Xerzo: A spy master indeed. I have a plan for all the story. It is gonna be a long one. As for near death it is gonna be interesting when he comes across the major power in the story. Chūnin is gonna be a big impact on him. As for the whole seals the next couple of seals will be actually played in this chapter.
Haku being a girl was the plan from the beginning. Her being in his life will impact him and his choices. Naruto did hurt himself mainly because he wouldn't be able to all the forms correctly. As for the people outside well, it will be right down below.

Alexbarnes806: Don't worry his focus it wanting someone from the Uchiha main branch family. He wants to Sasuke or Itachi because he views them as Sasuke does superior.
Midnightscar17: It is a be however, it is not so much that it will cause an issue. I have a couple more chapters before introducing a couple of others. Again, it will be interesting with how I want the story to go. It is gonna be fun to write.
Bigxjim: The seals are only gonna slightly annoy him but are gonna be gone soon. As for that fight well… It will be interesting to say the least. I am imagining well that would be telling now isn't it.
Naruto looked over the 2-unconscious people. He had a feeling that a tracking seal would be necessary when he first followed the girl. What he didn't expect was the group of men waiting for them. The sick fucks were Gato's men wanting to kill them once they came back from fighting. He had left a shadow clone with his squad so he would know where they went as soon as they got there. The problem was Kakashi was out of combative status for a time being. His clones let him know that much. Sasuke was basically being annoying self-centered brat again. Sakura well she did her job, as much as Sasuke says otherwise. Naruto sighed, 'Well, they were betrayed maybe we can get them on our side with a deal.'
"Hmm, maybe it will depend on how much arguing happens once they are up." Kurama stated. "You should remove any weapons they have for the time being. Better safe than sorry."
'Your right. Well let's get to work.' Naruto thought as he created more clones. This allowed him to do multiple jobs at once. Try as he might though he couldn't help but noticed the teenage girl as he had to remove her clothes in ensure no weapons.
"Oh look, you finally hit puberty. Noticing the female body huh?" Kurama teased.
'Shut up. I am not like that. Hell, I had to do this job last time on Anko because she insisted I learn where a female can hide weapons.' Naruto replied immediately getting full blush as he remembered Anko forcing him to strip her naked and showing how a female can hide weapons where men can't.
'Well, that takes care of them. Now to cover them back up and put suppression seals on them.' Naruto said as he started to cloth both Haku and Zabuza.
Once the 2 were clothed and had suppression seals on them, Naruto turned to the remaining thug. The man was being tied to a chair found inside by 3 clones while he walked over. "So, what was the plan here?" Naruto asked.
"FUCK YOU! I don't know what you are talking about." The thug responded. Clearly he wasn't used to dealing with ninja.
Smirking, Naruto thought of what Anko would have done to this man. In the T&I building Anko sneezed feeling annoyed about someone thinking about her.
"Well, you do not know anything then you are not worth being left to live. Afterall being a rapist is a crime." Naruto said as he pulled his kunai.
"WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! I am just a simple hired hand. I don't know anything!" The thug panicked.
"Oh? I thought you didn't know what I was talking about. Well then, I am gonna need everything you know. Who is your boss, who hired you, and what was your plan? I want all the information or you will wish you were dead." Naruto replied to the man's panic.
"I don't know! I don't know anything! Please!" the man cried out as Naruto broke his finger.
"Now that isn't answer I am looking for. 9 more chances." Naruto slowly went to the man's other hand.
"NO Please!" The man said as Naruto broke his second pinky finger. "Alright! I'll talk! I'll talk!"
"Now was that so hard was it?" Naruto asked. "Now start talking or we will go back to our fun."
"Ok, ok our boss was sent here to kill the man with a giant blade and help Gato. Our goal was to capture the girl and take her to a certain drop off point. We do not know why we weren't informed who the employer was. Apparently our boss thought it was a good idea to get the double payday by working with both." The man cried out.
"Now, your boss name and location." Naruto said with an evil grin.
