Xerzo: Thanks again for the review. You always try to get information out of me. The time skip will happen right around the same time it did in the first manga. It will add more to the story mainly getting Naruto up to snuff on information gaining as you will see in this chapter he isn't good at.
As for the Retrieval mission, well if he is a missing Nin then that is all I am gonna say. Sasuke will be getting is eyes right before Chūnin not wave. Honestly, the environment that he gets it will make sense but it will lead to more problems.
As for the assets and ownership things, they will be explained once they are back from the wave. It goes even further because the Uchiha much like the Senju held a share in basically everything. The Uzumaki's were more their own village so they never owned much. It is the same with the Namikaze at least in my story. That was a power move to wrestle most of the village control from the Uchiha mismanagement, and begin to make an exportation of food to help fund the village more.
As for under prepared, yeah they basically are and were in the manga and anime. Naruto is stronger now but most of his fighting have been spars not true fights to the death except when he was younger and it lose an eye. And no, I don't count his assassination in the last chapter. The thugs had no chance to even react. This is meant to be a test for all of them and Kakashi is strong enough to do it all but he will basically exhaust himself to the point of near death if he did. I will post Kakashi's, Zabuza's, and Haku's stats in the story so sorry in advance for all that hate that.
As for the Sakura part, well she is gonna learn quickly. She is gonna struggle a lot in the next several chapters about how she feels about things and several paragraphs worth of internal struggle will happen that will change how she feels throughout the chapters. In this chapter she will find out how much she has to go to catch up to even Sasuke. The one thing she does have over him though will become obvious in this chapter.

Divine-writes: I do have a plan for him to learn to one handed signs or shorten hand signs soon. I actually have an arc before the Chūnin exams where that will be Naruto's training get ramped up. The hardest part for Kakashi's training is he really didn't until wave. I planned on having that consistent but it would cause a slow down on Naruto's training. The fact that Sakura and Sasuke need to be trained more I gonna take more of his time. Especially if Sasuke gets his way. The plus side is I will not have Kakashi bend to that will. He will be training Sakura soon as they get back which is why he is having her have weight training.

SilentReaper: I am sorry I have been trying to not have massive walls of texts. I have been working on it. I am sorry if you do not like the story because of it.
I am sorry, this chapter I wanted to bring multiple perspectives into it so it will be fluid going from one part to the next but will be jumping perspectives. I did separate them by a bigger gap between each one.
Sakura was ecstatic that she finally was getting training. She had settled down from the quick ambush and had gotten her training from Kakashi. Weight training. Well, she stopped dieting already due to their missions leaving her starving. What was the worst that could happen? Well, apparently it was muscle fatigue and being exhausted to the point of collapse was expected.
When they ended for the day, Sakura just collapse to the ground. Naruto had given her some of his weight seals applying them to small weighted wrist and ankle bracelets. Why he had them she would never know. What she did know is they were of his own design. Apparently the seals were reactive to how much muscle the person had. When the seal sensed a certain threshold, they would increase. Now she was wanted her bed at home.
Sakura watched as Naruto pulled out 3 tents out of a scroll, and with the help of 5 clones, had them setup and ready for each of the groups. Kakashi would end up with Tazuna, Sakura would have her own, and Naruto would share with Sasuke. Looking inside her tent, Sakura found a folding camp bed with pillow and blanket. That seemed excessive to her but she couldn't complain. The bed was soft and inviting. Maybe this mission wouldn't end up so bad.
Kakashi watched as Naruto setup the tents while he took Sasuke to the nearby trees. "Alright, we are gonna go to part to of your training. I want you to climb the tree." Kakashi explained the training method.
"Really? Climb a tree. That is easy I used to do that as a little kid." Sasuke mocked.
"Ah, but you will only be using your feet and chakra to walk up it." Kakashi smirked and mocked Sasuke back.
"That's it? No special training. No extra jutsu. Just climbing a tree." Sasuke asked annoyed by the lack of respect he was getting.
