"Don't be ridiculous Wyatt."
"He's got your powers of lightning. He's even learning astral projection, although he hasn't mastered it yet"
Future Leo laughed at that and lost focus. Present Leo being freed quickly ran over to heal Piper.
"You don't need to lie about his powers Wyatt. I know your brother and he doesn't have any such powers."
Paige was shocked and confused that her assumption about Chris was right. She wanted to kick herself that she never figured out who Chris was herself and yet somehow Phoebe figured it out. That's when she remembered Phoebe calling Melissa, Melinda. She realized that wasn't an accident. She was also Piper's future child. She was happy that she'll now have two nephews and the niece she thought Wyatt was going to be. Still Chris had never displayed such powers as Wyatt described and even Future Leo said he doesn't. She wondered what the truth was.
Just then Chris came back. Melinda cried out and she and P.J. jumped up and hugged him. Chris allowed it confused as to what had happened. He didn't understand what they were upset over. Last thing he remembered was Future Leo shooting lightning towards Piper. He looked over and was relieved to see she seemed to be okay.
Future Leo growled when he realized what had happened. He started to storm over there realizing that Leo had healed Piper completely.
Wyatt, realizing he was going to try again to prevent Chris from being born, screamed, "No!" Then using his powers he called the crystals to him before using his telekinesis to throw Future Leo across the room to temporarily keep him from doing anything. Holding the crystals he chanted a spell into them. Then sent them flying and surrounded the Charmed Ones and Present Leo. The spell was to temporarily prevent them from getting out of it.
He or Chris could have knocked the crystals out of place and gotten out at any time they just chose not to. They felt the Charmed Ones and Leo went to so much trouble they'd hear them out.
Future Leo was shocked, he got up and walked over to Wyatt. "What are you doing? I have to stop this!"
"I won't let you hurt her or them."
Future Leo frowned confused, "Them? Nevermind. Wyatt, you will understand why I have to do this when you're older."
"No, I will never understand you taking one of the most important people I love away because you refuse to see the truth."
"What truth?" Future Leo asked.
"Wy, don't. Telling him won't change anything. He's dead in our world. Wyatt made sure of that personally."
"What are you talking about?"
Wyatt thought about what Chris said but decided that their father needed to know reality. He needed to learn that his hatred of Chris was unfounded. He turned and waved Chris and the girls away. Then walked over and grabbed future Leo and orbbed them where he'd sent Chris and the girls to Chris' garden.
Leo directed Paige to call the crystals but thanks to Wyatt's spell it didn't work.
Wyatt walked over to Chris and made sure he was okay before turning back to Future Leo and said, "If you must know what really happened I'll show you. Heart to heart, Mind to mind. From now until the hour ends, after which the spell ends. Those who are in this circle, will freely share each others memories."
Wyatt proceed to show everything from his capture and torture to being lost in the underworld before finding a way home.
"No, that's a lie. It has to be. Gideon would never do that!"
"Believe it or don't. That's the true villain. That's what really turned your Wyatt mad and made him evil."
"No, you're lying to cover up for Chris. If what that vision shows is true then why are you different?"
Wyatt then showed his timeline. From Chris' death, to his capture, to Leo rescuing him not long after and subsequent killing of Gideon.
Future Leo was shocked at what he saw. "No, even if that vision of my world is true he wasn't bad as a child."
"Depended on his mood that day." Chris said.
"What are you talking about?" Future Leo asked.
"Most days Wyatt was the best friend you could ever have. Other days your worst enemy. He was a bully at school and at home."
Future Leo frowned, "No, he was perfect in school. We never once got a call."
Chris rolled his eyes, "Of course not. Wyatt knew how to play the victim. When that didn't work he used his magic to twist the story in the teacher's mind that he wasn't even there or if he was in a sadistic mood he'd put the blame on the other kid who would then get into trouble. Even when other students tried to say something the teacher would tell them off for lying or Wyatt would do something to shut them up.
At home and even at school most of the time he was my best friend. But some days if he in a bad mood he'd torture me. He'd beat me then heal me. He'd threaten to hit himself and tell you I did it and then he'd laugh as I got into trouble. I told mom once after he hit me, I managed to orb away and told her. Wyatt showed up and said I went on a secret demon hunt and that's how I got it. You believed it. Wyatt did go on secret demon hunts. He couldn't bring himself to hit himself though, so he let a demon do it. He only did that two or three times and told you and mom I did it. Although mom didn't believe I did it. You had no issues believing it and grounding me for it. After that I never told what he was doing.