"He's name is Kajika! Please last time we were with him he was near the Land of Rice Fields. Please that is all I know." The man said. He didn't wish to die.
"Well, we will see." Naruto said while he nodded to his clones. "Take him back to the village. Go as fast as can and take him to Anko."
2 hours later
Haku woke up with a start. First she realized that she was bound to a chair will seals cutting off her chakra. First she noticed that Zabuza was nearby on a bed. Noticing he was also bound with seals on him. At least his wounds looked taken care of. She went back to pretending to be asleep as she heard the door open. "I know you are awake." She heard as the person walked in.
Opening her eyes looking at the blonde in front of her. "What do you want?" She asked knowing that she was basically dead anyways. Shinobi code that Zabuza told her said they were gonna be tortured and then die.
"Well, I figured we talk first. I need to wait until Zabuza wakes up anyways. So, anything I can get you while we wait?" he smiled at her. This was not what she was expecting.
"Why so you can poison me? Not gonna happen." Haku might have been less inclined to kill but she wasn't a fool.
"No, if I wanted to kill you both I wouldn't have killed the guys that were waiting for you." The boy said to her.
"Your lying, you are trying to earn my trust." Haku said. She would never allow herself to be fooled.
"Again, what reason do I have to lie. I could have done anything I wanted. Besides with high enough senses you can even smell the blood and decomposing bodies. Isn't that right Zabuza?" the blonde explained.
Haku's head immediately whipped to her adopted father. "Damn, you even put strength suppression seals on. What do you want brat?" Haku almost wept at the sound of his voice.
"Hmm, what I want is an alliance. You see, Gato planned to have killed right after you arrived. The mercenaries' boss was named Kajika. They wanted to kidnap the girl for her Kekkei Genkai I would assume. So, there you go. That it for what you will. I wanted to make a deal with you." The blonde talked to Zabuza.
"Huh, and if you are lying?" Zabuza being forever cautious.
"Well, then you both would have been dead by now. I followed you because of seal I placed on the girl. You have no weapons and are chakra and strength suppression seals on. SO, options listen to my deal or fight us again you both die. I rather not kill someone who is intending on killing so please don't make me." The boy threatened. It was that moment Haku realized how screwed they truly were.
"Fine, I am listening." Zabuza said back.
"Naruto, that is the name. Now what I have is a plan for both our groups to be happy. First I want you to help us kill Gato and raid his houses and businesses. We need to make sure to give some of the money to the village to rebuild but the rest is split between both teams. Hmmm, second allow me to have a fight with your apprentice. I want to see how I compare to another around my age. Sorry, I had to undo both of your clothes to check for weapons. If I didn't one of my Senseis would have killed me." Naruto said as he looked sheepish. If he wasn't their enemy right now, Haku might have thought he was attractive.
"Hmm, alright so far. What else? What does Kakashi want?" Zabuza asked.
"Actually, Kakashi is about as exhausted as you are. I am currently doing this by myself and will inform him afterwards. As for the last 2 requests. 1 I want you to figure out who this Kajika is working for. 2 I want you to inform Konoha of all the information you find." Naruto explained.
"Hmm, allow us to think about it." Zabuza said.
"Of course," Naruto used his blade to cut Haku's bindings. "I can assume you can get him out. Well you have I expect a week before you are back to full strength. I will be at the forest in near the bridge training. If either of you do not arrive in the week well enemies it is. I hope to see you." As he popped.
"Damn Konoha clones." Zabuza complained as Haku immediately went to get him out.
Once she was done, Haku hugged him. "Thank Kami, you are ok. What do we do?"
"We wait and rest for 3 days. The boy put clones all around this place to allow us to heal and relax." Zabuza said as his chakra returned allowing him to sense the other chakra sources.
"Can't we just leave and go back to hiding?" Haku asked. She didn't want to lose her foster father.
"Relax everything will be ok." Zabuza said already forming a plan as he hugged his daughter. "I want you to meet the boy in 3 days. We will discuss everything then."
