old man chokes out as he goes to stand, veins throbbing all over his bald head as spittle flies out of his mouth.
Only for his head to get smashed into the table, then through it, then into the ground.
By none other than Fubuki.
"Oh come the fuck on! Can't I talk shit with this retard before y'all beat the fuck outta him?!" I throw my hands in the air and groan loudly, gaining a deadpan look from Jack, Fubuki and Sagiri.
What? I need my daily amusement.
I sigh and wave my hand as the old man's lackeys finally gather their wits and go to stand, only for them to instantly freeze as my drones and droids release their cloaks and make themselves visible, all of their guns and weapons aimed straight at them.
They whimper and sit back down instantly, not daring to make a sound.
"I'll leave the punishment of these guys to you, ma'am." I hum towards Fubuki as she straightens herself, keeping a foot on the old man's head and making me notice that not only is she quite a bit taller than me.
But that she's also an amazing looking Milf. Oh lawd.
"I was going to put a collar on them and give you the leash after scaring the shit out of them, but things didn't go as I had planned." I give Jack a mock glare for that, and she merely looks away with a cute pout.
"A dog would be far better than this thing." Fubuki hums, a relaxed smile on her slightly tense face, her heel roughly rubbing against the back of the old man's skull.
Is he even still alive?
"No doubt." I nod, then shake my head. "Either way, let's talk business." I wave away at my droids and drones and let them disappear, having delivered the warning that I needed to.
"Bring it in." I call out as a large portal opens up down the hill, drawing Fubuki's attention as several large Droids walk out while dragging something.
Her eyes widen a great deal once she notices the enormous Spiritual Crystal inside the containment glass being dragged by the Droids.
"How?" She whispers, and I smirk.
"I made a farm that grows Spiritual Crystals, so now I have an unlimited amount of them." Her eyes grew even more wide at my words. "That's one of the many things you'll gain through this… business connection."
"Battle Droids to help train your members. Spiritual Crystals to recover your spent energies. Healing Pods for the injured and crippled. You name it, I have it, and can provide it." I shrug, ignoring Sagiri gaping at me as her mother stares at me with wide, shocked eyes.
And her eyes suddenly harden. "There is an ulterior motive to why you are doing this, isn't there?" Smart woman.
"I'll very likely be going to war against the Devils soon enough." Within the month at least, since I plan on erasing one of their Satans off the face of the Earth after putting my foot down during the 'Peace Conference'.
"You won't fight for me, of course. I have an ever growing army, and can erase the Devils as easily as breathing." She relaxes at that. They have beef with the Devils, but they aren't confident in going to war against them.
Mostly because they have no one that can stand against the Satans, and some of their strongest members.
"The war, if it does happen, will cause a surge of Evil Spirits to pop up everywhere." Those fuckers appears due to death and negative emotions, and during a war it won't be rare for Ultimate Class Evil Spirits to pop up left and right. "So I am simply giving you the required tools to prepare in case that scenario does happen."
Fubuki stares at me with narrowed eyes, but I simply give her an innocent smile.
It's not the full truth, and she can tell, but I don't really care.
"Ah, right." I blink as I remember something. "Yasaka sends her regards, and hopes that she can form an alliance with the Ninja Corps." At that, Fubuki's gaze instantly lights up at the mention of her old friend and her request.
She mulls it over and chews on her lower lip for a few seconds before sighing. "Fine, I'll accept your… generosity." She reluctantly says before offering her hand, and I grab it and give it a shake with my still present innocent smile.
She is aware that this isn't good, but what I offer is far too great for her to refuse.
Not only can it strengthen her faction as a whole constantly, but it will also cut down on their deaths, and allow them to save up a great deal of money.
All in exchange of being right beneath my thumb.
I'll be honest… I have no use for them. My droids can do what they do, just better and faster.
Hence why I just threw them at Yasaka, so to bolster her own forces even more. She'll need that in case she decides to go and take a piece of the Devils while I chew 'em out.
"Well, this was faster than I thought, and less entertaining…" I shrug, then turn towards Sagiri. "Be careful tomorrow morning, there will be an attack on Kuoh." I warn her before opening a portal behind me and taking a step back, closing it just as she processes my words and goes to stand in alarm.
Heh, now she's gonna freak out.
Jack gives me a deadpan look, but I just shrug. I need to fuck with people, else I won't be me.
I'll leave my Droids to deliver a massive package of Healing Pods and Spiritual Crystals to the Ninja Corps, together with the teaching for a perfected Aura, which I've quickly studied and checked for any dangers.
Plus Battle Droids for training.
With this, they should be set for a long, long time. The rest can be left to Yasaka, since now they'll pretty much work for her.
I'll have to put the other Youkai Factions under my thumb too, then under Yasaka's leadership. Just to pamper the fuck out of her and make her faction incredibly strong.
Which will also reward me with mind-blowing sex that will leave my hips aching, but I shall gladly accept the challenge!
Now, time to go annoy a certain white cat.
XxX
Shirone had to admit that the past days have been very tense.
Kiba going stray and nearly killing Akeno in the process destroyed Rias, who has now spent the past days locked up in her room.
Things became more tense when Riser came over, though he swiftly changed his attitude when he learned of what happened.
He is mad that he wasn't informed sooner about what happened, else he wouldn't have bought his girls over and put them in danger, but still managed to be supportive of Rias.
Who wanted to hear none of it and pretty much screamed at him and kicked him out of the club.
He went so far as to offer help to find Kiba, only to be met with that.
Though it's to be expected. Rias already hates the guy to the core, and her current emotional state most definitely isn't the best.
And now the Leviathan is apparently coming over to talk with Rias and Sona in the morning.
Perhaps she can use that chance to ask for a favor-
An incredibly good scent fills her nostrils all of a sudden, making her freeze as her body instantly heats up, making the hair on her tail stand on end.
What the hell is that scen-
A finger suddenly digs into her side. "NYAAAAAAA-" A high pitched scream flows out of her mouth as she jumps up, digging her nails into the tree branch above her, then sending a murderous glare down below, where Ciel was currently smirking up at her in sheer amusement.
She hisses loudly at him, a massive flush covering her face.
"How cute, just like your sister." She hisses again, then instantly freezes as she mulls over his words.
Sister?
She lets go of the tree branch and lands on the ground, then instantly latches onto Ciel, her pupils dilating once she realizes that the source of the incredibly good scent is him.
"You know my sister? She's alive?!" She desperately grabbed him, her eyes already starting to burn as Ciel's expression softens up a great deal.
"Chill, kitty cat." She hisses as her face burns from the nickname, wanting nothing more than to scratch him for that right now. "But yes, I met Kuroka recently. Told her about you, and came over to give you a present."
Her cat ears perk up at that, and her tail was most definitely not wagging happily right now.
Nope. Not at all.
…
Stop wagging already!
Why does getting a present from him excite her so much!?
"Tonight, make sure everyone is asleep before leaving, then go to the park and follow the scent of incense. Once there I'll open a portal for you, and your sister will be right through it." He pauses, then gives her a look. "I suggest preparing yourself for bone crushing hugs, vicious pats and cuddles." Her sister wouldn't kill her with hugs… would she?
She gulps, then nods slowly. "I…" She pulls back, her belly full of happiness, so much so that she doesn't know how to handle it.
Has she ever been this happy before?
How does she even handle it?
"I don't know how to thank you…" She mumbles softly, shyly looking down at the ground and grinding her heel against it.
Ciel chuckles softly, then reaches up to pat her head, sending pleasant shivers down her spine and making her purr loudly.
She stands on her toes and pushes her head against his hand, then gasps when he chuckles softly.
Her face instantly catches on fire, but she gulps down the embarrassment and lets him pat and scratch her ears.
Yes, this is her way of thanking him! Of course!
She totally didn't love it!
H-Her purrs were fake too! Most definitely fake!
"Right, I almost forgot…" He pulls his hand back, and she pouts at the loss of contact, making him chuckle as her cheeks burn. "Tomorrow morning there will be an attack on Kuoh. The moment it starts I'll open a portal next to you to send you somewhere safe." She frowns a bit at that, even through the butterflies in her belly at his worry and want to protect her.
She totally did not like that at all either!
"I can protect myself." She whines softly through her pout, and Ciel pats her head again.
"I know you are strong, but these guys are all old war veterans. They have centuries of experience over you." She had to regretfully admit that he was right this time.
She might have experience in fighting, and confidence in her own strength, but war veterans were a totally different matter.
They had experience, power and technique far above hers. Having her pride injured is far better than losing her life due to it, so she nods, making Ciel visibly relax.
And then she remembers something important. "The Leviathan might come find you tomorrow morning…" Unless the attack starts right when she is around.
Is it aimed to perhaps take the Leviathan's life, or is it just a coincidence?
Ciel blinks, then shrugs. "She probably will, but I don't care. She will bring bullshit on her own head, so… sucks to be her." How he can be so fearless against a Satan, she doesn't know… but for some reason, she likes it.
A lot.
This must be some sort of foreign magic or something affecting her!
Yes! That must be it!
"Oh right, I have something else for you." She perks up at that, and he takes a step back. "How good are you at using Spiritual Energy?" She cutely tilts her head to the side at his weird question, but answers nonetheless.
"Not bad… I think." She has no one else to compare herself to, so her answer is as honest as it can be.
He hums, then nods. "Then here, follow my instructions." She blinks, then straightens herself and nods, her form changing to her more adult looking one, which also makes her school uniform quite tight on her even more voluptuous body.
Her cheeks burn as Ciel's eyes widen, then burn even more when he quickly checks her out, his eyes focusing mostly on her very long naked legs, which are in full view due to her now much shorter skirt.
Once again, that weird magic is making her like him staring at her body!
Ciel swiftly blinks and pulls his gaze away, then smiles up at her, not bothered by the new difference in height. "Alright, now… Make a small strand of Spiritual Energy, then attach one end of it to the other, forming a circle." She closes her eyes and follows his steps, making sure to make the strand of Spiritual Energy neither too big nor too long as she does so.
"And now concentrate on making the circle spin." She does so, then gasps when her Spiritual Energy becomes more active and energetic, filling her body with pure power as her eyes shoot wide open.
She keeps the circle spinning as she gazes at the flame-like platinum aura around her body, the feeling of raw power coursing through her limbs making her feel intoxicated.
"That was quick." Ciel hums, clear praise in his tone as he smiles at her shocked face. "I call that Aura, a far stronger and better version than Touki, though it also costs a great deal more from what I've studied." Shirone's eyes widen as she realizes that Ciel created this wonderful spell. Or at least, his wording implies so!
"Now, let's move onto the magical side." She eagerly nods and releases her Aura, having memorized the easy activation method and planning on studying it more in depth later. "Do the same thing you did to activate the Aura, just with Mana." She blinks, then nods.
The process is far harder this time, mostly because her control over her Mana isn't really that good, so making a strand and then making a circle, then making it spin takes her a few minutes.
But once she does so… she is slightly disappointed that the result is nothing like the Aura burst of energy.
