"My queen, the humans seem to have rejected our offer and decided to have sided with the demon lord Kainath"
"I see" replied the beauty sitting on her throne, staring at the far end, with seeming irritation and anger on her face.
"What should we do my Queen?"
The monster queen Yuria, one of the strongest Axis of the world on par with the three pillars, Leila, Nathan and Kumbha. Some legends say that once Leila went too far in order to force her into joining her side, and the resultant was she destroyed half the heaven, killing many of the lower gods and a couple higher gods. Seeing this opportunity, the demon lords declared war on heaven, which eventually led to the great war thousands of years ago which almost destroyed the balance of the world.
"Let them do as they please. We offered them a middle ground by keeping the interest of both sides in mind, but it looks like they don't want that. That's just how greedy and thrashy humans are" said Yuria in frustration.
"Indeed. Those foolish humans think that aligning with Kainath will benefit them"
"That's just how much they can think with their small brains"
"Of course"
"Alright then, are you all ready?"
"Yeah. Lets see, in the first round we are supposed to be demonstrating our magic capability by showing our strongest spell right?" asked Rimuru.
"That's correct. And then the second round will be combat demonstration, and then a final round in which we will be fighting against a designated opponent. And then finally we will be given our starting ranks based on our performance" explained Kay.
"Yosh. I am ready"
"Hey Ryzen, I heard your father will be coming to watch this as well, along with various other important people" asked Mia.
"Yeah. That's right. I have heard that the king himself watched over this demonstration along with his daughter, princess Linda"
"What the heck? Doesn't that increase the importance of this event like, tremendously?" asked Mia.
"Of course. We are the Kulan academy afterall. There are always very high hopes from the best academy of the world, which provides our country the best of the best" said Kay.
"I see. It is just making me want to go all out" said Rimuru with a slight chuckle.
"THE FIRST ROUND, THE MAGICAL DEMONSTRATION ROUND IS NOW BEGINNNING! STUDENTS WILL ALL GET ONE CHANCE TO SHOW THE GREATEST SPELL IN THEIR ARSENAL. AND SO I WILL NOW INVITE THE FIRST PERSON TO COME ON STAGE!"
With that, the entire stadium burst in cheers.
"What do you think we should be expecting for this generation? Do you have any particular student in mind?" asked Fritz.
"Well I would say there are a couple students that stood out, but overall this year's batch seems to be the weakest one we have had in quite some time. To be honest I think Kulan is losing its reputation nowadays" said Karole.
"Hmph"
"Your son is also going to graduate this year right? Allen. To be honest he is the only one I have hopes for" said Markov.
"Just you wait and see" said Allen with a face full of confidence.
"Ho? Is that so? That is quite a good news" said Edgar, the king.
"Papa! Don't forget the promise you made to me!" said Linda in an adamant tone.
"Hohoho Of course my daughter. Your marriage to Allen's son has already been discussed"
"Yay! You are the best papa!"
"That was very wise of you to agree to the proposal Allen" said Edgar while drinking.
"It was natural your majesty. To be able to marry the royal princess and thus become a part of the royal family is the greatest honor our family can achieve. I am very grateful to princess Linda to have recognized the value of my son" said Allen in a humble tone.
"Hehe"
"Hee? Does your son know about this Allen?" asked Karole
"His knowing it does not matter. This is in the best interest of our family"
"I see"
"Now then, let us watch the show"
*boom*
"THAT WAS AN EXCELLENT SPELL BOLT-SAN. NEXT I WILL CALL RYZEN-SAN ON STAGE"
"Yosh. Here goes nothing. Crimson Hell!"
With that, the sky started to turn crimson red, and then suddenly a huge meteor shower consisting of crimson fireballs started ascending down.
*boom**boom**boom**boom**boom**boom*
In a matter of seconds, the entire field was burning a deep crimson, with no traces of any target left on the ground.
"Amazing. If it wouldn't have been for these barriers maintained by multiple S rank adventurers, this would have caused the entire area to melt away! T-this spell alone puts him at least on par with best of the A+ rank adventurers!" said Fritz.
"This is nothing. Just you wait till the last round" said Allen with a proud face.
"Wow Ryzen-san is as amazing in person as I thought!" said Linda with excitement.
"THAT WAS AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE RYZEN-SAN. NOW I WILL CALL THE CURRENT NO.1 STUDENT OF OUR ACADEMY RIMURU-SAN ON THE STAGE"
"Rimuru? Was that a student named that among the ones who stood out?" asked Karole in confusion.
"Papa! Why is some nobody having the title of no.1 student instead of Ryzen-san? Did you do something?" asked Linda in a serious tone.
"No no sweetie! I promise I have nothing to do with this! Is Velsa behind this? But I can't imagine her doing anything that would harm the reputation of the academy" said Edgar in a doubtful tone.
"I have certainly not heard of that name before. And considering he is somehow the no.1 student right now? I am not buying it either" said Karole.
"We are going to find out the truth anyway" said Allen while sipping his tea.
'What do you say Ciel, how much should I hold back?'
/Master these foolish people are underestimating your greatness, and it is very likely that your holding back here is going to have serious consequences. I would suggest you show them a 'taste' of your power/
'Yosh. I have recovered a lot of my power and am now actually stronger than I was when I first woke up. Looks like I should vent out a little'

"Alright then, are you guys ready for a show?" said Rimuru and brought his hands forward.
"Eternal Darkness - Black Hole!"
With that, a dark circle appeared in between the field.
The next moment, it started devouring everything around it. All the targets in the area, the ground itself, even light, nothing escaped its grasp.
*crack*
The next instant, the barriers protecting everyone shattered, and got consumed by the black hole as well.
'Yosh. This much is enough'
With that, the black hole stopped consuming, which resulted in a moment of darkness caused by it consuming all the light everywhere. Then it rose up high in the dark sky, and blasted. The resultant explosion shown so brightly, it was as if witnessing a mini supernova itself.
"What in the world!"
"T-the barriers maintained by the S-rank adventurers shattered like mere glass! J-just what kind of monstrous creature is this?!"
"It seems like we have a potential SS ranker here" said Allen.
"There he goes again. Does he even realize what he did just now?" said Ryzen.
"Hehe but that's so like Rimuru" said Mia with a laugh.
"That I cannot argue with" said Kai while watching the show.
"Yosh. This should be enough" said Rimuru, and the next moment everything went to normal. Well as normal as it could get with a gigantic hole instead of the ground and shattered barriers.
"Tee-hee"
