After escaping his home city when he was nine due to his parent's mysterious disappearance Steve lived a nice and quiet life with his pet dog, that was until his home was destroyed by the Blood Moon and he was forced to take refuge in the city he once escaped. Now Steve has too balance fighting against a criminal organization, finding his parents, and learning more about his past.

67. Steve meets Spike

"What do you want me to do again?" Hiro asked Solstice as they were heading towards some bandit base. "I want you to track down and kill a kid for me, during that boring battle between the bandits and the guards of Kvatch I sensed strong energy coming from some kid. He had on a blue shirt and dark blue plants." Solstice said." Another body for Garaki, or is he for you to conjure?" Hiro asked. "No, unfortunately this one goes to Garaki, I had the last one." Solstice said. "How strong was he?' Hiro asked. Solstice laughed, "Oh, he didn't even fight, he was hiding the whole time, it should be easy to kill him." Solstice said. "Good." Hiro smirked.

Steve, Hiro and Dogmeat were heading towards Yorknew. "One thing that didn't make sense was the demon bear that appeared; it was the only reason we were able to escape." Steve said to Hiro. "Yeah weird, never heard of or seen one before, anyways once I get inside of this city, I'm going to get this charm on a necklace." Hiro said. "Where did you even get that?" Steve asked. "I gutted it from a bandit." Hiro said, smiling. "Oh, cool." Steve said. As they kept walking, they eventually made it to Yorknew. "Wow" Steve said in amazement as he looked at Yorknew. The city was way bigger than Kvatch. It was also very different structure wise from Kvatch. Instead of a big gate in front of the city, there was a large marketplace on the outskirts of the city. Then there was a big wall that separated the market area from the housing area, this was where all the buildings were, and this is where the guardsmen base is. Then there is one final giant wall separating the housing area from the royal area. This is where the castle is and where the king stays. "Maybe there's a shop that deals with charms. I'm going to go look around." Hiro said, walking towards the market palace. "Alright let's meet back up!" Steve yelled at Hiro as he walked away. "Looks like it's just us Dogmeat." Steve said. Steve and Dogmeat walked around the marketplace looking at all the shops. "Man, I would buy something, but I'm broke." Steve said, looking around. As Steve and Dogmeat were walking, someone called their name. "Steve!" a voice said. Steve turned around to see a man behind him. "Uh, who are you?" Steve asked. "I figured you wouldn't recognize me; the last time I saw you was when you were three." The man said. Steve started to get freaked out. "Ok, so who are you?" Steve asked cautiously. "My name's Spike, I'm a friend of your dad." Spike said. Steve's eyes sparkled, "Wait, you're Spike!?" Steve said. "Yeah, am I not what you expected?" Spike said. "No no no I just didn't think it would be this easy to find you." Steve said. "Oh, you were looking for me?" Spike said. "Yeah, I need your help, I'm trying to find my dad. Do you know where he went?" Steve said. "Hmmm, I have some info on him, come on let's go to my house i'll tell you everything I know." Spike said. "Wait, I need to find my friend then we can go." Steve said.