"Sure, try it out. IF you can get to the top and hang upside down for 30 seconds, I will teach you a jutsu. I will even let you choose which one." Kakashi replied. He knew Sasuke who had barely any chakra control would never complete it without motivation. "I will give you until we get to the Wave then a day afterwards to complete it. That gives you 10 hours plus a full day."
"I want you to teach me a lightning style jutsu then." Sasuke said looking over at Naruto with anger. He still wanted revenge for the scar on his hand.
"Hmm, well if you happen to have an affinity for it I will. But if you fail, I need you to give up on any revenge you have planned for your teammates." Kakashi laid down the deal.
He knew this could be costly if it didn't peak Sasuke's pride. "I will show you the jutsu now to let you get a taste of what I will teach you if you succeed."
Kakashi started to flow through the hand signs at a rapid pace until he put one hand on the others wrist creating his infamous Chidori.
Sasuke looked on in curiosity. 'If I had that jutsu, I could take revenge on both my brother and Naruto. Well, I just have to lie about giving up my plans.' "Fine you have a deal." Sasuke shook Kakashi's hand after the jutsu disappeared.
"Good let's get started." Kakashi said as he started teaching the steps for the tree walking.
Naruto watched as Kakashi went through the steps of the chakra control with Sasuke. He wished the boy the best. You had to be a super genius to master it in basically a 24-hour timeframe that Kakashi gave him. Sasuke was not that. Naruto watched from his spot doing full body upside down crunches from a tree nearby. He had already setup clones on the perimeter and clones to setup dinner. Thankfully supplies he placed in his inventory never spoiled or rotted giving him access to fresh vegetables, rice, and some beef he picked up for extra precautions. Inside his mind, Naruto was formulating a plan of action. 'Kurama, what do you think of this?' Naruto asked his oldest companion as he give the details of what he was planning.
"Hmm, too much up to chance honestly. You and I both know that it also requires cooperation from your companions." Kurama stated looking over the plan.
While the plan was not overly complicated. Kurama was right. It was a lot up to chance. First was getting to the Wave without being attacked. Simple enough because even Kakashi thought they were in the clear until then. Next, find enemy base and infiltrate it. Problem with that one was having to find the base. If they were gonna attack and retreat after fighting then he had a chance. Finally, find enough criminating evidence to be able to crucify Gato. The evidence would most likely be there, problem was finding it. Simple plan but a lot of variables.
'Well, we have to figure out something so we can end this asshole's grip on Tazuna's village.' Naruto replied.
"We can just kill him." Kurama suggested with his feral grin.
'No, even if he is a prick. He is still a teammate and should improve with the necessary training.' Naruto thought as he didn't like to kill unless necessary.
Before long, Naruto noticed the food was ready hopping off the tree. "Kakashi foods ready." Naruto yelled as he went to grab Sakura.
"Hey, Sakura time for food." Naruto talked through the tent.
"Go away, I'm tired." Was all he got in reply.
"Come on, Sakura you need to eat. Listen if you eat I will massage out your muscles afterwards. Deal?" Naruto offered.
"Only if you don't do anything perverted. If you do, I will tell every girl in the village and have them help me hunt you down." Sakura said getting out of her tent.
"Promise just your leg calves and upper arms. If you wish for more during I will only work those areas." Naruto swore to the girl as he went to get her a plate.
"Mmmmmm." Was Naruto's only reply as Sakura took a bite of her food. She watched her teammate, walk over to the other side of the fire getting plates for the rest of the groups. Just then she realized she was sitting on an actual chair instead of the ground. When had he placed her in one? Why was his cooking so amazing? How did he know she felt like her muscles were on fire? So many questions flew through her head as she watched him carry food over to where Kakashi was training Sasuke.
Sasuke was angry. No angry was not the correct word, he was furious. Why did he had to continuously have to try to run up this tree while the loser had nothing else to do?! When he walked over with dinner was the straw that broke the camels back. "WHY am I doing this stupid training when he gets to sit around doing nothing?!" He let his anger explode outward.
"That is because Naruto has already completed this part of the training." Kakashi calmly replied. "Sakura has already the most of control out of the 2 of you that is why we are focusing on her chakra reserves and strength."