"I know, it's nothing like Aura, but this has a different use. It's to make your control over your Mana better over time. The faster you make the spin circle, the better your control over Mana will get." Ciel explains, and her eyes sparkle at that.
It's a simple training method, but the result is quite wondrous.
"Now, I'll give you the method on how to do something else, but hold back on using this until you can make your Circle spin more than ten times in a single second, else it'll be useless." She nods at that, then focuses on both Ciel and her Circle, keeping it in motion, though hating the fact that by the looks of it, it'll take her around half a minute to make it spin even once.
She really did neglect her magical training by the looks of it.
"Once your control over your Mana is decent, try and condense all of your Mana in a tiny little dot, over and over, until you have used it all up." She nods, then tilts her head curiously at Ciel, seeking an explanation on what it does. "It'll create a secondary Mana Core in your body, nearly doubling your current Mana reservoirs." Her eyes blow wide open at that.
"Can I create more than one?" She asks in excitement, the prospect of being able to nearly double her Mana reservoirs so easily making her feel quite giddy.
Ciel nods, but then raises a hand. "If you try to create a second one right after the first one, they might blow up inside your body and nearly kill you. I speak from experience." She pales at that, and a bucket of ice is poured on her growing excitement.
"Each Mana Core will take a while to stabilize. When it does stabilize, that's when you know you can create another." She gulps, then nods, making sure to remember that detail.
She'd rather not die due to a stupid mistake.
"Did you create all of these…?" She asks softly, and Ciel smirks at her, sending chills down her spine.
His mind is truly terrifying…
She shakes that thought away, then looks at Ciel, then back down at her finger.
Since that accident happened, and since she was given as a slave to Rias, she always wanted power. Power that can surpass even the Satans themselves.
Enough power to control her fate, to control her very life, so to not be a mere tool to some stronger being.
And now Ciel easily gave her so many things that can make her growth so, so much faster.
She couldn't hold her emotions back and she lunged forward, bringing a surprised Ciel in her tight embrace and shoving his face between her large breasts, happy purrs flowing out of her as she does so.
"Thank you so much…" She whispers softly, tightly holding onto his still surprised form. "For helping me meet my sister, and for this…" Ciel finally recovers, then chuckles softly and gently pats her back.
"Why are you even helping me? What do you gain from this?" She asks softly as she breaks then hug, then blinks when he shrugs.
"Two reasons. The first one is to fuck with Rias and her dumb brother, and two…" His expression softens slightly at that. "The second reason is because your situation slightly reminds me of mine." She curiously tilts her head at that.
"Both of our families were ripped apart because of Devils… Your situation can be salvaged, while mine can't." He shrugs again. "Helping you fix it is easy, and as a reward I get a cute cat to pet. So I see it as an absolute win." He gives her a cheeky grin, making her puff up her cheeks as they start to burn.
Why is he like this?
"Hmph! Fine! I shall allow you to pet me… not like I like it or anything…" She accepts the condition with a burning flush on her face, mumbling the last part out so to not let him get any weird ideas.
Ciel blinks, then snorts. "A tsundere. How cute." She instantly chokes on her breath at that.
"I'm not a tsundere!"
"That's what a tsundere would say, so..."
"But I'm not!"
"Eh, whatever you say… Tsundere."
She hisses at him, but his smug smirk remained in place, making her lunge at him so to angrily pinch at his cheeks- But Ciel takes a step forward once she lunges at him, and she misses his cheeks… hence she pushes her tits in his face.
She comes to a stop with a deadpan look on her blushing face. "Really?"
He slowly looks up from between her breasts, then raises a finger. "To be honest… I don't know what compelled me to do this." He narrows his eyes, his lower face still swallowed by her cleavage, and for some reason she doesn't mind one bit.
Instead, that weird magic starts working again and makes her like this situation!
"Still, I'm not complaining…" He hums and nods as her eyes focus on his impossibly bright and clear sky-blue eyes, and how cute his face looks from so close, and how intoxicating his scent is, and-
Ciel goes to take a step back to pull away, but she gasps and grabs his head, then shoves it back between her large breasts and wraps her arms around it, a fierce blush on her panting face.
And then she realizes what she just did.
"And here I thought I was the pervert…" Ciel muses with clear amusement in his eyes, the enormous grin on his face buried beneath her cleavage.
Shirone squeaks, then jumps away and transforms into a small white cat, lands on the ground with ease, and proceeds to hiss at Ciel before running away to hide her shame and embarrassment.
"Tsundereee~!" He shouts after her.
"Nyaaaaaaaaaaaa-!"
Her scream of shame and anger was heard by the whole city, but everyone chalked it up to just a cat being a cat.
XxX
"-The more I study your notes, the more I grow fascinated with your mind and thoughts." I hum as Echidna's voice filters through the video call on the laptop as I set up my telescope, aiming it up at the starry sky above. "You Humans truly are fascinating and wondrous beings."
I throw a look back at the large house on the beach, where pretty much everyone is now, eating and drinking happily. Chisaki, her mother, Lavinia, Yasaka and Kunou, Kuroka and Shirone, Kogarashi, Karna and the rest.
Chisaki and her mother Hiyori will stay here until late in the afternoon tomorrow, so to make sure they will be safe and sound and away from the attack on Kuoh.
Me and the girls will go back home in a few hours, with Yasaka, Kuroka and Kunou staying behind so to keep the mother and daughter duo company, and enjoy some time at the beach.
The fact that I want to see Yasaka in a nice bikini has nothing to do with it. Totally not.
Not like I can keep such a desire hidden from her.
"Eh, we have a shit ton of flaws, so…" I scrunch up my nose at Echidna's words, making her chuckle softly.
"All races have flaws, Devils and Vampires more than others… I do wonder what happened to the vampires though…" They had a face to face meeting with a thermonuclear bomb, that's what happened.
Funny how they acted so prideful and cocky, yet a non-magical weapon dusted their asses. Fucking pathetic…
Still, now I am curious about something. "What do you think is one of the most glaring flaws about the Devils? Other than their pride, of course." She snorts at that, then hums softly, clearly mulling over my question.
"I'd say that the most glaring flaw Devils have is the fact that they do not wish to improve, or advance themselves. It irks me, and it's the reason I abandoned them in the first place." I perk up and turn to look at her face through the video call as she scrunches up her nose in distaste.
"The one thing I want the most is to study, and improve, constantly. The Great War kind-of helped a bit, as it allowed me to test my theories and spells in combat, but then after it ended and the Original Satans went and got themselves killed, the Devil turned to me, seeking a leader."
"They require an ass to follow, else they don't know what to do with themselves… And I didn't want to hold the hands of a bunch of overgrown children, so I left and faked my death. And then they went and started a Civil War because of that! How ridiculously stupid!"
Let's not talk about how the current Satans decided to bear the names of the retards that wanted to conquer the world and enslave the other races.
Totally doesn't give the wrong impression.
"Yeah, it's not just the Devils though. All Supernatural races, other than maybe the Fallen Angels, are like that." She perks up at that, looking at me with glowing curiosity in her eyes.
"Humans unaware of the Supernatural are different. They wish to find an answer to everything. To achieve immortality. To be Gods. Eternal and undying. Perfect."
"So they strive forward and research everything in their path. Reaching for the stars with their weak mortal hands."
"For the Supernatural Races, each failure is a massive setback. For Humans, each failure is another branch that bore no fruit. Luckily they have dozens more, and if even those fail… Well, we have a shit ton of trees with a shit ton of branches to check." I shrug as her gaze lights up in understanding.
"It's because we live long lives, so we don't seek improvement, as we see little need for it, but Humans…" She trails off, humming softly with a smile on her face.
Oh right, I got a question for her.
"Say, what do you think of Ajuka?" She groans at that, her voice full of disgust as a sneer crosses her face.
"'History's Smartest Devil' my ass! Everything he has created was ripped off from the Humans creation, and the only slightly decent thing he made is the Evil Pieces System so to fix the fertility problem the current Devils are facing… But it doesn't fix anything!"
"The fertility of the Reincarnated Devils is also affected and ruined during the transformation, thus making the Evil Pieces completely obsolete. Hell, if I didn't know any better, I'd say it's just an excuse so to build a massive army. One with a massive, glaring flaw."
I blink and turn to look at her again, and she smirks at me. "If you destroy the Devil Pool, all Evil Pieces will stop working, turning all Reincarnated Devils back to normal." Now that's something that I love hearing.
I imagine that's because the Devil Pool is actually alive, and it's what is keeping the Evil Pieces working- No, Ajuka is keeping them working, the Devil Pool is just keeping them active. Or at least that's what I think.
I haven't studied that thing, nor do I plan to. I plan on erasing it off the face of the Underworld once and for all as soon as possible.
"Not even his Kankara Formula impressed you?" I ask with a raised brow, and she gives me a deadpan look.
"It took him years to create it. It took me ten minutes to replicate it without even witnessing it." I blink, then give her an impressed whistle.
"I mean… It's just calculating and changing the numbers of every single in existence to achieve a desired effect or make it do something completely different. It's basically using magic without the need of a magic circle, and using the power of calculation to affect and manipulate the laws of Reality… Yeeaaah, it's quite easy now that I think about it." She snorts again, hiding her giggles behind her gloved hand.
"The only reason his Kankara Formula is so terrifying is because he created a Spirit to help him do high-speed calculations and process it all in the shortest amount of time as possible." She shrugs, popping her chin on her gloved palm, clearly not thinking much about Ajuka and his 'accomplishments'.
Still, a Spirit, huh? That's good to know…
"Then I guess you won't mind if I kill him?" She perks up at that, her eyes widening a great deal before a nearly predatory grin spreads across her face.
"How may I be of assistance?" I snort at that, then hum softly.
"I have a way to kill him, but if it fails, then he'll be on guard and I might never get a second chance." She nods but keeps quiet, giving me a quiet 'go on', so I shrug and decide to share my plan.
"I have created a weapon that is the bane of all Devils. A Holy Nuke, which disperses magical Holy Light Ionizing radiations, thousands of times deadlier than Holy Light Poisoning. Holy Radiation Poisoning is so deadly that it literally melts the skin off Devils, no matter how strong they may be." Her eyes widen to the size of dinner plates, and she cups her chin and narrows her eyes.
"How did you even manage to create such a thing?"
"Luck, and through a dumb thought." She nearly falls off her chair at that, making me snort softly. "I had a weird thought while writing down my notes years ago. If I smelt and create a sword normally, I get a normal sword… but if I do it with magic, I get a magical sword. The same with fire. If I create fire with a lighter and fuel, then I get normal fire. But if I create it through magic, I get magical Fire."
"And then I went and thought… 'What if I split an atom the magical way?'" She stares at me as if I went insane, but I shrug and keep going. "It worked, gave Azazel a heart attack, but it worked. Took a while to clear the magical radiation waste, but it was worth it."
