Author's Notes:

Hi, I'm back. First, I want to thank you all for waiting double the allotted time, I'm well now and I can resume writing for the fanfic. The story behind this chapter is super funny.

1st time I wrote it: awful, hated it and deleted it. 2nd time: not too shabby, but it got deleted by accident. 3rd time: actually decent enough to post here, had to postpone due to surgery -

Either way, I'm content with how this chapter panned out, so I won't prolong this for much longer.

The usual review-answering section. Thank you for taking the time to read the fanfic, too!

Gucci Mane LaFlare: I always find the last chapter to be one of the funniest ones in other fanfics. I don't know whether it's due to the setting or the premise, but throwing the campers in the wilderness and telling them to survive is a step up from a talent show, so I'm glad it did justice! Those two are some of the most fun to write because I can just go nuts, haha! And their "alliance" was a last-minute addition! Amy is... Well, Amy is a peculiar character, because we know she's manipulative and rude, but nothing outside of that. And those were Heather's traits, too! So writing something specifically for her was mandatory. I'm glad you enjoyed reading Mickey. I wasn't sure the whole 'bravado' plotline with Brick would stick, but I prefer him going off with something than nothing else!

Episode 7: Phobia Factor

The shot began with Chris standing near the Camp Wawanakwa sign, yet again ready to narrate the show. He was sporting the usual getup he debuted. "Last time on Total Drama Island!" He exclaimed, gesturing wildly with his arms. "The campers had their survival skills put to the test when they spent the entire night camping in the woods." Shots of both teams trekking and setting up the tents appeared.

"Scarlett started to assume a new role inside her team, trying her hardest to stay out of the sight, whereas Amy did the opposite, and purposefully rubbed salt on wounds." The redhead was shown offering to fix Tammy's instrument, and subsequently, Amy poked at Kitty during the nighttime. "It seems like relationships weren't the only thing being put to test! A great downpour began and both teams ended up having to seek refuge away from their camps. There were bears, lightning bolts, and frightened campers!" The grizzly bear that invaded the Gopher's camp appeared on the screen, the same bolt that charred the Bass' tent, and all campers were equally scared.

"In the end, both teams had to spend the night together inside of a grotto, waiting for the rain to stop." All campers stood drenched inside of the cave, shivering due to the conditions. "In the end, it was the Killer Bass who claimed victory once Mickey failed to arrive in one piece. Brick's speech came out the wrong way, and the poor guy got mauled!" Mickey appeared screaming and running from said bear, and later being carried by Chef while sustaining multiple injuries. "His teammates took pity on him, and promptly kicked him out!" A wheelchair-bound Mickey was then shown holding his own picture in the confessional.

"Yup, the challenge was rough, all right." Chris then poked the extinguished bonfire with a stick. "And if I have anything to say, today's will be even more brutal." He finished with a smirk. "What fresh horror have we planned for our campers? Find out now, on Total… Drama… Island!"

Introduction Song

Strangely enough, the show began showing Brick standing on the pier, in the exact same spot it cut off in the last episode. He had stopped saluting, but still silently cried.

Bridgette was the first one to approach him, laying a sympathetic hand on his shoulder, which made him break down crying even more. With no warning, he suddenly spun and hugged her tight. "I-I can't believe I got him v-voted off…!" He exclaimed.

Bridgette sighed slightly but hugged him back while talking to him the kindest way she could. "There, Brick, let it all out…"

Bridgette - Confessional (8)

Bridgette sat in the outhouse, a huge wet stain on her shoulder, presumably Brick's work. "I got to say, I did not think Brick's speech was the catalyst of Mickey's sudden bravery…" She then faced down. "I can see why he'd blame himself, but at the end of the day, Mickey was the one who chose to act as bait."

Bridgette - Confessional - End (8)

As the two of them walked back to the bonfire area, their teammates remained seated. All dead tired from spending the night awake and running from bears and downpours. It was actually surprising none of them had left to rest.

Kitty shot her friend a small smile as the pair approached the stumps, thanking her for reaching out to Brick.

Kitty - Confessional (9)

"You know, I'm still pretty bummed out by what happened with LeShawna, but I have to see the silver lining," Kitty said with a soft smile. "For one, I'm still in the game, but I guess I should be even more grateful I still have my friends with me." Kitty's smile then widened. "Bridgette, Sammy, and Trent, I'm really glad I got to meet them all."

Kitty - Confessional - End (9)

Suddenly, they heard footsteps coming close. The Gophers then raised their heads to see the Killer Bass approach them, carrying several bags filled with all kinds of snacks, presumably from the tuck shop. Amy then sneered in their direction.

"And what are you doing here? Came to rub it in?" She then went back to staring at the ground. Geoff shook his head and stepped up.

"Nah, we brought some of the things we bought from the tuck shop to share with you guys." Geoff then tipped his hat. "It was a rough night for everyone, and we saw how Mickey looked after the bear incident, so we figured you guys could use a bit of this." He offered with a meek smile. The remaining Killer Bass then walked up and sat in a circle, passing around the bags of snacks between themselves and the Gophers. In a way, it felt very nice for them to do something that didn't involve exhausting themselves for immunity.

"Wow, that's… that's actually very nice of you guys." Sammy smiled in their direction, but pointedly toward Devin, who blushed a little but still maintained eye contact. Taking the hint, Bridgette got up from her seat and left the space open for Devin, while sitting near Geoff and Sam, who smiled at her.

"It's only fair," Scarlett said. "It may be a competition, but we don't have to be hostile to each other outside of the game. Besides, we did spend the night together at the cave, a little bit more socialization doesn't hurt." She then put on a smile that was a little too bright, but otherwise raised no attention. Alejandro, who was quiet the whole time, raised an eyebrow but then slowly understood her behavior.

Alejandro - Confessional (11)

The casanova appeared twisting his pendant between his fingers, a small knowing smile on his face. "It seems like Scarlett already knows how to play the social game… Putting that front of being 'oh-so-kind' is a nice way to trick my teammates into believing the spiel, she's good." He then smirked. "I suppose it'll be interesting to see how she plays."

Alejandro - Confessional - End (11)

As the night went on, their downcast looks were slowly replaced by happy ones. Being able to enjoy the little moments was truly something they missed, so they decided to make do with the time they had. The conversation came and went, and even certain rivalries were forgotten in favor of maintaining an amicable air around the campfire.

As the snacks were almost over, Shawn pulled out a gummy worm from inside the package, but due to being stuck to others, it came out way bigger than normal. This, in turn, made Kitty scream at the sight, and jump behind Trent. "AH! SNAKE!" She then cowered behind him, drawing the attention of all other campers toward herself.

Shawn then raised an eyebrow but realized what happened. "Oh, you mean this?" He raised the deformed gummy worm. "Don't worry, it's only a long gummy worm, no snakes around, haha." He then shoved the entire thing in his mouth in one go, which made Sam and Harold laugh alongside him.

"Hey, are you OK?" Tammy asked, concerned about her reaction. Kitty nodded and went to sit back down.

"Yeah, sorry for the sudden scream… It's just… Snakes are something I fear a lot." She explained with a frown. "When I was younger, I got bitten once by a snake and had to spend a whole week in a hospital, so I guess I'm a bit traumatized…"

Trent then side-hugged her and made sure to whisper in her ear. "Don't worry, if there are any snakes around, I'll kill them for you." He then smiled at her, earning himself a small chuckle and a pair of red cheeks from the Asian girl.

Cameron - Confessional (8)

Cameron adjusted his glasses as he sat in the outhouse. "It seems like Kitty's avowal worked as a catalyst for everyone else to be speaking about what they fear the most. It didn't take long, but all seventeen of us ended up confessing to fearing something…"

Cameron - Confessional - End (8)

Harold then spoke up. "If it's of any consolation, I have a mortal fear of ninjas!" Some of the campers looked at him oddly, but he carried on anyway. "I'm serious, they're lethal and could easily get away with killing people in secrecy!"