"Lies! There is no way that loser already completed this." Sasuke yelled back as he fell off the tree the 3rd time in 5 minutes. He was letting his anger conflict with his control letting his chakra flare.
"Alright, I will prove it." Was Sasuke heard as he saw Naruto walk over to them carrying food.
Handing Kakashi their food, Naruto walked up the tree with his own plate. Putting the plate at an angle to not spill it, Naruto started to slowly walk up the tree. Once he got to the branch Kakashi had made Sasuke his goal, Naruto proceeded to move to the underside of the branch turning his food upside down. Once completely on bottom Naruto sat down eating his food upside down.
"See, it is easy once you get the hang of it. The hardest part is keeping some of your chakra enough and maintained practice makes it perfect. With that practice you will be able to do more jutsu and become stronger." Naruto stated as he ate his food.
"What is the point of that. Jutsu are the only thing that make you powerful! I need that power to kill Itachi." Sasuke yelled at his team member.
"You think you can kill him in your current state." Naruto said as he jumped down. "You are a fly trying to bite a dragon. Until you can control your emotions and chakra, you will never be able to beat Itachi."
Enraged, Sasuke attacked Naruto. How dare he patronize him. Launching himself at the boy, all Sasuke saw was Naruto there one second then him on his back looking up at the sky. "Stop being a frog looking out of a well. If you don't you are gonna forever be trapped in your cycle of hatred." Was all Sasuke heard. 'How did he do it? It should be me that is that powerful. I should be the person that is strong.'
"Enough, Naruto. You made your point. Sasuke this training is important to be able to handle stronger jutsu later on. If you do not wish to complete this then I will not be focusing on your training." Kakashi said laying down the law.
"WHAT?! You can't do that! The council will force you to train me!" Sasuke yelled as he was starting to act like a spoiled child.
"Oh, I didn't realize the council was here. I didn't realize they control the shinobi and how they train. Continue the training or don't I let you decide." Kakashi stated pretending to panic at every tree around them.
The look on Sasuke's face said it all to Naruto. He had hoped to teach him so they can grow together. "Frog in the well, indeed. He is just being like all the Uchiha before him. They never learn to keep their jealousy and anger in check." Kurama commented.
'Let's hope he learns to or we are gonna have a massive fight sooner or later.' Was all Naruto thought as he walked over to Sakura at the fire.
There was a time that Sakura thought that Sasuke would never lose to anyone. Now watching it happen twice she wasn't so sure. 'I don't want to be considered a frog in the well.' Sakura thought scared of the fact that she was slowly going down that path.
'Don't worry you are getting better. This weight training is already starting to pay off. Naruto is coming over to give you a massage.' Inner Sakura told her.
'Stop! It isn't like that. He is being a teammate and helping my muscles getting accustom to the weights.' Sakura thought as Naruto came over.
"Hey, Sakura let's get that massage done so we can turn in." Naruto said as Sakura was in her own mind.
As he started massaging out her calves all Sakura heard from inside her mind was, 'Sure it is. You really seem to enjoy it more than just a simple helping.'
'Shut up!' was all Sakura thought as she tried hard to not let that get in the way.
"Alright, we are done. Tomorrow if you feel sore we make sure to have the weight reduced for a time to let you get more comfortable." Naruto said as he got up from his sitting position. He had pushed some of his chakra into her muscles to repair them as he was massaging.
"Right, well I guess I am off to bed. Good Night!" Sakura said a little louder than intended. Her legs had felt amazing that she didn't want it to stop.
As she entered her tent all she heard was her inner thoughts laughing at her embarrassment.
That night Naruto was sitting out on a tree mediating. He had sent a clone into his tent to give off the show of him sleeping. He knew he could go for roughly about a week without any sleep thanks to his chakra and CON levels being as high as they were. His main concern was an ambush. He knew Kakashi was also on the lookout but it didn't hurt to have an extra person. "Sensei, I know you are there. Come on out." Naruto said quietly not to awake the others.
"I see you have gotten better at sensing your surroundings. Though I wasn't really hiding from you so it might be different." Kakashi just sat down next to him while explaining.