"So then I did the same test, but with elemental magic. Had a lot of failures, and quite a few successes, but then I managed to work out the Holy Nuke. I also have a Holy Thermonuclear Bomb, which is reserved for someone else." Rizevim, I'm looking at you.
Got a big fucking present for your bitch-ass buddy.
"You…" Echidna pants, clear arousal on her face, making me shiver in slight disgust, but I hold back the urge to slap the laptop shut. "Your mind truly arouses me like no other mind has ever done…" Resist. The fucking. Urge.
"But still…" She coughs into her fist, recovering her bearings, but her cheeks remain flushed. "If he sees it coming, he might find a way against it with the Kankara Formula." I nod, then smirk.
"And that's why I created the Anti-Mana bomb too. Erases all Mana, both in the atmosphere and inside living beings, in the blast radius. Which is around a kilometer." I explain with a feral grin. "Once it goes off, it will instantly kill his Spirit and deprive him of all of his powers, leaving him very, very vulnerable to the Holy Nuke."
She opens her mouth, then closes it and rubs her chin. "It's Anti-Mana, not Anti-Devil Energy." She points out, but I shrug.
"Same usage method, hence it gets erased too." She tilts her head in confusion, making me sigh. Must I explain everything here? "Have you ever thought how all beings can manipulate Mana? Our brain moves our body by sending electric signals, hence it does the same to Mana."
"We use Mana and manipulate it through a specific electrical signal, I just had to find it, then replicate it and have the Anti-Mana bomb tell all Mana in the blast radius to fuck off and disperse. The Spirit will be ripped apart, and Ajuka will be left powerless. The Holy Nuke then goes off, and ends both him and the Devil Pool." I clap my hands together and finish my explanation. "Simple as that."
Echidna blinks, then shudders in clear arousal. Oh for fuck's sake woman! "The way you make killing a Satan sound so easy is so arousing…" My exasperated sigh makes her giggle in amusement, so I just facepalm.
Let's just change the argument.
"Anyway, do you have the answer to the important questions I gave you?" She perks up at that, and a brilliant smile crosses her face.
"I almost forgot, but yes, I have them!" She straightens herself as I give her my full attention. "For the Space related question, the only thing I could think of is a Spatial Barrier." I narrow my eyes in confusion at that.
That sounds familiar.
"It's also known as Boundary Field Barrier, where people can enter it, but nothing can leave it, even Mana. It's what is used to created separate Dimensions, like Olympus, the alternate cities where the Youkai's live, so on and so forth." She explains once she saw my confusion, making my gaze light up in understanding.
"By using that, you will be able to make it so that the Mana won't disperse as easily through Space, since you'll keep it located in a specific location." How the fuck did I not think about that before!?
Some answers really won't come to you unless they hit you straight in the face…
"I feel so dumb for not thinking about it sooner…" I sigh as she shrugs with a pleasant giggle.
"To be honest, not many know that Spatial Barriers have this specific function." I hum, then shrug and nod my head.
I gotta ask Yasaka how Spatial Barriers are made, then place it around my Orbital Station.
"May I ask why you require such a thing?" I look at Echidna, then shrug. She helped me out, so might as well give her the answer.
"I plan on setting up an Orbital Station in Space in a few days, then use it to launch drones and ships to the Moon and the other planets so to Terraform them." She gapes at me for a good few seconds before she finally recovers.
"You're kidding me…" I simply give her a smile, and her eyes widen more and more. "You'll kick-start your own Space Age… And make it look so easy…" I sigh when she actually moans aloud. I swear to fucking God…
"On to the next answer!" I call out over her moaning fit, making her shudder but swiftly recover her bearings.
But she still retains that pleased lustful smile on her face. "Regarding on how to cleanse the demonic presence from an object, the answer is simple. Use Spiritual Energy, and constantly attack the demonic presence until it's fully gone." My hand meets my face once more.
So I can cleanse the demonic presence from SIVA so easily?!
I feel so dumb for not thinking about it before!
But in my defense, I just recently acquired the ability to use Spiritual Energy, so…
"I hate to admit it, but you're a damn blessing… Devil or not…" She smiles brightly, but then it falls slightly as she hesitates.
"May I ask why you hate Devils so much…?" I look at her for a few seconds before turning back to my telescope, then sigh softly.
"When I was young, a group of Devils broke into my home and proceeded to torture and rape my mother right in front of me." I give her a look as she pales slightly. "That a good enough reason?" She gulps, then nods and apologizes under her breath for prying, making me sigh and rub the back of my neck.
"I know that it's… slightly irrational. I'm blaming the whole race for the doings of a few, but I can't help it, nor do I want to." She waves her hand, indicating that it's alright.
"If there was a way for me to change my race so to make you more at ease during our talks, I would gladly do it. The only good thing I got from being born a Devil is my Clan Trait, the rest was all just a baggage, and an annoyance." This… makes me see her in a new light.
Perhaps I've been too harsh towards her, but I can't really help it. It's instinctual by now.
"What about your family?" I ask softly. "I remember that the Dantalion House went extinct. You are the last one… don't you miss them?" She hums softly, then shakes her head.
"I am the Original Dantalion. The first ever to be created, made to be far better than those that came after me. I had no husband nor children, just brothers, sisters and nephews… Yet held no sense of belonging or familial love towards them."
"So no, I do not miss them. I don't even know when they all died, nor do I care to know. But…" She smiles softly, then shakes her head. "I've always wanted to know what a mother's love felt like." Right, Lilith never loved any of her children…
They are all just super-weapons made for war. Nothing more, nothing less.
Yet now I'm starting to feel sorry for Echidna.
She didn't chose any of this. To be born a Devil, to be made and seen as a mere weapon by her own mother.
And then, when she had a chance to gain control over all of the Devil Race… she gave it up and left them.
She doesn't mind even giving up on her own race just so I could be more at ease with her.
This reminds me on why I didn't go the genocide route. Because deep down I know that there are innocent Devils, but I just can't hold back my hate.
Especially when I see those that have the Evil Pieces.
Hell, I hate Rias so damn much because all of her slaves were gifted to her by her dumb brother, cause there's no fucking way she got so lucky three fucking times in a row.
Akeno, Kiba and Gasper, then Shirone was gifted to her.
I'd hate Riser too, but the dude is clearly head over heels for the woman he was walking with when we ran into each other that day. I'll withhold my final judgement when I see how he is with the rest of his peerage.
Plus, it might just be me, but I feel more… calm and collected since Yasaka awakened my Spiritual Energy.
I wonder if it has anything to do with it.
I shake my head and sigh. "I'll try and be less… hostile towards you. You are helping me out, so you deserve that much." Her smile lights up at that, and I shrug. "Plus, I'm sure this is also why Azazel wanted me to keep in contact with you. In hopes that I become less trigger-happy towards Devils."
Echidna's lips twitch slightly at that. "Yes please, I'd rather not be on the receiving hand of your Orbital Cannons once more." She gives me an innocent smile when I give her a deadpan look.
"You're going to hold that over my head for years to come, will you?"
"Yep! To think that I now can tease the great Architect!" She gives me a haughty ojou-sama laugh that makes my trigger finger twitch several times.
"I still have the coordinates to your Dimension, you know?" I point out, and she stops laughing.
She blinks, then she smirks. "I've changed Dimension now!" Oh for fuck's sake…
I groan and swiftly hit a few keys on my laptop, making her blink as she receives another large file. "There, have more notes." She gasps in excitement and hops forward just as the video call ends, making me sigh and lean back.
I guess I know how to make her go quiet now…
I perk up when the sound of footsteps on sand reaches my ears, making me turn around and blink when I see Artoria approaching.
"Hey." A small smile spreads across her lips as I greet her, and I watch as she stops right beside before kneeling down on the sand, not caring about dirtying her jeans or turtleneck sweater. "The party was too much for you?" I ask, and she gently shakes her head.
"I just… don't know what to do." I blink in confusion as that. "I don't know how to have a normal conversation with those around me. Our experiences are all so different, and all I remember is just… loneliness and war, and I do not wish to ruin the mood, or make things weird."
I smile softly at her, and reach down to gently hold her hand. "You are once more experiencing emotions, and you just started too, so it's normal to feel like that."
"It's normal to feel overwhelmed by all these new things. Food, sleep, emotions, everything. But don't let it drag you down. We all understand, and I am here for you." I give her hand a gentle squeeze, and she gives a squeeze right back as her bright eyes meet mine. "If there's anything I can do for you, just say it. I want to help you feel as comfortable as possible."
Honestly, I feel bad that this is happening to her now. She's completely overwhelmed by emotions and everything around her now that she is in a constant state of confusion, not knowing how to deal with pretty much anything.
There's nothing I can do other than be there for her and support her through her journey of getting used to all these new things.
Plus, it's kind of clear she is addicted to this. Not in the bad way of course, but I can tell that she wants to feel more and more.
"Then… Will you make love to me?" I blink, then blink again… Process her words… then choke on air.
"W-Wha-!?" I shake my head and gape at her. "Where did you suddenly get this crazy idea!?" I nearly shout, then gape when she instantly and innocently points back towards the beach house.
"Lady Yasaka and Miss Hiyori suddenly started giving a crash course on how to make love to the man you love to everyone, and that it'll feel amazing, and that we'll feel loved, warm, nice and-" What the fuck are those two doing in there?!
I leave for ten fucking minutes and this shit happens!
Wait! Kogarashi is still in there! My guy! Is he even still alive!?
I cup my face in my hands and scream as loudly as I can, holding back the urge to just charge back into the house and put a stop to that madness.
Mostly because I am afraid they will tie me up and use me as demonstration, which sounds both hot and terrifying.
"Is it… wrong?" I peek through a gap between my fingers and stare at Artoria looking up at me with those wide innocent eyes of hers. "Is it wrong that I want to feel loved and good?" Why must thou ask me such a difficult question when looking so fucking adorable and innocent?!
I wanna scream so fucking loudly right now.
"It's not wrong, but this isn't something you can just ask anyone!" I protest softly, and she tilts her head to the side.
"But I didn't plan to ask anyone. I asked you." The need to scream is growing.
"Why me then?" Quick, buy time so to wiggle out of this! I don't want to take advantage of her, for fuck's sake!
"Because you bought me out of that scary, empty and cold darkness, and gave me back my feelings. My emotions. My… everything." Oh… Oh fuck…
She is dependent on me now… She thinks that I am the only one that can make her feel things, so she latches onto those chances…
Fuck's sake, I need to thread carefully now.
"Okay, listen…" I sigh and gently hold her hands, then give her a warm smile. "You are overwhelmed by everything, by all the things that you are experiencing right now. You need to get used to this, so give it some time." I mull over my words, then sigh softly. "One month. If in a month's time you still feel the same way, then…" I didn't finish my sentence, but Artoria understands, then nods with a small smile on her beautiful face.
Why does everything have to lead back to sex for me? Fuck's sake…
"Now, let's go back inside before Yasaka and Hiyori make an even bigger mess…" I sigh and stand up, forgetting everything about star-gazing, especially since it has gotten quite late.