Scarlett rolled her eyes and corrected him. "Harold, unless you somehow end up in Feudal Japan, there is no way you'll be meeting ninjas anytime soon." Harold shot her a glare but kept his mouth shut. Tammy then went to support him.

"I do agree with him!" Tammy said nodding her head. "Ninjas are scary, but what really makes me shiver are dragons! Some of my RPG Campaigns made me have nightmares because of them!" Amy held back a snort, but it was obvious not everyone took her seriously.

Scarlett - Confessional (15)

"Maybe… maybe it wasn't such a good idea to bring her so close," Scarlett said as she pinched her eyebrows, stupefied by Tammy's words.

Scarlett - Confessional - End (15)

Bridgette then spoke up to alleviate the stares. "Well, I think I'd hate to be stuck in a forest alone." She said and grimaced. "I could do just fine today because we were all together, but being alone? No dice." Geoff shot a sympathetic look at her.

"I get ya." He said and nodded. "My biggest fear is being too uptight." He then went on to describe. "I get antsy every time I think I'd need to dress formally, suit, tie and all, not wearing my hat either…" He then pressed his hat against his head. "And worst, being forced to only speak formally! That sucks!" Some of the campers laughed at his antics, which prompted Alejandro to speak up.

"A sudden change of appearance is also something I truly fear." He said with contempt. "Personally, being seen as "ugly" would for sure destroy me…" Despite his words, his face didn't do so much as break a sweat. "But I don't gotta worry about that, not while I have some people near me." He then shot a flirtatious smile toward Amy, who blushed.

The mean cheerleader then decided to take the stage. "There is nothing that I fear, unlike Samey who's afraid of clowns!" Amy then laughed nastily at her own joke. "That means every time she looks at a mirror she screams in fear, haha!" As Amy clutched her own belly, her younger sister shot her a glare.

Devin then interrupted her laughter, glaring at the older sister. "You two are literally identical twins, does that mean you're also a clown?" As his words dawned on her, Amy's face went beet red. A few chuckles were heard around the campfire, while Sammy smiled at Devin.

"Take that back! We are so not alike!" Amy screeched in embarrassment. However, before she went on, Sammy spoke up.

"I may be afraid of clowns, but at least I'm not afraid of something dumb, like horses." At Sammy's words, Amy shot her the nastiest glare she could muster but stopped herself from lunging at her sister.

Amy - Confessional (9)

Amy appeared with her hands on her hips. "Just for the record, horses are terrifying and I have every right to believe my fear is not dumb!" She then turned around while pouting. "Why would Samey even say that? Ugh!"

Amy - Confessional - End (9)

Sammy - Confessional (10)

"I'm sick and tired of being pushed around by Amy!" Sammy declared, clenching her fists. "I refuse to be treated like that again!" Sammy then slightly smiled. "Wow… Is this what confidence feels like?"

Sammy - Confessional - End (10)

Devin - Confessional (8)

"Amy really is all of that bad stuff Sammy told me, wow," Devin said with a frown. "It's honestly baffling to believe two people who are so different look the exact same way."

Devin - Confessional - End (8)

"What-ever, Samey!" As Amy turned, Cameron jumped in the middle, not wanting the sour taste from the rivalry to permeate for too long.

"Anyway… My biggest fear would be going back inside my bubble…" He then explained what he meant. "My bubble was a measure my mom took to protect me from the world, and staying outside of it has been the best thing ever!" He shouted filled with joy. "So going back inside of it is the last thing I want…"

A few kind smiles were directed at him, making him blush from the outburst and subsequent attention. Shawn then pointed at himself as he spoke. "Being inside of a bubble has nothing on zombies! Those things could definitely tear you limb by limb! Luckily, I know my way around the issue, and have been preparing ever since I was a kid!" Despite the stares, his smile did not waver. "What? I like being precautious."

Someone coughed as the attention was drawn to them. Wiping her glasses with a handkerchief, Scarlett turned at them. "I wish I could have mundane fears such as the rest of you. I mean no disrespect by this, but I believe my fears are greatly worse." She declared with finality.

"And what would that be?" Amy asked with a scoff.

Scarlett smirked in her direction. "Glad you've asked. Defusing a bomb under pressure. Easily." That, of course, removed the smile from Amy's face, as much as it scared the other campers. "I'm not being hyperbolical either, that would definitely be my biggest fear."

A few uneasy looks were traded, but Devin then spoke. "Sheesh, my biggest fear has gotta be blood." He declared with a bashful look. "I really don't do well with it, and looking at my own blood filling a syringe? Hard pass!" The jock stated with a casualty. Despite his lax posture, anyone observant enough could tell he wasn't perfectly fine as he wanted to seem.

"I feel you, bro," Geoff said with a nod. "Seeing crimson blood would definitely make me lose my cool." He then turned to look at Crimson. "No offense." He tipped his hat, acknowledging the goth.

Geoff - Confessional (7)

"Man, I gotta pay attention to the things I say!" He then facepalmed. "What if she thinks it was a jab at her?"

Geoff - Confessional - End (7)

"None taken." She said monotonously. "I guess if everyone is sharing…" She then shrugged. "My biggest fear is cuteness overload. I could have a panic attack if I were stuck in a room like that." She then nodded and showed the others her hands, which were still covered by her outfit. "You can see me trembling just thinking of it." They couldn't see her trembling.

"Well… It fits the bill." Harold said. "What about you, Sam?" He turned to look at his friend, who was still not completely able to look him in the eyes.

"Hehe…" He laughed dryly at being called. "I don't do well with big crowds, so I think my biggest fear would be stage fright?" He then hunched his back. "Well, it would be even worse to get rejected in front of a crowd…"

Trent then sent him a smile. "No shame in admitting that." He then went on to explain his own fear. "My biggest fear has gotta be mimes." Before some of the more mean-spirited campers said anything, he carried on. "I was just a kid back then and got lost from my mom in the zoo. I turned around, and that soulless-looking face was staring right at me." Trent then shuddered at the memories. "Had nightmares for the following two weeks." Kitty then snuggled a bit further into him, rubbing his arm.

"It's all right, Trent. I'll beat up any mime that comes near you, haha." As the two were having their moment, Brick sobbed once again but decided to speak up.

"You are all very brave for admitting your fears in public." He then sniffed a little. "I, however, have unintentionally conquered my own fear this evening."

Alejandro then prodded him, curious to see what the soldier would say. "And what would that be, soldier? Care to share?"

Brick briefly nodded and went on. "My biggest fear is… It's betraying a teammate! And that's what I did with Mickey!" As if the dam broke, Brick went back to bawling his eyes out. The vast majority of the Bass were confused at that but decided to not spark up any more painful memories. Shawn, however, offered his condolences.

"Brick, you gotta remember it was Mickey who decided to do that. You didn't tell him to act as bait, he did it of his own volition." The nutcase then continued. "And besides, Mickey seemed to bear no grudges against you, so I think it's about time you realize and honor his feelings." That particular bit seemed to be enough to make Brick's crying halt.

"You're right… Mickey wouldn't have wanted me to keep crying on his behalf. Apologies, everyone, for souring the mood." Brick then wiped his tears, as he shot a smile at his friend.

Brick - Confessional (8)

"I can't let my team down…" Brick then steeled his face. "I promise I will never betray any of my teammates again!"

Brick - Confessional - End (8)

As Brick finally stopped crying, Courtney spoke. "Can we get some context on that?" Some of the Gophers looked between themselves, not knowing what to say. "I don't mean to intrude, I was simply confused at what went down, and considering we all saw Mickey mauled…"

"I think it's better if we avoid the subject for now," Sammy declared while looking at Brick. "Maybe give it some time…?" Courtney nodded and crossed her arms. No point in fighting a battle you don't need to win.