"Do you think I was too harsh today? I want him to succeed but his arrogance might get someone killed some day." Naruto questioned Kakashi as he opened his eyes.
"Honesty?" Kakashi asked, getting a head nod. "A little however you showed the gap between you both. Your training is finally paying off in a big way. I have faith in you all to be able to get your acts together."
"I hope so. He isn't ready to fight Itachi. If he did now, Itachi would smack him like a fly. And that is judging by how strong he was when he left." Naruto sighed out.
"Well, hopefully he will come around. I do not expect this next fight we are going into to be easy." Kakashi stated looking out to the night sky.
"Who is the worst case and who is the best case?" Naruto asked wanted to get prepared for each.
"Worst case is a man named Kisame. He is the strongest out of all the 7 swordsmen of the mist currently out and about. As for who I hope for, well Juzo is strong but has a semi laid back aspect, Raiga is a lightning user so we could counter him, and Zabuza is probably the one that will give us the most problem, if we aren't cautious." Kakashi pointed to each of the people in the bingo book.
"So, expect the worst hope for the best. Any way some of them are dead?" Naruto asked hoping that it would make the selection easier.
"Hmm, there was a rumor that Juzo was killed by Zabuza when he was abandoning the Kiri. The as for the rest, well nothing has been stated about them." Kakashi explained going over the notes he saw in his bingo book.
"So, we have a challenging but doable fight, a hard fight where we might die, and a fight that could kill some of us. Our odds aren't looking good." Naruto stated looking at the options.
"No, they aren't." Kakashi agreed he hoped it would be Zabuza instead of the others. He had the easiest time countering him.
"Well, get some rest. You will need it if we are going to have to protect everyone." Naruto said "I got watch for the next 2 days."
"Don't exhaust yourself Naruto. I might need your help. Your mother was one the few people to be able to beat all 7 swordsmen back with just a blade." Kakashi warned hoping that they would all be ready for the upcoming fight.
Scene break
Deep in the night Sasuke watched as Naruto slept. He didn't care if the other died in a fight against someone else. It would be just as sweet of revenge. He slowly and quietly placed the 5 seals he was given onto Naruto. Activating them and then backed away as he watched the seals start to glow lightly draining chakra as Homura said it would. 'That will teach you to embarrass me.' Sasuke thought as he went back into his camp bed drifting off to sleep with a smirk on his face.
The next day went by of more of the same. Training in the morning followed by a walk to the port that would take them to the Wave. The end of the day they arrived at the small port off of the Land of Fire that would be taking them to their destination. After the usual training and food being made by the inn they were staying at, everyone retired to their beds, except for Naruto. He watched out at night, waiting for an ambush that never seemed to come. He had placed clone all around the tiny village to ensure no one would could catch him off guard. It was around, midnight when a clone disappeared letting him know that someone was trying to see if they had arrived.
Haku watched from a distance with an ice mirror around the inn. She had setup these mirrors the night prior to allow them to watch from inside. Problem with her Kekkei Genkai was distance she had to be a certain distance away in order for it to work. Noticing that the Konoha ninja were inside she slowly made her way back. She did not want to get caught and give Zabuza a reason to worry. He may call her only a weapon but she knew better.
She ran through the night across the small ocean to the wave. She was positive that they would become tomorrow afternoon. She heard from the room of their hideout screaming match. "FOR THE LAST TIME NO! You will pay us and leave everything else alone. If you don't well, my blade will be tasting all of your blood."
Haku watched as Gato and his men walked out of the room peering at her. The man had always given her the creeps. If they didn't need his money, she would have had the greatest pleasure of watching him suffer. Would she kill him, no. She wasn't a killer, not really. She did what she needed to in order to survive. Zabuza always said that if she ever felt enjoyment in killing then she was no different than the butchers like her father. "Zabuza, they will arrive tomorrow." Haku said as she walked into the room.
"Good, the sooner we are done with this the better. That man is worse than scum. If we didn't need his money for the revolution I would have been done with all of this." Zabuza said with his head in his hands. "Haku gets some rest, we will need to be ready for them."
