of course mario. sonic did have 2 anime series. the first one was an ova simply called sonic the hedgehog (but you can call it sonic the hedgehog the movie,sonic the movie,or just sonic ova.) now ova is short for orginal video animation. the second anime is a series called sonic x. orginally an 52 episode anime series, a third seasion was made with 15 episodes, and it has sprawned it's own comic book series and trading card game. both of these series are real mind you.

Mario: You know, I actually have my own anime series, right? It just was never released in America.