"Courtney, I almost forgot you were there for a second. You've been quiet the whole evening." Scarlett said with a mixture of mockery and sweetness. "Why don't you come forward and tell us your fear? It's only fair, after all." She then smiled at the C.I.T., who sat up straight from being called out.

"Oh…" Courtney then rubbed her neck. "I don't have any fear, as simple as that."

The campers all looked between themselves, knowing Courtney was putting up a front.

"You can tell us, you know? We're not gonna mock you." Sam said from his stump. Some people nodded at that and encouraged Courtney. The C.I.T. looked torn but ultimately replied.

"I have no idea what you're talking about. Simple." She then put on a confident smile. "There is nothing that I can say I fear." Scarlett was about to interrupt her again, but she was faster. "And before anyone try to prod any further, I'd like to rest for the night, and I advise you all. We'll have a challenge in a few days, so we need to be in top shape." She got up and she went back to the trail, it was clear she was holding a carefully put facade.

Courtney - Confessional (10)

"Just as an F.Y.I.: I don't fear anything, and I was being wholly serious." Her smile was a little too bright. "But Scarlett, I don't know why she was the one to press me on. I thought we trusted each other." As it dawned on her, Courtney's smile was slowly replaced by a sad look. "At least I saw us as friends…"

Courtney - Confessional - End (10)

Some of the other campers got up too, ready to hit the hay and call it a day. Some others were more than ready to spend the rest of the evening together, or at the very least, away from the other campers.

Scarlett made up an excuse to look for something she may have dropped after they went to the tuck shop, so she headed in the opposite direction from the cabins. Harold and Crimson both exchanged looks and nodded.

As Scarlett was walking around, she was muttering to herself. She was obviously mad about something but wasn't overtly angry. "I can't believe Chris is making me go through the woods at night in order to find that stupid idol." As she kept going, she had difficulty avoiding the branches and twigs, given it was nearing midnight.

"Not only that, Courtney refused to talk about her fear… There must be something about her reaction that I can draw from…" Behind her, a shadow was seen moving, and unfortunately, a twig was snapped in half, alerting Scarlett that something was near her.

The redhead quickly turned around, assessing the situation. "Think, Scarlett, it's the dead of the night… Chances are it's a small critter walking around or something, nothing to worry about…" As she glanced, she didn't manage to make out anything. Whoever or whatever it was, they were clearly gone, leaving the brainiac by herself in a midnight-soaked forest.

"This is of no use. I'll begin to act paranoid if I keep walking in the woods at night. I'll search for it at another time." She then huffed and stalked back.

Not realizing she was still being followed, the shadow zipped to the other side and went back to the cabin area.

Harold - Confessional (8)

"Crimson and I had a chance to talk during yesterday's challenge." Harold then coughed from running around. "We agreed that Scarlett was a problem, so we're trying to devise a plan to convince the others of voting her off." He then scratched his chin. "As I was sneaking behind her, Crimson went to our cabin earlier to look through Scarlett's things before anyone else came."

Harold - Confessional - End (8)

As Harold approached the Killer Bass cabin, Crimson came out and slightly shook her head at him, which made him cuss but otherwise retreat for the night. They'd have plenty of time to discuss what he heard another day.

Flash forwarding, the next shot showed the campers lazying around inside the mess hall as they waited for Chris to appear and explain the next challenge. Small chatter came and went, but it was clear they were feeling far more comfortable with each other as a group.

Whether it was due to sharing their fears a few nights ago or because they had been together for two weeks now, no one truly knew, but it was clear things were looking far less dull than before.

The host then suddenly stepped in front of the camera and proceeded to whistle, gathering everyone's attention in the process. "Campers, your next challenge is a little game I like to call 'Phobia Factor'!" As Chris said the name of the challenge, some of the more astute campers picked up on the name and immediately tensed. The campers then exchanged uneasy looks, clearly caught off guard.

Geoff then scratched his head and inquired. "The-what-a-factor?"

Scarlett sighed slightly but responded to him. "Phobia Factor, which means we'll have to face our phobias…" Geoff still looked clueless. "We're facing our worst fears." With that said, Geoff's confused expression shifted to a scared one.

"Aw man…" Then, Geoff perked up at his own realization. "Wait, they couldn't have known what our worst fears are!" He then laughed but noticed no one else joined in. "What? It's not like we… told them…" Realization dawned on him, which made Scarlett facepalm and Chris smirk.

"Now, let me explain a few of the rules so there are no misunderstandings, caveats, and loopholes!" He then shot Courtney a glare, which made the C.I.T. take a stance from the sudden hostility.

Courtney - Confessional (11)

"What was that for?" Courtney asked baffled. "It feels like I'm being targeted by everyone lately!"

Courtney - Confessional - End (11)

"Every camper will get a chance to conquer their fears. Campers that manage to conquer their fears will receive a point for their team." As Chris explained, he took a clipboard and showed photos of all of them, presumably with the challenges written down.

Cameron then raised his hand, interrupting Chris in the process. "Uh, Chris? We have an odd number of campers, which means our team has an advantage, how will that be mended?" The host frowned as he spoke.

"Well aware, Cameron." He then turned to face the remaining campers. "The Gophers shouldn't have been losers, them's the breaks!" Chris added mockingly. He then pointed behind his back. "How about we begin this challenge? Let's head to the amphitheater!"

The shot then changed to show the campers all standing in the same amphitheater they were in two episodes ago. On top of it, a glass box stood while a man stood beside it.

Chris stepped up and looked at the Asian girl clutching her phone tightly against her chest.

"Kitty, all you need to do is carry the snake on your shoulders." As Chris spoke, Kitty began to pale at the thought. "Once you're done, the keeper will remove her and you'll score the first point for your team."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Kitty screamed and almost bolted from the stage, but Trent held her hand and smiled at her, making her reconsider for a brief second.

Kitty - Confessional (10)

Kitty appeared greatly distressed. "Emma, if you're watching this, just know I prefer peonies over white roses…"

Kitty - Confessional - End (10)

Chris smirked as he stepped off of the spotlight. Trent smiled softly at her, while Sammy and Bridgette shot her encouraging smiles. Kitty took a deep breath as the snake wrangler approached her. "You can do it, Kitty… It can't be worse than dealing with Peter again…" The phone-obsessed girl muttered, making Trent raise an eyebrow.

"Wait, who's 'Peter'?" He asked tentatively, but before she could respond, she felt something scaly and cold be deposited on her back. Before she could scream, she slapped both hands in front of her mouth.

Trent - Confessional (8)

Trent appeared with a frown. "No, seriously, who's Peter?"

Trent - Confessional - End (8)

"That's it, Kitty, you got this," Shawn said from their team. "It's almost over."

As the snake was placed, Kitty closed her eyes and gripped Trent's hand harder, making him wince. Once the snake finally settled in, Chris stepped back into the scene.

"And Kitty starts off the challenge strongly for her team! The Screaming Gophers receive their first point!" As Chris announced, two symbols appeared at the bottom of the shot, each representing one of the teams.

The green symbol then raised its count by one, showcasing the Gopher's score so far. The Gophers cheered as Kitty was still paralyzed from fear.

"You did it, Kitty! You're amazing!" Trent shouted, hugging her as the snake was removed from her person. "I'm so proud of you, you know?" Kitty blinked twice, awoken from her catatonic state.

"Oh, my God… It's over?" She whispered as she hugged Trent back. Bridgette and Sammy giggled at their affection display, while Chris motioned for the campers to follow him.

The next shot showed all campers near the pantry inside the mess hall, all of the food was currently stockpiled on the counter, leaving the campers to wonder what rest inside the room. The host then spoke.

"Crimson, your challenge is to…" Before he finished it, he slammed open the door, revealing the new state of the pantry. Completely covered in plushies, stickers, and drawings, ranging from baby blue to pink, with a soft tune playing above. "...spend an entire hour inside of this room!"

Crimson stared ahead, as her eye twitched at the sight. "...I think I'd rather be roasted alive…" She murmured as she looked inside the room. "Can I change my challenge, actually?" She turned to ask Chris, who smirked and shook his head.

