ADAS KALLIG

The moment my sarcophagus broke, I felt the force flooding my veins, rejuvenating my half-dead body and bringing back by long gone strength. I could feel my bones connecting, muscles growing and skin coiling around my flesh, bringing me back to my prime. My every breath was deeper than the last, thanks to the regrown lungs in my chest. My heart, silent for millenia, started to beat again, put into motion by an unseen force.

I tried to move my hand. Arm, which was rotten and motionless only a few moments ago, but now muscular and vibrant, listened to my command, rising into the air. The regeneration of my body was getting faster and faster, as if the force just couldn't wait to finish the process.

I wasn't able to contain my joy. My imprisonment was over. The force began to gather around me, as if lured by the overwhelming emotions that started to fill me. My happiness was so powerful, that I wasn't able to stop myself from screaming from joy. My voice, powered by the newly regained power, carried my first words in the regrown body.

"FINALLY, AFTER SO MANY YEARS, I AM FREE" This shout, full of energy, was accompanied by a violent shaking of the ground. I just couldn't stop myself. Using the force after all these years was sublime. It was like waking from a long dream. I could feel the world around me and the ways I could bend it to my will!

I am free. Who would have thought that saying just three words would bring me so much comfort?

Busy with my newly found freedom I didn't pay much attention to my surroundings, too absorbed by my newly found freedom. Only when I felt the movement of a powerful force signature close to me, I turned around.

Before me stood a man. He had brown hair and a lean face, with a scar on his right eye. He wore some sort of dark tunic, with a light armor placed over it. He had a drawn lightsaber in his hand, that was glowing softly with a blue hue. But the most important thing about him was his power. This guy was glowing like a beacon, as if the force itself was trying to say that this guy was important.

This must have been the Revan-like guy I sensed earlier.

Behind him was probably the girl I sent my vision to. She was a togruta, with orange skin and blue-white lekku and montrals. She was visibly young, most likely not even an adult. She was standing, though with an obvious effort. Why would she have so much trouble?

Shit, I was so excited that I forgot to turn off the earthquake. That's quite embarrassing. I quickly cut the power, before looking at the group again.

From what I was sensing, the human male, in addition to his huge amount of power, was full of raging emotions, barely restraining himself from lashing out. I could feel his aggression clearly. I could only hope he wasn't a berserker. Dealing with crazed bloodthirsty sith can be very annoying. I would know, I was friends with Empire's Wrath, and let me tell you something, this guy was nuts.

When it came to Togruta girl things weren't so obvious, but looking at how the force of Odessen was interacting with her, she must be a grey jedi. Odessen was known for being a planet where light and dark force exist in harmony, so was a most probable option. Well, she could also be a revanite, but I really hope that she isn't. These guys are nothing but trouble.

She was also clothed very lightly, with no armor at all. Her lack of armor, in addition to possessing two lightsabers meant that she was probably a jedi sentinel/sith marauder or whatever it's called when it comes to grey jedi.

They weren't here alone though, as they were surrounded by soldiers equipped with some sort of white armor and yellow droids. They were all laying on the ground, unable to stand up after experiencing my earthquake. I should probably apologize later.

From what I could gather, white soldiers belonged to the first group while the droids were from the second group. I looked at the soldier closest to me. His armor looked solid and functional, colored white with some black additions. His helmet on the other hand was more familiar, as it looked quite similar to the typical mandalorian helmet, which probably meant that these soldiers belonged to some mandalorian army. The most important thing was the symbol on his arm though. It was a circle with a Black sun-like symbol inside.

It was a little different than I remembered, with a circle instead of a hexagon, but it was definitely a symbol of the sith empire. That was great! So they really were from the empire! And they were probably winning, as I was sensing the veil of the dark side in the air. There is no way Jedi would let something like that happen unless they were in a very bad position.

With a relieved smile and a lot of gratitude, I spoke to my amazing sith saviour.

"Man, thank you very much. You don't even know how uncomfortable it was there". I wasn't lying. Imagine having to lie in one position for thousands of years. And it wasn't even a good position, as the bottom of the sarcophagus was uneven. I Started to stretch, hoping to get rid of this uncomfortable sensation. The dark side ritual was strong enough to reconstruct the entire body, but it wasn't able to do anything about the stiffness in the back? Pathetic.

I still had a sith to thank though, so I probably shouldn't get distracted.

"It's good to finally move again. And the smell of the veil of the dark side in the air? Magnificent!"

The man said nothing. He looked confused, which didn't surprise me in the slightest. Normally the freed sith would instantly say that he didn't need any help or even attack his savior, thinking them weak for helping them. I wasn't like that though. Through many experiments conducted during my life I found out that being rational and nice did actually work better than aggression and violence when trying to gather allies and power. It was a controversial thesis though, wildly disregarded by a sith community, so there is a chance that I might be wrong.

Knowing that it's better to capitalize on surprise than to let the sith warrior get angry, I pressed on.

"I don't even know how to thank you for what you did for me. I am in your debt. Oh, I am Darth Imperius but you can call me Adas. What's your name?"

"Anakin Skywalker..." Replied still dazed Man, probably trying to keep up with the conversation. It was good, the less he thought, the less he had to get angry about. But no title? He probably wasn't a lord yet. Not that there is something wrong about it, everyone should progress their career as a sith at their own pace.

