Sam and Alex had been killing it as a tag team for the last month. Sam still didn't like him. Mackenzie and Alex were at home in their apartment in Atlanta. She was getting laundry ready to take to the laundry mat. She had two full baskets, regular clothes and ring gear. She took the first basket out to the car. They lived on the fourth floor. Mackenzie came back for the second basket. Alex was sitting on the couch not helping with anything.

"Baby, can you pick me up a six-pack?" Alex asked.

"Yeah."

"Come here." She went over to him. They kissed. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Mackenzie was at the laundry mat. She spotted Sam sitting in a corner and went over to him.

"Hey." She said.

He looked up. "Hey Mac." "I didn't know you lived here."

"I moved here when I started training." "Do you live here?"

"Yeah." "Where's Alex?"

"He never comes with me."

"Does he live with you?"

"Yeah."

Mackenzie had just came back with the laundry.

"Did you get my beer?" Alex asked.

"Yes."

"Cool." "I want burgers for dinner."

"Ok."

Later that night Sam parked his car and got in the back to go to sleep.

The next night Mackenzie and Alex were backstage.

"Does your ring gear always have to be so revealing?" Alex said.

"It's less revealing then yours honey."

"Well it's different for me, I'm a man."

"I've realized that fact Alex."

"What I mean is, people might objectify your body, call you fat."

"I'm fat?"

"Of course not but you know how mean people can be."

After the show Alex went out with some friends, leaving Mackenzie at the hotel alone. As was coming the norm she went to Sam's room to hang out. They played a few games of cards now they were talking.

"Are you from Atlanta originally?" Sam asked.

"No, I'm from Akron, Ohio." "Where are you from?"

"Seattle."

"Does it rain there as much as they say?"

"Way more?" "How long have you been with Alex?"

"Two years."

"No offense, but he doesn't come off as the nicest guy in the world."

"I know it seems like that but he can be a charmer when he wants to be." "He has his flaws but I love him." "I'm hungry." "I could watch it though, I'm already fat."

"Fat?" Sam said confused. "Mac are you out of your mind?" "Fat people don't have six-pack abs like you." "Any woman would love to look like you."

"You think?"

"Hell yeah."

Mackenzie got a text.

"Alex is on his way back."

Sam could tell she was annoyed. "What?"

"He's gonna wanna have sex." "I hate doing it when he's drunk."

"Tell him you don't want to."

"That doesn't work." "He just keeps at me until I say yes." "See you later."

"Bye." She left. Mackenzie's relationship with Alex seemed very toxic to Sam.