The sun will rise in a while, and the attack on Kuoh will start in one or two hours. I can start it earlier by sending Kokabiel a signal, but I don't see a reason to.
I walk into the large living room with a deadpan face, bringing a stop to the squeals, giggles and screams echoing all over.
Yasaka and Hiyori hide their smirks behind their cups, then share a stealthy high-five while Chisaki lays on the ground face down, emitting noises similar to a boiling tea-kettle.
Jack is clearly trying and almost failing at holding back her laughter, with Karna appearing as collected as ever, but the sheer amusement in her eyes and the twitching of her lips don't help her case one bit.
I sigh and scan the living room until I find Kogarashi, then walk up to him and pat the dude on the shoulder.
He doesn't move, nor breathe, nor say anything. He is gone.
"I'm sorry little one…" My guy literally passed out on the couch out of sheer embarrassment…
I give Kuroka the stink eye as she snickers and cackles while trying to hide behind Shirone, who looks already done with life.
Guess Kuroka annoyed the shit out of her… Well, that's a big sister for ya!
I give the two beautiful Milfs a deadpan look. "I'll take care of you two later." I promise them as I call for a Droid to take the vegetative state Kogarashi back home and into his bed.
"Oh, I know how you can take care of me." Both Milfs purr out at the same time while wiggling their brows, then pause, share a look, and proceed to give each other a proud nod.
These two are going to be the death of me. And I'm going to love it.
"Feel free to stay here for the rest of the day, and enjoy the beach." I tell the two Milfs and Chisaki, then hum and turn towards Lavinia. "Same for you, Lavi." She gives me a sweet tired smile in return, clearly taking me up on the offer.
She isn't using magic to keep herself awake and full of energy, so spending the entire night awake has clearly tired her out.
"What about me?" Kuroka asks with a cute pout, lowering her kimono and pushing her arms together so to make her already huge breasts look a lot bigger.
I don't even give her breasts a glance and simply walk my way towards the adorably sleeping Kunou. "Feel free to stay too." She cheers, then sulks when her seduction attempt fails.
I pick up the small girl that might as well become my step-daughter soon enough and gently hold her into a princess carry, ignoring the rather burning gaze Yasaka is currently sending me.
My hips, my dick… you shall be missed.
I walk past Chisaki, then pause and look down at her slumped form. "You still alive there?" I ask softly, then nod when I receive a groan and twitch from her.
She'll be alright… Maybe.
I take Kunou to a nearby room and gently tuck her into bed with a smile on my face, then hum as Yasaka envelopes me into a warm hug from behind, pulling my head against her large and soft breasts.
"This is the calm before the storm, isn't it?" She asks gently, and I sigh softly through my nostrils.
The Satans, or at least just Lucifer and the dumb Leviathan, will be absolutely livid after today.
And then even more so after the 'peace meetings', where I'll kick all the Devils back into the Underworld and make Earth off limits for them.
And then kill Ajuka of course.
It won't even really be a war since I can fuck 'em up instantly.
Their losses will keep stacking up while I can just rebuild my army endlessly, and laugh at them from my Orbital Station.
"Don't worry, none of that will ever reach any of you." I promise Yasaka, giving her soft hand a gentle squeeze, and receiving a soft hum from her before she leans down to kiss me.
It was short, but it conveyed her feelings, and it helped me relax a great deal.
I give her hand one last squeeze before I leave her with Kunou, then go join Lavinia, who had already changed into her night attire.
Which… is very revealing and sexy, but I do my best to control myself.
She blinks, then smiles at me as she sits on her comfy bed, then pats the sport right beside her.
I sit down with a smile and wrap my arm around her waist, pulling her close as she sleepily hums, looking so incredibly adorable and beautiful. "Make sure to stay safe, okay?" I snort softly at that.
The amount of protection I have is no joke, with my Legion and army and even my Servants, and the Orbital weapons.
Plus, once I turn everything to Ether powered weapons, that defense is going to be ten times greater, if not hundreds of times.
I just need resources, which I'll acquire from all over the Solar System.
Once I have the spatial coordinates to all the major planets and the Asteroid Belt, then I can start opening portals and sending millions of drones through.
I can't fucking wait to walk on Mars…
"Don't worry, I'll be safe." I reassure her, giving her hip a squeeze as she hums softly.
"Suzaku called me recently." Uh-oh… "She's finally done with bringing the Five Principal Clans beneath her, and asked for help in preparing a present for you." Okay… I didn't expect that from Suzaku.
A present for me, huh? I wonder what they come up with.
"Shouldn't it be a surprise?" I ask, and she merely shrugs, making her assets bounce wildly, much to my hidden enjoyment.
"Not really. You might get it today, or in the coming days…" She yawns out, and I hum, then just shrug and decide to wait.
Suzaku giving me a present, one that seemingly doesn't involve anything sexual…
I don't trust it.
That chick is a sexual hazard that will wring me dry the moment I let my guard down, and very likely do it with the intention of getting knocked up.
And to be honest, I don't really mind anymore.
My Orbital Station is being created and worked on, my Ether technology is in the works, and terraforming the Moon and the other planets won't be that hard thanks to Magic.
I don't have a reason to hold back anymore, and can finally make up with the girls that I love and be upfront about it, as there is basically nothing that can put them in danger right now.
Once I clear SIVA of the demonic presence, I'll be nothing short of a technological God, and turning the entire Solar System into a fortress/living paradise will be laughably easy.
So yeah, fuck holding back. I'll soon have the overwhelming power I need to make sure they will be safe, and I'll also soon have a paradise ready for them to live on if they want.
Hell, they can pick the Moon, or Mars, or even living on Saturn's rings!
Or one of the many Topopolis that I am going to build, because fuck yeah I am building those things, they look so fucking good.
I exit Lavinia's room and close the door as she tucks herself into the bed, and I walk back into the now more empty living room, with Hiyori helping her tired and very embarrassed daughter off the floor while Kuroka is hugging Shirone tightly.
Said white haired cat pulls away from the hug once she notices me, a sad frown on her face as she approaches me. "I need to go back. The Leviathan came over." I raise a surprised brow at that.
That's earlier than expected, and I hope she leaves soon, lest I'll have to kill two Satans, not just one.
Plus, I doubt Artoria will have any trouble against any of the Devils with how horrifyingly powerful her Light is.
Sirzechs maybe, but that fucker is an annoying wildcard.
Hence why I made my Orbital Cannons powerful enough to punch a continent sized hole through the planet with ease.
He better be grateful for the fucking effort that took.
"Don't worry." I nod at her with a small smile as I open a portal inside the forest behind the school beside her. "A little bit more, and you'll be free from those fuckers." She bites her lower lip as her eyes redden slightly, so she swiftly nods and walks through the portal, clearly hating to show any sort of weakness.
Kuroka watches with a small smile as the portal shuts close, then sighs before surprisingly coming close and hugging me tightly.
"Thank you so much for this…" I blink, then don't have time to hug her back as she breaks the hug, places a kiss on my cheek, then goes to leave towards one of the free rooms.
I don't stop her, as I see that she is in a very heavy mood.
She tries to put on an act that she is okay, but she really isn't, and that act is cracking now that she knows her sister is okay.
It won't be long until she crumbles, has a huge breakdown, then comes back feeling better. Hopefully.
I hum, then turn to look towards my beautiful Servants, all sitting on the couch and waiting patiently. "Looks like our peaceful times are coming to an end." I sigh out, then pause when Jack snorts softly.
"For like… a couple of days. Or hours." She shrugs, then gives me a piercing look. "I know that you won't let us fight in your war." Karna glares slightly at me, but I just shrug with a relaxed smile.
I care about all of them as much as I care about my loved ones. I ain't putting none of them at risk, and the only reason I am even letting them fight in the coming battle is because I know they can wash the floors with the pathetic fucks that will be attacking.
"I don't see a reason to put you girls in danger when I have an ever growing army that can be rebuilt. Over and over." I hum, then scrunch up my nose. "Plus, you give the Devils too much credit."
"It's just them, plus any ally that will be dumb enough to side with them for whatever reason." The Angels won't help them, and neither will the Fallen Angels.
Hades will very likely side with me so to get back more of his Underworld after the Devils rudely took more land than they should of.
Who might join them?
Indra maybe? After he learns I killed his pets and threw their body in a ditch to rot, like they deserve, he might as well just join up with 'em. Or he might not.
The Norse Pantheon won't either, since Odin is pals with Azazel and Freya is my teacher and she absolutely fucking adores me.
Thor just might, mostly out of spite for that mild prank I pulled off.
I put a simple spell on him that made it so he couldn't get drunk.
First time I saw someone get so mad so fast.
That poor Einherjar that got drilled in the skull by Mijolnir for laughing won't be forgotten.
Either way… Do the Devils even have allies?
They aren't hated as much as the now non-existent vampires, but they are still hated quite a bit due to the bullshit they did in the past.
And surprisingly enough, for the Evil Pieces System. Quite a lot of the people turned Reincarnated Devils are kidnapped, and forcefully turned.
The thing about consent isn't true. As long as one is far stronger than the person they want to turn, then it's just a matter of holding them down and pushing the damn thing into them.
Then bam, ya got a new obedient slave, too afraid to revolt as they don't wish to become mindless monsters.
So yeah, the more I think about it, the more I can't really think of any possible allies the Devils have.
Maybe the Dragons? But those are laughably easy to kill, so nothing to worry about.
…
Jesus Christ, the Devils are so fucked.
Well, to be fair… They'd be fucked either way, allies or no allies.
"Come on, let's go back home." I stretch my back and open my portal, letting the girls go through as Murasaki yawns slightly.
She isn't used to interacting a lot with people, but turns out that Yasaka was actually good friends with the Murasaki of this world, so they both hit it off quite well.
I got the a trio of Milf hitting it off very well… If I get dragged in a foursome with all three of them, I'm fucked.
Not even Magic is gonna help my ass escape that.
I don't even have the time to step through the portal before I'm hit by several warnings of a Devil having teleported on my property without permission.
And then it's followed by several and rather loud knocks.
I breathe in, then breathe out through my nostrils.
Don't vaporize the fucking Devil on the front porch… Not yet, at least.
Sensing my bad mood, Artoria swiftly changes from her causal clothing to her regal Lion King one, her hair changing and her furred coat billowing out with a flash of light.
I scrunch up my nose, then walk to the door with Artoria behind me, her face set into a rather deep frown as she hides her glowing hands beneath her coat.
I open the door, then groan in disgust at the sight. "Well, if it ain't fucking Levia-Tan herself. In all her ugly ass glory." I frown at the centuries old chick dressed in an embarrassing magical girl outfit, a furious frown on her face.
"First of all, I want to throw up, but I don't want to dirty my front porch. Second of all, don't teleport on my property without permission."
"And third of all, what the fuck do you want? I hope it's worth the waste of time and sheer revulsion you bring with your presence alone." The furious frown on her face, twitching of her eyebrows and flaring of her nostrils and magical power make a refreshed smile spread across my face.