"Sorry, it took Chef two hours to paint the room, so no take-backsies!" Chris said delighted, as a pain-soaked Chef walked in the background. Crimson sighed and hung her head, but nonetheless stepped toward the room.

"Oh!" Chris said before he closed the door. "Here you go," He then tossed her a walkie-talkie. "Just in case you wanna give up or something." As she caught it, Chris slammed the door. "Any person you want me to hand the walkie-talkie to?"

Crimson's muffled voice was heard from inside the pantry. "Harold." But to her dismay, Harold had gone to the bathroom right before the challenge was explained.

Before Chris could correct her, Scarlett took the walkie-talkie from his hand and smiled at him, while speaking lowly. "Don't worry, I'll handle this to Haroldwhen I can." She smiled as Chris shrugged and they went out.

Inside of the pantry, Crimson shuddered as the pantry felt like closing in on her. "Too much cute…"

Crimson - Confessional (9)

"Chris… You will pay…" The camera then zoomed in her eyes, which somehow showed flames ignite and a vengeful aura surrounded her.

Crimson - Confessional - End (9)

The next shot showed Bridgette, Scarlett and Chris standing near the edge of the forest, the host carrying two maps. "Girls, both of your challenges will take place in the forest. Bridgette, you'll have to endure an entire hour being alone, here's your map." He then tossed the surfer the map. "Scarlett, follow the path and you'll find a little surprise for you down the trail… Good luck!" He tossed the redhead another map, as he giggled and walked back to the main path.

Both girls traded looks, but sighed and followed the directions. The shot focused on Bridgette in particular, who grew worried. Her frown deepened as she soon wasn't able to hear Scarlett's footsteps either.

"All right, Bridgette, stay on the path, don't become paranoid, your team is counting on you…" She murmured to herself as she stepped inside the forest once again. "Just gotta spend…" She then looked at her wrist watch, sighing sadly afterwards. "...54 more minutes…"

The remaining campers were then shown outside of an RV, presumably Chris'. "Geoff and Alejandro, come inside, your challenge will begin in a bit." As he said that, he smirked toward both boys. Geoff gulped and Alejandro glared at the host, as both of them went in.

The next shot showed two nearly unrecognizable people coming out. Geoff was wearing a full suit, a monocle on his face, wearing gloves and carrying a top hat, whereas Alejandro wore baggy clothes, an ugly-looking wig and prosthetics on his face to simulate ugliness.

Alejandro - Confessional (12)

"The things I do for this team…" He sighed and lowered his head. "José, if you're watching this, you better not say anything when I get back!" He threatened his own relative, while shaking his fist with a murderous look.

Alejandro - Confessional - End (12)

The campers tried to stifle their laughs as they walked toward the group, both looking extremely uncomfortable.

"Must we… Must we really go through this?" Alejandro asked as he tried to shield his face, earning himself a slap from Chris.

"Yes, for the whole day, don't even try to get it off!" The host then laughed at the campers, as Geoff stayed quiet. "Oh, and Geoff, you also gotta act uptight, so don't even think about breaking off of character!"

Geoff coughed as he tried his best. "I understand indubita… indubibably?" He tried, earning a few groans from his team.

"It's indubitably, Geoff," Cameron said while adjusting his glasses. Courtney facepalmed as Sam and Devin held back chuckles.

"We are so not getting this point…" Courtney whispered to herself as Geoff fiddled with the monocle.

"Thanks, bra-, I mean, thank you, sir." Geoff corrected himself as he took a bow.

Alejandro, on the other hand, was taking things rougher than ever. "Amy, mi amor, I don't look that bad, right?" The cheerleader avoided his eyes, disparaging him. "Brick, soldier?" The soldier tried to smile at him and give him a thumbs up, but his expression looked more like a grimace than anything. The casanova sagged as the weight of ugliness settled in.

"Dude, this looks kinda sick," Devin said as he stepped closer. Chris then stepped up before the jock could carry on.

"Speaking of sick, Devin, you got an appointment with Nurse Chef in the infirmary!" Chris then smirked at the paling Asian. "Heard you wanted to donate blood, aye?"

The shot changed to show Devin strapped to a chair, while Chef appeared with a comically large syringe. Devin's expression went south as he saw the object. "Uh…" He drawled out as Chef came closer with a smirk.

Devin - Confessional (9)

"Does Chef even have a medical license to do this kind of stuff?!" Devin asked exasperated. The realization then dawned on him. "Who am I kidding? Of course, he doesn't!" He then covered his face with his hands.

Devin - Confessional - End (9)

As Chef came near, Devin looked around the room. Sammy shot him a smile, while Geoff tipped his top heat and Sam gave him a thumbs up. However, Chef's apparent presence was enough to offset the newfound confidence of his friends.

"Wait, wait!" The jock then began to thrash around in the chair, unwilling to let the syringe come any closer. "I don't know if I can do it!"

The younger cheerleader, despite knowing he was on the other team, stepped up. "Devin, hey, it's gonna be-" Before she could soothe him, a horn blared behind her, making the campers focus on the sound.

A clown. Sammy's eyes widened at the sight. The clown shot her a smile and pressed flower on his costume, shooting some water at Sammy's face. The sudden shock wore off, and the cheerleader wholly forgot about Devin's conundrum. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" She screeched as she ran out of the door, the clown hot on her heels.

Sammy - Confessional (11)

"O.M.G.!" She exclaimed as she was barely able to catch her breath. "That thing was behind me the whole time?!" A familiar horn blared from outside the outhouse, sending her screeching again. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Sammy - Confessional - End (11)

Back with the campers, Chris and Amy were laughing at the display, while Chef stood on standby. Some of the more empathetic campers were looking forlornly at the door while sending disapproving looks at the aforementioned ones. "Oh, man… That was great!" Chris said while wiping the tears from his eyes. "But, we still got a challenge to do, and from the looks of it? Seems like it won't be a point for the Bass~" The host finished teasing the team.

Geoff was about to speak, but Courtney covered his mouth. "I know you want to cheer him up, but if you break character we lose a point. Let me handle it." Geoff nodded sadly, not able to support his bro.

Courtney coughed to call for Devin's attention. "Devin, I know you're scared, but think about it this way." She then steeled her eyes at him. "If you can't even get some blood drawn, we're gonna vote for you." Devin's horrified face went into a shocked one.

Before he could reply, Sam's voice cut through the tension. "What are you even saying?!" The sudden outburst caught some of the campers off guard, considering Sam was more on the quiet side. "Devin, we're not gonna vote you off if you can't do it. Sammy and Geoff can't support you right now, and Courtney doesn't know how to." The C.I.T. in question scoffed but kept quiet. "But you're my friend, and it's time I repay you back for befriending me, so I believe you can do it!"

Some of the other campers smiled at his confidence, while Geoff added. "Precisely as our friend Samuel put it!" As the campers, Devin included, smiled at Sam's speech, the gamer ducked back once again, the confidence wearing off.

Sam - Confessional (8)

Sam appeared rubbing his neck, still blushing from the attention. "I don't know what happened there," He then adjusted his glasses as he stared at the camera. "I guess I got a power-up, only cause I really enjoy being their friends…"

Sam - Confessional - End (8)

With newfound confidence, the Asian jock steeled his expression as he glared at Chef. "All right, I'm ready!" Chef shrugged and came closer, dropping the prop and prepping Devin's arm.

"Whatever you say, pretty boy," Chef smirked as Devin's face fluctuated between confident and fearful. "Hang tight, this will only sting a lot." Before Devin could ask what he meant, a piercing sensation sent him into a panic.

It was only due to Sam and Geoff's incentive that he pulled through, biting his fist to stop himself from screaming at the sight of blood flowing through the object.