"You too. Don't stress over this. If we need to we can leave and not have to deal with all of this." Haku said as she walked into her room activating her seal around her room. Better safe than sorry.
"So, you managed to follow her huh? Not bad kid. What do you want?" Zabuza said looking directly at Naruto's clone.
"Well, I wasn't expecting you to sense me that easily." Naruto said to the man in front of him.
"When you spent your entire life on the battlefield you get a sense of these things. Why did you come here Konoha scum?" Zabuza asked.
"Honestly to see who were up against. You scouted us so it is only fair. Though I have to question if you hate the man so much why are you continuing to work for him?" Naruto began questioning the man.
"Pay is good. As long as it is I will keep doing the job. The moment it isn't well the man will have out lived his usefulness." Zabuza explained grabbing his blade.
"Ah, makes sense. You must realize his intent is to kill you before you kill him. So, what is the real reason you still stay around?" Naruto questioned again.
At that moment Zabuza had enough of the brat swinging his blade cut through him only for it to puff into smoke. 'Hmmm this will be interesting. Let's see if you all can entertain me.' Was Zabuza's thought as now he knew what kind of shinobi were coming to him.
The next day Naruto was out on look out. He had told Kakashi who they were against. "Well, all we can do is prepare. Hopefully we will be able to overpower him." Kakashi said with a grim determination.
As they disembarked from the small fishing boat that had taken them across the water, Naruto went to high alert. "Kakashi-sensei, can I remove my full weight restrictions? That will allow the most effective fighting force." Naruto asked not wanting to be a hinderance in the upcoming fight.
"Sure, just be careful when removing them." Kakashi said in a laid-back tone.
'Yeah like your weights are gonna be that heavy.' Sasuke thought as he watched Naruto remove his upper and lower clothes to see weights strapped to multiple places on his body. Sakura had to turn away to avoid looking directly at Naruto.
Sasuke watched as each of the 9 weights were slowly removed. Curious, he went over to lift the weight finding it to heavy for him even to budge it. 'How heavy is this thing?' Sasuke thought as he put his entire body into moving the weight slightly.
Once fully free Naruto place his clothes back on. It was nice to be free of the weight again. Picking them up, Naruto placed them into his inventory. "Alright let's go." Kakashi said making sure to keep a lookout.
Naruto activated his Sharingan to scout. While not at as good as the Byakugan in scouting, it allowed Naruto the opportunity to notice details sooner.
"Hey, Naruto how much did your weights weigh?" Sakura asked. She wanted to get a gauge of how far away she was from him.
"Hmm, oh they are about 500kg each. They also have gravity seals on them to become heavier if I am doing an intense training with Guy sensei." Naruto nonchalantly explained.
'500kg! that was insane. He had 9 of those on him. No wonder he seemed so much stronger. Just how long has he been doing this weight training?!' Sakura thought. She was with a measly 10kg on each of her appendages and she was struggling.
'Imagine how muscular his body must be under those clothes though.' Inner Sakura teased.
'STOP! Now isn't the time. We should be on the lookout.' Sakura complained.
Scene break
A couple of hours later they were finally approaching Tazuna's town. Sakura felt hopeful that they were going to be attacked. That lifted her spirits greatly as they were drawing closer and closer to the town. As they approached, a fog seemed to roll in which was odd for the time of day. That was when she heard, "Everyone defensive formation. We are about to be attacked."
Immediately she heard a whistling through the air. It was faint and sounded so distant. Next thing she knew Naruto was pulling her and Tazuna to the ground as a giant blade swung past them. "Hmm, it seems like your reflexes are good as well. I can't blame Haku then." She heard a man that appeared to be standing on the blade as it was sunk 3/4ths the way through a tree.
"Zabuza Momochi, we were expecting you sooner." Kakashi-sensei said to their opponent. How did he know that he was coming?
"Sakura now is not the time to get lost in thought. Be on the lookout for attacks." Naruto said to her as he pulled out his blade.
"Well, well, well. It looks like you have some skill with a blade. Let's see how well you can use it. Water style: Hidden Mist Jutsu." Sakura watched as fog increased and the Zabuza disappear.
