It was a Thursday eight days later. Alex was getting ready to fly to Vegas for his bachelor party. His friends were meeting him in Vegas. He and Mackenzie still lived in Georgia, but now they lived in a big house. Mackenzie was going to be home alone. She and Alex were by the front door.
"Don't get into to much trouble." She said.
"I won't." "Twenty more days." He said smiling.
"I know." She said smiling back. "Have fun."
"I will." They kissed. "I love you."

The next morning Mackenzie was cooking herself breakfast. Her phone rang.
"Hello?" She said.
"Hi baby." Alex said.
"Hi." "How was your first night?"
"Great but I miss you."
"I miss you to."
"What are you doing?"
"Making some eggs."
"I just wanted to check in." "I'll call you tonight."
"Ok, I love you."

Alex put his phone away and opened his hotel bathroom door. He went to the bedroom where two women were asleep.
At eight o'clock that night Mackenzie had gotten out of the shower and dried her hair. She put on a T-Shirt and pajama bottoms. She heard the doorbell and went downstairs to get it. She was surprised to see Sam standing there.
"How did you know where I lived?" She asked.
"You told me, remember?"
"Yeah."
"Where's Alex?"
"In Vegas for his bachelor party."
"We need to talk."
"Go home Sam." She walked away from the door but left it open.
He went inside and shut the door. She sat on the couch and started aimlessly scrolling through her phone. He knelt down in front of her. "I'm not leaving until we talk Mac."
"If this is about that kiss, it was a mistake." She said not looking up from her phone.
"It's not just about that." "Don't marry Alex." "If our baby had lived we'd be together right now."
"I should've never told about our baby." She said still not looking up from her phone.
"Yes you should've, a lot sooner." "Put this down and look at me." He took her phone from her and sat it on the coffee table. She still wouldn't look at him. "You can't marry Alex." "I love you Mackenzie." She looked at him with tears coming down her cheeks. "I know you love me too."

He took a condom out of his back pocket and broke the kiss. "Then what are you doing that for?" Her hands were underneath his shirt touching his abs and chest. She took off his shirt. He took off hers then slowly kissed his way down her body kneeling as he went lower. He loved her moans. He took off her bottoms and panties. When he stood back up they kissed. She undid his jeans and pulled them down with his boxers. He laid her down underneath him on the couch. "I love you." He said. "Stop saying that." She said. "You don't love me huh?" They kissed.
