Entry 2 - The Second Witch Hunter

Disclaimer: This is a fanfic crossover of TLH/TC and an anime/manga series "Yamada & the 7 Witches". Which means this story will be mostly romantic-comedy, fantasy and possibly slice-of-life. And since this will be Lincoln's Log Book… this might be the first attempt to make a non-script story (But mostly on Lincoln's perspective). Oh, and this is an grown up AU where they are in high-school setting, the ship is mostly JORDANCOLN but as the title implies… AS ALWAYS THERE WILL BE HAREM ELEMENTS!

-Previous Log Book Synopsis-

Within the first Entry (Including the sisters' and Clyde's descriptions)… Lincoln's life in high school has begun. The young White-Haired teen has gotten recognition in the entertainment arts of comic writing (mangaka) but his adventurous life is far from over. Lincoln decided to create his log book (diary) of the events in his life to help in his imagination tank, in case that he found inspiration to write new stories for his comics.

But soon, in some unexpected turn of events… Lincoln help his teacher deliver the teaching materials to the office since the said instructor had to leave to obtain a parcel. Lincoln's dodgeball rival, Jordan Rosato followed the boy to the teacher's office but tripped on the flight of stairs. The two teens were unconscious and was brought home by a family member of both. But, they found out the next day that their bodies have been switched! Eventually, they reunited and spent the class day swapped… but since it was Friday, both teens have the rest of shortened period to figure out how to re-swap bodies. At first, they retraced and retried the event from yesterday, by tripping on the same staircase.. but it was futile. Fortunately, Lincoln recalled that during the accident, him and Jordan accidentally kissed. Reluctantly, both gave a french smooch to each other and returned to their respective bodies… only to be caught by their best friends.

With Clyde and Mollie learning of this powers that Lincoln and Jordan have, they instigated an Occult Research Group in their high-school in hopes that they can take advantage of this knowledge and sleuth their way into learning new discoveries of the powers they have gained.

Hey dear readers… It's me, Lincoln Albert Loud! Age - 15 and with a few of my sisters out with LJ often away out of preparation to college. I'm officially going to be the eldest of the siblings since my eldest sisters have lives on their own. Bobby and Lori are together at Great Lakes, living the city life and a few months away before official marriage. Leni is out in more fashion apparel and showing for celebrities in the catwalk modelling with Scott. Luna, constant touring for the music industry with Sam and the rest of the band. Luan and Benny are touring for comedy nights and scheduling for a sitcom TV series as new character for the season.

As of I, I'm still putting my mind on this whole situation with Jordan… and it's time to reveal the second entry of what occurred in Monday & Tuesday. Fair warning, my sisters aren't the highlight of the story so there will be rare interaction with them… so they'll just be cameos or minor influences in the Log Book.

Lincoln Loud - Entry 2 [The Second Witch Hunter]

Date: xx/xx/20xx Event Days: Mon-Tue

It was yet another normal day in school… or at least, by other people's standard, too boring and common. The only thing different is that during break periods (since some academic subjects are vacant on certain days, especially Fri being a shortened day). We spend lunch period talking while eating at the canteen. We were able to expand our circle of friendships. But on the vacant periods… Only Jordan, Mollie and Clyde are with me to the newly opened club room for Occult Research, High-School Branch as we are a mere expansion from the middle school branch from Lucy and Haiku (since Mortician's Club had disbanded due to certain members graduating or leaving).

In this way, we are able to use the swap ability and take advantage of what we know. We made a plan that for every subject that we couldn't handle well, we swap our bodies to help improve one over the other. As much as awkward the kiss method of the swap, we had no choice. After the meeting, Jordan and I swapped to fill certain subjects. Me being on Jordan's body, help in Mathematics and Arts class whilst she controlled my body to help me in Physical Education/Sports and English (as awkward as it may since I am making comic/manga stories). Before the lunch bell rang, we hurriedly swapped back before things get embarrassing. The four of us hasten eating and chatted a little with our friends as Clyde had made an important discovery in the Library. Being student council president had its own perks!

Once finished munching, we swiftly dashed to the club room and Clyde revealed an important book. That book is a journal, an almanac containing information about our powers. The titular name of the book is "Almanac of Witches and Witch Hunters". Apparently, this book is the only book within the High-School Library that isn't new… and it's been kept within the book storage and was warned to never ever throw away even by newer staff members of the school (ordained by the former Headmasters, Superintendent or Principals of the School). Even when the school is torn down and replaced with a new school, these books are to be kept safe and stored as instructed within the letter. Clyde read some of the notes and forewords of these books and various volumes.

