"Today's game was so much fun!" said Mia
"I enjoyed it a lot as well" said Rimuru while putting a candy in his mouth.
"What's the matter Ryzen-san? You don't seem well" asked Kay.
"Oh its nothing"
"Is it something to do with that sister of yours?" asked Mia.
"I am quite curious about that as well" said Rimuru.
"Well its nothing much. Just that I don't like her too much. Not that she is a bad person but-" said Ryzen with a sour face.
"If its something you don't want to talk about, that's fine" said Rimuru while gobbling up another 3 pieces of candy.
"No its not that. Its just that we are from different branches of the family, and are both potential leaders for our branches. And I should say we aren't exactly at good terms with them, so that puts me in a tricky situation" said Ryzen.
"I see. That's rather sad. You are both Benimaru's descendants right?" asked Rimuru.
"Yeah that's how the myth goes at least. Our great ancestor lord Benimaru had two wives, one was the same species as him while the other was a beastwoman. Initially there was only one family without any branches, but slowly we began to discriminate against the other 'mixed blood' members of the family. Thousands of years ago we finally split into two branches, one with pure blood and the other outcasted as 'impure blood'. Even though I don't care about any of that stuff, its still runs in the family and quite frankly, I want to stay away from all that" explained Ryzen.
"I see. I never thought you carry such a burden" said Kay.
"I hope when you become the leader you are able to make peace with Nina" said Mia.
"So that's how it is. I can't say Benimaru would be happy to know that all this" said Rimuru.
"Yeah. I can imagine"
'I suppose it can be resolved pretty easily once I release Benimaru from the seal'
"Alright then, lets focus on tomorrow's treasure hunt for now" said Ryzen.
*Boom*
"To think an S rank monster would be taken care of so easily!"
"You really are great Morgan san"
"This is so boring. Lets just go back already" said Morgan as he sheathed his sword.
"Now then as for our next request-"
"Cancel it"
"What? Why sir?"
"My sweet little sister has requested me take care of something, and I just can't refuse her you see"
The treasure hunt began. There were four teams each from three academies competing to find the hidden treasure. The area that was designated for this activity was very vast, consisting of various deep and hidden areas with unknown monsters. For this reason, a safety bracelet was given to them.
"Give it your all students. Show them why we are the no.1!" said Chris.
With that, the hunt began. This was a very good activity for students which tested their teamwork, intelligence, decision making while facing the unknown, and overall capability. There were countless hidden traps and clues they needed to encounter in order to reach the treasure and claim it.
"This is indeed a very impressive activity they have in this time" complimented Rimuru.
"In this time?" asked Mia.
"Ah nothing. So um, I have something I need to take care of real quick. You guys go ahead. I will join you later" said Rimuru.
"What? What do you need to do in the middle of this" asked Mia annoyed.
"No worries. We will take care of it" said Ryzen.
"Thanks"
With that, Rimuru teleported away.
"What?! That girl teleported away? Track her new location" said Morgan.
"It seems she has teleported near the entrance of the Mirage Caverns"
"The Mirage Caverns? Perfect. No one is going to notice if I take care of her there" said Morgan and teleported as well.
'Tch. I had thought that I would come here today after enjoying the game, but oh well' thought Rimuru as he had felt the bloodlust of hero Morgan.
/Hai master. We can take care of it right now if you want/
'Nah. Let it be. There is someone better suited for this job' said Rimuru and entered the Mirage Caverns.
/Notice. Attempt to lock all our skills and powers. Resist failed. We can no longer use any magic or skills/
'So the rumors are true afterall. Anyone who comes here is only reliant on his five senses'
With that, Rimuru wandered in the maze like Cavern, only reliant of his senses and memory.
"What the hell? Even my unique skills are locked?" said Morgan as soon as he entered "No matter. My sword alone is enough to slay a defenseless girl"
With that, Morgan started wandering in the cave as well.
An hour later-
"So this is the seal. It actually looks quite magnificent" said Rimuru staring at an otherworldly appearance in front of him.
/Hai master. We were able to find it very easily in just one hour because the layout of this cavern is very familiar/
'Yeah. I thought so. Each part of this cavern is has a very particular pattern. A pattern only someone from tempest can recognize. And the strength of this greater magic that even I am unable to resist in my current situation-'
/Hai master. It is most likely that 'that' individual is sealed here/
'Alright Ciel, try to resist this magic once again. I only need a split second'
/Hai. Attempting to resist/
With that, Ciel used all her might to resist it.
/Now master!/
With that, Rimuru gathered all the magicules inside him and the surroundings. He has the energy stored when he absorbed the Archangel Ikbo, and the surroundings consisted of a tremendous amount of magicules absorbed from the countless creatures who wandered here and lost their lives, including the bigshots like a demon lord.
Rimuru then moved a step forward, and gently tapped on the outer covering of the seal.
"Your master calls upon you. Break this seal and come serve me once more. I offer you my everything"
With that, the seal started to glow. Rimuru transferred all the energy he absorbed, even most of his own in order to break the seal. So much so that he was unable to maintain his current form.
He turned back to his slime form and was about to fall down on the ground, but suddenly a gentle aura caught him.
"Kufufufu Finally"
With that, Diablo let out a large burst of aura in excitement.
"What in the hell is this!?" said Morgan as he was almost about to faint.
The aura seeped out of the cavern, and spread in a 10 kilometer radius around it, in which it knocked out all the weak willed creatures, and left a terrible fear in the strong willed who managed to resist it.
"W-what in the world is this?" Chris, who happened to be in the 10 km radius, also felt its effect, along with some of the other students and staff.
"So this is what Rimuru sama was up to. Such a terrific aura that itches the definition of fear and terror in everyone around it. Truly magnificent!" said Velsa while laughing like crazy as this was the first time she had felt fear in the last thousand years after the great war.
"I have a very bad feeling about this. Just what kind of monstrosity has been unleashed?" said Nina.
