Steve woke up and for a split second he had forgotten the events that had happened yesterday. Once that realization hit him, he realized how shit his life is now. "What's with the face?" Gyro asked sarcastically. Steve didn't feel like answering Gyro's question. "What are we going to do today?" Steve asked. "Well, some bandits are coming down and taking us to a forest, in the forest there is a cave, in that cave there is a bunch of ores that the bandits make us mine, after a long day of mining we go back to the cells, that's it, that's our lives now." "What about food?" Steve asked. Gyro laughed "Oh food? Yeah, you have to get that yourself from animals or fruit growing in the forest." Steve stopped talking to Gyro; he was thinking of a way to escape. "Probably in the forest." Steve thought to himself. An hour later Wolf along with some bandits came down and released the prisoners. The prisoners' hands were loose, they all feared Wolf's spell so there was no need for shackles. He was watching all the prisoners making sure they didn't escape. As the prisoners were taken to the cave in the forest Steve tried to talk Gyro into escaping. "Look, just give it up, you're just going to end up dead." Gyro said. "Start mining." Wolf said to all the prisoners as they were outside of the cave. There were pickaxes lined up along the wall of the cave. The prisoners got the pickaxes and started mining. Steve and Gyro were mining together deep in the cave away from the entrance. "Can't we just dig a way out of this cave and escape?" Steve asked as he was mining some iron. "Wolf's ability, remember? He would know we escaped if we got out of his range. Then they would send horsemen after us. I think that's enough planning from you, nothing's going to work." Gyro said. Steve was getting irritated with Gyro. "Why are you so calm about this!?" Steve yelled at Gyro. Gyro looked shocked for a moment but then his face returned to its usual dull expression. "Look, I get you wanting to leave this place but it's just not reality. Just accept that this is your new life." Red aura started surrounding Steve. "What is that?" Gyro said calmly. "My friend is dead; I lost my dog and now I'm a prisoner, but I'll be damned before I lose hope. You're supposed to be a soldier for the Royal army! But you're acting like you're just some weak civilian." The aura around Steve went away. Gyro was speechless for a couple of seconds. He was about to say something, but the cave started to rumble. All the prisoner's looked around the cave. Something was digging underneath the cave. Steve and Gyro looked down. A giant Paw came out of the ground. All the prisoners started to run. The beast came out of the ground. It looked like a bear, but its fur was red, and its claws were way sharper than any regular bear. It was also bigger than any regular bear. Steve and Gyro were behind the demon bear. The demo bear turned around and looked at Gyro and Steve, it started growling. Steve reactivated his red aura.