As he got older he stopped physically abusing me and turned more towards verbal. I don't know why, he just did. At school he never liked anyone else tormenting me. That was his job. I don't know what he said or did but they would only pick on me once. Magic school was a bit more tricky but due to being so powerful he was able to do something and make it seem like the kids picking on me did it and they got into trouble. Other times he'd simply tell the teacher and if necessary use his magic to manipulate their memory when possible."
"No, I don't believe it. After all these years he's never told me."
"What? Who? Wyatt hates you. He'd never admit to any of this."
"No, I meant Gideon."
"He's dead. Wyatt ran him through with Excalibur and electrified it with his energy balls and fireballs. A power he had stolen with a power sucking athame just a few hours earlier."
Future Leo nodded then said, "I was able to distract Wyatt afterwards and with the help of some of the other Elders we were able to retrieve him and heal him. He's been in hiding since then."
"I can't believe you. You didn't care what happened to your youngest son when he came to you for help after he came to his senses and left Wyatt. You told me to leave your sight and never come back. Yet the man responsible for turning your son, you help."
"Well he didn't know until now." P.J. said.
"What happened to your hair? How did you get your pink back?" Future Leo asked.
"My hair? What's wrong with it?"
"The last time I saw you was at your mother's grave. I noticed that you had lost the pink in your hair. It had turned black. I asked you but before you could answer one of Wyatt's demons took off with you before you could answer."
"Wy told you. We're from an alternate timeline. I've never lost it. I assume I was born with it. I've had it for as long as I can remember."
"No, when you were very little you helped a fairy who had gotten sick and fell into a log. She then got stuck in the log. You found her and Paige healed her. Phoebe was giving birth to Parker at the time."
"I don't remember you telling me you met a fairy." Melinda said.
"Who are you? Why would Ladybug tell you anything about our lives."
Melinda knew the spell didn't affect him and she assumed Wyatt planned to keep him here till the spell ends. "I'm your daughter."
"I don't have a daughter."
Melinda smiled and said, "You do. In a world where you don't treat Wy as a king. You don't treat your youngest son like trash and Wy doesn't rule the world."
P.J. frowned still stuck on the strange story around her hair interrupts, "It's strange I don't remember that either. I don't remember anyone ever mentioning it. What happened to the fairy?"
"She's fine, she went back home after she was healed. I heard from another Elder that the reason it turned black was because you killed someone. You were no longer innocent and pure as when you were granted it. I don't believe that you were capable of killing Henry Jr."
Before anyone could argue with him the memory Chris had of that day began to play.
It was then that P.J. realized that despite the spell and the story that Future Leo told. When Melinda asked her saying she didn't remember anything like that happening. No memory even close to what was told came up. She concentrated to try to make one appear. Then she pulled Melinda away and said, "Ask me about my hair. Why is his history and mine different?"
Melinda shrugged and said, "Probably because we spent a lot of time together. Remember I don't exist in his and Chris' world."
P.J. frowned, "Yeah but it's still weird." His story made it sound like she was hanging out with Paige. So Melinda's existence shouldn't have mattered that much.
"Fine, what caused your hair to have a pink streak?" Melinda asked P.J.
Silence. No memory popped up. "Like I said, maybe you were born with it." Melinda rationalized, not seeing an issue.
P.J. sighed, "Yeah maybe."
Future Leo looked at his hands. "The spell is at an end. Time for me to return."
'Good I didn't want him here to begin with.' Chris thought.
He was brought out of his thoughts when Future Leo grabbed him. "It's time for you to come home."
"No, not till I save Wyatt." Chris said, struggling to break free of Future Leo's grasp.
"It's too late for that. Even if you save him it won't change our future."
"Maybe it will, maybe it won't. But I have to try. Even if it doesn't change our future, I can change baby Wyatt in this timeline's future to prevent him from growing up and becoming like ours."
Wyatt walked over and pulled Future Leo's hand off of Chris' arm. "We will save this version of myself from your version's fate. I won't let you take Chris." With that Future Leo vanished.
"What now?" Melinda asked. "Mom and the others still want us gone. What do we do?"
"We could tell them that Leo took Chris back with him?" P.J. suggested.
Wyatt shook his head, "Even if they bought that, they would then double down on finding a way to get rid of us. Even if it means either telling the Elders or worse trusting Gideon. There's no way to know if he would legit send us home or send us to another dimension like he did Chris and dad in our time. Mom and the others wouldn't believe Gideon did anything intentionally. Then Chris would again be left alone or send him to another dimension as well. Then history will just repeat itself. Until we can tell mom who he is, we're on our own."