3 days passed for the Squad 7. With Kakashi having to take a full day off to recover from the chakra exhaustion had Naruto train Sakura while Kakashi finished Sasuke's training. While Sasuke was learning to control his chakra output, Sakura was being taught elemental affinity. "Sakura take this paper and put chakra into it." Naruto said pulling a piece of chakra paper.
"Why though? It is just paper isn't it?" Sakura asked questioning what the paper actually was.
"It is chakra paper trust me." Naruto said as he did it for his own.
Sakura watched as the paper split all 5 ways, getting cut up and crinkling being the largest pieces, becoming a soggy piece and catching on fire being the middle size ones, then finally a small piece turned into earth and crumbled away. "This is my chakra affinities, Wind and Lightning being my strongest followed by water and fire, then finally earth is my weakest affinity however I still have the affinity."
'That is amazing. No wonder he is so strong. I wonder what mine is.' Sakura thought as she poured chakra into the paper. She watched as the paper split half became soggy while the other became dirt and it crumbled apart.
"Excellent! Water and Earth are good foundations, and it is rare to have 2 affinities starting out." Naruto excitedly explained.
"Wait if 2 is rare how many did you have when you did this?" Sakura's curiosity got the better of her.
"I had all 5 of my affinities since when I first did this. Now that we know your affinities, we can start chakra training as well as your strength training." Naruto started to go on about how awesome it is to have 2 solid affinities.
'ALL 5! If 2 is rare what does that mean for Naruto?!' Sakura thought as Naruto started walking her through the process of putting her natural affinities into jutsus.
"First process we are gonna need to have you complete is the chakra balance. It should be easy for you. Now first thing I want you to pull the water from the surrounding air to form in your hand using your chakra." Naruto explained as he started to show Sakura how to do it. He condensed his chakra into pulling the air making water.
"This is called water release, it pulls water from the air or your body to create it. The drier the atmosphere the harder it is to do. Kakashi had me ready to train you in all 5 just encase of a rare occurrence. Now this will take some time. While you are doing this, I am gonna go scout out how everyone is doing." Naruto said making a couple of clones.
As Sakura watched the Naruto's leave she question the one remaining to help her. She always had an easier time learning something if she understood all the reasons for it. Naruto was happy to help Sakura in all her questions. 'His knowledge is incredible. He explains everything so accurately it makes learning these so easy.' Sakura thought as she started to focus on the jutsu.
Meanwhile Naruto was scouting the town again. He had been felt off this morning after finally sleeping in the room. For some reason he felt an urge that he could place. 'Kurama do you know what is going on?' Naruto asked. He was very confused because he had not felt this way before.
"I do not know kit. It feels like you are being placed under genjutsu but not. You might just be tired." Kurama stated feeling the same. "It feels like my chakra is slowly being taken and used for what though?"
'I don't know but I will find out soon. Maybe it is time to do an inspection on myself.' Naruto thought as he finished his patrol. The night before they had arrived at Tazuna's house and basically crashed afterwards. Tonight, though they would be having dinner with his family. Tsunami had given them breakfast that morning but to help her out Naruto had paid for the food and even some he had brought with for emergencies.
Later that night
Naruto was sitting at the table waiting for food to come in. He was pushed away kitchen for trying to help. He had to admit he admired that from Tsunami, always trying to be the pillar of strength for her family. Naruto was broken out of his thoughts by a slam of the front door. In walked in Tsunami's son, Inari. The boy consistently had a stick up his ass if Naruto was being honest. Always grumbling how everything was useless and how all that they were working towards was gonna be gone soon.
"So, dad how is the bridge coming along?" Tsunami asked as she walked into the dining area.
"Good! It is going faster than I expected thanks to the shinobi here." Tazuna excitedly explained. Naruto had been providing him about 500 clones to do all the manual labor and security. It was a little rougher now that Naruto had put his weights back on.
"How long do you think until it is done?" Kakashi asked as he knew that Gato was not gonna let it be finished without a serious fight.
"Hmm, at the pace we are going today, I would say about 9 more days. Why?" Tazuna asked curious about what Kakashi was thinking.
