GENERAL GRIEVOUS

The mission was supposed to be simple. He just had to go to Dathomir, kill Asajj, Talzin and the rest of the nightsisters and report back to Dooku.

So why did it end like this?

Him stranded on Dathomir with his fleet destroyed and ship forced to land, having to fight Ventress and some unknown group?

He knew it had to beMother Talzin or that new sith lord's fault, though he didn't know which one of them was responsible. Such power was beyond his calculations. The only consolation was that he knew they shouldn't be a problem anymore. He learned from Dooku that the more powerful was the techinque, the higher was its cost. Whoever casted that powerful spell was either dead or crippled, he was sure of it.

For now he only had to worry about people in the room. After killing them, he woyld use his personal ship to escape the planet. He would then bring the next fleet and obliterate the village, ending nightsisters once and for all.

He knew this fight wouldn't be easy though. Ventress was a trained sith, no matter how unexperienced, so defeating her would be a challenge.

He didn't consider the rest of the group a threat to him. Maybe a mandalorian would be able to hinder him a little, depending on her skill, but a simple twi'lek and a brute with a metal sword wouldn't give him any trouble. He would leave them to his guards. He would take care of Dooku's former apprentice himself.

Knowing that giving Ventress time to prepare would be foolish, he immidately jumped at her. His lightsabers hit hers, sending sparks through the room. Before she even ended blocking the forst attack, the second one was already coming, pushing her into defense. He was constantly showering her with blows, not letting her think even for a moment and putting pressure on her.

He knew that in the straight fight against a competent force user he would be at disadvantage. If they would be able to focus, they could use force on him, something he had no protection against.

That was why the most crucial thing in the fight with them was to constantly keep them off balance. If they were only able to concentrate on protecting themselves, they wouldn't be able to use force on him.

Of course it worked better on the Jedi then on Sith, with Jedi powers being fueled by focus instead of emotions, but even sith needed to concentrate to use their more advanced powers.

He was in the middle of atracking Ventress, when he felt blaster bolts bouncing off his back. It was mandalorian and twi'lek, who apparently already defeated most of his guards, trying to kill him from behind. Useless, his armor was made to withstand even the strongest blows. You would need an immense power to...

He barely had time to dodge as the heavy durasteel greatsword fell in the position he was in just a second ago. It was wielded by that weird red beast who was the first one to enter the bridge of his ship. Now he understood. Shots from two women were clearly a distraction, making him focus on them and Ventress instead of the beast, that just waited for the opportunity.

Ventress, using this momentary break, raised her hand, trying to grasp him with the force. He quickly used his robotic legs to pin himself to the ground, while at the same time throwing one of his lightsabers at her. She let go of him, having to prtect herself from the projectile. He used other lightsaber to attack the red monster, deciding it would be better to get rid of it. Creature dodged the first attack, buth is lightsaber cut its sword in half, leaving the beast defenceless. He was about to end its life with the next attack, when he saw that it decided to retreat instead of fighting futher. Annoying.

Unfortunately he didn't have the time to deal with the beast for now, as he had to keep pressure on Ventress. He quickly moved in her direction, grabbing his lightsaber along the way, again overwhelming her with his attacks. He knew he had advantage now. Ventress was strong in the force, but she was unexperienced. By keeping her occupied, he made most of her arsenal useless, leaving her with lightsaber skills as the only ptotection. Skills that were inferior to Grievous' own.

They were moving in the direction of the windows. The fight was taking place on the bridge, giving Ventress a lot of open space to manouver. That was why it was important to steer her somewhere where she wouldn't be able to move so easily. Cornered and with her mobility taken away, she wouldn't stand a chance against Grievous' assault for long.

They were now quite close to the front window. He could see that Asajj was growing inceasingly desperate, realising the gravity of the situation she found herself in. She tried to retreat, but Grievious didn't let her, constantly pushing her back. Grievous was about to win.

Then he heard a woman's shout, though suprisingly it didn't come from Ventress, instead from behind.

"What are you doing?! No, Raksh! Put me down! Put me down!" Someone was screaming. Then he sensed the beast running in his direction at full speed, its steps making the floor shake. So foolish. He would just cut it down with his lightsaber, just like he destroyed its sword.

He was looking at Ventress, as it would be sangerous to stop focusing on her, but he saw rhat the beast was about to reach him out of the corner of his eye. It was holding something, though he didn't know what. Not that it mattered much. He decided to run his lightsaber through the object, destroying both the weapon and the wielder. This beast was apparently not smart enough to understand the power of lightsaber, so it would pay for its ignorance.

He used one of his hand to cut through the object with is lightsaber. However, contrary to his predictions, the object endured the blow. Even worse, the force of the attack was so strong that it pushed his lightsaber in his direction, cutting off the arm holding it.

He didn't however have the time to think about losing his hand as the object held by the beast didn't stop, hitting him in the chest and throwing him into the window with enough power to create cracks on it. The blow was devastating, destroying numerous parts of his robotic body. He didn't even know what happened. He slowly raised his head to see what hit him.