To whom this may concern… This books and warning has been made in hopes that whoever shall inherit the "magic" that bathe the premise, they shall know wisdom in handling such responsibility of this occurrence. This ground or rather, this town used to be ground of female shamans as chief of each tribes, seven of them in fact. They were leaders of the tribes and called "Chiefmothers". However during the colonization period, a certain duke-prince from Scotland (Caledonia) came to this place and were met with great welcome. The darkened little sister once eavesdrop on the monthly meeting of the seven shamans and in rebuke, she was chased down. But the young duke, with great love, endured the curses and plagues that the shamans conjured upon her and her family. He took it all and every seventh day (The Sabbath[Sabbatum]/Either Sunday or Saturday) he prayed for heavens in mercy and plead to cease the curse. He was alleviated, albeit small, like a bit of "miracle" to ease his pain. One of the shamans, the youngest actually, saw this when the colonies are building churches within the village. She saw how the duke was slightly cured of the curse and how he was enduring for the sake of his sister. She took pity and took away her curse on him with a kiss. However, the rest of the curse is slowly affecting the other foreigners and was about to strike a riot to destroy the tribal clans. The duke, with desire to cease this bad-blood, sprinted to interrupt the current monthly meeting and warned them to remove the curse. The Shamans are not convinced and the seventh member attempted to convince them too. Still not moved yet are aware of the upcoming civil war, the Duke pleaded with great anguish to the rest of the Shamans to cease the curse as he revealed that it was he who has been carrying the curse and not the gloomy sister, as both siblings used an incantation to pass on the curse of the shamans. But because of his great love, the Heavens above had heard his cry and granted him the power to temporarily endure the "magic". Learning the truth, all the shamans undid the curse and prevented the civil war. The Shamans took liking with the Duke and had him as their "Chief-Father" of the united tribes. He bore seven children, sons and daughters with the seven shamans but he favored the child of the youngest Shaman as it was she that undid the first curse. It was a blissful union of the foreigners and the tribal clans and the known village of Woodshed became the founded… ROYAL WOODS.

It was supposed to be a happy ending but the youngest Shaman perished from a disease, which saddened the duke. Even more, it was the spark of the colonization wars that brought many from the Duke's line and the tribal line to be slaughtered. The Duke, in his old age, founded a safe haven for the rest of the survivors, even the refugee from a Spanish colony (in Mexico) that soon became the replacement for the youngest Shaman. A soldier from the Europe solely struck most of the refugees and half of the Chief-Mothers (the Duke's Mistresses), protecting the sons and daughters of the Duke from them. In anger, grief and anguish, the Duke then turned some of his men of both his line, and tribal line into fighters to defend the rest of his subjects. The remaining Shamans offered the last of their magic by sacrificing their lives to protect the Duke and helped him combating this lone soldier and won. But the soldier had descendants and in that battle, revealed that he gained the slain Chief-Mother's powers for himself. And so the powers vanished and scattered to the whole Royal Woods. As for the Duke's powers, he was entrusted with the remaining powers and soon to be passed to his descendants. As such, he did three conjuration: One, The magic of the shamans will remain in the land and will be choosing seven pure-heart maidens to inherit the will of the Shamans in hope to help them in troubled times. Two, for both his favored sons (The Mexican Girl-Refugee, and from the Youngest Chief-Mother) they shall have the ability to unite the seven wills to grant a wish. Three, both boys will have their own set of seven shamans… or witches and they will be granted magic to counter curses, magic and such… and also for the case that they perish childless, a near-kin or a virtuous male shall inherit the counter-magic known as "Witch-Hunter".

That is the history of the Seven Witches and the Witch Hunter. May the Heavens be ever in thy favour. Godspeed.

Me and the rest learned about the content of the letter. It seemed that the magic that they have aren't just happenstance, but it was done before. What's more, the legend revolve my Scottish ancestor! Talk about coincidence!

And apparently, Jordan had been the inheritor of Witch's magic, giving me and her the ability to swap bodies. I am the nearest kin either of the two noble sons of the Duke, therefor I obtained the Witch Hunter's powers. Clyde apparently said that they obtained this books by accident when both him and his current girlfriend, Chloe. They found it within the secret archives of the Library. Mollie scrolled through the contents of the Almanac. Apparently some written accounts of the Witch powers and their biography are found. Such as they found the youthful days of their former middle-school teacher and widow, Mrs. Agnes Johnson. It was written that she and her husband, Mr. *** Johnson (Blurry) was once a Witch Hunter. He may not be a near kin but he was once a virtuous boy that Agnes fell in love with. Now, that he's gone, his powers are transferred eventually. All the four of us scrolled through the database of the high-school archives of the Almanac… they found the recent one… or at least, before the emergence of the new set of witches. That data found are the recent sets of Witches and Witch Hunters that were granted the wish before the magic vanished and waited a few years before transfer.