Once Chef was done, Devin sighed in relief, as Chris stepped in again. "I didn't think he had it in him, but he did it! The Killer Bass score their first point!" The scoreboard showed once again, both teams were tied at 1. Before they continued, an explosion was heard from the distance, making all campers look at each other with worry.

The shot quickly changed to show Bridgette, who was seated at a log in the middle of the woods approached by a woodland critter. "Aw, you're kinda cute…" As she approached the animal, the same explosion heard before went off, this time much clearer due to being nearby. The critter ran off, startling the surfer. "What the hell?!"

Lo and behold, a trash-covered Scarlett appeared trudging toward her, sending the surfer running for safety. "AAAH!"

Once again the shot changed, showing all campers standing outside the infirmary, this time Bridgette ran past them as Scarlett wasn't too far behind. Chris smirks as he tuts. "And that's both Bridgette and Scarlett's challenge failed. Neither teams get a score, oops!" As all campers looked sad, Scarlett finally came near the group, handing Harold the walkie-talkie.

"This is for Crimson, in case she needs to keep contact." The dweeb accepted it, despite the malodor, and Alejandro groaned at the redhead.

"Do you mind? Not all of us wish to smell like garbage." The casanova scoffed, while the brainiac turned to glare at him.

"Oh, I see we decided to match for today." She sassed him as she trudged toward the bathhouse, making the campers snicker at the comeback.

Alejandro - Confessional (13)

Alejandro, still wearing the costume, seethed at his "ally's" words. "That was so uncalled for! I'll have her know we, The Buerromuertos, take pride in smelling as best as we can!" He declared while turning his head.

Alejandro - Confessional - End (13)

As Scarlett made her way to the bathhouse, Shawn came out of the same door, getting caught off guard by the appearance of the redhead. "AH! Zombie!" Shawn screamed as he began to pummel the genius in front of him. "Get away, foul beast!"

The redhead began to thrash around, trying her best to avoid getting pummeled. "Shawn, Shawn! It's me, Scarlett!" She screamed as some of the other campers came near them to aid her. Shawn was then held back by Brick and turned to Chris.

"Chris, man, I knew you were messed up, but to infect one of the campers for the challenge?! Not cool!" Shawn declared while still pumping with adrenaline. "Now let me at it so I can finish the job!" As Scarlett was tidying herself from the scuffle, some of the trash bits that covered her fell onto the floor, showing she was not, in fact, a zombie. "Oh… Sorry…" He said meekly while the redhead glared at him.

"You imbecile…" Scarlett muttered as she went inside the bathhouse.

Chris smirked and spoke. "OK, that was too funny. I would have another challenge for you, Shawn, but beating up Scarlett by accident was way funnier. The Screaming Gophers win another point!" The scoreboard updated, showing the 2-1 score.

Courtney scoffed as she stepped up. "Seriously?! He assaulted her! That's not fair!" Shawn ducked his head, as he avoided the angry brunette. Chris shrugged and smiled.

Chris - Confessional (4)

Chris appeared with a smug look while holding a clipboard. "My show, my rules, hahaha!"

Chris - Confessional - End (4)

The next shot showed Crimson once again inside the pantry, this time all of the plushies were stacked in a corner of the room while she sulked in the other. "This… sucks…" She muttered. Suddenly, the walkie-talkie gave a sign of life, catching her attention.

"Crimson, can ya hear me?" Harold's muffled voice rang through the object, making Crimson pipe up.

"Yes, I'm here." Harold then went on.

"Look, I'm going to try to infiltrate the cabin once again, Scarlett is currently busy on the showers, so I should have ample time." Even more, muffled chatter came from the walkie-talkie. "I gotta go, I'll talk to you later, good luck on your challenge, Crimson." The line then went mute, letting Crimson be alone yet again in the happiness-padded room.

The goth sighed as the plushes seemed to stare at her. "This couldn't get any worse…" Suddenly, a children's lullaby began to play from inside the room, making Crimson glare at the camera. "Great…"

The shot changed, showcasing Chris standing near a human bubble, while Cameron was perplexed at the sight. "What." He said ghastly. "That's nearly the same as the one from back then…" He then doubled over, clutching his stomach. "I think I'm gonna be sick just by looking at it."

The host then came forward. "Cameron, your challenge is to stay inside of the bubble while Chef rolls you around the camp without getting sick." Chef then came into the shot with a grin etched on his face.

"I… I don't know if I can do it…" Cameron's pale figure muttered as he took a step back, making Courtney fidget.

Courtney - Confessional (12)

Courtney appeared with a frown. "My usual way to support my teammates has clearly gone wrong…" She then stared at the camera with a sad look. "And besides, it's Cameron! He's the closest thing to a friend I have here… I think I really need to dial it back down…"

Courtney - Confessional - End (12)

The C.I.T. then stepped forward, shooting her teammates a small smile. "Cam, please… We need this point, we believe in you!" She said with emotion lacing her voice, making the scrawny boy look at her. "We get it if you can't do it, but please try…?" She asked tentatively.

Tammy and Sam both shot him grins, too. "All right, I guess it's only fair I try, too…" He gulped and took a step toward the ball. "Wish me- Ah!" Suddenly, Chris pushed him inside and sealed the ball, making him tumble. Chef then smirked and ran behind the ball. "Wait!" Cameron's voice sounded muffled from inside the ball, and the sudden push made him roll around inside the bubble yet again.

"Up you go, kid!" Chef shouted as he began to push Cameron. The only thing that could be seen inside the ball was a red blur being shaken around as Chef pushed the bubble, making the campers wince at the sight.

"Is that… Is that safe?" Tammy asked as she was horrified at the image.

Chris shrugged noncommittally. "Probably." Earning himself a glare from the other campers, he laughed once again. "Hey, has anyone seen Harold? I was planning on him being next…"

The next shot showed Sammy running away, albeit slowly due to her heels. She turned around a corner just as quickly, slamming herself against the back of a cabin. She was catching her breath from running for so long.

The cheerleader poked her head out tentatively, seeing no clown hot on her heels, she sighed happily. "I think I finally managed to lose him…" Suddenly, the horn played beside her, giving her the scare of a lifetime. "Damn it!" She took off once again, but just as she tried to go inside the cabin, Harold came outside, making the two of them crash into each other.

"Ow!" Both exclaimed from the sudden shock. "Gosh, watch where you're going!" Harold chided the younger sister as he rubbed his own forehead.

"Sorry!" She said as she got up. Sammy then noticed the clown was nearby, making her trample Harold as she went inside. "I'm sorry!"

As Harold was still recovering, he grabbed the fallen walkie-talkie and tested it. "Hey, Crimson, can you hear me?" The lullaby came through the other side, but the goth didn't respond. "At least it's not broken… Well, the good news is that I found something to convince the others to vote Scarlett off!" He declared happily as he once again spoke via the walkie-talkie.

No sound came from the object, prompting him to continue.

"Since I have to reunite with the group, I'll hide these notes in the boat shack. That way Scarlett won't be able to get them back, and in case something happens, either one of us can get it." The dweeb then looked around, as he heard footsteps coming near the cabin once again. "I gotta go, see you soon." He took off just as someone came inside.

Harold - Confessional (9)

Harold appeared with the same clipboard in his hands and a smirk on his face. "Scarlett, you are going down…" He then laughed. "That's what you get for shaving my eyebrows!"

Harold - Confessional - End (9)

The scene showed Sammy once again running, this time she crossed paths with the main group, who was following Chris around.

"Sammy, are you OK?" Kitty asked as she hid behind them, the clown somehow sneaking around.

"No, I mean, yes. I don't know…" She whined as she darted her eyes around. "That thing just has been chasing me for so long…"

Alejandro then piped up, despite the ugly costume hiding his features. "Chica, it's just a clown, how bad can it be?" Amy snorted and added venomously.

"Yeah, Samey. Just do it already!" Amy then snarked. "Or would you rather I told everyone," Her eyes followed Devin as she grinned maliciously. "About your failed date attempts?"