"Head, Neck, stomach, legs, chest. So many choices to kill a person. HAHAHAHAHA" was all Sakura heard as she slowly began to not being able to breathe. She felt like each of the time the voice said something that could kill a person, she felt an invisible blade hitting her in each place. It was over barring and felt like she should die on the spot.
ENOUGH! WIND STYLE: GREAT BREAKTHROUGH!" Sakura heard Naruto yell. She could breathe. She could see her surroundings. Naruto had stopped it.
Sasuke felt an overwhelming feeling. He felt like he should die. As he slowly pushed the kunai towards his heart, Kakashi grabbed his hand. Just as he felt death was imminent he heard Naruto clear the way. "Relax. Do not let another's killing intent to make your own actions." Kakashi spoke to Sasuke.
'Why?! Am I so weak that someone could control my own actions?!' Sasuke thought. He should have been stronger. This was Naruto's and Kakashi's fault. He should be trained and made stronger. This should never be allowed to happen.
"Damn, a wind user. Well, it is fine. I will kill you all my own way." Sasuke heard as Zabuza being revealed on the lake. 'He is the challenge I need to grow stronger!' Sasuke thought as he went to get ready to attack.
"Sasuke, Sakura you are on defending Tazuna. Naruto, you are on defense. Do not allow him to get close to all of them. I will handle him." Sasuke whipped his head towards Kakashi as he said this, pulling up his headband revealing a Sharingan.
'ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Another person using my power?!' Sasuke thought as he yelled, "Why must I be on protection duty? I could fight and beat this man!"
"Ah Kakashi of the Sharingan, the copycat ninja. It seems like your weak student thinks this is a game. Let him try. I want to make him suffer." Zabuza said grinning under his bandages.
"No, Sasuke. Follow my orders. Protect Tazuna." Kakashi harshly commanded.
'How dare they ignore me. Ignore who I am.' Sasuke thought as he watched Kakashi start the fight with Zabuza.
Kakashi stepped forward. 'This is gonna be a fight. Hopefully I can stop him before my chakra drains.' Pulling out a kunai out Kakashi started his fight. Kakashi jumped at the man in front of him. Dodging the giant blade, Kakashi went in to hold to prevent the man's movements. With agility of a cat Zabuza dodged swinging his blade at Kakashi. Blocking it with the kunai both traded blows before separating as mist rolled back in. 'Crap this isn't normal fog. There must be someone else.' Kakashi using his Sharingan watching Zabuza making a water clone in the mist. Before going to attack Tazuna.
"No." Kakashi yelled before dashed after the man. Activating a water clone of his own and trusting Naruto to block the man, Kakashi went for the capture.
Zabuza knew the defense group was weaker without Kakashi went for the attack. He wanted to setup a trap for Kakashi taking him out of the fight. If he did that would allow his clones or Haku to complete the mission and kill the brats. 'I feel a bit of remorse for killing kids just starting out on their journey but it is them or Haku. I am sorry.' He thought as he brought his blade down only to get blocked by the kid that had followed Haku.
'Well this works too.' He thought as Kakashi came behind him. "It's over." Kakashi said as he put the blade to Zabuza's throat.
'If, you only knew.' Zabuza thought as he released the first clone. He didn't realize that Naruto had activate his Sharingan himself copying his hand signs learning the Water clone jutsu. The second Zabuza clone came up behind Kakashi slashing the man with Kubikiribōchō. He watched as the Kakashi in front of his clone turned into a pudding as a water clone died.
"I told you it is over." Kakashi said behind the clone.
'NOW!' The real Zabuza attacking kicking Kakashi into the lake nearby. Dashing right after him, completing the hand signs, "Water style: Water Prison jutsu." Zabuza yelled.
'Now it is over.' Using one hand signs, Zabuza created 10 water clones. "It is over Kakashi."
"Damn, how this is why I shouldn't have fought near a lake." Kakashi said. "Listen you all need to run. Get out of here. The clones have a limited range."
Naruto watched as Kakashi got captured. 'Damn had I helped he wouldn't be in this situation.'
