Three years later Sam was finally over Mackenzie. However it took about a year and a half. He'd even had a few relationships but they hadn't worked out.
Sam was on his Twitter. He was scrolling saw a video of Mackenzie working out in a gym. He wasn't aware she had an account again.
Mackenzie now lived in Napa Valley, California. She lived on the lake in a huge house. Shat had a big boat that she loved to take out. Sometimes she would sleep on it. She also had lots of land and trails that she would walk with her golden retriever Coco. After years of therapy she was finally in a good place. She'd made a promise to herself, that if she were ever in a situation where she worked with people again, she would no longer date co-workers.
Mackenzie was laying on her couch. Coco jumped up.
"There's my baby." She said petting her. "You're mommy's pretty girl."
A month later the Full Gear pay-per-view was in progress. All the women in the Casino Battle Royale had come down, except for the Joker card. Everyone was eagerly awaiting the surprise. When the timer struck zero everyone was shocked when Mackenzie's music hit. When she walked out and stood at the top of the ramp she took it all in.
Five minutes later Sam was in the back walking down the hall. He hadn't heard Mackenzie come out because he'd been in the shower.
"Look at the TV." Steve said.
Sam turned around and was stunned to see Mackenzie in the ring.
"Mac?" He said shocked.
Mackenzie climbed to the top of the ladder and got the poker chip.
When she went to the back people waited to greet her. She got to Britt. They hugged.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Britt asked.
"Tony wanted to keep it a surprise."
Britt noticed Mackenzie looking around. "Looking for Sam?"
"No."
"Yes you are."
"No." "No more getting involved with co-workers."