"Great. Like I was saying Anakin, you really did me a favor by freeing me from this tomb. And before you say anything, I didn't design it. It was created after my death. If it was up to me, you would have a much harder time getting here"

"Wait, Darth?!" Exclaimed the togruta girl in alarm. Hmm? Oh, she probably didn't expect to find the sith lord here. She expected to loot some jedi tombs. Not that there is any point in doing that, as the only things you can find there are some jedi holocrons, which are worthless. But she is young, so she probably doesn't know better.

"Yes, but you don't have to force yourself to call me that. You can just call me Adas" I smiled, trying to reassure her. It didn't help though, as she started to frown.

"That's not the point!" Shouted Anakin. He was shaking violently, as if restraining himself from attacking me. It didn't surprise me, as it was always only a matter of time before this sith warrior would become violent. The Togruta girl adapted a fighting stance, while both soldiers and droids readied their weapon. Damn, was he really so violent that his own subordinates were ready to fight him?" You are the sith lord! Do you have any idea what it means?!"

Was he angry because of my lack of proper decorum? I know sith are expected to behave in certain ways, but he could cut me some slack. I spent the last three millenia in a glorified trash can!

But before Anakin was able to go berserk, something unexpected happened. Apparently droids weren't able to read the room very well, as they started to fire at everyone else, shooting at clones and force-users.

Everyone forgot about the ongoing conversation, deciding that robotic threat was more important than senseless violence between allies. Soldiers quickly moved to cover, while Togruta girl and Anakin moved to help them, though not before Anakin glared at me, as if reminding me that the conversation is not over.

That way I found myself with nothing to do, in the middle of a heated battle. Neither side seemed to focus on me, deciding that destroying the other group was a bigger priority. I honestly didn't know what to do. One one hand, I could just sit this battle out and just talk to the winner, which would most probably be the group with an angry berserker. That way he would tire himself out, making himself more open for dialogue.

On the other hand, I was indebted to the guy, so I should probably help him. The only problem was that, with his mind in the state of violent frenzy, he could perceive my help as a threat and attack me.

Well, Whatever, he will be violent either way. By helping him I can at least throw a few spells, to test out if everything was working as intended after such a long time.

Deciding my course of action, I started to gather the force around me. Anakin turned around from a battle, clearly sensing the huge amount of the force in the air. Fortunately he was quite far away from me, with many droids between us. I would be able to cast a spell before he would be able to do anything.

With power in my hands, I raised them in the direction of my foes. Electricity started to surround my arms, a clear sign of what would become next. Two lighting bolts shot from my palms, hitting closest droids. They exploded, unable to contain the power rapidly filling their circuits. They fell motionless on the ground, completely destroyed. It wasn't the end though. Bolts started to jump between droids, quickly destroying more and more of them without losing energy, as if feeded by the casued destruction.

In a few moments most of the attacking force vanished, leaving only smoking remains of the former droids. Everyone stopped fighting, not expecting such a sudden change. Not wanting to give droids time to think I started shooting rays of darkness at them, destroying remaining droids in quick succession.

After a few moments, there were no enemies around. Everyone was staring at me in wonder, especially the togruta girl, who was watching me with a really intense gaze. Anakin was already moving towards me, his lightsaber still on.

"Come on, can't we just talk? I am really tired after thousands of years spent buried under the mountain!" Dealing with berserkers was such a pain. I really don't want to massacre the guy I am indebted to. It's considered to be bad manners.

He stopped, not sure what to do. He was frowning really hard, probably trying to think through the haze. It was a good sign. Torguta approached Anakin and started to whisper something. It turned into a full discussion of hushed voices I decided to ignore. It would be rude to eavesdrop, as she was probably trying to calm Anakin down, using some sort of field therapy.

After a while they stopped talking and Anakin turned to me.

"Fine, we decided to try giving you a chance to explain yourself. But don't expect us to trust a sith lord. One wrong move and you are dead. Who are you and what are your intentions? Remember that your life depends on your answers!" He really had no chill. If not for the fact that these emotions were actually empowering him, I would be worried about his health.

"Like I said, I am Darth Imperius. And the second question is actually quite hard to answer, as I don't really know what to do, it's been thousands of years since I was buried here, so my options are quite limited. But I guess, the most sensible option would be to join you? It's not like I can do anything else at the moment" My answer was met with visible confusion from everyone around. Was that really so surprising? Starting your power base from scratch is hard. It's better to just join the organisation and work your way up.

"Why would you want to do something like that? You are a sith!" Shouted Anakin. Well, duh. So are you buddy. " Do you know who we are?!"

"Yes" I replied "you are a sith empire"

The chamber became completely silent. No one said a word for a while, as if unable to voice their thoughts. The Togruta girl was the first one to gather herself. With uncertain voice, she asked:

"...why would you think that?" Hmm? Was she trying to test me for some reason? It was obvious!

"Well, you are led by a violent sith warrior for starters" Before any one of them could reply, I pressed on "There is also the fact that you have symbols of the sith empire on your clothes, your troops consist of the mandalorians, known enemies of the jedi and you rescued an imprisoned sith, going as far as fighting other groups looking for me. Should I keep going?"

After hearing my perfect response, the group reacted in a quite puzzled manner. Anakin became red, looking like he was about to burst, Togruta girl was looking at the distance with empty eyes, while soldiers were looking at their armors, investigating symbols placed on it.

"So..." I asked, hoping to bring them back to the present "can I join you guys?"