"So, we have 5 to get everyone ready for an attack then." Kakashi explained.
"It won't matter. Gato is gonna win in the end. Just like he always does." Inari said as he looked down at his food.
"Why do you think that? What makes him so strong?" Naruto asked the boy curious about how much the boy actually knew.
"He has hundreds of people working for him. They are killers and rapists. I have seen what they do to people who challenge him!" Inari yelled at Naruto.
"Hmm hundreds. Ok I will tell you what. I will personally go fight one of these groups you think are so powerful. If I come back unharmed, you need to knock off your cry baby bullshit." Naruto yelled at the poor boy.
"Yeah, right like you will survive! No one survives fighting Gato!" Inari yelled back as he ran up to his room.
"Naruto where are you going?!" Sakura yelled as Naruto got up to leave after eating.
"Oh, just for a stroll. Don't wait up." Naruto said as he walked out the house.
Sighing Kakashi got up to place his dishes into the sink. "Well, looks like we won't be seeing Naruto for the next 2 days." He said nonchalantly. "Sakura meet up with me and Sasuke tomorrow morning. I will be taking over after getting Sasuke ready."
"Wait, Kakashi-sensei what do you mean?" Sakura asked weirded out by the fact that Naruto wouldn't be around.
"Oh, I guess you all wouldn't know this. Naruto has a temper when it comes to rapist, killers, and gangs. He tends to wipe them out actually, considering last time it happened." Kakashi said lost in thought.
"What happened last time?" Sakura asked before anyone else could.
"Oh, he killed them all before they could even realize what was happening." Kakashi said looking out the window towards the moon rising.
"WAIT! He already killed people?! How is that even allowed?!" Sasuke said paling slightly at the fact that his teammate killed people already. If he found out about the seals he has been placing on him every night he was in trouble.
"Special circumstances happen all the time. Let's just hope he doesn't go too crazy." Kakashi said as he went to go rest.
Two days later
Gato was furious. He kept getting reports of his men's heads being tossed at his estate every hour. At first he was freaked out about the fact that it was happening. He had sent out his best men to go handle the situation. Almost 200 men were sent out. Nothing but their heads returned. Clearly this was a message from someone. Was it from Zabuza? Did he find out that he sent people to kill him? Was it from the Shinobi that the drunk of a bridge builder hired? Was it some outside force wishing to take his territory? All Gato knew was that his men were not half of what they used to be. 500 men still remained under his employment with many leaving after the first day to avoid the death that awaited them. Too bad it didn't help. Gato looked at the secret phone hidden behind a painting. He needed to make a call.
Naruto laid in the forest. He had been killing any mobster that attacked a villager or civilian on the island. Honestly he was just tired. Something still felt off though. 'Well, now is as good as any to figure it out.' Naruto thought as he pulled up his stats. It was there that he noticed that his stats had negatives on him.

"Well that explains the awkward feeling." Kurama said now pushing is chakra out to find seal placement.
'Who do you think made them? The most obvious choice is Sasuke who used them but who gave them to him?' Naruto asked. 'You don't think he is that stupid to use them without knowing what they do?'
"Knowing how he acts, I have no doubt he would. Do you think he has been putting them on your clones too?" Kurama asked.
'If he did they were wasted. Man let's get these off of me and then let's take a nap.' Naruto replied as Kurama's chakra found the seals on both of his back legs and lower back. 'Did he have to go under my netting to get these on?'
"Probably just wanted to feel you up." Kurama joked as Naruto use his chakra to pull the seals completely off.
**WARNING! WARNING! Due chakra consumption of seals, user will be extremely weakened for 24 hours. Be cautious of fights in weakened state.**
24 hours! Damn it. Well, the only people that will be able to find me is Kakashi, Haku, and Zabuza around here anyways. 'Well, might as well take a nap.' Naruto thought as he leaned against a tree he was on to take a nap.