Sammy's eyes bulged, but before she could protest the clown hopped in front of her. "Ugh…"

Chris then stepped up. "You've had plenty of chances, Samey. All ya gotta do is hug the clown and ask him to leave, you know? If you can't do it now… Well…" Chris added as he made thumbs down. "That means no point…"

Devin then came close to her. "Sammy, I've done my challenge, so I believe in you, too!" He then smiled at Sam. "All because of my buddy!"

Sammy smiled at the two, gaining some confidence at their display. "You're right…" She took a step forward, intending to hug the clown, who smiled at her while pressing his horn.

"O.M.G.! Get a move on, Samey!" Amy barked out, earning herself some glares. "I can't believe you are even my sister, you're such an embarrassment!" The older twin said while glaring at Sammy. "No wonder you got rejected so soundly that day at the carnival! You just wait until I tell everyone how you had a milkshake shoot out of your nose!"

"Shut… UP!" Sammy screamed, but without looking at Amy, she seemed to be focusing on the clown. "I HATE YOU! YOU ARE THE WORST SISTER EVER! I WISH MOM HAD PUT YOU TO ADOPTION OR SOMETHING!" She screamed furiously as she tackled the clown to the ground. The younger sister's untapped rage apparently came out, but toward the wrong person. Soon, she was slapping the clown silly as she screamed and cried, making all campers take a step back. "I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU!"

Geoff - Confessional (8)

Geoff sat stupefied at the scene. "I never knew someone so shy could have that much anger inside of her…"

Geoff - Confessional - End (8)

Courtney - Confessional (13)

Courtney sat with a frown on her face. "That Amy girl? She's nasty, I'll tell you that. I get some anger bouts every now and again, but that was too far!"

Courtney - Confessional - End (13)

Trent - Confessional (9)

Trent was glaring at the camera. "Amy isn't making things easy. If we lose, she'll probably be the one going out." Trent said with finality.

Trent - Confessional - End (9)

Clown (?) - Confessional (1)

The same clown that was used for Sammy's challenge appeared, this time he was completely covered in gauze and looked extremely in pain. "They didn't say I was gonna get beat up…"

Clown (!) - Confessional - End (1)

Amy - Confessional (10)

Amy looked extremely pissed. "That cow! I can't believe she'd say something like that!"

Amy - Confessional - End (10)

Sammy - Confessional (12)

Sammy appeared crying inside the confessional. She hugged her knees and cried even louder.

Sammy - Confessional - End (12)

Back with the campers, Chef had finally returned with a puke-covered bubble and Cameron passed out inside of it, while an intern helped the clown get to the infirmary and Brick held Sammy back. "Wow… That was… something." Chris declared with pursed lips. "Sadly, that means Samey lost her challenge, so the Gophers and the Bass don't get their points for Cameron and Samey's challenge." He then tapped into his earpiece. "Make sure the clown doesn't sue, write the small print or something, I don't care!" He whispered harshly.

"Wait, but she confronted her fear!" Devin said from beside her. Scarlett, however, entered the scene once again wearing a smug grin.

"Lovely, but she needed to hug it out and ask the clown to leave, not act like a neanderthal, like some people." The redhead said as she had some bandages on her head, courtesy of Shawn, who received a scathing glare.

Chris nodded albeit frowning. "Hey, don't steal my spotlight!" He then pouted. "But it's just as she said, sorry Ms. I-got-anger-issues, you weren't supposed to beat up the clown." Sammy hung her head in embarrassment as Amy smirked, despite the glares sent her way. "That means the score is still 2-1 Gophers, surprising given the Bass had the advantage, hahaha."

Courtney sighed as she dropped her eyes to the floor. "At this rate, we're definitely gonna lose…" She then looked exasperated. "Unless we can pull off a miracle, we're doomed!"

"Hey, easy now, we still got half our team to try and compete!" Sam said with enthusiasm. "Both of us included!" Chris smiled at the gamer.

"So nice of you to volunteer yourself, Sam!" The gamer gulped as the host smirked at him.

The next shot showed the campers at the amphitheater once again. Sam stood by himself on the stage, while the remaining campers were seated at the benches. Chris once again took it upon himself.

"Sam, all ya gotta do is confess your feelings for someone of your choice, even if you don't really like them."

The gamer stared at the crowd, which looked at him with varying emotions, some were filled with pity, while some were neutral or even amused at the scene. "Well, hehe…" He laughed drily. "I don't know how to even do that…" Sam gulped as he scanned the crowd.

Devin then came up to the stage. "Look, dude, you got this, OK? I promise you, no one is going to laugh at you. We're your friends." Devin said earnestly just as Chris came up the stage to drag him to the benches once again.

Sam breathed in, grabbed the microphone, and poured his "feelings" out. "Kitty, I just wanted to say I-I find you to be very pretty, and I think you are very sweet, too! W-Would you go out with me?" Sam asked wide-eyed as fast as possible, taking the audience completely shocked.

The Asian girl looked at him initially with surprise at the confession, but she quickly smiled at him and giggled. "That was sweet, Sam." She then smiled at Trent, who pulled her further close to him. "No need to get jealous, Trent, haha. This was only a challenge."

Trent grunted but smiled at the girl. Whereas Devin and Geoff both ran up the stage to congratulate their friend. Cameron shot him a weak smile but otherwise bent over the bench again to retch.

Trent - Confessional (10)

"OK, look, I know it was just part of the challenge, but Sam better watch out," Trent said with a frown. "Kitty is still… Well, she isn't mine, but we're making progress, so I don't think I'd like anyone interrupting us!" Trent said with finality.

Trent - Confessional - End (10)

"Dude! You did it!" Devin said while high-fiving him, just as Geoff did too.

"Dude, you were awesome!" Geoff said but quickly slapped his hands over his own mouth. "I mean, you were most courageous…?" Chris interrupted the cheering trio, however.

"Well, that's two challenges finished, Sam earned a point for his team, but Geoff didn't, so sad!" Chris mocked the three as Geoff frowned. The scoreboard once again showed, this time another tie 2-2 took place.

"Aw, man… And I was doing so well, too." Geoff walked off toward the prop room to remove the costume, not before being joined by Bridgette.

"Hey, Sir." She jokingly teased him as they were walking back. "Do you wish to sojourn at the pier after this? We could frolic, if you will." She added imitating him.

"Why, yes, madam. I'd very much like so." Geoff replied earning a giggle from the surfer as the two went together.

The next shot showed Tammy running away from Chef, who was dressed in a very poorly made dragon costume, while Trent ran from the other side being chased by a mime. Both teens stopped before their fears approached and traded looks.

Soon, the next shot showed both of them with their instruments out. "Tammy, you ready?" The LARPer nodded and they both began to play their instruments. Both Chef and the mime stopped and looked at each other, confused at their actions. Chef shrugged but offered his hand to the mime, who happily took it. Soon, both of them were dancing to the music being played by the duo, earning points for both of their teams.

Tammy - Confessional (8)

Tammy appeared with a bright smile on her face. "It's been a while, but Trent and I were finally able to play together! It makes me happy to see someone who's so talented on the island!" She then looked remorseful. "Well, there's Courtney, too, but she's… Well, not the friendliest…"

Tammy - Confessional - End (8)

The scoreboard once again updated, both teams with 3 points each.

The next shot showed Amy running away in fear of a funny-looking horse, apparently screaming in fear while Alejandro facepalmed at her. He went after her, carried her on her shoulders, and plopped her on the horse's back. Chris grinned while Courtney glared at the host for being unfair. The scoreboard updated once again, with the Gophers taking the lead.

Harold then appeared to be surrounded by ninjas, those that wielded several different weapons. Suddenly, Harold pulled nunchucks out of his pants and began to flail them around, scaring the ninjas due to his apparent proficiency. Before he could proceed, he managed to knock himself out, making the ninjas, Chris, and Chef all laugh while Scarlett shook her head at their antics.