The latest set of the Seven Witches and Witch Hunter contained something that even I was so surprised to discover. That database is about… Lori Loud, Carol Pingrey and Bobby Santiago! Apparently Bobby Santiago is near kin to the Duke's Hispanic Son from the Mexican Refugee (so Ronnie and I had that old spark from an ancient ancestor, would that mean that we are a far-kin cousins? So far that we can't even trace our line together?). Back to the topic, Lori's Witch Power is called [Control Freak - Maga de Tyrannus] (Ironic that she was like that even to us before college) which granted her the ability to slightly suggest a command on people's mind (stronger on males) that she almost enslaved them while giving them a false sense of freewill. And that was during her awkward phase with the braces and lenses. Bobby's Witch Hunter Powers is called Resistance [Resistencia] which renders him resistant of the powers and grants him the ability to seal powers with just a touch (although much longer with a kiss). Lori's powers can only work via kisses (and so deactivate the same way), therefor she controlled the school boys into submitting into her will in hopes to stop them from poking fun of her physique until the day she becomes a beauty to compete against Carol Pingrey (and lost subsequently). Meanwhile, Carol's power is called [Captivate - Maga de Lujuria] in which charms anyone she kissed into her bidding. But while Carol's is charms them into worship, Lori's enslaves them into command… similar yet opposites. Carol won homecoming queen because her power grew with this that a touch can slightly charm a male but a kiss is permanent captivation into a love-slave. However, with Bobby having the immunity with his [Resistencia], Carol wasn't able to charm him… and neither enslaved by Lori. And yet, Bobby chose Lori in the end… I'll ask the question for later.

Now that we have learned that of the existence of the Witches and Witch Hunters, we continued research until the bell rang to our next class. Clyde wrote down every detail in his notes while Mollie kept records in her cellphone. Within the lest stand of school before dismissal, Jordan and I swapped one last time to complete our tasks and returned bodies.

By that night, I chatted with Lori and asked her about the Witches & Witch Hunters, and how Bobby and her became the couple they are now. Lori is shocked but figured that I am going through the same experience as she had before. Bobby apparently knew of Carol's scheme and using her charm to make the vote one-sided. It was cheating but she said, "we can't exactly reveal the powers for that would lead to disaster". She has a point though. People might call us crazy or certain people might use us for bad reasons, experiment on us or more. So it was wise to keep things only to those whom we trusted. So Lori hid this idea from us until I have learned about this, it was like passing the torch before her apparent marriage. I asked why did Bobby chose her and to her reply, "it was unfair of Carol to do that so he chose Lori over Carol. She got everything she wanted but not by her own effort, but only through her 'magic'." Due to the immunity via [Resistencia], Bobby is not affected by Carol's powers… but in his kindness, chose Lori. Why? Lori told me that she used her powers on people out of necessity to stop the bullying… she didn't want to abuse her powers (Yeah, right… tell that to your Season 1 Lori!) and that she just wanted to have proper company on the long run (Besides Leni). Bobby became more than just her friend, eventually lover/boyfriend and fiancee/soon to be wife! I guess, that's one way to use your powers right. As for Carol, she didn't find the right man before and even now that she's at the age to find a husband! (Her ex-boyfriend only liked her for her looks, not for who she truly is and when she lost her powers after finishing high-school, everyone she charmed gathered to her and kinda had a fight until they agreed to allied themselves to have her humiliated when she was a College Sophomore.)

Bobby did find all seven witches and had his wish granted, to simply be happy with Lori together. Lori told me that the powers vanished when they graduated high-school, so that's good enough to know. I guess I have 3-4 more years with this powers intact.

The next day had come and it's very much the same as yesterday. We did our classes together, spent the vacant hours in the Occult Research Club… chatted with our friends during Lunch period. Although Stella is absent for the day, she was in sick-leave as the teacher implied from her letter. I wonder why is that, Stella rarely ever get sick. And of course, we never forget to swap bodies every now and then but as much as possible, make it scarce. There's been rumors going around that Jordan and I are dating… not quite true as we're just friends… rivals to be exact but friends nonetheless.

The school session is almost over but when I decided to help our homeroom instructor to carry the materials, I forgot to swap back so I ended up using Jordan's body to help. My body (with Jordan's consciousness) ended up waiting at the ground floor staircase.

[Jordan's Perspective/Lincoln's Body]

Jordan (with Lincoln's Body) saw a certain red-haired teen with green clothing and jeans. Apparently, he combed his hair in style and his freckles had decreased since middle school. Not only that but his former arrogant demeanor had been complete changed into a nicer, benevolent one. But skeptical of this change, Jordan (Lincoln's Body) decided to hide beneath the staircase and wait. The boy in question then encountered a girl and both ascended the stairs. Jordan wondered who that girl is, considering of her spunky outlook, it's a surprise how that boy scored her as a date… but that's yet to be determine. One could mistake them as a couple (hopefully not). Once they made it up, Jordan [in Lincoln's Body] followed them stealthily.

