Mackenzie woke up the next morning. Before she even opened her eyes she could smell food cooking. When she opened her eyes Sam wasn't next to her. She picked his shirt up off the floor, put it on and went to the kitchen. Sam was standing at the stove cooking.
"Morning." She said.
"Morning." They kissed. "I'm making your favorite, pancakes and bacon." "You look sexy in my shirt."
"I do huh?"
"Yeah."
They sat down to eat.
"This is really good." She said. "Better then mine."
"I'm glad you like it." "I figured it's been a little while since someone cooked for you."
"Not since I was a kid."
They were done eating. Mackenzie was standing at the sink getting ready to do the dishes. Her back was to Sam. She felt his arms wrap around her waist. She smiled.
"Do those later." Sam said. "Come here."
She turned to face him. "Something on your mind Sam?"
"Yeah. "How amazing you were last night." "How much I need it again." He picked her up off the ground. They kissed and went into the bedroom.
It was around two o'clock in the afternoon. Sam was gone. There was a knock at the door. It was a delivery of roses for Mackenzie. After she put them in some water she opened the card. It read.
I had a choice to make. Put gas in my car, or buy roses for you? I hope you like them. - Sam
She smiled.
At around six that night Mackenzie was getting hungry and thinking about what to make for dinner. She was planning on inviting Sam over. There was a knock at the door. She went over to it.
"Who is it?" She asked.
"It's me." Alex said. "Please open the door baby." "I want to talk." "I love you Mackenzie."