She opens her mouth to speak even as the air grows colder and colder, but whatever she was about to say dies in her throat as Artoria steps up beside me, the air vibrating with her sheer presence as her hair and eyes release a faint glow.
A silent threat, but one that is swiftly understood and received by the pathetic Satan.
At least she hasn't dulled that much since the Civil War, and still has some good senses on her.
She can tell that Artoria is very fucking powerful. Sad that she doesn't want to fuck around and find out just how powerful.
What a disappointment.
She warily licks her lips, then recomposes herself and breathes in. "One of Rias's servants has recently been forced to go stray, and I am here to find out what happened. You are one of the suspects, so you are coming with me." Don't hit her with an Orbital Laser. At least not yet.
I hum, squash down my anger, then give her a very fake smile. "Go on ahead and take us there then." I shrug, allowing her shoulder to relax slightly as Artoria steps up into the quickly forming magic circle beneath us.
And we soon vanish with a flash of dark light, then appear within a decent sized room.
"You!" I perk up and turn my head to stare at the person that just spoke, then blink when I see Riser glaring at me.
I nod at him with a growing smirk. "Hope ya liked the food!"
He flares his nostrils. "It was spicy!" He growls out, and my smirk only grows bigger, which ticks him off even more.
"You got power over fire and can't handle some spicy food… pussy." I snort at him, making him growl even more before he scoffs and sits back down beside the giggling woman near him.
I flick my gaze around the room, ignore Sona and her whipped dogs, then hum when I see Rias and her current state.
Emotionless eyes, dark bags under her eyes, magic constantly fluctuating in suppressed anger and other negative emotions… Heh, good.
Shirone is lazing by the window, looking like she wants nothing more than just leave.
Akeno is standing right beside the seated Rias, a scowl on her face as she looks at me.
The fuck she glaring at me for? Ain't like I'm the one who shanked her…
"So, what the fuck do you want?" I ask rather crudely as I pop down on the nearby seat, patting the spot next to me as I look at Artoria, but she doesn't take it and remains standing and on guard.
Man, someone makes a wrong move here and they are so fucked…
I make a show of looking around, then hum in understanding. "Guess the one that went crazy was Kiba, huh?" Rias flinches at my words. "Can't even keep your damn dogs on a leash, fucking hell…" And she snaps, slamming her hands on the desk in front of her as her weak as hell Power of Destruction erupts around her body.
"Do not call them that!" She screams at me, but I ignore her and simply pull my phone out, then glance at the scowling Leviathan.
"Can we get on with it?" I drawl out, making her press her lips into a thin line as Sona and Akeno glare viciously at me. Like I give a fuck.
"Do you know, or have you seen anything, relating to the attacks on Kiba?" Serafall asks as she crosses her arms with a frown on her face, and I am very sure that if Artoria wasn't here with me she'd try to intimidate me by flexing her power.
I need to get her to fuck off back to the Underworld one way or the other.
Might as well bomb the Sitri main mansion in the Underworld I guess…
I hum and tap away on my phone, then answer. "Yeah, I do." Their eyes widen at that. "But you worded it wrongly. They weren't attacks on Kiba. He started the attacks, both times."
"Yuuto would never do something like that!" Rias instantly protests, making me groan and roll my eyes.
"I don't know how you fucks work, I just know that this exorcist was passing by Kuoh, decided to take care of a nearby Stray Devil while he was at it then be on his merry way, only for Kiba to arrive, then start spouting bullshit about Holy Swords and start swinging his swords around like a fucking madman until he got his ass beaten black and blue." I shrug, effortlessly lying through my teeth and making up a whole scenario like it's nothing.
And on the fly too. I got talent for this shit.
I ignore how Rias, Akeno and Serafall pale once I mention the Holy Sword bit and keep going. "The second time was while the same exorcist decided to finish the job and find the Stray Devil that Kiba let escape due to going feral… Only for the moron to find the poor guy again and attack him in the middle of the street. After beating him again, the exorcist just up and fucking left."
I nod at Rias with an encouraging smile. "Nice fucking hospitality ya teach your slaves." Not that she knows better.
Her way to introduce herself to other is just flashing her tits, her power, her slaves, then go 'This is my place, and I rule here' and shit like that.
"And you didn't say anything before this?" Serafall fumes, clearly furious, making me wonder if she's even gonna question how truthful I am.
I give her a confused look. "I don't owe you or the spoiled brat nothing. So why would I waste my very precious time telling either of you anything? Only reason I keep an eye on you guys is because I don't trust you, and after your boy went feral, I clearly have good reasons not to." I shrug again, and she flares her nostrils and tenses her jaw, but hold back as she flicks her gaze towards Artoria.
"Do you know where he is?" Rias finally asks, clearly trying and failing to suppress her anger, disgust and hate towards me.
I look at her straight in the eye and smile. "He's dead." As of right now. I'm not one to leave any loose ends, especially with unwilling test subjects.
Rias pales and drops back on her seat, having clearly lost all strength in her limbs as tears well up in her eyes.
I'd feel bad, but I'm an asshole. So I don't.
"Or at least I think he is." I shrug, making her gaze snap back towards me. "The exorcist made camp into the abandoned church, Kiba found him and went inside, and the exorcist came outside a bit later. Kiba never did." I shrug, then hold back a yawn as I type a message to Kokabiel.
Me: The fucking Leviathan is here. What a pain in the ass.
Kokabiel: What did you do this time?
Me: Turned one of the Gremory's pawns into an unwilling test subject and made him go stray.
Kokabiel: That's so like you that I'm not even surprised.
Kokabiel: Will you be alright with her there? Should we call the attack off?
Me: Nah, I just bombed the Sitri mansion back in the Underworld. Won't be long until she skedaddles back.
Me: And if she doesn't, I'll just aim my Orbital Laser at her.
Kokabiel: You have an Orbital Laser?!
Me: On God fr fr
Kokabiel: Stop.
Kokabiel: What else have you made that you haven't told me?
Me: I'm about to finish, then send my Orbital Station into space.
Me: Then terraform the Moon. And Mars. And build a mansion on Saturn's rings.
"Are you listening to me?!" Serafall ugly ass voice makes me groan and look away from my phone.
"I am. I'm just ignoring you." I actually wasn't listening, but making her even more mad is fun.
Hell, even Riser thinks the same. I don't miss the way he is trying and failing to hide his smile or snorts through coughing and drinking.
"Are we done here?" I ask through a yawn, hiding my smirk when Sona's and Serafall's phones vibrate quite loudly.
"You disgust me." I perk up and raise an amused brow towards the fuming and frowning Akeno. Did she just…?
Oh, am boutta hand this hoe whole career.
I look at her up and down, then sneer. "Please shut the fuck up, you lower the IQ of every single being on this continent whenever you speak through that retarded mouth of yours."
"I disgust you? Big whoop. I hope at least it ain't for all the wrong reasons since ya went and did it with your pops like a dumb-ass!"
I cackle as she all but snarls, her magic erupting out of her body in a pathetic show of force. "You don't know nothing!" She all but screams, and I laugh in her face.
"Bitch, the fuck you mean by 'You don't know nothing'? I know more than you!"
"It wasn't your daddy's fault that your mama died, little girl. It was your mama's clan that went and murdered her because she fell in love and had a kid with a Fallen Angel." I sneer at her, then smirk. "How do I know this shit? Because I fuck your cousin." Not really true, but we did have a hot make-out session once. Goddamn is Suzaku a good kisser.
"But it's okay if you don't believe me, you can ask your cunt of a master to tell you the truth she kept from you all these years." I nod at Rias, making her pale as Akeno snaps her furious and betrayed gaze towards her. "C'mon, go ahead. Tell her how one of your family servants stopped Akeno's Maternal Uncle from killing her too so that she could be your dog."
I cross my arms and shrug, then look at the paling and betrayed looking Akeno with pity. "I feel pity for you since your master is so incompetent."
"She kept the truth from you, could have helped Kiba out with his issues but didn't and now he went Stray and got killed."
"She is delusional that Shirone is actually going through just a phase when she actually hates her to the core for taking away her freedom and keeping her away from her only remaining family."
"And let's not talk about the poor Damphir she keeps locked up for 'his own safety'." I make sure to air quote the last part with no small amount of disgust before shaking my head and sighing.
I look at Serafall as she finally finishes her call, a murderous glare on her face while Sona is both incredibly worried and incredibly furious. They both heard what I said while they were told about the bombing attack on their home from whoever was on the phone.
"Something urgent just happened, so I need to leave." She pretty much growls out through gritted teeth, then glares at me. "I'll be back to have more words with you." I sneer and stand as she creates a magic circle below her feet. Fucking finally.
"Oh, please…" I chuckle softly. "Our next talk won't be pleasant at all. Neither for your, or for your other Satans." Confusion flashes across her eyes before she teleports away, allowing me to groan and grab my phone again.
"How do you know so much?" Sona speaks up, fixing her glasses and doing her best to be intimidating. Which is a very pathetic attempt. "Who the hell are you?"
I smile brightly and dial Kokabiel's number. "You want the short answer?" I hum and press the call button and bring the phone to my ears.
Shirone perks up, then smirks as a portal opens up right below the window she is leaning against.
"I am Architect." They all freeze as I smirk. "Now, if you'll excuse me. I need to declare war on your entire species real quick."
Kokabiel finally picks up, making me smile. "Yeah, Kokabiel? Bitch-Tan just left, so go ahead and start the attack." He quickly shuts the call after that, clearly deciding not to waste any time as everyone in the room pales while a certain white haired cat swiftly disappears through the hidden portal.
I snap my fingers, letting my drones create a sky-blue dome around Sona and her peerage, and making it big enough to swallow Rias and Akeno too, much to her surprise, shock and growing fear.
I turn to look at the surprised Riser, then hum. "I suggest you go back to the Underworld. You don't wanna get caught in the crossfire." His eyes widen in shock, then he gives me a confused look as he stands. "I pity you because you are being forced to marry that dumb cunt. Nobody deserves that kind of Hell." He actually snorts softly, then sends a complicated look towards the shouting Sona and Rias, their voices being cut off by the protective dome around them.
Luckily, he swiftly shakes his head and focuses on bringing is loved one out of danger, so he teleports back to the Underworld in a burst of flames.
Just in time for the entire city to be swallowed by an entire formation that puts all humans to sleep.
My drones instantly get to work in bringing people back to their respective homes and to safety as my Legion is deployed through the city by hundreds of portals.
"Be nice girls and stay here alright?" I smile mockingly towards the still shouting Devils, but swiftly turn away and look at the quiet Artoria.
"Wait for my signal, okay?" She smiles softly down at me, then nods and steps aside as I crack my neck.
Time to go fuck with Kokabiel for a bit!
XxX
Michael sighs softly as his hand gently glides across the glistening gold metal that makes the Throne of Heaven.
The once warm, and glowing throne is now cold. Lifeless.
The place where his Father used to sit on, now empty.