3 hours later
Haku was looking for the blonde shinobi for the last 2 hours. He just seemed to vanish. The boy seemed to be a ghost when he wanted to be. She wished Zabuza allowed her in her shinobi gear. The civilian clothes always made her feel self-conscious because it reminded her of the man she despised. 'Not now Haku, you are on a mission.' Haku thought as she passed through a small forest area near the builder's house. She had been by the other shinobis' training area. She met a clone there telling her that the real one was somewhere nearby but did not know where.
After 10 minutes more of searching Haku was getting frustrated. How hard was it to find 1 shinobi? 'Well, I might as well get some herbs for Zabuza's recovery while I am here.' Haku thought as she wandered further into the forest right under the sleeping Naruto.
Naruto shot up awake. Someone had come into his defense area. 'Man, I must have been more tired than I thought.' Naruto thought as he saw the girl he was expecting either today or tomorrow. Naruto immediately blushed as he saw the angle he was at allowed his sight to be able to see under Haku's shirt that shown that she had her bandages off.
Jumping down, Naruto decided to not scare the girl too much, by making his appearance known. *Cough* "You know I was expecting you sometime today." Naruto said to the girl as he watched her pull out needles from her sleeve ready to launch them at him.
Naruto watched as she visibly became less tense. "Do not do that. I almost attacked you." Haku said to him as she continued to pick herbs.
"Sorry about that. So, I guess Zabuza accepted my offer?" Naruto asked.
"He has his own conditions but he assured me that you will most likely agree to them. Are you ready to go now?" Haku said as she finished picking herbs.
"Sure, let me get my sensei." Naruto said as he created another shadow clone informing the rest of the shadow clones what happened to let Kakashi know to meet up with him.
Several minutes passed before Kakashi arrived. "So, we are going to meet Zabuza then?"
"Yes, let's go. Gato has men all around this area." Haku said as she got ready to sprint.
"Actually, he really doesn't. I have been making it a point to kill any who have been raping or attack the civilians. I needed to prove a point." Naruto said shameful of his actions as they set out.
"I figured you were the one causing that. That was not the point of our mission Naruto." Kakashi reprimanded the boy.
"I know. It just got me angry about the whole thing, and with the Inari complaint I couldn't sit back anymore. I will take any punishment for diverting from our mission when we get back to Konoha sensei." Naruto explained his actions.
"We will take care of that later. Now let's get this meeting underway." Kakashi said allowing Haku to take the lead.
3 hours later
Naruto was dreading this conversation. Zabuza might be unyielding with how everything is going. He hoped that today they would be allies. As they approached the hideout, they all felt the killing intent. Haku immediately yelled as she walked inside, "Zabuza stop we are supposed to have peaceful talks. You are gonna cause a fight."
"So, Zabuza I see you are looking better than I thought." Kakashi said looking at the man as Zabuza was sitting on a big couch with sword nearby.
"I could say the same to you. Your chakra exhaustion apparently wasn't too bad then. Now the terms, your student gave us the low down of what you all want. Cooperation, some of the money, and a training exercise. Now for my demands, I want to have Konoha support in the rebellion in Hidden in the Mist. Second I want you to take Haku and have her live in the village." Zabuza started as he was interrupted.
"ZABUZA no! I want to stay with you. I don't want to lose my family again." Haku yelled at him. She was not going to lose her dad.
"Haku, you are not a killer. I have been making it so you can live how you wish to live. If you are with me, you will be forced to kill. I do not want you to die because of me." Zabuza explained looking at his daughter in all but blood.
"I don't care dad! I much rather be with you!" Haku yelled she didn't care if others saw how much she cared for him.
"If I may. For your first one I will have to get the Hokage involved however it should not be an issue. For the second request, we can allow it, but to give her the most protection we would need a clan protection. There are currently 2 options with us, Uzumaki's and Uchiha's. Both of the boys' clans are major influences in the villages. But that is up to your decision." Kakashi explained.
"I need a minute with my daughter." Zabuza said as he pulled Haku into the side room.
"Zabuza no I don't want to leave you." Haku pleaded almost to in tears that her father was abandoning her.