The campers then went back into the pantry, given Crimson's challenge had finally ended. However, as soon as Chris announced she could come out, her hand shot out from the door, bursting a hole through it as she lunged at Chris. This, of course, made all campers laugh at the host being pummeled by the goth.

Alejandro tried to cuddle with Amy as they were walking, but his costume made her nervously shudder away from him, earning some snickers from the others. The casanova then forcibly removed the prosthetics and costume, sighing in relief from not being "ugly" anymore, which earned a few groans from his team. Another lost point.

Suddenly, all campers stood on top of the cliff while Chris nursed a bruise on his face, coursey of Crimson. He then began to explain Brick's challenge.

"Brick, all you gotta do is push one of your teammates down the cliff. You betray them, very simple." Chris said as he smirked at the Gophers, all of whom glared at him.

"I… I don't know if I can do it…" Brick said meekly, still slightly upset about the events of the previous night.

"Dude, don't worry about it," Shawn said as he stood near the edge. "We've all jumped this before, pushing us should be easy." Despite his words, Brick still tensed but took steps near them.

"Yes, he is right, my friend," Alejandro said from nearby. "No one is going to hold this over your head, you know? We're all cheering you on." The casanova said and slapped his hand against Brick's back.

Amy scoffed from beside him and turned around. "Yeah, get on with it, Brick, we don't get all day, ugh." Recalling her previous words, Brick silently pushed her off. Amy screeched due to the sudden push, but she soon hit the water with little to no problem. Some of their teammates laughed at the blonde's misfortune, and Chris raised his hand.

"And Brick scores another point for the Gophers!" Chris declared. Amy, who was still down there, began to whine.

"Ugh!" Then, several fins began to swim around her and her eyes widened at the scene. "Not this again… Someone help me!" She shouted as she swam away, with the sharks giving chase.

Brick - Confessional (9)

Brick appeared with a small smile. "I normally would have more issues doing that, but Amy has been a real pain these past days, so I think she deserved it." He then looked down. "Though I do still feel bad, I gotta thank Shawn and Alejandro for supporting me." The soldier then smiled at the camera.

Brick - Confessional - End (9)

The C.I.T. then spoke up. "I don't get it, seriously!" She then turned to look at her team. "How did we lose this challenge when we had the advantage, people?!" She put her arms on her hips and went on. "Seriously, what's up with that?"

Cameron interrupted her before she berated them more. "Uh, Courtney?" The Hispanic girl then spun to look at him with a raised eyebrow. "Aren't you forgetting we have one last person who needs to face their fears…?"

Courtney frowned and made another headcount. "Uh, no? All eight of you tried, so I'm not missing anyone." Her teammates then traded looks, but before they could say anything Chris interrupted them.

"What about you, Courtney?" He asked with a smirk on his face. "You forgot to count yourself, haha!" The C.I.T. took a step back with a smug look on her face.

"Well, unlike my teammates, I was smart enough to not declare my fear out loud." Due to her word choice, Scarlett fumed as she glared at the brunette.

"So you do have one, right? This means you simply held it off from telling us." Scarlett said with faux innocence.

"Wait-" Courtney said, realizing what she had implied. "No!"

Chris waved his hand at her. "No, you're right, you didn't say your fear, so I guess that means you automatically lose the challenge, too," Chris said nonchalantly, making Courtney stare at him.

"Wait, what?" She questioned, flabbergasted at the thought.

"Look, it's simple. The challenge was to conquer your fears. If you don't have a fear, that means you can't conquer it, thus you automatically lose a point for your team." The Killer Bass all turn to glare at Courtney. "So I guess you're fine with your teammates knowing you didn't even try winning your challenge, thus letting your team down! How sad!" Chris mocked her, making her realize he was right.

"I-I, but… That's not fair!" Courtney whined.

"I never said I'd play fair!" Chris exclaimed happily back. "So which is it gonna be, Courtney? You got a fear or not?"

"Wait, does that even matter?" Shawn asked from beside Brick. "I mean, at best she could tie the score, but that's still not enough to win, you know?" Chris then snapped his finger.

"That's fine, easily solvable." The shot then changed to show Courtney in front of a jelly-filled hot tub as all campers stood nearby. "Since Courtney finally relented and admitted her mortal fear of green jelly, her challenge will be a little different."

Devin - Confessional (10)

Devin looked at the camera with a raised brow. "Seriously? She made that much fuss because she was scared of green jelly?" He then glared at the camera. "And she had the gall to scream at me!" Devin scoffed as he turned.

Devin - Confessional - End (10)

"So, what's the catch?" Cameron asked as Courtney still looked terrified at the jelly.

The host turned and addressed Courtney. "If you jump into the tub, you will score two points for your team, earning your team the victory," Chris said with a smirk.

"That's not really fair, you know?" Alejandro asked from their group. "The Bass already had an advantage and now they have another shot at winning?" The casanova glared at the biased host.

"Yeah, I know," Chris said and shrugged. "I don't really care though, maybe next time let one of yours be the last one to try and conquer their fears and you'll get the bonus points, haha!" The Latino rolled his eyes but closed his mouth, waiting for Courtney to proceed.

"Courtney, remember what you told me?" Cameron said as he approached her. "We really need these points… Please, at least try…" Courtney looked shocked at her own words being used against her, but she nodded.

The C.I.T. began to climb the ladder that led to the diving board, steeling her nerves. Suddenly, Amy began to sneer.

"Ew, this green jelly really looks like snot! And with today's heat? I bet it's all warm and soggy and gross!" She said all while staring at Courtney, clearly trying to psyche her out.

"Hey, knock it off!" Geoff said. "Don't let it get to you, Courtney! You can do it!"

"Yeah, you got this!" Cameron chorused as she finally reached the top.

"I… I have to do it…" Courtney muttered to herself. She looked down and saw mostly encouraging faces, but Scarlett's neutral caught her off guard. "Why isn't she encouraging me…? I thought she'd be the first one to want me to jump so we don't lose…" Courtney shook her head and took a step forward. "No! Forget her! Your team needs you, Courtney…!" She once again tried to reason it out with herself.

A moment of silence overcame her, and all campers looked at her, unsure of what she would do. She took another step forward… And another…

Time seemed to have slowed down, the campers were all holding their breaths for her next move…

Courtney faced the deep end and closed her eyes. It was now or never, she couldn't let her team down.

She took another step…

Before she could jump, she cowered and went back down the ladder as she cried. "I'm sorry! I can't!" Her teammates hung their heads low as they had lost the challenge. "I'm sorry!" She cried once again, avoiding looking at all of them.

Cameron - Confessional (10)

"I really hoped Courtney won the challenge for us." Cameron began as he looked sad. "I just hope the others won't try to vote her off… They wouldn't be wrong, she did lose the challenge after all… I just don't want to see her gone, she's a good friend." Cameron finished sympathetically.

Cameron - Confessional - End (10)

Chris then stepped up. "With Courtney's loss, that means the Screaming Gophers win this challenge!" The scoreboard then showed the final score, 5-4 in favor of the Gophers. "Gophers, you've won another week of immunity! Congratulations!" The Screaming Gophers all cheered at their loss streak finally being broken. "Killer Bass, what can I say?" He turned to look at the Bass with a frown. "Meet you all at the campfire ceremony!" The host then walked off, leaving the campers to either cheer or think of who to vote for.

Scarlett, however, left the group with a cryptic smile.

The next shot showed all campers but Harold in the Mess Hall. The Gophers seemed in a high mood, whereas the Bass were all staring down at their laps or quietly chatting among themselves. Suddenly, the dweeb came inside the building with a smirk on his face, directing a glare toward the brainiac.

"Fellow Bass, I have an announcement to make!" Harold declared, catching the attention of all campers, rather than only his own teammates. "There is a traitor among our group, someone who deems themselves above the rest of us, and I have solid evidence about this!" Now that definitely caught the attention of everyone, even Chef came forward from the kitchen to witness the event.

