It was amazing to be back home. No homework, just relaxing. Every Night we would hang out in the game room playing games or doing some fun activity.

Today was our last day of break before we boarded the train to head back to Hogwarts

I pulled out a book from my trunk, Insurgent, the second book in the muggled series known as Divergent.

I wasn't supposed to be reading muggle literature as my parents despise muggles and so did I, but I had to admit that their books were interesting.

Of course I took the necessary precautions and charmed the coover to look like a school textbook.

I snuggled in my pj's and curled up on the couch in the sitting room. I draped my favorite green blanket ver me Before I opened the book I thought back to christmas say

It was Christmas Day! I was so excited, we always celebrated Christmas really festively during the day and would go to the pureblood christmas ball afterwards.

I had placed all my gifts for the other under the tree last night so presents were taken care of. Me and Draco went to bed in the family's matching Christmas pjs in my wing.

I wake up before him and shake him awake roughly. He groggily opened his eyes, "Wake up sleepy head! It's Christmas!" That made him jolt up right away.

We both hurriedly brushed our teeths and fixed our hair and ran downstairs. Our Parents were already downstairs setting the tables without house elves. On the table were blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes shaped like reindeer, and eggs and sausages.

We always ate a light breakfast and lunch on Christmas to save room for the big feast at dinner.

After we had all wiped our plates clean , Draco ran to the parlour where the tree and gifts were.

We all sat down, me next to Mum and Draco. We started passing out presents and took turns opening it to see each other's reactions. Draco went first opening up his parents' gifts, they had gotten him a new potions kit which had way more ingredients then what we used in school.

Draco had also gotten some new deep blue dress robes from mum and dad, sweets from Daphne and Pansy, and a portable quidditch board game.

I had given him an emerald encrusted diary. In it read a note saying that this diary could only be opened by me or him and it was a way of communicating. WHat he wrote in his copy would show up in mine and we could talk to each other.

I went next, opening up Mum and Dad's gift. First it was a deep red ball gown, it went till a little above my knees and flared out in a crile around me on the sides. It had lace sleeves with flowers embroidered on it. They had also gotten me a diamond bracelet/earring/necklace set that I had been eyeing for a while. It was for the ball tonight. I grabbed them in a tight hug and thanked them.

Aunt and Uncle bought me a magical hairbrush that would style my hair anyway I wanted it.

Daphne got me some new grey boots, and a scarf, and Blaise had gotten me some sweets.

My Final gift was from Draco and it was a dozen books. They all looked like textbooks but I knew they were charmed and they were really muggle books. After that Mum, Dad, and Auntie and Uncle opened their presents.

After that we played some Christmas board games and ate some turkey sandwiches. When it was 4 we started to get ready for the ball. I showered and pulled on my black silk robe. I used my new hairbrush and tied my hair in beautiful braids in a bun. It was held up by a diamond headdress. I applied light gold makeup and pulled on my new gown and put on my jewelry.

Aunt Cissy was wearing a deep green ball gown that went straight down and had lightly curled her hair and pulled it back. Mum was wearing a black ball gown. The boys were all wearing dress robes.

We flooed over to Zabini's house where the ball was being held. We entered their ballroom and started to mingle. I was talking to Daphne while drinking some punch.

Soon it was time for the feast, the long table was filled with turkey's , chickens, chips, mashed potatoes, and many more spreads and foods.

The rest of the night me and Daphne sat in the lounge room with Blaise and Draco playing games until it was time to go.

As soona s we go thome i changed into cozy pj's and fell asleep the second my head touched the pillow

I sighed in bliss at the great break. I soon started reading and fell asleep to the soft glow of the embers in the fire in front of me.