"Haku, I am doing this so I can protect you better. Konoha is the strongest village even with their loss in power. This is my way to keep you safe. If you wish we can request to have you become a shinobi there. It will allow you to be trained. There is someone after you for your ability I want to protect you from them." Zabuza said as he pulled her into a hug.
"But, what if I am not there and you die? How would I live with myself?" Haku cried out as she started crying into his chest.
"Hey, they haven't killed me yet. And when I do, it will be to protect things that mean the most to me. Like what I am doing now." Zabuza said holding her in his arms.
Several minutes passed until they both returned to the shinobi. "So, about the clan protection. Is it truly necessary?" Zabuza said he was unfamiliar with all the clan laws not being part of one himself.
"No, it isn't but the protection is better. Prime example is Naruto's clan as blood activated ward seals that can take a Bijuu chakra attack and can stop intruders from even entering the compound." Kakashi explained.
"Before you ask my clan is the one from Whirlpool. My compound is the highest protection with my parents adding more as they were worried." Naruto said as he went somber.
'He has pain in his eyes.' Haku thought as she thought of her own mother.
"Hmm, ok we will discuss that in details afterwards. Last thing I need is information. Any and all information you have on this person who wanted Haku." Zabuza said with his killing intent leaking out.
"Fair enough, we can have all the details planned out in 12 hours once we get confirmation from the Hokage." Kakashi said as he nodded to Naruto.
"Shadow clone jutsu" Naruto said as he created a clone only for it to disperse.
They waited a couple of minutes before Naruto looked back up to Kakashi. "The Hokage is aware of your requests. He is willing to cooperate with all the points however we will not be able to send Shinobi support to the revolution. The scroll with the Hokage signature. Now, before you accept my protection, there are ground rules. While under my protection you are provided all the protection and comfort of my clan. Biggest thing is though there are women who are part of my clan that are technically engaged to me. Long story short, our clans have a protection act that if the heir or leader of the clan selflessly saves another clan's member than they will be required to pay compensation, for an heiress it normally repaid by having them married to the heir of the clan." Naruto explained as he had found out about the laws too late in his time.
'The old stupid law should have been removed by noooooo. Now I basically forced 6 girls to be with me.' Naruto thought to himself.
"Oh please. Those girls are already madly in love with you." Kurama laughed out.
'Shut up! Then there are the other 5 girls get jealous and demand that you accept their engagement as payment to be accepted into the clan and receiving clan protection.' Naruto droned on.
"They got jealous of course they would. Hell look at Tenten for the biggest example. The girl was practically on fire with the amount of burning jealousy that she had for Hinata and Ino." Kurama chimed back.
'Don't remind me.' Naruto thought before he heard his name.
"Sorry what?" he asked looking embarrassed at the fact he lost focus.
"I asked that because I am technically part of a clan that is basically extinct. Would that count the fact that you saved me from your teammates attack?" Haku asked as she started blushing.
Before Zabuza killed him Naruto hastily replied, "No, we were not offered the clan protection at the time." Naruto said as he thought, 'Well, knowing my luck it is only a matter of time. Though I won't force her to do that if she is uncomfortable.'
"Well, with that all out of the way. Let's go over the game plan for the tomorrow. We plan on having the bridge complete in 2 days. So, if Gato wants to do anything it will be tomorrow. Realistically how ready are you?" Kakashi asked Zabuza.
"I am still sore from the kunai you put in my limbs but I can fight if need be. How many are you expecting?" Zabuza asked.
"I killed close to 150-200 men the last 2 days. They were pillaging and raping people so I put an end to them. Gato will be on high alert because of it." Naruto explained. He had more being killed by clones of the last couple of hours but they were being on guard now so he only managed to get a couple.
Kakashi taking charge of the planning, "So, here is the plan…
Alright and that is where I am gonna stop it. I have plans for the next 2 chapters going back to Konoha before returning for the conclusion. Next chapters will be multiple perspectives of what happens during the week Squad 7 was on their mission. I am actually really excited for it as this will be mostly the girls as they go about their own missions. There is a reason who this break now.
