Mackenzie opened the door.
"You have two minutes Alex." She said. He went inside.
"How are you?"
"Two minutes."
"I'm so sorry baby." "I made a mistake."
"Is this the only time?" "Tell me the truth."
"Yes." "That girl didn't mean anything."
"Why did you do it?"
"It was a lapse in judgment." "She was coming on to me, I felt insecure because of Sam and it just happened."
"Don't you dare blame what you did on Sam."
"I'm not." "I'm jealous of the connection you two seem to have."
"I'd love a connection like that with you again but you keep pushing me away."
"I know." "I promise I'll change." "It'll be just like it was." "Remember?"
"Yeah it was great."
"Mackenzie I love you." "Please take me back." He held her hands. "Please."
Two days passed Sam was wondering why Mackenzie wouldn't answer his texts or calls. They all had an event to wrestle. Sam went to look for her. His heart dropped to his stomach when he saw her all cuddly with Alex. They didn't see him. He felt like he'd been punched in the stomach.
A few hours later Mackenzie was in the Women's Locker Room.
"Mackenzie, Darby wants you." One of the women said.
Mackenzie went out into the hall.
"We need to talk." Sam said.
"I don't know when Alex is coming."
"I don't care about Alex." "I need to talk to you."
They found a place to be alone.
"What's going on?" Sam asked.
"I know, it surprised me to." "We talked and I decided to give Alex's one more chance."
"Why?"
"We all make mistakes."
"Mackenzie you don't deserve this."
"He's been better."
"Yeah for now." "It won't last."
"Yes it will." "We're going to Evolve together and everything will be fine."
"What?"
"Yeah, our contracts were purchased." "I'm sorry Sam." "Being with you was special." "It really was, but it's over." "I didn't want to hurt you." "I've gotta go." She went around him.
"Mackenzie, I love you." She stopped. When she turned around she had tears in her eyes.
"Mackenzie, baby, where are you?" Alex's voice called.
She wiped her eyes. "Right here." She said going around the corner.
"What are you doing way over here?"
"I was just taking a walk."
