"I told you I would destroy this city one day…" Javier woke up frantically. He was dreaming about Darrius… "Kvatch! What happened!?" Javier looked at his surroundings. He was in a hospital room. This couldn't be Kvatch, everything wasn't on fire. Javier got off his bed and left the room. There were a bunch of hospital patients and nurses. As he walked the hallways of the hospital, he tried to remember what happened. He had Darrius cornered and was about to kill him then somebody or something attacked him. "Javier!" He heard a familiar voice say, he turned around to see Jesse. Jesse walked up to Javier. "Jesse!" Javier said as they hugged. "Where are we?" Javier said. "Me and Varyana took you to Imperial city so that we could talk to King Baron." Jesse said. "What happened to Kvatch?" Javer said. "All the bandits and mobs were killed but Kvatch is left in ruins, barely a city anymore." Jesse said somberly. "Dammit we need to go back!" Javier said. "Us going back wouldn't achieve anything. The only thing we can do is ask the King to rebuild Kvatch." Jesse said. Javier sighed, "You're right let's go." Javier said. As the two exited the hospital Varyana and Caven were waiting for them. Caven looked at Javier, "Look who's finally awake." Caven said. "Javier!" Varyana said as she hugged Javier. "I'm glad you're ok Varyana." Jesse said. "All right, enough catching up, let's go see the King." Caven said. All four of them headed to the King's castle in the back of the city. The Imperial city was huge, at least ten times bigger than Kvatch. As they entered the castle, they were greeted by one of the king's guards. "Caven, who are these three?" The guard said. "These are the last guardsmen of Kvatch they need to see the King." Caven said. "All right you may pass." The guard said. As they were getting close to King Baron's room Javier could feel his anger building up. Why do I have to plead to the king to fix Kvatch?" Javier gritted his fist. As they entered the king's room, they saw KIng Baron and a knight in dark purple armor, they also saw Balgruff!. Javier, Jesse, and Varyana were shocked. "What's with your faces?" Caven asked. Balgruff looked over at the three. "What are you traitors doing here, I would've thought you had perished in that battle." Balgruff said. "Same could be said to you!" Jesse shouted. Jesse marched over to Balgruff drawing his axe. "Oh boy." Caven said, before Jesse could take another step, he was stopped by a long sword held by the purple knight. The blade was at his neck. "Take another step towards the KIng and I will decapitate you." The knight said. "Jesse calm down." Javier commanded. Jesss sheathed his axe, "sorry." Jesse said. The purple knight sheathed his sword as well. "What do you four want?" Baron said. Caven got on a knee, "My king, these three request resources be put towards Kvatch to rebuild it." Caven said. Baron laughed, "Why would I send resources towards that miserable city?" Baron said. Javier quickly filled with anger, "Don't you know what happened to Kvatch!? It was attacked by bandits; its people need help!" Javier shouted. "You will address me as King before I send you to the dungeons." Baron said. "Yes, my king." Javier said as he got on a knee. He was gripping his hand so hard blood started coming out. "Now the only way I'll help Kvatch is if you capture the one who orchestrated the attack, Darrius." Baron said. ``How will we be able to find him my king?" Javier said, barely able to get the words out. "There are reports that he was spotted in Yorknew so start there." Baron said. "Yes, go fix your mistake and capture your brother." Balgruff said smugly. Baron was surprised, "Oh, so Darrius is your brother, were you holding this information from me?" Baron said. "No, my King I-" before Javier could finish his sentence Baron interrupted, "New rule, if you don't bring me Darrius back alive, I will take your head instead." Baron said. "What!?" Jesse said. "Calm down, it's okay." Javier. "Good, I'm glad you understand now begone from my sight, you have two weeks to bring your brother back." Baron said. Javier,Jesse,Varyana, and Caven left the castle. "Sheeesh talking to the king wasn't a good idea huh?" Caven said. "It doesn't matter, I'm going to find Darrius Baron's orders or not." Javier said.
