Elliot was to pick up Noah at Olivia's apartment because he had an early release at school. He arrived just before 5:00 pm as he quickly walked up to Olivia's apartment door knocking on the door.

"Hey, come in," Olivia said as she opened the door.

"Hey. Is Noah ready? I'm running a bit behind today." Elliot asked as he followed Olivia into the apartment and shut the door.

"You didn't get my text?" Olivia sat on the couch stretching out her legs.

"No, I haven't looked at my phone all day. I've been doing errands the past few hours. What did it say?" Elliot said frustrated.

"Noah at a sleepover and won't be going with you tonight. Sorry, you made a wasted trip here." Olivia yawned.

"It's fine. Noah wants to spend time with his friends. What are your plans tonight?" Elliot sat on the chair as he waited for Olivia to answer.

"I don't have any plans today. I'm off for the next three days so I will be laying on the couch all day." Olivia looked at Elliot curiously.

"Perfect. Come out with me tonight for a few hours. I can have you home by 8 pm?" Elliot hoped she would say yes. He really wanted to spend some more time with her.

"I'm not sure." Olivia closed her eyes for a minute thinking.

"Please Liv. Let's have some fun tonight. Come with me." Elliot looked at Olivia as she looked at him.

"Dammit, fine. You know I can never say no when you look at me that way." Olivia laughed as Elliot winked at her.

"Glad to see my irresistible charm still works on you." Elliot laughed as he felt relieved Olivia agreed to spend some time together.

"Give me ten minutes to change. El, you are no Romeo." Olivia laughed as she walked into her bedroom.

Ten minutes later Olivia finished putting on her makeup. She had decided on staying in her blue jeans. She changed from her t-shirt into a long sleeve white shirt with a black quilted vest. Casual but would also help with keeping her warm. She wasn't changing to impress Elliot.

"I'm ready." Olivia walked back into the living room and grabbed her coat.

"I think you will love what I had planned for me and Noah tonight." Elliot stood up and walked to the door.

"What is it?" Olivia asked as they left the apartment.

"It's a surprise. But it is not far from here. I promise I won't keep you out late." Elliot knew any surprise drove Olivia nuts.

Thirty minutes later they arrived in front of the Radio City Music Hall. Elliot had decided on taking a taxi instead of driving so he wouldn't have to worry about parking. He was glad he had bought tickets because they arrived just about ten minutes before the 6:00 pm show.

"What are we doing here?" Olivia asked as she got out of the taxi.

"Just wait. You will love this and I'm not sure it is something you have ever seen before. You always complained how corny they are. But you need to see them live." Elliot followed Olivia to the ticket counter handing the employee his two tickets.

"Rockettes?" Olivia smiled wide as she walked through the doors seeing how beautiful the lobby was decorated for Christmas.

"Have you ever been to a show?" Elliot asked curiously as they walked up the stairs to get to their seats.

"No, I always wanted to go. Maybe surprisingly I have never been to any Broadway shows either. Hopefully, someday I can take Noah to one. " Olivia looked around as they walked into the auditorium amazed at how fancy the decor was.

"I'm glad I am able to take you tonight. Our seats are not as close as I wanted. But we are row G. I have two seats at the end of the row." Elliot walked ahead as he found their seats.

"El, this is perfect. They must have been really expensive. I would have been happy with any seat." Olivia sat down taking off her coat.

"Where you sit matters. Especially when you see it for the first time. I want you to see the dancers and feel them dance. Guaranteed you will want to see them every year after this." Elliot looked and smiled as he saw Olivia reading her program.

"Looks like it starting," Olivia whispered as the auditorium lights lowered.

7:30 pm. Olivia and Elliot walked out of the doors of Radio City Music Hall. The performance lasted 90 minutes.

"Well, what did you think? You haven't said anything since it ended." Elliot asked.

"I loved it. Next year I need to take Noah to a show. Thank you, I'm not sure I would have gone just on my own. " Olivia wrapped her scarf around her neck as she felt the cold breeze.

"Your welcome. Are you hungry? We could stop somewhere quick before I take you home." Elliot tried thinking of somewhere they could go.

"Sure, let go where you were going to take Noah. I loved your first pick tonight." Olivia smiled at Elliot.

"Ok, just don't expect fancy. It's one of my favorite spots I go to. We can walk there." Elliot turned and started walking down the sidewalk.

"I'm game for anything. Tonight has helped me relax." Olivia walked next to Elliot as she looked at a couple walking by holding hands.

"We're here," Elliot said as he opened the restaurant door.

"El, when I said anything I wouldn't have guessed here." Olivia laughed.

"Hey, I'm a guy. I love quick and simple. This has always been a favorite of mine. " Eliot lead Olivia into the Taco Bell restaurant.

"What do you recommend? I haven't been here in a few years." Olivia walked up to the counter reading the menu above the registers.

"I will get a mix of stuff so you can try. And I will get something for Noah. What would you like to drink?" Elliot got out his debit card from his wallet.

"A diet Pepsi, please. I will go get us a booth and I need to go to the bathroom." Olivia headed towards the back where the bathrooms were located.

An hour later Elliot and Olivia arrived in front of Olivia's apartment. The taxi parked and Olivia started walking up to the door. Elliot paid the taxi driver before following Olivia to the door.

"Do you want to come up for awhile?" Olivia asked as Elliot got closer.

"I would love to but I can't tonight. I need to get some of my paperwork done for the case I'm working on. Ayanna needs it in the morning. " Elliot stepped closer to Olivia.

"That ok. I had fun tonight. Thanks for asking me." Olivia pushed back her hair behind her left ear suddenly feeling nervous.

"So what was your favorite from Taco Bell?" Elliot rubbed his left hand over his lips as he felt nervous.

"It was all better than I remembered. But I think I liked the Chalupa, nachos, and crunch wrap the best. Good night El." Olivia turned to go into the front door of her apartment.

"Liv, wait," Elliot said as he stepped right behind Olivia.

"Yeah" Olivia turned around almost bumping into Elliot's chest from how close they were.

"Don't forget Noah's food." Elliot handed Olivia the bag as their hands touched.

"Thanks," Olivia said as she stared up into Elliot's eyes.

Elliot looked at Olivia debating what he should do. Was it too soon? Did she feel the same or anything more than a friendship? Elliot leaned down going in for a kiss as he placed his right hand on Olivia's back pushing her closer to him.

"El," Olivia whispered as she leaned in. Their lips almost touched as Olivia pulled back resting her head on Elliot's chest for a minute.

"Liv, Elliot whispered as he felt intoxicated with having her in his arms.

Olivia pulled back stepping back. "I can't. We can't. I don't. This was to be for Noah. We can only be." Olivia trailed off stopping midsentence. She turned and quickly walked through the front doors of her apartment. Tears streamed down her face.

Elliot felt as if his heart had been ripped out as he watched Olivia run away from him. He was more confused than ever. He was afraid he may have pushed Olivia away for good. Strike two he thought back to Olivia's warning the week before. Quickly he walked to his car and drove off.
