Steve's eyes opened up. He looked around. He was in some sort of tent. There were people talking in front of him. "Look who's awake." Steve heard a voice said. Steve looked up to see Snake standing in front of him. Steve immediately tried to attack Snake, but his hands were tied. "Woah woah calm down." Snake said as he kicked Steve in the face. Steve started bleeding. "Snake that's enough, I need him alive." Steve heard another voice say. Steve looked over to see an old man sitting on a throne. The throne was made out of Gold and had red fabric. Steve stared at the old man, he looked around the same age as Gotoh. "So, you killed forty-eight of my men and almost killed my second in command what do you have to say for yourself?" the old man asked. Steve stared at him, "bandits deserve to die." Steve said. All the bandits in the tent started laughing at Steve. "That's what they all say, but do you know what's worse than bandits? King Baron, he's turned this country into a ghost of its former self ever since the Nether War. You know I used to be in the royal army? Back when it had pride. Now the Royal army lets cities like Kvatch be destroyed and only show up at the very end, but you know I'm proud that a group of bandits were able to take down a city like Kvatch especially since the one who took it down used to work for me." "Darrius?" Steve said. "So, you know him?" The old man said. "I heard about him from the news." Steve lied; he didn't want to tell this guy that he was at Kvatch. "I Found him the same way I found you, killing my men." The old man said. "Well, we're nothing alike." Steve said angrily. "Well, you're both killers." The old man said. Those words made Steve reflect on what he has become. "Now let's get to the point you have two options, work for me and be my new rat or you can be my slave. Either way you work for me now." The old man said. "What!?" Steve yelled in confusion. "Hurry and pick boy." The old man said. "How about I kill you!" Steve yelled as a red spiked aura surrounded his body. He dashed towards the old man but was stopped again by skeleton hands coming out of the ground. The aura went away, Snake roundhouse kicked Steve in the face. Steve fell to the floor. "Don't ever try to attack Eagle!" Snake yelled. "So, you've chosen option two, Wolf put the spell on him." Eagle said. A bandit walked over to Steve. This bandit was as big as Snake and wore a cloak. He started speaking some ancient language to Steve. "Done." Wolf said. "Good take him to the dungeon." Eagle said. Some bandits came over to Steve and dragged him out of the tent.