Sometimes he still gets lost in the memories, sad and slightly angry at himself for not enjoying those times as much as he should have.
And now, he is the one sitting on the throne, yet he can barely even operate it.
He had tried to make his siblings sit on it, to see if perhaps they were the chosen ones, the next in line, but nothing. The reaction would always be the same.
Thus, they started sharing the duties, and using the throne to keep Heaven as functional as it possible.
The System for the sins, the System for the prayers, for the Souls, so many things stopped working perfectly, and required their constant attention, by not only the Seraphs, but all the other Angels.
It was truly a constant team effort, and yet, stress, sadness, resignation, all those things kept taking more and more of the Angels away.
Many still can't live without Father, him included, but they keep persisting.
'I don't want to make any more rules.' He remembers his Father saying one time, one of the few times he'd be on the Second Heaven, just observing the stars. 'I'm a dreamer… Yet now I feel like a jailer. Putting so many shackles, upon shackles, on you all. On my own children… It's pathetic.'
At that time, he had no words. He didn't know what to say, as any words swimming by his head felt wrong, bad, evil.
'What will you all do when I am not here? You all still haven't spread your wings, after all. You all are still babies within the mother's nest, getting fed, and living without worries… But things move forward, Michael. Whether we like it or not, Time always moves forward.'
Michael still remembers the smile on His face when he said those words.
'I hope I'll be here to see you all grow and spread your wings. But it's alright if you can't. I'll always love you all, and I'll always be proud of you all.'
And to this day, he still doesn't know what Father meant with those words.
The answer is there… yet it just seems so fleeting. It keeps escaping his reach, no matter how much he tries to dwell on it.
Not that he has much time to dwell on it. Neither him or his siblings do.
But he knows that he must keep on pushing forward. No matter what.
One day, all of their efforts will surely be reward. Of that he is sure about.
Another sigh escapes his lips, then his large golden wings flash a few times, making him pause and raise a curious eyebrow.
He gives the throne, and the System behind it, one last look before teleporting out of the Seventh Heaven and into the Sixth, where he and his siblings reside.
He appears within the main lobby, and swiftly notices several things.
The temperature is incredibly high, as if he just stepped into a furnace, with air twisting and warping heavily from just how high the heat is.
Another thing he notices his that all of the other Seraphs are gathered in the lobby, showing slight worry on their faces.
And the last thing he notices is Uriel, who is walking back and forth with a furious snarl on his face, his wings glowing with intense blazing purple flames.
His horrid mood clearly being the source of the intense heat.
Michael holds himself back from scolding his brother for loosing his cool, deciding that it has to be something incredibly serious to affect him to such a degree.
"Uriel." A gentle and calm voice speaks up, bringing Uriel to a stop, the snarl on his face dissipating as an impossibly beautiful woman steps up to him, resting her hand on his large, muscular arm. "Calm yourself, brother. It pains me to see you like so." The woman whispers gently, and Uriel lowers his head in shame.
Michael smiles softly at that. Leave it to Gabriel to be able to calm her brother with just a few words.
"Good." Gabriel nods, lowering her hands before her. "Next time I'll pinch you though." A collective shiver ran down the backs of all the Seraphims in the lobby, their faces paling considerably, especially Uriel's.
Even Father feared Gabriel's pinches…
Gabriel giggles faintly once she notices their reactions, her impossibly long glowing golden hair dragging on the floor alongside her bright white sundress, both looking like a waterfall of liquid gold and platinum.
No wonder everyone says she is the most beautiful woman in Heaven.
Her azure eyes glowed with happiness and warmth as she stood to the side, letting Uriel gather his bearings once more so to let him speak.
"Forgive me for calling you all so suddenly, but this…" Uriel clenches his jaw and raises his large right hand, showing that it was holding a large slip of paper. A picture. "This, is important." He flares his nostrils and offers the picture to Michael without any further words.
Michael takes it and shares a look with Uriel, then flips it around to stare at what made his brother so irate.
And his blood instantly ran cold at the sight.
The picture portrayed a large pool made out of twisted and disgusting looking purplish-red blood.
A Devil Pool.
One of the most twisted things Lucifer and Lilith created, and what led to the creation of Devils as a whole.
Michael's hands start to shake in anger. "They promised- No, they swore, that they had destroyed all of them." He could clearly see that this Devil Pool has a building around it, some sort of laboratory, or research facility.
Michael lifts his gaze to stare into Uriel's angry eyes. "How did you get this picture?" He asks, offering the picture to Gabriel, who took it and swiftly frowned at the sight.
A frown that looked completely out of place on her beautiful face.
"Architect." Uriel answers, and Michael blinked in surprise at that.
The genius and mysterious human inventor, one that made big waves in the past years.
And someone who Michael is very thankful too.
A few years ago Architect had sent them a huge present through Azazel, and said present was a large batch of Healing Pods.
Healing Pods he sent so to heal the crippled Angels still in Heaven since the Great War, which were many.
Missing limbs, ruined wings, or other debilitating injuries. All of them healed in the span of few weeks.
He hadn't seen his brothers and sisters so happy in… centuries.
"I knew that we shouldn't have trusted them." Sandalphon's metallic voice growls out through his glowing golden helm, his platinum eyes blazing with anger and betrayal as he clenches his armored fists.
Michael's frown grows even more. "Sirzechs, Serafall and Ajuka… They lied to me." Gabriel places a comforting hand on his arm, but even her eyes were full of betrayal and sadness.
After all, she views Serafall as a close friend… and for a close friend to keep such a thing from her…
"Devils never keep their words." Raphael sighs, pushing up her glasses with a disappointed look on her face. "I was hoping they'd prove us otherwise… but instead…" She pauses, then frowns, her gaze growing unfocused as she mulls over something.
"The Evil Pieces System…" She whispers, her frown growing in disgust. "That's what they are using the Devil Pool for!" She points out, her voice growing slightly louder due to her visibly rising anger.
Michael swiftly raises a hand to stop the rising shouts of outrage at the blatant betrayal, which would be more than enough to go to war, were they not Angels.
He'd rather not start another giant mess… but the Devils were blatantly asking for it now.
Centuries of usage of these Evil Pieces… just how many Sacred Gears wielders and other beings have they reincarnated by now?
They'd surely be on the losing side if anything starts… But he just can't let this slide.
"Michael." Gabriel speaks up softly in her gentle, pure voice that can make anyone relax and melt.
His gaze met hers, and she gave him a gentle smile. "Let's not use our anger to think for now." She suggests softly, and he relaxes his shoulders, his siblings all doing the same things and releasing a deep breath.
Gabriel was truly a divine blessing…
"Now…" She claps her hands together, her brilliant smile back in full force. "I understand that you all are angry at the blatant betrayal. I am too. After all, we've been working on bringing peace between our races… and then this happens." She sighs softly, then her eyes brighten up.
"I suggest we seek Azazel's opinion on this, as this affects the Fallen Angel Faction too." Michael pauses, then nods and gives his sister a grateful smile.
Luckily, Azazel has close connections to Architect, so that they can ask him about the picture and even thank him for the gift from so long ago.
"Raphael." His sister perks up at his voice. "May I leave the throne in your care for now?" She blinks, then a warm smile spreads across her face as she nods lowly.
"Sandalphon, Uriel, Gabriel, you three come with me." He blinks, then gives his armored brother a look. "If Azazel tries stuff, you know what to do." Sandalphon smashes his fists together and nods, same as Uriel.
Gabriel instead looks utterly confused and cutely tilts her head to the side with a smile on her face.
All the Seraphs swoon at the sight.
Michael nods to his other brothers and sisters before creating a large magical circle below himself, allowing Gabriel and his two brothers to step in before activating it.
Usually, he'd call Azazel ahead of time when he wants to visit and talk, but this was too urgent of a matter to be polite.
They disappear from the lobby of their living quarters with a flash of light, then reappear in a small office room.
"Michael?" Azazel's voice reaches the Archangel's ears, and he lifts his gaze to meet his Fallen brother's surprised gaze.
Michael blinks when he realizes there were already two people inside the office. One of which he truly didn't expect to see.
"Azazel." Michael bows with a smile, while Sandalphon and Uriel merely nods.
Azazel's gaze visibly lights up when Gabriel peeks her head out from behind Uriel's large, muscular frame so to smile and wave at her Fallen Brother.
Then he flinches and pales when both Uriel and Sandalphon audibly crack their knuckles.
Michael swiftly ignores all that and bows to greet the other two people in the room. "Lord Shiva." The young looking boy with dark blue hair smiles and bows back, luckily not offended by the Angels sudden intrusion.
"Lord Surya." The tanned man with glowing golden hair and tribal tattoos nods back, his smile as warm as the sun.
"Forgive me for the intrusion, but I had something urgent to discuss with Azazel." He apologizes, and Azazel perks up with a confused look.
Then it clicks.
"Oh that motherfucker…" He whispers and cups his face in his hands with a loud sigh, confusing the two Gods.
Uriel flares his nostrils slightly, but Gabriel pokes his back, reminding him to be calm in her own way. "So you knew about the Devil Pool Sirzechs and the others are hiding?" He questions, causing Shiva's eyes to widen quite a bit in surprise.
Azazel raises his hands to placate Uriel, a nervous smile on his face. "Me and Architect learned about it at the same time, from a fellow… acquaintance." Michael raises a brow, and Azazel shrugs. "Echidna."
Gabriel gasps happily at that, while Michael merely sighs deeply. Of course that woman is still alive.
And why does Gabriel see the two of them as good friends?
The leader of the Fallen sighs and slouches against his comfy chair. "That guy gives me so many headaches I swear…" He groans, then straightens himself while massaging his temples.
"Michael." He starts, his gaze hardening. "I'm mad too. I don't like being lied to, and they did it so blatantly to our face, swore, even. So… I'm with you, whatever it is you wish to do." Michael nods, a grateful smile on his face, then watches as Azazel turns to Shiva and Surya.
Mostly towards Surya.
"I know where Karna is." Michael blinks in surprise at that while Surya visibly lights up in surprise. "She's with Architect. Yes. She." He throws his hands in the air at that while Surya openly gapes.
Shiva instead looks like he is contemplating the very Heavens, his eyes blank, lost and unfocused.
"Huh?" Michael blinks and turns towards Gabriel together with Uriel and Sandalphon, their eyes filled with confusion when Gabriel looks around with wide, frantic eyes.
"Sister?" Uriel rests a large hand on her shoulder, shaking her out of her strange haze, drawing the attention of the other people in the room. "Is something wrong?" Gabriel blinks a few more times, her eyes slightly red.
"I…" Her hands shake, and she cups them together before her chest, her lower lip quivering slightly.
"For a second there… I thought I felt Father's Light…" Michael and his brothers take in a sharp intake of air at that, with even Shiva recoiling back slightly in shock and surprise.
And then his eyes widen, and he turns his head in a certain direction.
The whole room shakes wildly as an immense wave of Mana rushes past it, sending shivers down the spine of the Angels and Azazel.