"Oh, this is gonna be good," Chef says and shoots an SMS to Chris. "He has to see this, haha."

"Well?" Courtney asked. "Get out with it, Harold."

Harold smirked and slammed down Scarlett's clipboard on the table. "Feast your eyes on this!" Some of the campers stood up to read whatever was written. Harold crossed his arms and smirked toward Scarlett, while Crimson had a small smile etched on her face.

"Day 5, we've had yet another challenge just the day before. We had to stay awake after several tiredness-inducing activities. Today, we lost and had to vote for someone else, this time it was Owen.

It pains me to say, but I voted for him. Nothing against him, but he wasn't being the most useful. However, I like how my team has shaped up so far. Plenty of strong players and I believe we've got a fair shot at winning.

Signed,

Scarlett."

As Tammy read the entry out loud, Harold and Crimson both turned quickly. "Wait, what?"

Scarlett finally made herself known. "I should be the one asking that! I was looking for my diary! How dare you steal it from my things!" Scarlett exclaimed as she snatched the clipboard from the table. "Theft is a crime, Harold!"

"Wait, no, that's not-!" Harold tried, but his teammates jumped up.

"Dude, not cool! Why would you steal Scarlett's diary? That's such a douche thing to do!" Geoff exclaimed as Devin nodded in agreement.

"How dare you, Harold!" Tammy shouted from his other side, while Cameron shook his head in disappointment. "You should never touch a girl's diary!" She then went to console an apparently flushed Scarlett. "Are you OK, Scarlett?" The redhead managed to nod weakly.

"Wait, Crimson, back me up!" Harold exclaimed. The goth then became the center of attention.

"It's true, Scarlett had badmouthed all of us on that clipboard. We don't know how she changed that, but it's true, Scarlett is way craftier than you guys may think." She pleaded as the campers changed glances. No one knew who to believe.

"Enough!" Sam suddenly shouted, once again the outburst catching others off guard. "Harold, I know you wanted to eliminate Scarlett, you even tried to form an alliance to kick her out, but this is going too far!" Sam exclaimed, anger seeping into his voice.

"What?" Scarlett asked, her voice trembling. "I have never, ever, done something to you, Harold… Why do you hate me so much?" She then began to cry as Tammy consoled her.

"I… I'm not lying… She's probably faking her tears…!" Harold exclaimed, but even his own voice faltered. Not sure what was true or not, he took a step back, just as Chris approached.

"Woah, was that something worth witnessing, haha!" Chris then smirked at the Bass. "Bass, let's go to the campfire clearing, we've got an elimination to do!" The Bass all got up, most of them glaring at the dweeb while Scarlett still slightly cried.

Alejandro - Confessional (14)

Alejandro appeared with a smirk. "That was certainly interesting. I wonder how Scarlett even pulled that off…"

Alejandro - Confessional - End (14)

Harold - Confessional (10)

Harold looked exasperated, still shaken up from the sudden switcheroo. "How?! I hid the damn thing specifically so Scarlett couldn't touch it! How did she switch the notes?!"

Harold - Confessional - End (10)

Brick - Confessional (10)

Brick appeared with a stern look on his face and crossed arms. "Theft is a serious crime, and I wish Harold hadn't crossed that line! I hope his teammates kick him off!"

Brick - Confessional - End (10)

Night came once again, and the Killer Bass were all seated, most of them bore angry expressions, while one of them was elated, albeit without letting the others notice. Chris held a platter with eight marshmallows and a grin spread on his face. "Killer Bass, your winning streak finally broke!" He started. "I admit I did not foresee you guys losing this challenge, what with having the advantage and having a second chance." Chris then smirked toward Courtney, who huffed.

"Still, you guys lost and that's not cool! You've all cast your votes, and you've decided who's the next contestant to leave the island!" He then grabbed one of the marshmallows. "Since you're all tired, I'll just throw the marshmallows at you."

"Tammy."

"Devin."

"Sam."

"Crimson."

"Cameron."

"Geoff."

All campers either caught their marshmallows or had them thrown in their general direction, leaving Harold, Scarlett, and Courtney without marshmallows currently. "Campers, I've only got two more marshmallows… None of you completed their challenges, some of you screwed up royally, too." Shots of all three of them were shown. "However, one of you is safe for another week…

Courtney!" The C.I.T. happily caught hers and sighed in relief.

"Harold, Scarlett, both of you received votes tonight." Chris began as he held the last marshmallow. "Scarlett, you once again find yourself at the bottom two, this time though, I'm not sure why. You were accused of some pretty heavy stuff." He looked at her as he spoke, soon turning toward Harold. "Harold, you were the one who accused Scarlett of something heinous, but you committed something wrong too, and even worse, couldn't even prove what you said!" Harold gulped at the recalling of the events.

"Either way, the last marshmallow of the night goes to…

Scarlett!" The brainiac smugly caught her marshmallow and bid adieu to Harold. The dweeb got up slowly, knowing his fate awaited him. "Harold, sorry, dude. You're out."

"I wish things would have gone differently…" Harold murmured as he trudged to the dock of shame, Crimson soon went after him. "Sorry, Crimson… I swore our plan would have gone smoothly…"

The goth sighed but otherwise made no further comment. Suddenly, a well-known voice made itself apparent. Scarlett approached the two of them with a smug look on her face.

"Aw, did your little plan go haywire?" Scarlett mocked the two, who in return glared at the brainiac.

Harold spat at her. "How did you pull that off? I hid that clipboard on purpose!"

Scarlett smirked and pulled an object from her pocket. It looked like an earpiece, only it was made of scrap rather than a professional-looking one as Chris wears. "Simple, really."

A flashback of Scarlett messing around with her trash bomb appeared. "Chris was a fool for giving me plenty of spare parts, hahaha!" Scarlett boasted as she tweaked it with a screwdriver. "Yes, this way they won't even know what hit them…"

Both Harold and Crimson stared at her. "You… You were listening to us talk the whole time?! But I thought Harold was given the walkey-talkey!" Crimson said as she turned to look at the dweeb.

"Actually, Scarlett was the one who handled me it…" He said with realization lacing his voice. "You needed the walkie-talky to figure out the frequency you needed to tune in and hear our conversation…!" Scarlett smirked and turned around.

"Ding-ding-ding!" She mocked. "Just accept it, I'm far smarter than you two, I'm always one step ahead." As Scarlett rejoined the group, the boat of losers finally arrived, leaving Crimson to give one final goodbye to Harold, who went off being jeered by his peers.

Chris then interrupted the scene to carry on with his hosting. "And it seems Scarlett is shaping up to be someone who's tough to take out! Watch your backs, everyone!" Chris laughed as Crimson went back through the pier. "Tonight's loser was Harold, but who'll be the next one to leave the island? Find out next time on Total… Drama… Island!"

Cue the ending scenes.

Harold: "I don't know how she pulled that off, but I vote for Scarlett!"

Yikes, Scarlett strikes again. She's sure shaping up to be a powerhouse, a vicious one at that. Harold, Harold, Harold... At first glance, he's not a character I enjoyed watching during Island, being the stereotypical underappreciated underdog who has hidden skills and helps his team a lot. But after watching his brief "friendship" with Bridgette, I do kinda enjoy him.

I knew Harold wasn't going far in this one, but I wasn't exactly planning for him to be eliminated by one of the villains. Well, actually, he always had a rivalry with Scarlett, but he'd be out by his own mistakes (like throwing the paddles in the fire in the canoe challenge) but I decided to give some more insight into Scarlett's genius mind. Oh, and she didn't blow up the bomb on purpose, she was just too enthralled with the earpiece LOL.

The next episode is Up The Creek, introducing Boney Island! I cried a little writing the end, which was something that made me actually rewrite some bits of this chapter, that way it actually made sense! I hope you all have had an awesome February, and posting should be back to normal from now on.

Ciao!
