Background:
In the outskirt town of Foxford, Jason grew up to become relatively normal mammal. One exception however is that within his young years he made a Blood Brother pact with his childhood friend Alex. From that day on they both became inseparable friends no matter what.
Once they hit the age of 16 both Jason and Alex enlisted into the Armed Forces of Mammalia, trained for 2 years as snipers and were shipped off to fight in Irrabiq. On their first two tours they slowly improved their skills ovetime, Jason as the gun and Alex as the spotter, until their opposition officially declared a dead or alive hit on the two.
They could never be caught however; foxes were known to be sneaky and they proved it by slipping away whenever a huge patrol was heading towards them. One day though, luck officially ran out for one of the two friends during their 3rd tour.
While entering a building that was overlooking a friendly patrol, they set off a tripwire that activated explosives rigged inside. In a valiant effort to save his friend, Alex dived on top of Jason and sacrificed himself. Jason didn't get away unscathed however as a stray piece of debris scarred his right eye permanently.
After the incident he was healed back up the best he could, honourably discharged and was sent back to Foxford where he watched Alex's funeral. Within the next month his former girlfriend passed away after overdosing on drugs, an event that made him decide he needed to start over away from his home. He eventually cut ties with his family and moved to Zootopia where he went off the grid for a long while.
A few months after Officer Wilde joined the ZPD, he came into contact with the department to possibly start working as an officer on the force. Whether it was his luck, military experience or both, he was instead instantly assigned to Special Operations where he was given his current role.
Personality:
Jason is a mammal of few words when compared to his squadmates, rarely talking unless spoken to by Everest or anyone else with a higher status. Add this to the fact that he always steers clear of other mammals he encounters and it is obviously he just wants to be left alone most of the time.
Everest respects this fact and lets him be if he needs room from his teammates after a mission. Thankfully there has been some progress on him opening up to others when seeing a therapist, we've recommended to him. He's even told them about his past, which has helped us write this file in the first place.
After a few months of talking to said therapist Jason seems to have loosened up on his distrust as he's been more open to others that he meets when off duty. This could potentially be the new chapter within his life he was looking for and we all hope it keeps up for the foreseeable future.