What saw was completely unexpected. The beast was standing before him, looking extremely pleased. It was holding the mandalorian woman in front of himsf, apparently deciding to use her as a battering ram. The woman was apparently fine enough to berate the beast for doing something so dangerous. Her armor, despite just coming into contact with a lightsaber was still intact. It could only mean one thing, but the explanation was so absurd that he almost couldn't believe it.

...Did that monster just use the beskar-wearing companion to protect itself from lightsabers and hit Grievous with her?

The thought was so surreal, that he didn't even notice that Ventress went into offensive. He wasn't able to completely dodge the incoming blow, costing him another arm. Fortunately for him window, which was already cracked after he was thrown into it, broke after being cut by the lightsaber. Using opportunity he allowed himself to fall out of the window.

He lost two hands, his body was badly damaged and he lost the fight, but he was alive. He would have his revenge.

He was getting close to the ground, ready to endure the force of the impact and escape Dathomir in his personal ship waiting for him in the ship's hangar, when he felt someone grabbing him with the force, lifting him in the air.

Ventress? He looked up, but she didn't follow him from the brodge, so it wasn'ther. But if that was the case...

He started flying extremely fast in the direction of the village, being pulled by an invisible force. He instantly passed the battlefield where nightsisters were finishing their fight with his droids and in the astonishing speed reached the village.

He stopped at the gates to the village, levitating before two people he really didn't wish to see at the moment.

Mother Talzin and Darth Imperius were looking at him. Mother Talzin was scowling, clearly displeased at his appearance, which didn't bode well for him. Darth Imperius on the other hand, though Grievious wasn't able to see his face, looked quite happy, which was even worse sign. That was...bad.

"It appears my followers are quite overzelous. I told them to bring you to me, not throw you out the window. You are lucky I was monitoring your fight!" Imperius spoke. Then he looked at Grievious closer, apparently noticing somethihg interesting.

"Wait, wait! I thought you are a pure droid, but now that I look at you, you have biological parts! You are like bio-droid or something!" Said imperius, voice full of wonder. He let go of Grievous, making him fall on the ground. "And you are trained to use lightsabers. That's so awsome!" he then pointed his finger at Talzin "I found it first. Finders keepers. Don't try to convince me to give it to you!"

"...you can keep him" replied Talzin, clearly not understanding Imperius' excitement. They seemed to forget about him, talking between each other. Deciding to use the opportunity presented to hin, Grievous turned on his lightsabers and striked with his two remaining arms at them, hoping to end then while they were distracted.

Neither of his lightsabers found its target. Talzin stopped lightsaber with a barrier she created, while the lightsaber meant for Imperius just stopped midway, alongside his entire arm, as it was grabbed by the invisible force, probably coming from Imperius.

That was really, really bad.

He felt his legs and remaining arms being ripped out of his body. Without legs to carry him, his body fell on the ground. Now he was laying in the mud, only his head and corpus remaining.

He slowly looked at the one responsible for this, afraid of what he would see there. Whatever the sith lord had in mind, it wouldn't be good for Grievious.

Darth Imperius was standing in front of him, looking at Grievous with barely contained glee.

"Good news, you now belong to me. I will have to modify you a little and give you new limbs before you would be able to join me, but soon we will have many amazing adventures together!" He exclaimed. That man was simply unhinged!
He thought that Grievious would agree to something like this?! He would tell him exacly what he thought about that idea, consequences be damned!

Unfortunately he wasn't able to do even that, as the next second electricity ran through his body, knocking him out.

ADAS KALLIG

I got a new droid!

I would have to repair it first of course, as it ended up heavily damaged in the process of obtaining it (some damages admittely being my fault), but I was sure I would be able to make it even better than it was before!

The battle was over. Confederacy droids were destroyed and their leader captured, soon to be converted to my side. Now we just had to finish the party and my visit on Dathomir would be over, as there was nothing left for me to do there for now.

Apparently the force disagreed with me on that matter, as not long after the battle a lone ship was spotted flying towards the village. I was tempted to just blow it up from a distance, as I was sure that this arrival wouldn't lead to anything good, but it seemed that Mother Telzin knew the new arrival.

The fact that Talzin whispered softly a word "Maul" after seeing the ship and then went to the landing site in hurry was a pretty big clue that she knew ship's owner.

As I was following her, I felt a strong sense of deja vu. Wasn't I in the same situation just yesterday? Surely it wouldn't end up the same way, right?

When two zabrak males, strong in the dark side, stepped out of the ship, I knew I shouldn't count on it.

They had the same resting bitch faces as Asajj, they had lightsabers, just like Asajj, and they looked at Mother Talzin with the same reverence as Asajj. One of them had a mechanic spider legs instead of normal Zabrak ones, which was quite cool, but it didn't change the fact that the situation would repeat itself.

So when one of them drew his lightsaber and the other started to hiss after seeing me, again, just like Asajj, I didn't waste time and instantly knocked them out the same way I did Ventress, using the force to hit them in the heads with nearby rocks, not even waiting for them to say anything.

I turned to Talzin, who was massaging her brows with her hand, clearly expecting something like that would happen.

"JUST HOW MANY REBELLIOUS CHILDREN DO YOU ACTUALLY HAVE WOMAN?!" I shouted, completely done with this entire situation.