"We can't leave, if we do his teammate will attack." Naruto yelled back, making Zabuza appeared shocked. "You can come out now miss spy."
"Naruto…. What are you…." Sakura was about to ask him what he was talking about when another shinobi came out of the trees.
"So, you finally decided to make an appearance." Naruto calmly said walking forward. "Sakura, I need you to back up with Tazuna. Sasuke, I need you to keep calm and defend this spot."
"You do not give me orders." Sasuke said as he rushed towards the foes.
'You, stupid fool!' Naruto thought as he rushed to activate shadow clones. Pushing chakra to half creating 1000 shadow clones. "You lot protect this position. If you need to get those 2 out. 20 of you with me, we have to get Sasuke out." Naruto yelled out to his clones as he rushed forward at much speed as possible.
Unfortunately for Naruto, he underestimated his running speed without his weights dashing pass Zabuza crashing into Haku, before she could react. Haku's mask fell off in the crash ending with Naruto and her face to face. "Damn, sorry about that. Though we are on opposite sides."

"Haku move!" Naruto heard Zabuza say as he watched kunai with paper bombs attached launching at them on the ground.
Grabbing the girl, Naruto pushed off the ground lifting them into the air onto a tree. Looking to see where the kunai came from, Naruto saw Sasuke with a smirk on his face. "What hell Sasuke?! You could have hit me?!" Naruto yelled as he places Haku on the ground.
"Sorry about that, welp I guess we gotta fight now. Sorry about this." Naruto said as he tossed her at Zabuza holding Kakashi.
Haku was shocked first she was basically tackled and then saved from an explosion not that it would have it her. Finally, she got tossed into Zabuza, activating her Kekkei Genkai "Ice style: Ice Mirror." Teleporting into the mirror, come out the other side kneeing down. "I am sorry Zabuza. I failed to keep hidden."
"It's fine, don't fail again. Now you handle the brat I will handle the sword user." Zabuza said as he activated another water clone.
"Yes, I will not fail." Haku said as she faced off at the kid who through an explosive at her.
Naruto turned pulling out his blade as the Zabuza clone rushed towards him. 'Damn I know I can handle the girl, but Zabuza will be trouble. He managed to outwit Kakashi. This is not gonna be an easy fight.'

'No wonder his sword hits heavy and he is fast. The man is a monster for his level.' Naruto thought looking at his stats. Well if it was sword fighting the man wanted then he will get it.
Naruto entered into the first stance of Dance of the Crescent Moon. Moving towards Zabuza with blade held in an angle of the blade meant for quick strikes. Slowly Naruto approached Zabuza clone, Naruto slashed, intending for it to be blocked, or dodged. Just as predicted the clone dodged the attack allowing Naruto to make the first form into play. With the dodge, Naruto knew Zabuza was going to swing at him. He wanted him to.
Watching the blade rotated down at him in an arc, Naruto pull his blade to the side of the arc just enough to deflect the blade away from him. The giant blade could be heard sparking against his own as he pulled the blade through towards the clone. He felt the blade trying to connect, only for it to go through air.
'Shit!' He thought as he felt Zabuza kick him in the back. 'I should have thought of the fact he can use the blade weight to lift himself.' Skidding across the water, Naruto got up. "Hmm, I think I know that style and that blade. What is your name kid?"
"Naruto Uzumaki." Was his response as he got back into the starting stance.
"Of course, last time I saw this stance we a woman. Well, let's see if you can actually beat me." Zabuza said as he launched himself at Naruto.
Time seemed to slow down for Naruto as pulled the sword into a different sword location. His eyes saw where Zabuza was going to attack from. Pulling the blade into his Shigure Soen Ryu style stance. 'Well, I hope this works.' He thought as he pulled his blade into the 11th form. Pooling his chakra and taking the water from around him, Naruto unleashed his attack right as Zabuza was directly on top of him. "Uzumaki style: Shigure Soen Ryu: 11th form Bekkata di Rōndine" Naruto yelled as his slashes went out in an arc of water blades ripping apart the clone and sending them directly at the real Zabuza.