The intense aura of Divinity and incredibly pure Holy Light shook them to their core, leaving them unable to formulate words for a good few seconds.
"That…" Azazel inhales sharply, his eyes widening even more than before. "That came from Kuoh!" He instantly stands in alarm, only for Shiva to wave his arm through the air.
The scenery instantly change from Azazel's office to the view of a large city down below them, one covered in a massive dark purple bubble.
Michael's eyes widen in horror at the sight of the thousands of Devils, Fallen Angels and Youkais swarming through the city… And being cut down like cattle, without any power to resist.
It instantly comes clear to them that those assaulting the city… are now the ones being hunted and slaughtered.
Hundreds fell due to curses, more fell due to… something cutting them down… and more fell to the enormous machines resting upon the buildings and/or flying through the air, shooting bullets made out of highly concentrated Mana out of their cannons and guns.
"What is going on here…?" Uriel whispers, only to blink when Azazel flies down and shatters the barrier surrounding the city with a flick of his wrist, then flies down to the back of the school without a word.
The Angels share a look before following close behind, with Surya turning his head to stare at Shiva, who was smiling warmly at the blazing sun up above.
Meanwhile Azazel and the Angels land on the ground right behind Ciel, whose back is facing them.
"Ciel!" Azazel shouts, walking up beside the boy, then follows his gaze, only to gape at sight of the battle going on far ahead of them. "The hell is going on here!?"
Ciel hums, turning his gaze to take in Azazel and the Angels, before turning back to stare at the battle up ahead. "Traitors are getting cleaned up back there." He drawls out while jabbing a thumb behind him, then points up ahead, a massive grin spreading across his face.
"While over there, History is happening." Azazel reels back in confusion.
"What?" The leader of the Grigori narrows his eyes, watching as Kokabiel fights a tremendously powerful unknown woman.
Ciel chuckles softly at Azazel's confusion.
"You ever seen a Fallen Angel gain back his Grace?" He questions with a massive grin, shocking even the Angels standing behind Azazel. "Because you're about to."
Michael felt a chill go down his back, and he stepped forward with wide eyes to take in the battle up ahead.
His hands shake as he clenches them into tight fists.
Could a Fallen Angel truly gain back their Grace?
Is that even possible when… When God is dead?
"Still…" Ciel hums and turns his head to regard Michael. "Nice to meet ya face to face, Michael. I hope you made good use of my Healing Pods." The Archangel and his companions blink.
Then blink several more times.
And then it finally clicks.
"Y-… You're Architect…?" Michael asks softly, and Ciel merely flashes him a cheeky grin and victory sign with his fingers.
"One and only." He then shrugs. "Wish I could thank your old man for Unknown Dictator, but alas, he went and kicked the bucket…" Michael looks at Azazel for confirmation, and the man with the goatee nods, a proud grin on his face.
Michael goes to speak, a growing smile on his face, ready to express his heartfelt thanks-
Only for Gabriel to tackle Architect and smother his face in her massive chest.
Azazel instantly starts gnashing his teeth together from sheer jealousy while Gabriel squeals in happiness, smothering the pure boy in her incredibly long hair, dress and cleavage.
"Oh thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou~!" Michael's eyebrow twitches slightly at his dear sister behavior, especially since he can see the slowly rising hand of Gabriel's victim.
Ciel graps Gabriel's shoulders, then pushes her away and gasps loudly, his face slightly flushed even as Gabriel keeps squishing and pulling at his cheeks. "Halp!" He whimpers towards Michael, arms shaking from the strain of keeping the happily glowing Gabriel away from him.
And thus started Michael's dilemma.
Does he help out Architect, and risk making his dear sister sad…
Or does he sacrifice Architect for his sister's happiness?
He takes a deep breath, and decides to make a hard choice.
And thus… he bows towards Architect.
His sacrifice won't be forgotten.
"You bitch!" Ciel squawks out before being swallowed by Heaven's greatest mountains, not even Shiva's and Surya's arrival gave him a chance to escape.
Both Uriel and Sandalphon offered a prayer to Ciel, they too being very willing to sacrifice him for Gabriel's happiness.
It wasn't until a few seconds later that he was able to wiggle free from Gabriel's vicious and cuddly embrace, gasping for air while the now pouting Seraphim makes grabby hands at him.
Ciel gives her a look, squinting and wincing at how bright and adorable Gabriel is, but manages to hold himself back. "Later… Maybe." Her pout disappears and turns into a glowing smile, and Michael holds back a snort when Ciel flashes a mocking grin towards the jealous Azazel.
Anyone that bullies Azazel is a good guy in Michael's opinion.
"Now, just let me watch the rest of the show…" Gabriel nods happily, and Ciel gives her one last suspicious look before turning back to stare a the battle.
Surya opens his mouth to speak, but Shiva reaches out and taps his arm, drawing his attention.
The young looking God of Destruction merely smiles at the Sun God, then places a finger over his lips and winks at him.
Surya blinks, but swiftly bows his head in understanding. He could wait some more.
He turns back towards the fight up ahead just as a monstrous shock-wave bursts forth, but Ciel flicks his wrist, causing a massive barrier to appear around the entirety of Kuoh, which barely rippled once the shock-wave hit it full force.
The force behind it being so great that trees and rocks hit by it turned into powder.
Kokabiel grunts as he roughly bounces off the ground before he manages to stabilize himself, spreading his ten pitch black wings with a frown.
"Still holding back?" The emotionless voice of his blonde haired opponent reaches his ears, making him groan and straighten himself to glare at her.
No matter what he did, he couldn't break through.
Each attack was easily counter-attacked.
Each time he tried to block he was sent flying.
Dodging was nearly impossibly too.
He wets his lips and breathes out. If his natural skills alone couldn't get through, then he'd have to truly go all out.
He flexes his fingers, causing a large sword with a powerful Holy aura around it to appear within his hands.
Not a fully reformed Excalibur, but Rapidly and Destruction gave him a considerable boost, especially since the blade was dozens of times more fearsome in his hands.
He breathes out, then unleashes all of his magical aura, letting it erupt out like a roaring storm, cracking and cratering the landscape around him in the process as gale storms ripped trees out of the ground and sent rubble and dust flying everywhere.
But his opponent didn't even flinch, or blink, in the face of his rapidly rising aura.
Her gaze locks onto the reforged Excalibur in his hands before she hums, then moves her coat to the side, revealing the sword strapped by her hip.
Her armored right hand locks around the handle, then she pulls it out, and Kokabiel gasps softly.
It was a beautifully carved blade, with the flat side having what looked like a river of Stars and galaxies dancing across it.
Kokabiel could instantly feel the sheer sharpness and heat the blade released once it came out from it's sheath, and he could also feel the immense Holy aura swirling around it.
The woman gazes at the sword with a reverent gaze, rubbing her armored hand against the flat side for a second before hefting it up with a single hand and pointing it towards him.
And then all of Japan shook as she released her own magical aura.
The very earth was torn asunder, and the dome of the sky collapses as the pillar of platinum gold Mana shoots through the sky, and straight into space.
From the East, all the way to the West, any cloud in the path of that wave of force was erased from existence, and the aftershocks erased the rest.
Kokabiel pales as that titanic tower of horrifyingly dense and powerful Mana washes over him, nearly sending him flying in the process.
The distant group watching the battle gapes at the scene, especially the Angels, who remain frozen as that incredibly pure Light washes over them like tidal waves.
"Ciel…" Azazel wets his lips, his eyes never straying away from the figure within the glowing tower of Mana and Light. "Who the hell is that?" He whispers aloud, making Ciel grin.
"Artoria Pendragon, Queen of Avalon." Azazel gapes at him. "Long story short, she isn't from this world." Ciel glances towards Shiva and Surya. "And neither is Karna." That makes both Gods perk up in surprise.
They were shocked and curious, but decided to hold their questions for another time.
Their attention was pulled back to the fight once the enormous pillar of Mana vanished- Or more like, condensed down around Artoria, giving her a platinum-like glowing aura.
And then she moves, clearing the space between her and Kokabiel in less than a second.
Kokabiel pales and swiftly raised his Excalibur up, blocking the rising slash from Artoria, only to feel his very body and organs shake from the impact.
He is sent hurling into the distance, leaving behind a roaring sonic-boom and ring of condensed air in his wake, but he swiftly manages to to stabilize himself, then flaps his wings and flies right back towards at Artoria as fast as he could.
He reaches her and flies down, hefting the glowing Excalibur high in the air, then smashing it down with a roar as he pours his Mana through it.
Artoria simply lifts and tilts Excalibur Astra, receiving Kokabiel's blow with ease, not even stumbling as an enormous crater appears beneath her from the ensuing clash.
She steps forward and pushes the grinning Kokabiel away, the Fallen Angel not noticing the small cut left behind into his own Excalibur after the clash, and instead finally revels into having found a strong opponent to find.
His blood boils, and his mind nearly goes blind from the surge of adrenaline.
Ciel notices the change and smiles, then lifts his watch to his lips.
"Battle lust… Why do you enjoy that so much?" Artoria asks, speaking the words Ciel is saying towards Kokabiel, making him falter slightly.
But he swiftly shakes his head and launches himself forward, clashing his Excalibur against Artoria, who parries and deflects his blows with extreme ease.
"Isn't that why you Fell?" She speaks again, making his expression twitch and fall slightly. "Or was that Bloodlust?"
"You aren't a greedy man, as you have never desired anything. So that can't be your Sin." Another slash deflected, a long cut is carved across his chest, making him grunt.
"You aren't a wrathful man, as you have never lashed out in anger, even when you Fell. So that can't be your Sin." A kick slams into his chest, hurling him into the edges of the crater, then out high into the sky.
But he once more swiftly recovers, spitting some blood to the side before flying down, the excited grin on his face never fading.
"You aren't a gluttonous, nor a slothful man. So those aren't your Sins either." Artoria hums, stepping out of the way and spinning around, dodging the descending slash that nearly carved a ravine into the ground below them, then slashed out herself, nearly beheading Kokabiel with her counterattack.
"It isn't Envy, as you have never been envious of your stronger brothers. Nor is it Pride, as you have never arrogantly looked down on those of a lower standing than yours." This time Kokabiel's expression falls slightly as Artoria changes her stance, going from being defensive, towards being offensive.
Her aura erupts as she slashes out, and Kokabiel hurriedly parries, only for his eyes to widen when Excalibur shatters into a dozen pieces.
He hurriedly flaps his wings to jump back, but Artoria catches up with ease, and he grunts when she cleaves a massive slash from his shoulder all the way down to his hip, causing blood to splash everywhere.
"If those aren't your Sins, then you could only fall due to Lust." She speaks again, her boot smashing into his stomach once more, sending him flying out of the crater before she appears beside him mid-air and proceeds to strike him down onto the ground with a massive lance of brilliant light.
She lands beside his coughing and bleeding form and stares down at him with a low hum. "But what kind of Lust made you Fall? What did you Lust for?" She muses, and Kokabiel finally snaps.