[Back to Lincoln's Perspective/Jordan's Body]

After helping our homeroom adviser, I went back down and I didn't expect to meet up with him… of all people. Chandler McCann, that arrogant, snobbish, jerk that thinks he could get anything he want. I can't believe I even let him use me to get freebies. Because of that one time, I had to help Lori so that she could get her date with Bobby. Then in middle school, he'd still picked on me… the only time he was humiliated, I think that was on that "test of courage" at the haunted mansion… that, and the fact that he couldn't get in my team with my friends at the news cast. Even if that was years ago, it's not as easy to forget.

But something is different from this Chandler that I'm looking at… He called "Jordan" as if we're friends. [I don't think he knew but I am still swapped bodies with her]. I turned and looked, and he walked near me. The exchange of conversation is a bit too obvious, afterall… Jordan and Chandler are ex-couples. He just simply greeted me, but not with an insult, but a show of remnant on affection. I just simply answered that I'm okay (despite not feeling comfortable being in Jordan's body and talking to this creep). But what is quite a surprise is that he didn't brag about having new a girlfriend (the one behind him), rather he simply said that he missed me (or Jordan in this case)…

What happened to this guy? Was the break up so intense that he had a change of heart (albeit, I doubt that). Soon, the girl from behind him head downstairs then Chandler gave me a different look. He spoke, "I may have missed you, but you're not the real you, is it?" What the?.. What does he know about? He spoke "So this is your power, to swap body with a kiss of another person. And I can understand why it had to be Lar- I mean, Lincoln. He's a good boy, unlike me." He continued to speak as my body (with Jordan's consciousness) was dragged to our location, albeit not without a fight. He said "Jordan, don't bother fighting. Just get over here. I know what is going on." The aggressive girl and Jordan (within my Body) climbed the steps and all four of us are chatting. "What do you know?" Jordan asked.

In the conversation, turns out… Chandler changed not just willingly, but an effect of a Witch Power. His girlfriend used to be timid but became a bit aggressive… due to having a power called [Change of Heart (Good Friday) - Paciencia]. She was another set of the Seven Witch, the Virtue type. She had the ability to change the heart of a person from bad to good and vice versa through a kiss. Chandler however, kissed her without knowing. However, this power doesn't change the witch in question, unless it was an effect of a Witch Hunter… Chandler, indeed became the 2nd Witch Hunter. Me and him are the latest/current set of Witch Hunter just like the book said, "Two Will inherit the power of the Duke's noble sons". Chandler's Witch Power is called Plunderer [Robador/Ladrono] which enabled him to steal away (temporarily) Witch Powers, which may seal them from the original host but also use them for himself [which he explained that he can only do so, one at a time]. He stole the girl's powers and in turn, she cannot use them, but it greatly affected him. The girl being aggressive lost her friends because of blaming them… and ended up repeating a grade because of her delinquency. It made her miserable so she's wish to change it all, granting her the witch power. However, every lover she had changed every month. Her kiss changed them from loving into hateful. Chandler, met her from a convenience store near the high school and out of lust and attempt to flirt… it took a turn into what it is now.

Jordan and I swapped bodies and I had called Clyde to write a new journal entry for the Almanac and sign it. I also told him by tomorrow, we are adding a new member to the research club. It seems that the mystery of the Seven Witches and the Witch Hunter is far from over. As for the girl with Chandler, well safe to say that she older than him yet… due a repeater, she stayed in high-school. I sense that she is somewhat familiar… but I can't remember who. She's a 10th grader while Chandler, Jordan and I are from the 9th… making her our senpai (upperclasswoman)… Oh gosh, I'm turning into those anime-philes… using Japanese labels. But I guess that's a new inspiration for my comics and manga that I'm going to be making soon.

What a mess, I'm in.

Example, if Jordan swap with Lincoln during cold influenza, Lincoln's mind/soul will experience the malady while staying in Jordan's Body. This swap can be reversed by another kiss with the same partner and this cannot be performed one at a time with the partner and never simultaneously with another [thus cannot swap with a 3rd person until they decide to return])

AN: And that's chapter two of this Log Book series. I did mention a question before… Who will be Lincoln's Seven Witches (Besides Jordan)? Surprised? Yes, Chandler is indeed a witch hunter, but his own series of Seven Witches might be called the "Virtue Series" (Representing Cardinal Virtues) while Lincoln is the Vice Series (Seven Deadly Sins)… While the former witches and witch hunter (Like Bobby) had unknown series [Bobby possibly the Vice Series while Mr Johnson 'Virtue"], the main similarities between Lincoln and Chandler is that they represents Days in a Week. (Freaky Friday, Good Friday, etc.)

I did say, this will mostly be JordanColn with a Harem but there might be an involvement of Stella, Ronnie, Sid and more. I can't say which is Witch (Get it?) but I hope you'll get the idea. I take suggestions too if anyone would send it to my review section.