Naruto watched as the blade attacks were forced to be dodged, as he felt a cut on his left shoulder as Zabuza's blade cut his into him before dispersing into water.
Direct hit taken. -150000 damage taken due to own attack and sword attack.
'Damn, I knew I shouldn't have used it yet.' Naruto thought at his own attack had backlashed onto him causing massive amount of damage as cuts appeared throughout his body. At least he got Kakashi out.
Haku watched the boy organize himself. "Be prepared to be a stepping stone on my becoming stronger. Regret that you had to fight Sasuke Uchiha." He gloated as he started throwing shuriken at her.
'Do I look like I am just gonna stand there and let you hit me?' Haku thought as she dodged to the left allowing the shuriken to completely miss the mark. 'Well, I don't feel like killing him so I am just gonna knock him out.'
She pulled out her senbon, 'Let's make this quick.' She rushed the Uchiha dodging his thrown kunai and shuriken as she went for a quick knock out. Just as she was about to attack she saw a fireball heading to her.
Using quick signs, Haku created a water bullet launching it directly into the fireball causing the steam reaction. "Did you really think a fire jutsu was gonna work against a water user. Now look you are already exhausted. Did you foolishly put all of your chakra into that? How are you even a shinobi?" Haku really questioned the boy. Did he think this was a school yard fight?
"SHUT UP! I will defeat you!" he yelled at her breathing heavily.
"You barely even started fighting and you are already exhausted. Enough of this foolishness. Let's end this so I can help Zabuza." Haku said as she increased her speed.
Just as she was about to get behind the boy the one fight Zabuza appeared blocking her way. If he was here then, "ZABUZA!"
1-minute prior
Kakashi finally released from the prison, decided to put his new-found freedom to use. As Zabuza went to attack Naruto, he blocked the blade with his kunai. "Now now, Zabuza I believe our fight just began. Naruto go help Sasuke out."
"Right, but if he attacks me I am gonna knock him out." Naruto said with a smile jumping away.
"Now Zabuza let's continue our fight." Kakashi said activating his full power.
As Zabuza started to use hand signs, Kakashi would copy them instantaneously. They both yelled "Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu." Forming from the lake around them was 2 water dragons attacked each other as the shinobi attacked each other underneath. Kakashi activated the genjutsu looking directly into Zabuza's eyes. Slowly Zabuza formed hand signs. Kakashi knew what he was doing to Zabuza.
Zabuza was shocked. He saw himself behind Kakashi before a giant wave of water slammed him into a tree. 'How?!' was all he thought before getting hit with multiple Kunai.
"Its over, Zabuza." Kakashi said to him from the tree above him.
"NOOOO!" Haku yelled as Zabuza lost consciousness.
Haku sprint as fast as she could. Carrying Zabuza through her ice mirrors was never done before. It was a last-minute decision. She couldn't let the man who raised her and protected her die. Hopping from mirror to mirror was putting her chakra extremely low. It didn't matter though Zabuza was barely hanging on. Jumping the last ice mirror, Haku arrived back at one of their hidden bases. 'Thank Kami.' Haku thought as she started to lose consciousness. The last thing she saw was a person with a blade taking out a group of men that were at their hideout.
And that is a wrap. I am sorry that the fight scene wasn't great. I thought I did an ok job. I realized that is where I am gonna have to work on. I wanted to finish the chapter here because I wanted it to end with Squad 7 and Haku/Zabuza in non-combat form. Remember after the fight Kakashi was exhausted and needed to recover as much as Zabuza did. As for Naruto hurting himself, well imagine you are playing with a knife. Now you can do tricks with the knife like tossing it at a bullseye or doing the finger trick. Now imagine you are trying to catch the knife in the air while it is spinning. You can catch the knife without the spin but with it you can hurt yourself and that is what happened.
As for the damage that Naruto took from Zabuza's attack that is because it is one of the mist blades. I felt like his blade has special regenerative abilities already so why not allow the executioner blade to be able to ignore chakra armors. Did it cripple Naruto no, I imagine it like it went in with just the beginning of the blade before it disappeared.