"Shut up!" He roars, summoning a blade made out of Holy Light as he charges back towards Artoria.
Only for his makeshift weapon to shatter, and for another wound to appear on his body.
"Why should I?" She asks softly. "Isn't that the whole reason behind this? Isn't that why you came here? To find the truth- To find answers?"
He roars in rage, and Ciel could tell the kinds of thoughts going through Kokabiel's right now.
He is a man who loves to fight, but hates to lose.
He wants a long fight against an opponent as equally strong as he is, where both skills and pure power matter.
He wants answers, but at the same time he doesn't… Because he is afraid of change.
Because he fears he won't be accepted.
Because he fears it'll be useless.
Because he doesn't wish to go back to a Heaven void of his Father's presence and Light.
"Ah, I know why you are angry…" Artoria muses as she sends Kokabiel hurling away with yet another blow. "You have an inkling on what Sin you committed. You just can't put your finger to it… or you can't accept it." Her gaze suddenly hardens as she aims Excalibur Astra towards the sky. "Then let me force you to."
Her Mana instantly pours into the blade in her hand like an enormous tsunami, causing all of it's Runes to light up, and for the river of Stars and Galaxies to come to life.
A titanic pillars of flowing, glittering Stars of all colors erupts out of Excalibur Astra, creating a magnificent view of a starry pillar rising into the sky.
Galaxies and Stars swim and float across the land, pouring out of Excalibur Astra and spinning around it faster and faster, like a rising current.
Artoria gasps, her eyes widening as she grips the blade with both hands as somehow, memories flash by her eyes.
Memories of her Master, many years younger than he is now, and of a mature and beautiful woman sharing his same eyes, complexion and hair.
The laughter, the love, the pranks, the cooking failures and the nights spent star gazing… All those beautiful scenes and the emotions within them flash by her eyes.
Until everything becomes blood red, and all she could feel was a surging, inhuman and monstrous fury.
And then Spiritual Energy and Mana fuse, and the Ether comes roaring to life.
The already massive starry pillar suddenly explodes with horrifying power, becoming ten times bigger as a titanic roar echoes through the land.
The storm of energy and wind nearly destroys the barrier around Kuoh, stunning the two Gods and the Angels.
"What… is that power?" Shiva whispers with wide eyes. "It's nothing that I've ever felt before. It's neither Mana, nor Spiritual Energy…" His gaze lands on the grinning Ciel, his fanatical gaze never leaving the titanic starry pillar. "Just what did you create?"
Artoria breathes in as she easily discards that anger, and instead focuses on those beautiful memories before gripping Excalibur tightly.
"Ex-"
The titanic roaring pillar swells, then swiftly thins down and becomes a human sized beam of pure force and destruction.
Artoria stomps forward, smiles, and swings the blade worthy of being a Noble Phantasm down with all the force she could muster.
"-calibuuuuuu-!"
The explosive roar of the weapon's full force release swallows her shout as the beam descends down, cleaving the sky in half and leaving behind a trail sparkling Stars and swirling Galaxies.
Kokabiel gasps and watches the beam crash down upon him, and as his eyes focus on those sparkling Stars, he understands.
His mind goes back to all those thousands of years ago, to a bit after he was born.
"Father… I have a question."
"Oh dear, you're not about to become another Gabriel I hope…" He chuckles nervously at that, knowing very well of his older sister rather… curious nature.
"No- No, of course not. It's just…" He pauses, then gazes down in hesitation, and God stops, a low hum escaping his lips before he turns to fully face his child.
"Go on, Kokabiel. There's nothing wrong in asking questions." His Father encourages him softly, his voice warm and loving. "It's what you do with the answer." He lifts his gaze curiously, and God smiles teasingly at him.
"You wish to know something about yourself, hence the hesitation. I'd be a failure of a father if I can't even see through my children." The man hums and shrugs, bringing out an embarrassed flush from Kokabiel.
"As I said, 'It's what you do with the answer'. Will you let that change you, or will you stay the same?" Kokabiel pauses in confusion once more.
"Which one is the wrong one?" God chuckles and wags his finger at him.
"Now now, you can't get everything!" He teases before lowering his hand. "Sometimes change can do a lot of good, but sometimes change can also do a lot of bad. Sometimes staying the same is good for you, but sometimes staying the same is harmful too."
"Again… 'It's what you do with the answer'. And you won't know the outcome until much later on." Kokabiel gulps, then nods, so God waves his hand. "So go ahead, ask your question now."
A slight pause, then a sigh flows out of Kokabiel's lips. "I… I just wanted to know why you gave me the moniker of… 'The Star of God'." God blinks, then laughs heartily, bringing another embarrassed flush out of Kokabiel.
"Oh dear, that's simple!" God chuckles, wiping a tear from his eyes before staring straight into Kokabiel's eyes. "It's because your eyes are like two beautiful Stars, of course." God answers, and Kokabiel blinks in surprise, raising a hand to rub at the spot below his right eye.
"Never lose that bright gaze of yours kiddo." God hums and pats his arm before walking past him. "But of course… 'It's what you do with the answer' that matters now!" He calls back, and Kokabiel is left standing there.
So his moniker was just because of that… Because his eyes were like Stars to his Father…
A smile breaks out on his face, and soon he couldn't help but laugh loudly.
And then that starry pillar smashes down on him, sending waves of immense pain through his whole body.
He had changed. He had lost that bright gaze of his.
The bright gaze that granted him his moniker.
And now he was 'The Fallen Star of God'… Yet his eyes weren't like bright Stars at all. Not anymore at least.
They were dull, empty, lost. And they were angry.
No, not angry. He was furious.
Because he now understood what his Sin was. Why he Fell.
Who knew that loving too much could be a Sin.
Artoria pulls back, erasing the roaring and intense beam with a swing of Excalibur Astra, a pained look in her eyes as she watches as cracks appears all over the beautiful blade.
She gazes at the trench the beam left behind one last time before turning around and hurrying back towards her Master, not even giving the people beside him a glance as she kneels down and raises the now cracked blade.
"Forgive me, Master. The sword you made for me…" She doesn't finish her sentence, too pained at her failure of properly handling the sword, and bringing it back in one piece.
Yet now it was on the verge of breaking.
Ciel chuckles softly and gently takes Excalibur Astra in his hands. "It's alright. It did it's job." He hums softly as Azazel curiously peeks at the beautifully crafted sword.
"You made this?" He asks, and Ciel nods softly.
"I used Excalibur Transparency and reforged it into this." Azazel's eyes blow wide open at that, and he watches as the flickering Runes on the flat side of the blade suddenly dim, letting it crumble to dust and fall on the ground. "In the end, it was just a sword."
Azazel knew very well that Ciel didn't mean those words.
That artifact was the only thing left of his mother, and now it was gone.
He hopes that after this, Ciel will finally be able to move on at least just a little.
Ciel sighs, then shakes his head. "Well, time to put the finishing touches to Kokabiel's journey." He muses softly as he steps forward, with Artoria standing and moving to the side to let him through.
"After that, he's all yours, Karna."
XxX
I stare down at him as he lays at the center of the immense scorched trench left behind by Excalibur Astra release, his breathing labored and heavy from all the deep injuries covering his body.
Luckily, Artoria managed to somehow control the immense flow of Ether, else he'd have been vaporized on the spot if the full power hit him head on.
"It's Lust… isn't it?" He breathes out, eyes wide as he stares up at the sky, pitch black wings spread wide and smoking beneath him.
I smile softly. "Yeah." I whisper and squat down. "You may think that you never Lusted for a woman, or for something… but you did." He breathes in a shaky breath, his full of pain and disappointment.
"I Lusted for God… I Lusted for Father…" He breathes out, eyes red, pain and disappointment making way for shame and anger towards himself.
"Not in that sense." I shake my head with a small smile, making him blink in shock. "Passion can easily turn into Lust. Your Passion… was fighting for God. Your Passion was spreading his might, his love, his name." His eyes widen more and more, and my smile grows too.
"You enjoyed doing it a lot… to the point that you started relishing it. Hoping to do it more and more. That's when your Passion… turned into Lust." I smile and stand as his eyes sparkle with understanding, then move to stare up at the sky above us.
"And then, you Fell." I sigh and lift my gaze as I put my hands in my pocket. "You try to hide it, but I can see that it's eating away at you. I can tell, because I've been there. I still am." I sigh again and shake my head, then kneel down beside him and give him a small smile.
"You never realized it, even though it was right in front of your eyes, because you saw nothing wrong with it. And you never realized it, because you were still enjoying doing what made you Fall in the first place."
"Until you weren't, and that's when your eyes opened."
I shake my head with a sigh. "Point is, you got so hung up on what your mistake was, that you forgot to make the most of where you are. Of what you've become." I pat his arm with an encouraging smile.
"Take a break from worrying about things you can't control." I give him a wink and a grin. "Live a little." I'm such a hypocrite.
Kokabiel blinks and breathes out a slow, shaky breath as he turns to gaze up at the sky once more.
And then he laughs.
A loud, hearty and happy laugh.
"I understand!" He shouts, tears of joy pouring out of his eyes. "So this was truly a trial all along… A trial to finally escape his shackles, and to fully spread our wings…" He chuckles and shakes his head.
"'Live a little', huh?" He breathes out, eyes filled with clarity and resolution as he reached his hand towards the Heavens above.
"Father!" His bellow echoes across the land, his voice containing all of his sadness and love towards his creator.
"I understand! I repent!" He shouts those words with a huge smile on his face, his words causing the land beneath us to crack.
The world falls deadly quiet. A quiet that shouldn't exist. A quiet that seems… judgemental.
I lift my head and stare at the sky with narrowed eyes, then smile softly when it starts turning a bright, pure and blinding golden color.
The sound of a titanic church bell ringing echoes across the Heavens, making my eyes widen as the whole world quivers beneath the divine sound.
Yet, I feel… strangely good. Pleasant, even.
My eyes widen when a pillar of platinum light smashes down, engulfing me and Kokabiel whole.
I remain unharmed, if not a bit shocked, but my eyes focus on Kokabiel, and the changes that are happening to him.
His hair turn a brilliant platinum-gold. His robes become a glowing white with a golden cross on the chest, and his eyes seem to glow like bright stars.
And his wings become a blinding platinum. All twelve of them.
"Ciel…" He whispers, tears still pouring down his now glowing eyes. "I thank you from the bottom of my Soul, my friend." I grin, then reach out and offer him a hand.
He grasps it in a tight grip, and I help him stand as he breathes out.
He stands straight and tilts his head back, his eyes closing as he breathes in.
"No need to thank me." I smile, bringing his gaze back onto mine as I release his hand. "I just helped a good friend."
I smirk and point my thumb towards the bright Sun up above. "Go, enjoy yourself." He looks up towards the Sun, then grins and crouches down.
He blasts himself towards the sky at blinding speed, easily shattering the sound barrier and turning into a four pointed golden star.
A Star rising back into the sky, and aiming straight for the blazing Sun above.
